This is the only place I can find Mussaman neum curry, which is a spicy peanut based curry with beef, onions, and potato. It's so good and the beef literally can be cut with a spoon, which is the only utensil I use with this meal because I drink the curry like its a soup. It's just the right amount of spice and has so much flavor, and the potatoes are cooked to the texture where it's soft and tender but not mushy. Other recs: chicken satay, pad see ew, beef noodle soup, calamari with broccoli Oh, and they only have mango sticky rice sometimes because they only use the sweetest mangos and those cant be found all year. The service is impeccable, the second time I came the owner came over and said that they had super sweet mangoes. When I looked confused she said she remembered that I had ordered it the time before and loved it. Which solidified my decision to come here at least once a month.

I definitely had better Thai food but it's also one of the closest Thai food places around my work area that fixes my cravings. I think they tend to overcook their meat so it becomes rather dry even though the dish is full of sauces. The place is tiny but gets way too crowded around lunch time. The great thing is that you can order ahead of time and pick your stuff to-go. The bad thing is by default they give you full portion of the order instead of the lunch portion. Until I find another Thai place, this will be my go to spot.

Stopped in for some takeout on a Thursday night- Called ahead- The place was packed but they had my order of Chicken Pad Thai and Spring Rolls ready- I always think this place is too expensive- But you get a lot of food for your buck.. The Pad Thai totally fills up the to go container for $11 and for $9 you get around 10 little spring rolls with dipping sauce. Its very tasty, I guess like the name. Perfect Pad Thai- I always get 3 stars spicy and its nicely spicy.. And it is more expensive but one takeout serving will easily last me one to three meals- Its so good also that someone at my work even stole my leftovers out of the fridge ...A lot of T-Mobilers like Tasty Thai.. Maybe they got confused and through it was their leftovers..Regardless this is good Thai food and whoever ate my leftovers probably thought the same thing! .. The place is always busy - I stop in about once a month!

I've come here a couple times before to have lunch with friends. This place is located in a strip mall in Factoria right next to the T-Mobile corporate headquarters, so it's usually packed with T-Mobile people eating lunch. The restaurant is pretty small and there's usually a wait or it's crowded with people getting take out. I ordered the chicken phad thai. For lunch, it comes with a bowl of hot & sour soup. Service was okay, the food came fast. The phad thai tastes alright, nothing special to write about-your average thai place.

This place definitely gets very, very busy during lunch time especially on weekdays because of the mass amount of people on lunch breaks from the T-mobile headquarter or other cooperate offices around Factoria. There's a lunch special price if you order your food from a certain time frame of the weekday. I prefer Thai Ginger from across the street, but it is kind of a lot of work to cross over to that side since you will face a barrier whether you are walking or driving and not to mention the parking lot there is ridiculously small so Tasty Thai will still fix my Thai food cravings. One of my personal favorites here are the curry, everything comes with a side of rice if you catch it during lunch special time and if you dine in during lunch, you get a complimentary hot & sour soup. Yum!

Phad Kee Mao is fantastic! At two stars, just the way I like it. Generous amounts of chicken and vegetables, lightly stirfried, with just enough sauce for good flavor. Great service.

Fast and friendly service My first time here, ordered a phad kee Mao w/ beef. It's big portion for me, so feel like worth $10. It taste good, but have to say it's not the Thai I want; it taste very similar to Cantonese beef fried noodles :-) Next time perhaps will try sth more "Thai" such a s phad thai or curry

FOOD: Order to go many times here before and I use to not like it. So I didn't order here from for a really long time, but since Thai restaurants are limited in this area I decided to try it again. I got phad thai, phad kee mao and panang curry. It was average, not spectacular. What I appreciated was that they were able to make my food spicier. Because 5 stars is no longer spicy at any Thai restaurants. Its quite unfournate. So I asked then to make all my food 8 stars, which they did. It wasn't extremely spicy but I tasted the spice. That is how a 5 star should taste like! I will ask for more next time! The chicken phad thai and phad kee mao were $11. Pricy but the portion was good. The panang curry was $12. The portion of the curry was a little small in my option. *Ordered from the dinner menu. SERVICE: It was over the phone but the lady who picked up was friendly and not rushed like some people are. PRESENTATION: To go orders... good portions. LOCATION: Factoria Plaza? Near Comcast. WOULD I COME BACK: To get something more than 8 star! ADVICE: If you like spicy, add a few more stars!

