Bomb dot com I love this place. My favorite sandwich is the mushroom and Swiss pot roast. It always hits the spot! I also recommend the Sicilian. Every time I come here for lunch I leave satisfied. Keep up the good work!

A-OK is just abot right for this place. I'm wishing the subs were toasted & it would have been SO much better. I got the vegetarian. The only flavor was the garlic mayo & it had no texture. My fiance got something with roast beef & he was happier about it. The staff was really awesome, the non-veg options looked pretty good + plentiful, prices were pretty solid ($10ish for footlong) & the sourdough bread was great.

I've heard my coworkers talk about Red Rock Subs and decided to check it out. WOW am I ever glad I did. It's a quaint little place with only 5 parking spots. They have many different subs available including 3 different pot roast subs. I had the mushroom and swiss sub on toasted french bread with garlic mayo. I wish I could say it was terrible in a twisted attempt to keep you away and save it for me...however, a delicious sandwich like this belongs to the masses... My advice is go there hungry and leave very full. Awesome food and exceptional customer service!

What a pleasant little surprise. Co-workers rave about this place and there is a lot of positive reviews on it too. Was leary about "lines" and the "parking" though . This is Saturday evening and there was just a couple other people there. Was able to sit out on the patio which was nice. The staff member brought the food out, dispite our hesitation for them to do it. I can see how this place can get busy.....THE SUBS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Forget about this place being a secret....I am putting the word out. Oh and make sure you get a punch card, that comes at a great price too...FREE.

Best sandwich place in Everett, hands down. My coworker kept talking it up, so I had to see it myself. Ordered a 12" California Club with French bread. They toasted the bread to perfection. Wasn't super hard and crusty; I can't stand bread that cuts up my mouth. The meat, avocado, and sauce ratio was on point. It was an explosion of flavor in my mouth without feeling like I was drowning in sauce. I will definitely come by again for lunch. I highly recommend you to try it out!

Road trip Lunch stop - thanks fellow yelpers for the recommendation! I think that was the best subs we've ever had! Very unassuming from the road - totally worth the stop!

Only if there were more of these quality tasty sub shops around, go to Marysville there is room for you!!!

I work right across the street at the jiffy lube. Red Rock is usually my go to place for my lunches and I've gone here enough times to have filled out my first punch card. Free subs are pretty great! I love the service and the people are amazing! I've told everybody I know about this place and and that everybody should be going there.

The food is great but it's hard to focus on the food when I"m worried about everything around it. This place needs a face lift BADLY! in the summer flies are always around and i worry about how if they have landed on the food. The owner is sweet as heck but i just can't keep going back there with the condition the store is in.. Too many health risks.

Big plus for this place-they deliver! Today I got the chicken teriyaki and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The sauces were complimentary and absorbed appropriately into the bread. The pineapple on it were tidbits rather than rings. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, just different. Andrew got the Grecian and say he would probably order it again. He thought it needed more sauce and less cheese. He also doesn't like to have much cheese on his sandwiches.

Their subs stand alone and command a 5 star review. -1 star as they have loooong wait times. -1 star as they always seem to get things wrong. Usually small things (like toppings), but on my last visit they charged me $40 for a $25 order of 2 subs/drinks/chips. Like an idiot, I didn't read the receipt carefully and I didn't ask for copy, so I didn't notice the overcharge until it hit my bank account. They took over a week to track down my receipt and get back to me, but since it isn't itemized I have no proof of what I ordered, so they didn't give me any money back (can't say I blame them not believing a random customer). On the plus side, it definitely taught me to always ask for a receipt and always double check what I'm being charged, what if it was $140 instead of just $40!?

  • Kristi K.

Excellent subs. I am giving it 4 stars is because the punch cards only give you a 6" sandwich, which I find to be silly- [Between mine and my boyfriends 12" subs it is nearly $30 with a drink EACH visit. So it's not ever a free one for us, just a few dollars off. I know, I'm a greedy American, but seriously you need the extra half for later.] I also wish they were open later hours or sundays- but they charge enough to be closed when they want I suppose! It IS nice having a place near by that offers decent gluten free bread at a sandwich shop, but it is pricey for these delicious sandwiches. Pot roast is where it's at though!

This is great local sub sandwich shop! The pot roast sub with swiss and mushrooms is addicting! Staff is quick and kind. Only negative is a very limited amount of parking spaces. I will definitely come back for more!!!

I frequent this place often for lunch. I don't remember a time that I have visited and there wasn't a line almost out the door. I can't really speak for the entire menu because every time I go I seem to get a philly pot roast sub. The sandwich its self is amazing. However that amazing is hit or miss. I have went for that same sandwich and the meat wasn't warmed or they skimped me on it all together. But one thing is for sure when they get it right they get it right. Only other little thing that bothers me personally is that the staff working behind prep line sometimes verbally complains about work/other co workers. It's just not something I want to hear while waiting on my food. All that said this place is definitely worth a shot or two! LoL

  • Tucker M.

A sub shop that still takes pride in the art of sandwich making! This is not your shop with teenage kids repeating the script of what to say, how to act and how to put together the "sandwich"... I have come here 12 - 15 times in the last year and never once been even remotely been dissatisfied! No matter what sandwich... it's crack in a bun! ;)

Best sandwiches. Subway and Quiznos don't even compare. The vegitarian amd greecian are my favorite.

  • Shanoah P.

Most definitely a favorite place to stop in for an amazing sub! They have a great selection and they are speedy. The staff is friendly and attentive to detail, which is always a huge plus anywhere you go! Stop in to check it out!

