Great unknown-to-me brunch spot. For $20 we got specially made waffles (I highly suggest the chocolate) and an American breakfast buffet. There was a 20 minute wait but so worth it because the food is really great! Park under Hyatt and take the elevator up to level 2.

This review is for the Sunday Brunch only. Wonderful setting this is the place to bring Mom or Someone special for brunch. There is an expansive buffet. Plus there is a Bloody Mary bar, you order a Bloody Mary and you receive a glass with ice and Vodka. Also they have an omelet station. Plus you can ask for waffles from your server.

They have a mimosa station. Like what more do I need to say?!? I love this place. I accidentally discovered it one morning with friends and we decided to have breakfast/brunch here. When our pancakes and waffles and food came... Oh my. I felt like I was eating an art masterpiece. The dishes are beautiful, perfectly handcrafted. The glaciers combine perfectly.. Ah I'm getting hungry just thinking about this place!! This is a regular of ours, I highly recommend trying it out because you will not be disappointed!!!!

I came here with a group of friends. I was looking for brunch places, and hello! All you can eat buffet. They have two choices-the Continental ($15.95 plus tax) or the American ($19.95 plus tax) buffets. You can also order off of the a la carte menu. The Continental buffet is limited and it's a way better deal to get the American buffet for just a couple dollars more. There was a wide selection of items for the American buffet-mini pancakes, scrambled eggs, a variety of sausages, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruits, muffins/baked goods, made to order omelette and many more. The buffet station is in the middle of the room. There's also a waiter/waitress that will come by to help you place a la carte or omelette or drink orders. They give complimentary OJ and coffee with your meal. I was completely stuffed after eating here. I am definitely coming back here soon!

Had a wonderful time with the mother here. Judge me, but I've never enjoyed continental breakfast. this place is not typical. Very fresh and local ingredients, not greasy, and just the right amount of quality variety. (Eg: lox, quality salami, beechers cheese, fluffy waffles& scrambles, omelettes made to order, etc) Service is maybe the best I've experienced in a long while (maybe it's bc it's part of a hotel?) so I was happy to tip well although the coffee was no Bueno. Yeah, the coffee is the worst thing here. Otherwise, surprise your madre or beloved(s) and cure that hangover while you're at it!

This place is awesome, we've been here for brunch twice and it's been a great experience both times. Staff is friendly and food is so good! Parking under the hotel is free on the weekends and the elevators from the parking garage take you right up to the floor of the restaurant. They've got buffet options as well as great entrée choices. I had the German Chocolate Pancakes last time and they were flipping amazing.

What enticed us the most was the buffet option for only 20 bucks. But you get what you pay for, thus the buffet is affordable because the food isn't exceptional. The buffet includes classic, standard breakfast items like scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, and there's also an omelette bar and Belgian waffles made to order. It seems better on paper than what it really is. The food wasn't bad, but it's not anything I'd ever eat again. The service is good for how busy the place was. We waited 35 minutes for a group of five without a reservation, so it isn't terrible. Mimosas are three bucks, and my friend mentioned that it had more alcohol than OJ, which is always a plus.

Good breakfast spot. Stayed at the Hyatt in Bellevue, Washington for a wedding in Seattle. This restaurant is located inside of the hotel. We had breakfast. Good selection of food. You will enjoy.

I love buffets! I love to try a little of everything. For $20 p/p the price is very reasonable. I called ahead for a reservation, which I recommend, especially on a holiday weekend. Nina, our server was very attentive and prompt. You can either go for the buffet, or order from the menu, OR do a hybrid---order an entree from the menu, in addition to the buffet. I was glad I did because this buffet was more than adequate in the array of foods; however they were "breakfast" items, i.e, no meat dishes, no dessert bar. There is a section of breads and cereals, and "homemade" granola in bar sections that was absolutely the BEST I've ever had. Crunchy w/ plenty of pumpkin seeds and nuts, slightly sticky w/ honey going through it. I wish they sold the stuff! Across from that table was salmon (lox), cheeses, salami, fruit and berries. At the other end of the room were the typical breakfast hot items: banana pancakes, reg. pancakes, two kinds of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs (take a pass on those; go for the omlette station if you want eggs), cooked veg's and potatoes. No alcohol is offered W/ the price of the buffet, but there is an AWESOME Bloody Mary bar w/ tons of add-on's, including bacon, fruit, and salami! Wonderful. And they only charged $3 per shot! Loved it! We got an add-on to the buffet of short ribs, which we decided later we really didn't need, but they were tender and tasty. You can add on entrees such as prime rib, eggs Benedict, crab cake, etc. for $8 more. But seriously, unless you just want to pig out, the buffet and Bloody Mary's are plenty, and offered at a very fair price. We took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. A good time was had by all. No complaints: "it was all good"!

Best breakfast place that I've patronized on the eastside! Parking is abundant if you choose to park in their FREE underground garage. Then you take the elevators up to the Hyatt Hotel. Inside this gorgeous hotel is Eques. Their menu selection is creative and reasonably priced (which surprised us given the location). We ordered a breakfast that had two eggs, potatoes, toast, and a choice of meat. Unreal because it only cost $14.99 for all that! The food was very delicious. Service was out-of-this-world superb! Very attentive, conscientious staff, and very efficient. Kudos to the manager and all the waiters and waitresses of this place!

I brought my husband for Father's Day because I kept reading that this was the best brunch in Bellevue. I'm not sure if it was because it was the Father's Day menu, but I was not that impressed. That's not to say it wasn't good, because it was tasty. But the spread, in my opinion, was nowhere worth the $50/person price tag. I mean Jesus, I was expecting golden eggs at least. But no. I'm pregnant, so I decided to pass on the prime rib and the salmon, but my husband had both and said they were okay. I had scrambled eggs, pancakes, plenty of shrimp, chicken fingers, and mac and cheese. They were just okay, nothing spectacular. We might go back because apparently it's cheaper when it's not a special occasion since, like I said, it wasn't horrible, it was just expensive and I didn't feel like the it fit the price tag. Sidenote: We had to sit outside the restaurant. I didn't complain when we were seated, because I figured that it was just probably busy inside. It wasn't at all. There was plenty of open seating. Halfway through our meal, a hostess went to sit another table outside and they asked if they could sit inside. I heard the hostess tell them that inside was reserved for people with reservations. Which we had and I TOLD them that when we walked up. So that was slightly annoying as well.

Usually we like to enjoy their Sunday brunch buffet. There are 2 options of buffet: American $19.95 and Continental $15.95 Coffee and OJ are included. The fruit smoothies are not included with the buffet, but those are really good ($7 each) Their omelette bar is a highlight for sure. I like to order a one-egg omelet to be able to enjoy the rest of the buffet. They used to have feta cranberry sausage, but we haven't seen them recently. Great service and neat ambience.

