Great wings, good price, better than the chain wings across the street!

Pretty decent wings and other greasy foods place. They've got a lot of different sandwiches and burgers in addition to the wings. The ones that I've had are decent. The first time I was here, I had a really good sandwich, I think it was the gyro cheesesteak. Unfortunately they don't have that any more. As far as the wings. They're pretty good. They have a lot of different flavors, but I stuck with the Hot buffalo sauce. It was good, except it wasn't hardly spicy at all. There are two more levels of spiciness above hot, so if you want hot, get the crazy names instead of hot. Prices are decent. Once you're inside the setting is pretty nice, they've got big screen TVs with ESPN playing. But, the shopping center that it's in is pretty dumpy. And getting here is a little confusing.

6 stars. Best wing place I've ever been to, hands down. I've been going to the Wing Factory since 97 or 98, and they've always had fantastic wings and fingers. I live out in Phoenix now, and I often salivate about making a visit to this place the next time I come home. So as for recommendations: they pretty much have a sauce to suit any taste. My personal faves are Suicide Ranch, Spicy Honey Garlic Butter, and Hot. Really, though, I've never had a bad sauce here. I would also recommend going on Wings & Fingers night ( I forget which day it is now). 10 wings and 5 fingers is usually plenty of food, and it's a couple bucks cheaper than the all-you-can-eat. Oh, and steer clear of the Flatliner, their ultra-hot wing. That shit is spicy! Like seriously, the "not even good" kind of spicy, where it just hurts. I guess if you'd really like your name on the wall give it a try, but I did this back in the day and regretted it, particularly the next day.,.

it's 6:30pm on a Sunday and one of the bartenders and her "group" are at the bar being obnoxious, screaming the already loud music playing, while blocking the path to the restroom. They started calling me a bitch each time u walked thru them. beware: Unresponsible drunk people can ruin business

We went on their thursday AYCE wing deal. $14 isn't that good of a deal but still it's fun. The place was packed with nervous-looking high-schoolers. It was chaotic and the service was very slow. Wings were alright. Happy hour until 7, $1.50 for bad beers and $2.50 for normal beers.

If you're in the DC area, this small chain of restaurants has the best Buffalo wings outside of Buffalo. This Sterling location is the original location and is set in a small strip mall that is kind of hard to get to since the streets around it have been made into highways and a large over-pass bridge, but once you get to the restaurant it is well worth it. There are usually drink and food specials each evening, to include an "all-you-can-eat" wing night. The wings range in flavor anywhere from mild, to traditional hot Buffalo sauce, to the the "flat liner." They also have other flavors such as spicy ranch and general Tso's. I have never been dissatisfied. The menu also has an extensive sandwich and appetizer list for anyone who doesn't want wings as a full meal. This place also has a full bar and many TV's for watching games. Great for families, happy hours, or just coming to enjoy a meal. I love this place, and being from Buffalo, NY myself, I can attest to the authenticity of their wings and Buffalo wing sauce.

These are the best wings I ever had!!! The Sweet Firecracker Boneless wings are awesome!! I highly recommend this place!!

As buffalo wing places go, this is pretty average. You get what you expect. The wing is the thing here. I've frequented the Sterling Store for years mostly on a takeout basis. You have to order the wings in multiples of 20. The rest of the menu is pretty average. The pizza is sub-par. We pretty regularly get the "shrooms" and the Potato skins and they are good. The location is difficult to find and get to if you haven't been there before. The access from the main road has been shut off and you have to use local neighborhood roads to circle around to get on.

I really enjoy this place - and they have GREAT happy hour deals! Yum yum yum.

My absolute favorite lunch spot. A couple months back they added a quick lunch menu that's a steal. 6.00 for a drink 6 wings and fries

4 stars for a "you know what you're going to get" kind of place. Tons of beers on tap, lots of choices for wing and non-wing fans, and every game is on at least 1 tv. Poo poo on all the reviewers who are commenting on ambiance...it's a sports bar that is family friendly, it's smoke free, it's clean, and it's cheap(-er) than other options in the area. Beer specials to the end of the game on Sundays. Other days have food/drink specials as well. If you don't like posters of patriots and other "random football teams", just wait till Nascar is in full swing....

