Wing Command Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Wing Command has been on my list to try for quite some time. I finally decided to make the trek south of the river to try it, since I had been craving Filipino food. I had a little trouble locating it in the plaza it is in at first, but it turns out it is in the same square as one of my other favorite places, Wasabi! Wing Command is such an unexpected combination of (American) fried chicken and authentic Filipino food. The interior of the restaurant is fairly spacious with lots of seats and it definitely looks like your typical pub, and many of the patrons do indeed come for the buffalo wing deals with the myriad of sauces. However, I was on a mission to get Filipino food, albeit just to-go. I ended up ordering quite a bit of food for both my friend and me: pansit palabok, lechon kawali, sinigang na baka, daeng bangus, and mussels. All Filipino dishes come with a side of rice (except pansit and lumpia). All of the food was absolutely delicious, and it smelled so enticing as I was making the drive to my friend's house. The pansit palabok was a wetter version of the stir-fried plain pansit I am used to, but it was great! Pansit always reminds me of the Taiwanese dish 米粉. Lechon is always a win, and Wing Command's was nice and crispy. The bangus (milkfish) was good, although the fish itself was a small one. Mussels were tasty, and I had never had Filipino mussels before. The only dish that was a little disappointing was the sinigang; I've had and loved sinigang in the past, but Wing Command's was overly sour and salty, at least on this visit. Can't comment too much on the service since I got takeout, but the staff at the register who took my order was friendly. Since the food was made to order, it was about a 20-25 minute wait for the food. But it was well worth it! =) Would definitely come back to try more of the dishes on the menu, and maybe some of the wings as well. Just wish the restaurant was closer to home! P.S. I forgot to take photos of my food. =\ But I'll post a picture of the Filipino dishes menu, since the website's menu is apparently not up-to-date.

Haven't had Filipino food often so was excited to come here. My friend and I were roadtripping down south and stumbled on this little gem. The staff were super nice and attentive. When I asked for chopsticks, our waitress said she didn't have any.. but next time we came back, she'd have a pair for us. We ordered some soup with greens and oxtail, noodles and wings (long list of seasoning to choose from). No complaints, just good ole comfort food with lots of sports tvs. I bet it would be fun to be there during football season. Also had Halo Halo for the first time - reminds me a lot of vietnamese desserts, filled with so many different exotic fruits and flavors. Sooo good, we slurped it down in less than 4 minutes.

This is definitely a great place to get wings and Filipino food! They have a wide selection of flavors for their wings. Personally, my two favorite wings are Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan. They're so good! For Filipino food, I like to order the Dinuguan, Lechon Kawali, Sinigan Manok, Chicken Adobo, Pork Pansit, and Leche Flan. Wing Command is only one of the few places that has Filipino food in the Richmond area. The owners here are very nice as well! They always make us feel right at home all the time. Wing Command is also a great place to go to to watch sporting events. They have so many TVs in their restaurant!

Let me preface this review with the following caveat: while I have eaten food from Wing Command on at least a dozen occasions, I have NEVER actually eaten in the restaurant -- I always get take out. Also, I've never partaken of the Filipino food that they seem to serve off the side out of the kitchen; maybe one day. That out of the way, this place is hands-down my favorite wing joint in town! Better portions than Hooters and better sauces than BW3. The have, literally, dozens of flavors from the run-of-the-mill (Mild/Medium/Hot, BBQ, etc) to the ultra-creative (Strawberry Chipotle, Garlic Pepper, etc). A bit of warning, unless you specify otherwise, the wings here come naked (i.e. no breading). That said, I am in love with their sauces, so I always get my wings breaded so they hold the sauce better (plus, the breaded variety are a bit bigger). Be aware that should you opt for breaded, there is a $1/dozen upcharge, but it is SOOOO worth it! To my point above about sauces, the run-of-the-mill are always available and don't change often. That said, the more exotic varieties seem to be more seasonal. For example, over the years I've seen Raspberry Chipotle, Strawberry Chipotle, and Peach Chipotle. All are super tasty and unlike anything I have seen an another wing joint (BW3 included). Some of my personal favorites are: Roasted Garlic BBQ: Rich, sweet and tangy BBQ base with a hint of garlic. Not overly garlicy, but just enough to know it's there -- great balance to the sweetness of the BBQ. My wife swears that these are the best anywhere, bar none. Garlic Pepper: Think wings tossed in garlic butter, then sprinkled with a combination of cracked pepper and garlic powder. Guaranteed to stave off vampires AND hit the spot for tastiness! Jamaican Jerk: Smoky, zesty and slightly sweet with a hint of heat and undertones of cinnamon and cumin. Absolutely delicious! My only complaint about Wing Command is that the service, even for take out, can be REALLY slow at times. They just about always quote 15-20 mins for a call-in pick-up order, but I don't think it has ever actually been ready that fast. As long as you count on the wait, you won't be disappointed. Besides, the wings are WELL worth the wait!

