As healthy eaters, we are generally very apprehensive about "buffets". We simply eat too much when we go to a buffet. Tonight was no exception but we were pleasantly surprised! As avid weight lifters, protein is important which was the attraction to Charbroil Grill. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed with the ambiance. The greeters were well dressed and all of the servers were dressed in long aprons which is the norm at fine restaurants. We were seated at a window table and were greeted within one minute. Our server immediately brought is cheese bread but we declined. The menu is a prix fix at about $30 per person minus drinks. The "buffet" is not big but very unique in its offerings. Basic salad items but also some great sides and apps. We loved the fresh round of Romano cheese. Next, the servers came around with the various proteins. Prime rib, pork, turkey, sausage, lamb, salmon. All were very good. The young severs were also very nice and congenial. Overall, it was a great experience. The price was fine but we did eat too much. This was definitely our cheat meal!! There were several big (20+) parties there so they must be attractive.

Just okay. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. The love and I went for lunch on a Saturday and there weren't many patrons there. We were seated immediately and given the drink menu. Nice atmosphere and they had the march madness on the tv screen, not something you'd see in other steakhouses in the area. I didn't opt for the salad bar because I thought I was going to be given multiple choices of meats however when the time came for the servers to come around they only brought out few and select dishes. The manager (I'm assuming) came around to ask everyone how there meals were and he noticed my plate was nearly bare. He asked if there was a particular cut of meat i was waiting on which was nice however the 45 minutes we were there I was only offered bacon wrapped turkey, sausage and top sirloin.

Second time eating here. The food bar salads and soups where phenomenal. All the meats brought around where delicious. Had flan for dessert, and it was very good. Hope to come back next time I'm in visiting.

I may review more in depth later, but for now: Can not get enough of the pineapple. When I asked for sauce for the variety of meats, I was offered A-1 Sauce. Really? A-1 Sauce? Where is the chimichurri sauce?

I love Brazilian steakhouses and have eaten at nearly all brands throughout the US. Charbroil is definitely one of my favorite.

Woww!!! Went for lunch and they had Sirloin, Pork, Italian sausage, chicken and bacon rolls and some others that I dont't remember. The buffet was very good. The meat taste delicious, I would say better than texas de brazil and thr price was just $15 dollars, for dinner is 29.99 but they have ribeye and filet mignon. This place is the same style as texas de brazil, with the gauchos stopping by will all your favorite cuts. I highly recommend this place.

Came here for Sunday brunch. Pros: Food was really good and hot. The meat was fresh off the grill and because it was busy, they came around even though the green place cards weren't turned over. Nice variety of food and sides on buffet, including a Belgium Waffle maker with the option of toppings like strawberries, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Cons: This place was pretty busy. I waited for 15-20mins in the omelet station line. The breakfast sausage was seasoned well. I went to get some pasta salad from the buffet area and it was bland.

An impromptu trip to the Potomac Mills and Ikea gave us an opportunity to visit a local Brazilian Steakhouse. We stopped in after the lunch hour. There were a few other tables also eating. Service was very good. The staff was attentive and our water glasses were never empty. The meat servers came by as needed. They advertise 12 delicious meat options but for lunch we had approximately 6 choices. This was fine for us since it was a great value for the variety. The salad bar had lots of cold and hot options. There were several cold salads, roasted potatoes, chili, a beef stew, bourbon chicken(dark meat). My only disappointment was no sauces for the meats. The meat selections were chicken thigh, chicken legs, sausages, parmesan pork chops, bacon wrapped turkey breasts, and sirloin. Everything we ate was cooked well, and surprisingly not salty( like other steakhouses). The servers came by as much as we needed. Overall, this place is a good option for the value. The staff was attentive. The food was tasty and plentiful.

Decided to try this because of the good reviews. Been to Texas de Brazil and Chima before and had good experiences. Service was horrible! We sat for 10 minutes before we got served any meat! Then they all come out in droves. Then they disappear for 10 minutes and start all over! Meats were over cooked and tough, the Bacon Wrapped Filet was chewier and less tender than skirt steak! Waitstaff likes to hang out over near the bar and chat rather than refilling drivings and cleaning plates. Won't return!

I've been wanting to check out Charbroil Grill out, as this family-owned Brazilian steakhouse seems to give the other larger chains a run for their money! Located in Woodbridge in the OCB plaza, this unassuming restaurant offers an AYCE set-up. Meats such as chicken, top sirloin steak, rib-eye steak, Brazilian flank steak, skirt steak, beef ribs, lamb, pork tenderloin with Parmesan cheese, pork sausages, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, etc., as well as a salad bar with rice, soup, and salad are offered. My favorite of all the meats was the top sirloin steak, as this had the right amount of fat to meat ratio, sliced thinly, and had wonderful flavor. Don't be shy in asking the servers in gaucho pants if there is a preferred meat cut/temperature you are looking for - they are more than happy to get a generous plate for you! We loved Mateus, one of the servers (who also happen to be one of the owner's son), as he made sure that we got all the meat we could ever dreamed of! Make sure you don't miss the pineapple, as this had some nice sugar coating, having a nice crunchy exterior with a juicy interior. I wasn't a fan of the salad bar, however, as some of the items had a weird 'old water/mildew' taste to them, so that was kind of unpleasant. Just keep in mind that you don't receive starters like the other places (the polenta fries, the plantains, the mashed potatoes (which you can find at the buffet), etc.); you do get a plate of the Pao de Queijo, which are just okay. The prices are definitely awesome and at a bargain, for an AYCE type of a set-up. If you're in the Woodbridge area and have an appetite, check Charbroil Grill out :D +AYCE Brazilian steakhouse +great, highly competitive prices +Top Sirloin steak +Pineapple +ask for Mateus :D

Came here for sunday brunch. You get 2 choices of beef, a pineapple, sausage, and a chicken for $20/per persob. For the price it wasn't too bad. The servers were very slow though. Seemed like there was only one person serving while we were there. I was so hungry i filled up on a fresh waffle. Its too bad they didnt come around faster, the meat was tasty. I do like the fresh omelet and chocolate fountain selection. The fresh fruit selection was delicious too.

Came here for my birthday, it wasn't as busy and we came in at 5pm. The place looked very cozy, the food bar for side items were not as big as I thought it would be. There wasn't much, they got your typical salad bar, rice, soups, and some other fancy salad like shrimp mixed with tomatoes, etc. The meats that came out from the skewers were nice and hot, I really enjoyed the chicken wings and the sausage. The turkey wrapped with bacon was not bad either, kinda salty but good. I was looking forward to the fila mignon but when it came out, it wasn't as tender as I thought it would be. Top sirloin was pretty good as well, the salmon was nicely cooked with pepper seasoning. Overall I will be back for more, it's no fancy Brazilian steakhouse, but it does fill the belly at a cheaper rate. $29.99 per adult as of now.

