I've only ordered the chicken pad Thai so based on that it has been fine. They are quick. It is about $11 for a meal and two people can definitely share or if you are just one person you will have enough for two meals.

Great food. Great service. Attention to detail. Got fresh shrimp rolls with peanut sauce and Prawn Pumpkin Curry. Absolutely amazing flavors! Also ordered with extra veggies at no extra charge. Highly recommended!!

I can't believe how many times I've passed this place and never once went in til last weekend.. It is literally the best Thai place (that is 5 minutes away from my house!). Come here you'll thank me later edmonds/shoreline area!

Me and My girlfriend stayed in Edmonds as she had exam centre here. We had lunch here, and I'd say the taste was good. Service was quick and good. Quantity was good as usual. We had vegetable red curry with spring rolls.... Ummmm yummy!!! Would recommend to anyone who likes Thai cuisine and is nearby.

Impromptu dinner with the WH. He had a "hankering" for Thai, so he chose this place when he popped on Yelp to see what was nearby his place. Cute little place in a strip mall. Currently, they have a large banner showing "WE OPEN SUNDAY", so the location isn't too hard to miss. Interior was nice. They didn't cram too many tables into the place, so it felt like it could hold an ample number of people for a small locale without getting too cramped. Though they chose a lot of orange in the overall decor, it was done well and made the place have a really nice atmosphere. Fancier than it was without being a douche about it. Limited wine/beer menu, no liquor, Thai tea and a few others, but mostly just soda and juice. I'm going to guess that because we ordered drinks (Him a sprite, me a Singha), is why we didn't get any water at all....but it would have been nice to have had some. Wasn't a big deal, I didn't ask for any at any point, either--just something I noticed. He went with the Chicken Cashew Delight. I opted for the simplest thing I could think of on the menu--the massive 2 ingredient Garlic Prawns. (It's just prawns and broccoli). He was pleased with his, and insisted I try a few bites- Very flavorful, tons of veggies and they do not skimp on the cashews or the chicken here. Mine was great. Perfectly done broccoli and prawns well seasoned and swimming in just the right amount of garlic, with a nice little kick (I asked for 3 stars) Service was nice. Friendly and quick and then just let us be. No delay for check when it was time to go. Overall, really good time and good food. It's super close to WH's place--so I'm sure we'll be here again soon.

Really like this place. The service is fast and they have pretty good food. Phad Kee Mao is my favorite. The vegetables are always crisp and fresh tasting. If you're going for lunch, get there before 11:30 or it will be busy during the week. DO NOT trust 2Go services, they completely housed me on a delivery order for my business meeting.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the north end. The people here are wonderfully friendly and you can tell it is family owned yet the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. Service is attentive and not hovering. The decor and colors are inviting. The food is good and very flavorful. Phad Thai has been pretty solid, as with the Pad See Eww, when it's cold out and rainy, we have to have Tom Kah Gai, so tasty and good for the soul as well! Their peanut sauce is crazy addictive and we recommend you get the chicken satay or swimming rama. Their larb gai is good, with wonderful notes of citrus and spice, perfect for a warm day or if you're trying to watch your caloric intake. :-) The Thai BBQ chicken is good as well, love the curry and coconut marinade they use. If you love eggplant, order their sauteed fresh eggplant, it's soo good and vegetarian as well. There are vegetarian options of course.. If you have room and it's in season do order the mango sticky rice! The best I've had up here in WA.

We've lived in Mountlake Terrace for over 25 years, but this was our first visit. Sad news, considering they are literally down the hill from us. We had the standard pad Thai and pad kee mao, and started with the calamari. The calamari was less crispy than I like and maybe more on the greasy side, but tasted fine. They were very accommodating about adding broccoli to my pad Thai, and the dish came out beautifully arranged. Both main dishes were great and spiciness was a little forgiving, so my 3-star was more like a 2. Will probably request 4 or 5 at our next visit.

Loving Thai food, I have eaten it all from here to portland. Found this place by accident and decided to try it. We ordered the typical Phad Thai and Pad Ke Mow (drunken noodles). Wow! Both sauces were awesome! The spice level was on fire which I love and it was great. Some of the best dishes I have had. I would actually put this against Pok Pok which is in a category all of its own! Good food. Try!

We liked everything about this place, first the food, fresh ingredients and flavors, not too overwhelming, then the atmosphere and the decor, the owners, the service... Hope to go back many many more times...

My favorite Thai place up north! First off, let's start with the decor.. Which I think is amazing for such a little place. My most recent visit was yesterday, on Valentine's day and they had candles on every table. Customer service is great, the owner always greets you and asks where would you like to sit. In the 4 or so times I've been here, I've never had a bad customer service experience. Now moving on to FOOD! Consistently delicious, I usually get one of their curry dishes, both red and yellow curry are great. I've also tried the cashew chicken and the phad thai and they are both fantastic! Prices are very reasonable, they do charge extra for a side of rice but I think overall the price is good and since you're getting great food, I don't mind it. Bonus..Their menu says no MSG added. Will be back many more times!

