The Irishmen Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I got the turkey and bacon melt. It was so incredibly good. Great turkey, bacon, melty cheese. The bread wasn't soggy at all. The fries were some of the best I've ever had. Usually I take ranch with my fries, but these didn't need any ranch. Perfectly seasoned with salt. The waitress was a bit slow despite the joint not being busy. She was friendly though. I'll definitely be going again.

Stopped here on my journey to find good wings on the North end. Beer selection is good, full bar and the wings were amazing. Plenty of meat, cooked well, drenched in sauce and served piping hot. All in all a revisit is on the cards.

You want Irish? Here you go. Genuine owner operator straight from the mother land! Great wings, fries and Sheppard pie! I will be back

My husband brought me here at the recommendation of our neighbor.....whoopsies! Our waitress was friendly enough, but consistently dissapeared. I ordered their mac and cheese, my husband ordered their fish and chips. He had water and I had two fruity alcoholic drinks that were full to the brim with ice. Our tab was over $50 with tip! For that price, our waters weren't refilled, the waitress forgot my second drink order until I'd finished my meal and my husband's fish was luke-warm next to my steaming dish. We sent his plate back to be warmed up. Our server was not pleased. To top it off the floor underneath our table was absolutely disgusting. I accidentally dropped something and never would have noticed otherwise, because it isn't very brightly lit Inside. Given that both of us have Irish heritage, in addition to the referral, we really wanted to like this place...however once we *finally* received our bill/receipt, we couldn't get out of there fast enough:( Given all the positive reviews, maybe we went there on an off day, you know? It happens! Unfortunately our experience was so bad that we don't plan on trying it again!

Great place to grab a pint and a bite and people watch. If that's not your thing the bartenders are always good for a chat when they have the time.

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! And home of any Liverpool fan! If you want to catch a game, grab some good food, and a tipple of your favorite Irish Whiskey, stop by!

My wife and I have eaten here several times over the years. We both love the colcannon and have recently started exploring other menu options since we were stuck in a rut, it was a happy rut but still a rut. The bangers and mash are pretty good although I think I prefer the Three Lions pub version. Next time I have dinner here I definitely plan on trying the shepherd's pie to see if it's better than my homemade :)

What a great little find...thank you Yelp! The Good: Corned beef hash Macaroni & cheese is the very best I've ever had! Service was speedy & friendly The Bad: Bloody Mary was too salty to consume The So So: They had great irish music playing for the 1st 20 min or so then we overheard the only staff member on duty complaining about how it was a little much in the morning .....she switched it to regular American pop music...kinda killed the irish feel:-/

Barry is a wonderful bartender and conversationalist. Stumbled upon this place and what a joy. Would definitely stop by again.

  • Matt R.

Fun atmosphere and good food. Great beer on tap too! They have steak on the menu, but don't order steak here, it's not their strong suit. Try the shepherds' pie or the bangers & mash; they're spot on! Corned beef is great too.

Went there about a year ago. Owner was very rude. I have enjoyed not going back. If you go there, don't blame me. I will however send some, "I told you so's"

I've been here multiple times and the food is decent and service usually good. Today I came in for lunch and seeing they were busy I also noticed their day waitress wasn't there so not sure if it was a call out or under staffed either way I waited about 10 minutes with no acknowledgement (even after I moved literally directly in front of the bartenders face, got my own menu while the bartender watched, seated myself) not even a ill be with you shortly so I walked out. Probably won't ever go back unfortunately. My mom bartended basically all my growing up and some of my close friends now bartend and it's unfortunate when a bartender has to do a servers job as well but none the less please acknowledge your customers we matter.

Love that place! On St. Patrick's day they had the most amazing band playing too. Everyone is always super friendly. Always a good time.

Stopped here on the way to a concert. Good sandwiches, I had the reuben which was tasty. Also had the soda bread for an app which was good. Had the typical Irish beers on the menu as well. Overall, a good stop in the Everett area, since there really isn't much as far as food there. Would recommend a stop by.

  • Kaya S.