I am not sure how this establishment received so many stars. While traveling we Yelped Wings Sterling VA. We walked in last night and almost turned around and walked out but the reviews were so good that we decided to give it a try. Took awhile for a server to come to our table even though there were only a few diners. When I asked her what she liked on the menu she replied "I don't eat anything here, I have been working here for 10 months" . I asked what that meant, she said she was tired of everything but she will eat the Loaded Fries. That should have been our exit BUT we were hungry so ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wontons and 10 Wings. After she brought the food to our table she let us know that she would be at the far corner of the bar learning how to play poker if we needed anything...REALLY??? The Wontons were overcooked and were basically missing the filling, the wings were fine, nothing special. When she finally came back to our table and we asked for our bill, she asked how we liked our meal. I responded "now I know why you don't eat anything here" She looked surprised, when she returned with our bill she said she hoped I would not write anything on Yelp about her...REALLY??? Think I need to make a call to Robert Irvine from Restaurants Impossible!!!

It's always been important to me to regularly update, either on a as-needed basis or just regularly, in order to provide accurate reviews. As such, there have been some changes at BWF that are worthy of an updated review. Specifically, they now have Woodchuck Hard Cider - yay! Baby steps, folks, baby steps. I have faith that eventually, they'll have a more consistent beverage offering, but for now, I'm happy to see a small change. I also tried the chicken fingers. Die hard wing lovers may not see the beauty in the chicken fingers, but they are good and provide a nice vehicle for the sauces. You get a generous serving (which I can never finish) when you order the 5 and a whole lot when you order the 8. The downside is that they are so good that I have to physically remove them from my reach when I am full, because I will keep trying to eat them. So, these are good things that make me (and my tummy) happy. On a bit of a bummer note, most of the staff has left and there are only 2 remaining veterans. However, it should be noted that the new servers are very attentive and try really hard to make your visit a good one. So, I've upgraded my original review to 4 stars - for a wing joint, it's hard to find better.

For this area, these are the best wings you can get. I am a lifetime supporter and fanatic of Quaker Steak and Lube (best wings usa), which is based in Sharon, PA, but since that isn't right around the corner I like BWF for my local wings fix. They have a pretty good selection of sauces--you have the usual mild, medium, and hot, (and super hot and more), but you also have great FLAVORS like lemon pepper (not like lemon and black pepper, think lemon butter with cayenne), spicy honey garlic, and a few other original flavors. Yeah, I know, everyone wants to eat the wings that get your name on the wall, the ones that turn your poo into fire for days, and you can do that here, but if you are less masochistic and still like spicy AND not so spicy foods for their FLAVOR, not just their bravado, BWF will do the trick. They also have an impressive selection of draft beer. The staff is always friendly, polite, and industrious (I always see employees cleaning in their down time rather than socializing, something that makes the restaurant manager side of me beam with pride) -- but please note, that only goes for the Sterling location. Reston does not have that kind of consistency or commitment from the staff. Good wings for a great price. Best wings in Virginia.

Yeah, this is my afterwork hangout and we go so often we know the menu and specials without looking at the menu. The wings really are good except there's less consistency on Thursday's because it's all you can eat wings and chicken fingers. The wings are very good, ask for extra crispy, can't stand soggy wings. There's a daily happy hour and special, the tenders are friggin huge, not really a tender but half a breast from what I can tell. Their hottest wing is the flatliner, good and hot, you have to sign a release and you get your name on the wall if you can eat 10 or something, only seen one guy try it. He stopped halfway and started starting at the wall while everyone was eggin him on. Very casual place, good food, drinks and prices. Sad but I can't comment on anything else other than the wings and tenders, I've never tried anything else & I've been there more times than I can count. It's a wings place for crying out loud. Btw, there's a Buffalo Wing Factory in Sterling and it's alright but it's pretty commercialized and the wings aren't as good. Try the sweet flamin jerk sauce, my buddy loves that stuff, I think he could bathe in the stuff and lick himself clean if he could.

My favorite Buffalo wing place in the DC metro area to go is BWF. It's exactly as how you would imagine it...just a regular sports restaurant with a huge selection of wing flavors to choose from like mild, hot, 911, spicy honey garlic butter, honey mustard, suicide BBQ, and many more. Usually I order the 911 which is 3rd hottest on the menu since that's the hottest I can take. 911's can vary on day to day though, sometimes they can be hot and somedays not that hot. However, if you are an adventurous type and can handle very spicy foods I dare you go get the Torrid Zone (2nd hottest) and if you have a death wish order the Flatliner (they make you sign a waiver to eat this one). They also have a huge selection of tap beers to choose from along with many tv's to watch a sporting event while enjoying your wings.

i didnt like the actual decor itself. i mean in what world is posters of the patriots and other random football teams considered classy? it was just bar food and i usually feel pretty heinous after that. but the act of eating it is pretty fun. i made the waiter bring me a salad, a sundae and french fries at the same time. he probably thought i was either dying tomorrow, high, or a complete idiot. there's also this stupid sauce called the flatliner that basically shoots through your entire body just in time to ruin your meal. i still stick to cluck u's!

