The All American Steakhouse Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Charles B., one guy that's good only to complain. Complains that it took too long to bring a salad (at this other restaurants' review), Gee! Wouldn't be nice that you were the only person on the planet and wouldn't have to deal with others and never ever have to wait?. Can't stand impatient people. I went here for steaks and they definitely don't disappoint. My first time here was two weeks ago and had never bothered to come because of its location, it's in that part of town I don't visit, but......there's always a first time for everything. Anyhow, I got the menu and decided for the rib eye but ask if they could give me a bigger portion than the one that was already cut, waiter said they couldn't so I get the bone in rib eye 18oz. Asked for Med and the flavor was great, as close as it gets to the ones I grill at home. A week later I visited my friend in Herndon and told him that I had finally found the place that had the best steaks in NoVA, well.....he wanted to visit but there was no way in hell I'd drive back to Woodbridge and back to Herndon in ONE day. So, decided to google and voila! There is one in Ashburn. Excellent, we went to that one and the steaks were excellent, had never had better rib eyes in NoVa and we've visited OUtback and Long Horn and both failed miserably, so bad that I haven't been to those in over 10 years. Burguer though, I had one because I wanted to try one but really wasn't that great, so I'll just stick with the bone-in rib eye. The staff members were great, but a couple of them (not ours in our visit in Woodbridge), needed to do a little smiling. The waiter in Ashburn was fantastic, very nice. Left the usual 20% tip.

Remember those Val-Pak coupon junk you receive in the mail? I was bored one day and looked through it and found a coupon for this place. So the hubby and I figured we could try it out. Definitely not disappointed! The food is amazing; hostesses are wonderful, and the servers have been very attentive and great. Not bad... Our first visit: Ordered prime rib w/ gratin potatoes and veggies of the day (squash and zucchini); Sirloin w/ veggies of the day and lobster bisque soup; Got some hot, fluffy, soft dinner rolls (omg I want some now); and buffalo chicken wings (crispy, good amt of sauce, laid on a bed of crispy fries) Second visit: Ordered wings again Nachos Sirloin w/ mushrooms and potato gratin; Ahi Tuna Salad Dinner Rolls (so amazing; I just thought of Chris Farley's crazy restaurant dinner roll scene in Tommy Boy lol) All delicious, amazing, steak was tender and cooked just how we wanted (Med Well). Will definitely come back again and try the NY Strip. Nom nom. Go try it out!

This All American Steakhouse is pretty good! The staff here are really nice and most are helpful. I haven't had a bad food experience except for the potato au gratin, of which were swimming in grease. The rolls they give you are good, but I miss the butter these rolls were marinated in. Overall the waiters are fast and the restaurants are pretty clean. The two issues I have with this place are the dim lighting and the old and outdated cloth on the booths. Other than that the food is good and comes out quick. My recommendation for here are the Fajitas. They are always good and cooked to perfection!

I love the food here. It delicious and always tastes freshly made. I have eaten inside the restaurant and I have gotten the food to go. With both experiences I often encounter fast and friendly service. I have only been here during the day when its not too busy. The best time to go if you dont like crowds or loud noises is to go during the day.

Had company, so ordered 4 dinners to carryout after much difficulty trying to place order by phone - no language barrier except I honestly think the person taking my order has a learning disability. The order was wrong because they put more expensive items in, but I felt sorry for the young man, so just paid and left. No complaints about food - actually quite good!

  • Charles B.

Very inconsistent food quality. I never order a steak here anymore as it's always undercooked. I order medium rare, it comes out rare every time. Staff is polite, but some of the young staff don't seem to have a clue. The grilled chicken sandwich is good, but don't get the steak!

  • Robyn K.

Standard American steak house. It wasn't stellar but it worked. There was no wait for a table which was nice. I had the grilled chicken. It wasn't bone in chicken. It was boneless skinless chicken breast. It tasted a lot like the chicken I make at home. Nothing special. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't amazing.

3.5 stars. It's a decent, local bar/hangout. The servers are usually pretty attentive, however, the kitchen service is spotty. Usually the food is pretty good, but sometimes it's not. Also, I really wish they didn't completely cover every inch of their steaks in black pepper. It's a bit much. I just scrape it off and it's fine, though.

The building is a little older, but it is clean and nice inside. We've been here several times and have never had a bad dish or experience. It is consistently good. I understand that it's a local chain, but this one is the only one I've been to so far. But, if I do run across one of the others in the MD/VA area, I'll definitely not hesitate to check it out! This is an old review. Unfortunately, a few months ago (~August 2014), they quit brewing their tea and started serving Gold Peak. I went back in mid-October to see if they were still doing that. Too bad, they are. I guess we will find a new favorite hangout.