Horrible! Who doesn't serve coffee for us sober drivers on a drinking holiday ??! And is rude about it ! Openly Let's their staff drink Starbucks in form the while on the clock but we can't bring our own. Food sucked to boot! Won't be back!

If you're in the Everett area, and you're considering the Irishmen (why else are you reading the reviews?!) you really should stop by this great restaurant! It has a great relaxed Irish bar feel, cozy, and clean. I have stopped by during a busy Saturday night and sat up at the bar and it took a bit to get my drink order but other evenings it's been great. It is not a huge restaurant so I wouldn't recommend large parties. Have the Shepard's pie, have the Pot Pie, have the Guinness Braised Beef Stew! It's filling and delicious!

Outstanding place to have a drink after work. More and more impressed with all of the downtown Everett establishments. Great atmosphere, and food!

    (5)
  • Steve M.

When you start a workday at 5 in the morning and its time for that lunchtime break, the Irishman is the place to go with an express lunch thats a half a portion of their main entrees but equally satisfying. I had the fish and chips and as a frequent connoisseur of the likes it was delish. I washed it down with a Jameson and Ginger and was ready to tackle the rest of my fine Navy day.

Good Beer (IPA), good food (COLCANNON), good people, real life!

I ate here last week. Good selection of drinks wait staff is EXTREMELY inattentive Came here with my girlfriend and were basically ignored the whole night

    (3)
  • Tami W.

I always have a really good time when I come here. I'm one of those crazy woman who show up at bars alone when they have some time to kill. I've been here solo a couple times and the bar staff never make me feel odd. Even when I ordered an American whiskey instead of an Irish one. Unfortunately I haven't experienced the food, but I assume it's delicious also.

    (4)
  • Shawna R.

I had the fish in chips they were over done. The portions of the other meals were not big enough for the price. It was okay food but I probably won't come back.

  • Jordan K.

Came here on a Saturday at 10pm. It's self service. We took a seat, waited 10 minutes and nothing. I went to the bar, bartender told me to grab a table and we'd be helped. Nothing after 5 minutes. We left. Other reviews are decent, but be prepared to waste your time

    (1)
  • Martha Shaver W.

I ate here today for the first time. Nice atmosphere. I had the bowl of corned beef, cabbage, sausage, onion/potatoes! It was very good but a very small portion with a very small piece of soda bread. I thought the price was too high for what you got. My party with me also agreed. We left still hungry.

  • Krista L.

One of my favorite lunch spots. I love the decor, music, food. Its a cute pud that has ONE person working the front. There is no time for that person to slack off. Its like they are working for their money and i love seeing that in my server. Food. I have the roast beef dip, yuumy cheese with the onions and the meat is niced and seasoned. Its a most try place!!!!

    (5)
  • Mel P.

Good atmosphere, but that's about it. Our server was less than pleasant. The beer selection is small and no local craft goodies. The food seemed like Food Service, my Irish soda bread was so dry and bland that I ate one piece and quit. I was disappointed because it got good marks :(

    (2)
  • Sarah F.

The service at this place was absolutely wretched! Now, granted I will admit I've only been there once and it was in a large group... Pros? -Food was good -Pleasant atmosphere Cons? -A girl shouldn't have to walk up to the bar and ask for a drink, get told she can get one at her table that the server was at, and then demand that they give it to her on a different tab! It worked, but damn... shouldn't be that hard to spend money!!! -Not enough staff on board to help out... which is probably one of the reasons the service wasn't very good, and I acknowledge that

  • Beverly D.

This is a very quaint bar. Lovely, attentive servers. They have a nice menu and great music. Everyone gets very involved in the live music, singing and dancing along. It seems like there are quite a few regulars but, they add character to the already authentic feel.

    (5)
  • Tina H.

Love this place! The food is amazing, I swear the sprinkle crack on their fries, they have Guinness on tap and Tuesday night trivia is the best trivia night I've been to so far! I agree with other reviewers that the staff can be a bit cold, but regardless I have always had a great time here!

    (4)
  • Marcella W.

