There breakfast is AMAZING!!!! We went two mornings in a row just for the garlic potatoes and the blackberry jam and butter on their homemade bread. I would give it a 5 but their service is a tad slow.. And don't drink their espresso... No good.

Since there is not much to choose from in this area we went on word of mouth (no cell service to check the reviews). My chicken sandwich was inedible. The chicken was so over cooked I couldn't even cut it, let alone eat it. My husbands salmon was good although smaller portion than we have been seeing; he rated it at 3 stars. They were out of every kind of potato we ordered; we settled on fries. Left hungry and spent $50. Would not recommend.

Had the most delicious breakfast here. The toast was thick slice and fresh, sausage link was not the skinny wimpy kind but fat, cooked perfectly. My scrambled eggs.....fluffy. Probably the best breakfast I have had at a restaurant in a long while. Service was friendly and attentive. We stopped in for lunch as well and the burgers were excellent. I like the soft buns they use. When you walk in they have a cute little gift shop area and to the right is the dining area. I liked the rustic decor and the seating is nice. No booths as it is not a big place but the chairs were comfy.

We ordered a cup and bowl of beef stew. It was pretty good, but it should have more beef. We had three pieces of beef between us. It would probably be better if the beef was shredded a bit so more in every bite. The bowl of stew was served with a mini loaf of bread and some house made blackberry butter. Yum! The french fries were hot and good. The house brewed coffee was not very good, not much flavor and watered down. They do serve espresso drinks, which might have been better. The BEST part of the whole meal was the warm blackberry pie with vanilla ice cream! Super yummy! I'd recommend this place. Friendly staff. Inviting atmosphere. Good prices.

Ya know, there aren't a lot of choices along Route 706 before the MRNP entrance, and I sure don't like to be held hostage by this fact. Copper Creek Restaurant did just that to me--three times. I am over it. Pricey, understaffed and dishing up mostly mediocre food, it's shameful that the owners let a bunch of bored kids run this place. The servers don't write down the orders; therefore they screw them up. The kitchen is maddeningly slow. The tables are sticky. As another reviewer said, just go for the pie. Otherwise, bring your wallet and your patience. Better yet, go to Wild Berry Restaurant down the road and closer to the Park entrance. They serve Nepalese and American fare. And pie.

Well known for their blackberry pie but service last night was unfortunately awful. Yes we had a large group but our waitress messed up 5 orders and even forgot to bring any food to 2 people. Most of us only ordered bowls of soups and stews because the rest of the menu is pretty pricey. We had to ask them about our order 3 times! Never once did she apologize!!! Very steep prices for a tiny diner. I would just come to pick up a slice of pie.

It would be a 4 star but unfortunately our waitress was not the best. We had to wait for her to wait on us and water refills were not timely. The food is good. I had the chicken sandwich. It had mozzarella cheese, sun dried tomato, pesto, and artichoke on it. It comes on focaccia bread but I chose wheat instead. It is a wonderful sandwich although I do believe it may be canned artichoke. I am hopeful that it is pickled and not canned. The hubby had the fish and chips. He reported it was just okay. I also got a piece of blackberry pie to go. I would recommend the pie. Yummy! Had lots of blackberry and filling and a nice solid crust (meaning it didn't get soggy. Overall a neat little place with good food and phenomenal pie!

Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! The food was amazing, you can tell the cooks put a lot of detail into everything that's served. The toast was homemade, and the hash browns were delicious! Glad we stopped here!

Last month a couple friends and I took a trip up Mount Rainier to Paradise. It was great fun, great weather, but some clouds at the top of the mountain. One of my friends had been there before and mentioned Copper Creek Restaurant as we drove by, and gushed about their blackberry pie. So on the way back we stopped. I had the stew for lunch, it was a nice portion, and very tasty. The little loaves of bread they serve with it were very good and was complimented perfectly with their homemade blackberry butter. After lunch, we all ordered the blackberry pie a la mode. I am a believer! I have always loved blackberries, but I had no idea they could be made to taste like that! It's been over a month and I still imagine eating it, and want to have more. I will be back.

On our way back from a long hike on Mount Rainier, my friend and I were famished. There aren't really a lot of places to eat in the area as it's slightly remote but of what is on SR 706 E, this is one of a few diners. The parking is slightly odd as in if there is no parking directly in front you have to park across the road and run across the sometimes busy road to get to the restaurant. Anyway, the restaurant is really cute inside. When you enter, you come directly into the gift shop which has some touristy items, a selection of wines and some hand-crafted artisan wares. It's really actually quite different than a normal "tourist gift shop". Once we were seated at a table as they also have seats at the bar, the very nice & young waitress took our order. The composition of the restaurant is just very outdoorsman and reminiscent of a hunter's lodge or something a lumberjack or woodsman would craft. All the natural wood everywhere gives the place a nice ambience as does the deer antler chandelier in the main dining room. It's very rustic and hometown dinner feeling. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and my friend got the caprese chicken. We probably should have eaten this before we went up the mountain as we didn't carb up so we were feeling a little weak. Anyway, the bread they surrounded the entrée with was a nice touch and cute presentation. Sadly though the fettuccine was not really cheesy or overly flavorful. It was slightly bland to my taste. The bread was perfectly toasted but it also did not have any flavor. I was expecting a bit more butter or some sort of herb in either of the two but alas I wasn't pickin' up what it was puttin' down. My friend liked the caprese but remarked the same about the bread and overall lack of heightened seasoning. I wish the food was better, because the place is really really a gem and they even have outdoor seating if you want to sit outside in the summer and just be in nature. I would go here again though as there may just be something else on the menu that might taste a little better. They do have a lot of meat and fish on the menu as well.

The food is excellent! We both had the trout which was delicious, as was the blackberry pie - save room! Service was friendly although slow because they were extremely busy.

Very interesting restaurant seems have a long history. Very friendly service. Food was okay and a bit pricy. But I think maybe it's the best I can find in this area. Service was slow though. If you want to go hiking after having food here you need to plan ahead and take at least 1 and half hour time for food into consideration.

This was a welcomed surprise to a great weekend in the woods. My gf had commented that she'd heard, "mixed reviews on this place" as we drove by it on the way to our cabin in the woods for a week. After 4 days of hikes, cooking for ourselves and wanting to be served, I'd say this was a score. We had 2 different local IPAs Double espresso (lovely, lovely espresso) BLT with Aco Tuscan chicken sammy My BLT was the winner -- the chicken sammy had the best intentions, but the sun-dried tomatoes were so dry it was just weird. The service was friendly and prompt and it was just the right amount of civilization we needed before tucking away in the woods again. Will definietly return.