An American Steakhouse in Woodbridge and I was starving so decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was completely forgettable and it is doubtful that I will make a repeat visit. The restaurant is loud, really loud and there are numerous TVs and a juke box. The environment was not relaxing or inviting at all. My server was attentive and nice. She brought us some warm bread which had the promise of being good but I didn't think that it was quite cooked all the way through. My son and I split the 14 ounce ribeye and a loaded baked potato. The steak was a disappointment. It was not the succulent ribeye that I had envisioned. In fact it was thin and not cooked to the medium temperature that we ordered. I'm sure they would have re-fired the meat if I'd asked but, remember, I was starving! If I lived in the area I might make a repeat visit just because it has potential to be a decent neighborhood wateringhole/dining spot but I will not drive out of my way to revisit the All American Steakhouse.

We frequent this place often and the food is good. We mainly get carry out. There was one time where I may have gotten food poisoning with the fish and chips, however I just never got that again and I haven't had any issues. So that is why I gave 3/5 stars. Otherwise would have gotten a 4.

Baby back ribs are amazing and the service is great 10% active duty military discounts.

  • Jeff G.

My first time. Really excellent service. In fact the waiter actually shook my hand. First time ever for that one. I had the tortilla chips appetizer, Hawaiian burger, and fries. Everything was great. The only issue was the lobster bisque soup. That was not so good, had to be from a can, pure liquid, kind do like salt soup.

  • Wai W.

Friendly and very attentive service, a really good place for steaks and sports. Many TVs to watch various sports while you chow down. To start off the dinner rolls are fantastic. They are freshly baje, out of the oven HOT. Even better they are served with honey whipped butter. This alone is worth stopping by! I had the prime rib with creamy horseradish, made perfect. 2 signature sides with your entree, I went with lobster bisque and a loaded potato, both also good. We order the buffalo wings but it didn't have enough sauce to coat them completely, a little disappointed but it change my overall positive eating experience. If I find myself back in this area, I will come back for the steaks as they are prepared correctly and you get your fill. You include the service and the dinner rolls, it is worth the visit and drive.

The first thing you notice when you enter is the meat on display not unlike a butcher shop. The very well dressed hostesses were very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was very attentive and professional. Food was nice for the price. We both got the 10 ounce filets cooked medium which were certainly not prime but very good center cut tenderloin. Pleasant experience

We went in for an early dinner at 415pm on Friday - the place was packed and pretty loud. The hostess was very pleasant and seated us quickly. The waitress greeted us and took drink orders within 3 minutes and returned within a decent amount of time to take our food orders. The food came out quickly. We ordered two appetizers, chicken quesadillas and spinach artichoke dip. Both were decent, but not spectacular. Rolls were ok. We ordered steak, mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were very tasty, although a bit more gristle than we would have preferred. Sides were decent. We ordered chicken tender kid meals as well. Their assessment - they liked the taste, but would have preferred more crunch to both the chicken and the fries. All in all we would rate this place as fair/decent in the food arena. Might go back, might not.

Love this place, friendly hometown feel. Steaks and prime rib are awesome. Wish they actually streamed the shrimp, instead of microwaved. Wtf!

I love this place ! Great tasty food , great steaks , great service , and lovely atmosphere but could do better in terms of decorations !! But their food is soooo good .. I would recommend the chicken Qaisidilla and the spinach dip as starters , also recommend the prime rib steak , the chieken and need fajitas , and the blackened chicken pasta !!

  • Holly M.

Ate here Fri night w my husband and our 2 little girls. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean. The bread was really good. We had onion rings as an app and they were perfectly cooked and tasty. I had the philly steak sandwich which was delicious, but the fries were average and next time I'll skip them. My oldest had a cheeseburger which she loved, and my youngest had the chx fingers which were also very good. We all split the apple bread pudding for dessert. It was absolutely delicous!!

This place had alot of potential but the atmosphere is very neighborhood pub like. Even in the family resteraunt side. I felt like we might as well have been sitting at the bar. The music was way too loud. The food WAS NOT GOOD. Wont be going back. The sauteed mushrooms were bland and the broccoli seemed like they just washed it in real hot water. They shoulve just brought a bowl of dip out to the table with the broccoli. Rolls were doughy and not salted. No real taste. Real bread lovers such as myself would not be happy. there was NO kids menu. the waitress just spouted out whatever they had available for kids. kids wanted apple juice the waitress brought back juice boxes. BOO! I asked for a medium steak and got a rare steak. Good thing is the manager came over immediately and made sure all was well. my dinner was on the house.

Fyi...we chose to NOT visit here because they do not have nutrition info on their website or in-store. This was confirmed by a manager. Seems a little unusual for this day in age.

Today I stopped by All American Steakhouse at Woodbridge, VA and got the salad for lunch takeout. Let's just say McDonald salad is much better and worth every penny than the half ass salad from this establishment.

  • Matt W.

This place used to be hit or miss. Sometimes it was good, sometimes you got the bad server, bad steak, etc. But on my last few visits, it seems to have improved significantly. Excellent service, great food, and amazing bread fresh out of the oven. Met a few of the servers at the "taste of lakeridge" who were very nice and gave me a huge bowl of the chicken pasta. It was excellent! See you there!