Pine drop beer on tap is delicious. Extremely friendly staff. Great vibe during the busiest and slowest hours. Good fries! Favorite bar in Everett.

DISCLAIMER: I have only been here during happy hour. (5-10 times) Great place!!! I love the fact that every time I went here, there was always parking available within a couple blocks. Their Caesar Salad is amazing! I always get the Chicken Strips and Caesar Salad and it's good EVERY TIME. Service is decent. Great place to grab a beer or just go out for a bite.

Cool local spot. The atmosphere is fun. Food is decent. Drinks are good. Service is definitely spotty though. They're nice but under staffed most of the time.

  • Daniel J.

Normally a good quiet bar to have a few drinks and a meal and talk. Tonight bad coverband with amps designed for a space twice as big. Can't talk. Getting food to go. Almost deafening. When they have acoustic music its great. But the manager needs to tell folks to turn it down.

  • Chelsea L.

Great cheese burgers, mac and cheese, and rubens. All on with fresh home made ingredients. Little pricey, but great knowledgeable staff and huge whisky variety.

Stopped going when everyone in our party came down with a horrible stomach aliment that could only be attributed back to the food at the Irishmen.

No stars for breakfast (more below). No stars for service ...40 minutes for a simple order in a mostly empty restaurant. One star for the lively Irish music and decor. I had the Irish breakfast. My over medium eggs were solid, the Irish bacon was a modest slice of ham, link sausage was okay, tomato and mushrooms, fine, sourdough toast thin dry and uninspired. Certainly not a $14 breakfast. My wife had an Irish Scramble, in essence a dry disk of a fritata. A slathering of salsa and or tabasco and or sour cream would have helped. Jam for our dry toast would have been appreciated. Her potatoes were the best thing either of us got.

Friendly service, great food, good atmosphere. Can't ask for much more. I've already been back since my first visit and I'll definitely be going back again. The live Irish music on Monday nights was great.

This place is just comfortable either inside or out doing some people watching, weather permitted. Good selection of beers, wine and cocktails. HH menu has many selections. All together, another great stop on the happy hour tour of downtown Everett.

  • Jfo L.

Good place with a easy going atmosphere. My bf and I got the Irishmen burger, and the fries are decent, but nothing great. For us, the burger was average and the bun was too big. My friend got the Roast Beef Dip, and the beef was pretty dry. The beer is around $4.50 - 6 dollars and the average meal is around 10-20 bucks, which is a little spendy for the average food. Overall, good atmosphere and average food.

It's unfortunate I am giving this establishment such a poor review, but it is not unwarranted. Last Saturday night (9/28/2013), my brother was visiting from out-of-town and we opted to go out for a few beers and chat as it had been a while since he'd been back. Well, what was meant to be a nice quiet evening began on a sour note as we were denied entrance from the man at the door (whom we were told was the owner by a man entering the pub). The owner took a look at my ID and then my brother's (both of us are in our 30s, but we know the routine) and then said to my brother "No, you're not getting in, you're too drunk, I can see it in your eyes." I was a bit taken aback by this given that this Irish pub was our first stop of the evening; neither one of us had done any drinking by that point. Remaining level-headed, I explained to the man that my brother wasn't drunk, that it was most likely just fatigue from being jetlagged as he had flown in from Tampa that afternoon. But that man refused to listen to reason. I told him I didn't understand why he was refusing to let us in but he simply just repeated himself "You're not getting in" and had the audacity to not make eye-contact with me. Without choice, we had to leave and ended up going to a local micro-brewery, but I was just amazed by the fact the owner turned away two potential patrons simply because my poor brother was a bit tired from 12 hours of traveling. His standoffish nature and refusal to listen to reason lost him revenue that night, and any night in the future from my brother or myself.

Great local watering hole in downtown Everett. The Irishman is our favorite pre and post game stop during hockey season (Silvertips). Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good pub food, especially the wings! Real Guinness on draft poured to perfection! Love the weekend live music and sing along tunes. Good party atmosphere and fun!

Great spot in Downtown Everett! Pretty laid back atmosphere with really friendly service and decent prices. We got Irish pasties and the beef pot pie, both were really good. Also, I highly recommend getting the whiskey sampler. This will be a regular spot for us and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for dinner or a drink.

