Super friendly staff! Bagels are yummy! Wish the bathrooms were cleaner!

Great little breakfast spot with a neat build-your-own concept. Bagels were on point and the coffee was pretty good, too! 5-stars goes to the staff. I guess I made it incredibly obvious that I hadn't been there before, and they actually took the time to show me around the menu and make suggestions based on what I liked. Kudos!

Blazing Bagels is a great place to breakfast eat at. While we were searching for a place to eat, we past by this place and we decided to give it a shot. We found a parking spot easily, and we go in the place to see their menu. First, we were greeted by a very friendly staff, and were introduced to the different types of bagels and how we can order them. They have two menus, one to choose what bagel you like and what to put on it, and the other is already made bagels. I choose the salt bagel and added eggs and some vegetables. It tasted like the best bagel I ever had. This place is the subway of bagels. You choose your favorite bagel and add anything from the menu to it. This place's service, bagels, and location will defiantly make us come back to it again.

The best thing about this place is the customer service. The staff members are friendly, patient, and helpful. We walked in and were overwhelmed by the choices. A nice staff member explained how to place our orders and went over the menu. The next best thing is there amazing selection of bagels. They have rosemary, sourdough, pumpernickel, salt, and much more more. They also have a variety of spreads. You can order a breakfast bagel, a bagel sandwich, just a bagel with cream cheese or a sandwich on regular bread. They have a variety of drinks (coffee, juice and more). It's a nice place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. I will have to stop by another time to stock up on salt bagels and to try a rosemary bagel.

Was running late for work, and needed breakfast, so decided to stop in here for a breakfast sandwich. Didn't know how to order at all, but the girl there was so friendly and helpful. I ordered a sausage and egg bagel with pepper jack cheese, red onions, and chipotle cream cheese....oh my gosh, it was delicious!

Cozy place with more than 20 kinds of bagels! All you need to do is: choose you bagel, decide how you want it-toasted or not, add cream, veggies, meat, cheese....and enjoy! The team is super helpful, professional and nice! Will come back here for sure :) Sooooo delicious!

3/5 stars: Would've given 4/5 stars if my bagel was toasted a bit more and if the price was a bit lower. Ordered: Sun-dried tomatoe bagel with jalapeno cream cheese

I'm very picky about my bagels and these ones definitely make the grade!! Bagels are fresh, soft and perfectly chewy(especially when you go first thing in the morning). Super friendly staff makes my mornings a little brighter. Challah bread is delicious as well. The only reason not a perfect score is the coffee. Literally undrinkable, I had to throw it away after one sip.

Watch out for the driver, he drifted into the carpool lane and almost slammed into us.

The bagels are good, but the value is not. $3.27 for one bagel with cream cheese?

  • Mekhala E.

Blazing donuts provided me with everything I needed that morning. An amazingly toasted sesame bagel with eggs and sausage and a hot cuppa joe. They have a very wide selection of bagels, you can choose from plain to pumpernickel and everything in between. I'm glad I was visiting from out of town and don't live/work here because then I would go to blazing bagels often and get myself into trouble ;)

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a breakfast/coffee shop. I wanted to order a bagle sandwich which was was on the overhead menu. But when I stepped up and ordered it they were frustrated and told me to fill out a form. Rather than asking if it was my first time and showing me what to do they made me feel stupid and became even more annoyed as I attempted to fill out the form. When I finally received my sandwich it wasn't even what I ordered in the first place. Never coming back here.

Maple bacon bagel was pleasantly sweet (tasted like a pancake), had a nice texture, and went well with the egg, ham, & havarti on my breakfast sandwich. The Zoe Zukerman (lox, capers, onion) was very tasty as well. Good coffee & cheerful service. First time here and will definitely come back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Loved this place. Everyone is SO nice! And the bagels are SO good! Their hours are perfect if you're looking for an early open spot for breakfast! My favorite is the everything bagel with cremates and a tomato - toasted. Yummy!

  • Ben S.

By far the best bagel I've ever had! Super friendly staff patiently talked me through the options for what was about to be come the most delicious breakfast I've had in ages. Located right next to the transit bus station and open early. Well worth eating!

  • Liz S.

These are my favorite bagels! So fresh and delicious. I love the cheesy bagels (cheddar, jalapeño pepper jack, and pizza) but they're all really tasty. The last time I was in I got a bagel sandwich on a jalapeño pepper jack bagel with cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and havarti. My boyfriend got a lox bagel sandwich and enjoyed it. He also ordered a toasted cinnamon chip bagel with cream cheese (yum, I got a bite). We ended up getting a free toasted plain bagel with cream cheese because they accidentally grabbed a plain bagel instead of cinnamon chip the first time around... so yeah I ended up eating 2 bagels. No complaints though. Everyone who works there is also friendly and helpful!

No review needs to be written for Blazing Bagels - there's always a line out the door! Quick and cheap - this place has it down! When you enter, you can fill out a sandwich (or bagel sandwich) order form and have it ready by the time you pay. Convenient! Wide assortment of bagels, spreads, and pastry/cookie items. A nice go-to if you're hungry in the morning and in a rush.

  • Adam C.

Really enjoyed their lox on plain. Someone else took my sandwich by mistake, which I can see happening quite often especially with the long line this morning. The staff apologized and made me another sandwich happily. Blazing Bagels has a variety of choices, which was a little overwhelming. I didn't know whether to get the pizza or the jalapeño bagel. Or bacon and chives. Or cranberry orange. ((I opted for the boring plain bagel in the end.)) It's a nice little place where you can sit down for a quick breakfast, and it has outdoor seating when it's nice out. Close to the transit center if you ride the bus.

