Hi. My wife and I had breakfast at Big Wallys yesterday. Nothing fancy. Just a good solid breakfast that was cooled the way we ordered it and it was served hot. We we invited to sit down and share a table with a couple of local farmers, regulars, who had hit the fields for the day. It was just a very special time to visit with real people who just were experiencing life.
I stop here often on my way to Grand Coulee Dam. They have a full convenience store, bait and tackle shop and a gift shop. They make food here which is pretty tasty. I stopped the other day and had the turkey Melt. It was so good I couldn't stop eating even though I was very full. Pretty much made myself sick but it was worth it. There is seating to eat there or just get a meal to go. There's also great parking for cars, RV's and big rigs.
I always stop at Big Wally's on my way to and from my cabin NE Washington, the staff is always friendly, there's burritos and such in the hot case, but if you don't mind waiting a few minutes, they have a pretty extensive menu. Truly an Oasis in the middle of nowhere. Big gravel lot out back to let your dogs get out for a stretch if you know what I mean. Heck, they even have a liquor store!