I'm giving three stars for the cook, but honestly, I wanted a buzz. My French dip was GREAT so was the Reuben. But the drinks.... Oh no! They call me a lightweight and I walked out barely buzzed after spending over $60. Monday the 7th (2014) bartender *YOU NEED TO POUR STRONGER* to satisfy even the lightest drinker. I ordered long islands, he ordered whiskey and coke. Were going to polish off a bottle of cheap vodka to satisfy ourselves. What did you put in those drinks? I felt like I was drinking water!!

    (3)
  • Diane H.

Five of us ate here last weekend. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Reuben and it was very thin with meat and overloaded with sauerkraut. I was disappointed especially since I'd had a Reuben at a tavern a month before and it was so thick that I could only eat half. We may try this restaurant again but no guarantee.

OK so I'm English, but my wife is an American and between us we can't find much of a decent bar here in Marysville so we went decided to try The Irishmen in Everett which is about a 10 minute drive away. Went on a Sunday and made sure our trip co-incided with a Sounders game so we could watch the game on TV while we ate and had a couple of beers. What can I say? Food was excellent, seriously this place serves GOOD food! I had the beef stew, my wife the Irish pasties and both meals were faultless. They were hot, they were good quality and they were reasonably priced. The menu as a whole had a good choice and next time we go I'll probably try the fish and chips. The pub itself was spotlessly clean, atmospheric and as close to a "proper pub" as I've been in since I've been here. They have a trivia quiz Tuesdays so we'll be back for that and I would have no qualms about recommending this place.

I go here more than I'd like to admit. I like this place because it has a good feel (wood everything), the people that work here are nice, they know what I drink and they dont ask questions. Its an Irish bar so they have Guiness and cider and all the goodness that goes along with an Irish bar. One thing I wish they had was an IPA, either on tap or in a bottle I dont care. This place is always clean and has nice big clean bathrooms. The food is pretty decent and the happy hour food is pretty good. I usually spend too much money when I go here, beer and drinks can be expensive, plus I really enjoy it so I spend a lot of time here. This place usually has something going on. Mondays are movie night or they have live music and Tuesdays are trivia. Overall: I love this place!

Let's be real: if I don't HAVE to go to Everett for a night out, I probably won't. However, my best friend lives north of Everett, and my boyfriend is from the area, so sometimes it just so happens I'm dragged to "downtown" Everett for a night - and thus, I stumbled upon The Irishmen. It's a great little Irish pub, full of Guinness (which I don't drink), and lots of other beers (which I drink happily!). They also have a full bar and will provide tequila sunrises and vodka cranberries and the like. I've also indulged in fries, nachos, and other sorts of terrible-for-you but oh-so-good appetizers. I've never seen the place super packed, but when it's busy it's never crazy rowdy or obnoxious, and always pretty clean. Definitely worth a trek to Everett if you're heading up north!

  • Drew J.

OK, went back for breakfast -- what a difference! The corned beef hash was amazing. The waitress was cheerful and chatted about the news with us. It was an awesome start to a lazy Saturday. This is probably one of the best kept secrets in Everett.

  • Justina R.

Amazing food, good drinks. Fish and chips was perfect! They always have Smithwicks on tap!

Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere!! Best pub in Everett.

  • Dana G.

What a difference a friendly bartender makes. First time felt like "Cheers," very welcoming for us new kids in town. Several stops since then, service, while prompt, felt more indifferent than friendly. Didn't help when dual dishwashers vibrated the bar hard enough to make me wonder if Everett was the minor 'quake epicenter. Foodwise, their Caesar's average yet a nice healthy Happy Hour option, and their Irish Stew is filling if inconsistent (a bit gristly the 2nd time I had it). Maybe we're old fogeys, but anyone can suggest someplace open past 11:30 pm Friday night where we can hear each other without shouting? No, we don't need hearing aids! We're not barflies, but besides Dennys, it seems the sidewalks roll up at night 'round here.

