I went there for HH on Saturday afternoon. The entire place is quiet and parking is easy. Ambiance is very different than typical Bellevue mid-range to high end establishments. The drinks menu is quite steep for HH price. $10 for a glass of red wine is most expensive HH drink I ever had in DT Bellevue. For the food, I ordered: 1/2 doze WA oyster-fresh, nicely presented and $1.5/ea is reasonable price for HH. Green Salad-the lettuce is fresh, but the sherry vinaigrette is an issue. The one covered the salad was salty while the dressing on the bottom is too sour. Chicken wing: I am surprised that they came with tips (most places don't as patrons don't like it here). The plating is cute however all the flavor came from the very intense topping sauce on the wings only. For some reasons the wings wasn't coasted evenly with that sauce: so some bites of the wings were entirely flavorless (just crispy) while others bites were full of strong salty sauce. Overall my entire experience there is like being in the cooking show `Chopped'. Everyone and everything there looks pro except the taste.

I had an amazing experience in March during my first visit to 99 park and I was thrilled to return for a surprise date last week. Both the service and food is exquisite. I recommend the Brussels Sprouts (sadly, seasonal) and the halibut. Tried the donuts this time and they were to die for!

We went for dinner Sunday 7 pm . Restaurant was half empty but we waited an hour for beet salad and seared tuna . ? The waitress was super slow as well . Took her 15 mins to get CC and bring it back and by 9 pm it was almost empty. Beet salad was so heavily soaked in vinegar - I could not tell if it is beet or potato or carrots ... one can taste vinegar only. Yes, it was a small dish too - so why $14 for beet appetizer is a mystery as well . the portions pretty small at this place for the price and simple ambience.

I really like this place, especially at happy hour when the prices are less insane. To start with, the patio is really lovely, with just enough shade and comfortable couches. The inside is a bit less great, but nice enough. The drinks are good and I've yet to have a single meal that is less than amazing. Also, my servers have been universally super friendly.

Bottom line: new and "trendy", this place is a good example as to why Bellevue is still sub par compared to its Seattle counterpart when it comes to food. First and foremost - they have the European thing going on with their water. When asked "Sparkling or Still" say TAP otherwise you will pay $6 for a bottle of water that you could buy at the store for $2. We ordered the kale salad as a small plate - it was small pieces of kale (understandable) but the dressing tasted like mayonnaise even though it was supposed to be miso. For the large plates we ordered the roast chicken and chicken tikka masala. The roast chicken was moist and had very good carrots, but not much else for $21. The masala was NOT masala - it was a cinnamon stew with huge lima beans and strange chewy chicken bits mixed with the slow cooked meat. There were two of us and the two large plates and one shared small was not enough to fill us up. Do not plan on going back, there are much better (nicer, tastier) options in Bellevue for the price.

I was so jazzed that I got to have one of my company offsite dinners here last week. We got the restaurant all to ourselves - so please note that this review is for a private dining experience. I walked in and was impressed by how gorgeous the restaurant was. The flow from inside to the outside patio was a natural transition; the bar was wide and inviting with plenty of seating for a front-show stage to the talented bartenders making cocktail magic and everything about the restaurant seemed like an intimate dining experience. We didn't order off of the menu, but I presume most of the small plates (if not all) that we had are available on the regular menu. It was great because all of the plates were tray passed by friendly and attentive servers, so we just got to sit back, relax, enjoy conversation and have food brought to us. Here's a rundown of what I had to eat, ranked by what I enjoyed most: - potato salad bites on individual potato chips - beef skewer - green bean tempura w/dipping sauce - beef slider - macarons - beet salad And to drink, I had a fabulous Old Fashioned followed by a Manhattan. Since I live a couple blocks away, I will definitely be back for a cocktail and to check out the dinner menu. Welcome to the 'hood 99 Park!

Odd experience here. The outside patio was nice and the HH wine was delightful. Food was small portions and ok. Cheese plate was laughable. Like 1 bite of each cheese. Really? Would have been 3 stars but our waitress completely lost interest in our table after we ordered our apps. Even though we said we planned on staying for dinner. So my husband ended up paying the hostess, because our server was MIA. I might go back for the nice patio.

Went here when they first opened and did not enjoy the restaurant at all. My daughter talked us into going back tonight and we had a fabulous time. Great service, lots of good food (papaya salad, cheeses with plenty of bread/crackers, tempura, salmon, pork belly tacos (awesome), fried rice with kimchi veggies, 2 rounds of drinks, dessert), loud but pleasant atmosphere (sat inside, rain threatened but didn't occur). Our dinner was about $200 without tip,

You know when you meet someone and you know you're destined to be friends because of how much you have in common? Me and 99 Park are like that, simply because we have the same taste in dining room tables (Shoutout to Plank and Grain). I am always skeptical of Bellevue restaurants, but my foodie coworker was raving about their happy hour and he is rarely ever wrong. I spent the day with my girlfriend and we went for lunch. It was my lucky day because I found parking, and we were seated promptly on the patio. We started off with glasses of sparkling wine and decided on the kale salad, the papaya salad, the truffled mac and cheese, and some salmon pate toasts. The salads were by far the best...the papaya salad was tangy with a good amount of shrimp, the kale salad was light and crunchy with the radishes and snap peas. The truffled mac and cheese wasn't as "truffle-y" as I wanted it to be and the orecchiette pasta was a touch too al dente. The salmon pate toasts were good, but almost were too rich. Some more red onion or lemon would have been great to bring a touch of spiciness or acid to it. We got some donuts to finish off. I thought they were good, but I think RN74's beignets are still my favorite high end donut. I will try the hibiscus dragon fruit panna cotta next time. Service was good, but if there had been a bigger crowd, I could see how it could get slow. I think 99 Park has huge potential to be a five star and I am looking forward to having an another option for fine dining in the Seattle area...and an awesome happy hour to boot. Keep up the great work!

I really want this place to thrive, as it's the best in bellevue in terms of innovative cuisine that doesn't feel all Eastsidey. Their flavor combos are on-point, and their menu is versatile enough to accomodate special diets as well as meat-and-potatoes types. I especially like what they're doing with seafood, but the land proteins are also solid.

