Palace Cafe Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Never actually been to the restaurant. Daddy has priorities and always goes straight to the bar. Food is so passe, it doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Well, Captain Cocoon's Caterpillar Burgers do, but I won't go there. Let's just say that you get butterflies in your stomach after eating them. The Palace is an unexciting little bar but they have two dollar wells on some weeknights, so this li'l goat ain't got nothin' to bah about.

This is a regular stop for us as we are traveling often from Everett to Eastern Washington; I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict, it is to die for! The hashed browns are always crispy but tender, just the way I like them and the portions are huge! Service is always friendly and they even let me have the breakfast although it was past the hour for serving breakfast. Other thing not to be missed is the Fried Green Beans; even my picky eater sons ate every single one of them, they are better than french fries!

Nothing special. I don't know. It's one of the few places in E-burg and it's right by the Tav.

The food was edible, so that earns them some points. But as main dishes go, from what I tried, that's probably the best I can say. I stopped in Ellensburg to visit my good friend Alisha C. on my way back from my weekend in Walla Walla. Because it was dinner time and this place had been recommended to her, we decided to grab a bite. After looking over the menu, the fish and chips caught my eye. They claimed they would be the best fish and chips I would ever eat. Intrigued, that's what I decided to get. The boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger and Alisha C. got the turkey hero sandwich. When my fish and chips came, I was immediately disappointed. I've seen better breaded fish at fast food chains. And after tasting them I was even more disappointed. They're not the worst I've ever had, but they're close. Definitely NOT the best I've ever had. The burger was okay, but uninspiring. Probably the best tasting main dish of the three, and that's not saying much. So they get some stars because the fries are fantastic. Crunchy and yummy. And the lemon dill tartar sauce was pretty good too. The drink list was pretty extensive, but we didn't try anything off of it. Next time I'm in Ellensburg, I'll probably steer clear of Palace Cafe unless all I want is fries.

Service was terrible. We got seated then had to wait another 20 min for water, we also ordered at that time in fear that the server wouldn't come back around, She didn't. It took 40 min for our food.

Dont waste your $$, the food is not good. The service is crap, you overpay for what you get. Try someplace else!

I stop by Ellensburg twice a year. Each time I do I come on by the Palace Café for breakfast. This May was different. Not only did I do breakfast (Foster Waffles) but also did dinner the same day (Chicken fried steak) And, both times, that day, I had the same table. This place knows what it's doing and it's doing it right. I enjoy everything about this place... In fact, my new goal is to do breakfast, lunch & dinner here. All on the same day~!

Thank you, Palace Cafe, for giving me the unique experience of my server and I both watching as she slammed my plate into my coffee cup, spilling a not insignificant amount of coffee directly into my breakfast, having my server look right at me after this, before turning away and never coming back, except for when she took it upon herself to slam our check down on the table when we hadn't even asked for it. The coffee is good.

Found this one through yelp....thanks yelp! I've been watching food shows and have seen country fried steaks and wanted to try one out. Read someone else's review on the steak and they said it was good, so I gave it a try. It and the mashed potatoes with country gravy were really good. I have to go back to ellensberg in July, so I will go back. My son had a burger and fries, and like the other review we read, he said they were the best fries ever. Thanks yelp!

The Palace Grill was not a memorable experience!!! I went with my wife for breakfast. I wasn't asked how my eggs were to be done for an order of Eggs Benedict! They were fried and the hash browns were cooked nice one one side barely even brown on the other. If you want to keep your reputation better train your staff better.

Good food and service! Portions are pretty large for a reasonable price! Definitely one of the best places to eat in the area!

  • Russ J.

Very good local Restaurant with some unique items. Service can be slow when they're busy, but servers are usually very nice. Prices are about average- $11 burgers and $15 to $25 for very filing Dinner entrees. It also has a small Bar in the back that gets very busy with the College crowd.

I have made this stop twice while i was in Ellensburg and both times the food was great!!! The employees are very friendly and joke around quite often. Great atmosphere with an old diner feel. I would highly recommend the French dip! It comes with fries and it won't disappoint!