  • Julie H.

The proximity of the Irishmen to the office means it's a regular after-work respite. The bar is actually well-lit, with ample table space, and a decent food menu in addition to the usual bar menu. Pass on the "authentic" Sheperd's Pie but feel comfortable ordering staples like potato skins. The Irishmen hosts a trivia night every Tuesday that I didn't realize when we sat down around 6:30. By the time the trivia got started around 8 the bar was packed and sounded promising, prompting my co-workers to wonder if they shouldn't try their hand at trivia one night soon. There are happy hour specials daily, and the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. If you're in downtown Everett and jonesing for a guinness you could do a lot worse than the Irishmen.

  • Annie R.

My absolute favorite bar. Live Irish music, pub trivia nights. Excellent food. Ambiance is delightful-- the polished wood, stained glass, booths, the coat of arms of every county in Ireland and countless items of Irish memorabilia. Be still, my wild Irish heart!

  • Lindsay P.

My friends and I have had some wonderful drunken times here. We usually frequent this establishment after a Silvertips game (win or lose, must drink away our woes or celebrate a victory!) and it's always PACKED. We have been lucky enough to get a table each time though, which is pretty good because we always have a group of 5 or more. Service can bit a bit slow but considering how busy it's been I let it slide a little. Their happy hour menu is great, and includes things like irish stew, loaded potato skins, and a cheese, veggie and hummus plate. There are a few drink specials on beer and wine, but if you want cocktails you'll be paying roughly $5-$10 depending on what you get and what sort of liquor quality you want. Even the lower quality liquor they have is still good. The last time we went was for a friends birthday and he and another friend got so ridiculously drunk that the server had to cut them off. Kuddos to her for knowing when to stop. However, she was really rude about it, so minus one star for her. To sum it up, great space for post-game drinking and pretty good food! It can get realllllllly loud in here though, so be prepared.

  • Mo M.

Oh yeah, this time was better. Of course, we returned here on a snowstorm... and had a chance to partake of the NEW MENU! (which is wood and hinges, very old world fun) The additions we had were very tasty, and service was fantastic, as we were two of 10 peeps in the house. For some odd reason the entrees had no prices, hope they fixed that.

  • Steve B.

First off, this review is based on St. Patrick's Day, so it probably doesn't reflect a "typical" night there. The pub itself is inviting and seems like a cozy enough place for a drink. The service was good considering how busy it was. The reason I only give it a three star rating was simply because the $10.00 cover charge I paid. I had high expectations for some good Irish music, and was more than a little disappointed. The Snohomish County Firefighters Pipes and Drums were excellent, but why is it that people still associate Scottish music with St. Patrick's Day? It's a mystery to me... They entered with "Scotland the Brave"... When they had finished, a couple of guys with guitars took the stage and started off promisingly enough with Flogging Mollys "Drunken Lullabies" followed by The Pogues "Dirty Old Town". Good start I thought... immediately followed up by an acoustic version of Rihanna's "Rude Boy". WTF? Not exactly Irish, and not meant to be sung by straight men... Next came Neil Diamond, Sublime and Kenny Loggins... It was then that I decided to head down to the Ould Triangle in Greenwood to salvage the rest of my St. Paddy's Day. I noticed on the schedule that there was Irish Session music every Monday night at The Irishmen... why Monday night praytell? I'm tired of "Irish" bars that insist on classic rock or contemporary soccer mom music covers on Friday and Saturday nights...

The shepherd's pie here is good enough to keep you coming back....good flavor with plentiful helpings. The mashed potatos on top makes the dish. Great lunch dish for one of those overcast WA days. The irish stew is also good. The pasties are good but are not as good as my wife makes.

    (4)
  • Marcella S.

The service was a bit slow but the french fries were delicious. Great decor. The menus were even bound with wood covers and door hinges, I really admired them. Would give 3/5 stars if I could.

  • Bryan B.

I was out with a group of friends and one of them knocked over their drink by accident and the glass broke. Another one was ordered and the check came with both drinks, had to pay for both. I can understand this to some degree but it was a non alcoholic bloody mary at $4. We talked to the server and we were told too bad. Bad customer service and bad attitude by wait staff will not bring me back to this place.