  • Alisha O.

Dang good bagels. And baked goods. The best bagel dogs anywhere. Lox sandwich on rosemary is divine. They have some unique flavors as well, like a cinnamon bagel, and lots of spread choices. Not many other bagel places in Seattle, and this one's local and delish.

    (5)
  • Jason N.

Love this place! I can walk from home, which is a huge plus. I can't recommend the whole wheat everything bagels enough - they're delicious! The lox spread is the bomb. Whoever does the hiring there knows what they're doing...nice people, friendly, and they know the product.

Blazing Bagels is a fantastic place for lunch or your morning treat in Downtown Bellevue. The store moves the line through very quickly and has a very efficient ordering process for lunch. The staff is friendly, the bagels are wonderful and the amount of toppings/meat on the sandwich is reasonable. The bagel tasted very fresh and was full of flavor. A wonderful find for sure!

  • Monica G.

Amazing food and coffee. I go here almost daily when in town for a convention for the past 2 years. Service is friendly and fast and they have a great variety of flavors to pick from on their vast menu

  • Leeann T.

Bagel sandwiches to die for. I especially love that I can competely customize my bagel and or bagel sandwich to include almost any ingredient or topping imaginable. They even have a location at Safeco Field ! Oh and cookies are delicious!

  • Simardeep K.

Amazing bagels.. Friendly staff. They have over 30-40 varieties of bagels. I havent tried all yet but everyone I try each time, its amazing. Perfect breakfast spot. Get off the bus, get ur food and head to work.

  • Rebecca P.

I love this place. Cheap, good, easy eats, and drinks. Perfect for groggy mornings, cold, and gray days. I'm always on the lookout for a good chai. They have the good, conventional type here. A light sweet and more watery flavor. Perfect for those who don't like the richer type - like myself. It's warm with a hint of sweetness. And so worth the price! Other places offer their 8oz for ~$3.25 (I know the quality of the ingredients can differ.). This place does their 12oz for $2, not including tax, and their 16oz is $2.52, including tax. Obviously, the larger is cheaper. Bigger is better. (Go America!!) I really like their cinnamon raisin bagels. Very hearty. I didn't like bagels with raisins before, but after having theirs, I became a cinnamon raisin eater. Blazing!

  • Alex B.

Let me first say that the staff is great. They are friendly and fast. 5 stars for them. The two star rating is for the food. There is a QFC not too far from my house that makes better bagels than they have here. They are not fluffy, not delightfully chewy, and not even properly crunchy when toasted. They are a disappointment. The second part that bugs me about this place are prices and the quality of food. I usually pick up some bagels for my team, but today I decided to try a sandwich. I paid ~$7.50 for a Rylee Rose sandwich. For this money, I got a sandwich that had one small-ish dry bagel with some mustard on it, and a conservative amount of corned beef inside. That's it. Menu said it included cheese, but it wasn't there. I have no problem paying a premium for quality food, but this was SO not worth it. If a bagel on its own is $1.25, then I just paid 5-6 dollars for a touch of mustard and a little bit of dry corned beef. I feel ripped off and won't be buying any more sandwiches here. Advice for the management: I know you didn't ask for it, but just in case you're interested... - Up the freshness and quality of your ingredients - Up the amount of meat you put on each sandwich - Make a fresh batch of bagels for the lunch-hour rush Thank you for listening.

  • Troy D.

I love the bagel sandwiches here! I I've had several, but my favorites are the roast beef on an onion bagel and the pastrami. You get a 1/2 pound of pastrami! Soo good.

I have been in Seattle since 2009 and have been visiting Blazing Bagels since then. Nothing can beat a Sunday morning coffee and bagel combination. They have unlimited options on bagels be it a sandwich bagel, croissant bagel or the invisible bagel :). I love the fact that they offer you vegan and gluten free option on any bagel you order. Absolutely love this place and would recommend this place to be listed as top 20 must visit restaurants in Seattle.

  • Catherine M.

I really love blazing bagels and am just happy about its existence. The first time I went there for breakfast I got excited and ordered the BLT with turkey and avocado on a croissant (so good) plus a drip coffee, and it was more than I wanted/hoped to spend. So on my next visit the guy helped me find a simpler order which was also delicious for about half the cost. The staff is so down to earth and the energy there is happy and relaxed. Good, high quality products!

  • Jason S.

This location is footsteps from my office. I've had a number of really uneven experiences there: - Came in today to buy a bagel with cream cheese. It rang up at $4.64! That's seems high compared to the price for the same item at other bagel shops. Strangely, buying a bagel and buying the cream cheese separately was only $2.40. I understand it takes labor to spread creamcheese, but more than $2 for that labor seems high. - Whitefish salad sometimes tastes "off." - Other sandwiches have been great.

  • Rohan K.

A great place for a quick delicious breakfast. The bagels are a little chewy but full of flavor. I got the Jalapeno Pepperjack Cheese bagel with the Garlic Herb schmear and the Pizza bagel with the Jalapeno schmear. Both were absolutely fantastic combinations. My only complaint(and ys I know this probably sounds silly) is that they put way too much schmear on the bagels. They could easily put just half that because otherwise you can barely taste the actual bagel. Next time I'm going to request it on the side so that I can only take how much ever I need. Overall a nice breakfast option when you are craving delicious carbs and fats in the morning. p.s. Parking is almost non-existant so prepare accordingly.

  • Opal D.