We love Tasty Thai for dinner take out. They are fast and the food is, well, tasty! The competitor across the street is more expensive, portions smaller and the orders take much longer to get. We really enjoy their red curry chicken, pork prik king, and phad see ew. I like the reserved parking spot, too, for easy pick-up of our food.

I would give this place 3.5 stars but since that isn't an option I am feeling generous and hence the 4 star rating. INTERIORS: It is in a strip mall on factoria and the interiors are pretty cramped up. There isn't space for more than one person to walk through the three rows of tables and chairs that have been setup. With a limited seating capacity of about 35 to 45 people, this place realltly gets crowded during lunch. You might have to wait for 5 to 10 minutes before you get a table at lunch. The tables and floor are clean though so the place is small but not shabby. SERVICE: I visited this place during lunch and hence the service might have been rushed. I don't really like a rushed service but since it was lunch time and there were people waiting I don't have a complaint. However I prefer that service is done with a smile. After all you eat here at lunch break and you want to feel like you are on a break and not like lunch is another deadline that has to be dealt with. The latter is how I felt. I had to ask for water twice. My curry was served without a plate to eat in. The bill was brought along with the food and it seemed like they just wanted people out of the tables asap. In fact I asked for an iced tea and they had to revise the bill but they brought it right back along with the iced tea. I'd like to check their service when it is not so crowded. I would award just 2.5 stars to service. But since the service was really fast it deserves about 3.5 stars. FOOD: Now this is why I still rated this place at 4 stars. The food was indeed tasty thai food. I ordered green curry that was served with complimentary hot and sour soup and white rice. I also ordered Thai iced tea which was served without boba but I liked the taste of everything. I like my food spicy and it wasn't that spicy even at 5 star but you can always add the hot sauce. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food as well. OVERALL: I would go to this place again but probably not during the peak lunch hours. The food was good and the prices were a dollar lesser on each item than Thai Ginger on the other side of the road. Don't expect a fantastic service but the food is tasty and you can go in for the taste.

I've eaten here twice. The first time, to be fair, I did request something that I didn't see on the lunch menu, which was fried tofu. I asked for an order of fried tofu. Man, I am so glad this is not a regular menu item. It's a Thai place, so I figured, some kind of tofu frying-baking-anything would be ok. I was wrong. It was absolutely flavorless and whatever they used to fry in basically was like a coating of Elmer's glue. The second time I had Pad Thai, because you know, I felt I hadn't given them much of a chance... and well, it had tofu in it. And it was the same bland, grossly fried icky blob. I don't know what they do to tofu, but it was not good. Just fried blobs that looked and tasted like bland paste. Tofu seems to be a problem in Bellevue. It's not the first place I've had problems. By all means, try something with meat and prove me wrong, but please, don't order tofu here.

Summary: While Tasty Thai is a little hit-or-miss on certain dishes, this place is a staple my wife and I go to at least once a week. On an off day the food can be bland, but when it is a good day, it is amazing and worth coming back to. Recommendations: Pad See Yew and Pad Kee Mao are a couple of our favorites. My wife also really enjoyed the Tom Kah Gai soup. Possible misses: Pad Thai is a little bland and the calamari is a little too chewy. Allergen info: They were very helpful in dealing with Soy, which is sometimes difficult to do with Thai places. Service: Very friendly. Occasionally they don't have someone at the front door so you might need to wait a minute to be served, but I've never had a long wait. Also the food comes out promptly and they do a good job for takeout orders.

This place is disgusting. I stopped by for lunch today and found a half chewed piece of gum in the complimentary hot and sour soup. It was white so I had mistaken it for the egg white and could taste the mint. When I showed the waitress she apologized, quickly took my napkin with the gum, and asked me what I would like to order for lunch... Needless to say I am not returning.

This is the office favorite for Thai food. The fried rice, mussaman neua, and phad see Iew are the best! I've literally driven out of my way to pick up food because I was craving it. Lunch menu prices are pretty cheap for a large portion. It was recently remodeled, and looks great. It's a pretty small so either get there early during lunch hours, or place an order for pickup. The parking isn't great because of how busy the shopping area is.

After reading my harsh review of this place about an experience I had nearly 6 years ago, I decided to give Tasty Thai another try. It did help that people had taken pictures of the Pad Thai here, which was enough for me to conclude that it wasn't bright red/ketchup-esque. Anyway, I went with my standard 5-Star Chicken Pad Thai, and I was happy to report that it was pretty decent! Still a touch too sweet and not as spicy as I would like, but WAY better than I remember. They do have a heavy hand when it comes to the green onions, so I'll have to ask them to hold the green onions next time. I'm sorry for not revisiting sooner, Tasty Thai!

