I have been coming to Chopsticks for about eight years, and they always give you a TON of food for your money! The food tastes pretty good also! But, last night I ordered some food to go, and it look much longer than 15 minutes. And then when I got home, two of the dinners had hairs in them! GROSS!!! There is no reason for hair being in the food, the chefs should know better! That's the only reason why I gave them three stars. But finding a hair really worries me about how clean the kitchen is and how strict they are with their health code policies!

My husband and I had dinner/take out from Chopsticks. It was delicious and give it 4 stars. good prices and loads of food. We are about 15 minutes away and the food was hot, the egg rolls were almost too hot. I am sure eating in their very nice dining area would even improve the taste because all the sauces are on the food and presented in a delicious way. We do enjoy diving into the takeout boxes occasionally.

Have eaten in main restaurant before and received kind, prompt service. Decided to eat in lounge area this time and couldn't believe the not only poor service, but rude service from the bartender/waitress. I can honestly say that I have never been treated so poorly... I am still seething from this experience! Out of respect for my dinner mate I didn't say anything to her or the manager BUT I WANTED TO!. Need-less to say, we will never return to this place and most certainly will not recommend it.

We just moved to the area and have been in search of our new go to Chinese restaurant. Upon doing a search on yelp I found this place had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. I am a big fan of Chinese-American food and have tried many different places but this place by far takes the cake for the worst one. From the soggy potstickers, pancakes which were actually just flour tortillas at a Mexican restaurant, strange tasting fried rice, sweet and sour chicken masquerading as honey sesame chicken, to the burnt stale fortune cookies it was all bad. There were limited dinner combo options so in order to order an actual dinner for two people we had to order two entrees at around $10/person 4 extra "pancakes" at $.25 a piece, a potsticker app, and special fried rice at $7.50. We spent almost $40 on a meal that we ended up throwing out. We both now feel sick and have to find something else to eat. It is also important to point out that neither of us have very high standards and aren't particularly picky. If it's hot we will usually eat it but we couldn't even make it more than a few bites. I feel they are over priced and would be even if it were free....I feel ill.

They have been in Edmonds for as long as I remember, and they are the nicest people, always eager to help and make sure our meals are great. I love their specials, and my wife and I grab lunch here all the time. We work in the Westgate area, and this the best place to grab lunch.

Very disappointed. I walked in and ordered takeout two nights ago. The food was ready quickly but that is the only positive :-( I got home and opened the box and was immediately bummed out. The fried rice was dark brown and didn't taste fresh. The almond chicken was so greasy. The egg roll was burned. I personally didn't care for their chow mein either. I ate about five bites of the dinner then tossed it in the trash. I do not throw away Chinese food so you know it was bad if I did that.

To any of the owners of this restaurant who may read this, I'm sorry for what I'm about to say but it's the truth. Okay, the good: excellent service! It's why what I'm going to say later makes me feel so bad. I also enjoyed the vegetable egg roll even though it was a bit greasy. Now for the bad part: The rest of it pretty much sucked. My now fiance (as of two hours ago) and I had the family meal for two and it came with almond chicken, orange beef, pork fried rice, and chicken chow mein. The almond chicken was crispy fried chicken in a gravy-like sauce with almonds on top. The orange beef was battered and fried beef with a cornstarchy sauce that didn't taste like orange. The pork fried rice was salty but I don't like fried rice so my thoughts don't count on this one. And I didn't eat the chicken chow mein because it was loaded with mushrooms and it was greasy. Mostly though, I hate mushrooms which was why it wasn't going on my plate. You're better off going elsewhere unless you're looking for fried Chinese-ish food. I'm serious when I say, I would have rather had McDonald's.

While the prices are cheap, the food is not great at all. Even then fried rice was not great (too much soy sauce and the rice was dry). I didn't like my Almond Fried Chicken and the person I was with have Mu Shu. I tasted it and it wasn't good. It didn't even look like what traditional Mu Shu is served like. I didn't like anything I ate. The service was goo but that was about it.

We have had several decent experiences here but unfortunately the last time we ate here the food tasted odd and both my wife and i were sick for almost an entire evening. Not throwing up sick but very sour and upset stomachs. Too bad because the people are nice but we wont be back. Clearly something bad was in the food.

I Love Chopsticks, the food is amazing. I especially love just going into the bar area and ordering food. The atmosphere is perfect!! I'm not a huge fan of Chinese Food, but I truly enjoy this place. Worth Checking Out If you've never been there!!

After waiting 45 minutes for our food I almost walked out as I was convinced they lost my order, which I am still pretty sure they did. The only good thing was the walnut prawns and that is what they get the 1 star for. Worst watery mu shu pork I have ever had and who waters down the plum sauce?? The curry chicken was terrible too. Next time we will drive the extra distance to T n T on Hwyy 99 or wait for Flying Dragon in Richmond Beach to reopen! Both are wonderful!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
