We came here for Richard Sherman's after party, great atmosphere, good music, the staff was really nice! I don't know the drinks we had, since it was ordered for the table, but I do know I had Spinach and artichoke dip, and Margherita flatbread. It was delicious!!!! The flatbread was seriously amazing. The dip was good, but I would come back again just for the flatbread :) Overall very nice place, we had so much fun that night! The staff really took care of us.

Liz and I popped in and just made happy hour. Our server let us order several drinks and our food immediately so we could get the discounted pricing. Everything was delicious. The drinks were well made and tasty, and our food was yummy. We were initially brought out the wrong dish, but after finishing what we had actually ordered, we decided that chicken skewer looked pretty good and decided to put in an order. We were right. Did I mention that there was a live band? And they were actually good? lol This is the place to come if you want to have a grown-up girls' night out!

I've been here several times before. The last time I came, it was for a private event. We got the whole place to ourselves and there was like almost 100+ people at the event. There was like 3 waitresses, a manager, and a cook. It got packed quickly and everyone was ordering drinks and food. So it took quite awhile for some people to get their orders. I ordered the Perfect Pear martini and the beef & portabella flatbread. The drink and food was okay, but expensive. They validate parking, but any store at the Bravern will validate parking too. I've been here before on the weekend and there's a cover charge to get in. I do want to come on Tuesdays and check out the salsa night sometime.

Parking is easy. Just take the ticket with you and get it validated before you leave. Great music every time I went. Pretty loud and I am okay with loud music once in a while so I enjoyed it. Don't go here if you want to have conversations. Go here only if you want to dance the night away! You will not find anyone below 25 or from school here. Most of them are from the working crowd. I would suggest go in a group, since it's usually VERY crowded.

I would definitely recommend this place for a drinks , they have large variety of different Martinis, etc. I tried "skinny bitch" , loved the flavor and blueberry fresh taste . Another one was "fly me to the moon" , didn't like it at all , not my taste . Lovely atmosphere , nice music and huge bar , lounge looking like in general . Will be back for another drink !

This is an upscale kind of club in Bravern in Bellevue. It gets a mixed, diverse crowd. Mostly 30+ professionals. The parking is easy, plenty in the garage below and they validate. This place is best if you don't want to have conversation and want to dance. The music is obscenely loud, cocktails are bitter and over-sweet and over-priced, food below mediocre and service average to bad depending on your server. The DJs are ok, the bands can be ok or just screaming out tunes. Here's what to do at BM: 1. As you walk in remind yourself that you're not in your 20s any more and don't want to be hanging out at Trinity or Foundation with the kids. You have a nice car and you need to park it. You've grown up and moved to Eastside. 2. Be in a good mood ready to dance, listen to obnoxiously loud music and check out other people, and have your ear drums hurt when you walk out 3. Don't care if DJ doesn't play your tunes, or just jump to whichever band is screaming out a song 4. Stay away from overpriced sickly sweet or bitter cocktails, order stuff straight up on ice (or wine/beer) 5. Tip the server in advance and tell them there's more if they keep your ice water full and drinks coming 6. Eat dinner before coming and order only the bare minimum to keep you from getting drunk 7. Bring a fun dance partner who doesn't want to talk 8. Go out and have fun on the dance floor even if it's sparsely populated. Dance like no one's watching 'cause no one is, they're looking at their phones or making out. It's a large place, so lots of networking and single events happen here - Meetups, singles nights, bachelorette parties. There is lots of seating and many people never dance, dance floor size is very small, it's more like a clearing between tables. Very few people actually dance anyway, so even if you've not danced in some time it's going to be ok. It's not so bad if you come with the right mindset. TIP - Ladies, come on Friday night before 9 PM for free raffle tickets for a prize, $1 well drink coupon, and entry for ladies is free all night, and all cocktails are half price for ladies all night. $10 cover charge for gentlemen after 9 PM.

Blue Martini has a tough time with our laid back Seattle crowd. But it's still a fun place for live music, or late night cocktail. This upscale lounge located in the Bravern is appealing in theory. Drinks can be pricey and the food leaves a lot to be desired. There are frequent networking events here and it's easy to park and network and then head out to other fun spots in Bellevue. The live music or themed events for holidays are the best nights here.

The head of security and Mathew, one of the usual door men, are gentlemen of high reguard. I'm not a big fan of the people that populate the bar on the weekend, but their staff is professional and awesome.

I didn't except much on a Tue night, but boy was I surprised. It was Latin night and they had a free salsa lesson and the music was really good. I didn't care for the food or drinks soo much as I felt that it was pretty diluted but the crowd and the dancing made up for that. The place was full by 10.30pm. If your looking for good music and dancing, this is surely one place to visit.

After reading so many negative reviews I was very skeptical but after getting there I was pleasantly surprised. The music is a little loud, but the mix was great and the dj has lots of energy... You can tell he enjoys his job. We only got appetizers but they were delish. The drinks were on the spendy side but we are in Bellevue so that's expected. It's a cool little place if you are only kinda into the club scene and willing to spend the money.

I've been here once or twice before, but this weekend I happened to find myself there on Friday and Saturday night because DJ Risk One was the DJ for their Halloween festivities and he's amazing. So glad there was good music, because that's the only positive feedback I can give about my experience. The staff isn't attentive at all, the drinks are overpriced and the pour is awful. The service is super slow. I highly doubt I'll go back anytime soon!

    (1)
  • Kim R.

I'm not sure why people love this place? The drinks are pricey and the pour is awful. I mean, for the amount that I'm paying for the easiest drink ever, vodka water, I feel like I should at least get more than a splash of vodka?! Also, does the DJ have the exact same playlist every night? "Drunk in love" comes on every 20 minutes. 2 stars because some nights it's entertaining to people watch all the drunkly bachelorette parties strolling in.... And the lady in the bathroom... Handing out paper towels and hellos, she's awesome.

Oh, the agony. I gave this place so many chances since it first opened and now I simply refuse to grace it with my hard-earned dollars. It used to be a nice place to go with a nice happy hour, good service and decent cocktails. But that has changed. The service became so inconsistent, the pricing was never the same despite consistently going during happy hour and the drinks became so "watered down" I could toss back 4 in an hour and not feel a thing (just to prove a point). The only redeeming quality, if you can call it that, is the women that it attracts and the mandated uniforms for the servers and bartenders. Otherwise, this place is nothing more than a trap to get men to come in and blow $16 on a weak martini while management hopes you blow another $16 on another one for a lady.

It is closed today. There is absolutely no sign or notice of explanation. There was no notice on the website, which I have checked just few hours before coming. Very disappointed.

ISO a place to have drinks after a charity event, we failed at one place (closed) and were sent here. It was an off-night so there was no problem finding a spot near the lifts. They have their own garage and evidently validate. Wow. If there was ever a place that was NOT my scene. Music was obscenely loud with bass speakers on steroids. It was hard to have any semblance of a conversation with my companions. Literally it was a lot of gesturing, talking directly into other people's ears, or showing each other things on smart phones. Doesn't that sound AMAZING?! The dance floor was packed with a plethora of people grinding (badly) to rap music mash-ups. After the people-watching, I learned all about their VIP experience via their monitors constantly proselytizing how superior and awesome it was. It didn't take long for me to realise that I didn't miss out on those debauched spring breaks at university, I was in the midst of one right there. I ordered one drink with a glass of water. It took several attempts to get a refill for my water and when our group was ready to cash out, our server spent an inordinate amount of time cashing out other tables. I finally went to the bar and paid for my drink. While I was standing there, she apologised profusely and kept touching my arm and back. And the more she touched my arm and shoulder, the less I wanted to tip her because I felt like it was the routine. Ultimately after leaving, I felt like I'd witnessed something straight out of plastic SoCal or Scottsdale anthropology. I'd never go back, even with a full comp experience. It's just really, REALLY not my scene. PS. I just tried to complete the survey below. I wish there was an option for "tacky" under ambience but regrettably, there isn't.

What can I say about blue martini? First off, let me clarify that this place gets a lot of marketing from me because I advertise about them to all of my friends including me and women! I even bring my friends here to check out the waitresses/bartender. I agree with another reviewer on here, this is where you go to see boobs in bellevue! Well my gf and I did just that on Monday night and boy was the place dead! Bunch of old men oogling one waitress (just one the whole two hours I was there!) and a couple of groups of biz people. The drinks and food were at HH pricing. We got two drinks and two food items for a total of 36, that is decent for blue martini pricing. I definitely didn't care for their skinny bitch drink, all I tasted was alcohol and no other taste, we asked for more juice to water it down and the waitress did just that so she was very nice and accommodating (except for the fact it took her 30 mins to start serving us). Their beef sirloin was good and cook almost to how we ordered it, medium rare and the flat bread had plenty to go around. So overall, come here for boobs and expect to pay hefty if you are not going during hh. Also service is slow but they are nice so just don't expect too much. But don't go during Monday bc apparently there is only one pair of boobs to look at!

Umm your listed as open. But not accurate drove all the way from silverdale only to discover that you were not open. Highly disappointed. I also checked the website and called said open 7 days a week 4pm to 2am. This is not right.

I came with a girlfriend on a Friday night for drinks and appetizers- it was just ok. A little bit of an older crowd then we expected (late 40's early 5o's) Kind of a cheesy crowd. We had dirty Martini's, they were good. Pretty hard to mess up. We also had a caprese salad and the fruit and cheese plate, both were really good. If the crowd was better I could see this place being fun.

  • Anna Banana H.

Worst service we have ever had. The waitresses just gossiped and talked and didn't serve us. The staff was extremely rude and the drinks were way to sweet with no fresh ingredients. If you want a fun time with good drinks stay away from this place, its loud, terrible service and average music.