It is an ok breakfast spot. No matter how good the food, the arrogance of a 10 minute wait for a mostly empty resturant spoils the experience.

We came here for Valentine's Day breakfast because we had to try the German Chocolate Pancakes. Which were amazingly decadent. The Nutella Stuffed French Toast was also enjoyed. It tasted more like funnel cake, or a doughnut, but we were not complaining! We did not try the buffet because the German Chocolate Pancakes were not available on the buffet. The service was also very friendly and quick.

This a quite the treat. Not a place to go on a daily basis but very delicious. Also $3 mimosa's is a good deal.

Buffet brunches are sooooo dangerous. But I love them (even though I'm one of the most useless people to eat brunch with because I can barely eat 2 plates). I didn't get an item off the menu; I went straight to the buffet. Some high (and low) lights: -They have lavender pancakes. I was hesitant but it tasted like a spa in my mouth (literally what I said when I took a bite). Unique but pretty delicious. -They have waffles made to order. I had the chocolate orange waffles and they tasted incredibly powdery. We did not enjoy that. The apple caramel waffles were amazing though. Not too sweet, and the flavor took me back to the holidays. -Omelette station. Nom. -Crispy bacon. FAVORITE. -They have really good sausage. I think it was an apple sausage? Whatever it was, it was juicy (yes, that's what she said) -Love the layout of the restaurant. It's spacious with the buffet right in the middle. There are televisions and more comfortable seats in the corners of the room which worked well for people doing business. -LOUD. But not in a bad way; more in a festive, fun, everyone's-having-a-great-meal way. -Great service. We loved our waitress who came over every 10 minutes. I wish: -They had more variety of dessert/pastries. -They had more variety of waffles and kept it consistent. I asked for strawberry waffles and they said they didn't have it anymore (I saw it on an old menu). The waitress said they switch this menu every now and then. Last but not least, parking is easy; free parking underground. Major plus.

This place is really good. Located on the second floor of the Hyatt it has a great view of you can sit next to the windows. I came here with my pops for breakfast. I ordered the Belgian Waffles. So, so, good. The best waffle I have ever had. My pops ordered the German Chocolate pancakes. I tried some of the his pancakes. They were really good but they were really, really, rich and I just had some waffles so be prepared for that. The staff was also really attentive and really nice. Nothing but pleasant things about this place.

Excellent service. Very good waffles with chocolate sauce and amaretto whipped cream. Scrambled eggs are good. The decor is bright and clean. Only $20. Unlimited coffee, juice, hot chocolate. Would definitely go again.

We went here for buffet brunch. The buffet spread is not very extensive but gives you enough to enjoy a scrumptious brunch. They offered cold cuts, a cheese tray from Beecher's, salad, different breads, made to order eggs, sausages, beacon, oatmeal, wedges and pancakes. But the offering definitely lacked vegetarian options. The staff was friendly but fly-by. The food was tasty and non veg options were enough. Good place to enjoy a filing american style brunch.

I had the best egg Benedict here! I got the prosciutto one. Other egg benedicts I tried before had a hollandaise sauce that either too oily or too vinegary but this one was perfect. Only thing I didn't really like was the Nutella french toast. It was more like fried balls with Nutella on the inside versus actual toast. Stick with the savory entrees here.

Holy brunch, Batman! If you like breakfast, brunch, a little hair of the dog, or you wanna go Seinfeld style and just have some cereal and coffee, this is your spot. Family-friendly, complete with TVs for catching the game, and the option between tables and booths for both big and small parties, you literally couldn't ask for more. I came here to check out the offerings with a friend and our mouths practically dropped to the floor when we caught the variety of options and meal combos here. It's like a high-end diner... You get eggs, bacon, waffles, and all the classic items you crave, but elevated. The food is local, the ingredients are fresh, and the menu is crazy creative. No sloppy, runny, greasy eggs here. No small pours of vodka for your Bloody Mary. Everything is done BIG! Not knowing what to order, my friend and I decided to try to cover as much of the menu as we could by splitting items. Don't judge! We were hungry! But seriously, you could eat here every day for months and never eat the same thing twice. There are pancake specials like red velvet, lime, and on this particular day, a "banana split" themed pancake stack was available. It was a little rich for my tastes but really tasty! I'd recommend it for folks with a strong sweet tooth. I'm more of a savory breakfast gal so the eggs Benedict were right up my alley. We also decided to roam the room to see other options and spotted charcuterie platters, cheeses, fruit, cereals, oatmeal, a crepe station, omelettes, and more. The hardest part of the experience here was just deciding what to order. But I guess that can be remedied by coming back over and over again!

Great place for breakfast and brunch. Don't default to the buffet as the best food is on the menu. Most ingredients are Fresh, seasonal and local.

I was excited to try this place ever since I'd heard they had $3 mimosas and bloody marys. The restaurant definitely feels like a hotel establishment, but that was not a turn off. I had the pork shoulder, breakfast potatoes and eggs. While it was tasty, it wasn't something that I'd order again. They have a pretty diverse menu, so I plan to be back for a second go round. P.S. The bloody mary was legit!

We came here on a work brunch function and I was fairly impressed by the brunch - so much so that I'm already itching to come back! I had a 1.5 year old with me so I wasn't able to fully take on the buffet but what I did have I liked! It's $20 for brunch buffet and the selection isn't the greatest but I could tell the quality of the food was good. Our server was super nice and he even ordered me an omelet (included with buffet) from the table so that I wouldn't have to get up with my little one! Another mom ordered some made to order waffles from the buffet and he brought out a couple extra selections for her to try! At the end of our meal, he even brought us coffee in to go cups! The buffet itself features omelettes, waffles, and your basics - scrambled eggs, bacon, pork & chicken sausage, oatmeal, cheese, fruit, etc. Nothing that's super unique or amazing but at least the quality is good. =)

If I gave a breakfast place 5 stars, they would get it - but I don't. Anthony was a very gracious and respectable server with a wealth of knowledge about the menu and food. I don't see that much anymore and hear more things like, "I haven't tried that". If you are a server at a dining room, you should eat the food. Only my daughter got the buffet, which is an amazing value for what they offer. Beechers cheeses, coconut banana pancakes, a holy grail of bacon and more! I'd highly recommend visiting this place for brunch with out of town and guests because of the formal setting and the pleasant staff.

Brunch. Brunch. Brunch. Yes. Yes. Yes. I am always on the lookout for a great place to have brunch. We went to one place and then found out they didn't have a menu for children so we got up and left. We had previously seen amazing reviews for this place but the price made us reconsider. Well when you have a wife and two kids that are ready to eat, you don't worry about the price. After going here I'll never worry about it again. The food here is DELICIOUS and the service is TOP NOTCH. I loved being able to wander between regular and white chocolate pancakes, eggs, bacon and other breakfast foods, over to fresh fruits and vegetables, to smoked salmon. I could not believe the variety this place offered. Our kids ate everything we put in front of them and went back for more. I will not hesitate to return and won't bother trying to find anywhere else next time a brunch hunger strikes. Highly Recommend.