This place is in a strip mall in the "Edmonds International District". Extremely friendly owners/people. Food is pretty consistent. 4 star means 4 star. Portion size is a little smaller than some but still a good value. Thai iced tea is way too sweet. Other than that you can expect a good meal moderately priced. Crispy garlic chicken is sooo good!

I am not a Siamese cat but I love Thai food and I'm picky about it. I love this Tasty Thai's Phad Thai because it is not orange like chili peppers over whelming noodles. It is very hard to find non orange Phad Thai. This is why I love this place. I am a repeat customer.

Great lunch plates more then enough to fill my fat ass we order the green curry and a pad Thai both were great. The waiter was helpful and friendly no reason we wouldn't go back

This place was my absolute favourite when I lived nearby, and I really need to get back in there soon! The service is always prompt and very courteous, and my dad and I always felt like welcome regulars. The owner loved to tease me about how spicy I order my food, but never ever skimped. The decor is classy without being stuffy, and very inviting. Great for a date, or just catching up with friends. The pad thai is delicious, seriously, soooo good. And when you say "five stars", they really give you five stars, not just "humor the silly white person and put a pepper flake in it". Have also really enjoyed the pad see eww, but I stick with the classic pad thai almost every time. Their little spring rolls are crazy addictive, no matter how much I know I can't eat them all, I always try!! The soup...ooooh, how I miss their soup. Sweet, tangy, perfect. Dangit, now I have to make a trip back there in the next few days, just thinking about their soup.

Love this place, I come here regularly, if your looking for something that is healthy and clean and tastes FANTASTIC this is the place. Low carb, high protein and lots of vegetables, they have a very delicious selection. Love it! See you soon!

This place makes my 12 hour Thursdays way less awful! It has been my weekly tradition for about a month now to get pad Thai for myself every Thursday. I chose this place mostly because it is two minutes away from my job, They do a decent lunch special for a lot of their popular dishes, so I make sure I come in while those prices are going on. Tasty Thai consistently makes delicious, prompt and actually spicy (I order 5 star and it is really 5 star spice - effing finally) and the man working the counter (owner?) is always extremely friendly. I just wish they included the soup you get when you dine in for the to go order as well!

When there is only one table with customers, a thinking server would not seat new customers immediately next to them. It is the job, obligation, and responsibility of waitstaff to make every patron's dining experience as good as it can get. Seating customers as closely together as they can be packed makes the server's job easier, but the customers' experience is much diminished. And that is just the beginning. We were asked about a beverage within a few minutes; our tea was brought out promptly. When the waitress came to take our order, the cell phone in her pocket rang! She mumbled something as she scampered off. A few minutes later, somebody else came to take our orders. I ordered "Tofu pad thai. Thai hot, ridiculously hot; 7 stars or 8 stars, very hot." This is out of 5 stars. The pad thai I got was fairly tasty, but had WAY too much fish sauce and was maybe 2.5 stars; 3 if I'm being generous. My wife told me the food she got was rather bland, contrary to the name of this establishment. The "waitress" never inquired as to how our food was. When we were almost finished, the cook came out and asked us if everything was okay and whatever whatever (I don't recall). I told him that my pad thai was 2.5 stars, not 7 as I had ordered. He said he'd put more on next time (or something to that effect). It is sad and/or cute that he thinks there will be a next time. Mediocre food (at best), wretched, rude service from a waitstaff of mouth-breathers insures that we will not return. You are warned.

I've been a regular beef phad Thai take out for couple of years but lately my last 5 times ordered I've noticed the amount of beef in each order is so little to a point that I can't justify for the dinner price i paid. I'd say there's only about 5 -7 pieces of beef in my order. Very disappointed!

Location/Parking: Next to Ranch 99 on Aurora. Ambiance: Clean, newish looking decor - nothing too artsy or out there - the usually darkish neutral tones. Small - under 10 tables, quiet music playing in the background, no loud TV, nice place to chat with one on one - lots of couples in the place, not as good for groups larger than 6 or so. I think quiet is the key here - I've been to too many restaurants where you're shouting across the table to be heard so this place was quite refreshing. Service: The server (I think he's the owner) is very nice - very attentive. Food: My mouth is still burning :) We ordered 3 star which I can ordinarily handle pretty well, but I think I'll size down here in the future. Got the Massaman curry which I don't usually like but they make it taste more like Panang which I do like. The curry had huge chunks of everything - pieces of beef that you have to eat in bites - very tender - more like stew meat. I'll be back :)

Tasty Thai of Edmonds is literally our Friday night (or whenever) comfort food. Excellent variety and quality of menu, personable staff, and convenient location for pick-up or dine-in. Lunch and Dinner both are great choices. Prices are great as well. You won't be disappointed if you choose Tasty Thai (and this is coming from someone who has eaten there ~50 times, AND tried almost all of the other Thai places in the Lynnwood/Shoreline area). You can't go wrong at Tasty Thai.

