This is pretty much my favorite place in Bellingham. It is just such a sweet and fun place to go. And the scones are to die for. Literally the best scones I've ever had - very unlike your typical coffee shop scone. It's a great place to go with girlfriends or even by yourself for a little peaceful lunch. My dad has even gone when my parents come to visit and he loves the food too. The staff is super friendly and I always have a great time there.

When I lived up in Bellingham about seven years ago, I always visited CreativiTea. Painting and wonderful tea was a creative, relaxing bliss. My husband and I were up in Bellingham for our anniversary and we decided to stop in for a literal pot of tea. I thought it was neat that you could order a pot of tea and get little tea sammiches if you felt so inclined. We had eaten at another place so we each ordered a pot of our choice teas. My husband got Chai and I got a lovely variety of Earl Grey. You get proper tea cups here, with a proper saucer and a proper vessel for milk and sugar cubes. The tea was delicious and the two of us extended our pinkies for a serious tea experience. I really love that this place exists. If I ever move up to Bellingham I would see less of the Tea Room and more of the upstairs painting area. But for visiting, Abbey Garden is perfect.