99 Park has a relax hip vibe with beautiful customers. My friends and I went there for late night dessert. We had Doughnuts with earl grey whipped cream, creamsicle creme fraiche with green tea cake crumbs and some chocolate dish which I did not eat. The doughnut was not Tom Douglas'. I was very disappointed with their dense and somewhat uncooked center. The earl grey side was delicious. The creamsicle was good but the green tea cake crumb on top was totally unnecessary. Their fusion dinner menu looks intriguing. I will go back to try their regular food.

This was my first time coming to 99 park, I was always looking forward to trying this place out. My experience was not as I hoped. Initially when you walk in the ambiance cool and modern. The first guy who greeted us was very friendly, we requested outside seating but after only two minutes we realized it's a little too cold so we came back in for seating inside. The women who was inside was not so friendly, even some what rude when she made it seem like there were no places for two people to sit since she had a party of 40 coming, but when looking around their entire back room was empty so I assumed that was what they were holding for the party , but there were at least three different tables available near the bar area she suggested we sit up at the bar which did not seem appealing since we came there for dinner. I walk towards two tables that were open, one of them had four seats and the other had two, it was a higher standing table which is not as comfortable. She suggested that we go to the higher table and I did not argue with her as I assume that maybe the table for four is being held for the huge party. After about 10 minutes there was a couple that came in who got the table for four. I was not at any point upset about the table situation but just kind of confused as to why she made it seem like there was no where for us to sit but as people where walking in they were not given any trouble. I was still looking forward to trying the food as it looked amazing as it was being brought past our table. We ordered a few different things out of the happy hour menu, The mac & cheese was amazing I would definitely order that again if I ever decide to come back here, The papaya green salad was also great, The spicy chicken wings or not so exceptional I was quite disappointed and couldn't even finish what was there, chicken tikka masala was absolutely terrible my guest and I Took two bites and asked the waitress if we could order a hamburger to split. To give you an explanation on the chicken tikka masala it just had absolutely no flavor and the bread was under cooked . It seemed as though they had someone there to observe the food before presenting it to any of the tables but the bread was folded up in a way that you couldn't tell until we were starting to eat it. The chicken tikka masala was also $21 so I was quite disappointed to pay that much for something so terrible. Our waitress seemed friendly at first but towards the end she was seemingly uninterested in our table. I would say overall I had high hopes for this place maybe my guest and I had an unpleasant experience which maybe we were unlucky or came at a bad time but I would probably unfortunately never return to this restaurant.

An excellent addition to the Bellevue restaurant scene. Pleasant service. Place to go with special friends for top notch cocktails and chef prepared food. The half roasted chicken is the best roasted chicken dish in Bellevue. Order enough chicken so everyone in your party can cut a piece off and spoon the sauce and the small vegetables over it. The fried rice with kimchi vegetables had a nice spice and crunch to it. Mussels and Clams were excellent. Poke ok. Perfect grilled squid. Kale salad is like a fancy side of cole slaw - delicious but not worth the price. Large hamburger plates for big eaters.

Best service I've had in a long time! Went here for late night happy hour. The decor is a rustic look. Food has Asian influences. Bar is well stocked. Patio will be my go to in the summer. Middle of Bellevue. This is the ideal restaurant if I were to open a restaurant myself! The wings had a goochujang sauce to it and was very tasty, sweet and a little spicy. The Mac and cheese was gourmet and savory. Only thing I thought was a little different was their kalbi tacos. Less of a sweet kalbi taste and more of a braised beef taste. This was still delicious none the less. This will be my summer hang out as their patio looks like a great place to relax over the war summer with Bellevue park as your back drop.

Had dinner tonight... Positives: - nice ambiance. Very clean and contemporary feel. You can see the kitchen from any part of the restaurant. - The small plates were mostly good. The veggie tempura was mostly mushrooms (I love mushrooms) and cauliflower. Beet salad was good. The bread with honey butter was average. The banh mi sliders were a bit fatty but great flavor. The green papaya salad with shrimp was ok as the shrimp were transluscent and reminded me of "frozen farmed shrimp" - We didn't have drinks and overall the bill was reasonable for 2 people Negatives: - While the dishes independently were good, they didn't seem like they matched well together. The asian themed foods did not go well with the bread. I suggest maybe doing a naan or roti with peanut dipping sauce. Overall, a good place and if I were invited to a dinner there again, I would happily go.

I love this place. A little hard to find parking on busy nights but if you go on the off time it's just fine. Atmosphere is intimate and inviting with great decor. Staff are very pleasant. We keep Coming back for the great food! I love the quality of ingredients that the chef uses and the menu has an array of eclectic items. My favorites have to be the beet salad- fresh, light, and very well balanced with hazelnuts and goat cheese. Grilled octopus- so tender and has such a wonderful char to it. A little heat and texture contrast with the chick peas. They had a special one night that was braised short rib with a demi glaze over risotto (or maybe it was polenta) that rocked my world. That dish was amazing. Last, the desserts are also equally amazing- if I go I have to get the lemon ricotta cheesecake- it's topped with fig, pomegranate, and candied ginger...yum!

Great restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the view of the park and good doors. I recommend the hanger steak and eggs.

They have a nice patio sitting. Unfortunately due to their location they have to close early. They have a good menu great wine list and awesome staff. Their manager is so personable and talk to each guest personally. We were three Saturday nite and he made our experience very good. Wish they would open till later. It would be a great place to host office happy hours or events outside. Very clean and presentable. Would recommend this place to friend. Parking sucks during busy times but it is manageable.

Our table of 4 spent about $400 here one Saturday night. We preferred the small plate selection over the large plates. Small: Kale salad, oysters, papaya salad, octopus salad. Our entrees were good but didn't really wow us the way the Small plates did - lamb, chicken and seafood. The service was clunky - awkward interactions with our servers. they seemed to still be practicing their lines and not as polished as I would expect. Our server steered us wrong on plate sizing. He said the small plates were very small, single serving. When in fact we ordered 4 of them and shared them with one another with 2nds and 3rds for each of us. I don't know why he told us that. The "large" plates were normal dinner size, and they also could be shared. Had we known this we probably would have ordered a bit less... The desserts were also well done - pot de crème was my favorite. I'll definitely be back!