Although much of downtown Ellensburg was closed on a Sunday, the Palace Cafe was open and delicious. The lunchtime menu was extensive, with gluten-free options, and our entrees were generous and fresh. I had the Sante Fe Chopped Chicken Salad and my partner had the Bacon Ranch Ciabatta Burger. Great historic location, too.

We had dinner here on Saturday night. Even though it was Jazz Festival weekend, we had no problem getting a table. Service was fast and friendly, our food was very tasty and quick. We had the smoked beef brisket and a chicken ciabatta sandwich, everything was homemade and very good. We would definitely eat here again.

Great spot to eat in the 'burg. Located downtown. They have good burgers and salads; and some lighter fare if you're not that hungry. Bootjack IPA on tap. But be prepared for at least a bit of a wait; pretty popular.

This place was awesome! I'm a vegan and eating out can be a bit of a challenge. I'm very used to just eating side salads or ordering a few side dishes as my meal. I ordered the hummus with no pita, and they replaced it with veggies to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I was so thankful for that! The "non-vegan" food that my family was eating was good too, they definitely enjoyed this place as well. Very friendly staff. I recommend!

We stopped in for dinner wanting to get away from the exit ramp eateries. It is in a quaint older building in old town Ellensburg. I had the 8oz sirloin with coconut shrimp, baked potato and home style beans. She had spaghetti and meat sauce lite version. Before the meal we both had dinner salads. Both meals were good. The sirloin was surprisingly tender for a thinner cut. The waitress Amber was very attentive to us. Both meals with coffee came to $42. I felt the value was there with good quality.

Ellensburg chili was very satisfying on large fries. My daughter had the grilled cheese. Honestly it was what I expected. A little pricey, but again, as expected. The real treat is the small town charm, the building itself (look up at the ceiling) and the historical photography.

I had heard good things from some locals about this place, we stopped in on the way back from a Tom Petty Concert at the Gorge for breakfast and I was honestly quite dissapointed in the food. I ordered the corned beef hash and was served kind of a mush of potatoes with little ground corned beef mixed in. Would have liked to see the potatoes crispy like they should be and some bigger chunks of corned beef. The saving grace for this place is that the sevice was promt and friendly and they have really good local coffee. I would be willing to give his place another chance but definately will either come for lunch or dinner or order something different form the menu.

This review is mostly for the Bar area in the back of restaurant. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Even when they are crazy busy the staff is attentive and friendly. The drinks are always good as well as the food. One of my go to places for a good dining and bar experience.

Food was ok. Had the burger which was on the greasy side and made the bun soggy. Like the fried green beans for an appetizer. Staff are friendly and attentive.

This was a very fun place to go with kids and all of our food was yummy. My son loved the Champion Chili Burger, the fries were delicious, the children's fries were also very good and shaped like smiley faces. My salad was the shrimp and strawberry salad - I highly recommend it to anyone. The main course

Had the Tuna Melt with Sweet Potato Fries. The portion was large and the tuna melt was tasty.

We came here for breakfast. It took 10 minutes for the server to greet our table. He did not acknowledge the wait. By that time, we were ready to place our food order. The food came out timely. The portions were huge and the food was standard. There's a deck of Trivial Pursuit cards on each table for entertainment.

  • Jeong H.

The country fried steak was great. It is a pretty common dish in American breakfast restaurants but this one felt less heavy in the stomach even with great portion. The seats and tables were a little authentic and elegant looking compared to other breakfast restaurants. Would definitely visit again if I lived in Ellensburg.

Yumm I couldn't say anything bad about this place. Best fries I have ever eaten and love the French dip. They have birthday coupons you can sign up for small business who cares about there customers and provides amazing food!

    (5)
  • Kristine D.

Great food, great atmosphere. The waitress should have told us it would be extra to swap out crispy chicken for grilled ($2 more a plate); it is just good customer service to do so.

  • Sue M.

