If you want good food, good service, nice atmosphere, and fair pricing, Jericho Tavern is your place! From burgers to swordfish, the best mussels I've ever had, everything was delicious. 5 of us (from age 7 to 69) sat outside on the deck on a warm Saturday nite and totally enjoyed the experience!

Thank you for catering our Training Event. The food was awesome! Our employees appreciated the HUGE upgrade from subs or pizza. We appreciated you keeping us on budget. There are few words to describe pulled pork ... perfect, delicious, the right amount of flavor added to quality pork. OK ... I found some words!

It's a toss up for what was worse, the service or the food. Our friends were so excited for us to try the Poutine fries, but they were a soggy and greasy mess. My highly recommended kale skillet was nasty, but the salmon on top was decent. The turkey dinner was hardly edible. A glass of wine never came. The stiff cocktail and great friends saved the meal.

This is my third time visiting this gem of a restaurant and I've been pleased each and every time. I've had the burger, an oooey gooey grilled cheese, and today a Cesar salad, cup o' chowdah, and the muscle appetizer. The ambiance is seriously second to none. I had the pleasure of dining on the patio last July in the perfect setting with a calm meadow filling my eyes and soul with warmth. I came in November and dined indoors next to the window, where they have a bird feeder and today I enjoyed "Groundhog TV" where the resident groundhog "Doug", was having his lunch. I was surprised to see another groundhog pop out and I told the nice co-owner Chris, "you have a Daisy, too". The wait staff and owner/manager are very attentive and make you feel at home. The food is made to order and I had my interesting request of extra anchovies, which they brought out plated beautifully (for anchovies). My lunch mate had the carrot cake for dessert and I had a chocolate mousse cup with a delightfully edible chocolate cup mold. You can't leave without eating dessert! It would be morally wrong. If you haven't visited Jericho Cafe', you are missing a perfect eating experience!

Oh, I'm afraid I have to take it down to 2 stars... And I so really, really want to like JCaT, as they like to refer to themselves. I wish I could just love it. The best thing tonight was the bread. And the Cabot butter pats that came with it. (Why does butter always taste better when wrapped in small bits of foil?) But the duck wings, though covered in an awesome spicy/sweet sauce, were so very, very tough and stringy, inedibly so. The chicken and biscuits crapetizer was unbelievably bland -- except for the maple syrup on the bottom of the plate. I put enough salt on the chicken to put out a small forest fire. Poutine was good, but tres greasy. The zucchini fries (special appetizer) came with an amazing pesto-cream -- but the zucch itself needed...flavor. I usually find restaurant food too salty--I never add salt. I added a lot of salt to every dish tonight. I'm sorry JCaT, I really am. I want us to have a good relationship: we are neighbors, after all. I feel way harsh, but I'm way disappointed. Maybe the kitchen is having an off night. Maybe they ran out of salt. Maybe I'll be back to give it another chance. But then, maybe I won't.

Great place for casual or romantic dining. We had an anniversary meal on the patio. Quail and scallops were both good entrees and the pretzel fonue is a nice change from normal apps. Service was friendly and attentive. Not cheap, but worth the price. It was local but not pretenious.

Love the food and atmosphere but a 45 minute wait for breakfast is crazy. I'm understanding of a busy restaurant but the place isn't even busy.

Visited for the first time last Sunday. The service was slow but we were not in a rush (though I do wish my coffee had come a little quicker). The food was good: the omelet came with fresh veggies and delicious corned beef inside. The biscuits and gravy were exceptional - I wish there had been more gravy-to-biscuit ratio since I did eat a lot of dry biscuit bites toward the end, but in their defense they're extremely tasty. We left full, happy and satisfied!

Service is a little slow but I love the food, the coffee, cocktails and food. Good place close to home!