I really enjoyed the side dishes that they offered us. You go to the buffet and get a plate and fill it up to eat with the delicious meat that they serve. Some of the side dishes that I enjoyed were: mango cilantro salad, salad bar, oyster soup, mussels, shrimp with cocktail sauce, watermelon, buttery mash potato, and so much more! After you get your plateful of side dishes, servers come around and ask you if you want the meat that they have. I really enjoyed the grilled pineapple, sirloin, and rib eye. The sirloin and rib eye were so delicious, but all the meats were pretty salty (which they probably do on purpose since it's an all you can eat). The pineapple was sweet and they caramelized the sugar on the pineapple that made it sweeter and had a crunchy surrounding. I combined the pineapple and meat together and it was the perfect bite! They have this really yummy bread that they serve at the restaurant. The bread was buttery and had a sticky texture. The staff was so helpful and they really wanted you to enjoy the experience. They constantly asked us what meats we wanted and would go get or make the meat we asked for. The only complaint that I have is that the meat took forever to come by. Especially since we were seated in the back corner, it seemed like the parts we wanted would never get to us. When it finally did, we were too full to eat all the meat we wanted. They have a lot of different types of meats. They had sausages, kabobs, beef, chicken, pork, and even salmon! We thought that dessert was included in the price, but it wasn't. I had the flan. However, it was pretty good. It was sweet and had a gelatin texture. I would recommend it if you are in the mood for something sweet afterwards.

Excellent service. Grilled Pineapple was yummy. Meats were yummy. Decent salad bar and I esp loved the shrimp and mango salsa salad. Only $30/person so much more affordable than Fogo or Chima.

Major improvement from my previous experience. The waiter was excellent and the best part was that he brought out my cheese balls as soon as he greeted us :) Hi5! The meat was fresh this time and very delicious. The waiter continuously checked up on us and even brought out the dessert tray :) Thank you Charbroil Grill! I will be coming back for more.

One of the best mediocre meals I've ever had. They don't try to be like Fogo de Chão or Texas de Brazil, they just have a set menu with set meats, and they do it well. (Num vi nenhum brasileiro aqui)

I am only giving this place 4 stars because it encourages sheer gluttonous behavior. Charbroil is pretty much an all you can eat buffet on steroids with a surprisingly good salad/side bar. I have visited Chima in McLean and was wowed but this is just as good for half the price without the long drive. The servers(people with meat on a stick) will bring you charbroiled cuts of meat and fish until you beg for mercy. When I come to a place like this I am only interested in red meat and a little fish so everything else is not in my radar so I will pass on those. Most of us reserve the salad bar for filler in between visits from the torture artists(people bringing you meat on a stick for hours). Usually this works when the sides on the salad bar are not that good but theirs was quite tasty when I visited. I was in trouble as a result. I quickly noticed that I was running out of room and had to develop a new plan. In other words ask someone to quickly take my plate of sides away. The grilled pineapple soaked in something sinful was the icing on the cake for me. Who has room for dessert...surely you jest. Mr. Torture man. Price wise this is the best place to eat in Woodbridge if you want grilled meat. If you go to any other steakhouse in the area you will probably spend the same amount on a near flavorless Porterhouse because they don't know how to season it. At Charbroil everything is well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Where else can you eat prime cuts of meat until you pass out at the table with a mouth full of food for this price? Exactly. Carnivores...Raise your glass!

I am so thankful for having this unexpensive, homemade-taste food, and wonderful grilled pineapple and skirt steak right on my neighborhood. Staff is pretty friendly too. I have celebrate my birthday there once, and have been there many many times. Only one time the meats were not so good, so I am giving it 5 stars. Of course, if you are expecting Fogo de Chao/Chima experience, then you will be disappointed. This is 1/2 price compared to them because they don't have fancy furniture, drinks, and meats at your table every 5 sec.

This place is a hidden gem. Why didn't I know about this place sooner??

This place is cheaper than Fogo De Chao, Texas De Brazil and Chima; however it gets the job done. Usually during the week this place is not busy at all, which is good and bad. Good because obviously you don't have to wait in line. Also, if you like your meat charred like me, sometimes they bring you a plate full of what you want. They are always helpful and courteous and always ask you what you want more of. The bad thing is that with not a lot of customers, I am afraid it might go out of business. This place also has sweet tea and they don't charge you for refills like the fancy places. The salad bar is more my speed. They have roasted potatoes, bourbon chicken, fruit and things like that, which are not offered at the fancier places. Overall, I really like this place and I go all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love the fancier places, and often go there for special occassions.

For the price this is a great place for all you can eat meat. $25 a person for dinner typically cheaper than all the others Brazilian Steakhouse in the area. As for the food, I actually enjoyed all the steaks here as well as the grilled pineapple. Sides from the salad bar was pretty good as well. Our server was friendly and came back to our table often to to ask us how we were doing and gives us refills on our drinks. Overall I will return and I highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving meat but don't want to spend too much !

I tried this place for lunch a few times, and I honestly like it. This place is not like the other expensive Brazilian places that I have been to, so you have to adjust your attitude before you go. The price is not bad and the food is pretty good. Of course you don't get the best cuts of meat during the lunch hour, but it is still worth it. They have a decent salad bar, and the meat that they do serve is prepared the way I like it. They are a little slow during lunch so I typically just tell them what I want when I see my server.

Hit this place up last night (a Saturday) with some co-workers. I would rate the quality of the food as "good-not-great". In the end we had to start asking for what we wanted, but I will say I didn't see them unloading cheap stuff like sausage over higher quality cuts of meat. I think the most common thing to come by the table was top siroin. We had to start asking for some of the rarer items, like the salmon. The guys with the meat were pretty cool with us though, joking and talking with us when they were around. It probably helped that we had some hot chicks with us- as a pasty white boy I am not used to that kind of attention. That and a party of 9 sometimes gets more attention than a small booth of 2 or 3. I will maybe go back, it's just such a distance out for someone that lives in the Maryland part of the beltway... As for price- the meal, a beer, and 18% gratuity (on a group our size) was $33 and change.

This is one of my go to lunch places. Usually I'm by myself so a full plate of meats and a good book are often just the thing. I have been to Fogo in DC and if this is the quality you are looking for you will be disappointed. But the food they have at lunch is great for the price. Usually two types of steak and the turkey and sausage pare great time fillers waiting for the steak. The lunch hours are usually pretty calm there and you never really have to wait too long fora server to bring you piping hot meat. If you do like only one or two of the items just let the carver know and I they usually wont bombard you with the other selections more than once. But my true favorite of the place is the roasted pineapple. They soak it in what has to be rum and butter and OMG it is the perfect end to a belly full of meat. If you are looking for high end dining save up the $80 a person and trek into DC for FOGO but if you are looking for a good time with some friends and a good food give the place a try.

Food was ok. I had been to a similar place in Salt Lake City so my expectations were high. The salad bar was decent but I just wasn't impressed with the meat selections. I might give it another try since it was Thursday night. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had a party of 13 and everyone's bill was done properly.