We've lived here 10 years and the quality of the food has sunk to a very low level. There is nothing on the menu that I've tried that I would ever order again and I've tried a lot of items. An example is that the fettucini was almost like library paste. We get the free dinner offers in the mail for our birthdays and anniversary. We throw them in the garbage. I had such high hopes but they've managed to ruin everything except the coffee.

A couple miles from I-90 downtown, but more than worth short drive and passing up the boring fast food places on the way. Great ambience, good food and service, and the place was full, always a good sign.

The best all-round, mid-price cafe in Ellensburg. Having eaten here several times, I have yet to be disappointed whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service has always been good and friendly. I like that there is a wide range of menu items at appropriate prices. You can come out of here feeling happily full for $10-25 a person depending on how fancy you're feeling. For breakfast I love the Bacon Plate. For lunch my favorites are the Chicken ciabatta, Prime rib dip and Fish and Chips (their fries are excellent). For dinner their steaks are also excellent! My favorite is the flat iron steel and breaded prawns. The steak is always made how you ask for it and the prawns pleasantly crispy. Palace is the cafe I'd most easily recommend for any time of the day. Try it!

If your looking for good diner fare, this is the best place in Ellensburg. There service is fast and they have really good food! I bring my parents there for breakfast and they love it! I love their cinnamon rolls! Mmm!

Good lunch spot. Fast and friendly. This is a good spot for a quick, reasonable lunch with lots of comfort food options. The Turkey Hero is amazing. The salads are pretty ordinary, but you don't come to a place like this for healthy options. Palace Cafe gets an extra star for being open during CWUs spring break.

Just left after breakfast and it was excellent. Had ham steak and eggs. Large piece of ham (almost size of plate) eggs perfect. Would recommend to anyone and I'm very picky...

The bar part of Palace is one of my favorite spots. Taco Tuesday and Thursday every week with 69 cent tacos and $2 Coronas, can't beat that! And the bar tenders are awesome too :)

  • Mike Y.

While at the grocery store the night before we asked the spaced out college kid working the register for the best breakfast in town. In his best stoner voice he said "no doubt man, go to the Palace." Can't beat a recommendation like that so we headed here the next morning and we loved it. The place was packed on a Sunday morning but we lucked out and got right in as a table just opened. The coffee was fantastic and an absolutely awesome omelette.

Overall it's one of our favorite places in town. The space itself is old and eclectic which is cool. The staff is great most of the time...our last visit however we got our food and had to remind the server that we hadn't gotten our drinks yet. The variety is awesome and prices are decent...except the kids menu and soda. (My daughter likes the mac n cheese off the kids menu but it appears to be nothing short of a small dish of kraft mac n cheese for $6+ served with plain nasty looking steamed veggies on the side which she wouldn't touch.) The food on the main menu however has always been great though...oriental chicken salad, cod fish and chips, breakfast wrap, etc...oh and the cinnamon rolls are monsterous and positively naughty. My teenage son almost always orders the screamin jack burger...messy good. Hard to go wrong with The Palace...worth the try. ;)

We just finished a very nice dinner on a busy Friday night. Good service, cold beer, great green bean appetizer. I had the seafood salad and it was very good and not over cooked like some that I have had. Husband had the halibut n chips and said he would order it again.

Ate here with my wife's uncle and aunt tonight.. Excellent food and service! Screaming Jack burger was awesome as usual (warning: it's messy! But those juices are oh so good! )

this is really a good place overall. The food is ok but dose not stand out but the building is really cool and thats what makes it worth trying out!

Well Ellensburg is my new vacation spot and The Palace Cafe is my new hangout while on vacation. Ate 3 meals here (One breakfast, two dinners) and was delightfully pleased. Nothing about it really blew my socks off, but it was good food, good service, and I like the environment of the restaurant. Cocktails seemed a bit weak, but sufficient. Dinner #1 started off with their Ellensburg Chili (I recommend it), followed by a Cobb Salad. Had honey mustard dressing w/ the Cobb and I'm a huge fan of it. Breakfast was my standard fare. Couple over easy, bacon, hashbrowns, and an English muffin. Good bacon!. Dinner #2 was teriyaki chicken breast, rice pilaf, and steamed carrots and broccoli. Not really a fan of cooked carrots but I ate a few. Portions were plentiful. Basically, I love this place.

