Burgerville Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

I really WANT to like you, Burgerville. I love that you use fresh, sustainable ingredients. I love it that in addition to trash and recycling, you have compost option (complete with instructions). I love it that you care about your employees. What I don't love? Cold food. I gave you the benefit of the doubt the first time. Sure, my fries were soggy and old, and my burger had seen better days. But you cheerfully replaced my sad meal with a fresh new one, and all was a-okay. I forgave you. The next time this happened, I realized it wasn't me, it was you. Which makes me so sad, because I love having a fast-food option that doesn't feel like fast-food. Sorry Burgerville, we're broken up for good this time.

The Burger was tasty but small, I think for the price they want for it... it should be bigger... Theres nothing special about the fries its the same as what Mc Donalds is serving. The staff were friendly and the place is clean. The place is busy for lunch even they are a little pricey than most fast food place. I would probably come back but maybe once a month.

I really wanted to like this place. We stopped by here on our way back from Portland craving a milkshake. Crazy, I know since it was freezing ass cold and foggy, but hey, whatever! We roll in through the drive thru, which was awkward since the only entrance coming from the freeway is right where the drive-thru menu is (AKA you have to do a 3 point turn to get to the damn window!) After wasting more time than necessary trying to get to the drive-thru, I asked them if their shakes were made with real strawberries. After a long winded answer (No) I was sad and ordered 2 medium vanilla (boring I know) shakes....for $7.50! Whaaaa? At this point I regretted going to Wendy's across the street. Oh well. The shake tasted like it was pure fat (very rich) and was actually pretty good. I really don't know where the vanilla was, but oh well. I regretted getting a milk shake and currently I feel like a giant marshmallow after drinking it. Sigh.

  • Ben D.

Extremely helpful staff capable of (a) responding to questions with intolerant shouting and (b) differentiating milkshake flavors merely by removing the lid and shoving their nose into the cup. Tasty milkshakes, which can be made with frozen yogurt instead of ice cream. Some environmentally responsible sourcing choices. Too bad the staff ruin it.

Normally I love Burgerville... They are everywhere in Oregon and I grew up going there when I wanted a burger. Centralia is the closest Burgerville to me and whenever I take the drive to Oregon I stop and enjoy. The Centralia location is okay... They aren't as clean as the others and the service is just ... Alright.. The burgers are delicious and normally put together very neat. The last time I ordered two cheese burgers and they were everywhere, as if they had just been thrown together super fast. The fries were hot and not in a little bag, instead they were all at the bottom of the bag... Me wearing shorts, the grease soaked through the bag burning my leg. Not a good experience. The only reason they get 3 stars is because they normally have good food and they are Burgerville. The lady at the drive thru was also very helpful... Ended up pulling into a spot and getting some water and some towels to put on my leg.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I did NOT like this place at all. I think this is the first time Yelp has failed me. First of all, the burgers are freaking tiny... I should have gone to Wendy's across the street for meat. I got the Walla Walla onion burger and they piled the onions up on the miniscule patty. The burger had a TON of black pepper on it, overwhelming and annoying. Then the prices? $5-6 for a burger ala carte and over a buck a piece for onion rings? The onion rings were decent, but the whole meal cost me $11 and didn't live up to the hype. Save your money and go to Vans, Frugals, or Big Tom for a nice meaty burger.

My wife and I love Burgerville, and this is the nearest stop to Olympia so we come here when driving through on I-5. We are big supporters of their practices (ethical/sustainable/seasonal foods) and are all around impressed by the flavor of their food. We'll definitely be back, and can only hope that they continue opening more franchises in new locations.

Went here today with a friend to get something quick for the game. The service was fast. The burger was slightly over seasoned. But the waffle fries were great. Be sure to pair them with the spicy mayo sauce. Love it.

Something must be wrong with my car. It seems like everytime I am on highway 5 in Centralia that my car pulls to the Right at the exit for Burgerville so I have to pull over to investigate but it just so happens that I always end up in their parking lot. I have deviated only once from the Bacon Cheesburger and that was to try the veggie burger. While the veggie burger was quite good, I am afraid it does not compare with a good old Bacon Cheesburger. The Bacon has pepper on it which adds to the yumminess! There is usually some type of seasonal berry shake or smoothie and you just cannot go wrong with a shake. I am glad I listen carefully to my car. Next time I will have to try out the free wifi - will make my stay a bit longer.

I really, really, REALLY, really wish someone would open up a franchise in Tacoma. The burgers are sooooo good. All the ingredients are locally sourced and it looks like a fast food joint but the clientelle were more attractive and quiet. I also like that there are items seasonally available. Today there were rosemary shoestring fries reminiscent of the fries at the old Beach House in Purdy (which turned into a crappy Mexican place then closed which it totally deserved as the owner should NEVER have changed it...) and assuaged some of the potato-based grieving I'd been feeling about those. We drive about an hour to go there and will continue to do so. **Found out that it's not franchise-able (Is that a word?). Hope they expand to Tacoma then.

Best fast food I've had, including in 'n' out. Visited for the first time about a week ago on my way to California for a visit with the fam. Ordered the free range turkey burger and oregon raspberry lemonade. Service was fast, and price was comparable to other fast food spots ($3-5 for burgers, etc. and $2-3 for drinks). Highly recommend both!

Good Burgers & Fries - also had some really tasty dipping sauces!

A must-stop on the drive from Seattle to Portland as it's about halfway in between. Quick and consistent food, and I love the seasonal items. Usually a cheeseburger basket with and extra cheeseburger makes for an excellent second half of the drive. A part of this location that I don't like is the accessibility to the drive-thru coming from I-5. For those that have been here, you have to circle the restaurant (if there is a line), or make an awkward U-Turn within the parking lot to place your order.

  • James M.

