We liked and wanted to support this restaurant because it's a family-run business. The mother is always cheerful and friendly. However, our most recent experience will most likely not entice us to return anytime soon. Two words: Loud and Slow. The bar and restaurant are divided by a half wall. It's obvious they have some regular bar patrons. Tonight, they were extra loud and obnoxious...making a nice quiet dinner impossible. We could hear their conversation and constant laughter clearly the entire time. We were one of 3 dining parties so it was not busy. However, our entrees took a long time to arrive. The $6 chicken skewer came with 1 skewer which was skimpy. My clam linguini was swimming in olive oil. Just like my first review, the linguini pasta was spaghetti and not linguini, so they must have just one kind of pasta but call it by different names. Our total tab for 3 came to about $90. For that kind of money, I think we can find an establishment with better atmosphere and quicker service. 7/24/14 Wow! To read the owner's response to my review was shocking. What a sarcastic and ungrateful attitude! Last I checked, tipping was optional and at my discretion. Even with his play by play, we waited for our entrees for quite some time. We had to flag down the mom to take our entree orders and him to give us our bill. Both times, they were busy chatting with the "regulars". I'm not the only reviewer who felt service was slow - just read some of the recent filtered reviews. For his information, this is the 4th time we've been to Denallis after our Livingsocial deal so his "bummer" comment was totally uncalled for. Listening to intoxicated patrons repeating stories and spewing off f-bombs is not our idea of a good time. He obviously thinks his restaurant can do no wrong. If that was the case, it would be way busier than what we've seen during the times we've been there.

Kathy is the sweetest! Great food! Amazing hummus and the avocado beet salad was spectacular!

Portions could be bigger. Drinks were poured strong enough... this is good. The staff seemed a little too busy on a Friday night. There is an art to being busy, and yet taking the time to talk to your customer and get it done right.

This place is just fantastic. Some of the best and friendly service I've ever had. The food is just so good! I got the Mediterranean Chicken gyro and I seriously want to eat that at least once a week. I will definitely be coming back.

We came in tonight for the first time and were very, very impressed. Our waitor, Gill was truly fantastic and very helpful. The food was good (I really like the tapas menu as it allows you to sample many things on the menu), the drinks were stiff, they have some really good quality wines, and it's fairly quiet. We will definitely be returning.

Really tasty. I looked for a local restaurant in my brother's new neighborhood and we chose this place because of the reviews. Service was friendly and fast. Food was quite good. Caesar had cold crisp romaine, home made croutons, and a couple tomatoes on the side...nice addition. Lemon yoghurt chicken was flavorful. Brother had surf and turf and he complimented the taste as well. Drinks - perfect lemon drop to accompany the DELICIOUS Limoncello cake. Good prices....we will be back!!!!

If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would! Saw all the good reviews thought I would eat there. Wow! The appetizer was so good, Kalamata, tomato bruschetta. Caesar salad, awesome dressing, enough dressing, great small croutons. For the entree I thought I would be daring and get the Calamari steak, have to be a vey good Chef to get this right. It was excellent! Then for dessert I had the Tiramisu (which most restaurants do not make right) this Tiramisu was very, very good. The waitress was very friendly and later the owner-chef came out and asked how the Calamari was, then he served me the dessert. The restaurant was very clean and cheerful. My gosh I have never written such a great review, the deserve it!

I'm hoping that in posting this that the owners will read and fix any problems we had with our visit. First off, loved the ambiance of the restaurant. It was very stylish and the family that owns and runs this place were welcoming and very informative. The food was d'lish. THOUGGGHHHHHHH, our proteins were seriously over cooked. I'm a cook and culinary school graduate, I mean it when I say that both our salmons were over cooked. The steak entree that a person in my party had wasn't quite med-rare. If they could just work on this, it would be awesome. Due to the outstanding service we received I would go back, and highly recommend this place to a friend.

We shouldn't have waited this long to give this restaurant a try. They are simply awesome in many ways. Excellent service, yummy dessert, super tasty appetizers and great entries. Biggest issue coming here was that I ate too much :)!!! We will definitely be back again.

Family owned with great service and food! We were fortunate to be driving by Evergreen Way and we happen to notice that a new Mediterranean restaurant opened up so the first chance we got we went in and let me say we were very happy that we did. The decor is very nice inside, even though its unfinished but has great potentials to be so much more. I enjoyed that the lighting wasn't so bright and i think if they added music it'll really go with the ambiance of the place rather than listening to the TV. Our waiter was very helpful. He took the time to explain the history of their family in the restaurant business and how they've been in it for 30 yrs, but took a 10yrs break learning different cuisines and honing their culinary skills. The chef went out of his way to explain the items in the menu we had questions on and was very detailed. We really appreciated the time they took to make us feel comfortable about the items we ordered. At the end we went with the Mediterranean flat bread as an appetizer, it was delicious! It tasted soOO fresh and the ingredients all meshed together perfectly. For our main entree we ordered the Sauteed Calamari Steak and the chef was not kidding when he said the Calamari was textured like a steak. It was very hearty and i was really impressed that it didn't taste like seafood, but rather a protein. The seasoning and the homemade basil cream sauce really made the dish, especially the olive caper. The other entree we ordered was the Grilled Lemon Yogurt Chicken. It did come out overcooked, but it was still good. However, we mentioned it to our waiter and he insisted to bring us out a new dish even though we told him he didn't have to. The new plate of chickens came out perfect and it was soOOo tender and amazing. We came out of there very full and content. The only thing i would recommend was perhaps more Mediterranean dish in their Entree selection or even a weekly or daily special because they cook so well I'm sure they can make all their Mediterranean dishes taste superb!