Ok, I am a meat lover and I am extremely picky about it. The service wad good, nothing to complain... but the meat was just ok.... the Picanha was too over cooked, even when I asked for one a little more pink they continue bringing the same piece until was over.... The flavor was ok... was missing something... usually when you go to a real Brazilian style steak house you can feel the salt and the unique flavor the pit.... and they didn't have it.... Well, I am Brazilian and I love a good bbq... This place was cheap if you compare to other steakhouses... so if you are craving meat and you are not so picky... go for it.

Here is the trick: The servers HAVE to offer you meat (and if the manager see's you not eating, they will ask you what you want and make sure you get it) - have a favorite and haven't seen it in a while? Specifically ask for it, and smile. It's not rude and they do not take offence to it when you shoo away bacon wrapped chicken because you're saving room for their top sirloin (or whichever is your favorite). This place is NOT Fogo, nor does it pretend to be, but it is a far better deal - and honestly? Unless it's a special occaision, who needs to spend that kind of money at Chima/Fogo/Texas? Those places are have a time and place, but Charbroil, for your time, money, and experience is much better. Drinks: soda, there are no free refills, so just be aware of that. Water is better for you anyways, so i can't really fault them on this one. they have some brazillian soda (canned) that is pretty good too (and decent for something different flavor) LUNCH - meat variety offerings are much fewer, but an excellent deal if you are HUNGREH DINNER - I prefer going here during the week, because it's usually pretty empty (thereby giving me first selection of meat). Weekends are not too bad though, and if it does get crowded, like i said, just tell your servers what kind of meat you are specifically waiting for, and 9 times out of 10 will promptly and frequently bring out exactly what you are asking for (even if it's the kind of meat they don't bring around often i.e. top sirloin). BRUNCH - basically the same as dinner except with eggs, omelette's, and other neccesary breakfast foods. No eggs benedict or anything, but it's actually perfect for a breakfast fan (MEEE!!!PANCAKES!!!WAFFLES!!!ESOFTBOILED EGGS MIXEDINMYPANCAKESWITHJELLYOMG!!!) who also loves meat (on top of my pancakes? YES PLEASE!!!). The salad bar isn't huge, but the selections are satisfactory enough for me (salad bars aren't usually the main reason i go to an all you can meat place anyways). I usually get some greens or fruit to even out the inevitable meat sweats. There is always stuff there (likely catered towards kids) like french fries, rice, and other generic salad bar items for the sensitive palate. so there it is. eat here if you want some great meat at a great value.

Yolanda B. nailed it in her review. They starve you into going for the grass first! Those dirty bastards. I sat there, at the table, knife in one hand fork in the other, wood block turned to green (that's how they know to come deliver the goods), for over ten minutes before the first dead something hit my plate (and we all know that we're there for the dead things on the sticks). I watched at least two servers look in my direction then turn away, even made eye contact with one. Charbroil is trying to be something similar to Fogo De Chao or Chima at a cut rate and you're the one stuck paying for it; in both taste and service. The meats aren't as tasty and the cuts aren't as good. There are fewer servers on the floor and they don't come by as often or as quickly (those guys at Fogo move like an NFL running back on steroids!) Mediocre at best but I am comparing it to Fogo and Chima, so take that for what it's worth. If you're just looking to put some cow into your gullet then maybe this place is worth a shot. On the up-side (yes there is one), the price (as mentioned by everyone else) is much lower than the competition.

Came here for my brothers birthday and being a huge fan of Texas De Brasil and Fogo I was all ready to eat some meat!! Bring on the meat!!! Can you tell I like meat? So we are seated in a nearly empty restaurant for dinnertime. Its the middle of the week and the night before Thanksgiving, perhaps people just arent dining out tonight??? The server comes over to explain how it all works, Im already set, my card is turned to green to signal BRING THE MEAT!!! While I wait for the men to come parading out of the kitchen with meat on their skewers I visit their salad bar. Its not as big as some of the other steakhouse salad bars with a wide variety of things to choose from but theyve got your basic salad and toppings, rice and beans, and bourbon chicken. I loved the bourbon chicken!! But sadly so did everyone else, when i went back for seconds it was all gone and the kitchen didn't seem to rushed to get any more out. But why am i waiting at the salad bar for some chicken. Why aren't the men with the skewers coming out? And suddenly out comes one, lone individual with medium rare steak. I tend to like my meat a little more well done so I wait and wait.. Minutes later finally comes a different type of meat and i figure if I'm going to be waiting all night at this rate I better grab what I could get when they come around. So perhaps I'm a little spoiled because the other steakhouses are constantly swarming with meat everywhere as far as your eyes could see. Another thing is the lack of flavor that the meat had. I shouldn't have to ask for steak sauce at a Brazilian restaurant. Back to the salad bar, the bourbon chicken is still missing or empty again - dislike. Back to the table to wait for meat...sigh If you want to pay half the price for half of an amazing experience this is your place. Im gonna continue to go to Texas De Brasil!!

The local answer to foga de chow. The place is clean and they play it a little up scale due to the price you will pay. The wait staff is dresses in goucho outfits. The meat comes out in a random manner. They have several beef, a poultry, a fish and a lamb offering. I love the lamb and ask for there fantastic mint jelly. The salad bar has a variety of starch and veg options, all good. A hand full of TVs but not a great place to watch a game.

Pretty nice establishment! Took my husband for Father's day with the family for the first time, and he was pleased. I am not a big meat eater but he is and he tried everything, I enjoyed the sausage and the potatoes and ziti salad. Our server was very sweet and always came to check on us including Refills and clearing the used plates. Nice experience for a local inexpensive Brazilian Steakhouse only the steaks could have used a little bit more flavoring on some cuts! Delightful local restaurant! If there were more options of several meats and if there were more salad options and rice and veggies it would be about 4 1/2 stars!

I was in town visiting from LA and saw the good reviews on this place. Meat quality was very good for the price. It's no Fogo de Chao, but for $21 it was an excellent deal. The meat selection wasn't huge, but the meat was tender, tasty and better than an Outback Steakhouse. Only drawback? They need to add Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) to the menu for a complete meal!

We go to the Charbroil pretty regularly and find consistently good to great food and fantastic value there. Our favorite time to go, because it makes it more reasonable to fit in, is the Sunday Brunch. Omelettes, pasta, and waffles fresh, made to order..complete with well rounded salad bar...and the meat...what a way to dine on a Sunday. The meat is succulent, the specialty drinks are well made, the ingredients are fresh, the staff and location are approachable, clean, and comfortable. So I'm relaxed and able to just dig in, chat, and enjoy the food and company..some great conversations have happened across the tables at this restaurant. Stuff we love: omelette or pasta with shrimp and garlic, the turkey wrapped in bacon, the grilled pinapple, endive with cheese, and the medium to medium rare sirloin. What still floors us is that this is available for just a few bucks more than IHOP per person! It's clear the people care about what they do. You just gotta go!

This place is a great value. At $21, the price is lower than practically any decent churrascaria around, while the quality of the meat was better than decent. Even the buffet meat (bourbon chicken) was great. This is my new favorite place to eat meat - when I don't want to pay $45 for Fogo de Chao.