I love red rock! Softest freshest bread and veggies. I will remain faithful for life to this place. Location is interesting but there is always someone or thing to watch while you eat. Service is usually pretty great with the exception of personal talk in front of customers. If they wanted to step it up I would say focus on building relations with your customers and to stand by the hours you guys post to the public. All in all I love red rock.

I live 4 blocks away from this great sub shop. I would say I've eaten here at least 15 times and 8 of those I got the Philly. I was so surprised to find this place right next door! The staff and owner have always been great to me, they have a great selection of sandwiches, and other items to choose from. I've never had a bad sandwich from here, and I love eating here. The reason I'm not giving it a 5-star (as much as I want to). I read about a few reviews commenting on the consistency of the subs, and like I said before about trying the Philly a few times before, I have to agree. There will be days where the Philly will be out-of-this-world good! I mean, best sandwich I've eaten. Then others where it's still good, but not like it was the last time. Obviously a lot of things contribute to this, but those days when it's not as good, a little disappointing. Another note, I would strongly recommend you try not to go here when it's peak hours. I say this because it's a small place, and they can only kick the subs out as fast as they can. They do a great job, but as other reviews mentioned, it opens up the possibility that your experience might be effected negatively. As far as price goes, expect to pay about 12$ for a Huge (12") 7-8$ for the 6". They do have a good punch card system if you go a lot though as well. Overall; Love this place. Will not stop going here. Try it out, go after the rush.

This my second time here. Unlikely area for a good sub shop. It's next to the county Compass Health building. A good sub is hard to find. The gals working behind the counter are nice too.

I really like the subs at this little, privately-owned, local, non-chain sub shop. The ingredients are fresh, the staff friendly, and the place comfortable to sit in or outside in warmer months. They are a little pricey compared to Quisnos or Subway but Quisnos and Subway are yucky!!! I like when comedian, Jim Gaffigan, commented on the smell of the bread at Subway and wondered of they cooked it in the dishwasher! Their bread rocks. (Red Rocks!) I have only ordered the white but it is fresh on the inside and has a chewy crust. I order the California Club, sliding all over itself sensually with sprouts, avocado, turkey, garlic aolie and deliciosityness (de-lish-OSS-i-tee-ness... I just made up that word) I also really like the Grecian. It's a Gyro on bread basically, and was the first item I ever tried here. The next week I went back because I was CRAVING one!! Note, they do toast their subs so If you prefer them cold please specify this if calling it in. The not-so-great is that parking SUCKS!!!!! They have about 4 or 5 spots in their lot and some additional parking on the street so if you park on Broadway watch for cars and busses a few feet from your face zooming past on their way to I-5. I also wish their hours here extended. They are closed Sundays and during the week they close at 7p.m.

  • Crystle W.

Tried this place for the first time when picking up lunch for my GF. It's a nice little spot off of Broadway which isn't the greatest area to be in. The people were friendly and inviting which is great! I guess they have a special for every day. When I went it was Tuesday and the specials were a Seafood salad sandwich and a tuna melt. I give them 4 stars because these are my least favorite sandwiches but there's was GREAT! The seafood salad sandwich had the small oregon bay shrimps with the fake crab meat and celery and onion with mayo on a soft croissant roll. It was really fresh pretty sure they just made and mixed it not scoop it out a bin that's been sitting like at Subway! For the location this isn't a place I would have picked myself so I am glad my GF insisted we try it out! After reading the reviews I want to try the pot roast now!

  • Mike I.

They got it right when they say they have 'Subs that ROCK!'. I am particularly fond of their pastrami sub, it is delicious! Subway has nothing on these guys (and gals). They also have some awesome fresh sauerkraut they use on their subs. I get it on the pastrami sub, it does not get much better than that. The people here are great and always greet you with a smile. They are a fairly popular place at lunch time though so be prepared to wait in line. The parking situation is not great either, but you can park in the gas stations lot next door and walk over. They are worth the extra parking hassle and the line, trust me.

  • E M.

Every time I get the pot roast sub I can't put it down long enough to talk. Silence abounds as our table today, as this is my boyfriend first time here and his sandwich is almost gone. If you haven't tried the Philly pot roast or the mushroom and swiss pot roast... Do it. Even the veggie subs are freaking fabulous.

  • Estelle M.

I was excited to try this place due to the great Yelp reviews. I always like to support a local business vs the big chains. Sadly I had a horrible experience that will prevent me from ever coming back here. I placed my order and sat down to wait. There were about 5-6 orders after me so we all waited patiently. I noticed that a couple of people who had ordered after me got their orders first, so I went up and asked if my order had been called. The lady told me that she saw that my sandwich was being made on the assembly line. A few more orders were completed and I ended up being the only customer left. The same lady who had told me that my sandwich was being made asked me what I had ordered. Clearly my order was somehow lost and they took a few more minutes to start assembling my sandwich. No one acknowledged that my order was skipped nor noticed how long I had waited. This ordeal spanned over 25 minutes! This was a waste of my lunch break and I had to rush back to work and scarf down my sandwich in my car. I guess the minimum of one star can go to the fact that my California Club was delicious. But their lack of concern and poor customer service is enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

  • Cindy R.

I tried their Club on wheat bread. The bread was toasted and the sandwich was perfect. Very nice and clean place inside. Then you go outside to a small covered area.. That too was very cool.

Red Rock subs is the only place to go for a sub in Everett. All the sandwiches are delicious and the staff is really nice.