Have been a handful of times. Great for dancing, happy hour and such. Not eaten here. Not a big drinker, but house wine is fine, as is the PINK PASSION. Rating is ONLY for the venue and variety of events: clean , upscale and pretty. Good variety of events- something each night on the eastside. Cool and convenient. Pro: Whitney at door- he is firm and friendly. Don't be fooled by his name. Many nights no cover. cons: SERVICE- horrible! Renee and female servers- if you are female they don't give a sh*t about serving you- obviously don't care about their tip. You order a drink and they actually look around like: "could someone else take this order?!" WTF? They don't come back after first drink and do not do a good job waiting on table- when the place is empty or packed. :(

There is no better place on a Wed night than Blue Martini! It's ladies night and the place is packed (at least during the hours of 7-10pm when I've been there). Ladies, your first drink is $1 and after that 1/2 price drinks, and we're talking about the speciality drinks, the good stuff! What's in it for the guys? Lots of ladies, hot wait staff, a packed bar, live band, and more. Parking is validated for up to 6 hours at the Bravern. The wait staff is hit or miss, some super nice, some stuck up and rarely come by. The bands have all been super fun and get the crown dancing. Small dance floor, but that's ok. Do watch out for the bathroom attendants, my friends and I have found them to be super pushy and creapy. They are in both the women's and men's bathrooms. Now let me tell you about the cocktails because I have a lot of favorites! PB&J martini - love the chambord Fly Me To The Moon - watermelon pucker, blue vodka, so yummy Pink Passion - love the sugar rimmed glass Skinny Bitch - so delish & under 250 calories Three Chocolates - triple the trouble, need I say more And my ultimate favorite is the Skinny Melons with Bacardi melon, red bull, and blueberry/ pomegranate juice. What a kick in the pants. Now that I've got your mouth watering, head on over to Blue Martini, my favorite Wed night hotspot!

Celebrated my birthday a few days ago and my drinking spot for the occasion was Blue Martini. My team at work was holding an after hours goodbye event here for someone leaving the team and I decided to join in. My birthday celebration being secondary of course. I was not trying to steal anyone's thunder here. Blue Martini is located at the upscale Bravern complex. It is on the 3rd level above Vovito and Wild Ginger if you know where those eateries are. This is part of a Florida chain of bars which explains the tropical ambiance. It did also seem to have a Californian/Tommy Bahama-esque feel to it. The vibe here is interesting. The female staff here wear rather skimpy work outfits that are not unlike what someone working at Hooters would wear. Whereas the clientele here seems to skew older (at least when I was visiting) it seems than other downtown Bellevue spots. I believe that has to do with the location being at the Bravern more than anything. Though I would think it would draw a younger customer base if it moved to Bellevue Square. It seems to have a somewhat similar vibe to the recently closed Munchbar. I arrived late to the event as I had a few things to wrap up in the office. Once I got there, I saw that those in attendance were already partaking in discounted happy hour food and drinks. There is a happy hour here that is offered daily from 4-7 pm. I had a piece of one of the flatbreads which was alright, before perusing the drink menu. The martinis here are half off during happy hour. I decided to give the Blue Martini ($7 HH) a try. It is a signature drink, so it has to be good. The Blue Martini is an interesting drink which contains Van Gogh Blue Vodka, Cointreau and Blue Curacao as a few of the ingredients. It is topped with an orchid and a lighted glow stick in the shape of the Gateway Arch. The drink was sweet and it has a delayed kick to it. You won't feel the effects of it initially, but before you know it you will become quite tipsy. I have got mixed feelings about this place. I liked the drink I had for the most part, but the pricing here is a bit high. The dynamic of dining as part of a group as opposed to alone is different. But I still found the service to be a disappointment. It was like a Rihanna song. Where have you been? Cause I never see you out. Are you hiding from me? The waitress working our tables would kind of pop in and then disappear. Not sure if I would be back. I like the martini and would maybe consider coming here when happy hour pricing is in effect. Though the vibe of this place is a bit of a turnoff. It comes off as a bit douchey. There I said it.

If I can paraphrase a great comedian: This place is like Ray Liota, it used to be awesome, now it's just a big greasy mess. Food sucks almost as bad as the patrons. I wouldn't go back for a free martini night. Though I'm sure we won't have to live with it much longer, it will likely be closing shop shortly, like the rest of the shops in the Bravern. If you're in this part of town, go to John Howie's (I hope they stick around!)

Bellevue needed a swanky lounge and Blue Martini just about fits the bill. Their specialty is martinis and they are pretty strong. They are served by busty waitresses in too small corsets. My favorite martini is the Sex in the City and my least favorite is their signature drink, The Blue Martini. The glow stick in the signature drink may just be the best thing about it. The price tag per drink is just something you will have to accept if you want to spend time at this bar. My favorite dishes are the Seared Tuna, Lobster Salad and the Margherita Flatbread. Blue Martini features Happy Hour until 7 PM every night and has ladies night on Wednesdays with high end drawing prizes. The happy hour drinks are half price and the food prices are very reasonable. If you are lucky enough to have a Blue Lady VIP card, you can skip the line and cover and receive your first drink each night for $1. Music begins at 7:00 and you cannot escape it anywhere in the bar, which makes it impossible to chat with anyone once it starts. Since I host a Happy Hour in Downtown Bellevue each week, I have been here several times with large groups. I have attempted to email, call and Facebook message Laura, the only contact to make reservations and I never hear back from her. Luckily the bar is never full during Happy Hour, so we have never had a problem finding a table big enough for 15+ people. If I had a larger group, I would move the party elsewhere since I cannot seem to get a reservation, regardless of how many times I follow up. Blue Martini is standing room only on some Friday and Saturday nights. Expect loud music and dancing. Sunday is pretty quiet with jazz music and a more relaxed crowd. The bar began doing "With the Band" Karaoke on Monday, which is fun to watch. I have heard that there is a dress code, but it must be pretty casual as i come in wearing jeans quite often. I will say I have not seen any baseball caps or ripped jean shorts, which I do appreciate. I would recommend Blue Martini for Happy Hour with friends or for a fun night of dancing and drinking. Police activity has spiked in the area since Blue Martini has opened up, make sure you are walking or take a cab if you plan on drinking.

The drinks are stronger than you think they are. Between two girls, 5 drinks and a spinach and artichoke dip... total was $140. We went on a Tuesday night. They had a band and an area for all salsa dancer goers. It was fun to watch them. But was hard to talk because the music was so loud. I felt like I was screaming just to talk to the person next to me. I'd come here again probably for happy hour for their drinks. The regular menu wasn't that great. The spinach and artichoke dip that came with this pita bread/chip this was not good. I had two bites and was done. It was way over priced and dried up really quickly. Thank goodness for their drinks.

This is very much a chain restaurant and an expensive one at that! In comparison to other Blue Martini's, this place is a bit stiff in attitude (well, it is the Bravern) and high on the prices for what you get in return. Everyone has money; give us value for what we pay for. I was charged $14 for a Jameson and $2.50 for the rocks. I don't find that a normal thing so I suggest you tell your patrons before making the drink that the ice will cost then $2.50. Believe me, I drop $300 easy on my bar tabs but just based on principle, if you have a line item called $2.50 for "on the rocks", you're just nickel-and-diming your clients. I have to agree on the atmosphere of the place on many of the below reviews because it is a bit sleazy as well as douchy on the atmospheric customer base. I have gone when they were really busy, happy hours, and some salsa nights (which they keep moving dates on). When they are busy, it gets real fun but, it's not the bar that is doing it. . it is the people that bring it. Keep your eye on your bill and wallet on these days! Happy hour is cheaper and a good after work co-worker hangout time. When the place is dead, it is really dead and they should think about dynamically pricing their drinks or creating specials on the fly for slow days so people can stick around. Conclusion: Over Priced Service is not so great (easier to go to bar if you're not one of those good looking douchy people that get more service) Great place for happy hour with your co-workers; after office party, etc Unpredictable environment overall (hit and miss for a good time out of HH and other than bringing your own crowd)

Music: 4 Setting: 5 People: 3 Drinks/Prices: 2 There will be b... What 'b' word are we looking for here? It is not 'bites', as in food. While this place does serve food, it is over-priced (IMO) and not very good. I do not recommend it. HH at any of the other place close-by, e.g. John Howie or Wild Ginger or El Gaucho, is significantly better. It is not 'booze' as in drinks. Even though this place has Martini in its name and a drink menu stocked with fancy sounding martinis, the drinks are mediocre. They are small (though they serve it in a tall big glass, they do not fill it), mundane (doesn't taste very exotic; I can make better at home), and way way over-priced. The 'b' word you're looking for is boobs, as in the waitresses. This place's modus operandi is hiring hot waitresses and dressing them in flaunting attire. Yes, the use of verb as adjective is appropriate here as the action best describes the subjects and the intent. Needless to say, this is a formula that works, especially in the affluent Bravern location. As for the rest, the place has a legit stage... bizarre. There's live band during the weekends (followed by your typical clubby music). The setting is nice. Discrete sections with seats and a sufficiently large floor. The people tend to be older though... IMO it's a 'b' place

  • Joshua A.

Cool atmosphere, a little on the small side. They need to rearrange the seating and this place would be great. A lot of gorgeous women from 30-45. Always more women than men and most of the men that are there just stand around alongside the wall with their arms folded. :( I live in Seattle and this place is always fun to break up the routine of cap hill, belltown, Ballard. I'll be back for sure. Watch out for the married one though!

With all the high end stores at the Bravern, Blue Martini is like a stick in the mud. Though they try to keep it classy, the crowd here tend to be VERY old, creepy, and sometimes trashy. This is my second time here, and I always see these tall pimp daddys dressed in fur (or faux fur) with a ridiculous pimp hat, and shades. Who wears shades at night indoors? Who?!? I don't mean to be harsh, but there's never anywhere to sit, there's always broken glass on the dance floor, and they charge a ridiculous cover at the door when the entertainment sucks & there isn't any space to dance and let loose. The drinks are good, but are way overpriced. On occasion, the live bands can be great, crooning old 70 & 80s hits. I hope they work on crowd control, and take care of the drunken folks who are out of control & elbowing you in the eye. The space is quite cheesy with fake palms trees & bright neon lights. Very Miami Vice.

Ahhhh... SO SO.... Drinks are still expensive during happy hour! Food not my kind of flavor but I was hungry! Place is ok. It wasn't really busy. Our server was kind! They had live music. Looks good for a Friday night. Other than that cool place!

  • Moon C.

this was my fourth time visiting Blue Martini. the service was absolutely horrible. the bartender was snooty... the server had no personality.. it was Thursday night they were not busy at all still couldn't get any service. we had to wait for our check for 15 minutes... finally went to the bathroom and came back she still didn't bring our check. I could have totally walked out on my bill.... but I went up to her and paid for it. I don't think I'll be going back.