I came here on a Friday night with a friend because someone at work had suggested it . We showed up at 6pm. The place was empty. No worries, faster service. I had the clams linguini and my friend had yogurt chicken. The food was fab. I even had one of the $10 for $20 Yelp coupons, which they honored. We each had three drinks. When our bill came it was $98 with the Yelp coupon! What? He had double charged us for our drinks. After pointing out the mistake, he corrected the bill with no issue but still...the place was empty, no reason for that kind of mistake. Even though the food was good, I won't be back.

What a pleasant surprise in Everett ! Work in Seattle, having to come to Everett a few times a month. Wish this place with very friendly, clean, and fresh ingredients was in my hood!!! I will go out of my way to come here. I had the prime rib house cooked dip sandwich for lunch with House salad that was simple but very good instead of fries. Some of the best food I've had for price Was here on Thursday during lunch. It was empty but for a couple tables, unbelievable in my option! Happy hour starts at 2pm and they have Tapas that I would love to try. Go before they get 'discovered' Plus, I would like a place that makes good food be a success ! See you there next time I'm north of Boeing fwy and evergreen way..... Hope next time I can upgrade to a 5* It's that good!

Can't say enough great things about this place! It's a family owned spot specializing in cuisine with a Mediterranean flare. They have an amazing happy hour daily and you can watch the games in their cozy bar. Dennis is one of the owners and is always quick to greet you with a smile and refill your wine:) His mother is often there too and really makes you feel like you're dining at a friend's house. I highly recommend you pay them a visit! The food and service are amazing!

I went here for the first time the other day and parking is very limited but I still found a spot with no problem! The people who work here are so nice! Service was great and the food was affordable and delicious. The fried cheesecake dessert was amazing! !! I can't wait to go back.

love this place. it might just look like another hole in the wall in Everett. it's low key friendly and has a nice big corner booth to grab for great food and some drinks with friends. I have eaten here a few time and never been burned on anything that i have ordered, including when i asked for a blue rib-eye and it was made perfectly. I almost forgot to praise the amazing staff. everyone is super nice and there is always a super sweet older gal working around the place, she always comes up remembers us and just really makes sure that everything is perfect.

We tried this based on Yelper's ratings and comments. All the positive comments are accurate: food, service and atmosphere. We shared a fruit flatbread, Caprese salad, and the Hercules bites and I cannot say my favorite. Flavors were light but full of flavor. Yum. A great find in Everett.

We went here on New Years Eve and it was wonderful! My friend had heard good stuff about it so we decided to check it out. We did a dinner of tapas, and they did not disappoint. Excellent service-- they were very helpful with ordering, and didn't push anything. Definitely try the deep fried pickle chips, which I thought sounded strange, but were delicious! I intend to go back soon and try other menu items, it all sounds great!

We noticed this place when we drove by it after getting our taxes done about a month ago. I remembered it when looking online for a Greek restaurant to dine at tonight, so we gave it a try. It's an unassuming location on the outside, but in sure that's what keeps their prices so low. When we walked in, the decor made the place feel comfortable, warm, and inviting - almost like going to a friends home for dinner and a visit. Since this is family owned, it wasn't a surprise that the service was friendly and attentive. We had the Angus burger with mozzarella, grilled onions, bacon and a side of fries, as well as a house salad with chicken, made special due to dietary constraints. Both meals were extremely flavorful and reasonably low priced - $13 for the burger and $9 for the salad. Our bill came in under $30 with our meal, a beer, and a generous 30% tip - kind of felt like we were taking advantage of them with their great food and prices. Planning to return in a few days with some friends and hope to try Denallis happy hour menu - well drink for just $2 and speciality cocktails for $4. Not to mention the scrumptious happy hour food specials. Denallis is a top notch eatery that I could easily find myself becoming a regular at - don't pass this place up!

Decided to come here on a whim. It was a great choice. I went with some other Yelper choices and I got the yogurt chicken. I liked the dish along with the couscous. I think the dish had a lot of the couscous..I couldn't finish it. The BF got the clam linguine and he raved about it all night. He got a side salad and he loved the salad. We ordered a sandwich to go and it was the roast beef. The host was also the waiter and he really talked up the beef and sold us on the sandwich. He had it made just before we left so it was nice and fresh. The sandwich was huge. It fed the both of us just fine and then some. The interior of the restaurant was great. Had warm lighting and great decor. It made the place look really fancy. The service was spot on...we did come late so perhaps it wasn't busy. We would come again. It was a nice place to go without breaking the bank. Even their bar area was classy looking. Not very big or intrusive.

This place has AMAZING food! I was only going to order food here and not drink as i like Tequila and usually Greek restaurants do not carry good Tequila, this place on the other hand does carry good Tequila. Their food was very well priced, as was their drink selection. This place is a must visit if you are in the area and are looking from some good food. If you like Cazadores don't want to over pay for it, and don't want to listen to Karaoke this is your place! Family friendly and did i mention really good food? Yes very good fresh ingredients and you can tell!

When I first passed by Denallis, I was unsure about the location and how the food would be but decided to try it anyway. As I walked through the door, there is a warm and friendly atmosphere with people laughing and having a good time. Instantly, I felt like I was welcome as the server came up to use telling us to sit anywhere and handing us a menu. Every time I go, I try a new dish and have not been disappointed. I have since, fallen in love with Denallis and love going there. This family owned and operated restaurant is a wonderful place to be!

My boyfriend and I went to Denallis randomly for a Saturday night dinner and were a little hesitant once we arrived at the location; it's right off the side of a busy main street next to a kindof sketchy food market/store. BUT - once you walked inside, everything changed, and it was well worth it. We were told to pick whichever table we wanted and shortly after we sat down the owner himself came over, introduced himself, and when we said we heard about this place on Yelp he pointed out with lots of pride that they had just received their third "star" in the window for having four or more stars on Yelp for a year-and-a-half! He explained how he hand picks all the meats they use and they make the majority of their sauces in-house. He explained the most popular picks and his own favorites of each section of the menu to us with impeccable detail. We could tell that Dennis (owner) has a lot of pride and love for his restaurant and cares very much about providing excellent service and food to his customers. My boyfriend ordered the linguini dish and I ordered the skewered surf & turf and both were incredible. My steak and shrimp were so flavorful and tender I didn't even want to use the sauces that were on the side. The vegetables and rice were also cooked perfectly. My boyfriend's pasta was also extremely delicious. I had a side salad that had some of the freshest vegetables I have tasted in a restaurant salad. Maybe I was just having an awesome day, but honestly, this restaurant has some amazing food, in addition to really friendly service. My boyfriend and I are definitely coming back sometime soon! If you are in the area give it a chance, you won't be disappointed!