    (3)
  • Crystal G.

It's Thai but it's not tasty. My phad see ew was plain and not tasty at all. My white rice had a black fuzzy thing in it. My stomach will not allow me to think it's anything more than fuzz. UGH

I hate to write a bad review for a small business trying to survive, but I just can't recommend this restaurant. On my first visit (take out), I got Pad Kee Mao and a curry dish (I think Panang). The former was ok, though not great. The curry dish was too spicy for me to eat, and I ended up having to throw it away. I have been ordering Thai curry dishes for years, and always order one star, and only once before have I had this issue. I stopped in one more time for takeout because the Vietnamese place I wanted to go to wasn't open. I ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Pad Thai. Tempura to me means a light batter, quickly fried, and the vegetables lightly cooked. The vegetables instead were breaded, fried for a long time and greasy, and overcooked and mushy. Think onion rings from a mediocre hamburger joint, except the same with mushy broccoli, zucchini, etc. The Pad Thai had no flavor at all, except the oil it was fried in. On the bright side, there was no ketchup in it - on the down side, there was no sauce at all. I tried to add flavor with the provided lime slice, but it produced no juice at all. There seemed to be almost no egg, and only a small-moderate amount of chicken. I ordered this food the night before I was going out of town, and I had worried that I would have too much food leftover. This wasn't an issue though, because I was happy to just throw it away. I did eat some since I had nothing else in the house, and I spent the evening with a stomach ache. I don't know for sure, but I don't believe it was food poisoning, just too much grease.

This was literally the worst Thai food I have ever had in my life. The pineapple fried rice was actually the worst fried rice of any kind that I have ever had. (Who puts yellow curry in fried rice??) it was so bad that my husband and I had to stop eating it and we are both now nauseous. I hope that a case of food poisoning is not about to unfold...

They have good service, fast and good prices. The taste is bland though. I like this restaurant and maybe it deserves a higher score, but I'm seeing some really good restaurants in the area with the same yelp rating, so 2 stars I think is a good relative rating.

Part of my BEST series... Tasty Thai has my favorite Thai Iced Tea in the area... And I love the stuff!! Not only is the flavor awesome, but it's rich and just sweet enough too. So many of these teas are just sweet and the tea has no dimension, but this one has a really nice tea flavor. And, it's not that pricey here either (lesser tea is at least $1 more in downtown Bellevue) so that's a plus too!! Recently I've gotten myself a little addicted to their Thai Iced Coffee too. Just like the tea, but coffee of course: great coffee flavor and enough sweet but not too much. Both give me a super caffeine sugar high too...but I don't usually have a bunch of either so it's probably understandable ;) Just as my previous review states, the service here is friendly and efficient too. Weekday lunch is definitely busy, but at off times it can be very calm and quiet here. Lots of dishes are great too, we especially enjoy some if the curries, pad Thai, seafood soups, and crab fried rice. Seriously, though... THAI ICED TEA!! YUM!!

It's alright, probably the best restaurant in the plaza.

Love the service. Love the food. Love the location. My hubby works in Factoria so this restaurant is close by. I was a little hesitant to try this place because it looked like a carryout joint that wouldn't have quality food. Our friends actually recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. Lo and behold, it's an actual restaurant! It's a bit small but there are tables and chairs~ I ordered my Pad See Ew (five stars, not too sweet) and they made it perfectly. Furthermore, they don't put carrots in their Pad See Ew so I didn't have to ask them to leave it out! :) They are now my favorite Thai restaurant. I asked my hubby to bring home takeout from Tasty Thai tonight. ^.^

Avoid this place if you can. Just "flatout" bad service. Wanted to add a thai ice tea to my order and this lady at the front gave me a dirty look as if I asked for a free drink. My goodness. Not only that, the food here is getting worse and worse. And they jacked up the lunch menu price as well. I think you can do a lot better at Thai Ginger or other Thai restaurants around here.

    (1)
  • Chris O.

Looks like a fast food restaurant from the outside but from the inside they have the best Thai on the east side. From extremely fast service to fresh seafood, this restaurant is far removed from what the store front or sign would lead you to believe. Also, 5 stars spicy means 5 stars here.

  • Brandon S.

By far one of the best Thai places around the factoria area. Always come here to get my servings of Phad Thai and Pa kee Mao. The servers are super awesome :). Food is amazing. Came here almost every week during high school, definitely will not be the last.

  • Laura P.

Their thai chicken curry is delicious. I come here regularly for lunch as my work is within walking distance. They fill up quickly at noon so I recommend getting here around 11:45 or one if you can. The drunken noodles, padseew, and pad thai are all winners as well.