A great breakfast spot. Huge, homemade portions served fast and HOT. I enjoyed homemade corned beef hash and it was enough to easily feed two. The staff are very nice and efficient. The bathrooms are old and a little dingy, but fairly clean. You could do a lot worse for breakfast.

Lovely little historic Ellensburg restaurant - but nothing extremely spectacular to give it more than 3 stars. Reading the story of how the restaurant evolved over time on the all day breakfast menu was interesting and helped pass the time until food came out. I had the turkey croissant special with soup and salad - full sandwich not a 1/2er - all for about $13 with tip. Not too shabby. I had to rearrange the turkey in the sandwich since it was all piled in the middle and I also added avocado - this was delish! Salad and soup all came out with the sandwich which was a little disappointing. I would have loved for them to bring out salad and soup first but I think this was just how the 'special' was supposed to come out so can't hold it against them too much. I picked the cheesy potato soup and it was rich, thick, and sooo good! They also put a few sprinkles of shredded cheese on top to make it extra cheesy. It was filling enough for me to have to take some of my soup to go - and fyi the cheesy potato soup reheated very well. Overall a great spot to try at least once if you're visiting the burg.

Best things about the Palace are: - Taco night; on Thursdays - locals bar; you'll hear ranchers chatting it up in the early afternoon - big TVs; if you like watching sports - great (and huge) martinis - attentive staff The bad: - food is pretty mediocre ...and, well, the food, it's basically diner food (think Denny's)

As I initially entered this place, I was expecting a mildly run down locale. However, the Palace Cafe was an incredible blast into the local history. It started with basic decor, and then continued onto the menu. Wonderful, for history buffs like myself. I ordered Screamin' Jack Burger. Honestly, I expected a plain old burger with some fixings, but what I got was most likely the best burger I've ever eaten. Added some avocado - of course. Staff was generally polite and helpful. Enjoy the food, the menu is interestingly robust.

I have recently moved to Ellensburg, and tonight I had the pleasure of eating at the Palace Cafe. I decided on ordering the 12 oz prime rib and a salad. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, however the mixed vegetables looked as if they had been on the steam table for way too long and were uneatable. I also had to ask for the roll and butter that it was supposed to come with. The service was fantastic, however I would have liked to have more time between the salad and the main course. I will go back again and again.

Stopped in for dinner. Good service and quick. The Burger was average but excellent fries. The Caprese turkey burger was awesome! Wrapped it up with a very good pumpkin shake.

We stopped here on our way back to Seattle from Spokane. This is my second time here and my moms third. It's located in cute ellensburg on their one Main Street. We had to wait a few minutes for our table just because it was just the beginning of dinner time and they were a little full, but they gave us a table with an outlet as we requested in less than 5 minutes. We had water immediately and our waiter came to take our drink order almost immediately despite their the fact that they were pretty busy. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo with zucchini and mushrooms. The food came surprisingly fast as well! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the pasta was very good. The baked garlic bread was the perfect side. The last time I came here, I ordered a seasonal salad and it came with fresh strawberries and other fruit in it and that also was above ordinary. Also, our waitress came to check on us immediately and two other times to make sure we were enjoying everything and to strike up some casual conversation. The only complaint I can scrounge up is that the pasta had a little too much Alfredo sauce and the portion was not as big as I was expecting for $19. All in all, I will return when going to or from Spokane. Great restaurant, wait staff, and chef. Thank you for the service!

We decided we had enough of fast food breakfasts on our trek out west and decided to try The Palace for our last breakfast on the road. We ordered takeout over the phone, which was easy enough. When picking up the staff member was friendly and talkative. I ordered the veggie omelet. The omelet itself was good, not greasy, but needed some salt & pepper badly. My boyfriend had the sausage gravy and biscuits which he enjoyed. All of the breakfast portions were huge, but the price was $28 for two people which I found unusually high for breakfast. Both of us had hash browns and they really needed salt & pepper, they were very bland. Unfortunately we were in a hotel room and didn't have salt & pepper to add ourselves. Cooking with less salt is commendable but I would suggest that take out orders include a few to-go packets of salt & pepper in the future.