Really great Thai food! Really nice atmosphere & fast service with a smile! My friend and I shared a couple of noodle dishes that also came with rice (brown rice $1 more). These guys have awesome Thai Coffee too!

Amazing Phad Thai, some of the best I've ever had. But smaller portions with the new ownership. Pretty expensive considering the small servings. And terrible background music!! I don't particularly enjoy listening to Katy Perry while eating authentic Thai food. I recommend takeout.

A lovely little place in Edmonds located in the parking lot near the Ranch 99 Market. It was recommended to me by one of the women in my swim class. One day after class, six of us headed down to enjoy a leisurely lunch. I started my lunch with a Thai iced coffee which was nicely made. I split an order of the vegetable tempura with the table. It wasn't greasy with a good assortment of vegetables. My selection for lunch was one of their salads with tender charbroiled beef with cucumbers, red onions, and tomatoes in a spicy lime sauce. The interior was nice without being ostentatious for its location. There is ample parking in their lot and clean bathrooms. In the women's bathroom though, there was a scale in between the sink and the toilet, an odd accessory to be sure. The staff was friendly on my first visit and on subsequent visits. There's loads of Thai places that I could recommend but if you're on the north side, hit on Tasty Thai for some consistent offerings for a decent price.

The chicken pad Thai I had was tasty. The owner was our server and he was really friendly! He is Yelp aware, even encouraged us to leave a review! My water was never below halfway, we also didn't even have to ask him to split our checks; he read our minds! The interior decor was pleasant also. I'll definitely be back here, especially with how awesome the owner/manager was to us.

Good food, and friendly staff. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I liked the way they had it set up. The Pad Thai was a little too much on the sweet side, but the Phad Kee Mao was very tasty. For those of you that like Drunken Noodles, they are very similar. We also enjoyed the crab rangoon/puff type appetizer. We will for sure visit them again.

Awww man the food here is awesome. Honestly every dish is good but make sure you get BEEF. I don't know what they do to it but its sooooo tender. Had panang curry with beef and that was rediculous. Spicy is on heavy side so order accordingly.

a thai restaurant located in the same parking lot with ranch 99 market takes a big chance based on the hardcore ethnic clientele at ranch market. think of t&t seafood and bcd tofu house (that are always full) and what the shoppers at ranch would think of their food. picky, picky, picky, yes? remember, two other restaurants in the same complex have gone out of business. tasty thai is clear across the parking lot from ranch market and the other restaurants; it is by the rite aid and the tire shop. at first glance based on the overwhelmingly caucasian clientele (who seemed obviously not ranch market shoppers), we expected very americanized thai flavors especially when we saw phad tai as the first item listed on the lunch menu. we ordered the panang and green curries from the lunch menu and were pleasantly surprised. the panang had a robust unapologetic flavor even at a lowly 3 stars out of 5. the green curry was smooth and silky at 2 stars out of 5 with just a bit of bite for the times when a kinder gentler curry fits the mood. definitely worth a second try for the other items on the menu.

I grabbed some Pad Thai from here on Saturday afternoon. I was really happy with the service, which was very friendly, and the food - it was delicious! Easily some of the best Pad Thai that I've had. And the portion size was huge! Location is fairly close to my house and there is plenty of parking, as this is located in the same parking lot area as Ranch 99 Market. I was a bit disappointed with the price. Most places have an option to get only tofu and it is cheaper than if you were to choose chicken, beef, or seafood. In the case of this Pad Thai, the tofu already comes in the dish and then you add your choice of meat and it's all one price. Since I wanted tofu only, I sort of expected the price to be cheaper, but it was the same as if I had added meat. $9.75 is a bit expensive anyway for a veggie-free dish, but the main issue here is that I paid the same price for tofu as someone else did for beef or chicken. Not really fair. Might be nice if they adjust this for those of us who don't like meat in our Pad Thai! Overall, I did enjoy my meal here and I know I will be back. I'll just have to keep in mind the price and not let it bother me too much.

Best Pad Thai EVER! Great massamun neua that has really tender beef and perfectly cook potatoes. Their mangoes & sticky rice are in season again! I have to come here once a week or I get grumpy.

I have tried this place a couple of times, and have been disappointed with what service I am always receiving. Ordered Phad Thai for pick up. Lunch menu mentions that Rice is included in the order. Once picked up and headed home, 1 out of 2 Phad Thais had rice. Another incident I has with the location would be when I ordered Phad Thai for pick up once again, but I had to change my mind due to a personal reason, so I called a min or two later and mentioned to them to cancel my order (knowing that it would take 10 mins to make from experience with the previous orders in the past) Who ever I spoke with was very rude and to let me know that the food has been cooked already and to "never do this again". I admit, calling to cancel an order for pick up may be a pet peeve that a restaurant would not like to hear. But c'mon, a min after I have just placed the order? Anyways, their Phad Thai is good. But with the service that this place produces isn't.