Seafood, steak and 'sports theater' , quite a combination. Had a biz trip in Tidewater and was looking for some good fish and a place to watch the Nats @ Braves on the road back home. Yelp search tool works again. What a great app when you are on the road and need valuable info in real time. I was really surprised to see the parking lot full on a Tuesday evening. I ended up having to park in the Capitol One Bank lot across the way. Once I walked in the door, I could see why. the place was humming with activity. The young red headed man at the reception desk couldn't tell me what the fish special was even though it was scrawled in brink pink chalk on the board behind him I found a seat at the bar among a mix of what appeared to the after work business crowd and casual locals. Victoria behind the bar greeted me with a smile and a menu. I had the mequite grilled salmon with a garden salad and a loaded baked potato. The salad came out quick and I could immediately tell it was fresh and look delicious. Shortly after came the entree and it was better than I had hoped. a quality meal with beverage for $20 bucks, this is value for your hard earlned dollars my friends. A great menu selection, excellent service and super atmosphere. This is the place on game day. They have a room full of 70 inch HD's...soemthing tuned for everyone.

Excellent food, great bread. A little pricey but we had a coupon that made it more reasonable. More booths and less tv would be great.

Love the steaks here, great service, you can call ahead as well. We always get the steamed shrimp and the steak cowboys, delish! We're not sold with the broccoli and cheese soup though, a little salty but everything else is great, highly recommended restaurant

I have eaten at this restaurant enough to know that they do a great job. The rolls are great but not for your diet. The steak is delicious I usually get the filet mignon medium. The specialize in scalloped potatoes that are out of this world I think they've won some kind of award.

    (4)
  • Natalie F.

Steaks are cooked to perfection! Juicy & tender! The all American house special (filet mignon w/ goat cheese, sautéed onions and Marsala) is delicious! Melts in your mouth! This place definitely have the best steaks in town!

  • Jesse S.

The only good thing I can say is that we were seated promptly and the service was good. We were seated right next to the entrance to the restrooms (why are there tables right next to the restrooms?) and I spent the whole night gagging on the smell of freshly used toilet. The entire restaurant smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I asked the waitress if people are allowed to smoke here and she confirmed that they are. I can't believe that in the year 2013, people are still allowed to smoke in restaurants. I don't care if I'm technically in the south - it isn't right. If I had known, I never would have come in here, and regardless of how good the food is, I will never come back. By the way, the food wasn't that good. The dinner rolls tasted like air, although the butter that was served with it was good. The rolls were basically a butter delivery mechanism. The french fries were obviously store-bought and straight-from-the-bag frozen and fried. I ordered the filet mignon medallion kebob something or other. There was one cube of filet that was cooked correctly (medium). Two of the others were cooked medium-well and two were cooked well and burnt. In addition to being cooked to death, the meat wasn't marinated or seasoned - not even salt or pepper. Big disappointment. Who serves unseasoned meat? The vegetables were burnt to a crisp, charred, and inedible. The rice was a tiny scoop and I had to ask for more. The mashed potatoes had no taste and I didn't eat them.

Although service was a little slow the food was phenomenal and the waitress were very help. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here at least once. My new favorite steakhouse in Woodbridge!

We've been here several times since they're a block from our house and there are lots of positives to go along with one fairly big negative. First, the food. It is consistently very good. Their rolls are excellent and we've had most of their appetizers and are always satisfied. Their steaks are excellent and burgers and sandwiches are too. Tonight I had the Philly cheesesteak, my daughter had some sides and my wife had salmon, green beans an day gratin potatoes. My cheesesteak was fantastic and had real meat instead of the steakumm type stuff you usually get. My wife absolutely raved about her salmon and sides. If you like a decent mid price steakhouse this place can do it. It has a large bar but is very family friendly. They have face painting and balloon animals every once in a while. There's a good kids menu and with the multiple tv's their is always one or two with Nickelodeon or some other cartoon. The big problem for us is it's always super hot in there. We've been there in all types of weather and it never fails to make us walk out sweaty. Some places I chalk that up to my wife being nuts because she could overheat in a snowstorm but it affects me in the same way. So if you can take the heat go ahead and come on in for a good meal.

  • Han V.

The steaks here were decent and I thought the portions were fairly generous. The steaks themselves were cooked properly and the sides were pretty standard. I thought my prime rib was pretty tender and had a good amount of seasoning. Service is also standard--nothing stellar but also nothing to gripe about either. One complaint I do have is that it was a too dark inside so it's a little difficult to see exactly what you're eating. Food: 3 Value: 3 Service: 3 Overall: 3

I've been here a handful of times over the past couple of years and while the food has never been anything to write home about, it was never this bad. American Steakhouse, like many other establishments, serves free bread. As a matter of fact, their yeast rolls were the only reason I kept coming back. On this day, however, i was severely disappointed. We reached in the basket for our rolls and immediately realized they were cold. Now for the food. The three other people in my party ordered soup (French Onion) w/ a side and enjoyed it....I, on the other hand, went with a steak salad. My thinking was that you can't go wrong with a salad--it turns out, you absolutely can! The steak was flavorless (what respectable steakhouse doesn't season their steak?!?!?!), and the lettuce was beyond wilted and browning. All American was always hit or miss before, but they were so far from getting it right this time that I won't be going back again.