I was very excited for my clam linguini, unfortunately it fell short of expectations. I had to salt and pepper my dish so it would have some flavor other than butter. My boyfriend ordered the octopus steak. It was cooked perfectly but also under seasoned. Our drinks were well made and delicious and the clam chowder was pretty tasty. The staff was friendly and seemed to have many friends dining. I'd consider going back for a caprese salad and soup at lunch but probably not dinner.

AMAZING!!! From out of town and had a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere, great workers and food that is out of this world. Our new family favorite restaurant! Great tapas, gyros, pasta, paninis etc. Highly recommend the Lemoncello cake they have shipped in from NY - cool, moist, and refreshing! Great service from Dennis and his family. We go nearly every week. Our favorite tapas are the Hercules Bites and Gyro Sliders.

We tried Denallis for a late lunch today! It was like returning to your home after a long absence for a holiday meal. Kathy (Mom) was friendly welcoming and gave my wife and I a hug, and a firm handshake from Alex (Dad) son Dennis was mixing drinks at bar. Happy hour starts at 2 pm and drinks and Tapas are all priced bargain low. The quality is high though! I had a "House" Merlot for $3.00 and it was very good! We shared the Spicy skewered shrimp, the potato skins, and the Calamari with Maranera sauce. We were pleased with all. The service by Kathy and Dennis was superb! They were on top of everything and anticipated our every need. The family has owned a number of restaurants and it shows. Dennis has bartender in Las Vegas and we talked Martinis so could not resist trying his Chocolate Martini made with Godiva Liquer, it was terrific (my wife drove home)! It was a fun fulfilling place to dine. The owners knew all the customers by name, a truly warn friendly place to dine with excellent food and incredible prices! Give it a try you won't regret it!

We like this quaint little restaurant and are never disappointed by the food. Went for dinner again. Tonight and it was fabulous, the only drawback was that waitresses need to NOT wear perfume when working. It was a little nauseating.

Certainly worth going back to this cozy restaurant. Better than what one may expect on Hwy 99. My wife was thrilled with her pasta and clams. My carbonara was fine, but not up to my own homemade version. Desserts...limoncello cake and tiramisu, both light and delish. Service was impeccable.

  • Erin J.

We had a coupon of some sort for this place or we may not have thought to go there. The food was fresh and extremely well prepared. Service was attentive and thoughtful and the prices were ok, a little high for my pocketbook but maybe not to high for everyone. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice with an italian/mediterranean type of decor. Our one problem with the experience was that they were playing club music for the bar area, which is part of the whole restaurant. It seemed inappropriate and kind of ruined the mood for our quiet dinner. We'll definitely try it again sometime. The great food was almost worth the terrible music.

After review of my initial post, I still believe this choice for dinning was regrettable. Facts: Service was slow, Food was cold, and the appetizer came with only one Olive type when it clearly stated that there was to be a variety. For Denallis to make comment to another post, and to name other YELP users, is also a misleading tactic in attempts to affect public perception that this business has no faults. Shows that they are not prepared to take ownership for mistakes, and most certainly not prepared for any sizable catering events. It does not matter my connection with others from a work group who also gave feed back and similar rating or comment. They would like all to believe comments made were all fictional, and not a fair criticism of their service or food on Jan 11, 2012. They have in fact attempted to make it personal with personal attacks on individual users, have comments removed in attempts to hide facts that they had a very poor day. Having a medium sized group come to any restaurant should be welcomed and chance to shine the brightest. To use it as grounds to have comments removed, and to validate video surveillance of this group in a effort to prove what exactly? Just a bad cop out due to the restaurants epic service fail, and food preparation fail. To add now shameful behaviors.

I have eaten here four or five times now and have tried most of their Tapas as well as items from the regular menu. The food is incredible and the service is amazing. I love the chicken wings. Not too spicy with a wonderful homemade dressing. Instead of the usually celery, they come with spears of English cucumbers. Very refreshing. They also have a fantastic happy hour. Give this place a try, you won't be sorry.

Simple decor, delicious food. The Caesar salad, tzaziki and hummus, and chicken dishes were excellent - first rate. The staff is friendly. And the music is quiet book good. Definitely worth a detour.

We found this place after looking online for a new place. It was a Saturday afternoon and there were 5 of us. Kathy was wonderful, very nice and kind. We didn't know what to order and she let us take our time. Kathy really made us feel welcome! My husband and I had the veggy wrap and it was delicious! We also had their tzatziki and pita bread and it was also very good! The food deserves 5 stars but the service really deserves 10! We will be going back! Please check this place out!

I have to say, I was skeptical about this restaurant, knowing that several other restaurants had miserably failed in that location... they were dirty and poor food quality. However, a recommendation sent us there to see what had changed... well just about everything. Denallis is very clean, neat and chic with a great italian/greek flair. The family is what makes this restaurant stand out as a truly great place, and of course the quality and taste of the food. We desperately needed a new food place in Everett and Denallis brings it. I had flatbread with the blue cheese, caramelized onions, walnuts, paper thin granny smith apples and fresh blueberries... truly it was one of the best tasting menu items I have almost ever had at a restaurant of any kind. My 10 year old daughter had the macaroni and cheese... she said it was the best she has ever had in her life. I didn't know what tapas were, now I understand they are small plates/appetizers.... we had the shrimp on a skewer... the rub on the shrimp was pretty heavenly. You pretty much wanted to lick the plate. We have to support local small businesses... give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed... then tell your family and friends... let's keep this fresh and new flavor place here for many years to come.... with just one visit, but family who have gone several times and not been disappointed yet, I can easily say it's now one of my favorites... I plan on going whenever I can afford it. Nice job and welcome to Everett!