I had great expectations for 99 Park -- the outside dining has a great view of the Downtown Park and it's off the main drag. But...Despite the food being delish (we had the divine pork chop, excellent mussels and clams in a coconut-curry broth, beets and wonderful carrots), the hostesses (there were two) need lessons in customer relations. Seriously. I made reservations on Monday for the next night, for three, via Open Table and requested an outside table (in this weather, of course!). Just to be sure, I called around 1:30 the next afternoon and reiterated my request for an outside table for that evening. Our reservation was for 6:30. The three of us arrived but were informed that there were no outside tables, although clearly there were. When we pointed that out, we were informed that a customer wanted to bring a dog and could only be seated outside so we were out of luck. WTF??? No matter how we tried to point out that we had reservations two days in advance, that there were two outside tables (pushed together) empty, we were rebuffed and, frankly, dissed. We finally ate at the outside bar table, shared with another couple. When the Man and Dog arrived, they were seated and soon were joined by several other people. It became clear that they were friends of the manager/hostesses/whomever, or had greased someone's palm. Bottom line: Food good, private-club vibe (and not in a good way). We won't be back.

This by far was some of the best service I've ever experienced! Every. Single. Wait-staff. Was. Amazing!!! All the way down to the manager and the bus boy! And above that... the food was amazing. We went here for Seattle restaurant week, sometimes when I partake in these events I get the feeling of "turn and burn" while at the table (basically they want me in and out as they aren't making the profit they could be with "regular" guests). I never once got this feeling here! Definitely will be back. They also looked like they had a great happy hour menu! Keep it up!!!

I really like the concept of 99 Park but left disappointed. I dig the building and atmosphere, which is important for a restaurant of this type. It feels upper scale but unpretentious. As much as I like the atmosphere...I didn't come here for an Atmosphere Burger. That is where 99 Park falls short. The waitress brought us the wrong drinks. The correct drinks took nearly 15 more min to arrive. We order our apps and entrees around 7:45, apps arrive at about 8:00...then the long wait begins. We didn't receive our entrees until 9:00. An hour to cook up a few burgers and clams is ridiculous. The manager in usual manager fashion came by at about 8:55 to let us know they are plating our food. Unapologetic and disinterested. So service and general hospitality suck. The food was below average in taste and portion and overpriced. If you put a $20 burger on the menu, it should be epic. It was anything but. The rest of the food followed the same theme. We capped off the dinner with a dessert that looked like a 5 year old made it. Look through some of the photos...you'll find it! I hope you make it 99 Park!

Excellent food and service.. Showed up a little early and they still let us in to eat so we had the whole place to ourselves. We brought our own bottle and they corked it for us and the waiter even joined ISO r a taste.. He liked it so much he added us to the VIP list :-) all the meals where excellent we tried lamb, mac n cheese, burger fried rice, chicken and some beef pruschetta. Well done 99park

My new fave place! The bar feels like you are in NY. Bartenders are nice, hostesses are adorable and super friendly, everyone is chill. The food is super eclectic so be prepared, but it's yum! You have to try the fried grits, I crave them!

I didn't have dinner here- just went for drinks and dessert. Sat at the bar and was served by friendly bartenders, good cocktails, and AMAZING dessert. A couple girlfriends and I shared the chocolate gelato and the donuts with earl grey ice cream. Both were rich and decadent. I especially loved the ambiance of the place. Love the minimalism, simplicity and sophistication of this place. Industrial and modern, yet inviting and comfortable and cozy. I will be back if I'm in Bellevue for dinner next time.

Might have found a new favorite place for lunch in downtown Bellevue. First, got to sit outside on a sunny Seattle day. Enjoyed the pleasant service -- our server had insightful responses that helped guide our order. Lovely decor/setting. Kicked off with a stiff/delicious Old Fashioned. Super tasty Avocado Toast to start. Over-the-top delicious Short Rib Tacos. And flavorful Charred Brussels Sprouts on the side. With a House-Made Donut to finish. Every bit very very good. Plus, there were tons of menu items I wanted to order but will have to wait on until next time (the mark of a great place). Thank you for bringing this kind of dining experience to Bellevue!

Yay! Bellevue is now more than a restaurant-chain-ridden burb! This place reminds me of my NYC home. Yes, at times it was quite loud last night, but it's new and it was Friday night. That may settle down a bit. But I hope the quality of the food doesn't change. It was delish! The chilled pea soup with crab was the perfect foil for the heat of the expertly seared ahi. And the 'fudgesicle' dessert was a rich-but-not-overly-so finishing touch. The wait staff was friendly and attentive and Charles, the manager, was professional and charming. He said plans for a Happy Hour are in the works. I will definitely be returning.

A fantastic edition to the East Side dining scene - which is in need of more local places like 99 Park. I live in Downtown Bellevue, but mostly dine out in Seattle. This place will save me a few trips. It's hard to believe 99 Park has only been open a couple of weeks. So far I've been here for two happy hours and one full dinner. All 3 experiences have been outstanding. You'd never know the restaurant was so new given the service is so well executed - friendly, customer focused, attentive but not overly obtrusive. And then there is this food. Truly outstanding. The beet salad was remarkable - tasted as if they had been picked that day. The mad hatter chicken was flavorful and juicy - perfectly cooked. The Waygu Beef was bursting with flavor. The other selections of appetizers and salads I had were all prepared and presented well - and above all - fresh. There is clearly an emphasis on quality ingredients. The vibe is trendy but relaxed. You could show up in a blazer or a t-shirt and feel comfortable either way. The crowd skewed younger (for Bellevue) and most people seemed to range in age from late 20's to late 40's. It's both rustic and upscale - minimalist décor, muted color scheme, and a liberal use of what appeared to be salvaged wood for both the tables and booth dividers. It's hard to believe that just a few months ago this building had been vacant for over 5 years and was near tear-down status - a remarkable transformation. So why not 5 stars? The noise level is deafening! Like so many new restaurants, it's all hard surfaces. No table cloths, drapes or carpet to dampen the sound level. I like a lively atmosphere - but the decibel level needs to come down a notch or two. There are plenty of ways to fix this - and even a niche industry that provides creative solutions to such problems. I hope they focus on it - because although I loved this place and will be back again, I also could not wait to leave after 2 hours of shouting at my dinner partner for conversation. Great job 99 Park! So happy you are here!