  • Jamie V.

Ordered the red chicken curry and it was so bland. Had very little flavor. Also won't tell you but they charge extra for brown rice..... the best part of this place was the friendly employees.

    (2)
  • Deep B.

Tried the Masamman curry and Pa Kee Mao. Loved both, though Masamman was not as tasty as Thai Red Curry. Place seemed to be frequented for take outs than dining in. Overall experience was good.

I've been here a couple times for lunch. It's decent if you're looking for a quick lunch with average thai food. I've had the chicken phad thai and the curry dishes and they were both decent.

YES, the Phad Thai is GOOD here. Since 90% of you will order this... I figured I would just get that out of the way :p PROs: * I enjoy the Thai food here! It's not as good as the Thai restaurant I used to work at, but I'm happy overall with the food. * Parking is abundant since it shares a common lot with many other businesses. * I have ALWAYS had a good experience with service here. They are always kind and attentive. * Prices are basically in line with the other Thai spots in Factoria, however, TastyThai doesn't charge you extra for BEEF! (They do charge extra for prawns like every other place). CONs: * A lot of other Thai restaurants offer complimentary soup or salad w/peanut sauce. You won't get that here. * It's a little small. One of the walls is covered by a large mirror and booths. The booths realllly need some sort of divider between each booth. During my dinner I could hear nearly every word of conversation of the couple behind me without even trying. Ontop of that, if you look into the mirror, you can usually see the people in the booth in front of you.. kind of odd. See their website to see what I mean... the first picture will depict this perfectly: tastythaicuisine.com * Again.. its a little small. So a large group of 8+ may have some issues. * Being located right next to T-mobile Corporate, expect this place to be busy during lunch hours RECOMMENDATIONs: * Phad Kee Mao, Phad Thai, Phad Se Ew, Calamari, Thai iced tea. * Be adventurous! Try something OTHER than Chicken Phad Thai. Do you get just plain old vanilla at baskin robbins? :p FINAL THOUGHTS: When I'm craving Thai this place does the trick. Service is always great and food is solid. I'll be back again!

  • Yuyin V.

The food is just like any Thai food. I've only been here twice but never thought about going back. Last time I was there, I got the shrimp on a bed of broccoli worth house special sauce but there was only 6 shrimps and the rest was broccoli! I mean it was one of the most expensive dish on the menu and the shrimp weren't even that big. But anyway I always avoid Thai restaurants, though I am from Thailand, because I think they over price the food. If you really want some real Lao/Thai food, go to Vienthong in Seattle.

    (3)
  • Grace C.

The beef panang curry and the beef pad see ew! So freaking good. Can't wait to go back! Update 11/15/14: came back and ordered the same two dishes. Just as good as the first time, and the second, and third...

The Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken were good going down, but they made both my wife and me sick. With so many Thai restaurants in Bellevue - including Thai Ginger right across the street - I can't see myself ever going back to this place.

    (1)
  • Kathy M.

To start: Although they accept credit cards they strongly encourage cash only. It's small and when busy expect to be practically right up next to people at adjacent tables. As for the food: My 20 year old son ordered the Pad Thai. He said it was great and liked that it was heavy on bean sprouts and not sweet at all. I ordered the Green Curry and it was just perfect in portion and taste. We really enjoyed our lunch there. Even though it was busy and crowded servers were attentive and friendly.

    (4)
  • Peter S.

I visited Tasty Thai twice in the past two months. There is nothing wrong with the restaurant, but I just found the food to be a tad bland. The Pad Thai was garnished with extras such as green onions and peanuts. It just didn't "sing" with flavor though. I was going to give them a 2, but +1 for fast, efficient service.

  • Doug F.

I have to admit, my expectations weren't too high. We came for dinner, after taking our kids to the children's museum. I don't t expect much from strip mall restaurants but was pleasantly surprised. The masamun was flavorful. Not as spicy as I would have liked but I asked for medium hot since you never know at a new place. My wife had a calamari dish, and the squid was not overcooked. Pad see iew rounded out the evening and it was good. Not too oily, not too sweet. My kids loved it. They were a bit light with the tofu but otherwise it was good

In factoria, this is the best option for T Mobile employees who want to walk to the plaza. The food is excellent, portion is reasonable, and service is great considering how busy they are. For lunch, I would recommend this location.

    (4)
  • Oksana K.

This place is amazing. Still one of the best Thai joints on the eastside. I constantly order Phad See Ew or Phad Kee Mao with prawns or chicken. Soooooo good!