I do not even think this place deserves one star! Seriously. When my wife asked the guy what he would recommend between the fish and chips or the Shepard's Pie he said to go with the Shepard's pie... Okay great, but instead she got chili with mashed potatoes. WTF. It was disgusting. Then my dish since nothing else at the time interested me I got the Mac N cheese. Pretty hard to screw that up. WRONG. It was gritty as hell and the noodles were moosh. Screw you guys I would rather eat McDonalds for a quarter of the price.

A real Irish Pub in Everett. That's the plan , and the owner Barry has done a good job of creating a place that would be right at home in Ulster or Dublin. Excellent, authentic Irish pub atmosphere, and a great selection of both beer and Irish whiskey, although it's a full bar so you can get anything here. Great place to take a date, and the Everett Events Center is only a few blocks away . The old Everett Theatre is right next door. Depending on what's happening at these venues , The Irishmen can be packed on a given night (think Silvertips game), and finding a parking spot can be a pain. Other nights, no problem . Not the least expensive place to get a beer in Everett ... pints run towards $6 , but they pull'em right . A proper Guinness or Black and Tan , and a special treat : Smithwick's (pronounced "Smitticks"), a great Irish beer, on tap. I think the prices help keep the gangsters and the riff-raff out , after all, this is north Everett we are talkin' about. If you want $5 pitchers , hootchie-mamas and hip-hop , this ain't it. No pool tables, darts, or games of any sort , but a couple of well-placed TVs allow you to keep track of the ballgame de jour . Cafe style outside seating in the summer . Inside, a warm, friendly atmosphere that allows for a boisterous laugh or lively conversation , and occasionally an unplugged Irish band will show up and lay down some traditional pub reels. Trivia night is Tuesday , and it's got quite a following . The food is excellent, if purposefully unpretentious...after all , it's real Irish pub food ! Bangers and Mash, Irish Stew, Fish and Chips , Shepard's Pie.....and of course burgers and sandwiches for the less adventurous. All very good, all prepared and served in traditional Irish pub fashion. Entrees run $10-$20 , and the happy hour menu offers some discounts on snacks and sandwiches. The owners are very hands on and typically tend the bar, which helps keep the service consistently good. The place is clean and drama-free. Everett is a better place for it , and I strongly recommend you check this place out !

Went here last night with a friend for the first time. Nice atmostphere, friendly staff, excellent Guinness. My friend ordered bangers and mash and enjoyed it. The portions were generous and well seasoned. There was a trivia night going on there around the time we were leaving and the place was packed. A fun atmosphere. I will be back to check out the happy hour.

Loved the way this place looked inside and out! We went to this bar on a Friday night around 9, found a big table for all of us to sit and ordered some drinks. The waitress was speedy and on the ball right from the get go. My husband paid the bill so I never got to see if their drinks were more or less expensive than other places but hey....booze ain't cheap these days. I recommend this cute little bar for anyone looking for a relaxing good time!

When my husband and I relocated from Seattle's Capitol Hill to N. Everett, the biggest culture shock we experienced was the lack of good pubs. There are some pretty funky blue collar dives, some overpriced and terrible restaurants that served their own microbrew, but no real pubs. Until the Irishman opened, that is. Then we rejoiced! They know how to pull a real black and tan here! They have Irish footie on the telly! They are open until 2 a.m.! They have live music! The only thing that was a bit off was the Irish stew - it's nothing like what my grandmother made, but it was pretty good. The rest of the menu rocked and the service was excellent. Bathrooms are clean, the ambiance is exactly what an Irish pub should be and the owner is a kick in the pants.

  • Alexis X.

Went after a hockey game and it was packed. Good tap beer selection and the happy hour food was the bomb! I ordered $5 fish and chips and the fish was fresh and the batter was crispy and amazing! There's a full sized burger, potato skins and other full sized menu items for $5. They have 2 happy hours, the late night starts at 10pm. So worth it!