They have the best breakfast sandwiches. The staff are efficient and cordial. The shop itself is pretty ugly with bad decor (if you can even call it decor). I'd recommend getting your food to go!

    (4)
  • Steve S.

This place is a complete operational shit show. Any time I go there the customer experience is a jumbled mess. Half the customers don't realize the order process, of first filling out a form, as it is not effectively communicated, and then are berated by the disgruntled staff. And since front of house operations are normally the best run part of a retail operation ... I'd hate to see their back office management. Seriously impressive how fucked up they are ... it is kind of like watching the Bachelorette. You know it isn't going to be good but your always amazed at how bad it is ...

Great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Quick, cheap, and yummy. I love all the options -- different types of bagels/spreads/veggies/etc. You can have your bagel made the way you like it and the options are just limitless. Their main branch is in Redmond (which is a bigger than their Bellevue location). Both branches have great staff -- very friendly and helpful.

Excellent bagel and great pastrami. Good service and a nice americano (with an extra shot of espresso it almost tastes like real coffee).

  • Pam U.

I love bagels. This is within walking distance, I will work for my food. My fave combo jalepeno bagel (toasted), chipotle schmear, avocado with salami. They have more bagels that are just as delicious, but why change that perfect bagel sandwich combo when its perfect? They also offer breakfast bagel sandwiches that are pretty darn tasty too.

  • N S.

Fantastic bagels, bagel sandwiches and baked goods. Had the B.L.T.A with an everything bagel. Best bagel be had in a while, will definitely be back. Will probably get the Chocolate Loaf Cake as well next time!

  • Yumiko K.

I have been to the Redmond location multiple times, but I decided to take my bf to this Bellevue location for breakfast. I ordered a veggie sandwich (on a whole wheat everything with chipotle schemer and lots of veggies!!) and also grabbed a bag of day-old bagels. My bf got a breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, and pepper jack cheese) with a cup of drip coffee. I don't think their coffee is that great, but both of our sandwiches were delicious. (Day-old bagels are still perfectly delicious too!!) Parking is available, but it is a bit tight and can be crowded. However, I can see that this location is perfect for those who are waiting for a bus at the Bellevue transit center.

First time visiting here this morning and was super impressed with the staff and the great cashier. She was very nice and friendly. The bagel (I got the Chevy) was awesome and the coffee is surprisingly good as well. Overall, great place. I wish I had this back home in California. I'll be back next time I'm in Seattle.

  • Amanda I.

Love this place for breakfast or lunch! Line is always out the door, but in all fairness this place is maybe 800 sq ft. But boy, are their bagels delish. Try an everything bagel bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. (The bacon is actually crispy!) But I swoon for the French Toast bagel with honey, cinnamon and raisin cream cheese. The lattes are just OK, but who cares! With soft, doughy, fresh bagels like these, you can do no wrong.

  • Miles A.

Bagles are what I like to refer to as "dank" . Located across from the bellevue transit center. Parking is a issue as for their isnt any really.

I went in for the first time today. Didn't know the menu but the cashier realized it and helped me quickly pick something out so i wouldn't miss my bus. It was really tasty, affordable and fast. Will return if I'm in the neighborhood again.

Great vegan cream cheese! I recommend getting the cranberry orange bagel! The staff is wonderful as well!

  • Jennifer K.

OMG! This place makes me so happy and sad at the same time. I am gluten free but will make the occasional exception for a bagel here. The French toast bagel with cream cheese will make you cry happy tears. Their sandwiches are delicious as well. Try anything, really.

  • Skyler D.

Love bagels, love bagel sandwiches. Love bagel sandwich shops with good reviews on Yelp. Don't love this place. The bagel was hard and chewy - like others have said. The soda machine had the weakest drip of flavor - awful. The m&m cookie was a bit stale and tasted like it had been sitting around other food for a few days. Those three items cost around $12. ?? Won't be stopping in again.

  • Chalker S.

The best bagel I have had since returning to the west coast! This place is great! Their lox and lox cream cheese bagel is amazing! Also very reasonably priced! I can't get enough!

I was working in Bellevue over Easter weekend and stumbled into this Blazing Bagels just around the corner from my hotel about 7 am on the Monday morning following Easter. Luckily for me is wasn't very full so I didn't have to wait long for my bagel. The setup was a little confusing at first, but the guy behind the counter recognized that lost look in my eyes and quickly guided me through the process. I ordered one of the cheesy bagels, I believe it was the jalapeno pepper jack cheese bagel, toasted and covered in their cream cheese which I was told they make themselves. I don't know much about that, but I CAN tell you that this was one AMAZING bagel, and I'm not usually a big bagel fan. I travel up here once a year, so I'll see you guys again in about 365 days.

  • Claire W.

New York ruined me. These are fair-to-middling bagels suitable for itching a carb scratch, but not a bagel craving. If you haven't been blinded by the light of East Coast bagels it would still probably just be a decent baked good. That said, I would eat a tub of their cream cheese spreads with a spoon.

    (3)
  • Camille D.

Easy to order. So many breads and bagels to choose from and they're really friendly. I wish I could afford to spend $6 every day on a breakfast sandwich on my way to work!

  • Michael G.

Best bagels in Bellevue. Pretty good service too! Keep up the good work!

    (4)
  • Miss N.

Yum! Always great prompt service. Very good sandwiches, customizable or they have a awesome selection. Love the name thing they got going on, great coffee as well,I try to avoid Starbucks like the plague and they are right by the transit center! I hope they offer gluten free options someday because I can't tolerate it and need to get off it again. This place makes it sooo hard though!!

  • Ashley M.