    (4)
  • James P.

I like phad thai and pah see u here. Price is reasonable. whenever i am craving for the phad thai this is the place where i order to take out. need some work on decor.

The service wasn't the best but it was understandable because it was very busy. I loved their cashew chicken and I'd love to go there again sometime when it's not as busy.

  • Lei L.

Only ever come here for lunch. Get there before noon or you will be waiting in line. There is definitely a lunch rush crowd! Parking can be problematic around lunch too. Good price for lunch but for ordering a 2-star menu item, it sure didn't even have the slightest kick to it. Also the Pad Siew I ordered was dry. I enjoyed the Pad-Siew that the person I came with ordered instead. Plus don't intend to have a nice quiet lunch here. The place is pretty small so when it's packed and everyone is talking at the same time, it's hard to hear the conversation in your own table. I'd come back again. It's just lunch so if you aren't fussy and just have a Thai craving, Tasty Thai will hit the spot and hold you over.

    (3)
  • Zoey S.

Yeah, probably deserves 3.5 stars, so decent. My family has been coming here for almost ten years. It's the best Thai option in the Somerset area... Great for takeout or a casual dinner. There's nothing special about the space itself. Never too crowded but never empty either. Very average, normal, clean atmosphere. Definitely not a happening place. The service is quick and reliable, the food, consistent in quality. Must say, these stars are definitely earned from food quality, not dining experience. It's hard to give a Thai place more than three stars; generally the quality is relatively similar across the board. So four and five-star Thai places are extremely few and far between. So this three-star rating is a compliment in my book. Some pluses: 1. Add broccoli to dishes for free (free fiber!!) 2. Brown rice option 3. Soft tofu easily substituted for fried 4. Always ask your preferred spice level (here's to not forgetting to add some flava!!) 5. Perfect time lapse between soup and main dishes :)

Since Thai Ginger is conveniently close to here, it makes a good measuring stick to compare against. For the details: - Lunch orders - Pad See Iew with Chicken (Medium Spicy) Straight up, Thai Ginger tastes better but I think the portions are smaller and $1 more expensive. Tasty Thai's sauce is a lot more bland. It's lacking in the sweet savory flavor. Also, I ordered "medium" spicy. I'm sure they were just playing it on the safe side, but any "fire" I got from the dish came from the fact that it was scary hot right out of the kitchen. The noodles were cooked ok and overall it was all "OK." But more on the blah side of OK. As others have mentioned, the space here is TINY. Lunch time is packed from the nearby offices. There aren't any tables bigger than a 4 top. So 2.5 stars. but gotta round down for "Meh. I've experienced better (across the street)." Their lack of space and overall decor made me round down. Other odds and ends: My order came with rice, which I think is odd when I getting a noodle dish.

not bad for thai food around the strip mall area here. I prefer authentic thai, unfortunately it is very hard to find it. this place will give you more to americanize taste. but its not bad. compare to other places that I have tried. their noodle is pretty good (phad thai - a bit too sweet for me, but ok, phad kee mao - not enough spices) if I have to grab a quick meal, I can still go back and have a meal here.

I've been to this place 2-3 times & have been underwhelmed each time. Most recently my fish cakes were cold & Tom Yum was bland :(

I like this place. We go to Tasty Thai a lot. It's always good and the prices are reasonable. The service is always good, and usually fast. Beware that this is a huge lunch spot right next to the T-Mobile headquarter, so it can get really packed at lunch time.

Good, simple, fairly authentic thai food. Solid.

The people who run this place are pretty nice. And the set-up is a bit less pretentious than Thai Ginger (pretentious? or classy?). I came here with a friend for lunch and they served us some kind of egg drop soup as we got seated. I'm not really sure what the soup was, as it was a little salty, sour, and spicy.. but in such strange proportions I'd rather have drowned the bowl in vinegar to give it a decisive flavor. And they definitely put some kind of thickener in the soup...it was a bit gelatinous. We got the chicken phad thai and (chicken) phad kee mao both with 3 stars. Since the phad kee mao is supposed to be made with chili paste, I hoped that it would be mildly spicy at 3 stars. It was not. It was not spicy at all. It was sweet. When I eat noodles for lunch, I crave salt. If I had ordered pancakes, I'd be happy to get something sweet. Their noodles were sweet. Pardon? Overall I really wanted to like the place because the people there were so nice and attentive (never lacking for water :) ) but their food was just so mediocre that I just can't give them another star.

    (2)
  • Isaac W.