Pretty neat place considering what was there before, an old mechanic shop if I recall. But it felt like the rebuilding and rising real estate cost impacted food prices. I'll visit again but from the full course I experienced it was okay seafood (tuna plate and halibut I had). Place also was suprisingly empty even though it was only ten pm and they open till 2am. Will update this review again some day some day Sunday.

The boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and was not disappointed! Located right across from Bellevue park, the restaurant has this rustic yet modern feel to it that I enjoyed. Our waiter Chris was very friendly and super helpful with helping us to decide what to order. I had wanted some sort of lemonade and he went out of his way to get some blackberries to make me a blackberry lemonade which was yummy! The food was also very good. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the salmon poke and grilled octopus. My halibut was perfectly cooked and the flavors in the dish didn't overpower the fish itself. The boyfriend had the chicken which we thought was a little too salty but overall good. The donuts were amazing! It came with lemon custard and a side of earl grey whip cream which was so so good! Overall dinner and the service was great. Definitely would be back

I want to give you 3.5 stars, but since I don't have that option, I'll round up. The acoustics in the place are pretty bad. We could barely hear each other over all the other conversations and the servers have to bend down and lean in to hear your order. Food was hit or miss. I guess every dish had something about it that was good, but also had something that seemed questionable. Steak tartare - good but served with rye crackers that overwhelmed the steak flavors a bit. Vegetable tempura - amazing batter such a good crunch on it, but fish sauce for a tempura dip? - not good, too salty. Change the dip and I would order again. Special of the night duck confit - strange asian fusion and too salty, was that from soy sauce in the marinade? Burger and fries - no complaints from the small taste I had. Donuts with lemon sauce - tasty and piping hot from the fryer. Good way to end the meal.

Fantastic food at happy hour and good drinks. Love the happy hour for such long hours . Great service !! Beef skewers, kale salad, tacos , oysters were some of the items we tried. It's only been open for a few months so not crazy to get in yet . But once summer rolls around it's going to get noticed.

I ate here about 4 weeks after they opened, and then again tonight. The difference was night and day! The service tonight was exceptional...our server (Josh) had a great understanding of the food and good knowledge of wine. Knew his limits on wine and brought in the GM who knows wine quite well. The beef tataki was amazing. The staff, GM, and chef are all great to talk with and definitely appreciate feedback. The one thing I would suggest that they improve is the charcuterie plate. Its good, but needs a little something else for the cost. Maybe some in-house made pate or foie gras. Again, night and day difference over the last few months. I would definitely go back without any hesitation now. Great atmosphere, great food, and great staff!!

Sunny Bellevue afternoon. Girls night out. 6 friends arrive at 4:30 to enjoy happy hour on the patio. Stop! First the hostess says that they are getting ready for dinner which opens at 5 so happy hour will be in the small, dark bar. On a sunny day? We ask to speak to the manager who also does not accommodate. The deck is empty. No one is there. One table is reserved for dinner. We leave and have a wonderful time eating and drinking at 520 Bar & Grill outside. At the end of our evening, we return to 99 Park for coffee and drinks on the patio. Ask to speak to the manager to express our disappointment and to understand their policy about outdoor seating. Again, no offer from this guy who's been on the job a couple of months to rectify the situation. Server brings lukewarm coffee. Overall just surprisingly bad. There are too many other good / great choices for restaurants/bars in the area to EVER return to this place. One star is too many!

I agree with Mark Y. Overpriced. and self-impressed. Service was slow - given the incredibly high ratio of staff to customers (1/2) - hard to understand.,. Did an Amazon thing- claimed 3 courses and wine and in actuality 2/3 courses were shared and all of wine was half pours - really? for extra purchases - $13 glass for wine hmpph..and slight 6 oz pours too (10/glass for 39$ bottles and 13/glass for $50 bottles) - quite high I am in the wine business and I waited tables at fine restaurants for 3 years.

I was excited to see a new non-chain restaurant in Bellevue and looked forward to trying it out. I was sorely disappointed. The service was average, the restaurant was incredibly loud, and the food was overpriced and just not good. We ordered the pretzel rolls and for $4 were presented with 3 airy, very salty, very small rolls. At any comparable restaurant the bread would have been complimentary. There was absolutely nothing special about it. Our marinated thai chicken salads at $15 were on the small side, the bits of chicken were greasy and tasteless and the salad was mostly cabbage with a very ordinary dressing. Felt like we were eating a deli salad from a low-end supermarket. All in all, a very disappointing experience. I wrote a note directly to the restaurant but received absolutely no response so I will not be going there again.

Happy to have this new restaurant in Bellevue. To make it short, a lot of people watching but much more people looking for being watched. Service still needs more training, some disorganization about who's responsible and what for; in general, food is good but definitely small portions (and I´m not talking about regular portions, these portions were really SMALL) and too much salt on them. Needs work but I hope they´re in the right direction. I´ll come back in a couple of months to check it out again.

Yeah 99 Park for being sensitive to food allergies! This is a great restaurant if you have celiac or gluten allergies. The chef gets it! They have a dedicated deep fryer and use rice flour only. I can feel confident eating their Belgian Frites and Vegetable Tempura without fear of cross-contamination. The chef makes the rounds and the wait staff remembers faces and treats you well. 99 Park is our "go to"place for a special night out. The service is wonderful, and the food is even better! Try the dragonfruit pannacotta with coconut crumble - yum!

This place has good food, and it is fun to sit outside when it's warm out. A bit on the pricey though. The cheese plate came with 3 types of cheese, a small pile of different types of crackers, a few almonds and huckleberry compote. The sweet compote was great with the salty cheese. Two people could split this and feel satisfied, unless you just want a couple bites. The kale salad was light and a nice choice for a warm evening. It included thinly sliced radish, snap peas and croutons with a creamy miso dressing and maybe some pine nuts (if I'm remembering correctly). It wasn't super exciting, but I was happy enough. I had a few bites of the kimchi fried rice with a soft egg and the flavor was really tasty! I do prefer brown rice, but still enjoyed trying this dish. The grilled asparagus with brown butter miso hollandaise and cured egg yolk was flavorful too. (We asked to leave the fish eggs off.) The asparagus itself was a little on the thin side... very thin actually, but not bad. Last but not least the French fries with house aioli were highly addictive. The only thing that could have been improved here was the aioli. It would have been nice if the dipping sauce had a bit more flavor.