Slow service. I went with a couple of friends for a Friday late lunch and waited to have our order taken & even longer to get most of our food served. What did arrive was mostly not Mediterranean & the portions were small.

This place is awesome. They have been open only 3 months and I look forward to returning. The service was excellent, the food was amazing; calimari steak great, shrimp scampi wonderful. You were made to feel welcome much like visiting someone's home.

We have eaten here many times and love the food. From the start I have ordered off the menu and gotten exactly what I wanted, and it's always good. Now, they deliver our lunches several days a week and so far no glitches: they even brought us real forks when they ran out of plastic ones - now I just have to remember to return them:-)

I live in the area and come to Denallis a few times per week. They are amazing! The food is terrific and authentic. Everything is made with family recipes and skill. They always make you feel welcomed and appreciated. The happy hour prices are amazing, the entree's are delicious, and its always a positive dining experience. Where else can you get a "melt in your mouth" cut of Calamari steak? Denallis needs to be experienced by all!

I'll agree with Paul and sat that the Mac & Cheese was very well done, i like the prosciutto in the dish. Consistency was perfect. We started with the Spinach and Artichoke dip. Great starter, I could tell it was made with cream cheese instead of mayo which a lot of cheap places do. For dinner we had the Mac & Cheese, Flatbread: Nut, Cheese, Onion and Fruit - very well done, great flavor and had a perfect amount of crunch to it. We also ordered the Ham, Apple and Cheese Panini. I knew that the Flatbread wouldn't fill me up and neither would the Panini so I ordered them both. The combo was awesome. Perfect, for someone with my kind of appetite. Dessert uhhh, can I say "amazing" it was the Kahlua one (can't remember name), my date enjoyed it. We split it because we were already full, we fought over the last bite. As for the restaurant and atmosphere itself, it felt like family. The family that owns it makes you feel like family, treats you well, listens to you on what you want and need. It's one of those places that you bring people you consider as family too. I wish there were more places like this. For all that, it was only 45 plus tip. Well worth it. I will try the wine next tho, it looked like a nice selection.

This place is amazing! From the warm greeting at the door, to the amazing service, and the food is masterly prepared! If they are serving the Faki' (lentil soup) it's a must try. I had the ribeye which was delicious and prepared perfectly and they were nice enough to substitute the side dish with beets and sauteed spinach. Upon talking to to the staff which are all owners of the restaurant I learned that they have all had decades of experience in some of the best restaurants in the city and it shows! Last but not least don't miss out on the Bananas Foster. My two young boys let me have 2 bites before the whole thing was gone! Great experience!

We were looking for a new place to try and my sister-in-law found Denalli's online. On a whim, we decided to give it a shot. It was about 3:30 when we arrived so it wasn't during the "dinner rush". We were greeted so nicely when we arrived and seated promptly. The decor was very pleasant and comfortable. Kathy(sp?) was very gracious and explained everything for us as there were some things we hadn't had before on the menu. She was very patient with us when we continued to ask questions. All of our appetizers, drinks and food were brought out promptly. We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was friendly, there is no specific dress code and the prices were decent. We ended up paying roughly $20 per person with drinks, even after the tip. I would highly recommend giving this place a shot. Hopefully, your experience is equally amazing!

I happened to be in the Everett area and was looking for a new happy hour spot. I found this place on Yelp. I'm so glad that I stopped in! It was one of the best happy hour spots that I have tried in a long time. The drinks are only $2! I tried the fried pickles and they were amazing! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though it's out of my way, I will definitely be coming back!

One of the better restaurants in this immediate area. Nice family owned and run place. Given the quality and quantity of food, I would have expected our bill to be about half of what it was.

We had a nice lunch and also had a chance to meet the family. They do lunch combos starting at $7. I had the soup and panini while my wife had soup and spinich salad. Also shared a key lime pie for dessert. Everything was prepared with attention to details and we left very satisfied. We had a chance to meet Kathy and Dennis who have a lot of prior restaurant experience. We expect Denallis to be around for a long time.

I will begin by saying my experience at this restaurant inspired me to create my Yelp account so I could tell others of my visit. Eating at Denallis has to be the worst dining experience I have had in recent memory. If it were possible to give negative stars, this restaurant would be getting them. It was just a terrible, terrible experience from beginning to end. I could not wait to get out of this place. The restaurant was almost completely empty when we arrived. Considering that this should have been a busy time for them I took this as a bad sign. I should have went with my gut feeling and left then...oh how I wish I would have. Upon sitting down one of our party had to immediately get up and go back outside to move their car from the convenience store parking lot across from the restaurant. Fair warning, this apparently happens a lot. We ordered drinks, they did not have any merlot and a owner/chef from the kitchen came up front to tell us he was running to the store to get some (great, see you 20 minutes) It took nearly an hour from the point we ordered until some of our food was brought out. It took another 15 minutes before everyone finally received something to eat and we never did get everything that was ordered. The entree that I ordered probably would have been pretty good if it had not obviously sat under a heat lamp for quite some time. I can only imagine what it would have tasted like if it had come straight out of the oven to me. I bet it would have been good. The hamburgers we ordered looked more like sliders than a regular hamburger, they were burnt, cost too much and were just terrible. Bad food, Bad service, it was just awful. I cannot imagine why I would ever go back to this place and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

This was my 2nd time here. Great family, good people! I had the Rib Eye. Best steak in town!!! I couldn't finish my meal. They are trying really hard to get it right and it will pay off. No more Buzz Inn for me. Too bad Ima had a bad experience because I have never had a bad on there. I'm going to keep going!!!