I went there today for the first time while visiting Bellevue. The staff was friendly and my bagel was AMAZING! I will defiantly be coming back here next time I am in town!

  • Derya Y.

Fresh and very tasty bagels. I have tried the turkey sandwich on everything bagel and it was mmm. The location is very convenient. It is right across the Bellevue transit center.

  • Alison G.

My co-worker raves about their sandwiches and with good reason! I ordered an everything bagel w/hummus, green peppers, seasoned turkey (I'd be fine with plain next time), & cucumber. It came out to $7 something which is a little pricey but hey, that's what happens when you eat in downtown Bellevue. Since I stopped by around 1:50pm on a Wednesday, there wasn't a line. My order was ready in a couple minutes. The bagel was soft & the turkey was tender & moist. Everything was well seasoned and I devoured it all. The staff was friendly but slightly awkward. I wasn't crazy about the vibe they gave off but they gave me a good sandwich and that's what I was there for. It's a small place but there was plenty of seating. If you can't find any there, luckily there's a Starbucks right next door!

Blazing Bagels is Krazy Good. Stopped in there one morning while on business and went there every day for breakfast for the rest of my trip. Jalapeno bagel with Chipotle Cream Cheese had a fantastic flavor and a nice level of spice to start the day. The Bagel Dog was tasty and is definitely in the rotation, but don't forget the mustard (like I did). Finally, a Bacon Topped Bagel with Bacon Horseradish Cream Cheese. Nothing goes better with Bacon than BACON!!! Will be back in Bellevue next month and Blazing Bagels is on my quick breakfast short list.

    (5)
  • Lindsey K.

This is still my favorite bagel place! When I came here the other day, I had jalapeno pepper jack cheese bagel with jalapeno shmear. Nom nom nom. PLUS, they had the same exact bagel in their day old bagel pile. 6 bagels for $4.99. I made one each for my hubby and I this morning. So good! They need to open up more locations...

  • Mariya M.

I discovered Blazing Bagels a year ago when we had "bagel Fridays" in MS - several kinds of bagels and cream cheese delivered to every floor. These was delicious and addictive, so once these Fridays were over (too soon!), I just had to find the source of the bagels. I went there from time to time to grab my lunch - too bad I moved to another office! So now I go there at most once per month on weekends. My favorite combo is salt bagel + lox schmear (+ lox if I'm particularly hungry), grilled. Service is ok; once they got my order wrong (I think it was plain schmear instead of my usual lox one - probably double lox seemed too much :-)), but it tasted good anyways.

  • Gul G.

I was quite impressed by the different types of bagels they had. We tried Onion Bagel with egg, and a vegetarian bagel sandwich (Slutzsky) on Jalapeno Pepperjack Cheese bagel. Overall, we enjoyed both the bagels very much. Couple of things I did not like: 1) Onion bagel had fried onion on top of the bagel, while I was expecting and 2) Might sound strange, but the vege sandwich bagel had too much cream cheese on it! I couldn't taste the bagel or the veggies because of the excessive taste of the cream cheese. We had to mark our orders on a printed order form, one for regular bagels/custom bagels (white form), and the other for standard sandwiches (blue form). The service was fast. Overall, maybe slightly on the pricier side if you compare it to having bagels from that local corner shop ($5 vs $2), but if you think about it as a meal, then I think its decent value for money (7-8$ bagel sandwich for lunch).

  • Cristian C.

Walked in here on a whim while heading over to visit a dev team. So glad I did! Folks had a great attitude and quick service. Plenty if choices not only in bagels but how they make the sandwiches. Custom to your liking. Definitely making this a regular breakfast stop when I'm in town to visit!

I stopped in here while waiting for my husband to finish an interview. This place has a crazy bagel and cream cheese selection. I got the pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese and it was delicious! My mom ordered a bagel dog which wasn't so great... Everyone was really friendly, and the selection is fantastic.

Okay first review ever on Yelp. Has anyone ever experienced bad customer service here? I wouldn't say anything except it has happened THREE times now with the same employee. First of all, there are hundreds of choices staring you in the face. Give a girl a minute...And second, this guy looks at you like you should know what you want already. He looks annoyed if I don't order fast enough. I just verbally ordered an egg sandwich and he pauses and literally rolls his eyes and makes a face. I worked in the food service industry for many years and I believe in good customer service skills. I believe in listening to the customers and being positive. This guy is the complete opposite of that. And I'm sorry to say but the egg sandwich just sucked. There was hardly any egg and tons of waaaay overdone cheap-tasting bacon. I'm sorry I stopped in this morning and won't be coming back. I hope management reads this review and takes note of how this employee treats his customers,

In general, our consensus was that the bagels overall are dense and chewy. We ordered: 1. Everything Bagel w/ veggie smear on one side & berry smear on the other and 2. Asiago Cheese bagel w/ plain on one side & chive smear on the other, both toasted. Considering they were toasted and w/ diff smears, I was wondering how'd they handle the separation of the smears. Initially, I noticed the bagels were presented sandwich style and cut in half. I thought, oh, they must have done it so the smear was on 1/2 of the sandwich and the other on the other, right? I was shocked to open my bagel to see that they actually stuck together the sides of the bagel with two different smears - like a PB & jelly sandwich style. boo. Berry & veggy smear do not go well together. On the positive, they have a great variety of bagels and smears. In addition, great customer service. The folks there are extra friendly & nice - and even offered me a drink holder for my coffee - even though it was clearly not purchased from there. Personally, I've had better bagels though.