The location is kind of weird - it's in the Hyatt hotel! Gotta walk around a bit to find it but there are signs everywhere so you shouldn't have a problem getting there. First time being here was for my sister's early birthday brunch. We decided to go with the buffet option, which was I think $20 pp? I feel like if I lived in the area, I would come here pretty often if I wanted to go to a buffet but lucky for me 1) I live too far, and 2) buffets and I don't get along very well, considering I feel like I never eat my money's worth. However, for $20 pp, it's really not that bad!! You don't have to go with the buffet option though, there's a menu you can order off of. We ordered a few things off the menu but I think the buffet was good enough for me. Pretty simple buffet with your usual pancakes (they also had red velvet pancakes!!), sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, fruits, etc. They also had an omelet station. The service there was wonderful. They were very quick to tend to our requests. They even had a banana nutella french toast (which was delicious, oh my goodness. I don't even like bananas!!) for my sister, complimentary for her birthday. Every waffle my siblings ordered was so good. Light and crispy and delicious, we kept wanting to order more!

I'm in love best brunch ever! Eggs, potatoes, pancakes, OH MY!! So much to choose from and only 20 dollars for all you can eat adult. I also love that you can order different types of waffles.

Ah Eques, such a pleasant laid back brunch. We went with friends and got seated pretty fast (with a reservation) even though half our party was late. The staff is amazing: responsive, polite, and really nice. The food is good though I wish they had more vegetarian cooked options. I enjoyed some of the non-veg food but my companions were feeling a tad jealous. Just to make it clear: there are veggie options a plenty from fresh fruits to muffins and cupcakes or omelets. The mini quiches and sausages and other cooked brunch items are mostly non-veg though.

Best brunch!! Where to start with this amazing little secret!?! Well it's a hidden gem in zither Hyatt Regency. The have 2 different brunch $15.99 or $19.99 and a menu al a carte. We all got the $19.99 American brunch. Coffee, orange juice to start. ( mimosa / Bloody Mary option too). Omelette bar with any meat or veggie of choice with an egg white alternative! Oatmeal, bagels, croissants, muffins, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, pancakes, berry pancakes, Beecher Cheeses, smoked salmon, salami, yogurt, granola, berries: blueberry, raspberry. All you can eat. You will not be disappointed. I mean, it pleases anyone and everyone. From meat eater to vegan. I really enjoyed the omelette bar (took way too long so TIP: go there first). And Beecher's Cheese!!!! 3 different cheeses. Great PNW brunch spot on the east side. FYI does get busy. Reservations encouraged for large parties. *also has a TV*

Located in the sane building as the Hyatt Regency. Free parking on weekends, but busy...get a reservation if you have the time its worth it. Food was good..but I felt it was a bit overpriced. $20 for a breakfast buffet? I got the crab melt. I don't know why I was expecting the world for 16.50..but it was basically a grilled cheese(very buttery) with crab meat and a seasoning I couldn't quite identify. All and all.. wasn't bad.

The best brunch in Bellevue, great food quality and wonderful selections. The price is very reasonable for all the food selections you get. My go to place to impress friends and family when they visit Bellevue. I get most of the time the continental breakfast because it is more than enough for me and I leave very satisfied. I only wish the place would stay open longer!

De-lish hidden brunch spot! Hidden within the labyrinths of Bellevue's Hyatt is one of the most underrated breakfast spots in Seattle. Where to begin.. apricot and salmon pancakes, custom omelette bar, and $3 mimosa/Bloody Mary station?? It's all amazing. Highly recommend dropping dough on the $20 breakfast buffet. Good variety of foods, even featuring Beechers cheese! Service is top notch, extremely attentive and quick. Clean and upscale-y ambiance, it's the Hyatt after all. I should warn this place gets crowded on weekends, so rsvp's are recommended. *One caveat: a lot of the items pictured in their yelp page are no longer available. They must rotator or have seasonal items.

I read a lot of reviews about this place and thought it would be great but I was disappointed. I appreciated the gluten free options on the regular menu and I'm not one for buffets since I can't eat more than one entrée anyways. My boyfriend had the buffet option and thought the choices were lacking. The food was alright. I think I'd rather go to a sit down restaurant or pay more to go to Ivar's Salmonhouse or Palisade for a buffet brunch.

Great place for brunch in Bellevue! The hotel is beautiful! Parking is validated. And the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is very accommodating - excellent service! Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning (no wait) and it turned out to be happy hour as well! You get $3 off the buffet, entrees, and a few drinks. The menu looked really tempting but decided to go with the American buffet - no regrets! Great selection of breads and pastries. They even have different waffles to select from. Tried the maple bacon waffles and was overwhelmed by the salty/sweet flavor. My friend got the chocolate mocha waffles and I surprisingly couldn't get enough (not typically a mocha fan). Customize your own omelettes! Wraps, lox, fruit and veggies, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and yogurt. Great healthy selections and was completely satisfied! Following my trend of supporting places that focus on local foods - the buffet offered a selection of Mt. Townsend cheeses. Eggs are cage free, and milk is hormone-free. Will definitely be coming back!

Superior service... I have half a mind to contact their general manager and find out how he/she instills such high quality customer service skills in the staff. Good buffet food, which you can NEVER find. Waffles and omelets made to order. My wife who is vegetarian had crazy amounts of options. The smoked salmon and Beecher cheese was a welcome surprise. Well priced, good strong coffee, fruit bar fresh. Everything was quality and all local.

I am still beaming with happiness after having an amazing brunch this morning at Eques. The question is to buffet or not to buffet. They tempt you with wonderful items on the main menu, but after walking through the buffet which includes made to order omelettes, made to order waffles with 4 specialty topping options such as mocha or bacon or strawberry (sounds like the dessert made to order item gets switched up based on what I read in other reviews), hot dishes which included biscuit gravy, different types of sausages, bacon, egg, potatoes, bagels, croissants, desserts, rolls with salmon or salumi salumi (local), Mt. Townsend Creamery cheeses (my favorite local cheese brand), fresh fruits, veggies with special sauce. They even had adorable mini containers of unopened ketchup, honey, jam, and tabasco sauce at each table. It was heaven. The service was impeccable even asking as we were asking for our bill if we wanted some juice or coffee to go. Browsing through reviews just now, I noticed people mentioning made to order smoothies and lattes which I did not see. Although, it makes me curious for next time I go if they are still offering those as part of the buffet. Happy Hour breakfast - Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 10:00am, Sundays noon - close with $3 Mimosas & Bloody Marys, $3 off all entrees and buffet (buffet before happy hour discount is $19.50) Parking validated - You enter on 10th street, park p3, take elevator to lobby, cross street to Hyatt hotel, and take stairs up to second floor towards right side. Service at hotel was great. They saw me trying to find something, and pointed me right away to the correct direction. If I was going to be nitpicky, the only suggestions I would have would be the following: Hotter water for the water that comes with tea Instead of putting the salmon and salumi salumi in rolls, offer them on their own for guest to choose how they want to eat them. My friend and I found that the other ingredients in the wraps took away from the flavor of the salumi, and I would have liked to put some smoked salmon on a bagel. If do this, might want to offer half bagels or mini bagels instead of the full bagels.