  • Bil G.

For some reason this place has really gone downhill. The last prime rib I ate there was so bad I complained and they took the prime rib off the bill. And then I came back and tried the kabob and the meat was really tough. So I've had it with this place. I'll eat at the other place which is off 234 close to Sprigs Road.

  • Anita G.

We come to this restaurant often, and they are consistently good. Service is almost always very prompt and friendly -- I can think of only one occasion when it took a long time to receive our meal, so that was an anomaly. Their filet mignon is fabulous, and I love this with sweet potato and sautéed mushrooms. Yum! One word of warning: the rolls and honey butter they bring out to your table before the meal are addicting! I try to skip the rolls most times, but hey -- I'm not made of wood, people. If you're looking for a good steak house with a "sports bar" sorta vibe, this is your place. Note for families: the dining room is separate from the sports bar section, so it's perfectly fine to bring your kids.

Great steaks, great burgers, friendly staff. Why would anyone go to outback when this awesome small business is here?

  • Jodi C.

I had no idea this place was even here! Totally random spot, but I may have found a new dinner spot. The restaurant is huge, and I love the separated areas. Two dining rooms and a separate bar. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was on the ball, our drink order was taken as soon as we sat down and kept them coming all night. The food was good, loved the honey butter for the rolls. There was a bit of a mix up on the steak temperatures but nothing major. (For whatever reason it is hard to get a steak medium rare around here.) The crab cake was good, but different. HUGE chunks of crab... yum, but had a weird cheese sauce in them. Give them place a shot; I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was.

  • Walt K.

Can't speak to the food but the service was abysmal and probably reflects how clean the kitchen/food is. We arrived yesterday around 2:30 and asked to be seated in the dining area. The hostess took us to our table and dropped the menu on the floor. She proceeded to pick up the menu off the floor and put it on the table. pretty disgusting if you ask me. I asked her about it and expected she would grab us a new menu and wipe the table. Instead she turned to me and said that "menus probably getted dropped on the floor all the time" and walked away. We proceeded to leave and told them so at the front door. I wasn't going to give them any of my business if they cared so little about serving me correctly. If they care so little about what happens in the front of the restaurant, I can only imagine what disgusting things happen where no one can see.

As a business owner, I know that quality of help can vary from time to time. Quality help can add quite a bit to the experience whether in the kitchen or at your table. I live 30 minutes away from the restaurant, and I have patronized them at least a dozen times. Almost all visits were worth commendation. A misstep on occasion does not deserve the assault found in other reviews.

    (4)
  • Josh L.

against my better judgement came here again, another takeout fail. they always forget something without fail, at least they are consistent with that. a note the proprietor: you really need to inject some quality control into your takeout people, most other restaurants seem to get it right so i figure with a little effort you can too. the food is decent and for the most part tasty depending on what you order.

  • Antoinne B.

Maaaaan! I went on NFL draft day and all I can say is that the Bourbon Steak is amazing. They provide free mouth watering rolls as well! The place is very spacious and the wait staff is friendly. I've been a total of two times and on both occasions I saw the manager walking around greeting people and even delivering orders! You don't see that very often.

    (4)
  • Kathy P.

We go here quite often as it's convenient for us, and we don't have to deal with all the traffic around Potomac Mills. The food is good, and if you're in the mood to watch a sporting event, you just have to locate it above you on one of the TVs that surround the dining area. The best part is that they are not all turned on, and the noise level is pretty good when the room is full. My favorite appetizer is the fresh fried Mozzarella with Red pepper sauce. Just give me a salad with these and it's my favorite meal. I love the salad choices here too, and the Buttermilk Ranch dressing is to die for! The crab legs are better here than the well known seafood place (does "red" give you enough of a hint?). The only part I would say disappoints is that there was always a great Face Painter there for years from Face Odyssey that they no longer sponsor on kids nights. Too bad they didn't recognize her true value of providing entertainment for kids while they waited for their food.

This restaurant is one of the hidden jewels of Lake Ridge and is my favorite steak house over all the others. Quite frankly Outback stinks these days, so does Lone Star. In my opinion, LongHorn is overpriced and Logan's is just not quite as good. If you want to go out for steak and at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. The meat is top quality and they cook them over a wood stove right before your very eyes. It's great entertainment to show your kids how the food is cooked as they have a glass partition between the customers and the grill next to the waiting area. The flames shooting up around the meat is always a crowd pleaser for the kids. They have a most excellent prime rib. I usually get that with a baked potato and vegetables - I never go home hungry. They also offer some of the best salads i nthe area. The lettuce and veggies are always fresh, cold and crispy with really good dressings. They have television screens surrounding the entire restaurant and there is multiple sports on all of them. There is also a full service bar that is separated from the rest of the establishment which is always extremely popular and crowded every night I have been there. Only minus I can mention is that the place can be loud and the parking lot does not meet demand and you might have to park a little ways away from the front door.

    (5)
  • D W.