Our visit did not start off well when we waited a long time for the waitress to take our order. My wife wanted to order the sweet & spicy pork loin dinner - - - but neither the waitress or the kitchen staff knew anything about the entree featured on the restaurant's marquee above the front door! Go figure! The halibut fish & chips were good - - - but you better plan to place a double order if you arrive with a big appetite as the serving size was small. The grilled skirt steak was a big mistake. Again, the serving size was small. The side of vegetables were over-cooked to the point of no return. The baked potato suffered from the same problem - I'm sure twice-baked potatoes spend half as much time in the oven as did the potato that was served up with the steak. Big disappointment.

My husband and I travel a lot for our job, so we eat at a lot of places. I found this place on Yelp and took the advice of the reviews of other yelpers. My husband ordered a Nacho Grande he had chili on top of it, the Nacho was enormous, I ate some of it and it tasted yummy. I ordered the special of the day: Eggs Benedict I had read the reviews on this dish and planned on trying it, but to find it as a special for $6.99 I was very delighted. I was asked if I wanted regular hashbrowns or stuffed hashbrowns, I decided on the stuffed for $1.29 which isn't so bad it brought my meal to $8.30 or there abouts. The eggs benedict were cooked just right, the hollandaise sauce was delicious. Everything was perfect for this I would rate it a 5, the stuffed hashbrowns were fantastic lots of flavor from the sour cream, cheese, and chives it had a crisp texture with the mingled flavors it was awesome I rate this a 5 as well. The service was awesome, I like the atmosphere I would totally recommend everyone try this place its very delicious.

Great food, breakfast fruit cup AWESOME. Strong coffee. Most important friendly service

  • Tim D.

I'd come back just for the stuffed hashbrowns. Seriously, whoever came up with that deserves a medal. I've only had breakfast here the once, but it was pretty good, and really, the stuffed hashbrowns were awesome. Good sized portions. Good coffee from the local roaster. All in all a very good breakfast experience.

One of my favorite places to eat in Ellensburg. The food is delicious! The waitresses have always been pretty awesome (one couldn't stop laughing when I ordered french dip - no dip, haha). The seating is nice, comfy, and private which is one of my favorite things about the restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, very local and friendly. I just wish more amazing restaurants like this were closer to campus!

If your all excited about "Reverse Happy Hour" don't be. They close the kitchen around 2000, so you can't get anything to eat. That sucks and totally says this is a backwater town.

So far, I've been to the Palace Café twice, and I can say that I'll return again in the future! The service both times was wonderful, pulled (it seems) from college-age ladies who are actually interested in making sure you have a nice experience. All of the interactions I saw (both our own and watching the checkout stand) were professional and competent, and no one really seemed frazzled or bent out of shape. The food was hearty and tasty; somewhat a mid-American fare of hearty potatoes and fried things. The first time I had a chicken fried steak, and the second time I had a turkey melt. Both times the food was delicious, hot and freshly made. This was something of a good find in Ellensburg, and while I don't think that I would go back there just to eat at the Palace Café, I know that if I'm going through town I'll time it to put this on the list of places to stop!

  • Linnea T.

I have dined at the Palace several times and I can only really recommend their breakfast. Lunch and dinner here is very mediocre in both food and attention of the serve staff, but when it comes to breakfast they somehow ramp-up both the service and quality of food into high gear. Breakfast items always turn out well and their baked goods are tasty. Only complaint is that during this past weekend's visit my husband complained that his hash browns had the taste and consistency of being frozen and re-heated. It may have just been a fluke because every other time everything from the fruit to the eggs has tasted incredibly fresh. Three stars overall as I recommend this place for breakfast only, unless you prefer a slow, quiet lunch/dinner and don't mind uninspired cafe food.