Great breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. Specialty waffles were excellent as were the made to order omelettes. Our server also brought us Nutella stuffed French toast which was so good. I don't think that is part of the regular buffet but we noticed another table that was celebrating a birthday as we were also got the French toast. I'd go back just for that.

This place has the power to draw west-siders out and all the way to Bellevue. The brunch is fantastic! The blueberry stuffed French toast is divine! The perfect balance of sweet and savory & crispy and soft. The banana pancakes with mascarpone gives serious completion to the French toast and so does the crab cake Benedict! The Bloody Mary bar has chillies infused vodka for those who like it hot!

Good coffee, Buffett was just ok. Not a large choice either. Scrambled eggs in Buffett over cooked, which is common, bacon was crispy but a little chewy. Nice meat tray from Salumi. My 6 year old liked the cereal choices. No fresh squeezed orange juice, limited breakfast tea choices. Bloody Mary was good, the ticket price doubled in it though with a liquor charge. Atmosphere was fun and the service was attentive. You could do worse.

Great spot for brunch. We hit it up on a Saturday morning at 10am. No wait but I would definitely take the 30 seconds and put in a reservation online at opentable.com . Server was top notch - Jessica will take care of you. Selection was just right for the American buffet. $20 pp with 50% off for the kiddos. Buffet comes with some made to order omelettes and waffles (bacon and mocha were awesome). Buffet eggs were perfect and not left out to dry out. Perfect for families. Something for everyone.

Head Start Ambience: 3 Food: 4 Drinks: 5 Value: 4 How else better to start the weekend than with a fully stocked bloody mary bar, including some jalapeno infused vodka, at $3 ($3 mimosas, if that suites you better). Inside (2nd level) the classy Hyatt Regency hotel in Bellevue, is this fantastic breakfast find. Serving up classy breakfasts (usually), they step it up for weekend brunch. The food is well executed and tasty, the Dungeness crab egg Benedict is my recommendation. Nonetheless, the highlight must be the fantastic drinks, which they start serving at 9am (though the full bar isn't set up until 10), and continue until 1pm. Excellent! They will even put on the football game for you if you ask; after all, you got get a head start for those east coast early start Seahawks game

A decent brunch available in Bellevue. The good: They have a reasonably priced breakfast buffet that includes drinks (even smoothies). The selection is pretty good, but it does feel like a hotel restaurant brunch. They have pancakes, scrambled eggs, an omelet station, oatmeal, fresh fruit and cheeses/cold meats. Bloody Marys and Mimosas are only $3, but with the buffet, free! The bad: The place is really noisy and swarming with kids. You can't really enjoy your mimosa the way you can at other places. Some of the buffet food offered is just bland ( like the scrambled eggs and pancakes). I'll definitely come back, but maybe late morning, once the kiddies have been fed.

What an awesome place for breakfast in Bellevue. The food options are unique and delicious. For example, the banana split pancakes are to die for. They serve $3 mimosas and bloody Marys during brunch and provide free parking on weekends and 3 hour validation during the week. I also recommend the signature egg Benedict, which are served with smoked salmon or a singleness crab cake. Either option can't be beat. If you prefer something sweet, like me, try the blueberry graham cracker French toast-- basically a fancy funnel cake with berries and cream. Super good! I strongly recommend and will return.

We stayed 1 night at the Hyatt Regency and slept in, so decided that brunch at Eques made the most sense. It's on the higher priced side, as most hotel buffets are, but it wasn't bad at all. It's a pretty basic buffet, but the made-to-order omelets and waffles were a nice touch and well executed. The smoked salmon wasn't the highest quality, but I guess that's to be expected. Service was very good. The $20pp includes non-alcoholic beverages, but the list of entree items on the table comes at an additional price--that was disappointing (the brunch list doesn't have a price listed or any explanation, so I assumed it was a description of what was included in the buffet; my error). Overall, it was an acceptable value and good experience. Nothing to write home about, but I would happily go back.

A decent brunch/ breakfast place locate by the fashion square. I really enjoy the location because away from everything and it's located inside the Hyatt. You can make reservation but the kitchen closes at noon. The buffet is a little pricy for normal American breakfast food... But they do have couple items on the menu that we like (the stuffed French toast and the egg white omelet). The service is top notch! We were well taken care of by the staff. This is a place for you if you are looking for a nice and quiet place to enjoy your morning reading and coffee!

Ok, been here twice now and it's a solid 4 stars. First time it was with a large group with all of us going the buffet route. We also ordered the pear stuffed french toast and tiramisu pancakes to share. Highlights were the made-to-order omelets, fresh smoothies, and the dessert-like french toast and pancake entrees (seriously, I wouldn't eat these by themselves). We had a lot of requests between the eight of us (drinks, omelet specifications, etc) and our server listened and responded with ease and efficiency. Went again today for breakfast entrees and the tiramisu pancakes to share. The food was spot on. Between my parents and I we ordered the prosciutto eggs benedict, crab cake benedict, vegetable hash, and an order of tiramisu pancakes. We loved it all. The arugula salad came with the savory entrees and was a feast for the eyes (rainbow radish slices with juicy grapefruit and orange on a bed of arugula!). They were generous with the crab meat on the benedict and the sauce really complimented the dish well. My mom was oo-ing and ah-ing as she ate her veggie hash because it had all these great squash and corn and greens that made her so happy. Perhaps my prosciutto was the least amazing--good, but it didn't taste out of the world good. I guess I'm also not a fan of the sauce, but that's a preference thing. Our server today (Jeffrey) was really thoughtful and split the pancakes three ways. So they were smaller stacks, but each individually decorated like the full serving. Looked like art. I love that their food looks like art! I docked a star because we had to remind them it was HH for the $3 off per entree. And even then only realized after leaving that they took off $3 from 3 entrees, when we ordered 4. Someone else on here mentioned that they didn't get the HH price when they went. I don't think customers should have to ask for the promo price, it should be given. And when given, not done in error! Great food, great service, just need everyone to get on the same page! Come on management!