Decent, cheap, quick. Their curry isn't going to win any prizes but it gets the job done!

    (3)
  • Jasmine M.

Went to Tasty Thai twice before and was not impressed with the food. The pad kee mao was mediocre as there was just too much sauce! This is supposed to be a dry stir-fry but it was swimming in oil making it almost soupy. I had ordered a beef dish from here before and the beef was rather hard to chew. There are many better Thai restaurants in Bellevue to make me want to return here again. Keep on eating, diners!

  • Nancy C.

Was going to go to the Thai place across the street - but found Tasty Thai here on yelp. Ordered my standby - Phad Kee Mao while still in the parking lot at the mall. Big pluses for getting all my special requests right (re: veggies and spice). Price was $9.95 with tax and they were just bringing it up the front when I walked in. Beef was good (not to chewy or fatty) the big problem with the dish - to sweet! And when I say to sweet it has to be swimmin in sugar. They say they don't use MSG and they don't (another plus). Will I be back - maybe ,to try a curry on the lunch special if I'm in the neighborhood.............

Tasty Thai in Bellevue was great! The waiter offered some great service and suggestions of hotness of the plates. I had red Curry Chicken number 8, which took me by surprise but tasty. Can't wait to go there again and step up to number 10 or possibly 12.

  • Stacy Y.

Lunch specials varies from $7.95 to $9.00, and come with a cup of hot & sour soup. Service: Fast and attentive. Red Curry!! I asked for a very spicy curry, and the waitress asked if 7 stars is enough, I said okay. When it came out, I thought I had to ask for the spicy tray because it didn't look that spicy. Thank god I didn't because they actually delivered the spicy level offered at 7 stars. The curry was tasty but was not as thick as I thought, and it came with a large bowl of rice. Yes, I will go back because I heard they go all the way to 10 stars with the owner's special hot sauce brought back from Thailand.

First of all, let me begin by stating that I'm not a Thai Ginger fan (across the street) as I find most of their food to be TOO salty (and this is coming from a girl who loves salt!) thus necessitating a side of rice with my order - added unnecessary carbs, no thanks! For me, Tasty Thai ALWAYS got it right. Whether you stick with the old classic Pad Thai noodles or venture into something new, it's been excellent in my opinion. I recommend the Rad Na noodles or Pad Kee Mao which is what I usually get. Portions are very generously sized, you will have plenty of leftovers and I'm as happy having them the very next day as if I just ordered it. Lunchtime service is quick and food arrives hot in a prompt manner. However, I would honestly wait to take my lunch hour until after 1PM to avoid the huge swarm of T-Mobile employees who tend to populate the whole shopping square around noon time. Once they come down that hill, you really have no hope. Waiting for the T-crowd to pass means an easier, quicker and quieter lunch time for you and me :) Give Tasty Thai a try soon, you'll love it!

We got Tasty Thai brought into work for a meeting. I gotta say....worst Thai food I've ever had. Everyone was just playing with their food. I'll only order from Thai VP from now on!

Going a bit after lunch hour was the way to go. I got there around 1:10, ordered Phad Kee Mao to go and it was in my hands about 7 minutes later. Much quicker this time! Their portions were generous so I was able to have a large lunch for two days on it. Not all the veggies were awesome, but it had a good ratio of noodle to veggie to meat. Wonderfully, perfectly, saucy! What a great introduction to Phad Kee Mao from my regular Phad See Iew. I learned from my previous visit and ordered it Spicy Level 4 out of 5. It was perfect. Nose a little runny but I wasn't hurting at all. Those with higher spice tolerances should probably go 5+ since they seem to keep the spiciness moderately tame. This is my new go-to for lunchtime Thai. It's Tasty!

Best service, food, and value. This is my favorite Thai restaurant. The quality is consistent. Highly recommend!

I've eaten lunch here several times over the years with my co-workers. It is popular so you will do best on weekdays to get there by 11:30 or wait until later in the afternoon to avoid the noontime rush. The Mussaman beef has always been a reliable dish for me. Phad Thai is good too. But today I tried the Chicken Yellow Curry. It was bland and the sauce was watery. The appetizer soup is seasoned nicely and has an appealing texture. Kind of a hybrid between egg drop and hot and sour soup.

Great restaurant! Nice people! Ive eaten here a few times. I ordered 17 dishes to go last week. Ee ate it family style so i got to taste it all. It was all great. I especially enjoyed the red curry. Great place!