Our first experience was bad, but it has been a year so we thought we would give them another try...if anything the second round was worse than the first. I was SUPER clear on the phone that I wanted my french dip with No mayo and No onions, so we talked at length as to which sandwich I should order, since they have a couple versions. But when it arrived it had TONS of gross hot mayo and onions anyways. The au jus was so salty, I thought I might try to water it down but decided the sandwich wasn't worth it after scraping off mayo and onions. The Rubens don't even come on rye bread, which is how it should be served. But the disappointment continued with the lack of horseradish and the flavorless meat. I will never again make the mistake of order there. The sandwiches are in the garbage and we are trying to figure out what to eat instead.

    (1)
  • Hollie L.

I've eaten here about 4 times now. The turkey and bacon sub is very good, but could use a little bit more mayo. I've also gotten the french dip with cheese and onions. The first time I got it, it had garlic mayo on it. It was pretty gross. I've never seen french dip with garlic mayo before. I decided to get the french dip with cheese and onions again, but this time I asked for some light horseradish sauce instead of garlic mayo. It made a world of a different. It was delicious, so that's how I'll be asking for it from now on. I suggest calling in advance to place your order, as it does take awhile for the sandwich to be made.

    (5)
  • Craig R.

You can't go wrong with the Kettle Roasted Turkey on French. If you like turkey, if you like garlic mayo, if you like grilled onions, and if you like cheese.... this IS the one you want. I'm a big guy 6'0" 260lbs, even the 6-inch was enough to fill me up at lunch time. Super friendly staff! And even when they're busy your order will be ready fast. I only wish they had another location down in Lynnwood or Shoreline.

    (5)
  • Danielle K.

Great subs! The service is amazing too! The lady at the front desk definitely knew what she was doing and was so sweet about it too. It was my first time there and she had no problem taking her time to explain the subs to me.

    (5)
  • Billy Ray V.

Pretty good sandwiches although some seem overpriced. Be prepared to wait for a while if you go during their lunch rush. I have had extremely rude service in the past - fortunately it was before I paid, so I left without eating. I didn't eat there for a few years after that happened. I have since gone back and the food is as good as I remembered.

    (4)
  • Erin O.

Well, the sandwiches are great, but take them to go! My clothes stink like kitchen after being in there for ten minutes. Please get better ventilation!

    (4)
  • Gerald B.

This place had the most tastiest sandwiches!!! The pot roast, California club, and the Turkey Melt are delicious. The local doesn't look like much and is easy to miss, but the food is amazing!! Do not pass it up!!! You won't regret it.

    (5)
  • David A.

Just try any sub, the way the make it. You will not, can not, regret it.

    (5)
  • Seth J.

These guys have some of the best sandwiches on the planet... Unfortunately they are so poorly managed, it's impossible to predict whether or not they'll have the supplies to make the one you want. One day the au jus will be out of this world and the next it will be a horribly diluted version of the previous days. The pity is they have this incredible product and they have no sense of how to maintain consistency. I quit coming when I showed up and found I had no sandwich do to the lack of sour dough. They'd not only run out of SD at lunch time, they also neglected to make me an alternative. Not having time to wait I had to go hungry. A well run business would have had something ready for me and offered it for a discount or free. These folks have no sense of how to run a business

  • Martin N.

My department at work orders from this place every so often. I have had the pot roast sub and the hot pastrami. While the sandwiches are very tasty, they are kind of small for the price. Not only that, but 2 of the 5 times we've ordered from them, the sandwiches have been mis-labeled when they arrived. Not a huge deal for me, since I'll eat whatever, but a few people were pretty upset to have paid for a sandwich, taken it with them to an off-site meeting, only to find out that they got the wrong sandwich because it was mis-labeled by the restaurant. Better than Subway, however, just with less veggie options. Sometimes I dream about these subs when it gets close to lunch time! I'd order from them again.

  • Rachael J.

Love, love, love! The sandwiches here are AWESOME! This place is super small and looks can be deceiving, but the sandwiches are soooo good! They also have delivery, I believe. The sandwiches are huge!

Best subs ive had on a while now. Small place but they have an outdoor seating deck. Friendly staff. California club is the bomb!!!

    (5)
  • Camille C.

Pot Roast sub is to die for. Really tasty, tender beef and there's something special that I can't put my finger on about their bread. I've honestly never had anything else, because this sandwich is so good. Place is cramped as is parking, but whatever. Food's great and the service is friendly.

    (5)
  • Barry S.

I don't say this lightly but I say it with ease...the Philly Pot Roast sub is one of the BEST SANDWICHES I have ever put in my face!!!

    (5)
  • Kinda Invisible S.

Sorry, Mom, your pot roast doesn't compare to the beef in the original pot roast sub here. Holy cow was it delicious!! My BF had an Italian sub and loved it as well. Super-friendly gal behind the counter, pretty quick service, and overall a happy place to discover. Knocked off a star because it's a crummy hole-in-the wall with sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot (which, yes, I realize isn't necessarily the establishment's issue, but I would be remiss if I didn't say something about the building and surroundings). It won't hold me back, though. I'll be back again and again!!

  • Paul S.

Simply the best. I cant have a sub anymore if it isn't a redrock sub

  • Jordyn P.

My family and I are from out of town. We have been extremely disappointed by the slow service in Everett in General. We tried this place because we had a terrible experience at subway. Red rocks was a breath of fresh air. The people were so friendly and speedy! But most importantly... All our meals were delicious! If your in town you have to try this place! YUM!

    (5)
  • Zabrina G.

I normally don't like to eat out at sub shops but this was well worth the money. Super friendly staff, great menu!! I got the Chicken Cesar sub hold the tomatoes add bacon on French bread! Super yummy!! And the patio on a warm sunny day is awesome!!