A while back, I used to frequent a pretty neat bagel shop, kitty corner from my place in Astoria, NY. Blazing Bagels is a very different kind of place, but it is legit -- perhaps the best bagels I had in/around Seattle. I am partial to their lox sandwich, but their other stuff is pretty great also. Even their coffee is delicious. I started keeping an eye on genetically modified stuff (bacteria DNA spliced into my foods DNA? Not today, thanks!), and asked them if their stuff was GMO-free. They said that all their bagels are GMO-free (except for bacon and pepperoni -- they just can't tell, since they don't know what's in those pigs' diet), which is awesome (of course this might change without warning, since the stuff isn't labeled). I am very happy these guys are around.

Delicious! And really quick. Everyone who worked there was friendly, helpful and efficient. The place was really clean. And for being as busy as it was, they worked hard to get everyone's orders out quickly. A great little stop. I'm satisfied.

If you can't get to Redmond in the morning and work in the downtown Bellevue area, you will appreciate this satellite Blazing Bagels location. It is directly across the street from the Bellevue Transit Center. The bagels here are actually brought over from the Redmond store as the space is much too small to work as a baking location. Hence I feel like I am re-reviewing the Redmond location again here. Picked up three bagels one morning, the sundried tomato, pesto and Asiago cheese. My initial thoughts on Blazing Bagels haven't changed. They are certainly edible, but they are just alright. I actually like the Costco and Safeway ones better than the ones here. It is just something about the chew texture that I don't like as much. I will say that they have a quite larger selection of bagels here. There are other offerings like sandwiches and muffins like the Redmond store albeit seemingly a more limited selection. If you are looking for bagels in Bellevue during the work week, this Blazing Bagels is a great place to stop by. Otherwise it would be better to make it out to the Redmond shop for its larger selection and bigger store.

I absolutely loveeeeed their bagels and flavored cream cheeses. Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the country :( I had a garlic bagel with garlic cream cheese that was absolutely divine, and stopped back later for a corned beef sandwich that was delicious as well. A wee bit pricy, but well worth it imo.

Love this place. Garlic bagel with salmon lox, cucumber, cream cheese, and capers is the way to go. Yum yum yum!

  • P D.

No offense to anyone who works here, I think they the service is decent. But the quality of the bagels are poor. Lots of cream cheese but, the bagels still are not good. Doughy, chewy, and just not right. Having lived in the East Coast, bagels are definitely my thing, and I don't expect these bagels to compare, but they are poorer than Panera, which is sad when you are a bagel place.

  • Gabe F.

I was skeptical of the NW bagel. I took my first bite into the lox and cream cheese on poppy seed bagel and I was delighted! The bagels are big, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the lox were plentiful and super tasty, unlike the previously frozen we get in TN. An all around excellent bagelry with fast and friendly service.

I stop by this Blazing Bagels occasionally in the morning to buy a bag of day-old bagels - $3 for 6 bagels. I always toast and butter my bagels, so day-olds are fine with me! The service is friendly and their bagels aren't bad either. They can be frozen without compromising the taste or texture (defrost it in the fridge overnight). One time I bought a fresh bagel and had asked if they could butter it - I haven't opted to do this again because it seems exorbitant to charge $0.50 to toast and butter a bagel (I think they have a butter roller device?). I was a bit surprised of the extra cost, as they didn't mention it would cost that much (nearly the price of adding cream cheese?). I have a toaster and butter at my office, so the day-olds work great.

Seattle area needs more places that have bagels. Love this place. I've tried four different bagels, created my own as well as taken their suggestion. Loved every single one of them. I love Jalapeno and it is a jalapeno mecca in there with the variety they serve!!! Garlic or Rye Bagels toasted with chive or jalapeno cream cheese, slice of onion does it for me!!!! Breakfast or lunch, best place for Bagels!!!

I love blazing bagels! I first had them back in high school. You could buy them at the student store. I would always get the "apple pie" bagel which was AMAZING. I was hoping to walk down memory lane and get one when I came in but they don't make them any more. That's ok. They still have a large selection to choose from. I got an whole wheat everything bagel (I know a little bit of a difference from Apple Pie LOL). I admit I was a little frazzled in the morning trying to figure out what I wanted but they were nice, friendly and patient. Definitely going to come here again in the morning if I happen to take the bus from here. It was a delicious treat.

I absolutely love this place! It's right across from the street from the transit center so I try to go here AT LEAST twice a month. It's kind of expensive but the bagels are bomb. I always get the jalapeno bagel with bacon, egg, pepperjack cheese, mayo, add more jalapenos and it's amazing. The people that work here are really friendly too!

  • Susan G.

They make a tasty bagel sandwich! The bagel itself was chewy and perfect, and the sammich was produced quickly and efficiently. The staff was friendly and polite, and the store itself and bathroom were sparkling clean. The coffee is basically deli coffee: not bad, but clearly not the most important thing. The turnaround on my sandwich was so fast that it doesn't even matter!

I had a BLTA and it was alright. The only reason I'm not giving it a higher grade is that the bagel itself was a little dense and not exactly supple. Otherwise, the sandwiches come recommended.

I was first introduced to this place from a friend's raving review of it. Admittedly I'm not a huge fan of bagels to begin with, so I didn't go in expecting to be wowed. Boy was I surprised! I have been going for a little over a year now and still cannot get enough of their bagel sandwiches! They have a wide variety of bagels to choose from, along with a good selection of meats/veggies and condiments to put together a vast number of tasty bagel-wich combinations. The one bagel I must always use, however, is my personal favorite: the garlic. My favorite toppings are probably the corned beef and pastrami. It's definitely pricey when you compare it to other sandwich shops like Subway & Jimmy Johns, so it's not something I eat too often, but it's always a treat when I do.