One of the better pub n' grub places in Everett. Nice, chill place to relax and drink. Rarely overcrowded, and usually a decent mix of people, minimal troublemakers and tools. Drink prices are somewhat reasonable, and the food is alright. Service has the tendency to be kind of slow, but most of the time it's slow, it appears that they're just understaffed. Bartenders are typically pretty friendly, and they pour a solid Guinness or black n' tan. The nachos make for a great snack after a few drinks, and decent happy hour deals. They also do well at accommodating large groups.

Apparently to the bartender working last night, giving an 'authentic' Irish pub experience means being a complete a-hole to your patrons. Now, I've never been to Ireland, so I'm not sure if this is the kind of service you can expect over there, but I was pretty appalled to experience it myself in Everett. ...Which is a big bummer, because I really like the Irishmen. It has a great atmosphere, fantastic beers on tap, clean bathrooms, and good food (I've heard...never tried it myself). But the bartender may need to find a new career, as it seems he's very unhappy with his current one. For this reason, I won't go back to the Irishmen until they change their staff. Not sure if it was the owner working or not (I'm not familiar with the owners), but if that's the case, he may want to re-think his marketing plan. Service should be #1.

So I used to work with Barry, the owner of this pub. Loree and I drove up to everett one night to go check it out shortly after he opened. The decor is nice, the bathrooms really clean of course. Everett hasn't had the chance to "Christen" them. I only gave the 4 star because I havent tried the food, I only drank magners but I hope that this place is doing well.... Its just really hard to drive up to everett have any drinks and then drive back to seattle.... When I get a chance to visit him again I wil give it a go..... and a better review Im sure....

Been wanting to go to this place so finally had an opportunity to used my Living Social coupon and brought my sister along with me. We enjoyed the atmosphere and considering we're not drinkers, it was still inviting and pleasant to be there. The food was great and the bartender was very nice. I'd like to go back and try their breakfast. I heard it was great too. This was great discovery in downtown Everett.

Every time we go we are never disappointed. It is consistently a good choice before hockey games. I would make sure that I go early enough because it can get pretty crowded and the service can slow down. But I have never missed a game due to the service being slow. Be sure to try the Reuben or the Irish Stew its great.

Great atmosphere for Friday after work and Tuesday trivia nights: They have a good house Cabernet, yummy fries, a great spinach salad and fresh soups (a tasty veggie black bean soup).

What a wonderful place to spend the evening. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and if you want great food that will comfort you on every level, this is the place. Our waitress Maureen was helpful and friendly. Now if you have a love for good Irish Whiskey your journey is over! The bartender/owner is very knowledgeable and loves to talk Whiskey! This is my new favorite place. Can ya feel the love!!

I don't know what I was thinking when I went in here - I ordered a freakin' burger - what the hell is wrong with me??? I mean, it was fine, but tonight as I write this I'm kicking myself....why would I not order the traditional Irish stew made with guinness? the potato dumpling with sausage? the stuffed Irish chops, etc., etc., etc. ?????????? Anyhoo, this used to be a Mexican restaurant, but they have really changed it up - the decor is very Irish publike and the bathrooms were nice and clean with cute decor as well. I definitely am going to give it another go, instead of lunch though you'll see me there at happy hour with my corned beef and cabbage....

If I am given the power to choose, I choose the Irishman. Great staff, well prepared food, Beer and drinks. The Irish Breakfast is wonderful.

Great food, good service. Monday night they have live music, which is when we went. Amazing Shepard's Pie. Best I have ever had! Recommend for small groups as a great place to eat and enjoy good music. Server was great too which helps. She was able to speak to everything on the menu. Not many reasons for me to go to Everett but might have to start thinking of a few to justify the drive up.