  • Justina R.

Great sandwiches! We always get the kettle roasted turkey sandwich and it's absolutely amazing!

  • Holly L.

Love the pot roast subs!!! I've tried a few of the others, they're all really good, I just keep going back to the original pot roast on sourdough.

2 hours late and forgot dressing. Tried to make I tight but gave us undercooked chicken breast this time

  • Cale A.

Tried this place on a whim and boy was I glad I did! They don't try and throw complicated sandwiches at you with crazy ingredients, they win you over with plain old quality. From the bread, cheese, to the meat it was just delicious. Even their prices are on par with typical sub shops. I'll never go to a Quiznos or subway again!

When I moved here from St. Louis in 2010 there was one major thing missing... A delicious sandwich shop. Back home it was always Mr. Goodcents. I loved that place. The recent addition of Jimmy John's near the house was also awesome but I keep going back to Red Rock. They're close to work and I won't say convenient due to the parking situation but it's not too bad. The important part is the food. I really love their sandwiches. They give you a great value and a variety of options. I prefer the sourdough bread but I'll go with the French roll when it makes sense. The Sicilian sandwich is pretty bomb. I tried a turkey melt today and it was delicious. They also gave me a 12" when I ordered 6" so that always helps keep customers happy. :) A lot of people from my work order delivery and it's always quick and the drivers are friendly even when we're the ones running late.

Fantastic subs. Looks like a hole in the wall and location isn't great, but the food makes up for it. I had the club and it was great.

these ladies make the best sub in Everett

    (4)
  • Jerri S.

Love the California Sub. Sometimes they are out of avocado which is the highlight of this sandwich. I tend to double check my order because of diet constraints, to be such that they have left off the ingredients that I don't want. We always eat on site so it is easy to have sandwich corrected when ever there is an error. Because of the occasional error I reduced by one star. The Sub is outstanding although a bit pricy.

  • Joshua P.

love this place the sandwiches are amazing my favorite it the ruben and it is to die for, my only qualm is the delivery, I always seem to miss the last call, whether it is 5:45 or 6:15 I always seem to be just a minute too late for delivery. the times seem to change daily.

Always delicious! I always go with the California club and it never fails. Been going here for a while and never been disappointed.

Never had food from here before, but co-workers loved it. So I ordered the Turkey Melt on Sourdough, no tomato, no cheddar, add onion, add havarti. Got tomato, anyway. Got such a paucity of onion that I'm not sure why they bothered. And the cloying garlic mayo? Ugh. Nasty. And it makes the bread completely soggy, which just increases the nastiness. There was supposed to be Dijon on the sandwich, as well, but it's either not there or the garlic mayo completely overpowers it. Also ordered a cheese garlic bread. Yeah, their idea of that is to slather that nasty garlic mayo on bread and then cover it with cheddar cheese. Mayo on garlic cheese bread? No thanks. I will say that the amount of meat was good and they give you a full foot-long, but if you don't care for the sandwich, that's really not a plus. (They also forgot a coworker's macaroni salad in the delivery order, so there's that, as well.) I'm sure my co-workers will eat here again, but I'll pass, thanks. I'd rather have Subway.

  • Jessica R.

Ok.... the Signature Sub (Pot Roast) is amazing.... I highly recommend this little whole in the wall sub shop.... I was introduced by one of my co-workers and I have to say I may be following her SUB ADDICTION this place is soooooooo good.... Clean, the family works and owns the business...down to earth good home made grub!

    (5)
  • Coupon K.

No, you won't get a $5 footlong here. But instead you get the best sub in the area. The chicken teriyaki on French is absolutely delicious. REAL chicken slices, melted cheese, caramelized onions, pineapple, garlic mayo, lettuce, tomato, sauce. Oh my, its chicken sub perfection. Hubby likes the club, and the pot roast is a justified splurge. Also yummy and excellent. Get the 12 inch and save half for the next day. It will save you a trip back to Red Rock because you will start cravin these amazin subs!

  • Andrea H.

Wow! I came across this place via a nurse at the Everett Clinic (Naomi). I happened to be getting a MUGA done and she was ordering for lunch. She told me how fabulous this place was. Needless to say, my husband and I went directly to Red Rock after my test was finished. We ordered one 12 inch original pot roast sandwich and took it home. It smelled sooooo good on the drive home. When we finally got to eat it, it did not disappoint. All the rave reviews Naomi gave this sandwich was well placed. I have to say it is the best hot sandwich I have ever had outside of my mother's home. I know that we will be heading back to try their other yummy sounding sandwiches when we are in town and maybe as a special treat for ourselves. It will be hard to top the pot roast though. Their staff was very friendly as well even though they were busy! Thank you Naomi for the tip and thank you Red Rock Subs for being so good!

  • Jose C.

The crew I work with ordered 20 plus subs. Half were French dip. Very disappointed in the sub. It consisted of 2 pieces of roast beef and bread. And the dip was like beef broth watered Down. Never again

Fantastic food. Totally original ideas, and it all feels homemade. Just went there for the first time last week, but I'll definitely be back!

Masterful sub design. Bread is darn tasty! Garlic mayo is the secret weapon that I love! I always get the hawaiian with ham n pineapple! A sandwich with personality! Love goes into these subs. Always great service and efficient employees. :) bacon cheddar potatoe ssalad is my second love here... give em a try just wish they were open a tad later than 7... still worth it!

