Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Cheese Pizza doesn't get any better. Something about this pizza gives me a certain sense of nostalgia, like it should be served on a pink styrofoam tray. I don't know if its the greasiness, the thick gooey lining of imitation cheese or the simplicity of it all. But it is sooooo delicious!

I was very disappointed with the service I got from this place. I chose to have the food delivered instead of eating in. First the person taking my order couldn't get my address down. I had to repeat and spell my address 3 times. He even wouldn't let me finish my address before asking what I wanted to order. The next disaster was the food took almost an hour to be delivered. When I got the food it was cold. Nothing is worse that cold fries. On top of that my order was wrong. I called and complained and they said they would have my order replaced and I would have it in 20 minutes. 40 minutes after my last call, I called and asked where my order was. They said the driver was on his way. I don't live that far from the resturant maybe 15 minutes. An hour after my complaint call I called back and wondered where my food was. They said they would call the driver and then call me back. 2 mintues later they said the driver would be there in 3 minutes. He did show up 3 minutes later. The food was somewhat warm, and mediocre. I won't be ordering from them again.

Pizza Palace is a local pizza place located in Sterling Park's big shopping center. This pizza joint is very very good, the pizza is outstanding quality, and the prices are amazing. I first noticed Pizza Palace when i saw the sign in the window saying the carry out deal, for $5.99 you can get a large pizza as long as you pick it up, of course toppings cost more, but only like a buck more. I tried it after seeing the great price and was surprised at how good it was, i highly recommend going here. What is funny is that it is right next to a Pizza Hut, but i wouldnt even think of going there with Pizza Palace so close. Trust me, this place is quality pizza like you have never tried before. It is located right next to the old Ultra zone, if you are having difficulty locating it.

Ordered food online, took over an hour for delivery, and not only did the food come cold but the order was wrong. They did not advertise certain things they added in their food on the website (for instance, sandwiches that come with added ingredients like mayo). After talking on the phone asking to be refunded or having a replacement sent out, I was told that they can't do that and was hung up on. Terrible service and I highly recommend to not order food from here. Nothing more to say other than that.

This place has solid pizza. Not really a place to dine-in (they only have two tables), but the carry-out special is $6.99 for a medium (12") cheese pizza. Toppings cost extra. It's made pretty much just the way I like my pizza though. So greasy that the cheese will slide off if you take a turn too fast on your way bringing it home. Service has always been fast when I've ordered (10 minutes!) but overall, this is 4 stars for value and convenience. It's a place that locals get pizza from. Honestly, I prefer pizza from here over Papa Johns or any of those chains any day. I think the thing that makes the pizza special is that it has a certain flavoring...the sauce (or something) is very slightly sweet and it really adds something to the pizza. This place used to be my joint back in the day. I can't believe there were no reviews on it yet. OH! One more thing, if you've never been here before, it's in the area behind the CVS. It's a little tricky because you can't see it from Sterling Blvd.

Only gave one star because you cannot give zero. Three tries to get the phone number and address correct. Asked for green olives base on the new menu received in the mail and they do not have green olives. Never have. 30-35 minute delivery time took one hour and 8 minutes. After 45 minutes, when I called to ask where the driver was the phone man told me he was "minutes away." Driver ended up at neighbor's door. No biggy. Pizza was ordered with thin and crispy crust. Arrived New York Style and doughy and undercooked at that. Asked the driver to please return the pizza. Called the restaurant to demand a refund and was told that a new pizza would be out in ten minutes. Huh??? I must say I was rude to the manager as he was rude to me. Bottom line, do not waste your time. LIttle Ceasers is a better option.

Looks sketchy but the steak and cheese is DELICIOUS and they have a deal that includes soda and fries for under 8 bucks. Can't beat it.

Be careful. We got over charged tonight. Didn't get the right food. What we got was below par and could have gotten better from the freezer section of the grocery store.

I love this place! Peruvian Chicken and Lomo Saltado are to die for! Also, the pizza and subs are delicious!

my family and i have been ordering from this place for over TEN years. it's gotten to the point where they have our address stored on their computers (i know, it's sad) I remember they delivered in record time once when we had that awful thunder snow shower back in 2011. My personal favorite is the cheese pizza with extra cheese, but my family swears by their buffalo wings and i cant remember them ordering wings from anywhere else. their pizzas taste authentic..i cant explain it but all of the other chain restaurants in the area cant compare to this one local homemade pizza place. it tastes like it came right out of your oven and is definitely the only good pizza place in the sterling area.

Never order food from here. The staff are rude and are utterly unhelpful. On behalf of a friend of mine, I highly recommend not to order from here as his order took over an hour. His food arrived cold and to his surprise found that the meal came with certain ingredients that were not listed on the menu. On top of that, the staff hung up on him when he tried to reason on a replacement or refund. Hanging up on customers is completely unacceptable and should be accounted for and dealt with.

Not only did it take over an hour for delivery, it was some of the worst food ive ever had. Undercooked doughy mozzarella sticks, way over cooked dry fries & cheesecake that had a terrible freezer burn taste. The only decent part was the steak and cheese and it was pretty terrible too. I only live 5 mins away - how I got cold food is just baffling to me. So many other places to eat at in Sterling, I would never waste money here again.

Love this place. I've become a very steady customer lately, and we love their charcoal chicken and sides especially. Pizza is also very good as the name would suggest. Last night we called them pretty late, and they said they were closed but were apologetic. My GF and I were trying to decide on a #2 preference when the phone rang and they called back to say that for such regular customers they would still deliver. 35 minutes later or so we were tearing into another delicious charcoal chicken with creamy black beans and rice. That's going above and beyond in my book.

It's a pizza place but the menu has variety on items such subs, wings, peruvian food. The charcoal chicken is good. But it takes forever when you order to go.

It's a good place to go eat sometimes the service cannot be the best but the food is really good.

  • Jasmine W.

Had to give it 1 star since giving it 0 stars wasn't available. Took over an hour for delivery and I live 5 mins down the street. Food wasn't prepared how I requested it to be. And the food wasn't even good. The only thing that was decent was the chicken tenders, but how hard is that to make. Fries gross (even if they had been hot which they weren't) sub, no good. It was really basic. Never ordering there again.