  • Anita S.

I could not ask for anything more. First - Great meat, great food with a lot of varieties - all you can eat! The grilled pineapple is a must ! You should try it ! at the end the Brazilian flan was a surprise. It is different than the Mexican flan (richer but not sweet) Second - Excellent price, very good service, clean and spotless !! (about HALF of the price of Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil, I think those 2 are overpriced) Third - After you are stuffed, you need to exercise and there is Potomac Mills Mall, Ikea or lots of different shops right across the restaurant for you to walk around or shop around. I really recommend it and I am excited to go back again !

Had lunch there last week. The place was empty and now I know why. Waiter never told me his name and hwen the food arrived, a little longer than it should have with the lack opf customers there. I had an issue with the food and ask to speak to a manager. A guy, I think his name was Kevin not sure, came to the table and since I can read body language and heard the inflection in his voice I knew this wasnt going to work in my favor. I just said never mind, finished my meal and left. I will never go there again.

Spoiled by Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Caho. Meet quality wasnt that great, price wasnt that bad ($21 + drink), but quality of meet is what killed it for me. A great place to hang out locally, but if you want great meat, I would recommend someplace else.

My son and I stopped by for lunch on Thursday, just curious about it and expecting to pay a lot more. The dining room was spotless, we were seated in the bar area, which pleasantly lacked that bar smell of old beer and whiskey that so many bar areas seem to have. Our waiter greeted us and took out drink order right away, explaining the concept of the Brazilian BBQ with the salad and prepared food buffet and the hunks of meat on skewers coming to the table. We went straight for the salad/buffet --- sampling a spinach salad with queso blanco, a tomato-mozzarella-basil salad, Belgian endive with blue cheese and walnuts, sesame noodles, black beans and rice with toasted yucca powder, sauteed veggies, bourbon chicken and beef ribs in red wine sauce. There was much more on the buffet, but we wanted to leave room for the meat on skewers. Just as we began to nibble on our salads, the man with meat stopped by our table and loaded us up with a hunk of pork loin and a hunk of chicken. The pork loin was juicy-good, with a crackle of skin on the outside. The chicken, aromatic and delectable, was sparked with rosemary. I wanted to eat the skin, but only took a small bite of its yummy-fatty goodness. The next stop was the grilled pineapple, speared on a skewer and seared to a golden brown, so sweet it tasted like sugar, and a tangy counterpoint to the meats. We went through the salad/buffet one more time, this time loading up on veggies and fresh fruit to counteract our meat feasting. Sure enough the meat man showed up shortly after our return to the table with a load of perfectly medium rare sirloin, silky and juicy on the inside with a crunchy-brown savory outside. Could anything possibly be better? Oh yes. The next trip by the meat man put me under with turkey wrapped in bacon that was a melt-in-the-mouth flavor festival and a peppery sausage with a snappy casing that was crisped to a bubbly-brown. Yow. We turned the little dowel-signal to red -- STOP. We were done, stuffed and nearing overdose. The waiter cleared our last plates away, refilled our iced tea glasses for one last time, and brought the check. I opened the folder gingerly, expecting a huge bill, justifying to myself that occasional splurges are warranted even on a tight budget. I looked at the total and blinked. $30??? For two full scale lunches of incredibleness and fabulousity? I looked again, no mistake -- the price was $11.95 each with iced tea at $2.50 each, plus tax -- $30.35 total. Oh my -- I felt as if I'd found treasure. Can't eat in a ho-hum chain restaurant for that price! We will definitely add this to our list of favorites. If I could I would also give extra points for the cleanliness of the restrooms, which are sparkling-clean, properly stocked and fresh-smelling.

OMG. Tucked across from Potomac Mills was this fantastic gem. I had no idea what to expect from Brazilian BBQ. Turns out I am a huge fan. The meats were delicious. My favorite was the Sirloin, but the grilled pineapple sealed the deal. Delicious!

This place has the BEST Sunday brunch in town! For $15.95 you have access to the omlette/waffle bar and salad bar with other hot buffet options. There is also someone walking around with various meat options you can add to your plate. Service was excellent, place was very clean and an extremely pleasant environment - not too crowded with a "wait" like other places I know. I have been telling everyone I know and will probably return this Sunday as well as many other Sunday's to come! I highly recommend!

Its ok. The meat servers can be neglectful if there's a huge or selfish party in the restaurant. Most of the meat is rare so if you like your meats medium-well done you won't be eating. The salad bar could have more choices and you can tell some of the food has been sitting there for a while. Much cheaper than other Brazilian steak houses but in turn less food choices and service is not as attentive.

I'm glad I didn't read the other person's review because then I probably wouldn't have gone there, but I did go just yesterday and it was great. Good salads and lots of good meat, all you can eat for a pretty decent price. Much cheaper than the fancier, more famous Brazilian steak houses. It seemed plenty clean to me, maybe they have new management or got the problem under control, the wait staff was courteous and helpful, in all it was a very pleasant dinner and I'd recommend it to people. A little out of the way from where I usually go, and I'm don't know if its worth the drive from Alexandria, but if you happen to be at Potomac mills then its pretty convenient

    I. Am. Full. This "Brazillian-Style Steakhouse" offers a well stocked bar, a plentiful buffet, and exceedingly pleasant wait staff, if my waiter Billy and the gentleman (whose name I missed) who brought the meat selection to my table were representative. "Brazillian-style" deserves an explanation. There's a buffet here that you're free to enjoy, with a nice selection of good food to pick from. There is also a fresh meat waiter, who awaits your signal to bring piping-hot meats to the table, only slicing off a portion for you when he arrives and only stops doling out the flavorful, juicy selections when you tell him to. As I said, I'm quite full. Combine all of this in a spacious, clean, and attractive restaurant with light jazz playing, and I believe this place with the deceptively low-brow name has earned the rating from me.

Superb, must experiment authentic Brazilian Grill Restaurant (no use of sauces, or artificial flavors of any kind!). Pure meat goodness, and a vast fresh salad bar all included in one price ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT. My family drives 50 miles to go there. Worth every gallon of gas! Only $13/lunch/person, and $20/dinner/person. Beverages and deserts are not included, of course!!! It's a bargain for the wonderful selection of meats, vegetables, salad, seafood included. Smoke salmon as well! Delicious! A bonus: GRILLE PINEAPLE ON THE SPEAR!!! I could eat only that and still be happy! Going again this month, with friends. That is great place for get togethers, since it's one price. No fighting over who are what!! Service is fantastic. Extremely clear and friendly atmosphere. Servers are young and happy! The owner watches over the entire process and is the best chef, himself! Deserts are to die for! Call for reservations if more than 2 people, it's always good.

I was over in Potomac Mills so I decided to check out Charbroil. If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, you should definitely try it at least once. But not if you're vegetarian. You start out with an all-you can eat salad bar, which is nice but don't fill up on that rabbit food, because the main event is the MEAT. You get these discs that are green on one side to signal if you want some, or flip over to the red side if you've had enough. As long as your disc is green the meat keeps on comin' like a tsunami of steak--a marathon of meat---a parade of protein--a tidal wave of tryptophan. That's probably enough analogies for now. 13 different kinds of meat come to you, all delicious. You can even specify how rare you want it. Go there. Now. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the location is a bit out of the way for me.