We go here often. They are consistent. Good service, good food, great house salad, good coupon deals available and discounts through Costco. It's not gourmet but a good spot for a burger or steak when you are hungry and don't like to go to the chains.

  • Joseph O.

The bar area is FULL of large screens w/ games!!! HUGE plus. The negative that trumps ALL...you can smoke in the bar area. I hate that. I don't smoke and don't want to smell like an ashtray. Big turn off. I would give it 4-5 stars, but the smoking killed it for me. So I drop it. If I could give it a zero, O would. Smoking inside sucks!! For that reason, I will never come back, till that changes.

I am another fan of the prime rib. I'd love to try the other steaks and I have heard that they are good, but I just keep getting the prime rib. It is really juicy, tender and flavorful. I have been told that the seafood is, while good, not a stand out. This is definitely a place to get steak. I like the salad and the various side dishes which are of higher than average quality. Also the wings are really excellent, I love the buffalo kind. The staff is really accommodating and helpful. My only negative comments are that the back of the restaurant is a bit dark and also it seems like a few of the dishes can be hit or miss. The prime rib is definitely a hit though. This is a great place. Maybe at some point, they will get some kind of outdoor terrace for the warmer months. This restaurant is a good value.

1/1/15: Update. I've been back here a few times since last writing. They are still doing a great job. I'm not sure why the mixed reviews. The bone-in rib-eye was fantastic, as was the crab cake. I'm pretty picky when it comes to good steak, and this one was juicy, tender, and VERY flavorful. I watched the manager pitch in and help the wait staff because it was much busier than they expected on New Year's Day. All in all, it was an excellent dining experience! My wife and I will definitely be coming back. 12/21/2013 : This place has stepped it up, and in my opinion, getting much better! There was a time when it seemed to be going downhill--dry steaks, poor service, etc. But the last couple times I've been in, they were doing MUCH better. Steaks are very good, burgers, etc. And the chicken wings are spectacular--slightly crispy outside, juicy inside. I may go back just for the wings! Keep up the good work, you're heading in the right direction!!

I'd never had prime rib before coming here, but ordered it based off of Yelp reviews.. my mistake. I was grossed out. I don't know if it's the restaurant's fault, or if I'm just not a Prime Rib guy, but I did not like it one bit. It was lukewarm and had a weird mushy wet texture. (mind you, I love steak and order it done Medium) Nothing else stood out, just a mediocre place.

Always a good choice for a reasonably-priced family meal. Good steaks, good seafood, and the best ribs on this side of Woodbridge. Service is generally good, though wait times can be long. The only complaint I can raise would be the environment can be a bit loud.

  • Angela S.

Over the past two years we have eaten here (Woodbridge location) many, many times. The service and food are consistently good! We have never waited long and enjoy being seated in the large booths. There are tvs, some which show cartoons and the kids love this. But the tv's do not feel intrusive because they are so high up, they are also easy to ignore if you want to. The free rolls are delicious. I love the chicken fajitas but occasionally enjoy the delicious steak. Kids meals come with a aide and my kids get baked sweet potatoes instead of the usual fries! We all look forward to eating here, we feel like it's a family tradition now. I definitely recommend this location for a great meal in a great atmosphere!

I would be remiss if I didn't update my previous review. Since the last time I reviewed All American Steakhouse they've come under new management and also remodeled. And boy oh boy what an improvement they made! I now love this place and would not hesitate to name it one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Woodbridge. The food is consistently good. The service is a bit hit or miss but really just fluctuates between great and good. My favorite waitress is Kyla/Kayla/Kyra I feel bad that I don't remember her name but she's awesome nonetheless. She always provides prompt and friendly service and more important she's very patient with my son (He's 3 and if you have a 3 year old, let alone a boy, I don't need to say anything else because I know you know! Did I mention kids eat free on wednesday nights!) Since my last visit I have actually gone to the "non-smoking sports theater" several times and I must say I enjoy the large screens. It makes enjoying your meal and sporting event so much easier so you're not awkwardly leaning over someone else's table/meal to see the TV. I also liked the atmosphere and the crowd that came to watch the games. Each time I enjoyed myself and this has really become my go to spot for watching any game outside of home or a private party. The decor is generally the same. Even with the remodel they kept the same dingy booths but as I said before they're not disgusting and haven't caused me a moment's hesitation when it comes to plopping my butt in one of them for some food! I've tried different entrees from burgers to wings to the fajitas. They're all very good! I absolutely love this place. I'm a super regular here even though my check-ins don't reflect that. I eat here at least once a week sometimes two LOL! I LOVE this place!

I can't say enough about this place! It was our first time dining there so I wasn't expecting anything in particular. How pleasantly suprising! We started with crab dip which was good (not great but definitely good.) I had the fish and chips which was cooked perfectly, and my companion had the pork chops which were INCREDIBLY moist and flavorful. Our server Alisha was very friendly, efficient, and attentive. Even the yeast rolls with honey butter were amazing. Reasonably priced and very much worth every penny. Met the manager Joe (also very very friendly) who came to check on our meals and hopefully had his evening made when we said how great everything was. Entirely great experience. Will definitely be returning often.