Over all good. The staff was very friendly, And holy pink poodles the food was at our table before we even finished paying. I thought the food was okay, but my son thought it was awesome. The shake was very good. The restaurant was clean.

Good burger, but nothing to write home about....same could be said about the fries. For fast food (and it was fast, despite the fact that it was lunch time and they were incredibly busy), it's better than most-it also costs quite a bit more. I like the fact that they buy local as much as possible, and use fresh ingredients, but it it didn't seem to affect the taste of the burger much. Burgerville gets an extra star from me for having separate bins for garbage, recyclables, and compost. I'm no eco-freak, but we're pretty conscientious at home, and I like businesses that take that extra effort. And for customers who aren't savvy to the G/R/C difference, they have signs posted above each bin instructing which items go where. Cool!

  • Lesley D.

This is by far and away the best fast food on I-5 in Washington. If you are traveling from Seattle to Portland, or vice versa, this should be your lunch or dinner stop hands down! Pros: The food is fast fresh and local The spread! They care about the environment (they actually compost!) Cons: Centralia...

Let's start with the good. In a country with screwed-up health care options, Burgerville has taken the responsibility for their employees by offering full medical coverage for $15 a month, or $30 for someone with dependents. That rocks. They locally source ingredients. They print caloric information right on the receipt. It's clean. It's friendly. It's fast. Now, the bad. The food was just almost-ok. That is to say, it tasted like a fast-food burger. It wasn't the awesome wholesome burger I was expecting, but a burger that could have easily been served at any of the run-of-the-mill corporate burger chains - i.e. not-awesome. The lettuce was a bit wilted, and the whole thing could have been... better. Maybe I got them on an off-day. They'll get another shot for all the other reasons, but the food isn't it for me, yet. By itself, the meal would have been two stars. Ugh. Was it sitting under a heat lamp for a while? I don't know. It wasn't ok. Maybe if I had extra sauce or something, they would have made it special. I really, really, really wanted to like it more. I wanted it to be awesome. Make no mistake - this is the first, last, and only fast-food option in Centralia as far as I'm concerned. They have two - TWO! vegetarian burger options, care about their employees, and it's time for everyone to step up and demand all of the things that Burgerville does for their employees and community. But if they figure out how to serve an In-And-Out quality meal - hot, fresh, tasty - boy howdy, it's lights out and Burgerville dominates this and every other market it chooses to enter. My plan is to special order the next burger, so it's presented hot, fresh, etc. and see if there is a difference.

No reviews? There have to be some reviews somewhere for a Burgerville. I guess I got dibs on the Centralia one. You'd think someone else out there would already have it seeing as this place is usually jam packed every time I drive by (and sometimes thru) it. How can one resist? The glowing neon signs, the proximity to the freeway (for you travelers needing a real ice cream shake and not wanting to venture too far from the Interstate) The food is great. Fresh cooked burgers, some with real Tillamook cheddar cheese and hot fries are staples of this Northwest chain. For those craving something a little healthier or out of the ordinary, you can get a turkey burger or even some deep fried halibut and chips. Good stuff. Did I mention the real ice cream shakes? Oh. You can even get a salad served with smoked salmon and hazelnuts. What other "fast food" place offers that? Once a year, we are treated to the bliss that is the Walla Walla Sweet Onion Ring. These things are MASSIVE as documented in the pictures I've provided. They are offered in 2 sizes: Semi-Huge and Huge. I got Semi-Huge (3 rings). I think Huge was 4. These are best shared with friends or you can make a meal of them alone... the onion rings, not your friends. They also taste quite well paired with a milkshake. Dammit, now I need to go get a milkshake.

Clean Great Customer Service Quick Service Convenient Location Great Food This is my go-to spot when going south or across the state for travel. In fact I usually stop on the way and on my way home. I have visited Burgerville's all over the NW and I believe this is one of the better locations where customer service is concerned. The employees seem happy to be at work, the food is always top notch. My favorite food items are the halibut fish & chips, sweet potato fries, yukon gold waffle fries, walla walla sweet onion rings, tillamook cheese burger, all the seasonal milkshakes and their salads.

I discovered Burgerville many years ago when I lived in Portland, and for close to a decade now it has pained me that there are no BV's in the Seattle area. I make a pilgrimage to Burgerville (either in Centralia or Woodland) every time I head south to Oregon, and I am never disappointed. Honestly, it puzzles me that Burgerville has expanded into the Greater Seattle area as its green business practices and use of seasonal ingredients seem like they'd make BV a hit up here. But alas...I emailed Burgerville Corporate just the other day to see if they're planning to grow into the Seattle market and there are no immediate plans. I favor the excellent Burgerville Classic Hamburger, but I can also give a thumbs-up to the Pepper Bacon Cheeseburger (with thick pieces of bacon!) as well. I prefer regular fries over the seasonal sweet potato version, but I love that BV offers various fry varieties (and Walla Walla onion rings when onions are in season). The pinnacle of goodness for me at Burgerville, though, has to be the Blackberry Shake, available in late summer. It's like blackberry pie a la mode in a cup. The Centralia Burgerville is always pretty clean and the staff is courteous. This is fast food at its best, and BV Centralia will continue to be my favorite I-5 pitstop!

Another reccomendation from my Portland friend. He didn't disappoint on this one either. One of the best "fast food" burgers I've ever had. I had the cheddar bacon burger and it was excellent. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that the onion rings are seasonal. But I get that -- trying to keep the integrity of their product, so it's appreciated.

Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try on our way home from Great Wolf (I know it's going the wrong way to home). We were excited to try it. I loved my bacon cheese burger and the shake was pretty good. My burger lover - HATED her burger and declared this place the worst place she had ever eaten (therefore everything else was also awful in her opinion). Hubby got some big expensive burger that he said was just medioce and it was really expensive for a quick burger lunch. Probably won't jump off the freeway to go here again.