I usually get their veggie bagel sandwich on whole wheat, which is really good, they use fresh avocado and veggies-not the cheap avocado schmear.... They also have really good priced half-off bagels, everyday. Another plus is their coffee is dank, I get the large mocha and it's always steaming hot, unlike starbucks that's sometimes cold/warm :( Even if there's a line out the door, the longest I've had to wait is five minutes for my order and they have yet to get my order wrong. It's actually hard to get the order incorrect because you can fill out an order form to create your own sandwich/order with your name on it. All together, my bagel and coffee is like 8 bucks, but I gotta leave a tip because everyone there is super friendly and always attentive.... It's a really great alternative to the corporate starbucks blunder :D

Great selection of all sorts of bagels and schmears and a great location since it is close to most downtown Bellevue businesses. The service is great as you can tell that the people who work here really care about what they are doing. The mornings can be really busy, so if you are trying to get in and out with bagels in hand for a meeting, you might want to allow some extra time to be sure you are out in time. A couple of times I have been in here, there has been a fairly long line of people ordering single bagel sandwiches, so it takes some time to get through all the orders. Either way, though, I think this place is well worth the wait and any purchases from here are sure to make you a favorite colleague in your office! My favorite is the french toast bagel with either honey raisin walnut or berry schmer. So delicious!

What HAPPENED to this bagel shop???? We used to love coming here on the weekends because of their fantastic bagel sandwiches. But in the last 3-4 months they changed the kitchen staff and sadly the quality of their sandwiches have deteriorated. We ordered 2 sandwiches; 1) sausage patty was burnt 2) where was the salumi we ordered???

  • Kyle C.

Absolutely awesome bagel place. They have a huge selection of bagels, schmears and other baked goods. You can pretty much create any kind of sandwich or breakfast food imaginable. It's in a weird industrial location but its just as hip as any trendy seattle hole-in-the-wall. And it's on my way to the dog park! I'll be going here ever weekend!

If you're at the transit station... STOP HERE! The bagels are AWESOME, and their bagel sandwiches are even better. And by far the best bagel-dogs in the Seattle area. My recommendation to try would be a warm pepperoni bagel with sun-dried tomato creme cheese. Mmmmmm

Quirky little Seattle-like cafe smack in the middle of the high rise office buildings in Bellevue. The best onion bagel & lox I've had in a long long time.

just next to my bus stop. remembered how I had a BOGO coupon 4rm the entertainment book. The best part is organizing your sandwich the way you want it! I am usually not a biggie on them bagels, but this was absolutely mouthwatering and fresh! It is like an upgrade from jimmy johns!! The only downfall is that they close super early! Like at 4pm.

So disappointing. I read the reviews and thought maybe I was finally onto a good bagel in Seattle. Barely better than grocery store bagels I'm afraid. Certainly no better than Einstein. These are bread bagels. I think the Website claims that the owner went on some kind of quest to find good bagels and then did research and opened this business. Not even close, if New York is the gold standard. It also makes me realize what a tragedy the closing of the Bagel Deli in Capitol Hill was. And I am somewhat of an expert on bagels as I spent several years as a bagel baker with a guy from Brooklyn who was making the real deal. These are ok I guess if you like what are called bread bagels. These are not the crusty, malty, chewy authentic kind of bagels. I would say they are the third best of the four places I've tried in Seattle (Number 1 is Eltana - Montreal bagles, I know - then Market/Pike Place, then Howell Street, and then these). I'm still looking for that good Seattle bagel but it eludes me. I don't know why it's so hard to make a good bagel and I have to think these are rated so highly because people have never had one. San Francisco had this problem for a long time and in the last year or so, a couple of excellent bagel bakeries opened that rival any on the East Coast. I'm hoping the same thing happens here. Next up, Bagel Oasis and Zats a Better Bagel.

Great bagels and huge sandwiches. I got a fantastic roast beef sandwich on a rosemary bagel. And this bagel was soft and flavorful. I wish I could have had a combo of meats on it, but each extra meat was $1.99, which is not a crazy price, but I wasn't hungry enough for double meat. Quick and delicious, definitely recommend.

This is my infrequent morning breakfast stop. I have always been a huge fan of Sausage, egg and cheese on a toasted bagel for breakfast and this is a perfect spot to get it at. First off they have a huge selection of bagels everything from poppy seed to Snicker Doodle. Everyone I have tried has been pretty good. They also make their own cream cheese which is also tasty. Nice selection of sandwiches and even lunch box specials which I have not tried yet. The workers at the Bellevue location are very friendly and inviting, maybe even a little too much for 7am. They are very helpful with suggestions and keep things moving at a nice pace to get everyone to work on time.

Absolutely love the food and the service is pretty quick, especially during the lunch rush in downtown Bellevue. The only reason I mark it down one star is because of price. I know it's in downtown, but nearly $8 for a bagel sandwich (I get one with no veggies - only meat & bagel) is a bit much. (That isn't including chips or drink) If the prices were a tad lower this would be a solid 5-star affair from me.

Since you build your own bagel, the sandwiches can get a little pricy ($8-9 average) depending on what you decide to put in your sandwich/type of bagel you get. I LOVE the jalapeno cheddar bagel but it's usually all gone by the time I grab lunch (around 11:45am). They have a huge selection of bagels and cream cheeses to choose from though so you will always be able to leave with a tasty sandwich :) This location caters to the business clientele so it closes fairly early. I like that they also sell day old bagels in a bag of 6. You can also buy their cream cheeses in containers so you can make your own bagel sandwiches at home! Although these bagel sandwiches are a little pricy when compared to the Jimmy Johns and Potbelly located nearby, it's a great alternative when you're sick of the traditional non-bagel sandwiches.