I really must say that it takes a lot to impress me when dining out, and this place is really impressive! The GM Ben, was very pleasant and seated us immediately. His welcoming demeanour will solidly ensure that I will be a returning customer. Ben is a very friendly and well educated sommelier, and gave us great suggestions and recommendations. The bartender Chris was very friendly and attentive to our needs. He even concocted a very special, signature beverage for my date that was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Seared albacore tuna, cooked to perfection. The quinoa was very delicious as well. See you soon, 99 Park!

Delicious! A little hard to find (no lit signage). Ben was great in making wine suggestions and our bartender Josh was fun and personable all while providing excellent service. The octopus was great along with there happy hour items. Definitely will return.

These stars are for the amazing cocktails and good dessert. I tried the Ronin and the Old Fashioned and they were both amazing. The food, aside for the lemon cheesecake dessert, was a major disappointment. Most of it was so salty as to be nearly inedible. The fried grits were a big miss. The frites tasted mostly of the oil which had started to go off. My advice is to come here for drinks and dessert - eat elsewhere.

Good food. The apple pie let us down with the crust but delicious flavored all the same. Sous vide pork chop was wonderful; lamb tangible excellent; and was a fun, relaxed place to dine and laugh. Most food was gluten free, which was a nice change. The fresh doughnuts with passionfruit creme were delicious with an espresso. I would come here again. Definitely.

I wanted to like this place. In fact, I wanted to like this place so much, I practically dragged my husband here, twice. The first time, we showed up on Saturday at 1 or so, well within the hours both Yelp and their website showed they were open (I double checked their site because Yelp is wrong sometimes) but they were closed... We looked past this since they are a new restaurant and vowed to come back. Tonight, we decided to try again. I made reservations for 7pm via yelp, and received both an email and a text message confirming our reservation. We arrived at 10 to 7, and unfortunately, due to the reservation system they just "fired," they didn't have our reservation. After not one but two awkward waits, they told us they were fully booked but could maybe...probably...almost definitely get us accommodated. Randomly they then grabbed menus and sat us. After sharing the specials, the host added that the table we were at was booked at 8:30, so "as long as we could be done by then" all was well. Awkward. But we definitely didn't plan on lingering the night away, so fine. Decor: looks unfinished. No art, bad acoustics. Beautiful wood and real candles. It's passable but lacking details to make it truly comfy. Service: aside from the awkward beginning, our server took about 7 minutes to greet us, long enough that we were ready to order both a bottle of wine and 5 small plates. He did apologize though, and was pretty great after that. Food: I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed here. We ordered the octopus, seared tuna, pork belly bahn mi, fried rice and burrata. They were out of burrata (fyi, this was at 7pm on Saturday) so we settled on the carrots instead. The food came out like this: Pork belly bahn mi (5 minutes or less): delicious. Two tiny slider sized sandwiches, delicious tender pork belly, yummy miso sesame sauce, pickled daikon & carrots, meltingly soft buns. 5 stars. Fried rice (8 minutes after ordering): perfectly timed after we finished the bahn me. Slightly crispy, chewy rice, tasty hunks of pastrami (although very inconsistent in size), very mild sauerkraut with a lot of crunch and topped with a slightly undercooked poached egg. Very different, but great. 4 stars. Then, we waited. About 15 minutes. Not an unacceptable amount of time, but long compared to the first two. Then, all three of the remaining dishes were delivered together. Just, odd. But, by then it was 8pm so we needed to get moving. Carrots: perfectly roasted, interesting flavor profile with the cotija cheese, shallots, cilantro & mole. But, the mole sauce was thick, syrupy and BURNT! Yuck. I scraped sauce off the carrots and it was good. 3 stars. Tuna: ugh I wanted to like this but I couldn't. The tuna was way over cooked, rubbery, and tasteless. The quinoa accompaniment was interesting but it just didn't work. There was also a super spicy aioli that overtook the entire dish, and the giant pea shoots that weren't dressed or chopped looked so unappetizing we didn't even eat them (and I like pea shoots). 2.5 stars. Octopus: this was strange and the dish was just not composed. The octopus was cooked well with a slight char and tender inside. It didn't have much flavor or seasoning, though. From there, things got weird. It sat on a bed of extremely creamy potato salad, cilantro, and potato chips with a balsamic reduction. If you are thinking that sounds weird, well, it was. I love potatoes and potato salad, and separately the items in this dish were tasty but from a full dish perspective, this is just not right. 3 stars. It took until 8:15 to get through all this. Overall, I would probably not return. The food is just not there, especially for the price.

We were ready to leave a 4-5 star review until the end of service. Fun atmosphere, yummy food, refreshing drinks, etc. We were all pretty full and declined dessert, but a friend did mention that we were there celebrating a birthday. A great donut dessert with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate showed up. It was yummy! BUT, the bill came and the $10.50 dessert was on the tab. A friend actually mentioned thanks for the dessert, but we were surprised to see it on the bill since no one had ordered it. His response was that he thought someone had ordered the dessert. A "birthday" was mentioned, but we did not specifically order anything. This is the only restaurant I can think of where you pay for a dessert on your birthday. We ended up paying the tab in it's entirety. I'd go back for apps and drinks maybe on the patio, but being in the hospitality industry myself, it was a bummer no effort was made to alter the tab

I would recommend checking it out. I've been a total of 4 times. The inside is very modern and nicely decorated. Great vibe for grabbing drinks or having a nice dinner. It is a higher priced restaurant, but the atmosphere is much better than most of the chain restaurants you will find in the Downtown Bellevue area. Overall, the Old Bellevue area has a superb restaurant scene. Food was really good from my experience. Portions are definitely smaller. Service was fine. The outdoor patio has great potential for the summer time. Right across the street from the Downtown Park. Looks like they may be opening an upper deck patio as well (hopefully at least). The building looks very strange from the outside. It is dark and looks like a small office building or dentist office. For the longest time they didn't have any signs, or they were hardly visible. They finally put up a Park 99 light up sign. Seems like whoever is in charge of marketing or advertising there has no idea what they are doing. I hope this place survives in the long run, but the restaurant competition in Bellevue is dense and difficult to compete in. My suggestion is that they really make an effort to have a quality lower and upper outdoor patio area. That is something most other restaurants in the area are lacking, which they could capitalize on.