  • Ian G.

I dig what they were going for, but the place just isnt anything like its counter part in Florida. I get what they are trying to do with the live music. But its super loud, dont even bother trying to converse there. The place is over-priced, I get they are in Bellevue, but they arent John howie steak house so they should chill on the prices. Overall, Blue is more of a last resort not a regular spot.

  • Emily W.

I went last night to hear my fave band...loved the food (I ordered your basic chicken pot pie), and loved that I could sit right in front of the band....but while the bartenders were friendly enough, they were completely oblivious to service. ..I had to ask multiple times to have my drink refilled. ..I'm right in front of you...I shouldn't have to ask! It made what could have been a four star review, only a three. PS. ..it would be nice if the female patrons had something nice to look at. ..I'm really not into other women's breasts.

Satisfying neighborhood experience located in the Bravern building. Cover music is the centerpiece of the night, for People Of A Certain Age, which falls under my group. Wine list won't kill a budget. Start with a few Happy Hour cocktails until 7pm, first. No complaints about food, especially some of the seafood plates. I liked them. I haven't stayed so late that I get to witness reported craziness at the 2AM let-out, but hear it's entertaining at best, loud and obnoxious at worst. In other words, the same we find everywhere that serves alcohol. The drinks are free pours, if that makes some of you, hmmm, cheaper people, feel any better about the price of a good cocktail in a city. Just saying.

It is painful giving this place 1 start, as I am an upstairs neighbor, and one star might be a little generous. 1. The music on Fridays and Saturdays is not bad, as they have a DJ playing. 2. The drinks are the worst! - More than a handful of times, I had to just put my drink down after one sip, because it was so gross. 3. The service, I don't know who these people are, but they need to be reminded that they work in customer service, and they are there to serve, and if that is not an idea they like, they should find another job. 4. This is a bar that is desperately trying to be a club. 5. We don't mind some lively noise..but when you have people screaming, shouting and fighting outside of your home, you would be frusterated too. If someone thinks this place is actually "cool," I feel sorry for you, and you need to get more ...A LOT MORE! We have such a wonderful community but most of us living here DO NOT go to Blue Martini, hopefully this place will shut down and will be replaced with a bar that has great food + drinks. Perhaps a better place for Blue Martini is...south...Renton? Tacoma?

Came here once and will never come here again. The service first of all is at the absolute worst. The servers act like it is you who should be grateful that they should be serving you and half the time are socializing with what seems like their friends. Drinks are awfully mixed and the food tastes like it has been microwaved. Absolutely not worth it for the price.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and worked, including the dance floor. The band was excellent. Patrons seemed to be having a good time and my group enjoyed themselves. The music was excellent, the drinks were excellent. The staff were responsive and quick to meet needs with a smile. Overall I was very happy to visit and would gladly go back. It was Girls Night so there was no cover. I would add that the security seemed thorough, and as I stood outside waiting for my ride to come up to the circle area (escalator) I was pleased.

Place is so so and the drinks are tooo much! What I mean is cery pricy its not worth to pay for the price. The server spelled drink on me and didn't even clean it up. She just said "sorry" and walked away!

I'm honestly surprised. I dislike nightclubs and I dislike nightclubs in Bellevue particularly. I went in on ladies' night, and it wasn't too bad. The live band was fun; they seemed really into and I normally dislike covers, but these guys had me up out of my seat sometimes. One of the promoters (?), Toby? Tobin?, was especially friendly that night-- in a non-creepy way, which is rare! Patrons seemed to be having fun and just there to have fun. A guy celebrating his birthday bought my girlfriend and me drinks. I say this cos I typically don't expect or accept drinks from guys in bars cos... well, you know. But this was honestly a really chill night for Bellevue. Maybe cos it was Wednesday. Drinks are pretty pricey, even half off, but you get that first one for basically nothing, so if you have 3 drinks, you've only spent $15, which really isn't too bad. The price of the food, however, is absolutely absurd and it isn't very good. Eat elsewhere before coming here. The corseted waitresses/bartenders trend heavily on the busty Playboy type for a ladies' night which was weird... Similarly objectified male waitstaff seems more appropriate. The dancing area is small and made me wonder if this was a bar or a club. Lots of seating: bar. Crazy loud music: club. Hmm. A-OK. I would not curl my lip toooooo much if my friend dragged me here again.

A good spot for cheap girly drinks and picking out your ideal boob job. Otherwise the music is too loud preventing any conversation... On one evening last week it was both loud not something dance-worthy, so a double fail. To top it off the management is inhospitable. There are better bars out there. This place is tacky.

I was actually quite surprised by this place. Initially I thought that it would be over priced but lacking in quality but the food was actually pretty good. During happy hour, the entire place is open for seating. Service overall was pretty good and friendly. I tried not to look at the small corsets on all the waitresses. Not sure who thought of that as a uniform requirement. I liked the fact that it's another happy hour that lasts until 7pm so we didn't have to make a mad dash for it after work. The drinks were so-so because the combination just left a weird taste in the mouth but the ambience was pretty chill. My friend and I came in during a Friday evening and it looks like they also do some sort of live entertainment. Definitely an interesting find in Bellevue.

I through by birthday party there over the summer and although we had a good time, the catering and service lacked. food was not up to par like we had sampled. They ran out of the steak we had ordered for my party and although replaced it with something else, it was brought out at a time that was late and no one was really eating at that point. Post party, I was hoping to get a better response from the event coordinator, who wasn't even there the day of the party... she had no apologies or anything to give me the desire to want to go back. Crowd lacked youth...

Visited here only because friend was dj'n at an event. Staff is very arrogant and inattentive. The cocktail waitresses are very fake and do not know how to provide upscale Bellevue service. I do not expect this service from Belltown but I sure as hell expect this from Bellevue Blue Martini. I am Understanding, that I have to wait by the bar especially if it's a busy night but the bartenders get very annoyed if you ask for a little extra service! Watch out for the drinks on tables and around the ledges where handle railings are, don't put your drinks there because if music gets to loud and it vibrates...those glasses shatter on the floor! One shattered, and peace of glass got my best friends foot cut open! It was a nightmare experience and in the end all we got was a gift card. Eventually, when we came back, the staff and MOD were very nonchalant to us and wanted us to eat our food under an hour! So much for not calling an ambulance so the bar/lounge manager doesn't get written up!! Sigh!

Before everyone gets all bent out of shape thinking I'm giving this a two star review because I'm some sort of bananas feminist or subconsciously jealz, I'd like to state for the record I think the breastaurant concept is genius. The girls get great tips (hopefully) and the patrons get to look at really nice... food. Everyone wins. That being said, just about everything else about Blue Martini can die in a pit of snakes. For example: 1. What in the hell is that smell? How much longer do I need to air out my coat until it is gone? (So far, the answer is over two weeks). 2. Why did I get the entire $200 tab when my friend and I clearly stated we were going to split the bill? After further investigation, it appears it was split, but then $100 dollars was added to my bill anyway, because MATH. Why? Goodbye, money, we had a nice run. 3. How many windowless vans did valet have to park that night? Creeptown. "Blue Hooters" would get a higher review if it didn't smell like burning doll hair and they were better at math - looks like a theme, here. Otherwise, the ladies are always very nice, the space is good for groups, on Ladies Night your first drink is $1 and there is happy hour every day. The food is what you would expect from a place like this, so if you are into artichoke dip and wings, GO CRAZY it's just not culinary wizardry. TL;DR - go for the fun atmosphere with a group, but make peace with blowing tons of cash and smelling like you just escaped a Barbie mansion fire.

It's just okay, all the way around. While they do have many different martini selections, most are just one sweet ingredient after another. I was quite pleased with the flatbread pizza I purchased, but the menu as a whole isn't that impressive. Given its location I was hoping I might find a few must try items, but it wasn't meant to be. I've noticed that several reviewers have commented on the attire the waitresses wear, but I'm not going to say much on that matter. They're dressed EXACTLY the way their target customer would want them to be attired. Is Blue Martini a unique spot in Bellevue? Not by any stretch of the imagination; however, it's found it's niche.

I have only been here for ladies' night, but each time I have been it was lots of fun. What I like: GREAT cocktails, and good happy hour prices. Cocktails are a good size, larger glasses, and they bring the shaker to your table. Ladies night drinks: first drink is $1 - AMAZING! Decent snack selection - and again, good happy hour prices. Cover bands - the ones that I've seen here have been pretty awesome. No screaming 21 year-olds out in da' club - crowd is mostly 30+ professionals. Atmosphere and decor - overall, very chic. What I don't like so much: Non-happy hour prices are too high. Harder to get a table when events are going on, so come early. Location - located in the Bravern, so it is a bit out-of-the way, and parking here is weird. Overall: I would definitely recommend. Check it out on one of their event nights (they have lots) or during happy hour (especially Wednesdays for ladies).

Modeled in a show here and kind of like the place. You can't beat the Bravern for validated parking (especially compared to almost every club in Seattle that requires paid parking of some sort). The drinks are definitely high priced (hey it's Bellevue) and the appetizers are fairly small. It can also get pretty loud depending on what's happening on stage. But there's some room for dancing and overall it's a pretty nice club.

I'm surprised that Blue Martini has such poor reviews. Maybe it's a little pricey, but it's in Bellevue at The Bravern, what do you expect? The 3-4 times I've seen live music here I've been really impressed. I've been for a bachelorette party (with bottle service), a live show (Mycle Wastman!!), happy hour, and just a night out with friends. All have been a positive experiences. I admit that seating can be a challenge, but then again I've never tried to make reservations. The smores martini was DELICIOUS, but I could only have one because it's definitely dessert. I like the cucumber martini but I get it with grey goose instead of gin! I haven't tried much of the food, but my friends had some at happy hour and all liked their dishes. The few bites that I tried were acceptable...I just don't really come here to eat. I come to DAAAANCE! just kidding. sort of. Mixed crowd, probably on the older side, not really a fan of house music which is what they play after the live music ends.