Predictably delicious food served here. Never disappointed with anything I order from their menu :)

Great service, great management (when Alison is there) and great food. Sometimes the wait is a little annoying, and we've had them occasionally goof up something, but they always recover. I am impressed by this place and we continue to go back almost every week. Prime Rib is fantastic, ribs are great, burgers are well done, and my all-time favorite is the buffalo chicken wrap (with grilled chicken) - just make sure they put celery in it!! The rolls are amazing and the happy hour is worth getting there early. The only thing I wish we could change is that the bar be non-smoking all the time!

I had driven by this place before but never tried it. Once I did it was a pleasant surprise. It's a decent steakhouse/sports bar type place and everything we ordered was good. I'm a prime rib snob and this one definitely didn't disappoint. No complaints about the service and prices are pretty reasonable.

After reading reviews and friends telling us they loved it, we decided to try it out. Maybe the chef was having a bad day or something but the food we received was horrible. The lettuce in my salad tasted old and bitter and some pieces were brown. I order a sirloin medium well, I received a very well done, very peppery, dry sirloin. There wasn't even any juice on the plate. The baked potato was probably the best thing about my meal. My husband ordered the prime rib and said it was very "blah" there was no taste to it, he put some horseradish sauce on it to give it some sort of taste. the garlic mashed potatoes that he received as his side were VERY garlicy. We won't be going back to this place. Gave it two stars - service was good and the bar looked nice.

Good place for a good steak and Caesar salad. Crab dip is also pretty good. Service is spotty at times but ok most of the time.

If i'm in Woodbridge and looking for a steak, this place is on my list. My boyfriend, the most serious carnivore I know, and I go to Steakhouse often. He always gets the prime rib and I love the steak on salads, the wings, and the crab dip. We usually have great service and have a fun time at the bar watching sports. The atmosphere on game day is probably the same as it is in your living room when rowdy rivals come together for the game. The bathrooms could use an upgrade and the whole place has an old sports bar kind of feel but it is clean and laid back. My biggest critique is that they got rid of Blue Moon for Shock Top...sad.

Prime Rib and baked sweet potato are fantastic. Happy hour is marginal at best.

First time being here and I totally regretted it. The food was ok but the service was awful!!! I will never try this place again and I feel so generous giving them one star.

I went there for the Superbowl and had a nice time. The food was good and at a great price. Their staff is very honest. I left my debit card there by mistake and didn't think to call them until a week later! The waitress had turned it in and I was able to retrieve it . They get a thumbs up in my opninon. :-)

A favorite. I usually take the family here when they visit from out of town. The food is good. I recommend the rib eye and the fajitas - chicken or steak. The service is inconsistent. They seem to have a lot of turnover of the wait staff. Once they are trained, service is good. They have a separate bar and restaurant - and it is not smokey - the restaurant.

I should have turned around when we walked in and the steaks in the display case were gray and green around the edges. Our waitress was very nice, and the salad was delicious, with dates and pine nuts. There ends my positive review. The delmonico that my husband got was gristly and tough, and the potatoes au gratin were scalloped, with very little cheese and an abundance of black pepper. Not a little pepper to season, but rather a mouthful of black pepper....hooo! I tried to order my filet Pittsburgh, and was told that they couldn't cook it that way because it was a fire hazard. Uh, seriously? You can't cook a steak because you might burn the place down? What kind of steakhouse is this? Then, to add insult to injury, the steak was cold when it came out, so boo for that. I don't recommend this place. If you want a good steak, try DC Chophouse or Ruth's Chris. If those places are out of your range, buy a good steak and cook it at home. You'll be better off in the long run.

Great place! I've eaten here quite a bit and the food is always outstanding. I like the ribeye especially. Their fish is excellent - they even serve grouper, which you don't see many restaurants do.The rolls are now world famous and the salads are always fresh. The staff and management are very good. The wood paneling throughout gives it a luxurious, classy feel. Lots of TVs placed strategically for a good view everywhere, with every sport you can think of on, as well as some kid shows. I've been in the bar a few times. It's a little tight at times, but mainly due to it being a popular hangout and everyone jams in there. The bartenders are pretty on top of things. Oh, try the bread pudding if you're into desserts, it is awesome!

Have been here a few times and I usually get the prime rib.. It is a well portioned meal and I especially love the sides they give you. I usually get their sweet potatoe. Very yummy.

I've been to this restaurant several times, and have been fairly pleased with the service and food. As far as Lake Ridge is concerned, this is probably the closest place to get a good piece of meat. This place has the feel of a sports bar, with a separately ventilated bar room with big screens for smokers. I've only sat in the restaurant area, but the bar seems to be popular, with several big projection screens for watching games. The food is pretty good - salads, chicken, steaks, kabobs, made to order burgers, ribs, etc. This place is quite popular, and almost always has a good crowd around the dinner hours - especially on weekends. Despite this, I've only had a wait once - they seem to have a good amount of seating. As far as local sports bar in Lake Ridge are concerned, this is the nicest.