This place is so cheap and the bagels are delicious! The location is pretty convenient too, right across from the Bellevue Transit Center and next to the City Center. The bagel options are endless! Variety is delightful :) They even have breakfast bagels which are pretty much a huge meal. My favorite is the bacon cheddar chive with cream cheese... mmmm... and it's only $2.50! It's way yummy and toasted is even better! This joint is definitely my breakfast go-to stop in the mornings before work. :)

I love this place. The bagels are huge and delicious, AND they have the best sundried tomato cream cheese ever. When I bring these bagels to work with me, everybody asks where I got them because they're so big and delicious. Now they're open on Saturdays so that is awesone for me!

Aside from Noah's, this is the only other bagels I will eat. Sesame seed with low fat plain.. their chive cream cheese is a little toooo chive-ey for me but you can tell it's homemade! Oh and they are also at the Issaquah farmer's market!

Fresh, Friendly, Fast, Fair..... Best bagel EVER!??! Probably not, but pretty damn good! It's where I go when I need a bagel fix during the work week!

I haven't gotten any of their sandwiches or anything, but I usually grab a toasted sesame or poppy seed with butter. One time, one of the guys messed the order up and put cream cheese instead. I sheepishly said "Oh um...I asked for butter..." but it wasn't a big deal at all. He apologized, and immediately started making another one. "You can give that to a friend or coworker or something" I left with two! So I took his advice and gave it to a coworker and explained the situation to her. "Yeah they're really nice there" is what she replied to me. I think good customer service goes a long way. As for the price, it's probably 2 dollars for a bagel, which granted is a lot, but I gladly support their business. In the morning, all it takes is a nice warm bagel to start off my day on a good note.

I walked around for an hour this morning, looking for somewhere to eat breakfast. I stumbled across this little gem around 10am. It's a tiny place, but, when I arrived, it was full of people waiting to order or to receive their bagels and sandwiches. I ordered a New York deli special. It was supposed to be either corned beef or pastrami. I asked for something off-menu, half corned beef and half pastrami, reuben style. And I ordered an off-menu coffee (a Cuban style double-shot of espresso with a shot of steamed milk). My off-menu orders were well received. Both sandwich and coffee were excellent. Service was quick and friendly. The sandwich was served on crusty toasted rye. Swiss cheese and kraut were quite good. I took it back to the hotel, where I noticed that the pickle spear was in a baggie so as to avoid getting the bread wet. Last, but not least, the sandwich came with delicious red cole slaw. I would visit this place often.

At first I thought, "Ho hum, a bagel joint. They must be part of some chain or other." Then I realized this is a local, all Northwest company with just three locations and very tasty, unique bagel flavors. I'm addicted to the snickerdoodle bagel. My mom has emailed me at work and asked me to pick up a couple of the jalapeno pepper jack. They have a varied and unusual selection of "shmeers" (cream cheese with stuff in it) as well. So, 4 stars for being a good, solid bagel place as well as a local, homegrown company with some unique offerings.

I'm always leery about sandwiches that exceed the double digit price mark. It possibly justified by the inclusion of sides (pickle and tater salad/coleslaw) but sometimes I'd rather just have the sandwich. I will say that the sandwich is pretty large at almost 7 inches. I ordered the pastrami with swiss(?), mustard, and pickle. It was characteristically large in the middle, stuffed with meat. Never understood that practice. The toasting on the bread was nice. It wasn't hard or lacerating. The pastrami tasted good but the texture was a bit gristly and didn't bite off easily. The pickle was too sour for my taste with some odd seasonings in the brine. The potato salad was under-seasoned, and marred with the presence of black olives. It was only ok but I will try their bagels at another visit.

Although a bit on the pricy side at almost 7-8 dollars for a bagel sandwich, this place surprisingly hits the spot (on my tummy lol) when I am craving a meal that's not too heavy but not a snack. It's simple, just fill out an order form and checkmark what kind of bagel, meats, cheeses, and spreads you wish to have in a bagel sandwich! You can even request it to be toasted too! Their bagel selection is very large--from plain, pesto, and poppy, to sweet bagels like cinnamon chip, chocolate chip, and cranberry orange! The latest bagel sandwich that I really enjoyed was a toasted onion bagel with cheddar cheese, turkey peppercorn, tomatoes, and red onion. Simply delicious! For 4 dollars more, you can make it a combo which adds on a fountain drink, chips, a pickle, and potato salad I believe. Blazing Bagels is situated right on 108th, and is an ideal spot to buy lunch because of their quickness and location! I definitely will come back!

This location does not produce/boil/bake their own bagels. They receive them from another location every day. I find their bagels to be consistently OK. There's nothing about them that keeps me craving for them unfortunately. After finding out my hotel has fresh croissants in the morning I rarely stop in for a morning bagel. Their bagel sandwiches for lunch are pretty good though. No reservations against coming back here occasionally.

Good stuff. I like going here before I have to catch my bus. I like getting the plain bagel with chive cream cheese (at least that's what I think I get). Not as great as Noah's, but there's a better selection of choices. Makes for a tasty fast snack.