This place is awesome! The milkshakes are so good! I tend to make a trip at least once every two months to Portland to visit the in-laws. So on the way home, I sometimes make a stop here for a milkshake since it's about half way home from Portland to Lynnwood. Oh yeah, order the Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings when they have them. You won't regret them at all. They put the BK onion rings to SHAME!!!

  • Amanda Y.

I love Burgerville USA! Actually I think it's just straight "Burgerville" now, but it used to be Burgerville USA. This place is a heavy part of my childhood. You see, my family lives in Northwest Washington, and my grandmother, bless her ornery, Irish soul, lives just outside of Portland, so trips were made back and forth several times a year growing up, and on the way down to Portland was always a stop at this Burgerville. Growing up all I knew was that I liked Burgerville, I couldn't tell you why, I just knew I liked it. Now I can tell you that it's the "spread" that they use on their burgers, it's so deliciously yummy, and you can buy a jar of it for only $3.99 to take home! Heaven. So when Miss Lina D and I decided to make the 80+ mile trek south to Centralia for the soul purpose of going to the glorious Helly Hansen Outlet to load up on great new snowboarding and sledding gear, I announced to her that we MUST stop at Burgerville (it is just across the street, afterall) So after stocking up on cheap, cheap, cheap new snow gear we headed across the street to Burgerville, and like I thought she would be, she was impressed. Although this particular location tends to be a bit on the... well, it's sort of ghetto. Last time I went in it looked like a hurricane had hit: the floors were filthy and I refused to eat my food in the lobby (the food prep areas looked clean, it's just the seating area that looked scary) This time the place was still a bit dirty, in need of a sweeping and a mopping, but not bad. A woman was wiping the tables down in the lobby and cleaning up as we ate, so I guess they are making some effort to keep up on the cleaning. Our fries were awesome. Always are. Perfectly salted, freshly out of the fryer and just delicious. My burger (Colassal Cheese) was delicious, meat was cooked perfectly, not too dry or too moist. It's more than I can eat, but I used a little mind over matter and stuffed it down because it was so delicious. The jar of Spread I bought is in my fridge and waiting to be consumed. The bestfriend and I did a test a few years ago, plain Burger King cheese with Burgerville Spread tastes almost like a real Burgerville burger. Ah I'm ready to get me some!

there are only 3 reasons why i stop during a road trip to portland: -coffee -highway patrol (don't worry... didn't happen this time!) -burgerville there is nothing better than biting into a yummy burger with tillamook cheese and some fries to help make the 2nd half of probably the worst-weather-i've-ever-driven-in road trip as good as it can possibly be. sad that there isn't one closer to seattle, but certainly worth the wait : ) ps- LOVE the calorie counter thingy on the receipts!

Great food, love that they focus on sustainability....! The onion rings are to die for, the lemonade & iced tea are excellent and the fish sandwich was perfectly crisp. I can't wait to go back.

Burgerville! Burgerville!! You know when you get invited to a friends of a friends house for a party, and you don't really know what to expect. When you get there you find out the person is SUPER cool and you want to hang out ALL the time! You want to know more about the person, and when you leave...you end up wanting to go back again and again. Sure the person might not have been the cleanest person you ever met...but their coolness made them good enough to eat!! This is similar in many ways to my experience at Burgerville. I have never been, but now I look forward to any Centralia/PDX trip in the future that allows me to stop here. Amanda Y had suggested...wait nevermind...more like demanded we eat here after our Helly Hansen adventure. I was cool with it, trusting her judgement...and I really wanted to see what all the fuss was about. OH MY GOODNESS! These burgers are GOOD! The sauce is to be envied by all other burger type establishments. The fries were perfect...salted but not too salty, not too hard and not to soft...just perfect. I might note that my son never eats all his fries, and he ate ALL his fries while we were at Burgerville. The only reason I removed one star was the floor looked pretty nasty... luckily for us, a nice lady came over and wiped our table clean. Hopefully I will see you soon Burgerville!

Thanks for the free Wi-Fi, Burgerville! Using my laptop while eating gigantic Walla Walla sweet onion rings, trying to cram a huge Tillamook cheeseburger in my mouth and sucking down a triple berry shake was the highlight of the road trip.

Burgerville should take over the world in fast food. They use local products and you can compost most of the paper, straws and utensils. The menu changes a little with the seasons. We love summer time for the Walla Walla onions and raspberry smoothies. It isn't the best burger I have ever had but is better than most fast food I have had. I would give it 5 stars if they had a location in Seattle.

I am a Dicks drive in guy born and raised on it! But I love burgerville they have really good cheeseburgers and the seasonal specials never disappoint. They also just started a special on Sundays only 5 cheeseburgers for 5 bucks!!!

First time at a Burgerville last weekend! I had the Tillamook Cheeseburger and fries. The burger was pretty darn good. It all seemed very fresh. It was juicy. I liked it! A bit pricy for a burger and fries but the freshness makes it worth it. I like all the recycling they got going on too! When are they coming to Tacoma??

Your standard Burgerville fair. Great burgers for a little bit more. Things always seem to taste better on the road. So I give this place more stars as this is a typical stop coming and going from the multiple trips I take to Seattle to race.

Although I didn't eat the food here, the blackberry shake was ABSOLUTELY the best shake I have ever had! If you are ever within a 2 hour drive of this place, go and get a blackberry shake. (I think the berry flavor changes with whatever berry is in season) It was creamy and delicious!