  • Emily O.

I was disappointed coming to the Palace Cafe. I have heard that it was a great restaurant, someone even called it "fine dining". I went with my mom and her friend for lunch and we all disliked our lunches. My cobb salad had old eggs on it, the lettuce seemed wilted, even the olives tasted bad. I love cobb salads and it is not that complicated to get it right. My mom ordered a sandwich and the green bean fries. I tried the green bean fries and almost liked them, but the oil it was fried in tasted funny. I have never had green bean fries before, but I can see how they would be delicious if fried correctly. My mom said her sandwich was so-so. My mom's friend ordered the french onion soup and could hardly eat it. The soup was way too salty. Based on the quality of the food we received I will not be coming back to the Palace Cafe.

  • Megan S.

I've been here for lunch/dinner a handful of times. Overall, I would say this place isn't terrible, but it's nothing out of the ordinary. With the limited selection of good places to eat in Ellensburg, I would recommend coming here. It won't be one of your most amazing meals, but you probably won't regret eating here. A little overpriced. Salads are meh, burgers are meh, fries are tasty, service can be slow, but at least it's not a chain, right?

  • Sam W.

I have been to this place a few times and its always been amazing! It does not matter what you order, its going to be fresh and delicious! I ordered the special of the day which was a turkey sandwich, soup AND salad! All for only $7.79! Each item was excellent, from the Taco soup to the fresh salad with great dressing, to the tasty sandwich! My other two dining companions each picked something different and were all pleasantly surprised. I wish a place like this was closer to my house. I know that if i am anywhere near Ellensburg, there is no doubt that i will be coming back here again!

Had a club & my bf had the grilled cheese. The club was good, ( its hard to screw up a club.. ) and the grilled cheese with feta cheese was delightfully tasty as well. Also, give the sweet potatoes a try, they are delish!! Service was good, very welcoming and attentive staff. Will def be back on my next trip to Eburg:)

I like this place. Always nice food. Nice ambiance. I have 'wined' (whined?) and dined here (actually not much wine) through two kids who attended Central WA U. Today we celebrate a rugby victory OVER CWU by WSU 72-0. Daughter plays for WSU and wanted a New York steak. OK. You win, you eat steak.

I haven't even received my food yet and I'm rating this place 5 stars. The wait staff is beautiful and pleasant, the atmosphere is inviting and service is prompt. Worth the drive into town. Full breakfast menu available all day. Eggs Benedict til noon* Holly is one of the hottest hostesses this world has seen.

Visited the Palace Cafe for dinner a few months back with a couple companions. I ordered the cobb salad, as I am not a huge meat eater and this place is definitely a steak and burger style spot. Really liked the atmosphere, and this place was fairly busy for a Thursday night. Could definitely see a lot of birthday celebrations and the like occurring. Initially, we had reservations but were not seated for about 10 minutes- not great but certainly not awful considering how busy this place was. Upon receipt of our meals, one of my fellow eaters noticed there was meat on his nachos- he is a vegetarian and had specifically asked for no meat. The issue was quickly corrected, but when it came time for dessert my lactose intolerant companion received pie a la mode even though they requested no ice cream due to being lactose intolerant. This was also rectified, but the pie was taken to go as by that time we had spent about two hours in the restaurant. Would definitely visit again because my salad was good, but would recommend going when they are less busy and making sure your order is correct before you bite in.

Fun, nice place to eat, lots of variety on the menu, nice old fashioned setting, we have enjoyed everything we've ordered at the Palace Cafe. Have had their huge pancakes, eggs, yummy burgers and salads too. Friendly servers, nice ambience, be sure to eat here!

Great for Families and Breakfast. But the best is the Bar's happy hour, $2 well's. Nough said, I have never had the Bar food, all is fried... Great Bartender on Sunday nights too.

I can only comment on the breakfasts here but they have always been quite tasty. The last few times I've been to the Palace I've had the eggs benedict and they do the best job on eggs benedict of any place I've ever eaten.