Wings are Delicious!!! Got the garlic parmesan, teriyaki, and mild. This place has tons of TVs and would be an awesome place to watch the game if your big chain bar is packed. Would have given 4 stars but the service was ennhgh...

Good was banging! We ordered takeout... Lumpia, chicken pancit, and a variety of wings. Definitely going back. I haven't had Filipino food since I moved from Va Beach. It was a nice treat after a stressful weekend of moving and unpacking 2200 sq ft of house. I will say that the wait was a little too long for my taste. The young woman behind the register who took my order told me about 15-20 minutes but after checking with her 30 minutes into my wait, it ended up being close to 40 minutes for food. It was piping hot when I got home so in reality I cannot even complain.

Nice cozy Sports Bar with plenty of large screen TV's. The Filipino Food is AWESOME! I had three kabobs, one pork, one chicken and on beef. It was served with a mound of rice, Filipino collard greens and soy. My drink was a dirty martini. Funny thing, the bar tender did not know how to make one for she had only been there a short time. I walked her through the steps and she made the best vodka martini ever! It was a little on the pricey side for my taste but it was good. Now the wings: I highly recommend you get your wings breaded. For one they will be much larger than unbridled. 2. they will hold on to the sauce. Speaking on the sauces; this place has many delicious sauce to choose from for you wings. They have you typical hot and mild, but also Lemon pepper, jerk and many other. I really enjoyed this experience and will be back next times I'm in the area.

I came here for Filipino food on a whim. If you're a MCV/VCU student, the drive is a bit far but totally worth it if you have a craving. First, during happy hour, it's 2 dollars off any appetizers. My table ordered the lechon and lumpia. If you've never had lechon, it's like a crispy roasted pork. Unfortunately, the pork was completely dried out....close to jerky and was really hard to eat. That's probably the only dish I would avoid when I come here again. The lumpia however was much better. The ratio of wrapper to filling was off but I enjoyed them. I had the pork adobo for dinner and it was SO GOOD. Warning, it is very fatty but oh man, mixed with rice, that is asian home cooking at it's finest. I also tried the chicken adobo and I think the pork is just a tad more flavorful. The halo halo is a must for desserts. The shaved ice and ube ice cream is the perfect palate cleanser after all the deep fried and fatty goodness. My entire meal during happy hour only cost me 14 dollars. If this restaurant was closer, I would definitely frequent it more often.

Who knew that the Filipino food revolution was starting in Midlothian Virginia? Relaxed atmosphere, well priced and tasty food, friendly and attentive service, what more could you ask for? We drove an hour for Filipino food and it was worth it. We got the beef sinigang, perfection, Pork humba adobo was slightly sweeter than what I'm used to but still very good, pancit palabok was delicious and halo halo was good too. We'll definitely make the trek down here again to try the other menu items.

I love GOOD Wings, those that I tried here were OK, Hot is not Hot! Flaming is not Flaming! Some others were favorful. I ordered 24 (4 different sauces). I got one drum of each favor. I'm 59 and the Sports Bar Decor is OK but can't stand the music they play, had to take my iPod in while waiting for the food. Girls drinking beer at the bar, cursing and complaining to the Bartender that there's no business is always a good sign of the clientel.

Went there for a birthday party. Had the wings (garlic and pepper), greasy and flavorless, in fact, smelled a bit like fish, I bet they use it for frying the "whole fried tilapia" on the menu too. Seasoned fries were decent but nothing to write home about. Did not try the Filipino food on the menu, if the Filipino food tastes as mediocre as the wings, then this place has nothing left to brag about!! I am not going back to find out!! Booo....

Friendly service. Wings were okay. Tried the spring rolls and I didn't taste anything special. I don't think ill drive that far from home again for those wings.

Great new location! Love it... the wings are still amazing, the atmosphere is great.... took my family from the west coast here while in town for the best wings in Richmond and of course we were not disappointed! the best, A+++++

Just discovered this place, and as a native Virginia Beach girl with Filipino food restaurants abound, I'm so happy I learned of it. They're a wing place and serve full Filipino food menu also on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They have a $.49 wing night Tuesdays and Wednesdays, karaoke Fridays and Saturdays, and show boxing and UFC matches when they're on at no cover fee. Prices are good. They do party platters and cater Filipino food as well. With definitely be a frequent flyer of this place.