So, my company called an order in at 11:15 am today for 6 subs and I was very clear on where we were. I made sure the order total was over the $50 minimum and they told me to give them an hour for the delivery and it is now 12:56 pm and we still have no sandwiches. When I called them and asked about our order Ellain gets on the phone because the one who answered was new and didn't know the complaint procedure. Ellain is supposed to be a manager but when I told her the situation she tells me she is getting ready to send the delivery guy out right now. I told her we wont have time to eat the food because you guys failed to follow through when you said you would. She offers to "throw in some dessert". I told her we barely have time to eat the sandwich so why would dessert be helpful in our situation. She apologized many times but refused to compensate us in any way for their lack or respect for our lunch time. My company spends allot of money with them but this will be the last time we order from them. We tried to keep the money in the community and this is how we get treated? No thanks!

Tried this place last night for the 1st time. Plus side: The bread is amazing. Negative: The service. The lady behind the counter was rude. My husband asked if they do a kids sub. She snapped back with "No, we don't do kids subs, do the build your own." Um OK. It was a simple question no need to be rude. My husband seemed to enjoy the sub he got as well as my sister in law. I had the french dip and it was less than thrilling. The Au ju was incredibly salty. I am not sure that I will go back after the service and prices. I think I'll stick to Quiznos.

Location could be better but the food is worth every inconvenience and every penny. I always stop by here when im in the area! Worth the stop, you wont be disappointed!

$6 = 6" Pot roast philly styled sandwich on french bread...totally yummy-ness. Oh service was quick and friendly. I definitely plan to drop by again for lunch possibly eat there instead of getting take out as it had a nice cozy feel to it. There is also outdoor seating available which is perfect for this time of year. ~G

I've come here a couple times now since my work place catered with them for lunch, and I loved their veggie sub. The veggie sub comes with sprouts, avocado, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, multiple cheeses, garlic mayo, Dijon mustard, just all around a really quality veggie sub! The bread was also really great, not stale or cardboardish, but fresh. The downside is that I only get the 6 inch, because a footlong here costs about 10 bucks, which is a bit much for a sandwich, even one as awesome as this one, and frankly a 12 inch sub here is A LOT of food. Would be nice if they had a 9 inch option, but alas. Also, the parking here is pretty cruddy, it's definitely a bit of a puzzle figuring out where and how to park, so that you can exit the premises without getting t-boned by traffic on Broadway. The outdoor patio here is very nice though! Except when the Broadway creepers stroll by and stare at you.... at least you have Plexiglas to protect you! In all seriousness the food is pretty damn good and I love eating on the outdoor patio when it's nice out, but the location and the pricing/size options keep it from being 5 stars.

Always good, fresh food and friendly service. The perfect place to pick up a quick load for the office at month end...title and escrow is too busy to eat so I try to offer to pick up food for them, and there are always hungry people who appreciate it. And of course I grab mine while I'm there! I opt for the chef salad but today one of the closers had the chicken Ranch salad which looked really good. Next time I'm trying that and will get out of my rut. Oh, did I mention they bake their own croutons? Well, of course they do!

The couple times I've been here have not impressed me. It's incredibly expensive and honestly, I prefer Subway. When you order two six inch subs, a drink and a bag of chips, it should not be over $20. The couple sandwiches I've had had minimal meat and fillings, and were really bread-y. Also, getting out of their parking lot is a nightmare if you're not going south on Broadway. For some reason, Cam really likes this place, but I have yet to understand why.

I absolutely loved the California Club Sub! Amazingly fresh bread, meats and everything else, a little on the pricey side, but more than worth it, I think what made this Deli the best was the fact that ALL the staff was extremely friendly. The sandwich of course was divine!

Phenomenal sandwiches. Fantastic service. Heading from seat tac to Vancouver with two soccer teams of 16-18 yr old boys. Called from about 40 minutes away with the order, they were ready. Great sandwiches, huge--boys were filled! Way better than a subway sandwich. Easy access from freeway. Family owned. Can't get much better.

First time here, and I am impressed. I saw this place and thought I would give it a go. Boy am I glad I did. I tried the California club on Sourghdough and it was fantastic. The bread, the foundation of any sub, was sublime, the cheese went perfect with the nice thick layer of sliced turkey breast and big chunks of avacado lay nestled in a bed of sprouts with Garlic may and dijon mustard rounding out the dressings. I practically inhaled it and wished I had ordered the huge size, although my waistline is glad I did not. Going back to the bread again, the sourghdough was not a thick crusted French style bread but more of an Italian style bread, it really had a nice sourdough bite and I can still taste it as I write this review more than 2 hours later, and that is a good thing. So what kept me from 5 stars??? Well the building is a bit old and dilapidated (but clean) and parking is poor and the girls (This place seems to be run by an all female crew) could all be a bit more friendly. But hey if they make a killer sandwich I will put up with a Soup Nazi for it. I will DEFINITELY come here again soon and if there other menu items rock like the Cali Club I had today they will be getting bumped up to 5 stars.

The greatest sandwich in the world is their pot roast sub. Messy, juicy goodness! The rest of the menu is on par with other delis I guess. You gotta try the pot roast and you'll never order anything else there. Their parking lot is small and hard to get in/out of. Most of us park at the gas station next door.

The Young Ladies of Red Rock Subs are the hands down the Goddesses of Cool. Great FRESH Ingredients, Breads and Attitudes. They are a fine looking bunch too! Been going here for 6 years and only once was l disappointed when they were out of avocado during the great avocado drought of 2008. Top Sandwiches every time, take that Subway. Not the cheapest, but worth the price. More adults who care about great fresh food eat here daily. Parking is redrocksubs.com tough, so call ahead to save time. Close to Downtown and Courthouse area. You will become a regular once you try Red Rock Subs. They ROCK!!! redrocksubs.com

The hot sandwiches here are to die for. Get the Kettle Roasted Turkey or the Pot Roast. They also have some desserts (I forget the names, but they are bars) that are outta this world. The cold sandwiches are good, but not worthy of 5 stars or anything. The place is a little divey - it could be cleaner - and the parking is a hassle. Worth going to for the hot subs though!