  • Jerry F.

pretty yummy wings. I had the new orleans and the spicy bbq...didn't try the spicy stuff. They have a bunch of wings, including the new orleans, that are cooked in butter, and you can really taste it :) it's good, although it covers up other spices and flavors. The service here was decent...the waiter came by periodically, although it seemed like whenever i thought of something I needed, the waiter wasn't around. But the staff was fairly attentive. If I ever go here again, i think i'll need to try the spicy wings :)

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and decided to stop by based upon reviews of fellow Yelpers. When we arrived we were told we would have a 20 minute wait; however, our wait was only 5 minutes. My wife tried the sampling of 4 draft beers for $10. I sampled them as well. Three were local craft beers: Meridian Kolsch, Soul Shine, Red Kolsch. None of them were outstanding. In fact we agreed that the Red Kolsch was definitely off our list for the future. The wings were Fantastic! My wife had the 911 Buffalo Wings and I had the Fiery Garlic Parmesan. Both of these platters are worth making a trip to this small restaurant. We topped the meal off with Fried Oreos. These truly are Amazing! We did have to wait a bit longer than we thought it should take so I gave a four star rating. Otherwise, the service was good and friendly.

I was expecting something better. I've lived in the area for a while and never got around to testing it out until recently. I walked in and the staff was nice, though not very helpful (the long haired guy with dreadlocks). He did not seem to know the difference between the different levels of spice/flavor. Anyhow, I ordered the extra spicy (the only two hotter than that were 911 and one other that I cannot remember the name of) & the spicy honey BBQ, as carryout. They told me 10 minutes, and it took about 10 minutes. But the reasons for my low rating are as follows: 1. Staff not being knowledgable about their product despite mentioning that I had never been there before (perhaps it would be wise to fetch a manager or supervisor who can better advise your customer). 2. When I got home, and I opened both the boxes the wings were mainly just fried and there was just a tad bit of sauce on bottom of the box. Meaning, whatever sauce that was there, was at the bottom of the box, which I had to scrape on with the wings. I'm not saying that my wings should be swimming in sauce, but they should have enough flavor, not where I can just look at it and tell that this is just fried and there is nothing on it. Unacceptable for wings. 3a. The actual flavor: As mentioned I got Extra Hot. I didn't feel a single kick from eating these "extra hot" wings. Perhaps I have a high tolerance for spice, but if you're going to offer Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, 911...Extra hot should have something right? 3b. Spicy Honey BBQ should really be titled Honey BBQ. Again, I could be wrong but my taste buds could not taste a single lick of spice. 4. I thought celery was a must-have with wings. I didn't get any celery. I really wanted to give you 2 stars because I was just extremely disappointed. But I'll be nice and give you 3.

Ok spot to hit for lunch . The chicken dip was great and it has a little kick to it . Wings was average, at the bottom of the basket it was an inch deep of butter .... Heart attack meal can't do that too often.

Monday night = 60 cent wing night. They have a great selection of beers on draft. There are quite a few options of wing flavors. My favorite (surprisingly, as I'm typically a plain mild girl) is honey mustard and the fire and ice. The service is always fast, the prices are good and the selection of food/beer is great.

Ive been going to the Wing Factory for a long long time, so let me give you the break down, the daily specials are 4 stars, the beer selection is 4 stars-30 on Tap(now they have a couple of bottles of liquor and wine but it's not a full bar), I give the service 3 stars and the food overall is 2 stars The Food-The wings are small but the sauce selection is awesome, the burgers are so so, the Chicken fingers are hand made and the best I've had anywhere!! Some of the specials are: all you can eat wings and fries, 1/2 price burgers, $1.25 dom drafts and others, depending on the day But I go there to watch college football mainly and I'm satisfied with the beers, multiple TVs and those damn chicken fingers!

  • Victor H.

We had our fantasy football draft here and were usually here during NFL season. Wings have a ton of sauces and are solid along with the chicken tenders. The pizza is good too. Also they have beer specials with for football which is a nice plus. The staff is usually on although they get annoyed if their team is losing (I don't recommend trash talking their team if they're losing). I do wish this location would renovate their interior. It's a nice joint to hang and watch sports with friends but could use upgrades on the furniture and the decor. I guess I'll have to increase the drinking to make my surroundings more attractive!

Great place! For.the most part amazing staff! Just feels like a great family restaurant! The food is always yummy!! My favorite wings are the peppery parmesan! Favorite food The Crispy Chicken wrap! Make sure you leave room for dessert! The fried oreos are amazing!