I had the pad thai, which was okay. Portions were extremely generous. I had little more than a half to take home with me. Service was great. Food took less than fifteen minutes to get onto the table and the waitress was attentive. The only reason I didn't give another star is that the food was just "okay". The flavor all seemed to be there but I've had better. I also am a lover of spicy and when I ask for food to be to be Thai spicy, I expect it to be a burning heat. My food can be better described as mild. Overall, good dining experience.

Again I wish there was a way to add 1/2 star ratings, because this is a step above "OK'...so I will "round up". :) I my stomach felt so empty this morning that I swear my tummy growls echoed. I was craving some good Pad Thai...so off I went to the usual haunt of me and my buddy at Fenix Tattoo... The portions are on the larger side, and with the lunch menu, they start you with some soup AND include an individual side of steamed rice!! The service is quick and friendly. My pad thai had perfectly balanced flavors. I have a sissy stomach, so I don't ask for any kind of heat...but you can, and I'm sure they will deliver. I've yet to be disappointed.

Basic + Tasty Thai Food * The Pla Tod Lard Plig (deep fried fish) is very tasty. * The selection is basic: Pud Kee Mao, Phad Thai, cashew chicken, etc, all recommended. * The prices do seem a bit on the higher side for Thai food. * The setting is fairly small, and has a "family owned & operated" feel to it. * Not my first choice, but good overall: good food and fair (but inconsistent) service. Tasty Thai = worth checking out sometime, but there are currently better local options if you want to impress your friends.

It's an attractive interior. If you have a chance, go when it's dark out so you can get a better sense of how the flower-inspired hanging lights play with the grass blade window decals. Combined with the deeper interior colors and the large wooden bar, there is a lot of visual interest to an otherwise very small, mini-mall shop. The food was good, and their 1 to 5 spice rating seems right for this part of the world. Being late, we ordered but one appetizer and two dishes. I was very happy with the portion sizes, and even happier with the freshness of the vegetables, all of which still retained good color and the right crispness. The one meat dish we had included calamari, and although pre-frozen, it was not delivered over-cooked or rubbery. We were a little less impressed with the sauces on each dish, all of them having a generic out-of-the-can flavor resulting in feeling that one could have done this at home. Only our spring rolls really disappointed though, looking and tasting like the commercially made, frozen from a bag, deep fried and resold items that they were. The true let down though was the service. It wasn't that late, but the place was empty save for one other two-top. That amount of customers apparently didn't warrant attentive service, as we saw our server only when she dropped the menus and swung quickly back to take the order, then again when we finally flagged her down to pay and go. Food delivered by someone else, and drink re-orders were a flag anyone down you can event - often the woman behind the bar that was really doing her best to never look up. Way too much effort, and why are you now refilling my water as I'm literally getting up to leave?

  • Ben G.

I thought the food was ok, well... It just seemed very, very dry, from my recollection of it. I mean, it just wasn't very flavorful. The meat was overcooked essentially. I mean, I've had good Thai food before, and this WASN'T it... The service was a little better, but the waitresses seemed a tad... nervous. They wanted to please, but they did seem a tad "snippy", something along those lines... There was a very strong female presence in the workers there, I didn't see a single dude working there, interesting... I did like how they had a Christian kind of thing going on-I read that somewhere-either in the menu or somewhere else, it made the place a bit more wholesome, etc. Also, it was kind of overpriced, honestly, for the quality and amount of food they served. Anyway, all in all, this place isn't that good. But who knows, maybe under new management, they may have improved somewhat...

Best Thai I have ever had. We have been going to Tasty Thai since 2005. Have tried many other places while traveling, or in different areas. Nothing compares. They're fast, consistent, great customer service, and DELICIOUS! Amazing Phad Thai and Cashew Chicken!!

  • Dorje T.

Serious thai food! Other reviewers have said this is the best Thai food in Seattle and they may be correct. Prik khing is one of my favorite dishes and this place has the best I have ever had. Period. Everything is solid, delicious and excellent. The owner seems as if he is always there, remembers you and shows genuine interest. I could eat here every day.

I really like the spicy noodles! But if your a tradional Thai lover of the spices then you're be dissapointed on the levels they have. I got the level 5 which is the highest but it barely tasted spicy. Food was good but I was hoping for a little more kick!

  • Brian H.