Great food, and good service. It makes me sad other people have made comments about the food taking a long time to cook - DUH it's going to take a while, because everything is home made from scratch. Which is one of the reasons I love them so. Everything I have ordered is amazing, and the portions are generous. The prices are very fair considering how fresh and authentic the food is, and the portion size. Do not hesitate to try this place, you will love it!

This restaurant has great food. We enjoyed the chicken skewers, they are so tender they melt in your mouth. The salmon skewers are delicious. Best hamburger in town. Next time, I will try the burger with feta. I had the house red wine, very good and the chardonnay is great. The bartender is so cute, he looks like Paul McCartney. The staff is very friendly. We will be going back soon.

Seldom does a restaurant excel in all areas of endeavor, but Denallis is one that seems to do just that. The quality of the food, presentation, and availability of dishes are unsurpassed. This friendly Greek family uses only the freshest, top-quality ingredients, suitable for their own fare, as well as that of their guests. The business is spotless and comfortable. Oh yes, "guest" is rather an understatement; "friend" or "family" is a much better term to describe anyone lucky enough to walk in the door. Alex, his wife, Kathy, and their son, Dennis are so sincere, cheerful, and accommodating that one looks forward to the next visit to this charming place. My wife and I have enjoyed many of their dishes, and every one has hit the ball out of the park. The 12-ounce Rib Eye steak with fresh mashed potatoes is one particularly good value; another is the Calamari steak; but, don't neglect to consider the many other excellent offerings. Stop in the first time, and you will be hooked!

Well, we have found a new favorite place. First off, the interior of the restaurant is very pretty and comfortable. The custom built bar is gorgeous, they serve 5 or 6 craft brews and Dennis the bartender is very talented. I think if given the chance he could entertain us with his skilled use of the cocktail shaker! Lol. Tim our waiter was patient and very helpful as I am one of those people who have to read the entire menu and then ask questions!!! He knew the menu very well and was able to answer all that I asked. The food....was wonderful. I had the chicken breast on a ciabatta roll with prosciutto and pesto sauce and the best fresh house salad I've had in a very long time. Husband had the Mac and cheese which seemed to be a very popular item that night and he raved! He didn't come right out and say it was better than mine, but I know he was thinking that. Anyway go, you'll not be disappointed.

Our taste buds were in the mood for some Mediterranean food after a long day of shopping. This place is great! Love the food and service was superb! Sarah was our server, real friendly and great! Side note: clean restrooms with variety of hand soap and lotion! It's the little things that count :)

This place is a million fun and interesting contradictions in one, and it's hard to dial in exactly where it lands between all of them. So first off, let's say that if you love interesting food no matter what your surroundings are, you can round this up to a full five stars. I'm only taking off a star because it's a little rough around the edges here and there, which we'll get into. First of all, this is on Highway 99 (around here, known as Evergreen Way), so it's stuck in among car dealerships and you're merging on and off a 6-lane highway to eat here. It's not a rough neighborhood, but it feels pretty close to that--there's a tattoo parlor right next door, under the same roof. There's a decent amount of parking, though, and the place is welcoming and comfortable for pretty much anybody. Inside, there's a bar surrounded by stools, with flat screens overhead tuned to the game. There are big neon signs for beer and sports in the windows, and the construction is nondescript. All things considered, if you just glanced at the place driving by, you could probably be forgiven for wondering whether it was a very local tavern and not much else. But that's not the case at all. The first thing you really notice here is the deep aroma of smoking meat. You know right away that there's real cooking happening in back. The dining rooms are really just a couple rows of tables and booths ringed around the outside edges of the building. It's very casual, but they keep it clean, tidy, and presentable. The staff are right on point with menus, place settings, drinks, and the like. It's family-run, and two generations seem to work the floor here every day. The menu covers a few pages, with an interesting mix of Greek food, American food, and some Mediterranean-influenced items. There are two whole columns of tapas, but they're closer to what Americans might think of as appetizers--one of the tapas is lamb chops with French fries and tzatziki. That's cool, shouldn't bother anybody at all, but I think most people would walk in here, eat, and call it a Greek place. So make whatever you want of the "Mediterranean" you see and hear to describe it. We had the falafel fritters (very dense and heavy, great flavor, nicely sauced), picante shrimp saganaki (amazingly explosive flavor, cooked exactly to temp, great combinations of flavors), the Kalamata bruschetta (came out with no kalamatas, so probably a mis-order, but who cares? It was fantastic, with great depth of flavor and nice thick chunks of chewy bread). And then we were full. That's three things off the "tapas" menu, and they were more than enough to fill us up. For some reason, we had also ordered the half rack of baby back ribs, which smelled amazing from the dining room, and the owner really sold us on them. They were amazingly tender, and pretty saturated with sauce, but they didn't really have a whole hell of a lot of flavor. They just tasted like a great tender mouthful of roast beef. They come with awesome hand-mashed Yukon gold mashed potatoes, which arrive with a bit of cheese blended in--these are great. And there's a little bowl of lightly spiced cole slaw, which was a little on the damp side, and, like most cole slaw, not very interesting. They have every right to charge $26 for this, and I finished most of it even though I was full already. But I can't say it's worth the dollars, given that there's nothing that distinctive about the flavor profile, and there isn't much on the "platter" in the way of side dishes. Besides, this is a Greek place. Stick with the foods the family grew up with. They have a full bar, and a few decent beers on tap. They clearly have a ton of lifelong regulars, and I fully expect to join that list, at least as an occasional regular (I live half an hour from here). The people are awesome, and the food is amazing. It's fun listening to the bartender and the regulars giving each other a hard time at the bar. Everything here feels like home, right down to the oldies playing off the jukebox. Can't wait to try more stuff here.