This was my first time at Tasty thai and was not impressed. I had the Pad Kee Mao and I have to say it was one of the worst I've eaten. It was sooo sweet...I had to lay on the chili paste quite a bit to offset the sweetness. I couldn't even finish it....it was that bad. Service wasn't that great either although food came pretty fast.

Serviceable. The woman greeting/waiting tables was sweet as pie, and perfectly amenable to letting me linger over a book as long as I liked. She brought me refills of hot water for my tea, and the food was out promptly. Very pleasantly surprised in terms of service. The decor is bland, but about what you'd expect in the crappy strip mall that is Loehman's Plaza (did I spell that right?). Actually, I can barely remember what it looks like which is sad since I was there less than two hours ago. It was small, but after that, I'm out. The food was fine. I ordered the spring rolls, of which there were a small army. They were okay. The plum sauce that accompanied them tasted...odd. And odd is definitely the nicest and most pleasant word I can come up with for it. They were perfectly fried though, and okay enough on their own that I wasn't crying about not having a sauce. Wouldn't order them again, though. Since nothing else jumped out at me for an entree, I fell back on the Pad Thai (chicken) with 3 stars. Definitely should've kicked it up to 4, but I always err on the side of less spicy the first time out. It was pretty good. No oiliness to the noodles, a little sweet but not the sweetest around, and it tasted nice and fresh. Took over half the Pad Thai and about 3/4 of the spring rolls home. Hey dinner tomorrow night, how you doing? I'm not driving out to Factoria just for this place, but if I'm at Nordstrom Rack and get a little hungry, I'd stop in again.

I had an assumption that Tasty Thai must be good cuz it was so busy and crowded during lunch time. And I was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Today was my first time having lunch at Tasty Thai, and it will be my last time as well. My bf and i ordered two dishes, Phad See Eew and Green Curry. Both were bland, especially the Green Curry. Being an Asian who eats a lot of rice, I'd say Tasty Thai's rice was too sticky. So it tasted bad with the curry. I wondered how come they have so many customers. Am I the only one who feels Tasty Thai is not good enought? Hmmmm.......maybe I'm just being too picky tho.

Just in town on business, gave the Phad Thai with Chicken a try, got it 3 or 4 /5 spicy. Taste was pretty good, and pretty much to what I expect for Phad Thai. The soup you get when you sit down was a miss for me, it tasted like a hot and sour soup without the hot.

Edit: I am adding another star. A second trip at 130 proved much more timely and successful. I need to go a second time to really solidify my opinion on this place. I called in my order at 11:30 am on a weekday (tuesday?) and was told (very nicely) that it would be 15-20 minutes. I arrived at the door 20 minutes later. Parking was plentiful, which I took as a good sign, until I reached the place and realized there was already a line out the door of people waiting to just pick up food. This is where the stars just start dropping off. Start rant now: It was windy and rainy, and there was absolutely no room inside for more than four people to wait. At this point, my food could have been ready, but I'll never know because I didn't make it inside the door for another FIFTEEN MINUTES. The policy here seems to be that whoever can get inside the restaurant gets to be helped. There was a distinct difference between the quiet, polite people waiting outside and the loud, pushy patrons who had cut in line in order to get inside. Myself being of the quiet variety, I was not happy in the slightest. By the time I got inside and was handed my food, I was down right pissed and had lost all politeness and I worked to shove my way back out of the restaurant. End rant. Though I didn't start eating until about 12:45, the food was still warm. I ordered an order of chicken phad thai, chicken curry, and a side of white rice. The total was something like $15, and seemed a very fair price for the portions. The phad thai was very satisfying and I didn't have a complaint, though it was nothing special to rave about. I LOVED the chicken curry and it went very well with the white rice, which wasn't at all dry. Overall, I was very happy with the food and prices here. However, the overall experience at the small restaurant just for take out put a huge damper on the place.

OK, the phad thai is so good....even though it's what everyone orders...it's good. I love getting take-out here....even though it is a bit pricey. I have walked by during lunch time during the weekday, and it was insane....don't go then. I've had Thai Ginger across the street, and it was alot greasier than Tasty Thai. The only downside is that my friend found a hair in her food the first time we went there...but since then I've stared hardcore at my food while eating...and I haven't seen any hairs....gross.