I never leave hungry or dissatisfied. Their beef phad thai is my favorite dish. They DON'T use ketchup in their phad thai so the noodles are less heavy than other thai restaurants. However, it seems to me that the meat is cooked a little differently depending on when I go. Regardless, the meat either tastes really good, or REALLY REALLY good, so I can't really complain. Paneng, chicken, and green curry also taste wonderful! The waitresses can seem preoccupied at times, but are always friendly and provide great service when you have their attention. It is also really easy to grab their attention so this doesn't detract much from the dining experience. A great thing about Tasty Thai is that it provides a wonderful dining environment that provides flexibility for your situational eating needs. The perfect mix of a cool/classy and casual dining experiences means you can go there for a date or in sweatpants with your buddies.

Friendly owner ( + server??), delicious food, what would you want more for a dish of Thai. It's a nice restaurant for this area. I was too hungry and craving for Thai so just stopped by on the way home. There were people kept coming (busy) in and the atmosphere was pretty descent and cozy. Food was also good except the fish (sweet & tangy, garlic sauce) was overly cooked. It was a little dry. But overall a pretty nice restaurant with the kind staffs.

Portions are very large!!! Ordered the chicken satay and beef pad Thai. The chicken was slightly undercooked and the beef was rather tough and dry. The noodles were tasty.

The food is pretty Americanized. How? I asked for 3 stars for the green curry and it barely tickled my spicy sensors on my tastebuds. Not only that, the waitress never asked us how spicy we wanted our food unless we tell her directly. My sister's pad thai was just ok...could have tasted better if it was spicier as well even though she never asked how many stars she wanted. The pad khee mao is just meh. Do not order the chicken salad on the lunch menu because it's a total rip-off. It's basically pieces of lettuce and chicken with some vegges and some side dressing for around $8. I could probably make that at home myself. Besides the negativity, they do give you a lot of food on the lunch menu in which they included rice as well. You can order 3 dishes to feed about 4 people. Although the food was good, I'm all about the spiciness but unfortunately that didn't deliver. The service was pretty decent and we did not feel ignored at all. I may come back again for lunch but I'll have to clarify that I want my food THAI spicy, not American spicy.

i like my food SPICY, and they did it well. at all thai restaurants, when they ask me how many stars, i say 10, 15, or 20..either way, it's NEVER spicy enough, and i end up adding some crushed pepper to it. i did the same thing here, and it was a GOOD spice. wowee..there's only one other place i've never had to add extra pepper to, and this was a good..breathe through your teeth spicy. just the way i like it. the food was awesome, but i'm giving 4 stars because we were ignored after we got our food until they brought the bill without us asking for it (only a few minutes after we got the food, too).

    (4)

Nom! Their pad thai is perfect. 3 stars, not too spicy, not too sweet. The service was good and the prices weren't too bad. Best thai food around, hands down.

Horrible Service!! Food is good however the service sucked. Always keeps us waiting plus so much talking from people who work there, we saw that our food was ready the girl was too busy talking to notice to bring it out to us and we were on lunch break. The food is also a little over priced, tastes great I stopped going because of the amount of disrespect and service I got, I work down the street and I would rather drive to Talay Thai in lynnwood, that place is AWESOME!!

I was here with my family and we found this place tucked into a lot. I ordered green curry which was delicious. My grandpa ordered a seafood curry if I remember correctly which i tried and also tasted nice. I can't remember what else we had but everyone was pretty satisfied. The portions were nice too. Our bill came to about $90 for five of us, you decide if that's a lot or a little On the other side though, our food took forever to cook, I don't know why.. It wasn't that busy. Pretty good but nothing special, if your in the area I would say yea, try it.

This place is amazing. Seriously. I have searched far and wide for Thai food this good, and I've yet to find a place on par with it. Number one, you definitely have to try the pad see iew. It's kind of like a mix between the best thing you've ever eaten, and an orgasm. It's amazing. Their pad thai is great. Hands down, best I've ever had. Flavorful, soft, and absolutely amazing...give it a squeeze of lime, and it's out of this world. For something slightly lighter, go with their Tasty Thai salad. The peanut sauce they make is absolutely killer, and it's not so heavy that it overwhelms the crisp lettuce, tomato and cucumber. The Thai iced tea is great, too! It's delicious, refreshing, and just...something you want to put in your mouth, okay? Service is really great, too. The staff are always friendly and very willing to substitute, rearrange or do whatever it is you need done with the food. They're great, and definitely deserve the tips the girlf and I always leave for them. Lastly...the restaurant itself is really, really pretty. Their walls and light fixtures are just superb, and make the dining experience even better. However, even if you were eating this food in a ramshackle hovel, it would still be the best Thai food you'll ever eat.

I love this place. It seems to be pretty low sodium food, and that is really important to me because I have problems with hydration. Even though its low in sodium, it still tastes SOOOO good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!

Love this place. Great place to pick up some quick lunch, be served by nice people and consistently good food. Large portions too!