Many a latte. Many an egg omelette. Many a home made whoole wheat toast with butter! I liked things before the remodel. For a year or so I knew everyone who worked there; then a huge change. 'll be back possibly in my next state crossing to try some lunch.

the breakfast was so bad I honestly couldnt believe it. A good example of the worst kind of food establishment that still hangs on......it almost seems impossible that they are still in business.

First time to go to ellensburg. Parked on the main street and the palace cafe was just nearby. Grabbed me this big sign for the tbone steak for about 13 dollars. I ordered the 24 oz prime rib which cost about 28 dollars nut believe me that is a looooot of work. Comes wig salad, baked potato and vegies. My friend ordered the fish an chips. She liked it very much. The food was delicious and quite a lot. The stake wasn't warm enough when I got it. The service was friendly.

The GPS gave us a few choices in Ellensburg, and fortunately, the one we chose was closed! We walked down the street, looking for what the Fates might provide, and it was The Palace Restaurant. The prime rib spoke to my friend & I and fortunately they had just enough to serve us 2 12+oz. beautifully rare portions, even though it was just before closing time. There was a lot of food! Curiously, they didn't bring horseradish or mention it on the menu, but when we asked, they brought a sour cream-horseradish sauce and some straight POWERFUL stuff that complemented the meat perfectly. My baked potato was good, the side salad portion was reasonable, if not exciting, and the side veggies weren't anything special, but who really cared when you had 12.5oz of beef to get through. My friend ate just about everything, but I brought some prime rib home, which my son consumed the next day. I didn't even have a chance to see how it would be. He liked it though! I'd definitely return. The deserts looked pretty tasty, but we had absolutely no room to test them out. Perhaps it's not what I would call a true "4 star" restaurant, but absolutely better than 3 star. The servers were all beautiful, friendly & helpful. Pretty good combo.

Came here on a busy Saturday night. Waited 30 minutes but worth the wait. Super staff. Great IPA! The fish special was a Chilean Sea Bass which was prepared perfectly and had a side of rice with vegis. Perfection. Blue cheese dressing was excellent. Don't pass this gem up!!! Also try the pineapple upside down shot. Incredible!

Very good food. GET THE FRIES!!!! They are the old style beer batter fries....SO SO yummy. They actually got rid of them once and then brought them back because people complained about them not having them. I like them with tartar sauce. The fried green beans are surprisingly tasty as well. I like those with honey mustard. Their bar doesn't make fabulous drinks except for one: the upside-down pineapple cake shot....GET IT. It is the most delicious shot....hands down!! Oh and the quesadillas.....are like gourmet quesadillas. If you're thinking about getting them, get 'em....they do NOT disappoint. You really can't go wrong here.

I agree with other reviewers that the Eggs Benedict are super good, and that's all I really go to the Palace for. I've had good lunches/dinners there before, but I've found it to be very hit and miss. For instance, I had a delicious burger the first time I went to the Palace, and the second time I ordered it again, only to find it significantly less delicious, somehow. This has happened with other items as well, so that I no longer bother to go except for breakfast. The Eggs Benedict has been good every time. So far.

Came here for breakfast... had the eggs benedict and it was okay... Definitely not the best as the menu states. Although their stuffed hash browns were to die for! You HAVE to order your hash browns stuffed!

I think I have to disagree with some of the reviews here. I really enjoyed my breakfast, as did my friend. She had the Eggs Benedict with they "guarantee" is the best around. It did not disappoint. The dish was covered in a delicious hollandais sauce. My friend said she would have taken it home in a little container if she hadn't slurped it all up before we left. I went with the traditional bacon and cheese omelet, and for the bacon fans out there -- let me tell you -- this does not disappoint! It was packed full of meat! The hash browns were crispy (just how I like them) and they served the toast with freezer jam on the side (my favorite because it is so sweet). Overall, I would recommend this place. Especially after a night at the Gorge when you need a breakfast to recover from the festivities, as we did.

Nothing special but a fine place for lunch. Nice variety of menu options with some innovative items. Good service, generous portions.