The girlfriend and myself stopped in for dinner a few weeks ago. She's really into "tapas" aka small plates, and I'm the type of person that doesn't care if we're going for fast food or a fine dining experience so I can dig it. We went on a Tuesday night, so it was nice and quiet. The food was excellent. We ordered the lamb chops -- Perfectly seared and cooked, Flaming cheese plate -- pretty good but not as good as a couple local places when you compare the prices (Denallis was a little more expensive). Then we tried the flat bread. The bread was good but our toppings were a complete whiff. I believe it was something like Goat Cheese, blue berries and walnuts? Maybe we're just not use to odd flavor combinations but we could just never get that good bite without one of the flavors being too dominant. The girlfriend enjoyed all of her drinks. I've never been one to drink on a Tuesday. The atmosphere could using a little livening up -- It was quite dark inside the restaurant. On the other hand you don't eat atmosphere, so I don't place too much emphasis on that. Overall I wasn't blown away, but I see a lot of potential in other menu items (the variety is impressive -- such a large menu) and would certainly go back.

My wife and I finally had the chance to sample the happy hour here. We were both please with our last minute decision to pull into the restaurant. My wife ordered a couple of refreshing pounders of Mac & Jack for $4 (hh). I sipped a couple of house Merlot's for $3 (hh). For our dining pleasure, my wife started out with a Caesar salad for $4 (hh): crisp romaine, a tomato wedge, Parmesan cheese and garlic croutons covered with a creamy Caesar dressing. I chose the House salad for $3 (hh): Spring mix greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and red onion. My dressing choice was the Toasted Sesame. Absolutely loved my salad! We also ordered Corn Dog bites for $4 (hh): mini sausage links wrapped in a corn bread batter. Served with a side of ketchup and mustard for ones dipping pleasure. The corn dog bites were piping hot and not in the least bit soggy. Delish! Lastly we ordered the Mac 'n Cheese bites for $4 (hh): creamy cheesy heaven deep-fried to perfection. Served with a side of marinara sauce for ones dipping pleasure. Thank you Denallis for your warm welcoming atmosphere and down home hospitality.

They have a quality selection of beers on tap. I found the food to be good but not great. The staff is very friendly and I can see how this would be a neighborhood favorite if you live nearby. The potato skins with fresh sour cream were good, as was the flat bread. The falafel sandwich was disappointing as the pita seemed doughy and the falafel unexpectedly mushy. The place could also use a good cleaning as there were noticeable old dusty cobwebs, etc. There are a number of places I would drive out of my way to visit but this is not one of them. However the parking lot was full and they seem to get a lot of positive reviews so maybe I'm just missing something.

This place doesn't look like much from the road but we had a good meal here! We started with two tapas, olives and feta with pita (the pita was warm and delicious) and pickle fritters. A+ My main was the lamb platter and it was hands down the best lamb I've ever had. Usually I don't go for lamb because its often disappointing in flavor and I don't prefer meats to be cooked rare (which lamb chops usually are). These were so tender and had the flavor of the grill on them. They were also cooked medium which was a texture and flavor I much preferred. They were scrumptious and I only wish I'd had a few more! My platter did come with fries vs. oven roasted potatoes that were listed on the menu but that didn't bother me. My husband had the Burger De Greco which he enjoyed very much. He said it was a combination he'd never even imagined before but he'd get it again. We sprung for dessert since we were here celebrating a birthday and I had the banana caramel cheesecake wrap which was extremely rich and decadent! My husband had the pineapple upside down cake which I actually preferred as it was warm and not quite so sweet. My husband preferred the bananas as he's got a major sweet tooth. We don't often repeat places but there are a number of other dishes I'm wanting to try so we will be back!

Went in tonight with my husband for dinner, nice/quiet place, guys running the place are super friendly and know other customers by name..husband orders a burger and I get the clams linguini, food and service was fantastic only negative thing I have to say is about the portion size, we both left hungry and came home and ate after we just had "dinner". Might come back for happy hour but probably not for dinner, other than that, its a great place with yummy food.

Man, do we love this place. We've been there multiple times. Everything there is fantastic. The food and presentation are phenomenal, and Dennis is a great host and a terrific guy. Don't be deceived when you drive by the inconspicuous location, Denallis is a hidden gem along the side of Evergreen Way. Ambience is just right, place is clean and super welcoming, and the food is just the best. Go there. You won't regret it.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Denalli's Mediterranean restaurant while visiting Everett, Wa. The appetizers & dips & entrees were A+. Dennis was the perfect owner & host...very sweet & offered extra knowledge of the food & gave us outstanding service. Highly recommend, & worth the drive for great Mediterranean food...!

My son lives not far away and he recommended Denalli's. I'm glad we stopped in because we enjoyed an early dinner. My generous serving of chicken parmigiano was delicious and my son enjoyed his Mediterranean flatbread. It is easy to underestimate or overlook this restaurant because it's a modest edifice in what seemed an unremarakble part of the city (speaking as one who is unfamilair with the area) but it's family owned and staffed, and the dishes are tastefully prepared with pride and skill using ingredients that assure a worthwhile dining experience. I was driving, so I didn't get an opportunity to order wine. I recommend Denalli's and I look forward to my next opportunity to dine here.

I try to avoid Everett and especially Evergreen Way like the plague. I grew up there and proudly moved away...... Buuuuuuut this place could bring me back. First, the bad: diminutive location and outward appearance (and maybe the cheesy beer signs). The good: everything else. The staff was amazing, the interior is classy without being annoying (see "Olive Garden" for more details on this), but the food... Holy hell the food. Between the two of us we had the chicken pot pie soup, the ribeye, a gyro, mashed potatoes, french fries, and grilled zucchini, two glasses of wine, and two beers. One was better than the next. The soup and ribeye will haunt my dreams and the gyro was the best I've had north of Seattle. If all I ever ate here was the soup this place would still get five stars. I'm pretty sure they put crack in the food, but given the incredible value that this place is they probably don't. We'll be back, very soon.