A solid French dip. Probably better than you get at most chain sandwich places. I found portion size to be on the small side, dissuaded by the "huge" size (and price), I went for the small. Maybe 4 oz. of roast beef.

If you are in the mood for Huge Signature Sub Sandwiches made with Fresh Ingredients from a Super Sweet and Caring Team... Then look no further then Red Rock Subs. Initially tried them out on a whim and they are literally my "Go-To" place whenever I have a Sub Craving. I haven't tried each Signature Sub on their Menu because once you try one, you get hooked and its a difficult feat to try and try something new even though you know that the results will be positive. For anyone that's trying out Red Rock for the first time I highly recommend their Original Pot Roast Sub. I don't know what Brand they use for their Pot Roast but you can tell from the taste and texture that they actually care about the Quality. "The Sicilian" or "Cali Club" are both MUST TRY sandwiches and you'll see what I mean about taking Sub Sandwiches to the Next Level. They also have Freshly Made Soup(s) of the Day (Be on the Lookout for their Crab Bisque) and a Variety of Salad Choices... Not to mention that any of their Signature Subs can be made as a Salad instead. Honestly though, talking about their Menu and how much I vouch that these Subs ROCK, can only do so much. In a place like this the best thing you can do is Try them out and see for yourself. Cause if words like Consistency, Value, Quality, and Fresh matter to you when it comes to your food, then you will NOT be disappointed. Red Rock Subs... Sub Sandwiches held at a Higher Standard. I've had a few sandwiches from here. The Hawaiian is superb and the pot roast is extremely tender. Love the fresh bread and I'm always greeted as if I'm a long time friend. This is one of my favorite places to hit up in Everett.

  • Bruce B.

Pricey, but the sandwich was good and an honest foot long. The soup was too thick and over salty. I usually only write a review to either rave or rake. Just felt like doing one for this place. Previous reviews noted the lousy parking and that you have to go with a right turn only out of it. I found that to be the case for me as well. If the food is really really good I don't care about stuff like that. I will go back and try their signature Pot roast sub and if it is good enough I could see going after that. If not I will never eat there again.

Hands down the BEST pot roast sammich ever! One of my favorite places to go for lunch. They have great daily specials and a sandwich punch card. They have dine in, pick up and delivery so it couldn't get much better than that!

Great food! I have so many favorite like mushroom swiss pot roast, hawaiian and BLT. Most of the sauces, goodies and soups are made from scratch. I love the serviceand most of all their french bread lol. The only thing thatgept me from giving 5 stars is that they need a much bigger place. The mom and pop shop has just gotten too big with all of their loyal customers.

Subs that rock indeed. Hearty, meaty, fresh veggied, massive subs. Great variety of daily soups, fresh home made salads and subs that you may need to get in a to go box if you are dining in. Comfortable atmosphere with a friendly staff. You can tell this place is loved by the owner and the pride shows through in the quality. Their breads are mouth watering. And I've noticed they slice they're own meats and cheeses. The best is getting to taste test if you walk in at the right time when they are preparing their perfected salads and soups. I hear it called their "Quality Check", far from needed but anything to get a snippet of their deliciousness... By far my favorite sub shop. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

My #1 sub shop in the NW. Teriyaki Chicken Sub is my fave. Hawaiian is amazing. The pot roasts are huge. Always fresh baked goods and fresh macaroni and potato salads! Been going here for years. You'll love the owner too! She's a doll!

  • Nona L.

Amazing subs! Their signature pot roast sub is too good to be called a sub. I don't know what to call it other than amazingly delicious. My son had the same reaction to the pastrami, and my husband said his Italian sub was the best sandwich he could remember. I talked to the pleasant ladies running the place, and they said they had been open 11 years. My only complaint is why didn't I find them before??

These guys have the best pot roast sandwiches , great French bread.

  • Ben B.

Been there twice , and not impressed. Not a bad sandwich, but a little pricey for what you get. The older lady in charge (owner?manager?) was kinda brisk and not real friendly both times, and I'm a pretty easy customer. This kind of thing matters to me , especially when it comes from the top, as opposed to just a sullen employee . I'm not big on paying sit-down meal prices for fast food (and yes , subs are fast food , even if they are healthier than burgers and fries) unless it's something really special , so this place is not going to get much play from me. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, just that I can do better value-wise at a dozen other places within a mile or two. On that note..... God I miss Alligator Soul !!!! I suppose if you are a HUGE Subway or Quiznos fan , this place might rock your world a bit , even if it did cost you a few more bucks. If you are a big sub fan, give it a shot....

After tasting you immediately know that sa lot of love and care goes into prepping the pot roast. Very very comforting...and so is the crew and seating area. First timers shud order the original pot roast with cheddar on French roll.

Totally love Red Rock subs and all that they do! The have a HUGE variety of sandwiches and salads to choose from and every one I've tried is fresh and delicious every time! Red Rock Subs also delivers for a $10 minimum and that is very popular at my work. We've used them for catering many times and they always come through with something yummy that makes everyone in the meeting happy! It feels like a mom and pop shop when you step inside their shop and they take very good care of their customers. I highly recommend them over some other sub shop chain!

  • Carly S.