This is a great place for game days, or when ever you're in the mood for wings. I love their boneless buffalo wings. They are crunchy, saucy, and not dry. The sauce they use is just right. The only thing is that there is always a wait here, at least when I have gone but that may be because it's always to go watch the game. Anyhow everyone is laid back, oh the wait for your order may be prolonged at least for me at always is. Check it out, personally I like them more than BWW.

I truly do enjoy the wings here. Tuesday's wing sampler platter is, in my opinion, the best night to go. Customarily the servers are very nice and helpful but lately - timeliness has been a huge issue. Just today for example we ordered a couple baskets of wings, 30 minutes later nothing had still arrived. We asked for our bill, paid, finished out drinks, and still nothing. On our way out, we asked to speak to a manager whom very cavalierly said "oh sorry" and that was it. It was a disappointing enough experience for us to contemplate not returning again. I hope these issues are resolved because we would like to return to this restaurant!

This place is not in the best looking location, but my husband saw so many reviews about it he wanted to try it. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted by a hostess, who would also be our waitress. It was open seating and we were allowed to sit anywhere( it was not many people there at that time). When we sat down I noticed that this place def. needs a make over. The table coverings are worn out and coming off the tables, walls needed painting, and just various upgrades. To be only one waitress our waitress was very fast and attentive to all of the customers. Not sure what everyone was talking about regarding service. We placed our order and our wings came back out in less than 5 minutes.. I thought that was really quick cause wings normally take at least 10-15 mins at other places. When I tasted the honey BBQ wings I was hardly impressed. The chicken tasted as it had sat and the sauce was just thrown on it. The sauce tasted as if it was spaghetti sauce and BBQ sauce mix together.. Not good. The bar area looked weird, a lot of the beer selections had cups over them. I normally order drinks but I wouldn't have ordered one from here. I am giving this place a two because our waitress was friendly and so was the cashier that we paid the check to. If not for them I would soooo give this place a ZEro if possible. The cashier said this was the original location, that doesn't mean they should keep it looking like a museum exhibit. I was not happy with this location and probably won't return until they get some renovations going and better tasting wings.

I'll keep this short: great service, great food, reasonable prices. The New Orleans wings? They're the mind-bendingly-amazing. I like pretty much all of the flavors, but the New Orleans? RIDICULOUSLY GOOD.

  • Jarrod W.

This is our favorite wing place, especially on Mondays for the 60 cent wings. It's a great atmosphere to bring kids, and the staff is terrific. Melissa is the manager and is always around, she's not one to hide in the back as she will take orders, bring out the food and even try to distract the kids on occasion for us. We have also had a few business meetings at this BWF location and our clients enjoy the beer specials along with being able to catch just about any game you can imagine on the many TV's in the restaurant. Chris is an excellent waiter and bartender, start singing any random 90's song, and he might just finish it for you

First timer for lunch .. to go ...OUTSTANDING flavors... I had the chicken tenders with cheese bread... my new lunch place for sure...

  • Mike B.

Best wings in the area. Great selection of beers and other snacks as well. The pizza is also amazing. Try the pizza and wing combo and ask for a few flavors of the wings, they will break them up into 5's for you if you ask. They also have grilled wings if you want to be a little more healthy, they take longer, but are very good also, ask for the sauce on the side.

  • Johnny A.

It's not bad, but it's not great either. I'm not sure what all the rave reviews are all about. The wings are OK, not spectacular. They are over-sauced for my taste, but the fries were good. The service was much better than anything one would get at BW3, but overall nothing to write home about.

  • Vincent J.

The best wings I've had in a long time. I actually found this by searching for wings through yelp. I read some great reviews and considering it is close by figured why nit give them a try. So happy I took the option to try out The Buffalo Wing Factory. Wing Heaven what they should call themselves. I ordered my wings naked with sauces in the side (spicy crab, New Orleans and hot buffalo). They over 30 different sauces to choose from. I plan on trying each one in time because I am hooked. All wing orders also come with celery and your choice blue cheese or ranch. I also hear they have a 60¢ wing Monday which gives me a reason to visit soon.

Even though it's a bit off the beaten path, this place has great wings and usually better service than the one in Chantilly. I always pick BWF over BWW when given the choice. Good local craft beer selection and nice variety of wing sauces to choose from. It can get crowded sometimes for big sporting events or weekly specials. But all in all, my favorite wing place. Favorite sauces: Fire N Ice (boneless) Spicy Crab (wings) Suicide Ranch (either) Spicy Garlic Butter (wings) Peppery Parmesan (boneless) 911/Torrid for extra heat (either)

I stumbled upon this place after shopping at Belfort furniture, and I am so glad I did! They have the absolute best wings I have ever had, PERIOD! I've tried several flavors and they are all crispy and delicious. The spicy crab wings are my favorite, the Old Bay seasoning still makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Just sit at the bar and enjoy one of their several draft beers (they have a little bit of everything including several local beers) with some wings and curly fries, you can't go wrong.