I went here 2 weeks go and I was really impressed. We ate at the bar and the bartenders were accommodating and friendly. The rest of the staff we interacted with were also really great, and the staff of a restaurant to me is almost as important as the food, and the people here were very welcoming and friendly. The food was equally excellent, everything we had was well above my expectations. (I'm very particular about food, I've eaten all over the world, and I'd have to say this restaurant would have to make it into my top 5). An added bonus, they have a great wine list. Definitely going back.

Really great place to eat and socialize. Only downside is you have to wait a bit for your food. Don't forget to order the octopus salad.

I've been here twice and been blown away by the food each time. The hostess is also extremely friendly and very accommodating when I wanted to up the number of people for our reservation. The first visit, I split the chicken with the husband at the recommendation of our server and he nailed it. It was the juiciest chicken I've ever had at a restaurant. In fact we brought my parents to the restaurant for our second trip and insisted they have the chicken (which they also loved). I would also highly recommend the fried rice. The sauerkraut is subtle and mixed with the egg it really adds to the dish. The roasted carrots were good but the mole was a bit too spicy for me so my husband finished them. We also tried the foie gras torchon which was also really good. I would highly suggest to the kitchen that they make the toast a bit more on the crunch side as our toast started to sag under the weight of the foie gras as we were eating it. The roasted beet salad is also very delicious. As for the dessert we really enjoyed the doughnuts with the early grey creme fraiche. On our second visit we also had the chocolate gelato. It was so rich and decadent, my dad loved it. A few suggestions for the restaurant: Add some more acoustic panels as the noise level can be a bit much at times. The music level was perfect this past Saturday, however, on our first visit the music was turned up too loud when there weren't that many people in the restaurant. Please also post your wine list online, I would have loved to check out the wines before our second visit to see if I would have rather ordered off your list instead of bringing our own bottle. All in all I really like this little gem on the Eastside and will definitely be back.

Great new place in old Bellevue. Love the concept of the NW food, and good choices. Starters good size, and taste for price. Recommend the beet salad and ahi tuna. Wine recommendations well done by our server. Only complaint - the place was very loud.

99 Park opened today and I swung by for a visit. Had a quick cocktail and a snack and liked what I saw. There is quite a bit of variety on the menu from foie and steak tartar to octupus, several salads, entrees including clams, a burger, chicken breast and halibut along with a handful of sides. I had them make me a drink which was Rum JM, Gifard apricots liquor, lemoncello, and Anchos Reyes. I enjoyed it and the order of mole carrots I ordered very much. The mole was unique in that it wasn't overly chocolaty and had a nice kick to it. I cant wait to go back with some friends and try more of the menu. Right now their cocktail menu is a bit traditional (all classic cocktails including the Old Buddy, Daiquiri and an Old Fashioned make up about half the menu). I look forward to them expanding beyond this in the future as they have a great liquor selection! The service and food was great. Cant wait to try more.

I was disappointed by the service at this restaurant. After we were seated at our table, we waited 30 minutes for our waitress to come over and this was after we got up out of our seats ask the to the hostess to order a bottle of wine. The waitress did not acknowledge the lack of service until the end of the evening which also was disappointing. We asked to speak to the manager and he was nice and gave us a complimentary dessert which didn't seem sincere. The food had good flavors but did not compliment each other.

We came here for my mother-in-law's birthday today on their first day open to the public. The food was excellent, wine menu was awesome, and the service we received from frank and the rest of the staff was fantastic. We will 100% be back and are so excited for a new farm to table restaurant on the east side!

I made reservations for a birthday dinner that was confirmed in email as well as with their front of house team member. When we showed up for our reservation, we were turned away as the restaurant was closed for a private corporate party. No one from 99 Park bothered to contact their patrons. Courtesy? In my case, they had my contact information to do so. There's an awesome quote from an episode of Seinfeld..."So you know how to TAKE the reservation, you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation". 99 Park management could learn a few things from that show.

What a disappointment!! We had heard such positive things....and then we went there. I will give it 5 Stars for the ambiance and the location...however it pretty much ended there. The Menu was pretty limited for the area, only one beef choice. The wine list was a little light and the same for the cocktails. The main issue I have with 99 Park is the portions, or lack thereof. Don't come hungry, don't come saying "I could eat", don't come saying "I wanna snack"...come saying I want to smell and maybe taste some food because that's all you will get. My $37 steak was maybe 4oz, though they said 5.5 (never heard of half of something so small). The frittes, fries were pretty good, though again very small portion. The appetizer was the Albacore and it was not bad but definitely not good or worth the $18 pricetag. Sadly this is an idea location but I can't eat for location alone, I will not be re-visiting, nor will the 3 people with us that night.

What a surprise! This was our first time at 99 Park. We ate our way tapas style through the "small" dishes. Everything was really yummy and unique. The Carpaccio was more like roast beef, but still yummy. The deserts and coffee drinks were delightful. Great service and easy ambiance. Rather sizable bar menu and, although not on the menu, the mocktail they created was really nice. Not too sweet. Great service too!

Visited on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was busy...and uncomfortably loud (we were sitting at an inside table.). We will be reluctant to return until we can be assured of being able to have a conversation without our ears ringing. The food was very good--once we got it. Took 10 minutes to get menus and even more time for a waiter to appear to answer questions and take our order. Our wine never showed up until we flagged down Charles, the manager, and informed him of the problem . We waited 20 or more minutes for the first course, only to be told (not by our waiter) that they had run out of said course at 7:30-early for a dinner service). Then, it magically showed up, or at least 3 of the 4 ordered. The fourth showed up when the other three were half eaten, although no one had come near the table whom we could have flagged down to inquire on the status of the order. The main courses were good but not exceptional. Given the early hype (comparing themselves to Noma and Eleven Madison), I would say they have a way to go. The final insult was a bill which was inaccurate by a factor of 3x. While I am aware that this is still the shakedown period, we are not likely to rush back until we hear that some of the problems of noise and service are resolved.