Wow! I don't know where to begin. The facilities are flawless inside although I'll say the outside can use a little work. It definitely does not reflect the interior decor, food, or service. The service was amazing. Very attentive and we were able to interact with the owner. You can definitely tell this restaurant has a family run feel that is personable and efficient. The food was amazing. The choices were perfect and the quality of the ingredients made our dishes flawless. From soups, salads, and entrees, the food was fresh and absolutely tasty. I wish I would of had room for dessert because it looked awesome. Finally the pricing was very reasonable. This place could easily charge 10 to 20% more for what we received. This place definitely deserves the rating and has earned us as regular patrons. The only regret Is that we only found this today even though it had been here for 3 years. We only live about 5 miles away!

From outside it looks like a hole in the wall but don't let that fool you. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. We had the Ultimate Garlic Bread and Humus for appetizers. Main course was Chicken Parmigiano. Both the appetizers AND the main course were delicious. Personally I would come back just to try more of their Tapas.

Denallis Grill and Bar is the best restaurant I've tried in a while and an absolute must stop if you are in the Everett, WA area. It's good enough that I will make the trip up from where I live in downtown Seattle just for dinner. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't make the mistake of letting that fool you, the quality of the food is top notch. My girlfriend and I were taking her parents out for dinner and so we wanted to meet in Everett since it is about halfway between where each of us live. I went on Yelp and saw the stellar reviews so I decided to give this place a try. When we got there my girlfriend and I were a little nervous because from the outside it doesn't look like much and we wanted to take her parents to a nice meal. Again do not let that fool you the food is amazing. Now my girlfriend and her mom have Celiac disease so they and her dad eat a Gluten Free diet which can be a challenge to accommodate but when we asked our server (Dennis who is also the owner and head chef of the establishment) about Gluten Free options he went into precise detail on how they have Gluten Free options across the menu and take it very seriously even using a separate fryer for the fried falafel to keep it completely Gluten Free. He even made sure to ask us questions to make sure he accommodated their diet correctly. One of the things that impressed me the most about Denallis is the passion that Dennis showed for the food and the quality of his restaurant, as if he would take it personal if someone didn't have a good experience there and thus did everything humanly possible to ensure that didn't happen. When we asked for recommendations on the menu he wouldn't only recommend an item but rather would go into detail on why he recommended it. Like with the Hercules bites he talked about how he cut each piece of meat in house daily and used on the center cut best pieces of the meat for the bites to ensure that each one melted in your mouth (they did). He spoke about how they source their Lamb from New Zealand to get it without all of the hormones that they pump into the lamb in the U.S. and to get a great cut without the gamey taste that is so common in Lamb served here. In fact he was so passionate about the food and so insistent about how good it was and how much we would love it that I was almost turned off at first, writing him off as cocky. I legitimately had the thought, "this better be amazing with as much as he talked this up" and feared that it was just bravado and that I was going to be let down. It lived up to every bit he said it would and then some. He wasn't just passionate about the food quality though as he went into detail on how they keep their kitchen spotlessly clean by going as far as drilling holes in the bottom of each appliance and putting them on wheels so that they can easily move them to clean behind each one. To have that kind of attention to detail makes me think he must be super type A which is exactly the type of person I want in charge of making my food. Now I've written this much and haven't even gotten to the food yet so here it goes. We ordered 4 orders of the Hercules bites (our personal favorite), the lamb chops, the four dips, the spicy shrimp, and the falafel bites (all off the Tapas menu). As Dennis promised the lamb chops were really well done without even a hint of gameyness and were a great cut of meat. The spicy shrimp and falafel bites were both great and were a good change of pace from all of the beef that we ordered. They helped balance the meal out well. We couldn't choose which of the dips we wanted to try so we got the plate with all of them on it (Dill Tzatziki, Hummus, Tahini-Walnut Skordalia, and Roasted Red Pepper Dip). The consensus on the table was that the Roasted Red pepper, Hummus, and Dill Tzatziki were all so good that we couldn't order any one of them and cheat ourselves out of the other two. We didn't love the Tahini-Walnut but it wasn't terrible either. Finally the Hercules bites which come on a skewer with Dill Tzatziki to dip them in. For four of us we ordered two servings off the tapas menu to each get two and then loved them so much that like I mentioned above we ordered two more servings to get another two. They are so tender that you can cut them with a butter knife if not just your fork. The Tzatziki works really well to complement the seasoning on the beef and as it melts in your mouth the flavors just pop. If you eat here you have to get an order of the Hercules bites as they highlight the quality and care taken with the food better than any other item on the menu. The only reason not to order them is if you're a vegetarian. He's clearly put a lot of hard work into this restaurant and is proud of it as he well should be, it's paid off, do not miss this place.

Only open 2 & 1/2 years! Amazing success & stunning reviews. Of course it was nice to chat a little Greek, but the mid-week mid-afternoon 1/2-&-1/2 menu at $7 is fabulous! Everything is fresh & made w/ love - awesome! Nice that it is SO close to the Mukilteo Ferry, so we could catch lunch before diving into downtown Seattle's hustle bustle. Thanks Kathy!

Great happy hour menus. And the main course was awesome. Great atmosphere. Was a great enjoyment for a Saturday lunch date with the wife. A definite returnfor more to try. And the dessert menu yum Lemoncello cake was something new for me. So i will have to come back to try it. Had to pick the tiramisu this time.

All I can say is OMG, after driving by this place every time we go to the gym we decided to give it a shot! We had lamb chops, gyros and pita with hummus. Food was amazing, ambiance was great and the owner was cool. Consider us regulars from this point on!!