My family and I were in there last Thursday and were enjoying everything up until the point that one of your servers, apparently angry for some reason or another slammed through the swinging doors right by our table. He wasn't our server but if your employees are so unaware of the customers around them, I doubt we will be back. It was rude and totally uncalled for. If it helps, he had a beard.

    (1)
  • Kathryn W.

Absolute favorite wing place around here!!! You have to try spicy ranch!! Location is a little out if the ordinary in a run down shopping strip, but this place is the diamond in the rough. Service is great. It's a bit pricy...that's my only complaint. They have all you can eat wings every Thursday night for $17.99. If your in the area, check it out!

    (4)
  • Bryan D.

The food is good here, and the prices are reasonable. Our waiter was attentive. He even had new drinks out to use before our empty mugs even hit the table! Well worth a visit if you're in the mood for wings!

  • Carlos H.

Me and my colleagues went for a birthday to Sterling location. It's tucked away in a strip mall so you really have to be on the look out to find it. But it's well worth it as there food is good. On Thursday is all you can eat Wings, Bites, and Chicken Fingers for around $17.00 + tax. All my colleagues and I except one had all you can eat so we could try the multitude of sauces they have. All sauces are very good (loved loved loved the Fiery Garlic Parmesan would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that sauce though I wouldn't recommend the spicy crab to salty). If your looking to eat a lot stick strictly with wings as the chicken fingers are huge they aren't fingers they are toes aka mini meals and bites are good but little oily. Only thing lacking is service. It's not great by any stretch. But that is the ONLY THING WRONG. But would still return.

We have been regular customers and the wings are perfect! We lived in Buffalo for years and they compare to the Anchor Bar !

  • Matt H.

Wings here are always good. They gave my son a game console which was nice as it kept him engaged and I still had access to my phone. The service was pretty poor but it seemed to be isolated to my server as the others were pretty engaged with their tables. Took him about 10 minutes to even check on us after the food came out.

    (3)
  • Ryan B.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...took about 35 mins for a 5 piece of chicken and a wrap....you can see the cooks playing around in the back eating and taking there sweet time...not only to top off the long wait...I got a chicken sandwich and not a wrap..the chicken fingers were soggy and the breading just fell off....then the refund policy requires another 10 minutes...never even got my wrap or an apology....they even kept sandwich...terrible service...I won't be back!

Low-key and set in a seedy little plaza off of Church Rd. This place is like the local wings & beer place. It's an interesting mix of older folks, young families, and the local 20-30's crowd. The service is always friendly and helpful, which is a plus. There are a bunch of tables and booths around, so there's generally enough seating. There's also an L-shaped bar that you can hang out at. There's really no clutter here, so it feels a bit sparse to be honest. Maybe it's the colors of the walls and carpet (maroonish and green) There's sports memorabilia on the walls and plenty of TVs to keep your eyes occupied. The wings here are actually excellent for the price. You get an order of 10 regular wings or bites in any of the sauces they have (count 20+) for under $10 after tax. Not too shabby. Fries are nice and hot and a generous portion. The water/drinks cups are hilariously fat. This is going to be my go-to neighborhood wings place because it is a local joint and doesn't try to upsell any branded products.

  • Joshua J.

I go here quite often. Wings are good, a nice crunch, not overly sauced, but i do think they just make things up when it comes to some of their sauces, i mean mixing hot sauce and blue cheese to make the fire and ice sauce, i can do that at home. i expected more out of the mango habenero, not sweet at all and very pasty like ketchup. As for the beer selections they had my favorite beer Golden Monkey but no longer have it, i had been getting mixed messages from employees about they discontinued it or not, MAKE UP YOUR MIND. Really no caesar salad come on now. Staff there is great Chris Opie is the man(expect he is a cowboys fan), Jessica is cool too, I think one of the bartenders name is Shannon cool person too. If you are looking for a sports bar you may not get much of an experience like a normal sports bar like BWW but its more like a local eatery on a beaten path. good place though.

My coworker and I went here for lunch. We were sat quickly and the server was attentive. The food was served in good time and was delicious. I recommend the Crispy Chicken Wrap (mine was no bacon or onions). Curly fries were good too! My coworker had the nachos and was impressed and satisfied. It's not on the main road and in an interesting tiny shopping center but I totally recommend it.