The breakfast buffet here was included with our room at the Hyatt so I did not know what to expect. What a wonderful surprise! The staff could not have been more pleasant and attentive. Today was the first day of a new menu item, waffles made to order, and I was sincerely asked for my feedback by several staff. The bacon waffles were fabulous, the strawberry waffles were a little tart and I was overwhelmed with the amount of topping. After that I was full, but the wait staff really wanted me to try the apple waffles. I just couldn't do it, but I will try to make a trip back soon to give them a go; the word from the wait staff is that they taste just like apple pie. Yum!

We go to Eques pretty often for weekend brunch. Their American Buffet is definitely worth the money! I love their waffles, smoked salmon and made-to-order eggs! Also, I love that if you ask them, they prepare coffee or tea for to-go. Mosey of servers are nice too. Whenever we have guests from out of town, we bring them to Eques and they are very happy with fresh local ingredients food!

Great to have Eques in Bellevue for a decent breakfast place. The food selection is medium size. You may order from menu or go for the buffet. The food quality is at par but my favorite is the Salumi Artisan Cured Meat. I don't have to wait in line for Salumi. Open M-Sun Sunday closed at 130pm (I think that is too early for brunch) Only open for breakfast - how wasteful...

Convenient to Bellevue Art Museum I usually prefer small, family run restaurants but for a brunch before hitting the museum it fit the bill. The food was fine, nothing extraordinary. It was nice to have linen and table service. The server was quite good keeping the teapot full of hot water.

I love brunch and am a brunch fanatic! It is my favorite meal of the day! I came here for the first time for Mother's Day. I brought my mom, two sisters, and my grandmother. It was a ladies day out and absolutely delightful. The restaurant is located inside the Bellevue Hyatt. The only reason I know about this place was through word of mouth. However, I immediately checked Yelped and was sold after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. I knew my family would love it, plus the location was ideal for all of us. The hotel is very nice inside with an elegant feel to it. The restaurant is located on the second floor and I'm not sure if it because it was Mother's Day and they knew it would be packed but there was seating outside in front of the restaurant. Wasn't a bad set up but had a some echoing from everyone talking. The menu had 2 buffet options and a good amount of breakfast entrees ranging from pancakes, to waffles, to omelets. Lots of choices and variety, which is something I like to see. The buffet was very reasonably priced. The American Buffet is about $20 (great price) and the Continental Buffet is slightly less. I got the American Buffet which is why I only know the price of that one :) The American Buffet includes, pancakes, bacon, eggs, omelet bar, fruit, cereal, smoothies, oatmeal, potatoes, and yogurt. This is the first time I have ever seen smoothies as part of a buffet offering. They give you a small glass which is good because then you can try multiple flavors! I'm all about testing/trying different flavors. My grandmother who doesn't have the capacity to enjoy a buffet, got an egg white omelet that came with lots of fruit and a fresh citrus salad. It was a big portion and everything looked so bright, colorful, and fresh! Eques serves all organic foods with no added hormones. The service was great. Never had to wait long for my smoothie or omelet. My juice and water was constantly being refilled. My waitress was very nice and did chit chat with us a bit. Very informative on what was included in the buffet. She helped us decide if the buffet was the way to go or stick to just ordering an entree. Lots of smiles and very cheerful! Overall a fantastic experience. My mom and grandmother were very happy and full. My sisters enjoyed it as well and we had a lovely ladies day out. I would recommend this place to anyone especially those on the east side. We don't have many great brunch places on this side. This one will be a repeat go-to spot.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Bellevue. Located on the second floor rotunda of the Wintergarden section of the Hyatt, Eques has all your morning favorites. A few of personal selections include; dungeness crab cake eggs benedict, blueberry brioche stuffed french toast, and fluffy buttermilk pancakes. The food is great and the ambiance is very comfortable. They have several large TV's so you can watch the game while you stuff yourself with breakfast treats. They do offer a buffet, but I haven't had a chance to partake yet. Perhaps next time I come in I'll succumb to the calorie bonanza and belly up to the buffet. Oh, almost forgot, $3 bloody marys and mimosas, top shelf for only $5.

Pretty standard American fare. The thing that really gets me about these diners is the low quality industrial cooking oil they use for the omlets. Do people not understand that the taste of the omlet is destroyed by using such awful cooking oils? The pancakes and waffles looked good but I had already ordered the omlet. They do have a great big bowl of fresh berries, which is a rarity in brunch places of this caliber. Probably won't be going back.

We were in for some breakfast before watching an afternoon movie at Lincoln Square Cinemas. This place has really tasty gluten free pancakes! They tasted like cornbread. The breakfast buffet looked amazing too and that's what i'll be trying next...

The full buffet is definitely the way to go here. For $20 per person, you get access to everything from omelets to oatmeal to cold cheeses and bakery items. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and not super dry like some buffet eggs get. The bacon was crispy but not burnt. They had a really interesting andouille sausage grits that were spicy and yummy and different. I tried a little taste of everything including the cottage cheese with fruit compote. OMG soooo yummy. They also had fresh berries and so I added some of those to the cheese/compote combo. The compote was very sweet and then the freshness of the berries and the creaminess of the cottage cheese. It was fantastic! We heard the waffles are the thing to have here, but didn't get to try them as they are not on the buffet. Perhaps someday. :) We will definitely be returning!

God is in the details! Crab Cake Eggs Benedict started with perfectly poached eggs sauced with an exceptional interpretation of a Hollandaise sauce. The plate was beautifully presented with three kinds of berries two different melons plus pineapple. Each of these elements were at a peak of ripeness, and exploding with flavor. The small arugula salad was an excellent counterpoint to the fruit. exceptional ingredients, handled with care. Not to be missed. To add to the meal, Angel, our server was someone who enjoys people and her service shows it! A perfect way to start the day!

I was really excited to try Eques for brunch after reading the reviews here but because we got such a crappy server, I ended up with a pretty "Meh" experience. My husband and I came this morning for Saturday brunch and was happy to have no wait and be seated right away. We were told by the hostess that our server "Jessica" would be right with us. We sat for a good 5 min with no acknowledgement, until another server came by with some coffee and OJ and once again said our server would be Jessica. After a few more minutes, Jessica is still no where to be found and we were getting hungry, so we ended up just getting food from the buffet line anyways. The food selection wasn't very big, but included typical breakfast favorites like oatmeal, pancake, bacon/sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs. There were some pastries, salami, smoked salmon and fresh fruit as well. The omelets were made to order with your server, but since I still couldn't find Jessica, I ended up just ordering it myself with the chef. Jessica finally appeared out of no where with no introduction after we sat down and gave us some water. I had to look at her nametag to realize she was our server. For the rest of the meal, she came maybe a couple of more times to clear plates. I saw her standing in the corner of the restaurant chatting with her coworkers when I was trying to get the check. The food overall was good, so hence the extra star. I was really disappointed to come home and read on yelp that they had made to order stuffed french toast that the server was supposed to tell us about. Also, we missed out on made to order lattes and smoothies as well. No wonder I felt like the selection was small, since we missed out on the highlights! For $20/person I felt like I didn't eat very much. I'm really disappointed that I didn't get to try the french toast that looks so good in the pics that others have posted. If I ever do go back, I hope I get a different server, because Jessica sure didn't seem to care that she had a job to do.