Okay Thai food, a bit "American-ized" for me. During the dinner rush kitchen can get a bit backed up. Service was fine and the restaurant clean and tidy. I always ask for 5 star spicy and it barely tweaks my taste buds. Cramped seating area not a place to take larger groups.

Their food may not be all that authentic, but it sure is TASTY! Ive only tried the Chicken Phad Thai, but i was pretty happy with the overall flavor. It wasn't greasy or oversauced, and I ordered it mild and it was very mild. Next time I go I will definately venture farther into the "spicy" realm, knowing their mild is truly mild. I will also be going back to try their curry dishes, have never tried a red thai curry, i think im ready!!

This is my go-to Thai place. I work in the area and I'm equally close to Tasty Thai, Talay Thai, Siver Spoon, and Amom Thai. Tasty Thai is my favorite. The Pad Thai is always great, and I've tried pretty much all of their curries and they are all wonderful. My only complaint is that the lunch take out portion, while very generous, could use a little more meat (you usually get 2 or 3 oz of meat at most in their curries). Other than that, this is a great place.

A solid Thai food restaurant for us "suburban" folk! I have tried quite a few Thai restaurants around the Puget Sound, and I give Tasty Thai two thumbs up. I've been there for lunch twice. They give you a cup of hot and sour soup and it has a hint of sweetness. An interesting twist! The first time I got the green curry and would have to agree that I've tasted better at other locations. However they keep their eggplant from getting too smushy, so gold star! The second time I had the pad thai and I was kind of disappointed. It was good enough, but was kind of spicy-less. Maybe I just need to adjust my star rating for this place. Also, they aren't stingy with their rice. I keep them at a 4 star because their service is awesome possum! They are super nice and super fast! They have a great team there. Double cheers to the waitress for pulling a full day in stilettos! Gotta give the girl a high-five.

Our dish had plenty of noodles, a lot of freshly stir-fried vegetables, ample amounts of meat, and an abundance of the most delicious spicy noodle sauce I have ever tasted in any Thai dish. I'm looking forward to trying out the dishes: Green Curry, Phad Thai, Swimming Rama. Yum!

My husband and I were looking for a place to try curry. He chose Tasty Thai. From the moment we walked in we were greeted. The service was great, very friendly and the place was very clean. It's a small cozy sized restaurant but you don't feel cramped. We got our beverages right away and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. We absolutely loved the curry. We shared an order of black rice pudding with coconut milk. That is my new favorite dessert. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold. Reasonable prices. This is a must try spot!

My wife and I have been eating here for the last five years. We love it! Their spring rolls are tasty and so is the Pad Thai, Pad Prik King, Red Curry, Cashew Chicken and I always order a Thai Ice Tea. I have never had a bad meal here. I turned my parents and my 7yr old nephew onto this place a couple of years ago. It was a big leap for my parents to try Thai food but one trip to this place is all it took. They now call us once a month and want to take us out to dinner.

The waitress at Tasty Thai is so friendly and helpful. That's definitely a plus. The seafood special was very tasty (as you would expect), but their pad thai left something to be desired. If I could, I would've given them 3 1/2 stars.

Great Thai food. I've had the garlic shrimp and the cashew chicken. Loved both. This restaurant is always busy at lunch time. I've always gotten my food to go. Worth the wait!

Been to hundreds of Thai restaurants. I asked what was best and so I ordered the spicy noodles. The soup that came with it was Chinese soup and I've never liked this type of soup at any restaurant. The vegetables and chicken in the entree were very fresh and the flavor was delicious.

Large portions, good prices, very tasty curry and friendly service. It is possible to get it good and spicy. We'll return to work our way through the menu at Tasty Thai. Convenient location in Ranch 99 Plaza with no fuss parking.

Tasty thai is quite tasty, but way too sweet. I ordered PadThai with shrimp and Mussaman curry. Both were pretty short on the protein and overly sweet. 3star heat was around a 2star at other Thai places. All in all, I think it's overpriced by about $2 per entree, and the steamed rice should be free. Then it would be a good bargain.

Very disappointed in their vegetarian tofu dish; it was very bland (although spicy). Waitresses seemed very rushed and were not very friendly, didn't even make eye contact. They rushed our dinner and pretty much kicked us out by handing us our check telling us they were closing after we had just received our food. Didn't ask how the food was. I asked for sauce (for my bland dish), but they said they couldn't give me any sauce. Started vacuuming and rushing to clean up while people were still dining. Rudely said goodbye.

The Pad Thai was really good! I've been coming to this restaurant for a long time now, but recently I've heard that they changed the owner. I agree that the service had changed, it became friendlier and more welcoming. I've noticed at the other thai restaurants the prices had been raised, but the prices at Tasty Thai stayed the same, and the portions are quite big so I find that I have to take some home every time. I think that they kept the same recipes the same, the prices the same, and portions the same. All the times I've been here, everything has been the same, except better service. I'm pretty happy about the food I'm receiving and the service I'm getting! I'll be sure to come back, and bring my friends and family too!