3.9, just short of 4...So I've been here a few times with friends for the all you can eat wings on thursday nights. For 15.99 it's an absolute steal!! They have a HUGE variety of sauces for the wings and their craft beer selection is amazing. They have a happy hour until 7PM which works out to about a dollar off each beer. What brought this down was the service, which I almost feel bad complaining about because lets face it, during an all you can eat wing night you should expect a place to be packed...Our waitress was pretty on top of our beers but the wings took a while to come out it seemed like...Not sure if its a small kitchen or what but we seemed to be waiting a while in between rounds. Overall this place has a good menu and is definitely worth checking out. they have nightly specials that make it very affordable!!

The wings are awesome, especially on 60-cent-Mondays. But, their service is atrocious. Consistently atrocious. We often go for lunch during the week, and whether we are with a large group or small, it takes 40 minutes for our order to get to the table.

Been coming here for 14 years. Far cry from what it used to be now that it is a franchise. Small wings. Over cooked. Changed to heavy breading. Good beer though.

Dropped by here today (Monday) because we were in the area and were looking somewhere for lunch. I had 10 wings for $10.49 (which we later found out they run a special on Mondays for only $6!). I got the spicy honey garlic sauce and it was mildly spicy but very good. My husband had the buffalo chicken wrap and loved it, but said the sauce was hotter than most other mild sauces you get elsewhere on buffalo wraps (aka. At BDubs). Biggest downfalls of the place: nothing fancy interior (sticky table & my chair was falling apart), extremely noisy, nit-pick pricing ($0.69 for extra ranch), and also don't come here by yourself as a woman (I was the only non-staff female of the 10 other tables in here!). Service and food was good though and we would come back again.

Your typical wing restaurant with wings and beer. The mild wing sauce is great for us wimpy wing eaters and the hot is a step up. The service is good and the staff is friendly. The wings are a little expensive but the restaurant feel makes up for it.

Have gone to buffalo wing factory a bunch of times and decided it was time to give my two cents. Only time I've ever been here is for wings so that's what this rating is based on, can't speak on behalf for the other food here. I've tried several different flavors and love that they have so many to choose from. The service is okay, nothing great. There have been a couple times where I'm sitting at my table thinking to myself, okay wheres the waitress at? When I want wings it's here or glory days. I probably won't ever get any other food here other than wings but when I have a craving i know the factory will cure that.

The wings were okay. Hard to mess up chicken wings. The food was cheap. The beer was cold (if you sat at the bar). When we got a table I could not get a cold beer. I sent back a warm beer and got another one. Also it was VERY crowded with young high school kids. You know the story to that, lots of yelling, and bumping into your chair when someone walks by. At the bar there were a bunch of red necks burping loudly. Other than that, it was okay. Not somewhere you would take a date but good for guys to hang out. All in all I would recommend this place.

I love this place! They know exactly who they are. They treat their regulars like family and are always happy to welcome in new diners and educate them them on the over 30 (i think) flavors of wings AND beers on tap. They stay true to their brand while still introducing new items. But I do miss the potato skins! Also, my vegetarian friend was able to enjoy one of their salads without the chicken!

I used to come EVERY Monday for lunch. Why? 50 cent wings. I am a huge fan of wings, and will pay basically anything for a good basket of wings. Throw in this curveball of 50 cents, and I will be there. Needless to say, I do not go every Monday anymore. I moved to Arlington, and can't make the time to drive all the way out there to eat. However, I still try to make it from time to time. I sure miss it. My friend still goes without me, for he works in the area. He is quickly becoming a familiar face, as he sits at the bar by himself. Always orders the same flavors. Like me. Well, I used to only order torrid zone wings. Torrid zone is the spice level right below Flatliner, which is their challenge flavor. I have sampled the Flatliner sauce before, and I was KO'ed. I can't imagine eating 10 of those. Torrid is actually really spicy, and despite the pain it gives me, I can't seem to stop ordering it. Paired with fries, it provides me a great, satisfying, spicy, and painful meal. So delicious. Lately, when I do go, I have downgraded to the 911 level (one below torrid). Still spicy enough, and this actually allows me to enjoy what I'm eating. Very satisfied with Buffalo Wing Factory. The building looks kinda dreary. Staff has been very pleasant every time I went. I miss coming here weekly.

The wings here are pretty fantastic. They have a huge variety of sauces to choose from, and they give you a good amount of sauce. I can't stand when a restaurant gives you virtually no sauce on top of your wings. This place definitely has it down right. The service could be a little more responsive, but it's not terrible. If you're a fan of good old spicy buffalo wings, try the 911 sauce. It's the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Definitely gives Buffalo Wild Wings a run for its money.