A solid experience. We ordered 2 , 1/2 pound tilamook burgers, large basket of fries and 1 coke. Cost was just under $20 Burgers were pretty good quality and quickly prepared. Great quality of produce. I'm not a mayo fan so it was good that my husband reminded me to ask because they didn't mention this, though most places don't, I find it a personal pet peeve when extra surprises are on my burger. The rosemary fries were definitely the dissapoibtment of the meal, clocking in a $3.50 there wasn't that many, nor a special deal with the burger and oversalted. If you're keen on fries I recommend getting without salt and adding to personal taste Overall a good meal but a little on the pricey side, recommend leaving off the extras and sticking with their quality burgers to keep it budget friendly

For a road trip stop off of the freeway, this place is a gem!! Clean bathrooms, friendly and efficient employees. I ordered the turkey club sandwich, which came on a really nice bun with delicious bacon!!! Everything tastes super fresh! We also ordered rosemary shoe string potatoes, which had rosemary, garlic (but not too much) and sea salt. So simple and delicious!

I've always loved Burgerville ever since it first opened in Centralia like 40 years ago. Sometimes I'll drive 40 miles from home just to fill my Burgerville cravings.

Great burgers and Gluten Free Buns. Quick friendly service. Local grass fed beef. Not fancy but solid good burgers and shakes. They also have salads but haven't tried one yet.

We decided to choose this burger place while driving up I5. It was close to the exit so we did not have to drive around very much. We ordered the Tillamook Cheeseburger with fries and a drink and the Pepper Bacon burger as well. The burgers well seasoned and we definitely like fresh local ingredients such lettuce and tomato used. The service was fast and friendly. We asked for fry sauce and it was pretty good it was a honey mustard dipping sauce.

Quite possibly the best small chain burger place. My pepper bacon cheeseburger and apple, cranberry, and blue cheese salad was delicious. The topper was the fresh raspberry sundae. Soft serve vanilla ice cream with a super fresh raspberry puree (seeds and all). So wonderful.

  • Kathy D.

They have always had high end delicious fast food. Local meats and cheeses, real milkshakes but now, best of all they have GLUTEN FREE BREAD!!! Thank you burgerville!! The blue cheese burger is my favorite , and the ham bacon egg and cheese sandwich is yummy!! It's a little more expensive than the other chains, but it's a much higher caliper of food, real food with real cheddar cheese, not "cheese food" worth the extra for the quality.

Pretty boring food. Fairly comparable to Burger King, and not as good as 5 Guys We probably won't eat there again unless there are not other options available.

So, it's Sunday, we were hungry, and we came across Burgerville. We went through the drive thru and we were disappointed, 3 of our orders were wrong. Not coming back...

I made a special point to hit up this Burgerville for dinner on a trip to Seattle. Upon arriving for dinner, I was informed that they were out of all salads. Ok, that sucks but ok, whatever. Then, after ordering onion rings, I was informed that they were out of them too! Wtf, is this a restaurant or not. I didn't stick around to find out if they were out of burgers, I just assumed they were and left. Pathetic.

I stopped by Burgerville after checking out YELP! Quite honestly, I don't know what the hype is all about. I was deliberating between a one and a two star rating of this place and decided to round DOWN my experience instead of rounding up and I will tell you why: I base my decision of giving a place one star based on whether or not I will be back. In this instance, unless someone else LITERALLY twisted my arm, I don't think I will be back, let alone be back on my own. Since I am not from around here, as always, I go to YELP! for recommendations. Since this place has a glowing review, I decided to try it. First impression, BUSY place. The jukebox in the dining area, as one YELPER mentioned, is a unique touch. I didn't know whether or not it worked though. I rarely eat burgers so I ordered their grilled chicken. For $5.39, I figured it is comparable in price to say a McD or a Burger King. I thought I'd order the combo and while I'm it, I tried their Rosemary Fries and their Garlic Aioli -- first time I've EVER had an Aioli of ANY kind, so sue me! :) I literally had a heart attack when the cashier told me that my order came to $10.47 -- Wait, WHAT? I beg your pardon? Ten effing dollars and forty seven effing cents????? Really??? THIRTY ONE CENTS more and my original grilled chicken sandwich's price would've been doubled. And for what? A drink and some specialized fries? When I looked at my receipt, my $5.39 sandwich was actually billed at $9.69 as a combo including $.30 extra for the rosemary fries and $.40 extra for the garlic aioli. WOW! I didn't want to make a scene and paid my bill albeit begrudgingly. About 10 minutes later -- and I thought this was FAST FOOD!! -- my order came. My grilled chicken was drier than the Mojave Desert. And yes, I miss my tomato on my chicken sandwich. I tried dipping it in the garlic aioli but the "garlic" overpowered the chicken's flavor -- better than dry grilled chicken though. When I tasted the Rosemary Fries -- WOW! the rosemary flavor was IIIIIIINTENSE!!! When I got up to get my drink, I keep looking at my drink and trying not to remember that if I would've just gone across the street, I would've gotten this drink for ONLY a buck! Overall, I think Burgeville is trying to be a Red Robin or some "upper scale" burger joint but, aside from the EXPENSIVE sandwiches (nay, sandwiches COMBO!), they ridiculously fall short. I believe that when you leave a restaurant, you should be one step closer to nirvana (ok maybe I'm exaggerating here) because you are FULL and, MORE IMPORTANTLY because you have eaten GREAT food. Instead, I was full of regret why I've eaten here in the first place and VOWED not to return again.

Meh. I stopped by on my way to Seattle and ordered the triple berry smoothie (or something like that). I heard that Burgerville had amazing smoothies. When I first got it I noticed that the smoothie was too thick to get through the straw, even after mixing. On the upside, I was glad to know it was made of real fruit. I could taste the seeds and skin of some of the berries (and even got a stem of a blueberry). Not sure if all Burgerville smoothies taste this way, or whether it was just this location, but a larger straw may have been useful. I like my smoothies cold, but had to wait for it to melt in order to drink it.

Organic, local...legit shakes...money sauce... This is the real "fast food" deal. When in season, get the Walla Walla onion rings and marionberry shake. Either will make your toes curl in all the right ways.