Food, service, and ambiance is all wonderful here. Kids 5 and under eat for free with one adult buffet. Weekends can get busy so reservations are recommended. Highly recommend eques!

Apple crisp waffles are a must. The have lattes made to order as well, included in buffet price. Service with Deniz was very good. Omelet station (made to order) had bacon, chicken sausage, ham, sausage, spinach, green peppers, onions, jalapeños, cheddar, american or combo cheese. Waffles to order were apple crisp, banana, bacon chive - apple crisp was our choice. On the buffet, fresh fruit (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, melon, several cheeses, steel cut oatmeal, yogurt, homemade granola, croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon, apple sausage, gouda sausage, roasted potatoes, pumpkin pancakes, and regular pancakes. The bacon was hit or miss, some pieces were very greasy and others were nice and crispy. The sausage was a bit cold. Pumpkin pancakes were cooked perfectly without the need for syrup. We had egg white omelets with bacon and avacado, made more like an egg taco without the traditional mixing of everything into the eggs (added a little late), however still delicious. For 19.50, the buffet is only worth it if you use the made to order station, otherwise its just another breakfast buffet that should be $5.

Great breakfast with healthy options. I stay at a competitor hotel down the street, but walk 1/2 mile to this place in the Hyatt for breakfast as it is the best option I have found in Bellevue. I'll be back several times... I go with 5 Stars as a rating for business travelers (would probably be 4 for a meal out with friends) because I was seated fast, they have healthy options, and I was out of there in 15 - 20 minutes. Much better quality of food than other hotel restaurants I visit. I had the buffet and had a made to order omelette which was fantastic! They have fresh fruit (which was good quality,) and the usual buffet options (pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon etc.) They also had Beechers Cheese (local brand,) which is amazing, so that was an added bonus. Perfect for a quality quick breakfast if you are traveling.

Went to Eques for a Sunday brunch. Service was okay. After being seated it took about 5-10 minutes to get the attention of a waiter to order drinks/food. Ordered the American Buffet. However, the food was okay. Wasn't really anything particular that stood out for me.

Best breakfast this side of the Mississippi! I couldn't sleep last night because I couldn't stop thinking of there waffles. I was imagining I was Garth from the movie Wayne's world and they were playing Jimmy Hendrix (Foxy Lady). And I went down on those sweet waffles!

Had breakfast here with the wife and kids - the wife and I both enjoyed the specialty eggs benedict. I had the Prosciutto & Citrus while the wife had the Smoked Salmon. Both were fantastic but overall the Prosciutto & Citrus was the real winner. The other winner was the fact that the kids got to eat the buffet for free since they were under 4. Coffee and Juice was included and Mimosas and Bloody Mary's were a reasonable $3. All in all this was an excellent value and I look forward to dining here again and again.

Yep, we're going back! We ate here on a busy Sunday morning for brunch. We spent the extra money and got the brunch that included sausage, bacon, eggs and pancakes. It was worth it! Free parking on the weekends. Eat here when you are very hungry, there's lots to try. It's not Salty's, but it's close to my house and pretty darn good for the eastside! Don't forget to try those Tiramisu pancakes! OMG! It's breakfast and dessert all served at once!

A great -- and probably the best -- place for brunch in Bellevue. You simply can't match the selection and freshness of the "American Buffet". For the price (about 20 dollars, and 3 dollars less if you can come during "happy hour"), you get smoothies, omelets made-to-order, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, eggs and sausage, local cheeses, fresh fruit and yogurt, smoked salmon, and on and on. While almost perfect, I'll deduct 1 star for the following reasons: (a) some items, such as scrambled eggs, don't appear to get refreshed as brunch wears on, and (b) they only give you the happy hour price if you mention it. (The latter in particular seems a little cheap considering what a nice setting it is otherwise.)

As someone who is well traveled, I've been to a lot of hotel breakfast buffets. This one is definitely among the top 10. Here are the highlights: - Made to order omelettes or eggs: They have a variety of options to choose from from spinach, bacon, apple sausage, turkey, etc. You can even have your omelettes made with egg whites instead! You don't even have to wait- they bring the omelette to you. I've never seen that service before. - Made to order stuffed french toast: We didn't see this on the buffet line (we must have missed the menu card for), but we are grateful to our waitress for informing us. I've heard of made to order omelettes, but made to order french toast is a rarity to me among hotel buffets. There are options to choose from, like balsamic strawberry, blueberry cheesecake, maple bacon, apple pear crisp, etc. We were a bit overwhelmed so we split a balsamic strawberry... it was heaven. The sauce was sweet and tangy, and the stawberries were plentiful. The French Toast itself reminded me of a funnel cake, though it reminded my boyfriend of a doughnut. It was still really good! - Huckleberry Pancakes, Chorizo Polenta, Chicken Apple Sausage: These were some "unique" items on the buffet line... though I am pretty sure the choices rotate daily. The Huckleberry pancakes had a lot of huckleberries in it and were light and fluffy. The Chorizo polenta tasted great for someone who's never really had polenta, good texture... like a savory/cheesey oatmeal? Haha. As for the chicken apple sausage, I do not like regular sausage but these are a good substitute! - Drinks are included in the buffet option. We aren't coffee drinkers, but you can have lattes, coffee, etc. I thought that was a nice addition. - Good variety of fruit: It's always good to eat fruit during a heavy brunch... helps your stomach settle for the digestive period that's yet to come. They had lots of berries and melon slices. I also thought it was nice they had whole apples AND peaches for taking. I like peaches, so it was nice to eat one during a heavy meal. - Recently they started doing a Happy Hour Brunch - on weekdays after 8:30 am you can get $3 off buffet options or menu items (I believe on weekends, it's after noon). Since the American buffet is $19, during Happy Hour it is $16. It must be pretty recent, because when we got there at 8:30 am, they weren't sure if it started at 8 am or 9 am or if the buffet option was included. Sure enough when I showed the waitress the menu on their website, she honored the deal with no questions. Not sure how long this promotion will go for, but it's best to check the website's menu as that's where it was advertised.

Really nice brunch spot with a buffet and a la carte options. The buffet is fairly priced due to the quality of the food and it comes with non-alcoholic drinks. It was like 19 bucks. Very friendly waitstaff as well. We got there as they were closing 1:30, but they let us order what we wanted and allowed us to stay for a good amount of time. Will definitely come again when staying in Bellevue.