Went to Thai Ginger about 5 years ago, and they were packed. I ventured across the street to try the hokey looking place in the strip mall called Tasty Thai. I have since not been back to Thai Ginger. The food at Tasty Thai is pretty darn good to me, and I've never had anything but great experiences with their service. I can definitely advocate take-out as the interior always strikes me as just plain odd. But seriously, go there, order your favorite Thai dish and see if you like it. I can only speak for the Phad Khee Mao as it's what I order 99% of the time.

for those looking for a decent thai lunch spot, remember these 3 things before coming to tasty thai: 1- if you have to go to lunch after 11:30 and before 1, consider doing take out here 2- don't come with a party of more than 4 3- don't always let the crowd in front run you off.. most of them are just waiting to get their to-go order the spring rolls are yummy and definitely an app you should share (i think you get like 15 pieces?!?) the fried rice isn't too greasy... a plus for me! service is always great and efficient

I think I've forgotten what good Thai food tastes like. I think my palate needs some exciting, new food. This is the next restaurant in my Factoria reviews, but I think the mediocrity in this area is starting to mess up my ratings. Try not to go here around lunchtime on a weekday if possible... The T-mobile crowd decends on this place and it might be hard to find a table. Had the Chicken Pad Thai (4 out of 5 stars) here today for lunch "to go". Came with some white rice - spiciness was not pronounced, quality of ingredients was good, and portion for just under $8 is probably enough for two meals. Hey, it's a meal or two. I need to get out of this area. When fast food vs. sit-down restaurant is decided by mood and not necessarily tastes, it's time to venture out

It's all in the name! Soo Tasty! Everything I've had on the menu is good to excellent. My favorite is the red curry, nice chicken (all white which is a plus!) and a light curry sauce, not too heavy. I wouldn't go there for a sit down lunch due to it getting rather busy, but it's perfect for pick up, so make sure you call ahead!

This place isn't my first choice for Thai food, but it wasn't bad. The service was a bit slow, but you can't expect too much during the lunch rush I suppose. The food was good, I had red curry chicken 3 stars and was happy with the portions for the price. Have also tried the Phad Kee Mao and Phad See Iew, both of which were pretty good although I thought the curry was much better. This place is rather small, I wouldn't recommend groups larger than 4. Prices are in line with other similar places, roughly $8 for most lunch specials with choice of chicken, beef or pork. Seafood add $1.50. for those who don't eat meat, they will sub tofu (fresh or fried) for no charge. unlike some places, they are happy to cook your food however you like it. you can actually order online at their website for pickup, but I have never tried it. I usually end up in the parking lot and debate all the restaurants in the strip mall until hunger forces me in one of them

Thai craving satisfied. It was very good Pad Thai and balanced Thai tea (i.e not overly spiked with sweetener and not short on the milk)

Honestly, this place really deserves 2.5 stars as its not horrible.... but tasty it is not. That said, the prices are definitely a bit lower than typical eastside thai places, but I've never been one who felt that sacrificing taste (as the phad see ew was somewhat bland) for dollars was a worthwhile proposition. I should note, that this place is often over-run by people at lunch, but I'm firmly convinced that most of them haven't had good thai food as this place is solidly average at best.

Best Spicy Noodles in the World. The yellow curry is wonderful as well. I have had lunch here almost once a week for the last 10 years. Can't believe all the three star reviews because the food is amazing. Oh well, try it for yourself. If you go for lunch try take out - it's difficult to get a table.

Tasty Thai is an alright place to fill your belly. While nothing's outstanding, nothing's going to kill you either. Pal Jay (who lived in Thailand for 8+ years and speaks fluent Thai) insists that the food is just plain gross. Which makes it fun for me to suggest TT when we make plans to meet. 3 Stars - Not horrible, just not one of my favorite places.

If youre looking for good Thai food and good service come to Tasty Thai. I've had the same waitress for the past 2 or so years and I couldnt be happier about it. She is sweet, as are all the employees I've encountered eating here. The veggies they use are always fresh and the chef is consistently good. I find anything over 2 stars here to be really hot but I am a wuss when it comes to spice.

Yet another Thai restaurant review from me. Dropped in here on a recommendation but found it a bit below par. Service was so-so at best and the food seemed rather bland. In fact the two dishes we ordered looked nearly identical when they arrived. The sticky rice pudding was pretty good though. This one doesnt quite make the cut for me - 2.5 stars really would be about right.

The portions are on the slightly large side for the price although it's still quite pricey compared to other Thai places I've been to (hint hint: O'Char) but compared to the Thai Ginger across the street, their cheaper and have bigger portions. I went there to order takeout at about 12 pm and the place was already packed! I got the chicken pad thai five star. It was good even though I'm not an expert on thai food but it met my craving nevertheless. Docked one star because I wish they had those pad thai lunch combos so many other Thai places offer and the fact that the pad thai wasn't as spicy as I expected plus the slightly high prices. Still not a bad place to check out if your at factoria.