I'm very disappointed. I haven't been here in years. My mother had the burger and it came with nothing on it. I had the halibut sandwich which showed it came with lettuce and tater. I asked for extra tarter and if that was extra then they must not give you any. There was no lettuce and the fish was small and very dry. There was definitely more bun than fish as I had a few bites of nothing. Tho the pickles were good as was my milkshake

If you are heading down to Portland and/or the Centralia Outlets you should definitely get some food at Burgerville! This place is not like In-N-Out or Dick's, BUT they're food is BOMB! The burgers are definitely not as greasy and their menu offers way more. Chicken and fish options, more milkshake flavors, different sizes of meals and seasonal specials like fried asparagus which actually tastes really good for it being from a fast food spot. The pricing here is somewhere between a Mcdonald's and a Red Robin...you ain't gonna find no dollar menu here, but it won't hurt your pockets much! I don't really have any complaints about this place! I've been here 3 times and always recieved good service and good food.

    (4)
  • Rob H.

This place has great seasonal food. I love their fried asparagus and berry shakes. It has a very unique menu which I said does change seasonally. Their burgers are good. I esp like their salads and milk shakes. My only negative is that the service is a bit slow for being a fast food place.

Friendly service tasty burgers good milkshakes, what else can you ask for! Got the cheeseburger, milkshake, and rosemary fries and for a fastfood place it tasted great. Price was good, around 10 bucks.

I love you Burgerville, for your delicious grub AND for supporting over 900 local farms. Who does that?? You do. And you make my tummy blissed out in the process. I will admit to stopping at our closest Burgerville location - Centralia- EVERY chance I get. Which often means on the way to Portland on a weekend eating trip, and shamefully (proudly?) on the way back as well, elastic waist pants firmly in place to accommodate all the good eats of the weekend. Cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, fries, fried green beans (ahhhhh damn you short green bean season!), even the freaking bean burger is amazing. Keep on keepin on Burgerville.

I've been a fan of Burgerville since I lived in Portland, Oregon. I used to live within walking distance of one in the Hawthorne district. Even though I moved away a long time ago, I still go to this location a few times a year. On my most recent visit, something changed a bit. It wasn't the customer service because that was fantastic! Everyone at the counter was helpful and the people bringing us our food were super nice. The space was clean, as usual and made for a great rest stop on our trip. The shakes didn't change because those were awesome, as usual! The chocolate cherry was crazy good - the cherry offered a nice contrast to the creamy chocolate flavor. I love their shakes! The walla walla onion rings were huge, crispy rings, of fried goodness that I chose to dip in ketchup and tartar sauce. I'll be paying for that day for awhile. Ah, yes, the burgers. Something has changed with the burgers. The patties seemed smaller, have less flavor, and the texture was not appealing. Don't get me wrong, it's still okay, just not what I've had in the past. For me, Burgerville holds a special place in my heart and I'll continue to go there and hope the burgers will taste better to me the next time around.

Ehh the burgers are ok but definitely not worthy of the price. My burger was dry and didnt taste fresh. First time at burgerville, and will be my last. I miss In and Out burger in CA. I also miss Culvers in the midwest. Cant find a good burger in this area unless I want a sit down- Five Guys in Longview or Olympia.

Serviceable burger joint, but honestly, with a name like "Burgerville". I thought there would be more than a dozen menu items and at least 10 of those being Burgers. Patties were of the pre frozen variety, or at least that is what it tastes like. Fries are pretty good.

    (3)
  • Anne + Steve L.

Fast Food. The anazi black bean burger was better than expected. The fries were soggy, they needed be crisped up. Asked for a uber chocolate shake and they made it for me. It was runny, but very chocolatey.

The is a nice change from the usual burger fare in the fast food world. Their signature special sauce (a take on fry sauce) is worth the extra $ you have to pay to get it. Enjoy!

One star for friendly staff, one star for being edible. I will not be back. Burgerville was recommended as a substitute for In-N-Out when visiting WA and OR. They are NOTHING like one another! After trying it for the first time, I would rather have stopped at any other burger place than here. The chocolate shake tastes like every other average fast food shake. The cheeseburger was SO not worth it. $1.69 for a patty, a slice of cheese, ketchup, and honey mustard on a bun? You get more for less at McDonald's and it tastes way better. So disappointing. I know the Pacific Northwest has MUCH better to offer than what Burgerville offers!!

Took a trip down my partner's memory lane. She stopped her as a kid as the mid point to visit grandparents. I did have a little sticker shock... For three combos, it was just over $30. I did choke a bit as I handed over my credit card to Brittani (true spelling) at the counter. She immediately picked up on my lack of oxygen and mention that all ingredients are fresh, the strawberries were brought in that morning, etc. It was an average burger... Above the heart attack chains but not approaching the gourmet places that keep springing up. It was a clean, inviting facility but the food can be passed on... I did find the bathrooms amusing- there was one stall in the men's room and the door closed and said occupied while the women's room had 3 or 4 stalls oddly placed as if on a three inch wide train end over end over end. There was a line at the men's door and not the women's... Thank you!

Stopped here on the way to Portland. Have to say Yelp had me thinking this was going to be some local place with some great burgers. What I was left with was a chain type restaurant with a very low value to dollar ratio. I had a 4$ cheese burger which seemed like decent amount for a single patty in Centralia. What I got was a bun with some very nicely arranged lettuce and a puny amount of meat and cheese. The slice of cheese was so thin (it hadn't melted) that I was wondering how they could slice it so thin. Burger King or another chain is to me clearly the better way to go here... which is sad.

LOVE. If you're looking for great, local and fresh food then I recommend this lovely restaurant. Burgerville supports over 900 local farms and businesses as well, reason enough for me to keep coming back! During my recent visit (November 26, Wednesday), I ordered the pepper bacon cheeseburger basket and the Burgerville special sauce. My food was phenomenal. The manager brought my food out to me personally. I absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.