Overall, this is the best of the best Thai food. Their chicken pad thai is phenomenal, and I'm a pretty harsh critic of this dish. I like the remodel; it makes the place seem more of a restaurant instead of some strip mall joint. The service is fast and very friendly. However, my favorite dish is green curry, and while these guys do a good job with it, it's not the best. For that you have to go to Tup Tim Thai. I'm still rating it five stars because the food is consistently great.

The very 1st time I tried this place was over 2 years ago and I loved it! They were nice and friendly and the food was delicious. I probably came back a total of 10 times. My last sit down was in January when my father in law was in town. The usual food I ordered did not taste the same. It wasn't as good, but their thai tea was still delicious. The last few times I made a quick stop in (summertime) only to get their delicious thai ice tea drink. And now my story for the major upset. I have ordered my thai ice tea the same way when on the go with half the amount of ice and was never charged extra for it until my very last visit. I was quite disappointed by the way they treated me and they failed to mention they were going to charge me extra because I asked for half the amount of ice in my drink (of which they never charged before). When I questioned it, the lady said in a rude tone that it was because they had to put more ice tea since I requested less ice. Well, first of all, you shouldn't be filling the ice all the way to the top anyway. I was especially disappointed the moment I turned around to head out, they spoke to each other in their Thai language and laughed. Their inconsistency in pricing, rude attitudes and also a change in the way they prepare their dishes...I decided it was time to say goodbye. Don't know what happened to generosity and a warm welcome to all customers in this place. Definitely didn't feel the Christian love nor warmth. Sad to say, but I'm never coming back.

This seems to be a family run business as the same people are in the kitchen and sweet waitress/hostess is always there upon our visits. We typically call ahead and take out but a recent remodel has made this place much more eat there attractive. The food is good, a basic Thai menu and the spice is what you order. I recommend the spring rolls, crispy and yummy! The Pad Thai is fresh, not a ketchup goo. We love the Red Curry and Prik King. It's not the best for next day as it is a bit greasy and you have to remember to order rice for take out.

Very good food and service. We had the Padd Thai. Chicken cashew delight and fried rice. The rice was ok but the other was very good. The beef appetizer was great.

I may have moved across the Country, but I'm tempted to fly back for some more of their Curry....best I've had, ever. Good blend of Flavour, Texture and Heat. Quick, friendly service too. It may be small and nondescript (in a strip mall), but very clean and it's obvious the owners take pride and enjoy what they do and do well. ---------------------------------- I'm in Maine now and I'll report more on other places from time to time from this area...but please don't hesitate to give "Tasty Thai" a Taste, you will not be dissapointed. -------------------- Taste - 5 Variety - 4 Service - 5 Price - 4 Ambience - 5 Cleanliness - 5 --------------------

i like the food here...pud thai doesn't taste like ketchup curries are good and i have a secret crush on the daughter of the owner she is so nice and pretty. she is always more than happy to help you the majority of the time before you even has to ask

I really like the food here - great panang and other curries. In many Thai restaurants I have been to, I ask for a medium-spice, and it is a veritable blast furnace! Here, a medium is right where it should be.

Fine food. Solid service. Nice family owned business. They have another location in Bellevue. Both places are good. There are some excellent seafood dishes like pad talay. You can chose the spiciness. Some dishes are better than others, but they all seem solid to me. Not as crowded as you think it should be.

I've been a loyal customer to Tasty Thai for the past 4 years, they hands down have the best pad thai I've ever had (clear sauce not red/pink). Although this is the best thai food I've had in WA, I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. The service is the worst you'll ever get. It's a family owned business and the young server(s) that have slowly taken over the front are completely unprofessional and outright rude. The last 4 or 5 times I went here I was told they were out of rice and soup an hour after they had opened (which is supposed to come with lunch entres) only to watch the inappropriately dressed waitress serve rice and soup to all the other tables in the place. I've been going here for years at least once a week and always left a 20% tip which is nothing to sneeze at in a cheap lunchtime thai restaurant, yet when I asked her to bring me soup and rice like all the other tables she attempted to insult me for being a "cheap teenager." We had some very unpleasant words, and I made sure we were close enough to the kitchen that the rest of her family could hear them because she is the only reason that place has gone downhill. My advice - find somewhere else or go with TAKE OUT. The food is not worth the terrible service and disrespect you'll find from this server.

I've been to Tasty Thai a number of times, and each time the food has been quite good. I always order the Chicken Phad Thai, and it's always to my liking. I've also had some of their egg rolls, which are also very good. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is I think it's a bit overpriced and while it's good, it's not "knock my socks off good". But it definitely does hit the spot when you want some Thai food.

This is the first place the in-laws from Kansas want to visit when they are in town. We normally order the spring roll appetizer, chicken cashew delight, mussaman neua beef curry, and chicken phad thai...all are delicious. We have frequented this place this around 2000 when we first moved to the Edmonds area.