This is our second review of 99 park and the first was actually an endorsement. My husband and I have gone a bunch of times and have always enjoyed it. My husband sticks to a couple things on the menu, I like trying something different each time. This most recent visit I asked our waitress if there was anything I had to try, she made a recommendation and added that the chef was an a**hole. It was definitely kind of awkward, but I didn't think much of it and figured she just had a different sense of humor (I'm a 68 year old woman). As the meal went on it seemed like she might have been getting more and more intoxicated. By the time we got our bill, she asked in a very slurred tone how everything was. I joked everything was great even if he can be a jerk sometimes. She rolled her eyes and said "no he's an a**hole" then followed it up with an f word and a very crude and disgusting comment about the size of his genitalia and walked off. I was absolutely in shock and felt so uncomfortable. I looked at my husband and he was very upset. I urged him not to say anything to her and to pay the bill because I wanted to leave immediately. On the way out another waitress who had waited on us before said "great to see you, enjoy your night". My husband pulled her aside and asked if there was a manager he could speak with. She told him that our waitress was her manager and asked if he wanted to her to get her. He said no thanks and she apologized, clearly embarrassed. I had always enjoyed 99 park, but definitely will not be going back. I am not at all surprised to see other reviews on yelp criticizing the service/management.

Hmmm... I think it's their official grand opening so maybe things are not running smoothly yet. My biggest gripe is that they do not serve the full menu at the bar and absolutely no tables saved for walk ins. We really wanted to try an entree....Result? Losing us to have dinner and spending $60+ dollar elsewhere. (Pork belly banh mi was good though). They charged us $5 extra for banh mi but we were rushing to go somewhere else for dinner. My vesper was great but sidecar was waaaaay too sweet.

I'm rounding down, but I thought this place deserved 3.5 stars. Since it recently opened this summer, I'm sure improvements will happen. What drew me here was the use of seasonal ingredients, the decor and an outdoor seating option. Plus it's right in the Bellevue Downtown Park. I was expecting spectacular service since I assume this place is targeting the "bougie-Bellevue" crowd. The gentleman who served us our wine was great, but our server for the night was just awkward. It must have been his first night but he wasn't able to read body language at all -- when to engage in conversation with us, when to remove plates from the table etc. Our group ordered a bunch of things from their shared plates and main entrees. Like some of the other reviews stated, it was hit or miss. I don't remember any particular dish that I absolutely loved or recommend, but the presentation was beautiful. Prices are, well, Bellevue.

Overall, I was disappointed -- was expecting something exciting, and was underwhelmed. Our server was super friendly and patient, despite mis-pronouncing several menu items. Drink: I had a Harvest Moon cocktail, a mescal drink that was insanely strong. The smoky flavor of the mescal overwhelmed the other flavors that were promised, like anise. Food: Pork belly banh mi - 2 stars. The pork belly was just barely warm, and was missing that melty, crispy element to the fat that makes pork belly the star attraction that it should be. It was the first pork belly that one of our party had ever tasted, and I had to make prolific apologies and assure her that elsewhere it would be the "bacon times 100" that I had promised it would be. Vegetable tempura - 5 stars. Crispy, light, yummy vegetables. Very nice. Pastrami and sauerkraut fried rice -- 2 stars. The rice was starchy and freshly cooked, and with the poached, runny-yolked egg on top, it made me think bibimbap, not fried rice. I could barely detect the sauerkraut, which I was hoping would be a more prominent ingredient. Sablefish with bok choy -- 3 stars. I love sablefish and if it's on the menu I can't resist. Unfortunately, this was an uninspired creation paired with the most unsurprising vegetable side ever. The fish was prepared well, but no flavors on the plate made it memorable. Decor -- a big, white room with rough wood tables and floors. No art on the walls -- not sure if it's by design, but it's kind of unfinished looking.

I could give 4 stars because the manager on duty, think he is the GM, was a grub but overall pretty good service. The food on the other hand was amazing! I'm a pork belly freak and the Bahn Mi was ridiculous. Albacore tuna with quinoa, fried rice. All simply amazing. Being a small business owner myself, I know how hard it can be to do things right in your first year. when it comes to the food, these guys have done it right. I will be back to support this awesome local business...

Had a great time at 99 park having happy hour. I cant wait until its a little warmer outside and we can enjoy the outdoor seating area. Friendly bartender, great small plates, we had the cheese plate; clams and mussels it was yummy! My only two not that major of issues were uncomfortable bar seating and the inconsistent music it was on for ten minutes then off for ten minutes and we needed some get the weekend started jams! All and all, I'll be back again :-)

Went in on a whim for brunch on Sunday. Great patio and space. Server was attentive and friendly. Most importantly, it was the best pork belly and grits I've ever eaten. I'm from the South, so I've had more than my fair share of bacon and grits. But this was sublime. The pickled ramps added just the right amount of tartness/acidity. The farm fresh egg was almost as delicious. I had a bite of the reuben and it was amazing as well. Go there and order the pork belly. You won't be sorry.

Food quality and presentation was solid if not excellent. But the timing of the bar service was a challenge. The appetizers arrived long before our first round of drinks, and later, two glasses of wine took 20+ minutes from ordering to table. Still, the restaurant is pretty new, and we'll certainly be back.

I have mixed feelings about this place. A nice space and good parking access at the park sets a good starting tone. The music was super loud and we had to shout to talk. The waiter did turn it down when we asked, but it's disappointing to have to do that when you are paying high prices. I did enjoy the food and it was fun to share several small plates. I do think the prices are high for the food and drinks and while it was a fun evening out, I would choose another place next time or go someplace fancier if I want to have a more expensive evening out.

Was at 99 Park this evening, and the vibe was great. It had a very good mix of people there, and the food was amazing! I had the foie gras to start, which was amazing, then went on to try the steak, which was equally amazing! I had both with a couple of glasses of great red wine, which the wine list was full of. I finished up with some house made donuts, which I almost ordered twice because they were so good, and a great cappuccino. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I'll definitely be back!

My company catered an event here and it was wonderful. The staff was amazing. They were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the food. The place itself is great. It is open enough for an event, but still feels friendly. The food was off the charts! I would love to go back here with friends or date night and try even more of their menu. My favorites that we sampled were the Mac and Cheese and the macaroons! If you are looking for a nice location for a work event, I would highly recommend 99 Park. Thank you everyone for making the evening so enjoyable!