Came by burgerville for a breakfast burrito And a side of hash browns. I got 1.5 hashbrown fingers Thats right... one and a half hash brown fingers They are already a total ripoff as it is for 3 of them. You have to be a speacial kind of stupid To bag up 1.5 hash browns the size of a pinky finger.

Tillamook cheeseburger! I am from Tillamook, land of cheese, trees and ocean breeze so I am partial to any burger joint that uses Tillamook cheddar rather than processed! This just off the freeway spot was absolutely slammed to capacity with holiday travelers! The management stepped up and staffed right so everyone was served faster than I ever expected after waiting in line. With that acknowledged, they claim to use quality fresh made ingredients however, I would rather have a juicy 5 Guys rather than this overcooked hockey puck I consumed. I do question the value here. Memory serves me that 40 years ago Burgerville was once maybe not as good for me but tasted superior to today's product! Why does a Burgerville patty have to be dry and tasteless? I return to recapture what I remember rather than what is sold today.

The entire experience was a bad one! The employees act like they don't want to be here and they definitely don't want to be helping you. The girl at the counter had a bad attitude and kept giving us nasty looks. Then our order came out completely wrong. We were missing an order of fries, the bacon that I asked to be added to my burger wasn't there and the cheeseburger kid's meal came out as chicken tenders. I ordered a double burger , no cheese add bacon. What I got was the thinnest little frozen burger patties I've ever seen on a plain bun. No lettuce, pickle, onion, tomato or sauce. They did put bacon on it after we complained but nothing else. For a price tag of $32.00, I don't know how any reviewer can say this place is a good value. It's your typical food services of America fare and nothing special about any of it. The manager Jeremy was the only thing good about this place. He was professional and courteous and tended to the mistakes that were made in a friendly manner. He even made a point to double check with us about things. This place however is not worth the time and money we spent. There is a Wendy's directly across the street from Burgerville that we were going to go to and decided to give Burgerville a try. We made a bad decision.

For a fast food joint, this place delivers restaurant quality burgers - or at least the Pepper Bacon Burger. For those that are health conscious, you won't feel guilty eating the burger because the satisfaction over runs the guilt. Mmm. They do have salads there, too, but yeah... pricey. Just go for the burger. The toilet orientation was unique. Check it out to see what I mean.

Tonight I came through with my kids who were very loud and rambunctious, the employees were totally patient with my kids and very professional. Casey and her Co workers did an amazing job tonight! The food was hot, fresh, and the staff was exceptional! Thank you!

I am upping my review to 4 stars. I think I just died and went to heaven. Just tried the Wild Salmon Salad! HOLY COW, I mean HOLY Fish - that was sooooooo good! The salmon tasted so fresh, the whole thing tasted spectacular. AND it was 7.49 - not too bad for a tasty fresh salad that is good for you. I didnt think I would be giving this place much business after my last stop but I will definitely come back for this salad. My wait in the drive thru was RIDICULOUS today though. It honestly took me 17 minutes from the time I placed my order to the time I got my food. I appreciate fresh food but it is still supposed to be "fast" food right?

Excellent local burger joint for the pacific northwest...no this is not In-N-out burger, nor Burgerking (its across the street if you want to stay in the box...)...but if you want the most delicious onion rings...Awesome burgers..stop here....want a big mac....its across the freeway....

We used to eat at burgerville at least once a week. Recently they changed their menu for healthy eaters. Our meal was $20 and tasted like a burger king burger. The buns were cheap and they only offer a few options for dressing....which were disgusting. My husbands burger was basically all sauce. We didnt finish our meals...it was too grotesque. Quality of food drops...drop your prices.

One of the best hamburgers around. Try the Tillamonk cheeseburger. The only thing about this location is the men's room has only one toilet, sometimes a long wait to use it. We always stop on our trip down I5.

Burgerville. I can't eat enough Burgerville. Every time I go to Oregon and i see the Centralia Burgerville sign, I have to go. It's mandatory -- even if we are leaving Seattle at noon, I will wait until we get to Burgerville to eat. It's THAT good. Here's why: - Grassfed, hormone free burgers with their "special" sauce. Amazing! - Free range crispy chicken sandwich -- I can't stop eating this! - Sustainable fast food is definitely the way to go. Yes, it's pricier than McDonald's, but DH and I are willing to spend a little extra for better food. I love their fish burgers too! i highly recommend getting a walla walla onion cheeseburger when they are in season. OMG. i'm drooling. You can also try (I know this is weird) sticking french fries in your cheeseburger. seriously. i love it. In-and-out has nothing on Burgerville!

Given the opportunity to go here over McDonald's - please go here . Sure they're more expensive-but the food is fresh and sourced in the area. What other fast food are you going to find fried asparagus? The strawberry shortcake is really delicious. Have a Tilimoook Burger, you won't be disappointed.

This review is solely for this location, I love Burgerville, but something is REALLY wrong with this location. I grew up going to Burgerville's all the time as a kid, and I try to frequent them as much as I can when I travel towards Portland. My last visit was AWFUL though: 1.I tried to order some chicken tenders, and I was told that they could not serve chicken at all, because the cook make a mistake, and they have to get rid of ALL of their chicken, order more, and for me to come back in a month for chicken. Um, ok, sure, whatever. We ordered some cheeseburgers instead. 2. I ordered a cheeseburger, and my son ordered a kids meal. They handed me the kids meal, I handed it to my son, and was waiting for my cheeseburger, I guess they packed it in with my sons meal, so I get his kids meal back, and that's when I saw that everything was just thrown into the kids meal bag, with the fries upside down to boot, inconvenient, but not the end of the world, but it only got worse. 3. They were super busy, so how in the world did I get served lukewarm/cold cheeseburgers. I'm on the road at this point, there was no turning back. My son ate some of his fries, and said, "Mom these fries are really juicy, look"; he squeezed a fry, only to have TONS of grease squirt out of the fry. I tried one, and they were not evenly cooked, and some were filled with grease, I've worked in the food industry, and I can tell you that the oil was NOT at the right temperature. 4. My son said he didn't want to eat anymore, and so I at the cheeseburgers. I was left with a foul taste in my mouth, and shortly after I started to have nasty burps that lasted all day long. 5. I GOT SICK! I woke up in the early morning hours, and have spent a considerable amount of time in the bathroom, and my stomach just feels sour. I eat out all of the time, and I don't think that any place has ever left me feeling this crappy! Something is beyond wrong here, they can't even serve chicken, obviously because of health concerns, and I ended up getting really sick.