I was in Ashford for a Mount Rainier climb, I'd have to say Copper Creek was pretty good... good enough that I ate here twice! Before the climb... and after! The restaurant is rustic-cute and casual with a small gift shop at the front. We felt welcome when we stepped in and the servers were very friendly. The first meal I had was the salmon special. The salmon was delicious and seared in butter and brown sugar. The roasted potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Also, I love the berry-butter and fresh mini loaf of bread served with dinner! I was very pleased with my dish! However, the fish is frozen and not fresh, but it was still delicious! For breakfast the next morning, I ordered a slice of pie for take-away. The next morning, it was still awesome and not too sweet. The crust was light and flaky. When we got off the mountain, our group headed back here. I ordered a burger which was good, but not quite as filling as the entree I had ordered before. I felt like dessert and I ordered the chocolate brownie sundae. It was massive! Good to order if you want to share it with someone else.. or 3 others! Overall, I enjoyed both of my meals here. Copper Creek is one of your best bets for a nice meal in Ashford! :)

Stopped in on our way out of Mt. Rainier state park visit, which was also awesome, but I digress. Place was very comfortable, the staff very warm and welcoming. Food was a little better than average, and slightly more expensive than I think it justified, but I get it. Overall happy with the experience and would stop in again if we ever visit the area in the future.

The pie is fresh, the people are excellent. (They work really hard even when things are busy... also there's new management and the service has improved this year) I make a point to stop here every Rainier trip. It's the perfect meal after a long day in the park!

Great lunch after hiking Rainier. Service was great. Food was good. While I ordered something bland my friends took advantage of the blackberries. Blackberry butter for bread. Blackberry vinegarette for salads. The dessert looked amazing too. May not be a 5 star restaurant but you won't be disappointed

Place has apparent charm when you approach, but the service is pathetic. Greeted by a lady that could barely look us in the eye, she eventually got around to mentioning that it would be a bit of a wait or we could sit at the dirty diner bar. Not one that fancies fancy, we gladly took the seat and enjoyed the show 3 feet from the kitchen and slop bucket. The waitress was ridiculous. Fake smile and enthusiasm and little regard for us during the 30 minutes between ordering and receiving our meal. Most meals came with bread and salad, ours apparently did not, so we sat and watched her pass us by for half an hour with phony "I'm sure it's coming soon" quips. One would have thought throwing us one of their famous hot mini breads would have been a kind gesture, she's obviously thrown a few her own way in the past, but no, we sat and got on the free wifi to write this review. Food was good but that may have been most due to the ability to quell our roaring stomachs more so than satisfy our now numb palettes.

Very friendly wait staff. My girlfriend ordered the beef stew and it only had two pieces of beef and all potato and was not very good. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries. The burger was OK and fries were over cooked. We were never asked if the food was good because my girlfriend was prepared to complain about the stew. The only other time we saw our wait staff was to request the bill. My diet coke glass was empty for 15 minutes and I did not have a water glass. We will not be back.

I'm sad to see that this place has any reviews that aren't amazing. I have eaten here at least half a dozen times (including a couple times when we were staying at Copper Creek) and it's so delicious! The first time we stumbled on to it was after leaving the park and having hiked ALL day - it is a perfect post-hike spot. For lunch or dinner I've always gotten a burger and beer and it's always delicious. Follow it up with some Copper Toppers and it's a perfect meal (hint: the Copper Toppers are also amazing warmed up the next morning for breakfast!). I think the staff is also fantastic - they are always working super hard and are very kind and accommodating. I think anyone complaining about parking or wait time or anything like that clearly don't appreciate this place for what it is - it's not fancy, it's divey and awesome.

Stopped here after hiking in the Paradise area of Mt. Rainier. The blackberry pie is excellent! Every time anyone in the family goes to Paradise, they bring home a pie, and I don't get sick of it. The clam chowder was so-so, but it came with a loaf of homemade bread and blackberry butter. The blackberry butter is special. The entrees don't earn 4 starts, but the blackberry pie is the reason to stop.

Best food we had on our trip to this area. Our server was fantastic. She was excited about everything and engaged us in the experience. Food was above average. Took a piece of blackberry pie to go..great filling but the crust could use some improvement. Bottom line...would eat here again as the waitress was fabulous...young gal with blonde hair! We left her a great tip! Wish we had her name to mention it here.

Three star food, one star service. One Star Service: We arrived for an early dinner around 5pm on Sunday after a full day of hiking. Five staff were attempting to cover the: counter, patio, main dining area, host station, and (and!) check people into the inn, which translated into very poor service, despite their best efforts. We were not able to order a second round of beers--no wait staff to ask--and had to explicitly ask the staff waiting on other counter patrons for water refills. We needed to flag someone down to ask for dessert. The staff was working as hard as they could, but if you can't serve the counter, don't seat people at the counter; inform your customers that they will need to wait for a table in the dining room or on the patio. When I expressed my frustration to our waitress, she responded graciously, apologized, and gave us our pie on the house. Three Star Food: The food was good--including freshly baked bread--but nothing spectacular. I experienced some sticker shock looking at the dinner menu, which is something considering I usually eat out in Seattle. Entrees start around $20. Even the meatloaf was $19. I'm not sure about this, but I think there is a special place in hell for people who pay $19 for meatloaf. The lunch menu is more reasonably priced, with sandwiches, burgers, and soups ranging from $8-12. An average size slice of pie is $6, and--Pulp Fiction fans take note--a milkshake is $5.

Came here for Easter Brunch and it was delicious! They had a buffet with a great selection. There were eggs, potatoes, pancakes, bacon, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy! Then there was also salads, fruit, lasagna, mac and cheese! I finished with a yummy cobbler. I know im missing so much of that they had. It was all delicious and i left stuffed! It was a great place and we will be back!

Copper Creek is a charming gem of a restaurant that has become a trademark part of our family's visits to Mt Rainier. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is tasty (especially breakfast!), and the experience memorable.