My mother and I got three entree's and an appetizer to split and have for leftovers. Every dish was great, varying from pretty good to 'to die for'. If you're into spicy food, they got you covered - they import their chili's from Thailand every month, the food tasted authentic and 5 stars was pretty darn spicy! Great atmosphere, sincere couple working the place, made us feel very welcome (something Thai places often lack - hospitality). I've been to plenty Thai places before, many rated higher than Tasty Thai on Yelp. But this place takes the cake for me.

Not bad, not great. It will do. This place is sort of hidden in a strip mall on 99. It is easy to overlook and its location can be a little off-putting but it is actually not bad. It is not great, however, so don't get your hopes all ruffled up. The interior is pretty cute, with nice colors and modern decor. I have only gotten food to go, so maybe it is better when you order dining room service. I ordered Swimming Rama and I did not like that my spinach was raw and cold; I have gotten accustomed to warmed, slightly steamed or wilted spinach. My friend got the crispy garlic chicken and all he said was. "meh." I'll probably come back if I am reaaaaaaly don't feel like cooking.

This is a restaurant to go. The vegetables are fresh and cooked just right, they don't use msg. The foods are so flavorfull and delicious. Plus they make their own sauces which seperates them from the other thai restaurants. I always test a thai restaurant by their signature dish which is the pad thai and it was great! I also ordered the crab fried rice, which is not in the menu but if you ask for it, it is amazing! I've been going here for more than five years now and they are my favorite place to eat thai. Plus they know my favorite dishes and know me by name which is also important. The service is quick and the place is clean, which is very important to me. If your eating their the place should be clean! But most importantly, the food has to taste great, which it does! So if your looking for a different place to eat thai, this place is worth the drive and the price.

It's been over two years since we've come and we've forgotten how "Tasty" it is! See what I did there.... We ordered: Pad Kee Mao Curry Fried Rice Noodle Soup And a Thai Iced Coffee The portions aren't huge but it still easily fed a family of four (the youngest was sleeping) for under $30 before tax and tip. We'll definitely be back now that we're reaquainted!

My family and I went to Tasty Thai for lunch earlier this week (they have lunch specials until 3pm!). I had the beef pad see ew and it was tasty indeed! The place is under "new" management, although I'm not sure how "new" that is. I've been here a long time ago before said new management. The spice levels are authentic now (1 to 5, 1 being mild and 5 being DAYUMMMMN!). I underestimated the spice levels and ordered a 5-star pad see ew. I can handle my spice better than most people and the spiciness didn't take away from the flavors, but I think I would be better off toning it down to a 4-star next time. My sister ordered the spicy noodles and it looked delicious: wide rice noodles with eggs, chicken, and prawns, tossed with broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers in a spicy-ish sauce. My mom ordered the spicy red chicken curry (she subbed the chicken for tofu). It was still mildly spicy even at 1-star, so if you can't handle any spice at all, you should let them know. The curry was really good too, although it seemed to be mostly bamboo shoots and bell peppers from what I could tell. Portions were spot on (perfect for one or maybe even a little much for some, but definitely not large). Service was so attentive, it almost felt like we were being watched... maybe I was just being paranoid, but I felt like our server (likely the owner) kept walking by (maybe to see if I was choking on that 5-star pad see ew... jk). He also didn't smile much (or at all, really), adding to the intimidation factor. On a more positive note, I really like what they've done with the place, the decor is very colorful and it almost felt upscale. I also like that they printed on the bottom of each menu that this restaurant was dedicated to Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior. Kudos to them for proudly bringing their religious belief to their work and explicitly acknowledging it as part of their core values, I really respect that.

Came here for lunch with a friend because of all the good reviews and we were both really disappointed with our meals. I got the cashew chicken and she got the chicken pad Thai. Both tasted like frozen/boxed dinners and it did not taste fresh at all. The service was really bad. The only time we saw the server was when we placed our order, got our food, and received our bill. Not a place that I'll be going back to.

Can't complain. This was a small mom & pop Thai place in Edmonds/Shoreline area. Called in a red curry and pad thai lunch to go - with brown rice. They gave huge portions and my only complaint was that it was a little lacking in flavor. Will try again if I need something quick and easy and have to stay in the Shoreline area.

Really really delicious Thai food! My friends have told me about this place so I decided to check it out, and it was not disappointing! I'll tell you why. -The food is simply fresh and delicious. No I've never been to thailand to taste authentic local thai food, but dang, it feels as if it's close to the authentic food you'd get in the country. We ordered pad thai, pad kee mao, and the beef noodle soup and all three were so flavorful and delicious! The beef noodle tasted similar to pho, but oilier and stronger in thai flavors. SO GOOOD! -Service was great! Servers were warm hearted and wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place.