This place is great- local products & fresh. Very friendly, clean, kid friendly- and adult fun too. Can eat outside, or inside. A way better choice than any other fast food burger joint- and lots of healthy choices as well! The burgers are even a lot cleaner/healthier than others it seems. The whole family loved it! Yum!!!

Came here for the first time on a road trip as recommended by my friend and driver. I wasn't very hungry for a meal so I got an order of their fries and onion rings. The onion rings were HUGE and delicious. The fries were just okay. I would really like to come back and try their sweet potato fries when they are in season and maybe some of their fish and chips or burgers. I like that they offer "healthy" options as well. I got a Northwest chocolate cherry frozen yogurt smoothie to go and it was sweet, cherry, and chocolaty and totally hit the spot. YUM!!

Stopped in here because we've heard good things about the chain from friends in the Portland area. Might try one of the Oregon locations, but we won't be back in here ever again. The wait was long, partially because the staff couldn't figure out how to handle the loyalty cards (we didn't have one, but both the drive-thru and front counter staff had to ask an assistant manager for help while we waited in line). The restaurant was very dirty, the garbage, recycle, and compost cans were all overflowing, the tables looked like they might have been washed sometime this month, and we didn't dare try the bathrooms, instead choosing to get back in the car and drive to the nearest rest area. The food was cold and tasted nasty. My Pepper Bacon Cheeseburger had one slice of bacon on it, which apparently costs a dollar. My wife ordered the Tillamook Cheeseburger and the cheese was moldy. The fries were hot, but way too greasy and completely bland. Other patrons had ordered the (as advertised) Fresh Oregon Strawberry milkshake only to find out that the strawberry flavor was artificial. While we were at the restaurant one of the managers brought one of the other staff members into the dining room to discipline her, while telling her that it was OK for the manager to have a flippant attitude, but not for the staff member, because the staff member had "an attitude problem" and being flippant in front of guests made the company look bad. As a manager myself, I can definitely say that your manager was right. Disciplining an employee in the dining room during a busy dinner rush (there were 3 cars waiting in drive-thru and 6 people waiting in line at the one open cash register) and ignoring the fact that the employee was obviously humiliated does make your company look bad. To top it off, on the way home, my wife and I both developed very bad gas with horrible tasting belches and had to race each other to the pepto bismol.

I'm a total fan of Burgerville. They are locally owned. They use local ingredients. They have a creative menu, and their food is freakin' yummy for fast food. Now this location isn't has new and beautiful as the other one in Vancouver I went to ( yelp.com/biz/burgerville… ), but hey, it still has the same cool vibe. I stopped by here during road trip. If I had options like this for road trips, I'd seriously consider a career change to being a trucker!

This is perhaps my favorite Burgerville location. I am a Seattle resident, with in-laws in the Portland Metro area, so this is the northern most Burgerville location. In my family, we all know what stopping at Exit 82 means....it's Burgerville time. I have been known to plan my trips back to Seattle around when Burgerville will be open for breakfast. I have eaten here numerous times, and have NEVER been disappointed. They always welcome me in like a long-lost cousin or friend and they take great care of my hunger. Breakfast rocks, Lunch rocks, Dinner rocks. The only thing they could do to make it better is to move like 50 miles further north, I know a few friends and I who would need to work out more, because we'd constantly be there eating burgers.

Burgerville how you frustrate me! I don't live near a Burgerville, but when I'm driving to Portland I sometimes stop in to try something different. Every time I expect a great sandwich and fries. Every time I'm disappointed. Prices are high. Quantity is small. I had a chicken aioli sandwich with fries. Bland, dry sandwich made of a piece of chicken breast, white roll and lettuce. No tomato. Fries were decent but when you order a small, get ready for a small. We're talking 15-20 fries that are similar to McDonald's but not as good. Had a bit of the eggnog shake which was good and salvaged the trip.

I'd heard a lot of great things about Burgerville, so I thought I'd try them out on a drive back to Oregon from Seattle, WA. I tried their regular cheeseburger with an order of rosemary fries. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. The burger resembled something you might find at Jack-In-The Box, and there special sauce wasn't very tasty. I was hoping the fries was save the meal, but they weren't crispy and had too much oil. Althought Five Guy's Burgers is a few bucks more, I'll be stopping there instead of Burgerville when I get a craving for a tasty burger and fries.

My burgers were warm, especially the cheap double cheeseburger but the pepperbacon burger left more to be desired. Especially the french fries, which were dead and cold....mix that with the lobby being air conditioned in the middle of winter and you cannot eat your food fast enough before its ice cold. Not the Burgerville I am used to-

For those that snivel about the cheap burgers and shakes not being nirvana, try the Halibut and Chips. This has been a family staple for at least 15 years. The food award goes to Burgerville. The marketing award goes to In 'n Out.

