OMG, a friend and I actually planned a trip (1.5 hrs each way!) to Worthy Burger because it is so fun and delicious! We split an order of truffle Parmesan fries and the house made pickle platter and then each had a salad topped with the turkey and duck confit burger and a glass of the locally produced kombucha. WOW. WOW. WOW. We sat outside in their screened in patio and it was lovely. Very hip, very popular place, and people from all over the world are finding it somehow. All that for about $25 including tax and tip! Slightly hard to find but totally worth the effort, TONS of free parking in the parking lot.
6 stars Fresh local ingredients in skilled hands presented at reasonable prices. $6 for a grassfed local burger and I opted for local blue cheese. It came dripping with yellow butterfat and has forever elevated what I expect blue cheese to be. $4 for the homemade pickle plate... This time it was cauliflower, green tomatoe and green beans all handled in different subtle spices. Fries are big enough to share. By far one of the best fancy burger joints around.
Stumbled across this place (thanks to Google Maps) while on a road trip. A little out of the way - but well worth this stop! We actually went again on our trip home! The burgers are amazing... cooked so there's pink in the middle... the fresh mozzarella is FRESH mozzarella! Grilled mushrooms are very well cooked... just wonderful taste! A friend asked for tomatoes on their burger and the answer was "no - they're not ready yet!"... I love how everything is super fresh - and if it can't be sourced locally, it's not on the menu. Chocolate peanut butter cookies for dessert are great - so yummy and warm even! Beer selection is awesome... oohhh - and the homemade sauces are devine! My fav was the pesto mayo. Even the ketchup is homemade! The winner by far though - is the parm truffle french fries. Some of the best fries I've ever had! Anytime in the future when I'll be remotely close to this place - I'll be making a point to stop in for burger, fries and beer!

If you're going to Burlington to visit colleges stop here for breakfast. Pancakes are excellent and maple syrup appears to be processed on premise. Good taste of the locals too!
This is the quintessential Central Vermont breakfast eatery. This place is a breakfast icon- grew up going here! This is the place to take your out of town friends to get all "Vermonty". Overall great breakfast food, inexpensive & large portions. Any trip to central Vermont is not complete without a pit-stop at Eaton's Sugarhouse. Cheers!
I'm giving this place 5 stars on the basis of being a great place to eat while visiting South Royalton. It's very similar to a Cracker Barrel in that it has a gift shop and waiting area replete with a checkers board, but this place has an even more rustic and kitschy feel. The tables and benches are lacquered logs that are actually quite uncomfortable, but the food more than made up for it. The pancakes are delicious and definitely homemade, as the not-perfectly-circular shape will attest. The coffee was strong and befitting the mountain men who felled the log tables. Also, you can buy a gallon of Vermont maple syrup!

Good thing the only dinner restaurant in town s so good! So I've been here a million times since my last review, and the eggplant parm is still my favorite (though I strongly feel they could be more generous with the marinara), but I haven't had anything bad or even mediocre here. Good Caesar salad, other fresh salads (I love the house-made parmesan-peppercron dressing), steaks cooked just the way you asked, amAzing bread, and some of the best wings I've had in a long time -- 40 cents a wing every Wednesday! The nightly surf n' turf specials have been consistently good, too, and I also love the steak and blue cheese quesadilla. I'm not sure what other reviewers are looking for in ambience -- I like the local, family feel of it, like a true pub in England or Ireland. It seems to bring together a community that is kinda divided between the school and the rest of town. It kind of reminds me of Cheers, where everybody knows your name. (Or at least recognizes you form around town.) Also, the staff is responsive and friendly. Family-friendly and reasonably priced, too.
I ordered a shrimp pizza with so much powdered garlic my lips became chapped. Somehow at the same time it was flavorless. Odd grilled pizza shell, I should have asked. Beer was cold, waitress was nice.
Not impressed! Have tried it several times, hoping it would be different. It wasn't. The food is fine, bit it depends on who's in the kitchen that night. Service has ranged from adequate to poor. Won't be back.
