Looks can be deceiving, especially on the walking mall. But I was happy when I walked out. I had heard about this place from neighbors, saying that their food was really good, though the place is small and the hours are very tight. Everybody suggested their omelettes or pancakes, but since I heard the omelettes are best, I decided to go with that. I ordered an orange juice, water, and the western omelette (comes with home fries and toast). While the orange juice was way too tangy, and extremely small, the omelette makes up for it. Extremely generous with the meat, peppers, and cheese, and the home fries were good too (a bit heavy on the salt and pepper, but definitely doable). Everything also was fresh and and tasted that way. Not to mention the Frank Sinatra and the Philadelphia sound that was playing helped create a northern feel (I'm from the northeast), to the restaurant. Lastly, my breakfast came out to $9, very good price for what I got, and if not for the orange juice, would've been only $6 or $7. I recommend stopping in early (their hours are very nice and geared to an early working crowd), and having a nice conversation with Bobby, the owner (he's a very nice man and does a nice job with conversation, he rivals Perry who has a similar place on Piccadilly St.). I hope to come back again. Thanks for a great breakfast Bobby!

Tiny gem in downtown Winchester with friendly owner and staff. The owner cooks and the food is really good. Diner type menu fare. I enjoy Saturday breakfasts here. Don't everyone come at one time!

We had a delicious breakfast there last week! I love the feel of the restaurant inside! The owner is very friendly and talkative. I had the Greek omelette and my husband had the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette! The portion size was big and I was able to make mine into two meals. Both were awesome! Definitely want to check out their lunch menu!

I try to eat here every Saturday morning for breakfast. From the places I have tried for breakfast in Winchester this is by far the best food and at a good price. The staff are great people who know how to have some fun at work and still take care of he customers. If you are looking for a place for some breakfast or even a tasty cheesesteak (the only thing besides breakfast and soup I have had from here) stop in and eat up.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast around 1030am. Has an old diner feel and look with the old lunch counter stools and 4 tables. Robert, waiter, was very attentive and friendly. My wife had the Homerun ( 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 pancakes & home fries. I had the Greek omelette with home fries. Both meals were very very good! We were surprised also by the amount of food you get for the price. The cook (owner) cuts the sausage down the middle so it is cooked thru and the home fries are thinly sliced. Overall, we would be back for the breakfast and look forward to trying lunch/dinner. Highly recommend!!! Bon appetite!!!

Had breakfast here, very quaint place great atmosphere, the owner was personable; service was also quick and attentive. Reminds me of a place from the past in a great way. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best omelets I've had! Would definitely recommend this place.

We tried the new Ronca's breakfast and lunch place on the pedestrian mall last weekend. We've needed a new breakfast place downtown and so were anxious to try this. It's a small site with two or three counters facing different directions which seat about 10 people. There are 3 or so tables inside and outdoor seating too. We sat at the counter which faces the "kitchen" and were able to take in both the short order and the service area. The short order cook and waitress own the restaurant. Believe it was their son helping them out with service. They've only been open a few weeks and the cook/owner said they can't find anyone to work at the restaurant. The cook told us that he's worked in restaurants all his life, but this is their first venture to own/run a restaurant. They were really busy this day and their lack of experience with service and timing showed. On more than one occasion the order was not written out completely and the cook had to have the server go back and ask the customer how they wanted their eggs cooked, what kind of toast they wanted, etc.etc. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries and my husband had the Greek Omelet and home fries. He said the omelet and fries were very good. The omelet was full of all good things Greek and the home fries were well seasoned. I ordered my cheeseburger medium/med rare and it was well done. The lettuce was crispy and tomato was home grown, but, unfortunately, the burger was dry. The problem was the timing. The cook put the burger on to cook too early. Same with the fries. Both burger and fries were done before he started making the omelet. Right before plating the fries the cook put them back in the grease to heat them, I guess. The result was greasy fries. Even though they didn't do great this time, I'd give them another chance. They have good potential. The cook asked us about the food and he was genuinely interested in our comments.