Open at 6 AM! With a location directly across from the Bellevue Transit Center, this is a great option for a quick bagel and a schmear to go. Thank goodness for actual bagel places, I can get my egg bagel fix when the mood strikes (none being available in the supermarkets out here...) Not to say just stay with an egg bagel (even though they are my favorite). They have a ton of different types (which you can have made into bagel sandwiches), as well as many kinds of cream cheese. The price is as good as the quality, which is to say... good.

Far as bagel shops go, this one's pretty good. What you need to know: - It's SMALL--do not bring a large group here or you'll be guaranteed to flood the place - Outside seating available - This location (it's part of a chain) does not make their bagels on-site - They can toast your bagel & put the cream cheese on if you ask them to - Vitamin Water sold here - Bagels w/cream cheese sold here along with a variety of bagel sandwiches - A pizza bagel w/garlic & herb cream cheese ran me $4.13. - Dill pickles sold here =) Reason my 3-star changed to a 4: The staff are extremely nice & willing to put up with the morbid ignorance of someone who's never been there & is confused by the menu.

Nice bagel selection: French Toast, Snickerdoodle, Cinnamon Chip, Sun-dried tomato, etc. They're a denser kind of bagel. I ordered a sandwich and, thankfully, was eating it there because they forgot to put cream cheese on it and I would have been really annoyed had I taken it back to the office. I suggest also offering bean sprouts for the bagel sandwiches; seems like a standard to me. Good prices and convenient location for people working in downtown Bellevue.

Love this place. Only comment is that sometimes the bagels aren't fresh and then it will ruin your sandwich. That happened to me twice. I guess it's not as good as the Redmond location? Anyways maybe next time I'll ask what's for whats fresh.

Good stuff. I was wondering where whole foods gets their bagels from, and this is the place. I highly recommend all east coasters check this place out, and while not the same, this is the closest you will find to a NY style bagel out here.

I stopped in early this morning because a co-worker had told me that they carried PEPSI products and I really wanted a PEPSI! I walked in and I was greeted by a very nice young man at the register immediately, even though he was helping someone else, so far so good. He wrapped up helping that customer and when it was my turn I had no idea what I was doing, besides getting a PEPSI. I was looking at the pastries and decided to get a lemon bar, then I asked if they made breakfast sandwiches, he said that they do and went over every one of them and what they have on them with me. He, again, was very polite and helpful! I then saw that they have Pastrami! I asked of the Pastrami was any good and he told me where they buy it from and how often they get it in! Sold! He advised me which size I probably wanted because I only saw one and evidently that size is HUGE! I was very thankful for his explaining that as that size would have taken me a week to eat! So, I ended up with a tasty Pastrami sandwich (Yes! It was VERY good!), a lovely lemon bar (Yummy!) and two PEPSI's (one fountain, which was mixed proportionately) and one bottled for later. While I was waiting for my food, which took less than three minutes, I noticed that there was a man with two little girls there and that one of the little girls was watching me. The little girls were very well behaved and after I finished getting my fountain drink the man came over and got the little girl that was watching me some water. I asked the guy at the register how much the apple juice was and I bought one and gave it to the little girl. The man said, "Thank you! Honey tell the lady Thank you." It is nice when you can do something for someone else! My food was finished, like I said, in under three minutes, for a hot sandwich. I got my food and was on my way with "Good Byes" for ALL the store employees! Wonderful experience! I will definitely be going back!

It's gotten to the point where I come here quite frequently... it has a lot of things going for it... it's right next to the transit center, it's quick, and it's delicious. I don't opt for the sandwiches due to the price tag alone -- but damn, is a simple bagel with cream cheese good. I love getting a jalapeno pepperjack bagel toasted with jalapeno cream cheese. It's just the right amount of flavor, even though the spice is lacking [hey, it's only jalapeno...]. I'm definitely a fan to the point I choose Blazing Bagels every time I crave a savory snack in the vicinity of downtown Bellevue.

Good bagels, good cream cheese, good service, great location! I've been here countless times and there's ONE thing that disappoints me. I always order the jalepeno bagel, toasted with jalapeno cream cheese. Dont get me wrong, it's tasty but they need to toast it for 15 seconds longer! it's never quite hot enough.

Build your own Sandwiches on their wide variety of bagel flavors. Jalapeno cheddar bagel is spicey and yummy, had it on a sammy with turkey lettuce tomato and avocado. Can't wait to try the All beef hot dog wrapped in a cheesy bagel! They also have lots of sweet desserts to finish the meal. I tried a giant chocolate chip cookie, who doesn't love a classic chocolate chip cookie?

Former Brooklynite obsessed with bagels on consistant search for a decent one in Seattle. After searching high & low, I found Blazing Bagels. I drove to Redmond to check it out and can say "hooray". The best I've tasted in the Seattle area. And "not bad" by bagel standards, meaning, they could exist in NYC. (That may not sound like a high compliment, but it is!) The Bellevue & SODO locations get their bagels delivered from the Redmond located where they are baked. It still works and they hold their freshness. I recommend them with glee.

I was pretty happy with this place. A bit pricey, but everything in downtown Bellevue is. I ordered their special of french dip and really liked it. Nice bread and tender roast beef. It was quite a meal with tasty au jus. Again, a bit pricey, but will definitely go back for more on occasion.

Visited Bellevue store for first time today. Have been to Redmond twice before. Three strikes and you're out. Three trips, three sets of stale bagels. Never going here again.

This place has the best drip coffee in the area. That's with 2 Starbucks and a Specialty's within 100 feet. The coffee always tastes fresh like they actually clean the urns but it's not burnt tasting like Starbucks. Bagels are really good - sesame is my favorite. Only been there for bfast but have heard nothing but great things about their sandwiches.