We were there last week with a group of friends and had drinks and appetizers. Unfortunately my husband trusted them and signed the check but when we came home, I realized that they added extra numbers of shots and drinks to our bill. I called them several times to get this issue fixed but they don't seem to care a bit, they took my number each time and never called me back! Finally, I got a hold of the manager today and she simply told me: "you have no way to prove that you didn't have those drinks!!! You were probably too drunk!!!" ....How insulting....and that was after she admitted there were so many mixed ups with credit cards that night due to different parties...WTH???? Apparently this is a common mistake and they don't care enough to fix it!!! Bottom line is, when you go out, chances are, you don't look at your bill carefully and they know how to take advantage of this situation and rip you off and make some extra cash. I just think this is wrong and and they shouldn't be in this business. I will NEVER go back to a place like this.

After reading Yelp reviews, I arrived at Blue Martini with low expectations, but I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. I can't vouch for any other part of the bar, but I do have to say that our bartender Sara was incredible. I was with a big group of girls for a birthday party on ladies night and she took care of us at the bar all night. Not only was she a fantastic bartender, she was geniunely nice. The drinks she made were amazing and she was great at her job, but it was so refreshing to encounter someone real in an industry and area where "what's on the inside" doesn't seem to be anyone's top priority. I'm nervous to go back, since reviews of other bartenders have been less than stellar, and it seemed like they were trying really hard to be upscale but have a little work to do, but with the great deals for ladies night and happy hour, I'll defnitely give it one more shot.

Great happy hour prices until 8pm. It was very difficult to get good service, so I ended up only having one drink and an appetizer. Facilities were clean and the layout is nice. As far as food goes, their spinach & artichoke dip was good, but the flat bread was too overly crispy. Their signature "Blue Martini" is what ultimately won me over. I would definitely come back to give it another chance because of the happy hour and 6 hour free parking downstairs. Hopefully the service is better next time.

Came in Saturday night with my two girlfriends. Wasn't even 10pm and they charged us a $10 cover each. So we were already down $30 bucks before we even walked into the place. When we did get inside it looked like a boring sports bar trying to dress the place up with club lighting. Walked around trying to find a table for ages. 50% of the tables were reserved and the others were occupied. $30 bucks to get in and you can't even sit down?? When we found a table which still had water glasses but was obviously available (the check was signed and no one in site), we asked the server if we could sit down. She quickly gave me some story that someone was previously sitting there drinking water and they would probably return... Or she just didn't want to clean the table off... Anyways! 30 seconds later a couple sits down (who walked in after us) and she happily cleaned the table off for them... ya thanks for that, guess the water drinking individual wasn't returning after all...? When we finally did find a place to sit down, we patiently waited for our server to arrive... no one ever came... The "bustier" girls definitely saw us but continued to walk by. I then tried to flag someone down, anyone. Nothing... Finally we got up and left. I asked for the $30 dollars in cover charges be refunded. Which they unhappily agreed to. We then went over to the Suite at the Hyatt and had a great time! No cover, WAY BETTER ATMOSPHERE (not trying to be something its not, like the Blue Martini), and the drinks we're even cheaper and delicious! Bottom line. I would NOT recommend the Blue Martini. Its a sports bar trying to make a club atmosphere, which does not work well. The servers are rude and not attentive. If you want to pay for overpriced drinks ($14 bucks each) and be ignored. Then this is the place for you!

It's okay...for Bellevue anyway. Came here for my work going away party so it was HH time so the drinks were half off instead of the normal $14/a drink. I had 2 of their Blue Martini's. Loved the drink and I like how it came in a cute cup with a little glow stick in it. No I did not take that glow stick and pretend I was at a rave but if I had had another one I probably would have. We ordered a few flatbreads, scallops, hummus plate, beef tenderloin, and whatever chicken plate they had. All was good. Service..Blah! It was fine at first when we had gotten there because it was still empty but come the 5pm hour it got busy so our waitress got side tracked and it was hard to get her attention to order more drinks and more food. We had to ask the bus boy a few times to track down our waitress and a few of my coworkers had to order from the bar. They definately need to work on their service otherwise everything else was good. I'd come back but I wouldn't rush going back there anytime soon.

CROWD: Mostly white the times I was there, about 70%...Also, young mixing with the OLD, lol! There's a lot more older people here than the other places I've been to. But everyone seems really nice and friendly. Ladies, it's easy to get your drink on here, there seem to be lots of gentlemen that are willing to buy ladies drinks here. I did not partake in this because the married me would feel too bad. lol. ALCOHOL: pricer but definitely strong drinks (so i believe u get your money's worth), good service, easy to get drinks (you don't have to fight the crowd to get your drink on) If you work with the hospitality industry, go on Mondays for discounted drinks! Half off! It's a good day to try different martinis! Loved the "Sex in the City" & "Pomegranate" Martinis the best. PARKING: Park below the Bravern Garage. Take your ticket with you and get it validated at the host desk to get free parking. DANCE FLOOR: Yes, but small. I'm glad that every time I'm there there seems to always be places where we can sit. I would give Blue Martini a 5 star rating in potential for success, but a 1 star rating for the food and overly priced drinks. I was absolutely appalled by the steak strips, obviously cooked in a microwave or at best, convection oven. Absolutely no flavor or seasoning to cover up all the flaws associated with that piece of meat. My better half and I were fighting about who had to endure eating the last few slices! Lots of strange older men, by themselves, drinking alone.... Waiting for someone? Or maybe trying to pick up someone? Some couples, like my better half and I. Probably trying to get a feel for the place, seeing if it's worth adding to the hot spot stops. Business meetings... must be out of towners... Are the waitresses forced to wear those unflattering lingerie style outfits? They were all very nice and friendly, but I would hope that their work attire wouldn't consist of an unflattering, no matter how in shape, blue corset and black pants. Potential is overflowing for this place. Maybe the food tastes better when people overflow themselves with drinks... I couldn't imagine that being possible. No matter how many martinis.

It pains me to give this place 2 stars because I'm their neighbor from upstairs, so I try to "love thy neighbor" but this is the highest rating I can give them. I'll tell you why below. The place is so cramped! I like eating sardines, not feeling like one. The only dance move you can do is jumping up & down, with your arms either folded neatly by your sides or held straight up in the air. Even so, I was bumped, pushed, punched, etc... and will somehow always end up across the room. Those who can only perform the "lawn mower," or the "sprinkler," you better start toning down your movements. Try the fist pump, but make sure you pump it at a 90 degree angle (read: straight up!) to avoid causing accidental violence. Cover is $10 and starts at 7PM!!! [insert peaceful yoga breathing techniques here] I've held a company event here a while back, and I don't think we'll be back. My company has had MANY HH events this year and I've hosted it all around Bellevue, and this is the worst by far. It was very expensive for such meager portions and the drinks were stiffed. With all that said, I think the men will enjoy this place thanks to some very well endowed/enhanced bartenders. Yeah, I'm sure by now you've forgotten all of the cons I've listed above. For those looking for love (whatever your definition may be), you're in luck if you're into older women, as there are a lot of them in this lounge. The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the location. I get to walk there, so a slight thumb up for that!

Went here last night for the first time. I didn't know they had a live band! And a good one too. Brownie points already for me. When you first walk in, you see a window to the live band. A little more to the upscale joint, dress up guys! Check out their website or call for dress code. What was important for me was that I was able to wear jeans. The atmosphere is pretty chill. Bar/Lounge feel, which kind of reminds me of a comedy club since all the tables are facing the stage. There is also a small dance floor if you feel like dancing. We got there early, but I heard there can be a cover charge, but hey, you can park there for free for 6 hours, Saturday night. Price was decent. We arrived during happy hour and for 2 drinks and an appetizer came out to $20. You do have to understand it is a "Martini" joint, so it will cost a little more. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring your parking ticket and get it validated! Will visit again in the future!

decent vibe, drinks are lite on alcohol and taste watered down. WATCH OUT FOR WHAT THEY CHARGE. We went to this place few weeks ago (me & my wife). we had few drinks and we paid our tab and left. about 2-weeks after, I came across the receipt, I noticed they had charged our tab a 20% gratuity (even though there was only 2 in our party and we only sat at the bar for maybe an hour), which was 20% ($20) and on top of that, I tipped another $20 as my usual tip. I am very upset that they rip people off by doing crap like this. It shows how low class employees working in this place are. I rarely look at my receipt and just do a 20% tip which is above average for a drink at the bar. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING OVER YOUR RECEIPT IN THIS LOCATION. I HAD HEARD FEW COMMENTS BEFORE REGARDING THIS PLACE, BUT NEVER TAKEN THOSE COMMENTS SERIOUSLY. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION.

Great cocktails. I had a Cucumber Melon something. Their flatbread pizza is delicious! I went there for a Meetup event with my fellow ladies! We had the back of the bar blocked off for us and had a blast! It was a weekend, so there was a live performance. The performer was really engaging with the band and the audience. Typically on the weekend, the crowd is a bit older but a nonetheless a great place to unwind. The ambiance was really nice and the waitress/bartenders were really attentive. I would definitely go again.

This is my favorite lounge of ALL TIME. I love it here. I'm a regular. The only time I come is Happy Hour (4pm-7pm), or Wednesday because it's Ladies Night and all drinks are half off. Any other time and you're looking to spend $15/drink. The waitresses wear very sexy work uniforms that consist of a corset and some black pants. Most of them are very kind and chatty. A few of them are bitchy and catty. (Maybe it's because I'm a girl?) I love their food. I recommend the Beef Tenderloin, Margherita Pizza, Shrimp & Crab Dip, and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. As for drinks, they are ALL sooo good you nearly can't go wrong. But the best drink is the Pink Passion. Runners up include: Strawberry Bliss, Cosmo, and the Pomegranate. The band can be hit and miss. I've seen it be good on two occasions and terrible on one occasion. I usually like the DJ, but the last time I was there and I made a request he didn't play it. He sticks mostly to the Top 40 radio hits. I can't give much input besides Wednesdays and Happy Hour. For all I know the weekends are awful? But it's a very upscale trendy place with a predominately middle aged crowd. Good times and beautiful people! I love the drinks and the food! See ya next Wednesday ;-)

Went on a Saturday evening to catch some drinks with the girls and hoped for some dancing, but there was live music till 11 with an older crowd (read: over 40) and a $10 cover charge. Drinks were slightly higher priced than what I'm used to around Bellevue. Staff was friendly, but the music was pretty lousy so we bailed after just 10 minutes and went over to the Suite Lounge in Bellevue Place.