Truth is, I've only been here once. That should never warrent a 5 star. This place is one of those exceptions. Seriously, one of the best restaurants I've ever patronized. My wife and I were very wary of the exterior and the part of town the Denali's put up shop. Ignore it and please go inside. You will find the warmest family and best food you've ever imaged coming out of the Italian/Greek kitchen. Food: -Incredible. The tapas, the salad, the soup, the pasta, the fish, the steak...it goes on and on. It is all A+ 5 stars. I suggest going full on tapas. The mini gyros are to die for. The home made pesto sauce will leave you licking the plate. Staff: -If the food wasn't so good, this would make up for any lacking. However, it just gets better. The family that runs this place are so amazingly warm and nice. They make you feel like they LOVE their food just as much as you are about to. They will pretty much make you feel like a part of the family who is sitting down to enjoy their family recipes. Atmosphere: -The interior and exterior aren't amazing to look at. This isn't a huge deal though because everyone is happy to be there and you will be face down in an amazing meal to even realize the tacky beer signs in the window.

Delicious food and excellent service. We had the Caprese Salad and Falafel appetizers, Lamb Chops, Mediterranean Pasta, and Surf & Turf. Everything was excellent. I was astounded at the flavor and quality of my husband's steak. Owned by a Greek family who takes pride in their food and service, and it shows. A++

i finally tried this place after a friend raved many times about it. I've been there 3 times this month taking different people with me each time. Everyone has really enjoyed it. This week I went for lunch with co workers and lunch is as good as dinner. One thing I will say is every visit must end with lemoncello cake.

Delicious! Everything is hand-made, and everything is so tasty! We ordered several dishes, and concluded that the falafel was the best sandwich. Try to save room for dessert though, the lemon cake is flown in from Queens, NY, and is perfect for sharing :) I highly recommend this restaurant!

I took my girlfriend there for her birthday dinner. The happy hour specials were well worth the money. Very tasty and a great selection of tapas. We ordered dinner and it was out very quickly. Delicious food and great prices. Customer service was top notch. Decor and facilities were clean and well decorated. We will definitely be back!

Thank you Yelp for helping me try a place I have driven by every day. Despite the underwhelming appearance the food combinations are truly outstanding. The meat flavor in the gyro blew my mind and the spices on the Zesty Shrimp were unusually savory and exciting.

Our first visit and it was well worth a 5 star review. The food was amazing, the service was great and the prices were good for the quality of the food. We had the Decadent Mac N' Cheese (TO DIE FOR!), Hercules Bites, Falafel Fritters, Hummus with Pita and Gyro Sliders. It was all delicious. Can't wait to go back and sample more of the menu. We finished up with the Limoncello Marscapone Cake...it was perfect.

Denallis is our family's favorite restaurant. We go for the fantastic Greek cooking, excellent service and the comfortable atmosphere. Also to see the staff who are always friendly and treat us like we are family. I have many favorites including the Burger de Greco, Prosciutto Carbonara, Chicken Parm, Lentil Soup, Hummus with Pita. Make sure to stop by and say hi to Dennis.

I visited this place after the receptionist at a local company recommended it. We were seated right away and attended to promptly. I ordered the gyro sliders, which were delicious! I was slightly disappointed that they were actually just mini gyros; I was expecting gyro meat on mini burger buns. Nevertheless, they were very tasty! The tzatziki was very good, and the side fries were decent as well. Another person in my group ordered the salmon and potatoes, and we were informed that they only serve Alaskan wild-caught. The dessert menu was small but everything on it looked good and I had a hard time deciding. I went with the lemon mascarpone cake, and it was amazing! If I return, I will definitely order it again. Cons: When someone asks "what's good", don't say "everything", and don't read the entire menu; just list a handful of your best-selling dishes. When the owner/chef visited our table, he smelled like cigarette smoke. Very off-putting when he's the one preparing my food.

Absolutely superb! Just as good as the other reviewers said. We tried a bunch of different tapas...Hercules bites, spicy shrimp, gyro sliders, caprese salad and garlic bread and all were excellent. The food was tasty, but the portions a bit small. It was tapas, so we did expect that. The meals we saw at other tables looked large, so we might be back for a meal instead of tapas sometime. The service was acceptably attentive. The decor is wonderful. But we were not in the mood for loud football on the TV while we were having a quiet romantic dinner at what we thought was an upscale restaurant. The prices were certainly fine dining, so I feel like the atmosphere should be. I think they need to decide if they are a sports bar or a fine dining restaurant.

The food and service are amazing!

love this place. it might just look like another hole in the wall in Everett. it's low key friendly and has a nice big corner booth to grab for great food and some drinks with friends.

Whenever I am craving a gyro, I rush to Denallis. First time I came here, it was my birthday and the waiter made me his special birthday desert, bananas foster! BEST desert I have ever had omg. Highly reccomend this place for some fine greek dishes, along with a birthday celebratory dinner!

This place has homemade Mediterranean delicious food with a small town feel. They'll remember your beer brand and favorites if you go often and the hummus is worth the try. Great happy hour prices too! Oh and they play the Seahawks!

I usually don't write reviews, but this place was amazing. This place is a must go. Great food, clean and wonderful service. It's a hidden gem in Everett. Well worth the drive and money. I will be going again real soon!

  • Alissa M.

Really great little spot. A super friendly owner, like everyone's grandma, who remembered our favorites and gave me a hug when I hadn't been in for a couple weeks. Delicious salads. And large.

Delicious! Everything is hand-made, and everything is so tasty! We ordered several dishes, and concluded that the falafel was the best sandwich. Try to save room for dessert though, the lemon cake is flown in from Queens, NY, and is perfect for sharing :) I highly recommend this restaurant!

Thank you Yelp for helping me try a place I have driven by every day. Despite the underwhelming appearance the food combinations are truly outstanding. The meat flavor in the gyro blew my mind and the spices on the Zesty Shrimp were unusually savory and exciting.

i finally tried this place after a friend raved many times about it. I've been there 3 times this month taking different people with me each time. Everyone has really enjoyed it. This week I went for lunch with co workers and lunch is as good as dinner. One thing I will say is every visit must end with lemoncello cake.
