You know when you find something and you think to yourself... "I could happily eat this at least once a week indefinitely" - that's the Cultured Swine's BLT with house made thick cut bacon. I mean, damn. Everything is good. The tamales are excellent, stuffed with delicious pulled pork (also found in sandwiches and tacos and in my belly because it's so good) and the tamale sauce is perfectly vinegary with just enough kick. Other stand outs include the beef bulgogi and the macaroni pie. Plus the staff is great and the prices are reasonable.

Fantastic! My husband and I experienced the cultured swine for the first time tonight and it was all around the best experience. My husband ordered the 3 amigos, each taco was individually delicious, everyone different. I personally had the BLT sandwich and let me tell you it was the best BLT I've ever had in my life. I asked the chef to substitute the mayo on the sandwich for their house Italian ( because I'm just not a fan of mayo) and I had to ask for a side of extra dressing because I could not get enough of it! What ever you get make sure you can try it with a side of that dang delicious house Italian dressing. Not only was the food fantastic the owners were so sweet and willing to help. That's not something you find in a lot of restaurants these days. I would recommend everyone try the cultured swine!

Amazing and unique food! Had the go go bulgogi sandwich and the meat was cooked / seasoned perfectly. My significant other had the tamales and she loved it!! Will return soon for the BBQ! Two thumbs up for the amazing service as well

It may have been because they were slow, but good food and customer service all around. The barbecue was far above average and the strawberry basil pie was delicious.

Friendly staff, incredible tacos, and pork sausage with sauerkraut with delicious spicy mustard. Who knew you had to import Coca Cola from Mexico to get the real deal, with real sugar!! Highly recommend the taco trio for Carolina pork, Korean influenced beef, and chicken with mango salsa. Great spot for quick lunch & soon offering dinner options.

This place just opened. It has a lot of potential. As of right now, it's just ok. The bool go gi had good taste, but was a bit tough. The pork in the tamale was a bit bland. They need to step their game up.

This place is a must try. The pork BBQ, on a bun or a taco,is some of the best in Richmond. And the GoGo Gogi, Korean BBQ Beef is amazing. Kudos to the chef's wife who bakes a killer pie as well. To top it off the service was excellent. You order at the counter and food is brought to you. The woman working the front of the house was so friendly and helpful that it made our decision to come back that much easier. There are plenty of seats inside, but table outside on the sidewalk is great this time of year. Easy 5 stars on this combo of awesome food and excellent service. You need to try this place.