Decided to take my date here because the reviews were so great. Good choice, she liked it, or at least she said she did. Anyway, it is a pretty cozy place that seems great for doing just want you want when you enter a bar, enjoy ur drink & feel your drink. I had a Manny's for the first time and it was pretty good. My date had a Washington Apple and it was no glass of puckers, the bartender made sure the first drink was potent. We tried the Potato Dumplings & Sausage for an appettizer. If your up to try new things, then this is a great start. We ate the whole dish and even forked a few scoops of the gravy because it tasted so different & good. The menu is not that big, but its a pub & eatery, not a restaurant. So we settled for the Reuben sandwiches, which Im a huge fan of. My date only tried it because nothing else seemed appealing to her and she is no fan of sauerkraut. Long story short, the Reuben was flavorful. The spread was not drenched in the sandwich and neither was the sauerkraut. It was evenly spread throughout the sandwich and I never wanted it to end! Even my date was surprised at how well it tasted. Fries were on the side and they were fine. Our waitress was friendly, she made sure our drinks stayed full and that our food was to our liking. The other waitressess even made rounds to make sure we were fine when our waitress was out of sight. Overall, it was a great choice for a friday night date. Great place to go and chill after a busy work week and all you wanna do is relax, drink and have a good bite to eat. Glad I experienced The Irishmen, I will return when Im in Everett!

Food sucks. No seriously, it really sucks. BUT the atmosphere and bar are top-notch. Go for a Guinness or two but stay far (FAR) away from the food.

Nice happy hour. Good food and drinks. The setting is cozy and bar well stocked. The crowd is mostly professionals and locals. Service can be a little slow as they seem to be understaffed. But it is a great little place to hang out after work with friends and chat about the day's events. No pressure to get up and go when you are done. Trivia nights on Wednesday.

We live just down the road so we end up walking down here often. We really enjoy this place and the food is very good. I usually get wings and/or the fish and chips. Both are very good. I really like one of the bartenders, and one of the bartenders is kind of eh. But a fun time is always had here. The prices are definately high, especially if you plan on having a few adult beverages. But overall I highly recommend this place!

GUINNESS in EVERETT! Yay! The food - yuck. How about some organic greens in the salads, cheese on the nachos and some fresh guacamole! I tried to salvage the meal by ordering their famous apple pie which was equally disappointing... frozen Marie Calendar's tastes better.

It's not the cheapest place in Everett, but its got good music, atmosphere and Irish Car Bombs (what else do you need?). The Guinness Stew is to die for!

I've been going to The Irishmen pretty much since they opened back in early 2009. I live in South King County now, though, and I'm definitely missing Barry, the owner, who's a loveable grump, the delicious wings (oh Mama), the excellently warm atmosphere and my ready-made pint, which was always poured and being held out to me the second I walked in the door. Have only been able to make it up a few times in the last year and a half, but it will always be my favorite bar in Snoho County and one of the best Irish pubs I've been to, better than many of Seattle's and Portland's Irish pubs. They definitely make you feel like one of the fam once you establish yourself as an Irishmen lover.

The Irishmen is a nice pub with mostly dark beer and mediocre food. It's not my favorite pub/bar in Everett, but it's a really nice joint and I don't have to worry about getting mugged in the area or anything.

With James, I rate it a 4 for now- as Everett wasn't ready for a 2am eatery/bar, but I we haven't made it up there since it first opened. I loved the setup and decor- feels like a real Irish bar. Hence, the owner being from N Ireland and all...I really hope it's doing well. Hope to hear more reviews of this place soon- and to visit again!

Food was OK, the beer was amazing. It's probably the most high-end joint in North Everett. Gorgeous bar. But you pay for it in your bill. It's not exactly the cheapest place around.

Great place to hang out in, not too crazy, but always fun. The bar itself is beautiful and the Rueben Sqanwich is too die for!

We stopped in for lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon. The place was delightful. The decor is dominated by the bar. It has a real pub feel to it. The menu is standard fare with a few Irish dishes thrown in. Mostly sandwiches, burgers, salads and such. We started with onion rings and chicken wings. Very tasty. I had their beef stew and my GF had a cobb salad. Both were very good. The food was a bit pricey, $12 for a bowl of stew. The service was excellent. We both drooled over the dessert menu and while we didn't order any we will be back to try some.

I had crappy service. Food was mediocre. I'd like to go back to check out their evening crowd, but I'm not expecting much.
