My boyfriend and I eat here every Tuesday and absolutely love the place. The daily soups are homemade and delicious! The sandwiches and quiche are amazing as well. The waitstaff and owner, Jeff are attentive and hospitable. A real "gem" in this quaint town of Bennington.

Delicious sandwiches! Honestly I'm not the kind to go to a sandwich shop because I figure I can make a sandwich myself so why order it when I'm out. Well, today we were looking for a quick bite and stumbled upon Your Belly's Deli and what a pleasant surprise it was! The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean and very cutely decorated, and the sandwich was phenomenal. I don't think I've ever used that word for a sandwich but it fits in this case. I ordered the Saucy Chicken Sandwich and it was just yummy! The avocado was fresh, the marbled rye bread was the perfect touch, the sandwich and chipotle sauce was flavorful, and the serving size was large. I have absolutely no complaints. Just sad I didn't discover this place earlier on in our trip to Vermont. I definitely will have to stop by this place next time we're in town. The menu had so many delicious and unique sounding choices. I have to come back and try something new!

Stopped by here on a hot summer day for lunch. The place was cool, bright and very clean (learned that they recently went through a top to bottom renovation). We were greeted when we arrived and the menus were waiting for us on the table. I tried the special wrap of the day - sliced ham with cheese and broccoli in a grilled wrap. My companions had the chicken salad and the roast beef. All of the sandwiches came with a healthy sized handful of wavy potato chips and a large hand-cut pickle spear. We all really enjoyed our sandwiches, with generous portions of fresh ingredients. Unfortunately we were too full to try the yummy looking homemade cookies and coconut macaroons. The crowd in the place were a mix of local business people on lunch, tourists and a family's with kids. Everyone's lunches looked good and quite a few people walked out with leftover bags and desserts. Definitely worth the visit when passing thru southern Vermont!

This place is close to where I work and despite warnings not to go there from co-workers, I recently tried it. The first time I visited, I got a decent sandwich. The second time, I decided to order the same sandwich and was disappointed because it came missing a key ingredient and the toasted pita had been burnt black. The third time, hoping it was a single mistake, it came again without the key ingredient and this time the pickle that came with the sandwich was browning, shriveled and clearly had a bite taken out of it!!! THAT CAN'T BE KOSHER! I found it both disgusting and hilarious. It was like a big middle finger to me from a cook who might be unhappy with their job. I mean, who does that? Like "hey, eat this you stupid customer paying for overpriced mediocre food!" Maybe he's gonna go home tonight, pop open a beer and tell his buddies "spitting in people's food is so passe. I want them to know that I'm treating them horribly... I let it all hang out there with a shi**y pickle with a bite taken out of it!" Come on, Your Belly's... I can dumpster dive for free. I don't need you to do it with my $8 crappy sandwich. At least if I did the dumpster diving myself, I'd think to wash the food first and look for bites. At least then I could be sure of a Hepatitis-free pickle. Avoid this place like the plague... or a plague-covered pickle. Or at least a pickle with a suspicious bite taken out of it.

Ohh... eww... no. The food and the service here are really below sub par. It's loud, it's crowded, it's quite dirty and the food isn't very good. I had the "Tummy Tuck" and besides the name (which made me want to gag) the actual sandwich was underwhelming. Ground, tasteless chicken with heaps of mayo sloshed in a boring white wrap with white lettuce and a barely pink tomato with overcooked bacon... ick. Just ick. It came with some greasy Lays and a decent cole slaw which could NOT have been made there, it was entirely too crispy. The waitresses spent most of their time bickering with each other while my dad and I waited and waited and waited for our table to be cleaned from prior occupants, our order to be taken, our food to arrive and then for our check to come. I would recommend Issabella's, Bean and Leaf, Madison's or Power's Market for your lunch adventures. God knows, even Carmondy's is better than this train wreck... and that isn't saying much!

So many good sandwiches! This is a must go back to kinda place. I wish I could be a regular here. Great inventive sandwiches at really reasonable prices.

I have eaten here occasionally for many years now, and lately, I am always disappointed. Today, for example, I ordered take out of a tuna sandwich on marble rye with lettuce. With a Snapple, it came to $8.72 and did not even include a small bag of potato chips (they cost $1.00 extra). You get all bread and little filling in their sandwiches these days. And they forgot the lettuce. GEE WHIZ. The bread is very good and fresh, but the tuna was awful - Miracle whip all the way (or a cheap imitation). Me, I am a Hellman's girl - ADAMENTLY. The brownies look good but are not from -scratch. For the money, you can get a far better sandwich - WITH chips at Powers Market. Sorry folks, but they should do better job with their food.

This is the epitome of a village restaurant. We came in here for brunch while traveling through Vermont, and it hit the spot. It wasn't a place where you'd gorge yourself. I had a bagel with avocado (and possible some other toppings, I don't recall), and it was perfect for a light meal. They also had some great fresh made apple cider. The food was tasty, and the people were very friendly.

I was in the area for business and stopped by. Nice little place with down home feeling. Lots of yummy choices on the menu at very reasonable prices. Really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich I ordered. My only complaint would be the waitress, no personality at all - needed to be more friendly and smile at least once in a while.

I used to live down the street from here... a glorious three years on the ever so interesting Pleasant Street. During that time this was a favorite spot for lunch - awesome sandwiches! I don't eat meat anymore, but their chicken salad sandwich is to die for. Friendly service, great food and good prices make this a great spot for lunch. After dinner hours, head upstairs for a little pool and a drink at the Daquiri Factory.