Maybe it was a bad night. It certainly was for my waitress, who was stretched pretty thin and left me unattended for long stretches, only to suddenly appear and ask if I wanted dessert before i was done with my dinner. And she forgot a few things, like the fact that I didn't want ice cream on my pie. As for the food: okay, not great, especially for the price. My ceasar salad was decent but room temperature. The trout and accompanying vegies were fine, but the mashed potatoes appeared to be instant, albeit skillfully doctored. The vaunted homemade bread that (belatedly) accompanied my salad was stale. The blackberry pie was good but the crust was doughy and not at all flakey. It didn't help that it was a warm night and the place is apparently not air-conditioned. And I wanted decaf coffee with my pie, but only after the pie arrived was I told they had to make a pot and it would be several minutes. To make up for assorted snafus, she didn't charge me for the pie, which was nice, but not enough to turn it into a pleasant evening.

Stopped in this evening at the dinner hour. Hostess was turning people away quite rudely but there seemed to be empty spots available. She made lots of excuses. I am a solo traveler and so can usually fit in somewhere. There was counter space with four empty seats and still she did not want to seat me but relented when I said I just really would take a glass of wine and wait....There was a young man in the seat next to me drinking a beer who seemed to have the eye of the waitress and he finally told the "hostess" to please bring me a glass of wine. ...took her 15 minutes to master the cork screw...cork floating in many pieces in the smallest glass of overpriced red wine I have ever had - I left ten bucks under the glass and hit the road...now just up the road is the Wild Berry ...that is the place to go. There was one young man waiter at Copper Creek who was working his ass off ...unfortunately he did not wait on me. I did ask for a menu, one was not volunteered but nothing on the menu seemed to be anything I thought I needed to try. I watched several plates leave the kitchen that looked like very heavy fried food and sloppy. They were serving a lot of pie and ice cream which did not look appetizing at all. There are limited places to eat in this vicinity...someone should open a restaurant.

Just a mile or two outside the main gate to Mt. Ranier, the Copper Creek Restaurant is AWESOME! Sooooo pretty on a cold winter's day. We stopped by during our recent Seattle vacation looking for something good and hot to eat. It's a historic looking red barn type of building that butts up against the main drag. It was a snowy day outside, and there was piles of it on the road, so this little oasis was a welcome site...and it delivered great food! We were greeted by a genuinely welcoming lady who showed us to our table. With farm house decor and a corner iron fireplace, it felt warm...like home. The server was a college student who was working there for the winter break. Sweet as could be, she politely made menu recommendations, took our orders, brought our food with a big smile, and kept our drinks full. She recommended we not leave without trying their homemade blueberry pie. It was the middle of winter and the snowflakes visible through the large front windows made us feel like we were in Canada, yet they had freshly made blueberry pie - and it was ONO! We are planning on going to Disneyworld for vacation this year, but almost solely because of the Copper Creek Restaurant, I'm thinking of returning to Seattle again! I wonder if they deliver!?

Stopped by on my way back from Mt Rainier, and it was the best decision I've made in months. The restaurant was crowded, but had good turnover time so I only waited a couple minutes for a seat at the counter. The special Lemon Pepper Trout was amazing, and the slice of piping hot fresh blackberry pie for dessert.. Was out of this world good. This place has five-star food and service with a smile. And they know how to make anything with blackberries.

My husband and I stopped for breakfast before our hike to Mt Rainier. I thought a few years ago, I had read mixed reviews or we probably would have stopped before. This place just seems to be so warm and inviting with the cosy, woodsy interior! I'm not so much a breakfast person, but we were too early for lunch. I ordered something that I rarely order, since it is almost always awful-biscuits and gravy. Oh my gosh! Incredibly good. The biscuits were so light and fluffy and the gravy was so tasty!! My husband had the Denver Omlette which he loved. The blackberry jam that they served with his toast he loved. My husband never loves any kind of jam unless it's marmalade. We bought a jar of it on the way out. We will definitely return!

Work up an appetite before you go because you're gonna wanna eat! Our tradition is "burgers and beer" after hiking so we're always on the prowl for good options. After our first visit to Copper Creek we decided to forgo any further experimentation and stick with what worked. Their burgers were excellent; the homemade buns really makes a difference. The staff was friendly and helpful, the beer selection was limited but excellent, and the fresh fries (a tell-tale sign of how seriously a place treats their burger plate) were also superb. We ate at Copper Creek 3 times during our week in the Ranier area. The only snag we hit was a very long wait for both a table and for food once seated the second night. This was because a very large party came in (unannounced and unreserved) which threw everything off. The staff was visibly doing all they could to manage it and in the end, our meals were so great that we didn't care about waiting. The third time we got their wings: coming from a "wing city" in the south, we're pickier about wings than even burgers. These are great wings! Just spicy and saucy enough. "Burgers, fries, and blackberry pie" was our hiking mantra, well satisfied at Copper Creek.

After 30 years of going to this restaurant--my reward after a long hike--I was very disappointed. The prices have gone up again, but that would be ok if the quality of food and service had been maintained or improved. Unfortunately that was not then case. Even the famed wild blackberry pie was subpar. It seemed they had even augmented the wild blackberries with other berries. The beef stew that I always looked forward to tasted like it had been watered down, and it contained very little beef or vegetables. When my friend told the waitress that his bowl of stew contained no beef, he was essentially ignored. He was not offered another bowl. This most likely was our last stop at this historic place.

Nice rustic country inn at the entrance to Mt Rainier National Park. Good hearty food. We had the clam chowder, beef stew and hot wings. The wings were surprisingly good. Good breadng and cooked to perfection. All quite tasty and reasonably priced. Lunch menu available all day. Free WiFi, which is nice, considering there is NO cell signal anywhere on Mt Rainier.

This was not an impressive meal. The service was also less than impressive. We waited for 20 minutes for our check. My water was empty and never refilled. I had the trout which was good but nothing spectacular. The portions are too large and would be good to be shared with another person. I definitely recommend skipping this place.

As of June 2, 2013, they seem to longer offer complimentary bread and blackberry butter AND their portions are smaller. I actually counted my french fries... 17.... lame. Pro: The homemade bun for my burger was delicious! The meat on the burger seemed good, no weird chewy or super hard bits (you know what I'm talkin' about). Pro: Burger prices comparable to say, Red Robin. Con: A whole blackberry pie frozen is $19.99 or hot is $21.99-this is where you end up walking away wondering how you spent so bloody much. Con: Sitting is small and limited. Con: The staff don't seem especially... friendly or attentive. They tend to disappear a lot. My theory is that the dining room is so tiny, that they don't want to be out there serving unless absolutely necessary.