I lived in the area for 10 years between 2000-2010. Buffalo Wing Factory was the "Go-To" for many of those years. Pros: They have some of the best buffalo sauce I have ever had. Particularly the extra hot, 911 and spicy BBQ were absolutely delicious. One of my favorite sandwiches the Buffalo Bill is at this establishment. Cons: Over time the prices have kept increasing while the size and quality of the bone-in wings were diminishing. It was obvious that owners were looking for ways to increase profit by finding smaller and cheaper wings. Maybe their rent was increasing or other things, I am not sure, but the quality went way downhill. By the latter years I found myself looking at other places to get wings. Also their pizza is absolutely disgusting. Hopefully they have turned things around

We are here almost every Monday for 60 cent wings and bites. Absolutely love the grilled options and wide variety of flavors. Always friendly service and a great bunch of folks in the restaurant. Always a positive atmosphere.

Great wings and cold beer. Good/quick service. Sports on the TVs. Hit this place 2 times in 1 week, it was that good. Ordered 50 wings both times with about 4 different flavors. Check it out.

This is a local hang out place tucked away under the newly (a few years now) reconfigured Rte 28 in Dulles/ Sterling. I was craving wings and decided to give this place a try. We ordered house special beer and it was HORRIBLE putting it nicely! Worse than the worst beer I have ever had :( Luckily the wings were better (some). We ordered 3 types of wings: Spicy Honey Mustard - as expected it was mind but tasty Suicide Ranch - not close to being spicy as advertised. My tolerance to anything spicy is pretty low and even I did not feel it was that spicy. So then we requested if we could get a taste of the Flat liner sauce to which our server obliged! This sauce sure is VERY spicy. But it was also good in taste - from the small lick I could attempt. We settled for some Torrid Zone spicy wings. My friend loved it but it was too spicy for me! Ambiance - the restaurant is in a strip mall and is essential one big room with a huge area for the bar. Lots of local families occupying the tables. Place was quite busy for 9:30 PM on Friday night (in Sterling). Place was too loud tho - the juke box was playing all kinds of music and the kids (tweens and teens) were causing quite a ruckus by the gaming area. Would be okay as a local dive but thats about it for this place...

Great food and management! Amazing wings with tons of flavors. We had a small problem with the ordering and the management did a fantastic job solving the problem. Would visit and recommend again.

Service stunk, wings were small, could not get enough napkins, and flavors were very disappointing.

Friendly service, very casual feel. Spicy lemon pepper wings were a bit lightly sauced for my taste. Spicy flamin' jerk buffalo bites took the cake though: the bites easily recoated in the sauce, which in itself was pretty yummy. Celery wasn't at its peak, but was at least still nicely crispy. Ranch didn't taste like it had been sitting out for too long. No blatant complaints on the garden salad on the side. Flatliner sauce wasn't too bad in terms of personal spiciness tolerance, but tasted awful. Completely forgot to have me sign a waiver when I picked up our order, which was okay by me since I secretly wish death upon my coworker anyways. I think this might have been the place where my friends and I went once in high school; my attempt at the flatliner challenge ended when some sauce got in my eye after a klutzy adjustment of my glasses. My only other memory of that incident was the built-in gratuity for groups larger than 6.

When it comes to Wings, this is the place to go, and I don't mean their other locations, I mean this one. The dingy old crappy-ness of the shopping center has to have something to do with the taste of these wings. I've been coming here for 20 years, since I first moved to Loudoun County and there wasn't much beyond Sterling; and the highway nearby was two lanes. Onto the food, don't get anything but the wings, dont get a sandwich, don't get pizza, get wings, and a lot of them. Favorite Flavors: Spicy Honey Mustard (just discovered how incredible these were this year), Honey BBQ, 911, and Flatliner (if you want to ruin your day). I will say that their Chicken Fingers are super unique, a breading/batter like nothing I have ever seen or tasted before. They sorta remind me of an egg roll coating, but for chicken fingers. *This is the one exception to my rule of only getting wings. They always have different specials each night, so check their website. See if you can eat a Flatliner, I have.

Their beer menu was decent, and the wings/apps weren't bad. We went for a work function, but I'd go back. Service kept up with our very large group. Fat Tire on draft!