I heard from a friend this place is rocking. Finally went there last night and wasn't impressed at all. I heard on the radio that they have free entrance Fridays and Saturdays. We got snagged at the entrance for $10 per person on a "lounge". Really?!! FALSE ADVERTISING. Then to top that, there's no dress code cuz anyone with $10 can just get in. No class at all. They have tables and chairs on the dance floor or so called dance floor?! This place is tightly packed like a sardine. No room to move cuz you will bump into chairs that shouldn't be in the dance floor. To top that, holy cow. So many old people are in there. It's fine if they're couples but 50-70yr old guys by themselves? Talk about alot of DIRTY OLD MEN in this joint. Very creepy when you see them checking out girls as young as their grand kids. The drinks are double priced/over priced there than any other place you go. Not worth going when you cant afford $14 for a martini. Their happy hour is regular price for other places. Which tells you that they have no clue how to price things. Lucky Strike and Parlor that's just down the road has better lounges and is actually free to get in because it's a LOUNGE. Lounges are suppose to be free to get in. Waitresses don't come around your table until you catch one of the other waitresses to get some service. Horrible service. Waited 20 mins to get a waitress. Saw them flirting with customers and chatting with other waitress neglecting that they're job is to wait tables. Food another 30+ mins for a small portion. This place is ridiculous.

The service tonight at the Blue Martini was pretty disappointing. Our Waitress's name was 'Cat'. She had long black hair, parted in the middle. My friend and I had been planning to meet here for my 'graduation celebration' having completed my Bachelor's degree. Cat came over to the table and asked if we wanted something to drink, no smile, no eye contact while she was talking. I mentioned to Cat we were celebrating. Barely a smile. She took our drink order, then our food order, then 2nd drink order, all of this was ok, just ok, no smile. Our food was cold. Each time she came to the table we were polite and smiled and thanked her. When I had finished my glass of wine, she came to the table and asked if I was done and took my glass away. I'm sure she could notice my friend had a near-full glass of wine. She did not ask if I wanted another drink. That was pretty surprising. A little while later she came by the table and asked if we were doing ok. I had been sitting there for at least a half hour with nothing to drink while my friend was drinking her glass of wine. I asked her for water for both my friend and myself.... She brought the waters, no smile. Anyway, she just could have been way better in her service, since this is a pretty upscale establishment and she knew we were celebrating my college graduation. It was like she wanted us to leave. Never a smile, just very 'blas'e" One word: Disappointing. I doubt we will be back.

So I came here with some friends for a birthday and around 11 the line was not too bad, but as time progressed the line just got longer, and longer, and LONGER! *whew* good thing I got there early. I was told by multiple sources this is a place where a lot of woman come dressed up trying to get picked up which I found HILLARIOUS because I actually witnessed couple myself! There was this lady that was standing next to my friend the whole time we were at the bar hoping my friend would give her the time and day, but nope! My friend didn't even notice! hahaha The bar on the right with the light changing table really started to irritate me, video DJ was pretty cool asside from the fact I heard N 'Sync and MC Hammer come on at one point, restrooms were WAYYY on the other side by the dance floor which I completely walked right past because no one was dancing and the re-entry stamp was a two stroke mark made with a sharpie! hahaha I thought the guy wrote the number "7" on my wrist! As much as I want to like this place I don't think I can.

I've been to Blue Martini a few times, with interesting results: Dress code: this place has one, as one of my friends found out when he joined our group for live band karaoke one Monday night and got a stern talking-to because of his outfit and/or shoes. If you're strictly a casual dress kind of person, this might not be the place for you. Food: every dish I've tried so far has been tasty. I sincerely recommend the lamb chops (amazing!) and the tenderloin. For whatever reason, the charcuterie plate and crab cakes aren't as good as the ones at Blue Martini in Phoenix but as happy hour items in Bellevue they're not bad. Drinks: while a little spendy, many drinks come in a martini shaker so you're essentially getting two pours per order. Considering that, the price doesn't seem so bad and actually are a bargain at happy hour. Service: to be honest, service has been just kinda meh. Nothing outstanding, and once our server actually cleared our martini shakers even though both of us had a full pour left in each. (that got fixed, but ended up being an unnecessary hassle.) Entertainment: Monday night live band karaoke is awesomely fun. Haven't been to any of the other event nights, but this is also a great place to chill during happy hour before the entertainment starts. Overall, I'd go back again (certainly for karaoke and HH) - but my expectations aren't super-super high. :)

Music: no opinion Setting: 3 (low lit, reminds me of munchbar) People: 1 (douche-bags and gold diggers) Drinks/Prices: 2 (many drinks look overly sweet, price is the worst part, if you want good martinis/drinks then go to zig zag in seattle) I do enjoy going to to many places and explore to find places to remember and recommend to my friends. Generally I expect good service and good food etc for most place. But the bar/restaurant must stand out in some way for me to be pushed to write a review or even recommend the place to my friends. This being said, I either write a review for service being extraordinary or service being sub par and unacceptable. Either way, these extremes are usually the ones most remembered. I place on using Yelp more often to write more reviews on my favorite hot spots. The Blue Martini is one of those places on the sub par side of things. My girlfriend and I were meeting friends @7pm and had reservations for our party of 6. Our friends were a little early and were seated before we arrived. The woman who made the reservation with us explained she messed up and only gave us a table for 4. They didn't even care to make it right. We arrived at about 7:10pm to find our friends had been there since 6:45. They apparently messed up our friends drinks and food order and mentioned to us their experience so far. The reservation was messed up and their incompetent staff had no concern for the error or inconvenience we were having. We looked around only to find well over a dozen or so tables with reservation notes on them. Makes us wonder if we are to flash cash at them then maybe they would want to help us out more. Anyhow, What a waste of our time. Our friends were having their drinks and bar food. They ordered some kind of flat bread pizza thing and a very expensive martini of sorts that looked overly sweet. The drink they ordered apparently wasn't even the correct one, it was mistakenly given to them as they didn't take the order down correctly. We were only there for 5 minutes before deciding to leave to grab drinks and dinner elsewhere. As we left the restaurant, we needed parking validation. We did not get any since we didn't sit down to eat. But the parking garage attendant was rude and could care less about our negative experience at blue martini. He insisted he didn't care and had us pay for parking even though it was for less than 10 minutes. We asked him kindly to check the ticket to see how long our car had been parked. We were obviously dressed up to go out and were very upset due to the error in reservations... Anyhow, he still didn't care. I simply gave him a bill larger than that which was due and told him to keep the change. I felt robbed at this point. I then continued to tell him that we will never be back again at the bravern in general due to the poor customer service and negative experience. Sadly, I was occasionally found at Howes steak house for dinner and shop often at David Lawrence. Most importantly, tonight has ruined it for me entirely. I am not a fan of this blue martini shiny shirt crowd and high maintenance showy/snooty women in their lingerie work attire. This bar tends to draw a douche-bag like crowd and gold digger type women. If you are into this sort of thing, maybe the blue martini is your place. Be prepared to spend more money than you think and get less than acceptable service and mediocre drinks/food. Good riddance and never again. I expect stellar customer service at the bravern as a whole. This experience was downright unacceptable. No wonder the ratings of this place average very low. My two cents is to find another place in Bellevue to hang out with friends.

This place is a joke. If you're into neon-colored kool-aid drinks with flavored Vodka and like wasting $14 a glass for one, by all means run, don't walk here. The huge flat screens playing sports games behind the music entertainers seemed very odd but essential for those with the attention span of a gnat. If you enjoy people constantly screaming, broken dishes every 5 mins, Jersey shore fist pumping, and glow in the dark sugar drinks what are you waiting for? For others wanting a more sophisticated environment don't even bother. Try Daniel's, El Gaucho, Pearl, or Naga Bar. P.S. Leave the ballcaps at home. Some dude got 86'd by the bouncers for wearing one inside and they nearly sent the kid to the ER.

I'm not your Bro! Door guy was a douch and called me "Bro" which is one of my biggest pet peeves. Then he told me they had a dress code and I could not come in. That's like Joey's saying they have a dress code. This isn't Miami and this isn't the Jersey Shore. Don't pretend your a nice restaurant because a nice restaurant isn't going to have door guy who says "Bro"

Me thinks not is right. over priced drinks. WAY too loud of a band to even hear yourself think. did i mention that the drinks are over priced and weak? i dislike this place so much i don't even want to bore you with my awful experiences. This bar should have stayed in Vegas - not in a high end shopping mall. :-/

Went for happy hour while in town for one night (friday) and was pleasantly surprised. Half priced martinis were great, so many to choose from. I strayed from my normal drinks and tried two of their new, signature menu drinks: cake pop and gummi martini. Awesome. Staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Atmosphere was great, the lighting, tv, and cool air flow was very comfortable. We can have a conversation yet hear the music well enough to where we didn't over-hear someone elses conversations. The place was filled but still had seating available. Band came on as we left but the first couple songs were fun and had created a good vibe. Would definitley go again.

I never go to "clubs" but made an exception because it was for a friend's birthday. Waited more than 45 minutes in a line of 20 people because the bouncers told us the club was "at capacity" at 10:30pm. Meanwhile, they were letting other people walk right in from a special line (prob guestlisters, friends & family, or people who paid a couple extra bills). Once we got to the front of the line, bouncer said another 15-20 minutes so I said F THIS and we all went somewhere else.

Reposted - Blue Martini keeps having it taken down! I had such high hopes when I heard about this club opening. All I can say is what a disappointment. Also, if Blue Martini is paying yelp to remove bad reviews, I will repost every week to let people know how truly bad this place is. 1) Overcrowding - I am not sure why the Bellevue fire department allows them to stay open. There were so many people let in that there was no open spaces to walk or move. People had to push their way through which caused drinks to be spilled everywhere, causing people to slip and fall. 2) No service. I ordered a drink, waited an hour, and never received it. 3) No coat check? Come on! This is not Phoenix. It is cold in Bellevue. No tables/chairs, unless you want to pay $200 to sit. I asked the woman at the entrance what I should do with my coat, and she suggested that I "just carry my coat all night". I could not wear it because it was so hot in there! 4) No dance floor. They claim that there is one, but my living room is larger! There is an open space for dancing, but it is very ver small.