Great happy hour location. The bar is smoke-free until 9pm and the beer was $2.25. Our happy hour crew had a great time. Haven't eaten there myself but several others enjoyed their meal. Service was good and very friendly.

Great happy hour! Super cheap tall beers! And discounted appetizers! Bar area is clean and nice. Good place to watch games drink beers and eat bar food. I've never eaten in main restaurant area. I suggest wings, quesadilla, and new chicken tenders! They are like real chicken! Not frozen junk u get most places! good neighborhood corner bar!

I have severe food allergies and most restaurants are good about working with me. I came into The All American Steakhouse for a late lunch with a friend. I ordered a chicken salad and told the waitress to check with the chef to make sure it could be made with no black pepper. The waiter came back and said I would have to switch salads because the chicken was pre-made with black pepper. Such is the case with many restaurants and from personal experience you can learn the true value of a place by having allergies. My dining companion got their food first because of all the back and forth conversations with the cook. They made my salad and brought it out to me covered with black pepper. I sent it back and a very perky waitress told me, and get this, "The cook thought that maybe you weren't really that allergic to black pepper so he put it on your salad.". I explained that black pepper could put me in the hospital. My second salad arrived as my dining companion was just finishing his meal. I ate my salad and when I got towards the last bite my mouth filled with the unmistakable taste of black pepper. UNBELIEVABLE! The cook had scraped the chicken covered in black pepper off my salad but didn't replace the lettuce underneath. I had an allergic reaction and instead of returning to work had to sleep the rest of the afternoon. The waiter took forever in between coming to check on us and there was barely anyone in the dinning room. Will not be returning here!

Of course this is kinda one of my regular spots...well my husband's. So we fall up in there and order the usual Turkey Burger for me and a Rib-eye, salad and baked potato for my husband, a beer for him and of course a Mojito for me. What, you're out of Mint Leaves..WTF. Just as soon as the waiter said it, I said "I'm blasting y'all on YELP", he ran out and over to Safe-way and bought back Mint Leaves for the bar. I had my Mojita...well actually two of them; pretty damn good. I was satisfied and tipped the server well. He didn't have to do that for me. Truly impressed.

We've been there three times now and have been pleased each time. The food has been very good with generous portions. My husband had the mahi and shrimp and it was really delicious. My chicken fajitas were really good and of course the hot yeast rolls are outstanding. it was busy but our service was speedy and she checked back with us numerous times. Lots of TVs for the sports fans but not so distracting you can't carry on a conversation.

I was quite impressed with this place. I'd driven past it many times and even been in that shopping center in other establishments, but I have we had not gone into this place until just this past month (despite having lived down the street from it for 4 years). The atmosphere is that of a sports bar. There is a bar room with big screen TVs all over the place as well as tables. Then, there is a separate dining room, which still maintains a bit of a sports bar/texas steakhouse kind of feel to it. This is where we ate. The food was quite good. I got prime rib and it was fantastic... the au jus and horseradish that was served with it complimented it perfectly. The loaded baked potato was salted, and for me, a baked potato with a nice kosher salt rub on the skin is heavenly. My only complaint was our server, but it honestly seemed like she was new to the job, so I don't want to totally dog her. My drink sometimes took a little too long to be refilled and she sometimes vanished for extended periods of time. But, if she was indeed new, then I kind of understand. Overall, quite a good experience and I would definitely go back.

The cheese fries were not very cheesy at all, of the 6 meals my family ordered only 1 came to the table as we had ordered them. Our server Shelly was extremely professional and helpful. The manager was apologetic, understanding and right on top of the problems. While the food may be awful there is hope for this place if they find kitchen staff to match the front of house.

Class. Pure and utter class. My last review about this establishment had it's ups and downs. By downs though I only meant the service. I had no deep inclination to return to the restaurant until the GM, Melvin, invited me back in order to, "show me the service that they are truly known for." Not only did they met those high expectations they set for themselves but they exceeded them. My table ordered a vast array of entrees just to verify their culinary expertise. The food came out perfect and timely, the drink cups were never near empty, and out salad plates were cleared before we could even smell the entrees wofting our way. It's moments like that which remind me why they have been a such a major player in the Woodbridge area.

I ate here last night and was a little disappointed. I was excited to find that a Steakhouse was in the area and finally tried it out. I ordered a medium done 8 oz filet mignon and it came med well to well done. They did make a new one and it came out perfect, but was still disappointed that a steak restaurant could not cook it right the first time. The service was great and they did comp me a free drink. It took over 10 minutes to find parking. Overall, this is not a place that I will go back to.

Good restaurant. There was a time where I had a few visits last year and my food came out incorrect (my steak coming out too well done or too rare), but nothing has happened since that time. Overall good food, service is good too.

Great casual dining. Steaks are great and salads are yummy. Service is pretty quick. Easy place to bring the kids. Several televisions all around. One usually has some sort of kid programming

I was not pleased with this place, the food was so-so. The steak was good and that's about it. I also had a ceasar salad which was sweet as well as the mashed potatoes. The biscuits they give you are fantastic though. None of this makes me want to return.