It's been years since I've been in what was once the Flower Mill. On a whim, my brother and I opted to take our parents there for lunch. Wow! I am definitely impressed. While it was odd going in to the Turner's house again, I found myself stunned with the decor in the room we were in. It felt homey, warm, and welcoming. The fish and chips were some of the best I've had in Vermont. The beer selection was surprising, especially given that I know other taverns have tried and failed to take off in the Underhill/Jericho area. This is not the standard Bud, Coors, and other beers that I find are too watered down to have much flavor. Instead, you have a wide selection from local brewers like Lost Nation, Fiddlehead, and Burlington Beer. My husband loved his burger, as did my brother, and the Reuben was so big that my dad couldn't finish it. Not one of us had anything negative to say. We'll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, great service and most of all great food!! The breakfast is to die for, not one thing on the menu that isn't delicious. They have a great section with baked goods. The winter spice scones are top notch!!

We came in for brunch nearly a year ago and it was fine, but the new ownership seems to be serving this spot well. We stopped in for dinner toward closing time on a Sunday. There was a bit of an obnoxious bar crowd, but our servers, dinner, and dessert were all delightful. We shared a cup of clam chowder and the complimentary basket of bread brought to the table shortly after ordering. The chowder was very rich and creamy and wasn't oversalted, as clam chowder often is. The bacon Mac and cheese arrived bubbling in a small skillet and the melty, creamy cheese combined with the crunchy panko was super satisfying. My partner's meatloaf came on top of mashed potatoes and with steamed green beans on top. He thoroughly enjoyed it. It would be a mistake to skip their dessert case. We grabbed a slice of peanut butter pie to take home - it was awesome. The crust was peanut butter cookie and it was filled with a light, creamy filling that wasn't over the top-sweet. We'll definitely be back!

Had lunch there today ( early Feb, 2014). It's a really nice place. The roasted pumpkin hummus is wonderful. It's slightly sweet and served with warmed pita. It really fits the Vermont winter. I also had the soup of the day, a seafood chowder. It was like Manhattan clam chowder with clams and other seafood added. Very, very tasty stuff. After soups, my partner had a burger that he loved, and I had a chicken club that was really tasty. Also, their wine list by the glass is very nice for people who enjoy dry reds (that's me--thank you for not cluttering your list with cloyingly sweet, jammy wines). So glad to have another good spot in the area. We'll be back! Oh, and they have an amazing looking dessert case. We didn't have anything after our huge lunch, but I can't wait to try the key lime or coconut cream pies. The staff here is also really fantastic. Good stuff.

Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, great service. Order the poutine. The warm kale salad was great, salmon entree, butternut ravioli...all delicious. Highly recommend!

It seems this business is becoming addicted to changing its name, but the customer service or lack there of remains. The food is great and the desserts are fantastic, but the staff can only be described as poor. We live in the area and have been there on numerous occasions (of course under 3 different names). The staff always seem overwhelmed and I'm always surprised when I have to ask for the toppings that are listed on the menu when they don't arrive. Odd how they can have such a following because of food and yet still offer such poor service. If you ask around you'll find a similar sentiment. Looking forward to the next name change and hopefully new staff. Otherwise I don't see us going back, I can't support local if it's not offering me good service.

Just had time for a quick stop while we were touring the area. Very friendly owner. Delicious chocolate chip scone, and wonderful maple sugar pastry. Wish we would've had time to stay and savor a full meal, the view, and the very friendly atmosphere. All the best to this fine establishment. Linda and Sara - Snow Lovers from Oregon!

Awesome breakfast. Try the corned beef hash skillet and prepare for flavor. Bacon super tasty and my kids pancakes were to die for. Great service too!

First time here. Me and my wife were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was expertly done. The bacon was crisp but not burnt, cheese was melted just right and the egg was fluffy. All this served on a croissant with homefries. Great service and a perfect meal we will be back for more!

I'm so impressed with the way this place has turned back around! We've had dinner once and lunch twice, and they've nailed it every time. The clam chowder is some of the best I've had anywhere - even dedicated seafood restaurants phone in their chowder, but not here! I can't wait to try out brunch and breakfast, will definitely be coming here more frequently.
