Friendly, reasonably priced good food combined with cozy country atmosphere make this a winner. The staff is incredibly pleasant and friendly. We ate there twice during recent weekend visit and left satisfied both times. Portions could be little bigger but the prices are low so no complaints. Food was tasty and fresh. The Gravy is amongst the best I have ever had. Nothing fancy but if your hungry and want a nice meal with friendly service then stop in and you won't be disappointed.

A little leery when we first stopped. Afraid it was gonna be frozen pizza Really nice inside much larger than it looks from the outside The calzone was amazing the medium was huge ! The tomato sauce homemade... again delicious We shared the medium calzone and small salad. We have a dinner now also Thanks Don and Donna

What a great weekday lunch: delicious and straightforward food, prompt and friendly service. I enjoyed a crisply fresh and colorful Greek salad. Donna Pelton's housemade authentic Greek dressing was well balanced, with flavorful olive oil, and it nicely offset the salad's bright tomatoes and shredded carrot, crispy cukes, creamy feta, and several varieties of Greek olives. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I was lunching alone mid-workday, and Don Pelton stopped by with easy conversation. New restaurateurs, the Peltons have earnestly sought input from their patrons and made some really great and important changes to The Country House over the last 6 or so months---all to very good effect! So much so, that I am looking for a reason to take me back to Pittsford soon!

We had a very nice and reasonably priced meal here. The service was good, our waitress very diligent and always smilling! But really it was good food for the value. To many places are trying to price up for tourist, and this is a place that keeps the locals in mind. I saw that being from NJ but growing up here weekends and summers as my father is from Pittsford. It's great to have a place in Pittsford that can accommodate the locals as well as tourist. The diningroom is airy and comfortable. I don't write many reviews, but I wanted to make sure people know it's a good place to visit and support locally. I will definitely be back on a regular basis!

Our waitress Kelly was awesome. She appeared to have a great personality and enjoyed her job. We ordered wings, stuffed mushrooms, a spicy chicken "burger" with a side salad and one of the special burgers with sweet potato fries. Everything was amazing, from the food quality, to the portion sizes, to the prices. We were thrilled that the chicken wings were crispy and not breaded. Our bill came to $33, before the tip and we left with leftovers. And as a thank you and a way to get us back, they gave us two coupons for a BOGO half off Friday appetizer. We will surely be going back.

I went there and had the broccoli cheddar soup and sweet potato fries and everything rocked. The wait staff was pleasant and warm.

Been there a few times. Food is awesome and the waitresses are awesome . Love Sam and Jenine . I was in on a Sunday nite couple weeks ago. They are really nice. We will be back again for sure.