The first Burgerville I ever went to was in Portland, when my husband and I were on a road trip and we were lost and hungry. We each got a bacon cheeseburger and a mocha milkshake. Both were amazingly good, but there was something about the milkshake that had us both absolutely hooked. Now, any time we head south on a road trip to Centralia or further south, I map out a trip to Burgerville. The shakes are worth it! Best mocha milkshake I've ever had. The other food is great, but the milkshakes are like crack for us. We are addicted! :-D

The previous reviewer asked for help from her fellow Yelpers in deciding if this is a Christian driven organization with like motives.. Her conflict comes from things like mission statements and so forth. To assist her resolution of moral quandry, I am posting Burgerville's sustainability statement from their web site. It says nothing about being Christian, wicken, LGT, political or what ever. None of the partners on their web site show any religious or poltical affiliation. Mission statements are standard quality management tools in modern business. Sounds pretty radical to the naive, perhaps. Not the least bit creepy. Burgerville just wants to provide good food (which they do), be good to their employees and neighbors (which they are) and support fellow small businesses( again; which they do). Me? I wish we had more Burgerville's everwhere including the previous reviewer's neighborhood. They are a responsible, good business. And most importantly - they make damn great fast food. From the regular burgers to the seasonal specials (like Walla Walla onion rings) - Grease Goodness. Hopefully that helps with her Incredible conflct.

I still don't know why people like this place so much. It's like a bad In and Out! My wife and I stopped here last night on our way home from Portland craving a milkshake. We ordered two; however, when we got to the window, the chick gave us one. When we asked where our other one was, she rolled her eyes and then proceeded to go make another one. As we left, I took my first sip... and almost died. The milkshake was so rich, all I tasted was butter fat. I took a few more sips and then put it down, never to pick it up again. I guess they take the term "ice cream" literally. After last night, coupled with my last experience, I truly can say I won't be coming back here again.

I'm incredibly conflicted when I come to Burgerville. I feel that they're secretly a Christian based establishment. AND if so, i want nothing to do with their delicious burgers and shakes. BUT.... they're so yummy!!! Thankfully there are no burgerville's in my area. All are atleast an hours drive. I only seem to stop here on my way out of Washington state. I've only had their chicken burgers and they're always good. Everything seems much fresher than other fastfood places. I just get this feeling that they're religiously affiliated in some fashion. On some of their posters, cups, etc. i keep seeing their "mission statements" and they seem religiously creepy.... Could someone clear this up for me?

If you're going to eat fast food, this is the way to go. Food: 2 (it's fast food, you're not here for quality fare; do you go to 7-11 looking for gourmet?) Service: 3 (ridiculously fast) Value: 3 (more expensive than most fast food: that's because employees are treated like humans, not animals) Sustainability: 4 (transparency, information, composting: win.) I had a very pleasant experience here. I rarely eat fast food, but I'm on a road trip with a diabetic. This place was impressive. We ordered in, and within 5 minutes, despite the amount of traffic at this place, or food arrived. When we paid, or receipt had our caloric intake on it; I track my calories,& my diabetic friend tracks carbs, fats, etc. it was refreshing to know what we were eating, where it came from, & that employees are treated as humanely as the animals that supply this place. They had 2 veggie burger options, local onion rings (Walla Walla sweets) and turkey, fish & chicken. The rosemary chicken sandwich was on an old, chewy hoagie roll & lacked distinctive rosemary flavour altogether. The fish sandwich was small and greasy. Give onion rings constituted enough fat for half a person's daily values. But I could tell all this info because they bothered to empower their customers with this info. If you're going to easy fast food, do it with these guys. They support local farmers and therefore local economies, they treat employees well, they compost, etc. The irony of having a drive-through is not lost on me, but our world isn't perfect. If more businesses were run like this, though, we'd be a lot closer.

Word up to being not only the northernmost Burgerville (that I know of) but to also serving up sandwiches that look exactly like they're supposed to... like a menu promo picture or something. Every time I am in this B-ville (usually when traveling from SEA to PDX or vice versa) it seems to be pretty packed... usually with people from Oregon (because we know that as far as fast food goes, B-ville is the bB's neez). For those not in the know, Burgervill serves primarily locally-sourced, seasonal food, quality Oregon Country beef (all natural), Rogue Creamery cheese, Walla Walla onions, and the like. It's fast food but a far cry from the likes of Burger King and Mc D's. You'll definitely pay extra, but it's more than worth it. Yay for good road food.

Not nearly the best Burgerville experience you can have. I have eaten at the one in or near Woodland (north of Vancouver) and that was a lot better than this one. I used to like the cheeseburgers because they'd pile on the goop. But when I went last, there was very, VERY little goop, AND, the cheeseburger was so cold, the cheese they put on hadn't melted, nor was it going to melt. Check out my photos on this: yelp.com/user_local_phot… . I used to be more impressed. This place is hitting the crapper now.

Great place to stop in Centralia on your way to or from Portland Oregon. Fast-food burger joint with many hearty burger to choose from. They also serve one of the best blueberry shakes I've tried! It's a must try if you ever stop by Centralia!

Pathetic.

YUM!!

Not as good ad the burgerville chains in Oregon but still worth coming.

Yummy!!!!! Delicious cheeseburger, amazing sweet potato fries, and the best pumpkin shake I've ever tasted. It tasted just like pumpkin pie! Can't wait to eat here again!

Can only give it 2 stars. Was disappointed in the burger. Thin performed beef patty was tough and tasteless. Fries were pretty good. Nice clean eating area and the jukebox was a nice touch.

  • Don B.

    (2)
  • Nilda C.

  • Jason C.

Cool!

This place is fantastic! I will be back for sure... Had the Yukon, white bean & basil veggies burger and the portobello wedges...incredibly delicious. The wedges are seasonal... We purchased extra to take home!

Although I didn't eat the food here, the blackberry shake was ABSOLUTELY the best shake I have ever had! If you are ever within a 2 hour drive of this place, go and get a blackberry shake. (I think the berry flavor changes with whatever berry is in season) It was creamy and delicious!