We stopped here on a family trip up to Mt. Rainier. I first feel in love with the cute, mountain cabin that this is in, and then next with their gift shop! I got socks, bees wax candles, goat skin exfoliates, natural soaps, and blackberry wine (which I was able to sample before purchasing). I then continued to fall in love when we sat and met our sever. She was the sweetest lady and so welcoming! Our food was just as good as the service (burgers topped with a fried egg, fries, and black berry pie). I will always stop here on my way to Rainier!!

I worked and lived on Mt. Rainier for over five months, and this was a frequent eating place for the employees. It was one of the few options available for decent food, and I came to appreciate "real" food after eating processed cafeteria food up on the mountain. The prices were pretty high, and the service was often surly, but it was certainly better than nothing. The food here, in all honesty, is just fair. It's good, but nothing to really write home about. Most of the pasta tastes like frozen Marie Callender style pasta, and their world famous Huckleberry pie is just alright. It's all very overpriced for it's quality, and I actually recommend getting one of their burgers instead. I had their blue cheese burger, and it was very good and came with a generous helping of fries. I don't recommend the steak, only because they overcooked mine the time I tried it. I also have had terrible service all of the times I have been here. I don't know how many times I had to ask for water, or condiments, even after being seated for a long time. And whenever I ask, the waitresses seem to give me "the eye", even after asking politely. On one occasion, I found a hair in my food, and we had to ask two different waitresses for a manager. We had half of our ticket comped, but it was irritating sitting there for nearly half an hour while my friends finished their food and waited impatiently. I honestly should give this place a two star rating, but considering the limited dining options in Ashford, I'll give it some leniency. I just hate that they seem to gouge customers with Denny's quality food for fine dining prices. I understand it's in a unique location, but I just think it's a bit unfair. Oh well.

The Copper Creek restaurant is located just outside the entrance to Mount Rainier park and so is a logical choice for people visiting the park on a day visit or staying in the vicinity. In fact there isn't much else to choose from -- this is as good as it gets here. Basically, Copper Creek is a generic not-quite-fine dining establishment. The execution seems to be competent but they don't always use quality ingredients, so the final result is mediocre. For example, the trout and cod are frozen, and even those well prepared, still have that frozen consistency and fishy taste. And, unfortunately, the service is not impolite but it is often inattentive. You won't hate it here, but I doubt if you will love it either.

Hi all, had just come down off Mt Rainier after summiting. I cases like this normally anything tastes great, so I'll remove the bias and rate the overall experience: our waitress was fast and gracious, food was good, and atmosphere was accommodating.

Pleasant surprise to find an above average eatery in the middle of the woods. Nothing fancy, but full of atmosphere. We eat outside (roadside) in a splendid tree grove. Atmosphere 95 Perfect for its location. Service 75 Its the woods! Food 75 Just about what you would eat at home Value 80 Location. Location. Location. Probably the best place to eat when entering Mt. Rainer Park from the southwest. Nothing around.

After a day of hiking my husband and I went to Copper Creek for dinner. Of course the place was packed so we sat at the counter. I ordered the Trout Special and it was amazing. My husband had the filet and he enjoyed it as well. As all the other reviewers have stated, you must try the pie. We did and agree that is it pretty darn good. If in the Ashford area, this is the place to eat.

Only 4 stars because all their beer is bottled, no taps at all. Otherwise their burger was good, service was friendly and the place was nice and warm which is nice after spending a day in the snow. I'd come here again unless I find a place in the area with the same attributes plus beer on draft ;-)

Had a nice lunch here on the way out of Rainier. The waitress was very nice and very attentive although it did take the food a while to come. Not a lot of exciting options on the menu but we did have a pleasant lunch. Seafood chowder was especially tasty. The homemade bread with blackberry butter is excellent. Only wish we were hungry enough to try the pie.

I am a fan of the Copper Creek Burger and the Copper Creek Inn. I'm sure that any of the others are good, but this is the one I get. Their baked goods are all made in house and it is one of the reasons that I enjoy their burgers. The pies are good, they aren't the best, but they have a good home-cooked appeal to them. The service is usually local high school kids who are at there first job, so it isn't always right, but they do a good job. There is only beer and wine, if your looking to drink and it is by the bottle. However they usually have a good selection of microbrews. The over all atmosphere is that of a busy cafe and can be noisy at times. There is live music at times. Don't get the fish.

Enjoyed an excellent lunch here followed by a truly delectable slice of blackberry pie a la mode. Standard American bistro fare done right. Decent prices. Also, the place was pretty much packed both days we were in the area, which is always a good sign.

Given the location, which is far from urban dining meccas like Seattle and Portland, I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was attentive and sweet and our meal was enjoyable. I had the seafood chowder and an excellent salad, and shared a generous piece of their house specialty dessert, which is blackberry pie. The outdoor dining was pleasant. It was worth a bit of a drive from our hotel, and it was quite busy even on a weeknight, so don't be surprised if there is a bit of a wait.

There are not many choices in this area if you are visiting Mt. Rainier. This restaurant is a gem. We found very friendly staff who could not have done more to make our visit pleasant. We were staying at the 'stuffy' inn down the street and wanted a down-to-earth restaurant and that is what we found at Copper Creek. The salmon was perfect and the wings were great also.

Great location for starving hikers. Just don't expect too much. I had the grilled trout which I don't believe was actually grilled. It was so bland and looked like it has been baked in butter. No browning of the fish at all.

I agree with some of the other reviewers, the Creek seems to be slipping a bit, but it will always hold a monopoly near the entrance to the park. Last summer it was a food mecca for me in between hikes in the park. I ate there 4 or 5 times within the course of 3 days. This year I ate there once on the eve before climbing Mt. Rainier. My veggie burger and bun were dry, and, as another reviewer commented, they gave me about 10 fries (awkwardly telling me I could ask for more?!). I also ordered a piece of pie to go. When it cools down, the crust is overly thick and leaves a shortening coating on your tongue. I want more from a $6 piece of pie! The waitstaff are hardworking, and I can sympathize with them during the busy summer months, but this restaurant is capable of doing better. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

This is the third and last time I will visit this restaurant. I've given it the benefit of the doubt after two mediocre to poor previous experiences, and this was the worst. TLDR: -massively inattentive staff -terrible service -overpriced, poorly prepared food -sticky tables (yuck) Four separate parties were seated, fed, and paid up in the time it took us to be acknowledged at our table and have our food ordered. This was after multiple hails of the staff. Once our order was placed we waited. And waited. ... and waited. While watching everyone else eat, and head out. (though there was one other table who had the frustrated bouncy knees of "I've been waiting too long") Even after flagging down our server *twice*, it took another 30 minutes for us to get our food. It came out soggy, greasy, and under/over cooked, and staggered in such a way that everyone got their food at different times. We *did* get a free frozen pie and a small discount ($5...) on the bill for the trouble, but it was all pretty much negated by the *laughing* apology, basically hand waving away the two hour wait for bad food as a "these things happen" kind of problem. When you have a half full (and quite small) dining room and I am not being served? I do not think so. Save your money.