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews for this place. This is our go to lounge in Bellevue for Happy Hour and drinks. Three reasons why Blue Martini rocks - The drinks - All martinis are $7 during HH which is a really great deal. Try the Perfect Pear or if you want to get buzzed faster try one of their Dirty Martinis. The drinks here are much stronger than other places like Earl's. Also on Wednesdays ladies get their first martini for only $1. The food - Their chicken skewers and spinach dip are only $5 during HH. They also have really good lamb chops, beef tenderloin and seared tuna all for half off during HH. The decor - Two bars on each side with a stage in the middle. Lighting is perfect. Nothing wrong with the decor as others have complained. Some negatives - The only live music act that I saw here was terrible (it was Wednesday night) They charge $10 cover on Friday and Saturday nights. However the place is usually packed during this time so maybe it's worth it Come during the Happy Hour and you'll definitely have a great time.

Place looks nice. Servers, mostly women, look nice. Happy hour is awesome! Really liked the Eggplant Caprese Salad because of the vinegrette dressing. The tomatoes and mozzarella itself was cut rather thick. Better if they gave you more, but thinner slices.

I have absolutely loved this place ever since the first time I visited the establishment. I enjoy the food, the drinks and the atmosphere. The only thing is that the prices are a bit high, but I usually go for happy hour, so it's much easier on the wallet! The service is good most of the time, but when it's busy, expect longer wait times for drinks and food. As for the crowd, it is predominately older professionals, given the location (at The Bravern, near Microsoft building). So expect to see older women in groups, men in suites and the occasional 21 year old birthday celebration. My favorite night is Wednesday, "Ladies Night" where they give away gifts and have live music. Drinks are 1 dollar for women from 6-9PM, for men, they are full price. I also like "Love Fridays", it seems to be very full that night and the music is awesome! They need to play more house and electronic music in the mix, I think the crowd would appreciate that because many are from Europe, where EDM is huge.

Great atmosphere and is quite electric. Now I have only been once and there was a great cover band playing. Not sure what it is like on nights without music. Even though the bar was jam packed I was able to get drinks with very little wait and never had a line in the restrooms. Service was great and the design of the joint is really cool. Modern with bright colors.

Pete, Natalya, Angela, Andreaa are some of the reasons I like this place...but most of all I like the quality of their drinks and food. I love the new tenderloin in their menu. I miss the previous management group but the new one is definitely stepping up to the plate :)

Good music; best thing about this place. Decor is interesting and the color scheme is vibrant. Drinks are about as hit or miss as the staff, and the price point is more reflective of the ambiance than the drink itself. Still, the energy of the place I think is worth 14 bucks for a drink every now and then. Crowd is a bit on the older '40ish' side, but they also tend to a rowdier kind of 40 - avoid later in the night on weekends unless you like the sound of ambulances and/or have run out of blow.

Great special on Wednesdays for ladies night. Also a great happy hour, the drinks are super strong and delicious! Good service for the most part, especially for a busy place like this. Love the interior, and music they play.

I used to work across the street and used to go there a lot during the week after work. However I recently stopped by on a Saturday night and was denied entrance due to their dress code. I have never encountered this on the West Coast and they have totally came off as pretentious wanna be.

Bellevue needs a place like this. I went with a pack of friends for a birthday and we had a really good time. Showed up at around 7pm and walked right in. Managed to find a table to sit at (you would have to show up at 7 to get one) and the band was really, really good. The $10.00 cover was really reasonable. The drinks were slow to come out and expensive, but pretty tasty. The people were all really nice and it was nice to see a mix of old/young people. Loved the bathroom attendant and the dance floor. Can't wait to check out ladies night!

I have read these reviews about BM and it makes me smile. I have been to 4 BM locations in Florida and this one while having the BM trade mark is a little different. Most of the staff are pretentious and they seems to give you the level of service based on how deep they think your pocket is. In saying that I have never had a issue with service but I have seen other people totally complain about the poor service and I have had friends complain as well. For me I stick to the bartender she works mostly Friday and Saturday nights at the bar right where the DJ/Band plays she is awesome and she is always smiling. The music is good for the most part and the crowd depending on the night that you go can be a younger or a more mature crowd. I have never had the food at this BM in Bellevue so I cant really comment on that but if you are looking for a good night out with your friends or that special someone give BM a try and then form your own opinion.

Everything about this place is wrong. It's literally like the Cheesecake Factory decided to open a nightclub. The decor is cheap and tacky. The food is horrible. The service is slow. And the prices are a joke. $7.50 for a bottle of Heineken. $7.50. Are we at the airport? And the drinks are both horribly overpriced ($14-16 which is insane) and poorly made. My friend had to send hers back it was so bad. Don't go to this place, save your money and your dignity and go somewhere else. Hell, I was tempted to steal a menu and give it to the bartenders at Rob Roy or Canon as a joke. This place is tacky, overpriced, has bad food and bad service, and like the Bravern itself, it's just completely unnecessary. It's absolutely classless, clueless, and just plain awful. In other words: it's perfect for Bellevue.

So this is a review of 2s.... First, lets start by saying I don't write reviews. Second, lets setup some credibility..., I'm the sweet spot for what the Blue Martini would want as a guest.....First, I'm in Tech. Second, I work in hospitality (Condé Nast, reader's choice award for 2012). Together, I know the capabilities of what luxury service can be in Seattle. As I hear my wife crying from our bathroom, I can say with total honesty and conviction --- the Blue Martini satisfies none of these things. Moreover, we (my wife & I) do not feel safe at the Blue Martini. First -- and most importantly we do not feel safe at the Blue Martini. My wife had only 2 drinks and she was literally delirious. It is my belief that someone put something in her drink. You could argue that this is not the responsibility of the Blue martini but I would disagree. They have way too many guests for their space and it leads to an out of control environment --Either way, thank God I was with my wife! I have never in my 7 years together seen her so disoriented. She had only 2 martinis!! Hell, one was an espresso martini ( its more sugar than alcohol). Something happened... my wife was really scared and very disoriented. She just couldn't understand how two drinks could make her this confused. Second, not as important but still makes me REALLY frustrated -- the service. Lets drill into this -- First, I know what impeccable service looks like --The Blue Martini clearly did not offer top shelf service. Eight tops managed by no one ?!?! Really!?!? Ya, i know you think some one was there but I'm sorry there was no one. I ended up going to the bar, then to the kitchen entrance before I could close my ticket. -- Even at the kitchen entrance it took me sticking out my hand to a manager to grab his attention. Dominic, looked scared at the fact I offered my handshake and that I was asking for some help. Sadly, he was not alone. Most managers there (anyone with an earpiece) that passed by, did not even offer eye contact as I stood at the Kitchen's entrance. Finally, when I did talk to the server of our table she explained that it was MY FAULT for not asking for the check. Apparently, she was talking to someone else in our group?!?! That someone didn't get any help either. Anyway, A DEFENSIVE POSTURE DOES NOTHING WHEN TALKING TO A GUEST. ... oh, and I'll never go back or recommend the Blue Martini in Bellevue.

This is as good a restroom as you will find in all of Northwestern America. Granite walls with a ledge for your belongings while you use the urinals. Each urinal separated by graffiti-free, six fee high marble slabs, which are the same composition of the bathroom stalls. For those who like having strangers hand you towels after you wash your hands of a perfectly executed bathroom visit, you won't be disappointed. ...and the food was pretty decent.

Go to Blue Martini for the people you find there, and not for club itself. I had fun at Blue Martini each of the times I went there with my friends, but it's easy to have fun in a place full of people who are drinking alcohol. As with many clubs, drinks are made to a very basic standard of quality. The bar staff are more familiar with some cocktails than with others. If you like trendy martinis then you will probably be satisfied with what you get there. If you like to sip (or quaff!) something less trendy then you may be disappointed, even if your preference is classic and very straightforward to make. During my most recent visit I ordered a particular drink I like, and when the bartender asked me about it I explained how to make it. Though it's a very simple cocktail -- easy to explain and to make -- she brought me something completely different. It included ingredients I didn't ask for. It's baffling, really. But what she gave me was wet and reasonably refreshing, and she's pretty and cheerful and looks really good in her special pushup outfit, so I called it good. Next time I will try one of the two other bars and see if they can make me a drink according to my tastes. One of the big attractions at Blue Martini is the live music. The club has a bona fide stage situated above their main bar. Sound quality is not so good, however. I think some of the bands that play there may be good, but I really couldn't say. The club could install better sound equipment and patrons would enjoy the music more, but as it is the music is mostly background noise. But having a band on the stage adds to the ambience. The Blue Martini crowd is varied. It seems to be prime prowling territory for local cougars, so if your tastes place you on either side of that equation then put on your best undies, spritz on a bit of designer scent and have at it. I don't know what we call the cougar's male peers, but you will find them there too. That dynamic is a bit different, though. The club attracts some hotties in their sexy club dresses, so naturally a range of men follow, including the younger guys and many who are older. There is some display of wealth, and you will catch everybody checking out somebody in the crowd. Some patrons may find it challenging to maintain eye contact with their companions when babes in cutaway dresses bounce within view. It's perfectly okay to look... that's the purpose of this club. If you bring a date who doesn't permit that kind of ocular freedom then it's your bad. Blue Martini has a dress code but I can only guess what it might be. The first few times I went there I dressed according to the stated business casual/evening attire code, but I found that patrons are not consistent about it. So I don't bother with it anymore myself. It's very casual. I have seen t-shirts and flip flops in the club, but you may be pushing your luck if you dress that way and want to get in. Conversely, don't bother with a suit unless you want to impress somebody or you happen to like wearing suits to clubs. Though it's a casual place it's also amenable to a wide range of attire. Wear whatever you like and don't worry about feeling under or overdressed. In summary, Blue Martini is a popular club on the eastside. The amenities of the club are lacking, but you can find fun people to chat with and maybe much more if luck, skill or circumstance favor you. Don't count it among the best clubs, but don't discount it as a fun spot, either.