Salad used to be good but mixed green salad gone down so bad that looked like someone threw left over salad together. Prime rib is good for $15.

This place sounded really good and smelled really good when I walked in. The service was great. I loved my appetizer and salad and bread. But then I got my entree. I ordered fish. It was so salty that I couldn't even eat it. My mom had gotten shrimp and hers was the same way. I thought maybe I just shouldn't have gotten fish, maybe I should have gotten steak. But one of my neighbors without me having told her I had been there told me she went and didn't like it because the steak was way too salty. So that confirmed it for me, they just pour on the salt to the point that it's disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this place for that reason alone.

Went there with a friend who lives nearby. Never again. Ordered draft Yuengling -- tasted stale, way too stale. Now, the atmosphere -- it's very loud in the dining area. So loud I had to walk out to talk on the phone. And I was looking forward to a quiet dinner and a "get together". I ordered NY Strip medium-rare and my friend got a sirloin steak kabob. My strip was uniform in thickness, yet was cooked differently throughout. My steak was well done at the edges and gradually became medium-well at the middle. No part of it was medium-rare as I ordered. Besides, my "hand-cut dry aged steak" had quite a few cartilage "inserts". Nothing more exciting than pulling one of them out your mouth... My friend's kabob was pieces of sirloin grilled on skewers. It was a nice cooked steak that was completely spoiled by their marinade. Mashed potatoes were OK (I guess you can't screw them up). Broccoli was extremely mushy and screamed "microwave" and "I was frozen". Never again I am coming back. And I strongly suggest you avoid this place also.

I want to like this place so much. it quaint and family friendly, but the service is miserable. you can either really win or really lose when it comes to servers and cooking. I wish they would get a better staff bc my family and I actually enjoy the atmosphere and location, and even the food when its a good night.

My 2 stars is based solely on the service and not the food. The food was good. Buffalo Tenders and a Hamburger were ordered and both were good. It's the service that keeps this rating down. I went in alone for lunch and was seated quickly as they definitely were not busy. After quite a while no one came over to wait on me and I almost got up and left. A server finally came over and asked in a tone letting me know (whoops) have you been waited on yet? Once this started it never improved. The server was nice and personable and maybe she was covering tables in the closed off bar section so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. My iced tea I ordered was nothing but water so that was eventually straightened out. I tenders came out fast enough so no problems there. I then ordered a Hamburger and proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait some more. I wondered if they were butchering the cow for me. It finally arrived and it was good. Due to all the waiting I drank my tea quickly as the glasses are small enough. She brought one refill w/o me asking then I had to request another one as it was obvious I had my allotment of tea for the day. I finshed my meal and sat there waiting, and waiting and waiting some more for my server to bring my check. I never even saw her for the longest time leading me to believe she was likely in the bar area. I finally got up and went looking for my bill. The lade sitting across from me looked at me and asked "Are you still waiting?" Once I got the bill and paid I had a chance to unload on the manager. (Never saw a manager during my entire meal asking customers how things were going) HHe apologized and gave me a card offering a free dinner. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back or not but a 2nd chance might be in order.

The food was incredibly salty. Even my seasonal veggie side dish was made inedible due to the volume of salt. Our server never once visited after the food was served to even see if everything was OK. Plus, it took forever for our food to leave the kitchen. We knew we were forgotten, however, when ALL of the tables that came in at the same time or after us, left well before our meals even arrived. Oh, and you can still get a good lungful of cigarette smoke coming from the 'closed off' bar area. Shocker that when the door to the bar opens, the stench escapes. I will not be going back.

i am only giving one star because this review is about one thing.......the bartenders. they are horrid. more on that later. as far as the restaurant, good food, good service, love the crab legs, no complaints. lately, i've been stopping into the bar on friday nights for a couple drinks and food to go for me and the wife. the bartending at this place is so bad......almost non existent. most times, i'm at the bar, drinkless for 5 or 10 minutes either without being noticed or being noticed and ignored because i'm not friends with any of the bartenders. all they do is stand around and talk to "regulars" or their friends. after i finish my drink, i wait FOREVER for them to ask me if i'd like another. i've been to hundreds of bars in my life, this one has by far the worst bartenders i've ever encountered. it's pretty easy to make good money tending bar. don't let me sit there drinkless and don't be an asshole. if you can do those two things, i am going to tip you well. #rantover

NY Strip was ok, but cool to the touch. Asked for MR but came medium. Potato (all sides) are ala carte. No decaf coffee available. Too many minuses compared to pluses. TVs all around showing sports to news to kids cartoons. It is a family restuarant with face painting for the kids (when we were there) and pichers of soda for them. A bit loud but ok.

The service was amazing and the atmosphere is awesome! Several TVs all around and a nice bar area with big screen TVs in there with a circle bar and bar table! My steak was great but the regular drink selection could use some more drinks as our custom made Half and Half (Arnold Palmer) tasted like water! Best thing about the place was the service and my steak which was Medium Well near protection!