Experience was extremely disappointing, waited around 30 minutes for our beverage and appetizer to come out... But it was the wrong order and then waited 10 minutes until we went inside and fixed it ourselves. For the appetizer, we never received napkins or plates... But it already took so long that we just ate it. We waited another 30 min for dinner to come around and even followed up with the hostess, who said she would look into it... But never did as we could see her ignore us through the window. Dinner finally arrived as cold as it was when Sysco delivered it, but we were to tired to complain or go somewhere else. Long story short, enjoy a cliff bar or go somewhere else.

Nice at-mo! Good service! Good food! That about says it all, the prices are fair and the breakfast portions are good sized. I love the rustic feel of this place. The wife and I will definitely be back for more home cooking! Thanks You! Regards Jamie and Michael

I was disappointed overall. I felt the waitstaff were inexperienced and there seemed to be no real leadership. There was no organization as to how food came out, a salad here, entrees there and oops, would you like bread. Hailey seems to be on her game, but most other patrons were not that lucky. The trout is really dry and tastes frozen. Food is sub-par, and that's a shame because it could be a really cute restaurant if only they'd get it together.

I'm a vegetarian, I don't like greasy food, so finding dinner options in the middle of the woods is difficult. Copper Creek had a couple veggie options that were great, delicious garden burger with wheat bun and yummy pesto pasta! The food was good, delicious homemade berry butter, good beer choices, VERY friendly staff, and all around good atmosphere. I will come back every time I visit Mt. Rainier!

Saw many good reviews and decided to give it a try today on my way to Mt. Ranier. Ordered a Burger Paradise plus a side salad. The fries are really good. The famous blackberry dressing is fantastic too. But the burger is bland and I didn't taste any special. Maybe I ordered a wrong burger. Will try a different dish next time and a bottle of blackberry dressing is definitely great except it is quite pricy (the marked price is ~$15 unless my eyes are blurred... Got to add one thing... Though the waitresses are very nice but the service is a bit slow. I arrived around 11AM and the restaurant is quite empty. Only 4 tables with 2 waitresses. I waited about 20-30 minutes to get my food... I think, I can have my salad first...

We were there for breakfast on 9/15 which may have been the last breakfast day of the season if I heard the waitress correctly. My omlette was good, the home made bread was great. The service was pretty attentive and nice without hovering which would be tough in such a small dining area. As far as a breakfast to fuel up for a day of hiking its great.

4 stars for ambiance! 4 stars for pie! 4 stars for good coffee! 1 star for terrible food. I mean awful. 1 star for very unfriendly service. 'Hearty beef stew' had about 1.5 ounces of beef, 2 or 3 pieces of carrot and a lb of potatoes. Was bland and overly thickened with cornstarch. NOT what I needed after a long day on the trail. Burger was probably one of those frozen patties that comes in a bag of like 20 from Costco. Patty was very thin and cooked to death. Way too much bun, totally not enough of the middle part. Your dining options are VERY limited if you are traveling to Mt Rainier. I haven't been to ALL the restaurants in Ashford and in the park, but I've been to several and none of them are worth a darn except the Sunday brunch buffet up at Paradise. That knocked our socks off! If you are planning on a trip up here, pack your groceries with you! And make sure you are staying somewhere you can cook for yourself. Def come here for pie and coffee.

The food is surprisingly good, given the location. The chowder is good; the burger is good; even the steaks are good. The blackberry butter on mini bread loafs are fantastic. Of course, the pies are good too. The decor is nice, very fit for the area. Rustic yet bright. There's a "bar" at the front, next to a small gift shop. There are also seating outside. While the food is good, the service can be better. The wait staff is always friendly, but they don't seem to be terribly efficient or speedy. I've been here enough times that, while some are good, others just seem to be not accomplishing a lot for the amount of running around they're doing. But I can also understand it's hard to find good help given where the restaurant is. Probably one of the best places to stop and eat near Ashford and SW Rainier. The place isn't big, and it gets busy, so there could be a long wait.

The main reason to stop here it is their black berry home made pie. Cheryl or Sheryl was challenged by one of us when she mentioned that the pie from the competence tasted good. We were offered a complimentary piece to compare and we all went back home with pie!!. As food goes... I only tried one of the hamburgers and that completed dinner. In high season this place can be totally crowded, but the pie is worth to stop by.

We stopped by this adorable little Inn on our way to go hiking near Mt. Rainier. Blackberries seem to be the thing there, being a main ingredient in just about everything from butter to pies, to yummy treats. Several of us ordered blackberry milkshakes and we also ordered a whole blackberry pie to go. After our hike we indulged in this most scrumptious blackberry pie and ate the whole thing! 8 hours after having stopped there the first time, we stopped off yet again at this adorable little Inn on our way home. We bought ANOTHER whole blackberry pie to go. The pies and blackberry treats here are out of this world! If you're headed to Mt Rainier or you're in some need of some good pie and you're willing to do the drive, stop here for some pie which resembles that only of a grandmother's -- no kidding! This is absolutely the best pie I've had outside of my Grandma's amazing homemade pies, and that's a pretty big compliment if you knew my Grandma :)

I'm sorry to say that the only enjoyable part of our breakfast was the live guitarist. We were so looking forward to this place after a perfect weekend. It came highly recommended by Yelp, friends, and locals. Sadly, the service was SLOW and apathetic. It wasn't even busy when we were there. The waitress disappeared after dropping off our drinks and taking our orders and again after dropping off our food. I ordered an omelet with roasted garlic potatoes and toast and my husband ordered the french toast with eggs and ham. While we were waiting, we saw a nearby table arrive after us and get their food before us (and they had a party of six). They appeared to be locals, so I assume they got first priority. Meanwhile, our drinks sat empty. When our food finally arrived, my omelet was without roasted garlic potatoes and toast, as ordered. The waitress didn't seem to notice or care. Since it took so damn long to even get the food, I didn't dare send it back or we would have been there forever. The omelet itself was extremely greasy. I found mushrooms (yuck) in the flavorless and mushy hashbrowns. My husband's french toast was better, but still nothing to write home about. His eggs were quite overcooked, though. It was at least 8-10 minutes after finishing picking at our food before the waitress came back. I had my card out and ready. She ran it and returned fairly promptly. Thank goodness the live guitarist showed up mid-meal. He made the process of waiting for our waitress to show up with our check much more enjoyable. As a result, we decided to give the waitress' tip to the guitarist. Yeah, we definitely will not be back.