Blue Martini is a great new Chic Lounge in the new Bavern upscale shopping mall, next the Microsoft buildings. I'm talking about Beverly Hills of Bellevue for this Mall with designer shops. I've been there for Ladies Night twice where they have Live Cover bands playing and ladies get in free. On Fri. and Sat. nights there's a DJ but the dance floor is a bit small and gets really crowded. So there might be a line outside for people to get in if you go late. If it's past Happy Hour the drinks are expensive. It's a good thing I don't drink. Their Happy Hour and Food menu are limited. I did try their beef tenderloin flat bread that was like pizza and it was very tasty and came to a generous portion. So if you like a noisy and crowded atmosphere to bring your date or friends come to the Blue Martini for Fri. or Sat. night. It's quieter on Sundays, if you want to hear your date talk.

This place deserves 0 stars! I had to default to 1 because I can't post this without a rating! Oh boy, where do I begin? Well, it's Friday evening (730PM). I walk up to the entrance, there's a guy dressed in black manning the door. It's loud. I peek from outside to see what this loud music is all about. There's live entertainment- 70s cover sound. Cool, I like it. Blue and purple lights are accenting the interior. Duder suit checks the ID and shows me to walk over to the hostess stand. I felt like a fish out of the water while in front of the place. Mind you, I just left work- jeans and a raincoat on because well it's the PNW. Hostess tells me it's $10 bucks to get in. Seriously, wtf? $10? It's 730! The $10 is for the entry for live entertainment. I seriously wasn't there to be entertained by the live music. I was there to pick up my fiancee so that we could peace out. I told the hostess that I wasn't there for the entertainment, I'm picking up my fiancee. She said "Oh sorry, but I can't just let you in, it's $10." I'm thinking, are you hard of hearing? I'm not there to enjoy the entertainment or your lounge, I'm here to go inside, pick up my fiancee (most of you are thinking, why not call him to come outside? maybe I wanted to go inside to take a small peek with what the hype is all about). But I guess to look inside there is a small price to pay... So I had to tell her again, I'm not there to enjoy the lounge or whatever with her restaurant, I just wanted to go inside and get my fiancee and leave. Then she "grew" sympathetic to my situation and said "OK, I'll let you in this time but I don't normally do these things so next time it's $10". I don't like to be difficult with people but if they're going to be difficult with me, I'll turn on the assertive button. Oh I laughed on the inside and rolled my eyes as I walked in. Just as I thought, dark and crowded... caters to the older pretentious Bellevue crowd and boy are there tons of plastic looking people in there! Let's just say, I'm not coming back and not my cup of tea to enjoy. Ever.

Had a few drinks here and they were made pretty well. they are known for their martinis and they sure do live up to the name. Also had some spinach and artichoke dip and it was pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary. If it weren't for the high prices, I'd probably give it a better rating.

okay, so I was sort of in "ah" of this place at first just figuring out exactly what was going on and who I was surrounded by. I definitely feel like I found the gem for people who are 40+ and single or just Bellevue Housewives looking to pretend they are 20 something again... I literally did feel like I was in the middle of a "Real Housewives of Bellevue" episode if that existed... however they had a fun cover band playing top 40 (who did look like a trashier and older version of Black Eyed Peas, but besides the point lol) and it was in general a good time just to try out something different (I am not a Bellevue regular). It was definitely trying to be more upscale and Vegas clubby but just a miniature version, sort of achieved it. They also have a dance floor and 3 bars...so for a birthday or event based evening I think this would be fun, but otherwise I highly doubt I will ever find myself here again. Also, I must add parking prices were out of control... Pros: live music, 3 bars, dance floor, fun atmosphere for an event/birthday, feels like a very different scene than Seattle. Cons: super expensive ($14 per drink, $10 cover, $21 garage parking), skews 40+ singles scene, full of older woman trying to be 21 again (just saying, might be a pro for some though), somewhat cheesy wannabe Vegas.

Thought It might be fun to check out the new martini bar...not impressed. First it was $20 cover to get in for 2 of us which was crazy! We walk in an there is a live band playing which was super loud and nothing special...we go to the bar and We took a look at the martini list and ordered 2 $16 martini's. They both tasted like juice, couldn't even taste the alcohol and not sure there was any in our drinks. Seriously?? If they are going to charge that for a martini they better be good! We finished our drinks and left...couldn't even have a conversation without yelling to hear each other. There bartenders all wear these blue bustier tops which look trashy. The people are like wannabe's that try to act cool and try way too hard! The vibe is strange...this place does not belong in Bellevue, kinda trashy. $60 for 2 drinks, no thanks...won't be going back.

I thought we were going to a cool Martini bar and I was looking forward to taste one of their Martini's that I had hopes for. OMG was I wrong. Pricey chemical/syrup taste Martini's that are served in a not even cold shaker. Music was bad and the ambience was not at all what I had expected. I never even saw a bartender shake a Martini! People that like these Martini's must not know what a good Martinin taste like.

I've made 2 trips in so far. Once on a weeknight to hang out with some friends that were already there, then on a Sat. night to see a friend celebrating his birthday there. I can tell you I love the bar itself. They did a great job on the layout and the decor. No, I mean REALLY great job. In the bar we didn't experience any service issues as others have. As noted by others this is an extremely expensive place to eat/drink. $14 Martinis. I get we're in Bellevue and in the Bravern and this place obviously is a step above other places in the area. But, at those prices I can't/won't spend as much time there as I do other bars in the Bellevue. Impacting my rating the most is the line experience on that Sat. night. When I arrived I headed to the front as my friends party was on bottle service that night and I was on his list. The door guy told me that because I hadn't arrived early enough I'd have to wait in line. I was mildly annoyed by this, had it been my birthday and my friends were told to wait after I had paid money for bottles I'd have been more than annoyed. THEN, as I'm in line waiting I notice that there are massive amounts of people that are getting through the door without waiting, so I start paying attention. And there it was, the next group handed the door guy cash. And the group after them did the same. Quite frankly that's the kind of behavior I expect from door guys at Belltown joints. I don't care that they were letting some of the industry people through, I don't care that they were letting some of the Eastside society people through. I do however care that at a high end establishment the door guys were acting like cheap downtown club "security".

I was just there tonight for an event hosted by an aesthetic surgeon that has a business in Bellevue. I found the efforts of the business that was hosting it to be very good but the service was lacking. It seemed that the general demeanor of the staff was just plain unengaged. One gal was more concerned about keeping her ridiculous bustier adjusted more than taking care of her customers. Not accommodating at all. I don't care, nor am I offended by the ostentatious display of cleavage, as long as the service equals the cup size.

Went for Happy Hour with some co-workers and wasn't impressed. Service was slow and ditzy. We only had drinks and they were watery and the waitress got a couple of our drinks wrong. The rest of the people there were 40+ aged business men. If I ever decide I want a sugar daddy, that will be my first stop. I am guessing that was their target audience based on how the waitresses were dressed.

This is a fun place to go hang out with friends! I have enjoyed myself every time that I have gone there. One thing that I really appreciate about this place is that there are 3 bars. When you need a drink there isn't a long wait. They have enough bars and bartenders that getting service isn't a challenge. I organized a get together on a weeknight there, and had about 25 people show up. It was great! There was plenty of room for people to mingle and everyone had a really good time. Pros: fun vibe, good drinks, live entertainment, nice athmosphere, good place to go with groups Cons: pricey, STRICT dress code, sometimes there is a line and a cover

The Blue Martini is located in the Bravern, which I would never visit for any other reason. When you walk in the front door of the upscale bar, it's simply stunning. There is a sort of window in the small lobby that allows you to look directly at the center of the main stage, which it frames. The stage is backlit in soft blue with quite of bit of millwork and niches that reminded me of a library or museum. This particular night, the singer of the band (Jennifer Newberry) was wearing a white formal(ish) evening dress that popped against the blue background. It was all quite stunning and clear the management had put quite a bit of thought into the design and architecture of the place. After moving past the doormen, through the lobby, and into the bar itself, there were round higher tables and chairs to sit at grouped around the stage. The music was excellent and I have to specifically applaud the management for the choice of band, which is a local talent. Between sets, Jennifer moved among the patrons and talked freely with people. $14.00 is more than I would typically pay for a drink. However, I know I can't expect to pay $3.00 for beers and get this kind of high end talent and venue. Maybe the musicians actually get paid something here? I hope so. I ordered the Hummus Plate. It was tasty, but it would be nice if there was an option with olives. It seemed a little thin of substance, and usually I expect olives with my hummus. The crab dip came with triangles of toasted flat bread, which were hard as croutons. A softer or thicker bread would have been much more enjoyable. I felt like I was going to break a tooth. The waitstaff was pleasant and the timing was excellent. Overall, I have to give the venue a 5 star because the atmosphere and band selection was so far above my expectations that it absorbs for me anything that otherwise wasn't perfect.

Upscale Hooters! Luckily I was there at happy hour and all the drinks were half off. $14 for a drink? are we in New York? All the staff are very cute and wear tight little outfits. Lots of guys stopping by after work for some eye candy. I like the layout. they have three bars and lots of tv's with sports on. Attendant in Men's room, to help you wash your hands. Our server was great very attentive and nice. We didn't order food, so I can't comment on that. The two drinks I had weren't very good. If I would have paid $14 for them I would not be happy. The bartender was very cute (busting out of her top), but I don't think she made a very good drink. Go for happy hour 5pm-7pm, or go somewhere else with reasonable drink prices before you go here.

I've only been here two times and don't plan on returning. The first time I was here I had a pleasant experience, it could have been that it was a Sunday early evening and happy hour and that there was no one else in the place. The server was nice so I ignored the yoga pants she was wearing and her muffin top that was displayed in addition to her areolas that were on the verge of showing. Second visit was on a Monday industry night. I give them credit for the karaoke with a live band, it was definitely a plus and the lobster salad that I ordered was also very delicious. The down side to the salad the lobster that was in it was not adequate for the price, 1-2 oz the equivalent of 1 jumbo prawn. I presented my industry card and was not given the industry discount that I should have gotten since it was clearly after 11pm. I paid full price for the drink and salad and my card was charged for 20% over the price of the bill. Not happy. Should I return, I will be having a double tall h2o on the rocks, thanks.