This is a fantastic brunch spot in Bellevue, which is exactly what the Eastside has been missing. Locally sourced ingredients, $3 mimosas and bloody marys (with bacon, even!), delicious food cooked to order for very inexpensive prices, and free parking on weekends? Color me delighted. I highly recommend the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, Banana Split pancakes, and Blueberry stuffed french toast (and I don't even like French toast!).

Eques is now one of our favorite brunch destinations in Bellevue! Going for their Happy Hour gets you the best deal as it knocks $3 off their already great buffet prices. Even at their regular price at $19.50 though, I still think it's a great deal for all that you get! Aside from the usual breakfast suspects like breakfast potatoes, yogurt and fresh fruits, cereal bar, homemade granola, smoked salmon, sausages, steel cut oatmeal, etc., they also offer made-to-order omelettes and made-to-order stuffed french toast in different varieties. We tried the Mocha Caramel and the Strawberry Balsamic ones and while i don't eat eggs/dairy much, these were amazing! It'll be very hard to stay away from french toast after this. Fresh fruit juice, tea, coffee, and espresso drinks are also included in the buffet price. They even asked us if we wanted another latte to go and fresh cups of orange juice for us to bring on our way out. So sweet! Who else does that?!!? They were very accommodating of dietary restrictions, too. They made our little boy a plate of vegan pancakes. And while they were not the best tasting pancakes, we certainly appreciated the effort. We were even able to ask the chef at the omelette station to whip up a plate of just vegetable hash since my son couldn't eat eggs, and the chef was happy to oblige. Will definitely be visiting for brunch again and again and again! :) UPDATE: Went back to Eques for their weekend brunch just a couple of days after our first visit. (Yep, we are loving this place A LOT!) And while the server we got on this visit wasn't quite as hospitable as the server during our last visit, the chefs at the made-to-order station more than made up for the okay table service we received. I asked for their Stuffed French Toast and was told that on weekends, they offered Made-To-Order Smoothies instead of the Stuffed French Toast and I was so sad! After having convinced myself that the Orange Creamsicle Pancakes they had as part of the buffet would be good enough, one of the chefs offered to make an exception and asked if I still wanted the Stuffed French Toast since it was my birthday. They even brought it to our table with a birthday candle. So sweet! So if you're after the stuffed french toast, go on a weekday! Also, if you want to get $3 off of the buffet price, you have to let them know you're there for Happy Hour. Otherwise they don't take the discount off automatically. According to our last server, it wasn't something they advertised or announced.

Don't get the bloody mary. It's unfortunate since it's $3, but it's got no flavor. That was the only negative thing that I have to say about this place. The service is really great. My coffee cup never went more than halfway empty without the offer of a fill-up. They didn't rush me out of there either as I scrolled through my flipboard articles and ate every last bite on the plate. That food was SOOO good!!! (I posted a picture) The menu has a little bit of everything and I want to try it all. It's more than reasonably priced for what you get. I will definitely be going back. Make sure to go a little early to avoid any crowds. It seemed to be getting more busy when I was leaving.

Brunch selections are slim pickings in downtown Bellevue so for a Brunch date with my buddy I decided to give Eques a chance, despite only having 7, although stellar reviews. First things first, Eques is located on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt. During the weekend you can park in Bellevue place, which directly leads to the Hyatt, for free. Sweet! First impression: Looks pretty impressive from outside, inside: typical hotel decor. But not as bad as other reviewers say. Restaurant isn't terribly busy or terribly full, slightly surpising given that it's a Holiday weekend (Thanksgiving). My friend and I ordered off the menu, although a reasonable breakfast buffet is available for 15-19 dollars. Menu? Surprisingly creative, local, and seasonal. Very "pacific northest" from the grits with Beecher's cheese down to the Walla Walla red onion jam. My friend orders the Alaskan Dungeness Crab benedict and after much indecision, I choose the 2 eggs any style with Shortrib and grits with Beecher's cheese. Our waitress is super pleasant and even throws in a stuffed French toast with stone fruit compote and mascarpone on the house! (It was my alternative choice) Our dishes arrive and I'm pleased. The benedict is reallllly good ("I wish I ordered that" good) and my shortrib dish is slightly underseasoned but the onion jam makes up for it, although I wish there was more. The stuffed french toast was delicious! Not too sweet, very pillowly and soft with a sort of fried exterior, kind of like a donut. The food is solid and looked pretty on a plate! I love brunch, love love love brunch. The other thing missing was that "brunch ambiance." You brunch-addicts know what I'm talking about. 4.5 stars from me! But I'll round up to 5 given the great service!

Tiramisu pancakes were absolutely dope, if that was the only thing I had this place would be 5 stars. However the omelette's are cooked with way too much butter, essentially overpowering the flavor of the actual omelette and its contents and the coffee was burned. The service was quick, and attentive. Basically it seems like the menu is hit and miss, buffet looked like standard upper-end hotel fare.

  • Kin R.

Disappointed. There was coffee residue on the cups and crumbs on the table...not as clean as it should be. The buffet had limited selections, the orange juice was concentrate. Breakfast just as good can be had for half the cost.

I'd go again! We took my father for the Father's Day Brunch and at first were a tad bit underwhelmed. But that was before we started exploring the unending and creative dishes placed all over Eques and enjoying tasting every delicious thing. Anyone who goes will find something to love! For once the beverages were included and unlimited. The table service was professional and gracious. I loved the salmon, the creative version of eggs benedict, the healthy veggie offerings and the very well executed desserts. It was a blur of "YUM"!! It was $45 for brunch that day so I am not sure what the usual price is, nor am I sure the brunch is the same every time. But other Yelpers love it so it's worth a try, right? I'll be going back for sure.

Their service is great, but food is only Soso. M so excited to go there when I see those past reviews. In fact, the buffet only includes salad, fruit, yogurt, and bread. Just normal brunch.. No tiramisu pancake no egg Benedict......

This is the best breakfast buffet in Bellevue! The Hyatt's Eques offers a ~$16 version or a 19.95 version. The continental includes Steelcut oats, house-made granola, lox, fruits, pastries, cereals, salami and much, much more....also, juice and coffee are included! The higher priced version includes eggs, bacon, sausage, custom omelets as well as all of the Continental items. It seems every Hyatt has a slightly different breakfast. This is a very good one and the service each day for 5 days is excellent.

I and my kids went to the buffet on the snow day when schools were off. Eques quickly became one of our favorite brunch places. However they didn't give us the discount as it says on the review knocking $3 off after 8:30 am on weekday deal. My kids' favor - potatoes. My favor - freshly cut fruits.

Nice breakfast to go place, buffet looks yummy. We tried the breakfast menu instead of the buffet because girls eat small portion. The tiramisu pancake and the chicken sausage omelet are the best. The crab cake Benedict is great but not the best. I highly recommend this place. Service is nice. 4 of us enjoy the visit so much.