Went there this evening and got a basic salad and 5 chicken fingers. The quality of the food was good, however...my waitress had no idea about anything. When I asked about the salad and what type if lettuce they use, she had no clue. She confirmed they had iceberg and romane. I ordered iceberg and got romane. It was still a good fresh salad though, just not what I ordered and I didn't feel like being the guy to send it back, so I ate it. Also while I was ordering I asked about the differences with the chicken fingers, and bites. She didn't know expect the fingers were bigger pieces, so I went with that. Well, I shouldn't of. I wanted a boneless wing. I got a super greasy peace of fried chicken. 5 actually. I saw other people get there food and I felt like I ordered the wrong thing. I wish I would of just know the actual differences in the breading they do for the wings if more like what ya'd get on a piece if beer battered fish. Very flaky and a mess. Worth giving another shot, but disappointed in the servers knowledge of the menu. When my spicy BBQ sauce came out you could tell it hasn't been mixed so it was just hot sauce and BBQ sauce, I asked my waitress if I needed to mix them cause they looked separated and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know"

This buffalo wing chain offers some of the best wings in the northern VA area (much better than BWU). Service can be slow sometimes but the food makes up for it. Plus, with the super large sodas they give you, your cup is never empty. I was kind of adventurous once and tried a DAB of the flatliner sauce.... kinda felt like my throat was closing up. Even one of my hispanic friends couldn't handle the spices, and Mexico is KNOWN for spicy!!!

Good wings. Alto of sauces to choice from. Usually get curly fries too, but got buffalo chips instead :) Nice craft beers on tap.

Two words,GO THERE! If you like your wings HOT, you will not be disappointed. They have three levels of buffalo sauce, 911, Torrid Zone, and Flatliner. The 911 is hot enough, I struggled through the Torrid Zone (with a lot of extra ranch dressings), and wouldn't even consider the Flatliner! Great come as you are casual place to eat wings, nachos, pizza, whatever and relax.

The last time I went here was way back when it first opened and was just a take-out place with no seating. I thought the wings back then were kind of "meh". So...we decided to try them again. We went on a Saturday around 5:30 p.m. Since we hadn't been since VDOT screwed up the whole traffic pattern there due to the interchange, we just drove straight down Shaw Road and managed to find the shopping center. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Already the place had several customers---a good mix of couples, singles and families. Our waiter showed up after a reasonable amount of time. He was friendly and efficient although when we were ready to pay the check, he got busy so we had a bit of a wait to give him our money. For an appetizer we ordered the fried zucchini basket. It was ok but more like "have a little zucchini with your batter". I ordered the 10-piece garlic butter wings while my husband ordered the 10-piece bbq wings. The garlic butter wings were crispy and well-fried. However, the sauce was a disappointment. Little of it seemed to be on the wings. As I kept eating, I noticed that most of it had settled to the bottom of the basket. However, what I tasted of it did taste good. Too bad it didn't do a better job of sticking to the wings. The bbq wings, which I tasted, were just ok. The sauce had the consistentcy of ketchup but had a vinegary, spicy taste. One thing we did like was the large soft drinks that previous yelpers mentioned. Also, I was pleased to see they had sweetened ice tea. Would we go again? Eh...I don't know. I never say never but I think I like the wings at Wings N Things better...

A little disappointed. I ordered a salad and asked for hot sauce and dressing. They charged $.69 for each one. Salads are terrible there. Wings are good, but they always charge for dressing even for wings when you pay $8.49 for 10. Rip off.

I work pretty close to BWF, and go there 3-4 times a month. Usually on a Thursday at lunchtime. They have a deal, Unlimited Wings, Fingers, Bites, and Fries + drink for $15. I sit at the far side of the bar and the bartenders have gotten to know me to the point where, a couple weeks ago, I sat down and there was my usual Sierra Mist waiting for me. Wings are good, Fingers are Great! They have a sauce of the month that seems to alternate between great and meh month to month. But you should ask your waiter what the sauce of the month is. It's often a more complex flavor, combining other sauces or introducing a new flavor to an existing sauce. One story of note was they had a new waitress and somehow she didn't put my order in correctly and I didn't get my food for a while. (I usually have my food in front of me within 5 minutes of ordering) I was reading and didn't notice for 20 minutes. By the time I realized what had happened, I had to head back to the office. I told the waitress to have my order boxed up. The manager heard about what happened and comped my meal on the spot, got me a fresh drink in a to-go cup and put together everything very neatly in a bag. As I said before, I've been going to BTF for a year and a half 3-4 times a month. This was the first mistake they've ever made with my order and they took care of it immediately. I certainly couldn't ask for more.

We ate here again on a Friday afternoon. Our waitress was very nice, and she interacted well with our kids. It took awhile for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait. We took advantage of their 1/2 price burger special on Fridays and my Mushroom & Swiss burger was excellent. My son also enjoyed his burger while my daughter thought her children's portion of teriyaki wings and curly fries was very good. We tried their "buffalo chips" side dish, which was a mix between potato chips and home fries, fried with a spicy coating. Not bad. This restaurant remains a very good place for families.

Best wing flavors, big wings, good beer prices, and Thursday night is all you can eat. Its not like some "all you can eat" places where the service is so slow you are forced to stop. The servers are all friendly and hustle! Suicide BBQ flavor might have been crafted by Greek Gods.
