Straight up hip hop club. Came here early on a Friday night before the Club really got into full swing. This place may say it's a restaurant but I saw nothing but club. The space is a nice long bar area with room for 20 to 30 people surrounded by 5 or 6 mini lounges separated by little velvet ropes from one another. Think of 5 velvety, leathery, plush, cubicles with no walls only velvet ropes. They were rocking a solid 3 star review but I am such a sucker for the stand up piano they had in the mini dance area I bumped them up a star.The music is hip hop, rap, and top 40's dance. Kanye meets Lil Wayne with a touch of Gaga. The drinks they serve are pretty standard. Beer at $4 (Corona, Bud, Miller) and club drinks starting at $6(AMF, Red bull and ___, other well drinks). This place can get pretty rowdy and busy on a Friday, Saturday so be prepared for a bit of a line if you are making a late appearance. Little tip. Want a nice booth/cubicle for your group? Come early and hold done the fort while enjoy the happy hour specials, they are first come first serve.