This place was delicious! The stuffed french toast was perfect and not too rich. The buffet was perfect even for our 18 month old. The only negative thing would be paying took a little too long. But other than that service and food were both outstanding.

OK we came here on 7/13 and 7/14. We were staying at the Hyatt and this restaurant is on the 2nd floor! Thought my room was way over priced but my AAA membership got me the free breakfast. Came in not expecting much and was blown away by made to order omelettes, eggs any style, and a buffet that had some awesome orange french toast amoung others!!! The service and hospitality was off the hook!! Next time in Bellevue we will for sure come here for breakfast!!

This is one of the few hidden gems of Bellevue. My wife and I were going to "play hooky" from work on a Friday and were looking for a place to have a great breakfast and the traditional (and mandatory) Bloody Mary and/or Mimosa. In my search I stumbled over this place. I initially dismissed it as "just the generic restaurant in a hotel" (it's in the Hyatt) but it was the only one that fit the "booze at breakfast" bill. When we arrived, the décor matched my (low) expectations. It could not look any more like a generic hotel restaurant . But I was blown away by the food. Excellent, fresh, local and creative. My wife had pulled pork breakfast tacos and I had an egg white omelet with chicken apple sausage. I'm sure you're asking yourself "but how were the Bloody Mary and Mimosa?" since I harped on them. Wonderful! Oh, and? Only THREE DOLLARS each. WHAT??? Where can you get a drink anywhere for $3? One of the other reviewers commented on the service. I thought it was good; attentive but not overbearing. Our coffees stayed full, the food came out quickly, etc. Can't ask for more than that. So, if you're looking for a change from the Pancake Corral or Brief Encounter, check this place out.

Solid 4.5 stars. On the 2nd floor of the Hyatt this place had great service. Our server Sara was very attentive and and nice. The quality of the breakfast buffet was amazing and it was only $19. Instead of coffee I got a hot pear cider. Tart, spiced, and very tasty. A great place to bring family and out of town guests if you want to be able to walk to the mall afterwards.

Absolutely loved the brunch at Eques. Our server was amazing and very helpful and the brunch buffet was well worth $19. It included juice, tea or coffee and anything from the buffet plus omelets to order and we even were able to get smaller ala carte versions of dishes on the menu. The mimosas were also only $3 and if they have it on the buffet, try the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with chorizo....AMAZING!!!!

Eques is just okay at $19.50 for their breakfast buffet. I still think it's a okay deal. You get the usual breakfast, like breakfast potatoes, sausages yogurt and fresh fruits, cereal bar, homemade granola, beacon, smoked salmon, sausages, steel cut oatmeal, etc., they also offer made-to-order omelets They also have fresh fruit juice, tea, coffee, and espresso drinks Made to order omelets was good. You get to pick what to put in the omelets, and it was cook perfectly. However, the omelets station is in the public area. I guarantee that you will smell like omelets for rest of the day.

Had the pear and stuffed French Toast and it was delicious. It's a hotel restaurant so it's quite expensive but worth it.

Worst service! The place is nice and clean, the food is local, and it is acutally good, but the service was the absolute worst. I don't usually give a bad review and I am not a high maintence customer but I felt like I should give potential customers a word of warning. My party and I waited for a very long time to be seated, the server was arrogant toward us, and we waited for our meal for quite a long time. After we left we phoned the manager and calmly explained our experience, she blew us off and kind of acted ditzy, it was strange. This is not the kind of establishment I want to give my money to, there are too many other good restaurants in the area.

Me n BFF were staying at a different hotel a couple of blocks away on a Sat. AM and after seeing Yelp reviews on Eques, speed walked over at 11:45, making it to Eques at about 11:52, with closing time being 12:00. The staff didn't make a single gesture to indicate that they were annoyed at us coming in so late (or at least didn't show it). In fact, the cook kindly approached me to let me though that though they wouldn't be refilling the items that were out, he was happy to oblige with providing us with anything we didn't see out/items running low on the counters. We went with the $19 brunch which is a DEAL considering the quality of all of the items we got: super fluffy egg white omelets, cheeses, figs, raspberries, blackberries, croissants, frittatas, blueberry cheesecake tempura fried French toast for me, maple bacon tempura fried French toast for BFF. Yes, we ate it ALL. We even requested sauce for our frittatas, and aforementioned cook offered the citrus cream sauce that they usually put on their benedicts. Sauce was on point! We even dipped our croissants in it, it was that good. Our server, Deniz, was attentive and polite without being smothering. We observed that the staff, overall, were professional and efficient (i.e, worked well with one another, no smack talking in front of customers -- can't believe how many places that happens) and all the food was fresh and delicious. The dining room is nicely appointed (carpeted floors, upholstered chairs), for a relaxing weekend brunch. Definitely definitely coming back here my next Seattle area visit.

Gave this place a shot with the extended family as a potential new brunch place, and were thoroughly satisfied. Great food, great service, nice ambience. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

had the dungeness crab cake benedict, remoulade, pepper jelly actually was not appetizing at all the; the flavors in no way complemented each other. my companion was also very unhappy with his breakfast as well. I've had way better breakfast experiences at wild mountain café and volterra. the very umimpressive breakfast was also paired with a very expensive check. definitely, do not recommend this restaurant.

First time reviewer, long time yelp lurker--- figured I'd join the yelp nation .... Flew into Seattle last night and rented a car for our stay in Bellevue. After an early morning workout, found this breakfast gem on yelp. Wonderful service and excellent food. Had the buffet and as usual, ate more than I should have. The smoked salmon was top shelf as were the eggs made to order. My wife had the crab cake Benedict which was perfectly good but a tad heavy. The buttermilk pancake was better than the red velvet one, and the caramel apple waffle was a bit too sweet for my taste. Would go back and probably will in the next couple days!

They hooked me at $3 mimosas, and breakfast happy hour - but failed to execute on the actual food, I had the crabcake benedict and it was not good. It was served luke warm, the biscut was pretty mushy, the peper jelly was gross (I am sure for some people who are more sweet/savory mixers it might have been an awesome take on an old classic, but I found it pretty terrible). My husband got the proscutto beneduct and it tasted how I would envision smelly feet taste. The coffee was good, and the portion size is good, although it should be for almost $20 for breakfast. It came with a large arugala salad which was a nice touch. Our server Jessica was very nice and helpful and did an excellent job (which was funny to me because one of the other reviews I read totally bashed her, but we found her absolutely great!), she actually warned me that she was a benedict lover and that this benedict steered too far from the classic style, and I totally should have listened! Over $40 for breakfast, with only one $3 mimosa for two people seems way too steep for me, basically I left full but dissapointed, so I wouldn't go back, but I think it is partially due to the style not being for me.