This is a busy place! Arguably one of the top eating options in the area (Alexander's likes to boast they are #1), but in my opinion, the food was much better here. There was about a 30 min wait to get in. The space is not super large with only about 10-12 tables. When a 6-person table opened, the waitress kindly asked if we would be willing to join a party of 3 at the table, which we did. We figured it was an opportunity to meet new people, although we didn't really talk much when seated. We ate: -Tuscan chicken sandwich - this was a piece of grilled chicken with pesto sauce, lettuce, tomato and mozzarella. Great for lunch or dinner. -Gorgonzola spinach salad with chicken on top - they like to push their blackberry dressing, but we had the lime cilantro which was a good option. -Wild blackberry pie with vanilla ice cream - very well prepared....still hot. crust was the best part! -For some reason, Sam Adams was the beer special with bottles for $2.99, so I went with it. Overall, I was pleased with the food. Prices were a little steep, but that is the norm for the area. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic place, this is not it. It was very loud and almost hard to hear each other talk. Staff appeared a little overworked and we waited a long time for our meal. I think this is just one of the better places in town, so the crowd follows.

What's good: burgers, salads, blackberry pie, blackberry salad dressing. What's bad: the rest of the food on the menu (in particular the greasy attempts at Italian food), the $14 bottle of blackberry dressing you can buy that tastes absolutely nothing like what they serve in the restaurant, the cleanliness... Or, lack there of... And the service. The service is the absolute WORST. The location of this place will guarantee them a packed house every day so I guess they can afford to have mediocre food and to make their customers wait an hour for it. My most recent visit was my 3rd time there and with each visit, the service got progressively worse (even though we had the same server all three visits). The only reason we went back a 3rd time at all is because they are nice enough to let us have our small dog in the outdoor seating area. Next time, puppy will rest in the car while we try somewhere with a better ethic than providing the bare minimum for the tourists. If this place was in the middle of a town with locals as customers, it would end up on an episode of "Restaurant Impossible."

Good food. Service ...eh. There weren't enough servers and they lacked experience, seeming to be students with a summer job or the like. We ended up having to chase them down to order and waiting almost an hour for our breakfast...but when it came it was hot and truly very good. Delicious thick cut homemade bread, great spreads, nice potatoes. So, I would definitely go there for breakfast again, but leave plenty of time.

This place was great and much appreciated after a night up on Mt. Rainier. They make their own breads and pies. Had a delicious grilled cheese on homemade white bread. The star of the meal was a homemade seafood chowder - the BEST I have ever had. Really impressed with that soup - light and creamy, delicious seafood and beautifully cooked potatoes. Yum!

The Copper Creek Restaurant is a frequent stop when I travel to Mt Rainier. Most of my meals were post hiking or climbing when I wanted a good meal and good coffee before the drive back to Seattle. I've eaten a variety of dinners so it's hard to say if the Trout or the Beef Stew is my favorite dinner. I also had breakfast there after my 2102 climb up Mt Rainier. Great French Toast (and coffee). The Blackberry Pie is also a great treat after a hiking. I highly suggest buying a whole frozen pie and taking it home and then baking it for a treat at one of your gathering of friends. I never have any leftovers. I saw that other reviewers had poor service and a less pleasing meal. While I may have had some slow service the meals have always been good.

i've been here a handful of times in the last 5-7 years and have never been disappointed. i'm gluten-free and dairy-free and find breakfast especially suitable. hubby is vegetarian and enjoys the veggie burger. the sunrise special (eggs, potatoes, toast) is just right. i get it without toast, sadly...but the eggs are cooked perfectly and the garlic roasted potatoes - wow. garlicky and delicious. i would love to see them bake a gluten-free bread for those of us who need it. it would also be awesome to see breakfast all day or until 4 or so. otherwise, it's a solid choice for a meal going to or heading back from mt. rainier national park. it sure as HELL beats the shitty cafeteria at the visitor's center! if you want breakfast make sure you get here before 11.

We made reservations and were seated promptly when we arrived. The service was outstanding----our server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice-- felt warm and friendly. We ordered the flatiron steak and the trout. Both dinners came with a little loaf of bread, a salad, mixed veggies and our choice of starch (we both had the baked potato). The steak was really good and but the trout they are supposed to be famous for was just okay. Overall a good experience. Copper Creek and Wild Berry are really the only places I'd bother with in Ashford.

Very cozy and inviting. The staff was very good, their famous blackberry "anything" (butter, vingerette, pie) was delicious!!! Was in Ashford for the weekend, and ate in once and got something to-go once.

Fresh baked blackberry pies every 45 minutes. I ate pie at every meal last weekend. And pie WAS our meal for Sunday's breakfast. Made of seedless marion blackberries, the filling is all fruit and the crust is a pale, sugar-crusted delight. Its cooked just long enough to sop up some juice but still stay crispy outside. Some have complained that the crust is too pale, saying that it belies an undercooked or a frozen pie. It's fresh -- they just don't use an egg wash and they sprinkle it with super-fine sugar, which gives it a pale hue. They've got a good beef stew (served with a mini-loaf of bread), fantastic omelets, and dinner entrees big enough for two. The BLT, french toast, and trout weren't standouts. But I did love the salmon and the halibut.

This place is an absolute must to stop by!!! After a ride up to Mt Rainier, we wanted lunch and a couple beers. It being nice out, we sat outside on their "deck" and honestly never stepped foot inside except to use their bathroom, which you have to walk past the inside of the kitchen to get through. Facilities, clean... +1. The partner in crime ordered some pasta dish and some kind of berry pie for desert that was served with the option to have a scoop of ice cream with it. Both looked absolutely amazingly good!!! Needing comfort food, I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich with fries. Both the sandwich and fries that I had hit the spot!!! I was told that they make their own bread and if they don't, I would be absolutely SHOCKED. The bread they used was absolutely delicious!! The only major complaint I had with their offerings is that the beverage menu listed all these beers and I was all set on one. Well, that wasn't the current beverage list. She handed me another list, which was shorter, and let me know that they were out of a number of beers on that list. SIGH Ok, standby... Hefeweizen Other than that, the service was great, they were all really nice and the prices were right. I would give this place a 4.5, if possible. Only reason it isn't a 5 is because of the beer issue. BUT it must be difficult to get things delivered all the way out there!!!