The sandwiches are good, everything seems very fresh, and the sourdough bread is super yummy!!! However, I've never had good customer service there. I've been in 4 times within the month and it seems like all the employees would rather be any place else. They all seem very grumpy and boarder on being straight rude. I always feel as though I'm bothering them when I walk in ready to order, which makes no sense. I do like the eating area, and they deliver, which I loooove but they are just as rude on the phone as they are in person.

  • Kristine J.

The best sandwiches in town. I have NEVER been disappointed. They prep their veggies every day. No bagged lettuce or veggies. Macaroni salad is just like Grandma made. Awesome fresh bread. Chef salad is awesome too!! They deliver locally. The only bad is the parking, well getting out of the lot is hard. I just park at the gas station/convenience store next door & run in & buy a big bag of chips or some drinks or get gas & hopefully they don't mind if I park in their "no parking here"zone while running in to grab my sandwich to go.

We really enjoyed the food here! The sour dough bread was amazing! Huge sandwiches and many menu choices. Homemade cookies too! The owners and staff were very friendly, and the place had a nice atmosphere! Thank You!

These are seriously good subs which put the chain sub shops to shame. By volume, their 6-inch sub comes close to the 12-inch sandwiches of others, which more than makes up for any price differential. The bread is unbelievably delicious and the other ingredients are of good quality and ample. I discounted them one star, as the eating area could have been kept cleaner. But as a "to-go" review it would have deserved all five stars. Also note that they do close a bit earlier, at 7:00pm, than a lot of other places.

  • Mick S.

These subs are killer. They are huge. I can just about eat the "giant" size but I think the half size is sufficient (I usually put down a full subway). There are several tasty subs, I usually get the California because i likes the avocado and sprouts. Probably not the healthiest subs around. Service is good. I have eaten in here and it has been really, really cold. They seem to be doing much better, a few years back they had quite an issue with running out of ingredients. A little pricey, but people will pay for it!

The parking lot is a negative, but you can park on the street all along that block which I think I will start doing. The food is very good - the pot roast sub is meaty and delicious, my husband's favorite. I love the vegetarian, my usual order, but did try the decadent Grecian once. The bread is good and I like that you can also order any of the subs as a salad. Their sides are good too. Prep time is quick, so I never bother to call ahead, and the staff are friendly and efficient.

There are mostly pros and a few cons about Red Rock. My office is very close by, so I go there pretty frequently and receive their specials fax every morning. The specials they offer daily, usually two varieties of sub, are a good deal. Red Rock is a little on the pricey side for the type of food they serve. A 6" sub is $4.99 and it can sometimes look a little small. Don't be fooled, though, whatever you try will be delicious! I often get the turkey melt, BLT, or club subs. I am also a fan of their sub as a salad, a salad made including meats, vegges, spices and sauces from one of the subs on their menu. The turkey cranberry and cream cheese sub, a special they offer from time to time, is particularly delicious on a bed of salad greens- and their salad greens are full of romaine and other delicious varieties of lettuce, not just iceberg. Their soups are quite tasty but I feel they are too expensive. A small soup, which is approximately 1 cup, costs $2.49, and I find it leaves me hungry if I don't eat something with it. Their occasional deal of garlic cheesy bread and a cup of soup is great- the small soup with the 6" cheese mayo sub, basically, is very filling (and only $3.99!). The bucket size is $4.29, more expensive than the daily sub special, but it fills me up quite nicely. There are also several little side salads available that are all delicious and will help fill up your tank; the seafood salad and macaroni salad are my favourites. You can also find fresh baked desserts like cookies and cookie bars that are rotated pretty often, so there is always something new to try. In summary: + great, fresh ingredients like whole, fresh veggies and fresh baked breads + generally very friendly staff + variety of subs that seem to all be mouthwatering + they have a stamp reward card: buy 10 sandwiches and you get one free! - parking can be extremely inconvenient. this place is very popular, and has only 4 spaces on Broadway +/- they deliver, but it can take up to an hour

like most of the reviews for red rock I agree, the women who work here are usually rude and they don't seem to enjoy their jobs. I have had plenty of lousy service here, luckily for them they have the best sub around. I used to get the california until someone told me to try the pot roast. Now I am hooked and will only order the pot roast. The bread is soft and chewy, it doesn't fall apart. The meat is awesome. I agree prices are steep but these sandwiches are worth it, I just get sodas from the minimart next door to avoid a 20 dollar lunch

Against my better judgment a friend talked me into eating at Red Rock this Summer. The area is not the best, a lot of vagrants mulling about and the parking sucks. It doesn't look that appealing from the outside. On the upside the sandwiches are the best. I typically order the vegetarian sub, it's a little different because they use garlic mayonnaise and artichoke hearts. It's very substantial for a vegi sub. The service has always been excellent, very friendly and fast. I love this little place.

This place is kind of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the ingredients are great. The quality is far better than the chain sandwich stores. It's cute and cozy for dining inside. The selection is very good. The location is convenient. On the negative side: Yes, there is a middle-aged woman who is on the rude side. She doesn't smile or say thank you or even make eye contact. Unless she is the owner, she needs to go. If she's the owner, she needs to learn some people skills! It is a turn off, and they lost a star simply for that. Another star gone for the lack of meat on the sandwiches. Seriously, very little meat. For the price of the sandwiches I expected them to be meaty. I don't even really like meat and I was disappointed. I got the French Dip, so there was nothing but the meat on my sandwich, and there was about 1/8" of meat. My money would have been better spent at Arby's. My husband got the California Club. His looked delicious, but still there was a lack of meat. It looked good because it had the veggies on it. Another negative is the parking. We had no trouble getting in the lot - getting out was another story. Think about that before you pull in. Bottom line: If you want high quality ingredients and don't care if you get protein/meat and if you are treated like a valued customer, this is your place. If you want to be treated nice, get average quality ingredients, and get your money's worth, go to Subway. Will we visit again? Probably. I'll give them one more shot to impress me.