I've read all the posted reviews and this is my take on it: If $14 martinis are out of your league, don't go. If you're looking for a 'local Seattle bar' with the usual local beers on draft, don't go. If you are insulted by good-looking wait staff and the crowd that appreciates that, don't go. Look, I get it that sometimes that staff can mess up stuff, especially when the restaurant is new. Admittedly I didn't like to see the review that said that the line staff prioritized those that tipped even for birthday party latecomers, but that's just the way the story goes in some places (ever been to New York City?). I've been to bars in NYC where I've been a VIP and got past dozens of those behind the ropes. Sometimes it's nice to be able to play those games. If you don't like it, don't go. Blue Martini is decidedly from another place, and for the Bravern and for a certain crowd that likes the higher-end Eastside nightlife and something definitely NOT Seattle, then it works. I've been there half a dozen times over the last few weeks. I enjoy the discount during happy hour where I can get some really decent food for a reasonable price and get some good drinks that, yeah, are a little steep for 'happy hour', but I go there *expecting that*. If I feel like staying for a while for the band to start up, the drinks double in price, but hey -- I'm having a good time with good music and hanging with my friends that enjoy the same. We go there looking for something upscale and we're prepared to pay for it. So far I have received generally excellent and consistent service, and the drinks and food have been very good. I connected with the band that opened it up, some of the wait staff know me by name, and I'm a 'friend' of the bathroom attendant. I like that, and I like having Blue Martini to escape to.

I'm very displeased, in all fairness my experience was probably uncommon however they didn't properly address the issues. Lets start with the good - live music, good food, cute waitresses. The bad - the service, I waited over 45 minutes for a dish because the kitchen "forgot." Service was slow in general, they mischarged my drinks, and everyone agreed the place was far too hot. They offered nothing but a "sorry" for the poor experience. Its not often that I leave no tip, but today was one of those days.

Went here for a night out with 3 friends, our server added a 20% gratuity to our bill and when we asked about it, she told us that a 20% gratuity is added when the bill is over $200. After paying, we asked the manager about this on our way out and he told us that there isn't a policy like that. They didn't do anything to correct the charges, it wasn't worth our time arguing for it so we left. I wouldn't recommend this lounge based on this experience, we're never going back.

Blue Martini is what it is - strong drinks served by women with shirts that are clearly too small for their cleavage, along with live music. But it attracts a crowd that wants to have fun - which is always good. To be honest, I haven't gone on the weekend - I hate paying a cover. But the non-cover night are really , really fun. However, I can see why people from the greater Seattle area hate it - it's not a good place to go if you have a stick up your backside...

Hello martini fans. First, anyone that drinks martinis knows there is a huge difference in a traditional martini or adding espresso or Red Bull with their vodka. You only do the later, if you want to double or triple the get drunk or create more of a drug like intoxication. Its not a buzz for the average person. It can get you pretty crazy or smashed to another zone. Don't blame a bar for your hard core choice. Most of you that are biz people with a money belt, know that Blue is also in Vegas. Its more of a place to absorb the chic entertainment value and a huge social arena. Finally, we get a true upscale Vegas style bar in our neighborhoods. Of course, its set up to make money to pay the hefty rent, to make a profit and encourage those with cash to be their guest. It's only place for the more sophisticated upper income, more mature people that want to have some fun and forget their daily transactions, their latest deal or the stock market. Its a gold card++ spot to flash some cash, like in Vegas...the more you tip and spend, the higher the quality of service. Its a 30-40+ and up spot for those with the haves, i.e. Cash & Class. Not for cheap drinks and your way up the ladder-you have to already be at the top to not wince at a $14.00 drink and have the maturity to mingle with the already successful on the eastside. Not a spot for the in college or just out 20's crowd of wanna be, yet to have stature group..opt out, unless you want to eat rice for the next month as you rack up your credit card. You will more likely see a CEO and the six or seven figure crowd here....not whining youngesters looking for their next hang out. Not childs place, its the who's who of the Eastside. The average Joe or Jane should seek less expensive threads. Not a place for married couples, unless your super hip and loaded...bring a group of fun people that want to mix and mingle with other "boss" peeps. Great bartenders, who are beautiful...both the guys and gals. They are smart and know how to cater to groups of adults that are just out to chill and spill a few. 3 stars for too much humingbird mixer in their specialty drinks and putting my Mohito in a brandy sniffer. I was with a Cuban beauty biz woman who did not recognize the beverage after she tried my sugared diluted drink. Order straight and clean here. The bartenders work here to make top tips, they are well trained.

Love this place! Excellent Martinis and great food on happy hour prices. Ladies night was awesome, The best thing about this place is the quality of the bands. Love, Love, Love, Love Fade To Black. Hope to come back here for a 50th birthday celebration if this band might be playing again soon.

Fantastic Hot Spot in Bellevue at the Bravern. Good food, music and drinks. This is the place to be.

Great atmosphere! Always fun meeting people and hanging with friends for happy hour. Music is great with a little bit for everyone. I see some posts about being pricey as are most establishments in the area. I find the prices to be at par with what you might expect to pay in downtown Bellevue. These aren't the cheap seats folks!

Use to love it here on Wednesday for happy hour ($1 drinks for the ladies) and their food is good. I could have fun after work, and it was cheap. However, last Wednesday was a complete disaster! The waitress spilled the martini all over my friend and when we asked if they would comp our food for the incident, they took $1 off our bill...yes people, $1!! Oh and they would pay for the dry cleaning bill if we came back with the receipt. Seriously!! Obviously, we were not happy...so no tip and I guess the waitress didn't like that, so she proceeded to charge my friends card extra money so she'd get her tip I guess. Are you kidding me???!!! What is wrong with this place. Piece of advice, make sure you zero out the tip line so they can't pull this scam on you, which sounds like its happened to others. I'm pretty sure customers are not first here, so be careful! The service here has always been super slow...the girls never come back, but sure do pay attention to the boy tables. For some reason, we never get silverware or napkins, but noticed that the boys do, huh?? Guess I'd love to see a place with boy waiters in tight clothes, where's that place? The good news to this story, they sent my friend a $50 gift card after she emailed the GM, so at least someone knows how to treat their customers and have somewhat redeemed themselves.

One word... Awful! Worst service I have ever experienced in my life. For some reason our waitress thought that her looks would make up the fact that we weren't greeted for 10 mins, took 25 mins to get our drinks after we ordered, she messed up my friend's order THREE times (how that is even possible is beyond me) and it took 45 min for my husband to receive his first drink, as she forgot about him twice. Went there for my birthday, and it turned into a total mess because of our waitress. And this was a on a Sunday!!!!!!!! Not even one apology. Then she charged three of our cards the wrong amount! She put in her own tip!!!! Called and talked to a manager and she was as dumb and useless as her staff. Not even to mention their "specialty" cocktails were over priced and nasty. So much sugar and juice. There was about 15 of us, and we all had the worst time. I've never been a complainer and never even used yelp, but in this case, I had to. I'm sure not many people will get to read this due to BM paying yelp to take down bad reviews. Good luck BM, your never going to make it in Bellevue, Suite Lounge already took over.

Well, as promised I let some time pass to see how this new venue might be able to step things up. While they are still to loud for any socializing when the music is playing, they are stepping up their game with service and effort and I admire that. The prices are still steep for what you are getting but understanding the level of entertaiment they are bringing in I can understand some of it. The quality of the constancy in drinks is getting better too. Will keep checking in. ;)

This is a hard one. I actually really love this place. It's super chic, I've always been impressed with the bands and the staff is very friendly. The only thing I don't always like is the crowd. There are few regular creepy men that kind of linger but do do anything enough to make staff take notice and the rest of the crowd is a bit snooty. It's definitely a bit of a different crowd than I'm used to but how can I fault the Blue Martini for that. I have loved every single private event I have been to there though. Of course it's my kind of crowd and I get all the great service that comes with the place.

Went here for opening night because my workplace got some "VIP Invitations" in the mail. Let me just begin by saying this place works in Bellevue but I don't think it would fly in Seattle. Bellevue has this "wannabe ritzy" image and Blue Martini definitely tries to fit that image as well. It reminds me of being in Vegas: velvet ropes, bouncers everywhere, VIP areas where us "normal folk" aren't allowed to go in, cocktail waitresses in bustier's and black bras that make all of their boobs look fake (wonder if that's a standard issued uniform from CIntas?), etc. The martini list is extensive (about $14 average per drink) but this is not a "cocktail nerd" bar - it's cookie cutter. A real drinker's bar wouldn't have large martini glasses like you find here. The drinks on opening night were free and I really wouldn't pay much more than that for what I got (their signature "blue martini" has a glow stick in it - is that necessary?). We tried some food and it was meh. The scallops were overcooked and the menu said they were supposed to have wasabi on them but you could have fooled me, the beef was pretty underseasoned and the crab cakes were heavy and just not that great. I completely understand that this was opening night and the bartenders were probably hating life but this place is a chain so at least the food should be better. Hopefully they will smooth things out over the next month or so but this just isn't my kind of place anyway. If you're into dark clubs with ok drinks and food and hot chicks serving you, come here. Personally, if I'm spending $14 on a martini I'd way rather go to Tavern Law or the Zig Zag Cafe where they really know how to mix a fine cocktail.

When judging the food and drinks here it is only fair to bear in mind that these products are secondary, as plainly the primary product of the Blue Martini is cleavage. With that in mind, one might be a bit more patient with over-priced, over-sweet cocktails, which seem designed for 16-year-old girls determined to get some liquor in their system without suffering the indignities of tasting liquor. If one diligently applies oneself, you *can* find a cocktail fit for non-teenagers (e.g. perhaps the Cucumber Martini), and if you arrive during happy hour you can get both food and drinks for an average club price, minus the considerable bosom tax that leaves mediocre drinks in the $15 range. The food is actually pretty good. The cleavage is served in ample portions and in various appetizing presentations. The place is fairly packed and lively with the after-work crowd, with live music starting most nights at 7:30.

This place is great for martinis, but not great for food. My girlfriend and I went for Happy Hour and prices are 50% off :) which made us happy because regular prices are over $14 per martini. They have an interesting menu for drinks. The place is huge and nice. I can see that at night it can be a great environment. However, as food place, it is a ripped off. Service was great.

Enjoyed the Grand Opening of Blue Martini last night @ the Bravern in Bellevue. The Live Music right behind the main bar is a nice touch. Plus... they were damn good. I didn't catch the unhappy/overworked bartenders mentioned in the other two posts. Ours was very happy and did a great job. A lot of security, upscale Bellevue vibe for sure. Didn't try the food, but the overall look and feel of this place is nice. I'll be back as a paying customer next time.