Cozy little place just outside Mt. Rainier Park. We had a group of 10 and I feel the overall judgement from the group is 4 stars. I would say most of the props go to the fresh baked breads used in most of the dishes here. Grilled Cheese, Ham and Cheese and burgers. The highlight of my beef stew was the mini loaf of bread. The stew tasted re-heated (not very well I might add), coagulated, with very little meat. Blackberry pie a la mode was excellent as well as the cup of Joe. Stop here to warm up before or after your Rainier hike.

I was sooo looking forward to the blackberry pie and I was sooo disappointed! We ordered our main courses and mentioned to our waitress that we wanted to save room for the pie. She made a comment about waiting for it to cool down. Dinner was good - we had the chili and the beef stew. However when it came time for dessert, a small, cold piece of blackberry pie arrived on our table. It had obviously just been taken out of the freezer that day and the cook didn't even take the time to put it under the broiler for 5 minutes. The crust wasn't even golden-brown - it was pale. The server lied about the pie being freshly baked, she failed to notice that we barely touched it, and she never came to check on us til it was time to pay.

This place was a huge surprise and a major delight. It's pretty much the last sit-down full service restaurant you can go to right before the Paradise entrance of Mt. Rainier. After reading some of the reviews of how expensive the dining room could be in the Paradise Inn (where we were staying), we decided to venture back out of the park for dinner and were really pleased with the restaurant. At night, the place was full of climbers getting ready for their hike the next day or winding down from a hike earlier in the afternoon. The place had a small dining room but it was full of conversation and seemed a lot bigger than it was. There's a small gift shop area and a dining bar on one half of the restaurant and then tables with wait staff on the other side. They have beer and wine and close fairly early -- but that kind of goes with the idea that people get up early in the morning to hit the mountain trails. The food was excellent. We had fish and a burger and the vegetables were really good. We liked it so much that we went back the next day for breakfast (which was served on Saturdays and Sundays until 11am) which was equally as delicious. We got two pieces of pie to go and it held up really well for a couple of days and was really good. This is a must-stop if you're going to Mt. Rainier -- highly recommended.

We went twice during our 2 day vacation in the area...gardenburger was super good and came on wheat bread (that's rare!). Omelets were excellent, hash browns potatoes were undercooked though. Toast came with pretty good blackberry jelly and blackberry butter. It's small, the servers hustle to keep the very busy place moving. It has a nice mural on one wall, fun to look at. Nice pictures hung around other walls. People evidently like their pie but we didn't have any

Great place for lunch after Mt. Rainier. We stopped here after hiking around Rampart Ridge at Longmire during the afternoon and needed a boost. I ended up getting the classic burger and fries with a beer, the person I was with had salmon. We were both starving from the hike and would have eaten anything, but nevertheless this was good solid pub food with a good beer selection, too. There aren't many food choices in Ashford but it's nice to know there's at least on reliable one to fall back on. The waitress was nice and even chatted about the hike with us; it sounded like she knew the mountain pretty well so that was cool. We were there on a weekday but she said their weekends were popular for breakfast for all the people staying at cabins nearby. All in all a great mountain town bar & pub. Highly recommended to get the full Mt. Rainier experience. We've been down there a few times without stopping in Ashford for food and we'll definitely be back next time.

Though we were only in town for two days, we ate here twice! The garlic roasted potatoes and blackberry pie are must-haves. You know that a restaurant is good when there's a sign a quarter mile down the road warning of slow traffic and pedestrians crossing the street.

All we had was the blackberry pie. It was very sour, the ice cream sweetened it enough to make it good, w/o it i could not have eaten it. The staff though was so friendly and helpful. It was refreshing to see people who enjoyed what they were dong and had a genuine smile on their faces.

Copper Creek is my must-stop restaurant after a day of snow-shoeing or hiking up on Rainier. It's a unique place well worth visiting any time you're near the mountain. Despite it's relative isolation, it's got great fresh ingredients in many of the dishes. The dinner cuts (whether fish, steak or chicken) are large and generous, well prepared and seasoned in what feels like old-timey recipies. The real draw, though, is the blackberry pie: large whole-fruit berries & a really great homemade crust. Don't just have a slice for dinner, take a pie to-go and eat it the next day! It's so fresh and made with natural ingredients, by the way, that it won't last much longer than that ;-) A long-time favorite of mine, give it a try next time you're out that way.

Plusses - super sweet waitress, fresh salad, loaded backed potato, yummy flat iron streak Minuses - Room on the cool side, pretty disappointing blackberry pie. Seriously, it wasn't that good - there was some framboise or some of the berries were funky. I don't know, but I wasn't loving it.

We were late coming out of the park, and were worried we were not going to find much for dinner. Yelp steered us to Copper Creek, and it's a gem. If you are coming to Rainier, you've got to stop at this place. The food was outstanding (we had the trout; delicious!), the beer selection was excellent, the staff were happy and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect (quaint without being kitschy).

Great stuff! Food fresh and tasty as advertised! The only reason I'm docking them a star is for the single-use butter, single use creamer and disposable little flavored butter/jam containers.

Good selections and blackberry everything. The salmon with blackberry sauce was very good. The bread and blackberry spread was also great. Of course the blackberry pie was amazing. At $6 a slice it can be expensive but you can get a whole pie for about $23... but you have to get a whole pie to go....

This was a great find on our way back from visiting Mt. Rainer. Hungry for dinner we knew if we didn't stop we would have to eat something undesired. Well we found a gem. This place had the best energy and atmosphere we could hope for. The inside was warm and had lots of character which is exactly what you want when you are visiting near a National Park. We ate dinner only. I had the Baked Halibut Supreme. It was very good and almost excellent. I would say there was too much cheese but everything else was great. The potatoes were tasty and cooked well and my vegetables were al dente which is how they should be prepared. There were good options for my 5 year old as well as something healthy for my wife. It's a worthy of a stop for a bite to eat as well as find something to remind you of the area. There is also an Inn behind the restaurant which looks lovely.