You've hit the jackpot if you've found this place. Great veggie sub and huge. You'll forget all the other sub shops immediately.

The food was pretty good. They were out of white bread, so they only had wheat and sour dough... Which I feel like made it just not as enjoyable as it could of been. In my opinion a little over priced but not a bad place to have a bite. I'd have it again... Maybe.

I have to be in the mood for a sandwich in order to really enjoy it, but my boss at work bought everyone subs from Red Rock last week, and even though I wasn't in a sandwichy mood, I'm not one to turn down free food. I opted to try the grecian on Red Rock's homemade sourdough bread. Soooo good! All the sub innards were fresh and flavorful. The tzatziki sauce was delicious! I got a "6 inch," but it was more like a fatty 8 inch (that's what she said). I know that this place is more expensive than Subway, but the quality is worth it in my opinion. I will be back to try their other stuff.

  • Russ H.

Awesome tasty subs, super nice (and sassy) employees. Parking is sparse, but well worth it. The menu is fairly expansive and everything is fresh. I wish they had more vegetarian options, but they have a build-your-own, which always keeps me happy.

I don't buy sandwiches often, but when I'm in Everett and need somthing quick for lunch, this is the place I go to. My regular is the California Club. Their potato salad and macaroni salad are pretty solid. The staff are always friendly. But I do notice that every now and they they'll be out of certain ingredients, nothing to throw a fit over, but enough to know your sandwich is missing somthing.

  • Beth R.

One of the best sandwich places I have ever been too. Soooo yummy!!! I sometimes go with my boyfriend after school and we will share a 12 inch sub. Our favorite is probably the Hawaiian, but no matter what you get, its going to be good! You can make your own too, choose what you want on it. Overall their prices are pretty good, anywhere from $5 to $10 (depending on the type and size of sandwich) For the quality of their food, its definitely worth the price. Everyone is very friendly and I really enjoy this place :)

  • P D.

You can't beat the Red Rock for the Pot Roast sandwiches. For a general sub I'm happy to go with your average sub chain but if you're looking for a meaty, juicy hunk of down home in a roll...here ya go. The parking does suck (try parking in the gas station next door, much safer getting in and out) and the older woman that works there (or owns it) might be the identical twin of the soup nazi but all that aside...it's worth it. I get it to go.

  • Mark B.

Stopped in today and not impressed at all... I was the only customer there and the place was a mess,,,veggies all over the floor, every table was dirty, and 3 employees standing around. I think the new employee made my sandwich,,,every time I asked a question, the older middle age woman would answer it for her,,,very awkward. I think the girl has never made a sandwich before,,,she was struggling. I ordered the Sicilian,,,who puts roast beef on an Italian sandwich? and havarti? They ran it thru a conveyor oven but my sandwich wasn't even toasted or warm. The french bread looked/tasted like Safeway bread. Everything about this sandwich was terrible,,,tasted like the sandwiches that are wrapped in plastic at the grocery store that are all bread and no meat. I should have kept going when I saw the empty parking lot... EDIT: and to top it all off,,,it made me sick and had me on the toilet for the better part of 4 hours,,,,Thanks for getting me sick Red Rock!!

Not bad. I believe you get a good value for your money. I had the ham and cheese and it was good but had way too much mustard and mayo. I'd get it on the side next time. $5.50 for a foot long with chips is a good deal. It wouldn't be the first place I'd pick, but I'd be happy to go back.

  • N R.

Great sandwiches, great prices. Wish it had more seating but it is perfect If you want it to go. They are very friendly and make the sandwiches very quickly. Every day they have two sandwiches on special. One is 4.99 an one is 3.99. They change every day and it's a great deal. My favorite sandwich shop in Sno county.

  • Michael G.

Red Rock is about everything that you could ask for from a sub shop. They have good soups, salads, and subs. Many items are made from scratch. There is plenty to choose from. I also like that any sandwich can be made into a salad at the customer's request. The only thing that I would like is for there to be more seating, however, most people seem to order lunch to go. The prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly.

Best macaroni salad in the world! They use chunks of cheddar cheese like it should be made! I specifically stop by here to stock up on the macaroni salad when I'm in the area.

  • Danielle S.

I really like the sandwiches at this place. Their bread is good, and the meat and veggies are always fresh. However, recently there is middle-aged woman who works there who is making me rethink going back. She's rude, impatient, and messy at assembling the sandwiches. Her overall demeanor makes it obvious she doesn't want to be there, and her appearance makes me think she'd be more at home in a nail shop or a tanning salon. The younger girls who work there are always polite and good at making the sandwiches, but it seems like she's always there with them too. I would give this place 4 - 5 stars, but that lady is bringing their score down.

This is hands down the best sub shop I have ever been to- in any area. The bread is absolutely incredible; you have your choice of fresh, homemade wheat, sourdough, or french. All three are amazing, I can never pick a favorite. On top of the amazing bread are wonderful, fresh, ingredients. When they say avocado, this means fresh, sliced avocado, no green-goo mush or guacamole-esq paste. All of the sandwiches are fantastic, wonderful combinations. Even better, Red Rock is very reasonably priced for the quality. I recently moved to Seattle and drive to Everett just to get the vegetarian sub from Red Rock. Absolutly fantastic.