The food was just OK. Had to ask several times for the lamb but other meats were plentiful. The salad bar was fresh but stay away from the mussels and seafood chadder. Billy the bartender / waiter was very tentive. A bit pricey for what it is.

I had lunch here on a Saturday for only $13 and was pleasantly surprised. For an all you can eat brazilian buffet, this place was awesome. The atmosphere is pretty nice, and the food was very fresh. The service was a little slow, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you are in a rush.

My family visited Charbroil Grill after learning that they serve Brazilian style grilled meats. The salad bar was impressive with a fresh assortment to assemble a salad. On the bar was also beef in wine sauce, bourbun chicken, soups, and lots of cold pastas. The grilled meats where great. The ribeye steak and beef ribs were my favorite. The service was barely acceptable but the grilled meats made up for my waitress's actions (or lack of). Toward the end of our meal my 4 year old son noticed a bug on our table. It was a roach. When I told the waitress she said "I dont know why, we bombed 4 times already!" We got up immediately. I called the manager the following day to let him know of my experience. I receieved no apology--above all I would expect for him to be aplogetic. He said he would talk to the waitress and call me back. What? To confirm that we saw a roach on our table while we ate? I will not return to this resturaunt. I would suggest going to Malibu Grill instead.

I really don't know where to go with this review as I have mixed emotions about it. I wanted to give it 1.5 stars, but gave it 2 for only 1 reason: Ernesto. Ernesto from Guatemala. What an awesome, affable, fun guy he was to be served by. The man who brings the meat. I hope he gets tips, as our server was not any of the above. I was surprised to find this place was run by Asians. I thought it was going to be a true Brazilian experience, and having experienced the food, it certainly is not. I did not like the meat. None of it. The lamb had a weird taste to it, the beef was flavorless, had to add salt and pepper. I skipped the chicken, but my daughter liked it, but she likes her food over-cooked and over-sauced. The buffet really did not have anything on it that I truly enjoyed. Even the rolls were cold and dry. Tried their seafood chowder-at first I liked the dill flavor, but then it was over whelming and over salty. Why is it that so many Asian restaurants think that fake crab meat is seafood and is OK to add to their food items? I don't get it. And I don't like it. NO jazz playing when we were there, the place was dead, and the server was beyond lacking in clearing plates. I had mine lined up on the top of the dividing wall, and ran out of space to line them up. I wouldn't have done this if it had been busy..not sure what I would have done other than to send someone to get the server and have her do her job. We will not be going back to this place. ~

After my unfavorable update in January 2012, the owner contacted me, told me that they've made some improvements, and invited me back. So I gave it a try...and I was impressed. I've been back many times since my unfavorable review, and this place is back to the fantastic place it was when I first went. I don't have to re-write what I wrote in my first review, you can see it below, but they've definitely turned things around. I've since told many people about it, so I hope they get a few new customers.

My family enjoyed Father's Day brunch here today. The variety on the buffet was very pleasing. Something for everyone. The mango shrimp salad is a new fave. My omelet was delicious as well as the sides we all tried. The best experience were the delicious and tender meats that were brought to our table. My first bite of the ribeye (medium well) was tender and flavorful. We also tried some sirloin, chicken, turkey wrapped in bacon, parmesan crusted pork and roasted pineapple! So gooood! This is now our new favorite buffet.

  • Cam M.

Pace yourself. You don't have to eat everything you see but make sure you try a piece of pineapple with your meat. I didn't try everything but what I did try was deeeeeeelicious! They don't have a million item salad/food bar but what they do have is seasoned just right and it complements the meats and seafood they bring around. I was too stuffed for desert but the spouse got chocolate cake and was totally in love with the rich chocolateness of it.

I was excited to eat brunch with a friend from out of town. We traveled over 3 hours. We decided on the breakfast buffet. It was a big shock to see a roach crawling across the table as the chef made omelets and waffles. The service was good. But they clearly have a infestation issue that needs to be addressed.

This place is so good that me and my girlfriend made a rule that we only eat out at this place now. Everything is a total disappointment when you compare it to the food here and the price. All you can eat steak cooked perfectly. What really blows my mind is that lunch during the week is only $15. You can't find a better value anywhere and the food is better than almost all of the chain restaurants that pollute Woodbridge.

I went today with a few friends for lunch. Didnt really know what to expect. Just heard that guys bring meats on a stick and cut it for you. With that being said, this place is absolutely amazing! Sirloin, hanger steak, bacon wrapped turkey, roasted potatoes with onion, oh and the pineapple! ! Damn that pineapple is good. Theres even a window that lets you see into the kithen on the backside of the buffet. Watch them cook, turn, baste, prep, and season the meats. Absolutely amazing. I am definitely going back next chance I get.!!

This place makes some great meat. I have not had anything that was not outstanding, but what bumps it up even another notch is the price is reasonable for the carnage! They have a great salad bar, but besides the smoked salmon and some nuances, who is there to eat plants when you can feast on meats? (I love salad, but when here I am going after the flesh). The service was good and it had a good atmosphere. tripadvisor.com/ShowUser…

The brunch is a good deal for $20. You get rodizio (limited selection), omelette and waffle bar and salad bar with some breakfast dishes. Their beef cuts are perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare. Their sausages are average. Turkey and chicken are pretty good. Overall a good deal, considering the price.

  • Joshua F.

My experience here wasn't that great. The service was good so I'll give them props for that one. That said I think the value for what you actually pay was a little bit off. Its great if you plan on eating massive amounts of steak but if you're going there for a regular meal I think you could do better somewhere else. I also noticed that the shrimp weren't de-veined that they had on the buffet line. I pointed this out to the server and a cook came out - pushed them around with a spoon, then went back into the kitchen. The shrimp were never exchanged out which makes me wonder what else is going on behind the scenes...

I enjoyed this place a lot. We came on a Saturday for lunch, a few minutes right after it opened. This is probably why we got some superb customer service from the servers. It was our first time and certainly not our last. For about $18, you get a decent selection of meats, chicken, and pork, along with the salad bar. The salad bar is filled with seafood selections, pastas, soups, salads and soup. You will definitely get your money's worth here. I'm not a Brazilian steakhouse expert, but I do know that most of them are ridiculously priced; so if you want a bang for your buck, head over to Charbroil!