The greatest cheeseburger I ever ate. I was on my way home from having just climbed Mt. Rainier for the first time and needles to say I was pretty hungry. My partner and I stopped in here for a much deserved celebratory dinner and I had the Copper Creek burger. This burger comes with bacon, cheese and a fried egg. It has a great blending of flavors and textures and provides what I believe is the ultimate burger experience. What really makes this burger standout from the rest though is that it is served on a home made bun. So good! I had the opportunity to stop in here again recently and I was curious if it would still be a great burger of if it was just the mountain talking. It is not quite the same when you are not a famished mountain climber but I can happily say that it was still pretty damn good.

I'm giving Copper Creek a 4 instead of 2 or 3 mainly because what this place did well, it did exceptionally well, including serving homemade bread, buns, pastries, salad dressings, Alfredo sauce, AND blackberry pie that is made from scratch and baked fresh every 45 minutes. For the most part the food was delicious. The atmosphere was quaint and pleasant. And the location is so convenient if you're heading to or from Mt. Rainier. Complaints: the service was inexcuseably slow. Even though there appeared to be adequate staff, our waitress was harried and inefficient. Our wait was entirely to long. We had to practically chase the waitress down a couple of times. Also, despite how good the food was, it came up short in some areas. For example, the burger had a delicious homemade bun, but the patty and fries were prefab. If you're going to go to the trouble to make homemade bread, why not make your own patties also? Order the potatoes instead. Overall we will go back again, but only if we have lots of time to kill.

Drove by the place on the way to Mt. Rainier, made a note to get dinner there on the way home--and we made the right choice! Service was great, and the food--the tasty tasty food. The blackberry butter for the bread and blackberry vinaigrette for the salad were unique and amazing. I had the seafood chowder, companion had the special of the red snapper. Found a bone in it, but the blackberry pie a la mode, pyramid apricot ale, and service made up for the half-star I would have taken off. I highly recommend this place.

Desperate for an internet connection, we stopped here to see if they had Wifi. They did. At first we were just going to get coffee and tea but after looking over the menu and chatting with the friendly wait staff, we decided to order lunch. The menu was fairly basic emphasizing burgers. We ordered a hamburger with fries and their beef and bean chili with a small homemade loaf of bread. The hamburger was barely passable (think mcd's with a bigggg bun) but the chili was quite flavorful even if the beans were from a can. The chili included tomato, beef and a side of red onions and some kind of interesting looking red and white spread thing which we didn't eat. The bread was not very flavorful. French fries were adequate. So, why the four stars? Moosedrool beer on special for $2.99 a pint and very pleasant and friendly waiters. The dinner menu did not look interesting so we did not go back. But if you need an internet connection and aren't looking for spectacular cuisine, they work. A word on the interior: this is a very old building and has been around a long time. One half of the room is counter seating (that's where we sat) and lots of ticky tacky stuff for sale (including wine, cookies and post cards which are at least useful). The other half of the room has tables.

By all appearances this is the most popular place to stop before going to Mt. Rainier National Park. We stopped in on an overcast Sunday and this place was hopping for breakfast. There aren't a huge selection on the menu, but everything I tried tasted pretty darn good. They bake their own breads here and they are fresh and good. They also bake their own cinnamon rolls and black berry pies. I got a pancake...but mostly it was a vehicle for consuming massive amounts of blackberry syrup: it's really good. I also tried my mom's garlic potatoes and they are delicious and very garlicky (that's a very good thing!). They probably shouldn't have trusted me with the bottle of blackberry syrup cause it also went onto my oatmeal....it's really very good! This place is very busy...but definitely give it a try. I think I'd like to stay at the lodge overnight sometime so to enjoy the park even more.

Although you don't have many options for a restaurant near Mt. Rainier, this is one you won't regret trying. They have great food that is always worth a taste when you're in the area. I personally enjoy the beef stew with their THICK homemade bread and black berry pie for dessert. They are quite popular, so don't be surprised if you have to wait a while for a table.

Stopped here after a day of driving around Mt Rainier... I had Halibut & Chips... served in a bucket, of sorts - Very tasty. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

We've eaten here twice in December 2010 and January 2011. Food was excellent, service good, ambience good, prices reasonable. The pie was outstanding (as others have noted) and the blackberry vinaigrette salad dressing was so good they bottle it and sell it. (We bought a couple of bottles.) Coffee isn't up to Seattle standards, but everything else makes this an excellent place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Copper Creek Restaurant and Alexanders are probably the best restaurants for 50 miles around. Well worth stopping here to and from Rainier (or even just in the area.)

This place is great. I don't understand how you could doubt the freshness of the pie- we sat near the kitchen and saw 2 fresh batches come out of the oven. Mine was piping hot when I ordered and delicious. Be prepared- portions are HUGE here! Overall excellent food, nice staff. My only complaint was that it was pretty hot inside, but then again there were record temps in the 90s yesterday.

There is good food for everybody in the family. It is more expensive than the joints down the street, but the food is high quality. The blackberry pie is outstanding. We ate trout there two nights in a row. Our kids highly enjoyed the ice cream sundaes. If you are on vacation at Mt. Rainier, this place is a treat!

stopped here for dinner after playing in the snow at mt. rainier. the place is small only about 10 - 12 tables, but it has a warm and friendly atmosphere,a nd our waitress Sandy was super friendly and constantly kept our drinks refilled. My husband and I both had the flat iron steak with roasted garlic red potatoes, the steak was cooked to perfection and it was very tasty and tender. The homemade little bread loaf and blackberry butter was Delicioius!!! My 13 year old son had a cheeseburger which he claimed was the best, daughter had corndog and fries which she said was delicious. We took home a whole blackberry pie which reminded me of my grandma's it was very good warmed up with vanilla icecream. We will defintly plan on stopping by next time we go to the mountain. maybe try the breakfast or lunch next time because i have feeling there sandwiches mafe with homemade bread will be worth it.

There breakfast is AMAZING!!!! We went two mornings in a row just for the garlic potatoes and the blackberry jam and butter on their homemade bread. I would give it a 5 but their service is a tad slow.. And don't drink their espresso... No good.

Oh well.

This was a good restaurant we stopped on our way to Rainer and had a good lunch. We had butternut squash soup and a burger. Both were very yummy!

Unbelievable lunch complete with fresh baked bread with an outstanding bowl of chili. Finished off with out of the oven berry pie. Highly recommend.

  • Kat S.

After a day of hiking, a slice of pie or two from this place will be the perfect end to your day. We stopped in on the way home and both had sandwiches and a slice of the blackberry pie. Great food and really nice people make me look forward to stopping in again next time I'm in the area.

  • Erickson E.
