The best barbecue sandwich in the area. I simply loved the mustard cole slaw. It's a shame how many people live right in the area and have not discovered this jewel. Take my advise and try it out got yourself. You will not be disappointed!! I highly recommend the fried shrimp, green beans, seafood platter, and barbecue sandwiches.

Daughter and I went for sit down dinner a few months ago. Menu limited and sat for 30 minutes waiting for service. We left. Was first and last time we will visit this low end place.

Good food and great service on this day after Christmas for a family gathering of 12 at midday. The BBQ is average NC style, a bit on the spicy side, the fried chicken is freshly cooked per order and very good. Our sides were ok green beans, good Lima beans and good hush puppies. The lunch special lasagna was a bit dry. The desserts sampled were very good lemon merangne pie, chocolate merangne pie, cherry cobbler and pecan pie. The service was excellent.

Jones' is the epitome of a local, down-home, country restaurant. I would venture to say that their specialty is fried chicken; however their barbecue is also really popular and delicious. You do have the option of eating inside of Jones' and the few times I have done this around dinner time the place is usually packed. It is fancy inside at all, it's one big dining room with a few tables and chairs. We usually call our order in ahead of time and just go to pick it up. When you get to-go orders the portions are still big and everything is always hot when I pick it up. Jones' is a good example of supporting a hardworking local business and I recommend them to anyone who wants some delicious country cooking!

Always solid food, be it the chicken wing appetizer or the brunswick stew or the flounder platter. Best hush puppies ever, and you can't beat the price. Wait staff is solid so you don't lack for attention. We enjoy it each and every time.

FOOD: "Okay", We had the Thursday Daily Special: Lasagna and the BBQ. "It was "okay". It wasn't hot...the side salad was average. The garlic bread was only toasted on one side and there was no garlic taste only butter. SERVICE: We walked all and weren't greeted, there were 3employees standing up by the back counter. Our server was nice enough once she came and took our order OVERALL: All in all I doubt I'll return.