This place is not good at all. It's menu seems like it's just recreations of other restaurants more successful dishes. I had the sablefish which was cooked well and then had a side of greasy Asian veggies on the side with no flavor. The pork belly was AWFUL. Soggy and made me sad for the disgrace done to this delicious cut of pig!! Server was nice but didn't know how to pronounce anything on the menu. It seems like all the other 5 star reviews are oddly descripted and clearly friends of owners or workers trying to boost yelp scores!! Don't waste your moolah here.

I was pleasantly surprised last night: I had a fabulous first meal at 99 Park. I went with a large party (12 people) on a Sunday night so the restaurant was about half empty. It has an industrial feel: not a lot of "warmth" to the restaurant, they have a giant nano sliding door and a great outdoor patio space with a nice view of the park. One of the negatives is the acoustics: at time it can be hard to hear people. We had 3 people waiting on us the entire night and the GM, Charles, continually checked in with us to make sure we were having a great night and our service was on par. Our group got a little of everything; my date and I personally got smaller plates in lieu of an entree so I could taste a little of everything: oysters, foie gras (don't miss!), the kale salad, beef tartar, seared tuna and the ribs - all were unbelievably good. I had to restrain myself and only order a few small plates and not order the whole menu! The drink menu was tasty as well and their drinks are all "hand crafted". The dinner was for a friends birthday and she actually worked with the pastry chef ahead of time to create a delicious dessert option for the group: a personalized cake, little chocolate macaroons, and a heavenly piece of salted dark chocolate. The only complaint I had was the time it took for drinks to get to our table (over 15 min). That was the only snafu of the night: the wait staff was attentive, the waitress was friendly and conversational. I also found out that they have happy hour from 4-6pm so I will definitely be back to try that! Leave the kids at home and try 99 Park.. it is a GREAT and MUCH NEEDED addition to DT Bellevue!

Return visit with friends last night who hadn't been - everything we ordered was perfection. As a group we tried the salmon poke, the foie gras, and the oysters - every morsel was amazing. Our entrees ranged from sablefish to the confit chicken and we agreed, Chef Q provided the best meal we've had in Bellevue. Great server, a kind visit or two from Ben (manager), and a wonderful evening. Things have gotten smoother and it rates for us as one of the best around.

I've been to restaurants all over the world and 99 Park is one of my favorites. What's even better is that it's right down the street from my home. I love the simple elegant design and its ambiance which fosters actually talking to people instead of being glued to a TV or buried in a smart phone. The food is amazing and the drink selection is also put together very well. I highly recommend this place!

I went in on Wednesday night. I wanted to like this place so badly! Wait staff is not trained, at least Brock isn't. Took longer to get a drink than my food. Asked for a wine recommendation, and he didn't know the list at all. Very loud. The page was the best dish I had. Toast and octopus were overseared, and the creamy potatoes were overseasoned. Had the duck breast and the farro wasn't even cooked through. When I told my server the farro was uncooked, he just said. Oh, I'll let them know. I did enjoy the 'sorbit', but again, your espresso was just shit. In all, I paid around 100 for a meal that would cost me a third of that in a dozen spots in Seattle. Plain and simple, kitchen and staff doesn't know the product. I was also surprised to see how humble the decor is when 2.5 million kept being thrown around. Please keep improving, I want to come back, but would much rather patronize purple cafe at this point.

I really wanted to like this place but some of the food combinations just didn't do it for me. Waitress had practically no knowledge of the drinks or wine - made a comment on how she never tried the drink but highly recommended it. I think every waiter/waitress needs to try the drinks and food they are selling to diners. Beet salad came on large plate but half of the plate was empty - looked funny but was told it's their "asymmetrical plating". That asymmetrical plating was cool when it was first rolling out what maybe 4 or 5 years ago - chef needs to find his own voice. Also, nothing on the menu mentions that the arctic char is raw pink on the bottom - I'm all for not eating overdone fish, but please mention it on the menu or put a star by it. The burrata was awesome and the octopus was perfectly cooked - just not sure about the potato salad it was sitting on - reminded me of a picnic and not a fine dining establishment. So, all in all, they are trying - some hits but also some misses.

Extremely disappointing. My parents and I took my brother out to dinner for his birthday, and rather than going somewhere that we've been before, we thought that 99 Park would be perfect. It's new, modern, has a great outdoor space, and since the park was across the street, we would go for a walk afterwards. I made a reservation, and asked if I could drop off a gift so that the waiter could bring it after dinner. I've done this at other restaurants, and it always adds to the occasion. The hostess on the phone offered to have a sharable dessert ready to go after dinner. It was very thoughtful of her to do so. When we sat down, I noticed that there were a lot of waiters working compared to how many people were in the restaurant. It felt like we had 2-3 different guys, until one of them was our go to person. We thought we'd start with a small plate, and ordered the tuna, it came out, and it was barely enough for two to share. For dinner, we ordered the burger, duck, and two halibuts- there was a $5 up charge for adding mushrooms to the halibut. Burger looked and tasted great and was plenty. The duck was really salty, and the halibut tasted amazing but the portions were extremely small. It looked like the size of their "small plates" items, and at $27 you would expect a little more. I decided to order a side of fries since we came hungry and I was no where near full. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a 4th waiter deliver fries to a nearby table and they declined, then he went to a different table and they looked confused but accepted the fries. Our waiter came over and apologized that the fries were given to a different table. We waited an extra 10mins for those and by then, we were already done with dinner. Rather than making sure that the food went to the correct table, the waiter just winged it. As far as I'm concerned, that should never happen. Onto dessert- the waiter brings out a dessert that looks great- candle included and happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate. It turns out that it was a peach and nectarine salad. It was refreshing. I had asked to have them bring out the gift right after dessert. It was a small request, but the bill came first. After looking over the bill, they didn't bother to comp the fries, and they charged for the dessert that I didn't ask for, but that they offered to do. I had to remind the waiter to bring the gift, but at that point we just wanted to get out as fast as possible. My complaint may seem like it shouldn't have been a big deal. Had it been a regular night, fine, things happen. But when we choose a place to celebrate a family event, expectations are high because it's a memory that we'll remember. I was embarrassed that I picked the restaurant, and should have stuck to the other local ones down the street that we usually visit, and are comparable in price, good portions, and better wait staff. We gave Park 99 a try and it was not for us.

Terrible. Bad food, bad service, overpriced. It's a mess and will be closed within a year. Go to Cantinetta or Bis or somewhere else.
