If you are looking for a bargain then this is not the place. If you are looking for gourmet and don't mind how much you are charged then by all means, this is your place. I go there to purchase UK's MARMITE which is the only place in Chehalis area that sells it, but I was very disappointed that I couldn't make this my regular grocery store. Why? Well let's see, firstly, I'm paying the same prices as SAFEWAY, but I have to bag my own groceries like GROCERY OUTLET. It's a no brainer for me! If you're going to make me pay "high" prices then I want the convenience of having my groceries bagged. In conclusion, SHOP N KART is the place to go for hard to find items, but nothing else, period!

We live in the land of plenty and you can find good food in a great many places, but Support your local independent business, especially when it is owned and operated by a genuinely kind, customer advocate who has been in the grocery business for many decades.

Nice discount grocery. Great selection of both conventionally grown and organic produce (by Lewis county standards) and fabulous selection of Bob's Red Mill products. They also have a good bulk section and several aisles of liquor to choose from.

Terrible experience here; rented me a car online and had none when I showed up. No attempt at customer service recovery. I can't imagine ever walking in that place again.

Moving into a tiny town in Lewis County, I miss Pike Market and the great Portland Farmers' Market. Local groceries tend to have pretty funky produce and limited variety. We then found Ship'n Kart and were just blown away by the variety of just about everything. The produce manager, Darin, has added locally grown organic stupidly fresh veggies. Every squash, tomato and pepper looks lovely. There's a good range of fresh peppers, cases of things to can for the winter and all manner of interesting varieties to try. If something isn't there, he'll order it for you. Hooray for great produce guys! The Mexican and Asian sections are the most extensive in one place I've seen. The specialty oils area beats Whole Foods and Trader Joes easily. And there is more Bob's Red Mill than anywhere. Ever. Want to mill your own grains? There's whole bags available. Experiment with some new bread recipe? It seems lime every grain ever used for any sort of bread is there. The bulk section has an excellent range of herbs and spices, very reasonably priced. There are at least a dozen types of specialty rice for everything from sushi to risotto. Yes, I'm in Foodie heaven here. Overall prices are pretty good. Much less costly that Whole Foods, and the selection is just epic.