This is the only Brazilian steak house I've gone to, where I felt like we had to fight for food! The restaurant is not equipped to service large parties. There was at least a 15-20 minute wait for cheesy bread!! FOR CHEESY BREAD! You would think that if you cant serve the meats as quickly, then you would at least have the next best thing ready to go. ... But no. The service overall was terrible. Only two people were serving meats, and by the time they were done with one big party, you had to wait another 10 minutes for more meat. The funny thing was that the waiters knew the process was slow, so they would have to go and tell the servers to serve their table first. It was just a big war on what waitress can make the servers go to their take first, and the biggest party always won. If you had a small party, forget about eating. The salad bar is disgusting! The food wasn't fresh, and it was dirty. My 7 and 8 year old neice didn't even touch it, it was that bad. The worst part is that for tables of 6 or more, an 18% gratuity was forced. I really believe the servers took their time with us because they knew they would get a tip regardless.... Spend the extra money and go to a real steak house!

Okay, we have been coming here for a few years and you better have an appetite all you can eat meat and they mean it. Always delicious and service doesn't disappoint not great if you have a picky eater or a vegetarian and come here to just try something new. The Sunday brunch is just as good as lunch or dinner too.

After quite a few experiences at this restaurant, I finally feel like I can give an honest review. The first time I came here the service and selection was amazing. This is what I typically expect for a ~$70ish meal (for two - after tip). The food is always pretty good. However, over time, I am sad to report that the service is beginning to slack. Service staff is not extremely knowledgeable about the food (cuts, or stuff that's on the buffet table). Service staff will disappear for a WHILE. When we first started coming here there were many cuts available and the meat was always fresh. Lately they continue to bring out the same thing over and over, but they will take requests on cuts (be prepared to wait a while though). I think part of the problem is that there are never really enough people in there to eat everything they make. I would certainly come here again, but I'd want there to be a crowd so that the meat is fresh and so that staff cared about getting us out of there in a timely manner.

Pineapple was the best! Seriously, it was so good. Most meat were good, I didn't t remembered how many kinds I tried, but I really like their grill pineapple. The price was a little bit high for me, I would come back more if it's $5 cheaper.

I didn't let some if the bad reviews scare me away. I should have listened. Decided to visit this location because I didn't want to drive into DC. Hey, $30 you can't go wrong, right? Let me say upfront, the dining area was clean and the service good. We should have been concerned when our hostess asked if medium was ok. This was a sign I didn't understand until later. The meat was more than medium and was overdone and dry. My daughter thought the meat was heated up in a microwave. No taste and dry. I suspect they served leftover meat from the night before and heated it up.... Hence the comment, "is medium ok?" After we tried all the meat presented, the meat started to be less well done and more rare. This confirmed my suspicion that the earlier meat was old. Ok, I thought the meat will get better. Wrong. The meat did not have the taste I expected and experienced with the other larger Brazilian Steakhouses. The salad bar was small and seemed ok. The mashed potatoes were good and the highlight of our meal. I hate to be so critical but the management needs to understand and make corrections.

I don't ever want to hear anyone say that they're only here for the salad/side bar buffet. It's $21 for only the salad/side bar buffet for food that you'll have to eat at least a bucketful to get your money's worth. So why not just pay 5-6 more dollars and get the best of both worlds, the salad/side bar and meat? Someone with a hearty appetite sure won't let that opportunity go to waste. (Actually as I'm writing this my argument does seem a bit invalid, but still!) But do beware, if you want to make the most of your money you might want to stay away from the buffet if you do choose to have the best of both worlds. Unless you're like me who has a food fetish for mashed potatoes. There's a list of the different meats they serve on their website as well as the other reviews on this page. So I'm not going to go into that. For the most part, the meats were cooked and seasoned very well. I loved the bacon wrapped filet mignon the most. Except the bacon. I know, judge me, I don't like bacon. It was super juicy and tender and great and.. yeah. For you fish lovers, the salmon is good too. The other meats were good, with the exception of the ones I'm about to mention. Nothing too great about the chicken, was more on the dry side. My slice of leg of lamb was overly seasoned and packed with sodium yet it still tasted gamey. I usually love lamb and have never once smelled or tasted anything gamey considering that lamb should be cooked in a specific way to get rid of that gaminess. My parents said theirs wasn't at all so maybe it was just me or something. But I'm telling you right now, I'm not picky and have a pretty high tolerance for a typical teenager who you'd think would complain a lot. The side/salad bar had a good selection and variety of dishes whether you're only eating from there or along with your meat. I'm a huge mashed potatoes fan and their mashed potatoes were on point. That was a little random, but it had to be said. As for service, they were inviting and checked up on us. I love me some good service. Although they were a little slow to coming over and taking our drinks at the beginning of our meal.

When comparing food and prices, Charbroil Grill is your best choice for Brazilian steakhouses in the area. I sampled the salad bar and every selection of meat they offered. The service was great. This was the first Brazilian Steakhouse where they consistently asked what type of meat you want. They also cook it to your preference. My favorite cuts were the filet mignon wrapped in bacon, turkey wrapped in bacon, and the chicken. I had about 12 rounds of the filet mignon. However, the turkey in bacon was my favorite overall. They have a decent selection of alcoholic beverages too. The atmosphere isn't as classy as the higher priced steakhouses, but you can easily wear casual or dressy attire. To be safe, I say go with a "balanced" look. I'm a fan!

Busy Sunday Brunch, excellent meat choices, fair prices, the young chef behind their breakfast bar has excellent multi-tasking skills, and a great personality, he's always smiling :) Their waffles are heavenly! Too bad the line was so long, we got 2 servings, and if we weren't so stuffed we'd had gotten more! Great service and wonderful food~

First time here / to a Brazilian steakhouse. Went with my brother and ate during lunch time during a weekday ($14). Meat was very tasty. They came with 6 types of meats and pineapple. Meats from what I remember were turkey with bacon, chicken, sausage, top sirloin, sirloin, and pork with Parmesan cheese. (Some of the sirloin was salty but not too salty). Was promptly seated. Waitress was very friendly. Person who cooked your meat was also very friendly and gave you whatever cut/piece of you wanted. For first-timers to Brazilian steakhouses, no learning-curve to learn how to ask for meat. There was a side bar with hot and cold items and a salad bar. Good--the bourbon chicken, roasted potatoes, surimi salad, and beans were good--but not needed; instead, in my opinion, just eat the meat that comes around with the servers. Clean although if you're looking for a fancy atmosphere than places like Fogo de Chao or Chima are better. But the meat here is very tasty and the price can't be beat so if you're not into the fancy atmosphere than this place is where to go. Highly recommend this place.

  • Nick L.

Charbroil was tasty though if you get the outer cuts off the meat mine was always salty. Make sure to tell them your preferences because we kept getting things fairly well done off the edges because they would hit our table first. The bourbon chicken is delicious and the beef is cooked nicely. I would pace yourself, some items don't come around as often and you don't want to be full when something tasty like lamb comes past!

  • Rainie L.

This is a feast fit for a beast! For $26, you get a full salad bar, fruit bar, soups, pastas, and unlimited meat! And we're not talking about that dry tasteless stuff. 13 Cuts - sirloin steak top sirloin flank steak skirt steak beef kebob prime rib salmon pineapple bacon wrapped chicken chicken thigh bacon wrapped fillet mignon lamb -- I can't remember what # 13 was..... So full. Bacon wrapped fillet mignon was the bomb! So tender and juicy - cooked medium - perfecto! A great value for meat lovers. Service was great. The meat were coming out real slow so we asked our server and the meat came out fast enough! You can also request specific cuts to come out as well.

Came here on a random date night with my SO over the weekend and we proceeded to eat our faces off. The variety of meat and selection of extras/sides was fantastic. The salad bar could have had more to offer and not everyone likes their beef still mooing but it was a great dining experience.

Whenever I go to a Brazilian steakhouse, I don't even bother with the salad or buffet. This place had a good salad bar and buffet items. I went for dinner and the price was very reasonable. My favorite steaks were the prime rib and tenderloin. Their chicken was very good as well. They flavored it with rose mary which was very good. The sausage was pretty average, but still very good. The service was great. This was the first Brazilian Steakhouse where they consistently asked what type of meat I wanted and how I wanted it cooked. I really liked how the servers and meat runners interacted with my party. The best part of the meal was the pineapple. The runners brought it out throughout my meal. It was delicious. I plan on coming back at least once a month.

When I visit a all you can eat meat place, I start with meat, then add in some salad, then meat, more meat, then finish with fruit. This way you load up on all the protein you want and have a little roughage, cause you will likely need it! The beef was not as good as Fogo or Texas, the Chicken was good and you almost have to try to mess up pork. I sampled just about everything, the salad bar was good, the chili was pretty good too. The grilled pineapple is always great. The wait staff here is very good and someone is coming by just about every minute or two with a different option. If they did a little something to up the beef cuts this place would be 4 stars easy.

I took my parents and wife here for a weekday lunch - what a great place! The service was excellent, all food was fresh, and the price is very affordable for a Brazilian Churrascaria. Everyone enjoyed the sirloin, fresh salad bar, and the big unexpected hit was the grilled pineapple. Since my wife is pregnant, they cooked the meat to order for her. The friendly attentive service and yummy pineapple set this place apart from other churrascarias I have been to in the DC area. Will definitely stop by whenever we are in Woodbridge!

Contrary to other reviewers, I think that the Charbroil Grill has gotten better. The salad bar doesn't have as many questionable items on it and the servers are very accommodating if you have a favorite cut. They don't come around as often as at Fogo or TdeB, so if you see what you like, take 2 pieces--slow and steady wins the race. The sauteed veggies were very fresh, and the leeks added a nice touch. Hubby loved the Bourbon chicken, but our favorite was definitely the beef rib sliced in little chunks off the rack. Yum!

You get what you pay for-in a good way. Went here for Sunday Brunch and the breakfast and salad bar selection was really good. They had an omelet, pasta and waffle bar.In addition to the salad bar. The bourbon chicken is so GOOD. I also liked the black beans with pork and rice. Service is decent. There aren't a lot of carvers walking around...but they do get around everyone. My favorite is the sausage, and grilled pineapple. VERY VERY GOOD. The meat cuts are pretty well seasoned and very tasty. So, the food, i would say overall very good! I will definitely come back here again for brunch! One of my favorite places in Woodbridge :)

I've been back twice since last year's review, both within a week of each other. The first time back was very disappointing: largely flavorless meat, a disappointing buffet, and a few service problems. Fortunately the second time back went much better. I consider that one bad experience to be an off night. The second time back the meat was some of the best I've had, and the prime rib and pineapple improve with each visit (yes, even the bad one). I also finally got around to trying the wine, and the house cabernet knocked my socks off. I don't think I'll wait us long to come back. One part does bear special mention: the waiters need better training. I was both pleased and impressed when they recognized me on my second time back; the staff IS friendly and attentive. Therein lies the problem. The staff is overbearing. They ignore the green and red discs that indicate if you want. more meat. I like a traditional meal. I want to enjoy a salad and a bowl of soup before starting on the meat, and I don't want the meat sitting out, getting cold while I go through appetizers. Nor do I want to keep telling waiters "not yet" when I have the disc they gave me prominently displayed red. Given their price, a bit of training on how customer service is more than just enthusiasm, and a bit more consistency in the kitchen, are all that are keeping Charbroil from a five star rating. As it is, they're still worth the trip.

What a find! Great food for a great price. The waiter was very nice and super attentive. The interior isn't as fancy as other similarly themed places, but for HALF the price tag, who needs a visual of the food cooking?!? Will definitely be back!

Service gets an'A++'. Food gets an 'A'. New Years Eve, after being treated to a dozen or so ' reservation only' places, we ended up here, before they got full. I can't say enough good things about this business. It may be on the pricey side, but I'll pay that every time, if it means getting the excellent quality service and food we received.

A lot of steak for half the price of other Brazilian steakhouses [$25 per person]. Be sure to flag down a waiter as soon as possible or they will wait until you get something from the salad bar. The steaks were decent but you are getting what you pay for. So don't expect the same quality and service as the more expensive places, obviously. If you have a ravenous appetite, then this is definitely a good spot to eat. Food: 3 Value: 4 Service: 3 Overall: 3

I dined here a few weeks ago. I was not overly impressed by anything except the meat. The buffet was ok, the drinks were mediocre, and the service was mehhh, friendly but still meehhh. However, the meat was DELICIOUS and they never hesitate to offer you as much as you ask for! I will return because for the quantity and quality of meat served it's a steal. However, I won't go out of my way to get here. The visit is perfect for when you're in the mood for gorging on pounds and pounds of tasty meat and very little of anything else.

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is TO DIE FOR, it is basically a cheap version of Fogo! But the food is just as AMAZING! It is not the fanciest place for one who charges $26 for the buffet but trust me once you try the food you don't even care that the inside isn't all that great looking. All of the staff are super nice! I will most definitely be visiting this place forever!!! Oh and their drinks are worth every penny! SUPER STRONG MMMM YUMMY!

Love it. Great food. Friendly staff. When my mother and brothers were explaining it to me (a guy comes around with meat on a stick) I was very skeptical. I don't really consider myself a big meat eater. My decision to go was actually last minute because I was too hungry to wait for them to bring me something back. The restaurant looked very nice and the waiters were really nice. I was not terribly impressed by the look of the salad bar, however everything was so tasty. My mouth waters whenever I think about the shrimp and mango salad. The meat was also the best ever. It was all so tender and cooked to perfection. I was nervous because there was hardly anyone there (don't want the place closing) but as the evening went on more and more people arrived until it was pretty crowded. I was unaware this place was even there before, but they have definitely gained a regular.

I really enjoyed coming here with my boyfriend on a Thursday evening. It was cheap and the food was actually pretty decent for how cheap it was. We ate SO much and were completely satisfied with our meal. I loved the pork with Parmesan and the flank steak. I don't eat fish but my boyfriend was very impressed with their salmon. I was shocked at the amount of selection of meats (even lamb! YUM!) and the salad bar had a really nice selection of side items. We will definitely be coming again. It's not super fancy (but it's Woodbridge, what do you expect?) but it was definitely worth more than the price and it was very tasty :)

So worth the price! Huge variety of meats. Excellent steamed veggies, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled pineapple. One of our favorite places!

Journey into DC and go to Fogo de Chao instead. This place is an unfortunate rip off and not good.

Clearly not for the vegetarian. This Churrascaria is a carnivore's sanctuary! Turn the card over to green to keep the meat coming straight to your mouth (okay really onto your plate but that's just more sanitary) or turn it over when you are trying to take a breather and a time out to unbutton your pants. Decently priced for Brazilian Churrascaria (steak house). For half the price of other higher end Brazilian-Texan steak houses like Texas De Brazil (which I love also) ~$25/person vs $50/person , this place is a steal! Granted there weren't AS many options for meat but this place has the most accommodating and attentive servers! We ask for something and normally within 10 minutes, they'll come out with it if there aren't already meat boys (that's what I call em) walking around. You also got the salad/soup/other foods bar. Meats: Top Sirloin Steak, Lamb, Ribs, Skirt Steak, Flank Steak, Rib Eye (my favorite), sausages, pork tenderloin, Turkey, etc! They also got a brunch that I believe is served with many of these meats and traditional breakfast foods. Steak for Breakfast? Sure why not! I forgot to add...GET THE ROASTED PINEAPPLE!! DELICIOUS!

Anything under 4 stars for this place, and the person either has no taste buds or knows something I don't about a better place for under $20 that is a Brazilian steak house. First of all, I went during a weekday lunch hour. The place was about 25% full and the buffet just started up. All the salads, soups, sides, and rolls were excellent. The seafood chowder might have been one of the best soups I ever had. So I had to have it again halfway during the meal. The salad was fresh like it was just picked in the morning. The rolls were very fresh and not solid like rocks like you see at some 'higher class' restaurants. The meats were all delicious. The pace early on was a little slow and had to wait several minutes between the first couple of meats. But after that, the cycle was every couple of minutes. The flank steak was by far the best but everything was great. It is just hard to compete with a fresh juicy cut steak that is red in the center and grilled on the outside. Chicken, pork, and turkey were also awesome. The cooked pineapple was a first for me. It was hot pineapple basically that melts in your mouth. Wish I had more actually. The price for everything with tip and just water to drink was $17. Not bad when most comparable Brazilian steak houses charge $30+ for basically the same thing. Will definitely be going there again! Maybe with a girl! I would have stayed another hour but I was on my lunch break from work haha.

I thought the ambiance was nice. It was pretty empty when I went so I got meat very quickly. I turned down the salad bar (thought I hear it's great) because I wanted the meat. What I came for. The serve was nice. He made sure I was taken care of. Some of the meats were pretty tasty, others were bland and, to me, had no taste. Just like others say, try the pineapple. It's great. I wasn't wowed, but it wasn't bad. I'll go back and give it another try. I had an ok experience. The 25 dollar change is adequate.

Nice to come here and get all you can eat. Service started off fast but then really slowed. Finally was sitting around waiting for quite a bit for service. And at one point the waiter asked me what I was waiting on and when I told him he said "We don't have such a thing". So I assumed I was mistaken. Turned out HE was mistaken. I should have gotten the menu as I walked in the door so I would be able to keep track of all the different types of meat. The filet mignon was NOT real tender. It had a good taste but was a little tough and chewy. The cooked pineapple was good. I passed up the salad bar. I enjoyed the steakhouse and really give it 3 1/2 stars. Next time I won't eat without one of their menus so that I can keep track of the meat better.

This one is tough for me. I really have no complaints but I really didn't walk out thinking "that was amazing" either. The meats were all good and the salad/hot food bar was decent. I always get a caipirinha when I go to one of these Brazilian steak places and this one didn't disappoint. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone in the area but I wouldn't say you'll be wowed.

This place always has a friendly staff to attend to you. The salad bar is nicely replenished and the meats can be of better quality but good for the price comparing it to all the other Brazilian BBQs in the area. The only thing that's left to be desired is the frequency of how often they come out with the meats. ... they would have gotten a better rating from me if they can improve in this area. Overall, not a bad place to go to.

I was here last weekend for the first as my wife brought me for my birthday. Food was excellent, we were served immediately upon arrival. I have been to both Chima and fogo de chao, and this place is better for the price you're paying - it's half the price. Will definitely come visit more often.

This place is awesome! For $26 you get unlimited meats & salad bar which also offers soups, pastas & cheese. We've been back multiple times and not once have we had dry, tasteless meat. The pineapple is to die for!!! We really appreciate how they ask you at the beginning how you like your meat cooked and thats exactly how they serve it to you. AMAZING. The carvers that bring around all the different meats are always so patient and friendly. The service is pretty decent but it does get busy from time to time and it takes a while to get the server's attention. Definitely a great value!

Once they get rolling this place isn't bad. They are a little slow out of the gates when it comes to serving the meat. But you get the feeling it's because they hope you get so hungry waiting for the meat that you hit up the salad bar and get half full from the ruffage first. And it almost actually works. Their saving grace is that the salad bar is pretty good. There was a bourbon chicken that I really liked. Plus a couple of other really good sides. Then when the meat finally starts arriving, they kill ya with the cheap stuff. Lot's of turkey wrapped in bacon, marinated chicken, sausage, etc... That comes around a few times before you even see the good stuff. So if you are an amateur Brazilian steak house customer, you will kick yourself for falling for the ruse. But the price is reasonable, and the food is actually good, once you get the good stuff.

This is not a restaurant I will go back to again. The service was fine, but the food left me wanting. Most of the meat dishes did not have much flavor. The best part was actually the rice and beans and other aspects of the salad bar, not any of the meat!! If you've been to top of the line Brazilian steakhouses before, don't go here.

Mmmm, Brazilian steakhouse! The way this works is, you're served by a dude with a sword with meat on it. Think about that. A dude with a sword full of meat. If that isn't the most awesome thing ever, you have no soul. Some excellent steaks, and also delicious turkey wrapped with bacon. Turkey is nice, bacon is even better, but steak is the best. You should have a wooden token on the table which, turned green-side up, means "Serve me more!" and red-side up means "Enough." It's handy. Service is efficient. Their salad bar is really good too. I would be superbly happy just eating from there, if I didn't feel guilty about driving all the way down there from Maryland and not eating steak at a steakhouse. The salad bar has some pretty good pasta salad, and bourbon chicken (which is not a salad, but hey, I'm not complaining).

I was actually pretty surprised by this place. My husband and I were having a completely non-traditional Christmas last year and since this was one of the ONLY places open, we decided to try it. We were both surprised. At first, it seemed a bit pricey because of the holiday menu and considering I don't eat meat, I thought it wasn't going to be worth it. The manager gave us a deal for me since I wasn't eating any meat and I just got the buffet, which had a very extensive selection. My husband enjoyed the different variety of meats and how they brought it to your table. It was definitely unlike anything we had ever been to before and despite my vegetarianism, I was impressed....

Don't expect the same experience at Fogo de chao or Chima. However the food there's OK, but they kept bring to our table medium rare or blue rare meats, though we told them we won't eat that several times.