Finally, a Filipino restaurant with a full traditional menu! The food is soooo craveably good! I have been searching all over this city for something like this. I can't believe we have such great Filipino food right here in Chesterfield! They are even open late! Thank goodness!! Usually, being hungry after 9 or 10 PM would mean starving or eating crap food, but no longer! The raspberry chipotle wings were decent, but I wished the sauce were thicker and bolder in flavor. They were, however, nice and crispy. The star of the show was the pancit palabok, or rice noodles in a fresh, tart broth with pork cracklins, hard-boiled egg, and shrimp. I really can't imagine a better late-night dish for my taste buds--satisfying, fulfilling, flavorful, but light enough to not feel weighed down. I ordered the small, and it was definitely a nice-sized portion. I don't think I'd ever order a large, unless my husband and I were to share. My only complaint here is the decor. The restaurant is in need of a serious update. There's no ambiance. The restaurant is very neighborhood sports bar meets ruritan club. I wish there were more of a warm, inviting feeling to match the great food. There was also a stale smell in the air. The place is older, but had a smell of old bar and harsh cleaner in the air. I almost started to leave because of that. I would go for takeout, i think. I really wish they'd at least update the paint because they have a seriously good thing going here. This place is definitely one to check out, but not for a date night or anything special. Prices were reasonable, Filipino food flavor was outstanding! I wonder if they cater because a tray of kababs for a cookout sure does sound wonderful! I think ordering a tray of marinated, raw kabobs to grill yourself would be even better.

Decent wings with a lot of different flavors. The hotter "wet" wings were better than the dry flavor we got (the cajun). I remember the celery was some of the best I've had. Weird comment I know, but it was crunchy with no stringy parts. Tried a couple of the Filipino dishes, including the stir-fried noodles. It was very homemade and not fancy. The interior was much more bar like, but very clean. I was impressed. Lot of TVs but only one has loud sound and it makes it kind of confusing at times. If we lived closer I may go back but I wouldn't travel out of my way here. If you really like filipino food it might be worth the trip.

Kaldereta and the dinugoan were okay. Dinugoan was a Lil sweeter than my liking. Lechon kawali was pretty good. Waitress was not on point today.

Went for lunch on a Saturday and ordered the wing combo (12 wings, fries, and a Filipino egg roll) for $15. Although there weren't many people there, it took a while to get the food (20+ minutes). Wings good but not real big and rest was good as well. Saw they had lots of to go orders that were being picked up and that may have slowed things. Was offered desert that after ten minutes was told that it want available. Waitress very good and did well to keep us happy. Overall good but not over the top.

First off, nothing will ever beat mom's food...ever. BUT...there are some places that can come really really close and this is one of them. Everything was pretty great. We had some pork adobo, beef sinigang, wings, lumpia, pancit, and some lechon. All were pretty great although i felt the pork adobo was a little too done......it was still devoured. Loved the sinigang, almost made mom a little too scared there. They could serve a little bigger portion of rice with the meals. Prices were pretty decent, for the amount of food we ordered, i was pretty shocked at the total (in a good way). Definitely recommend stopping here and grabbing a bite!

Is nice to have a place to enjoy some Filipino food when the urge arises. Had a nice sampling of their appetizers on the first visit and was not disappointed. The traditional wings are not overly breaded and the favors we had were very tasty. Definitely gonna make the place a regular hangout.

Great local joint for drinks also introduced me to some bangin' Filipino food. I get a large diniguan and a Yuengling and call it a day.

Wonderful local Wing joint. I gave it an extra stars for having added Filipino food items to the menu. And now with their larger location, it's my favorite place to go for wings.

Pretty damn good wings...much better than BW 3's and twice the size.

Just moved to Midlothian from Atlanta, GA where we could always find good wings, and was disappointed with the wings we had been getting until we found Wing Command. BW down the street didn't even have Lemon pepper wings and the don't fry the wings crispy, even if you asked. Wing command had 24 flavors and the wings were perfect. They were also very friendly inside. I have been back 3 times since last week. Thanks Wing Command

DELICIOUS. I just ordered wings to go from Wing Command. They came out fast and deliciously hot. The hot garlic wings are absolutely amazing. Don't be scared to try the fruity flavors either! They're just as good! My boyfriend tried both the Razz Chipotle and the Straw Chipotle, both cleverly tasty! The place was also clean and full of fun sports memorabilia. It'd definitely be a place I would frequent if I lived closer. Try it out!

A good place for watching football on Thursday/Sunday/Monday. The owner is great and very welcoming! The filipino food is pretty good as is the wing menu.

  • J S.

I agree with the last reviewer. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The selection of wing sauces is great and their main attraction. I've been with my family and friends to sample both wings and Filipino food. Definitely go for wings. They have TVs for sports fans to enjoy as well. My favorite sauces so far are the mild and hot garlic. The mild wings are really crunchy which is a nice change from the norm.

As this is my first time having Filipino food, I can't say I'm a good judge for this but I must say I like the food a lot! Our group went there for lunch and ordered small portions of 5 dishes and eat family style. We got chicken pancit, pork adobo, menudo, garlic and parmesan wings. Out of all of them, the chicken pancit is the most popular among our group! Great taste, good ratio of noodle, meat, and veggies. If this place was closer to campus, I would go here everyday and order this for takeout! The pork adobo is also a hit. I like that they weren't afraid of including a decent amount of fat. The sauce was so yummy that we were slurping it up by the spoonful! The garlic and parmesan wings were great too. On the other hand, the menudo was jusk okay, very similar to American beef stew. As for the ambiance, it is nothing special. Just a sport bar that happened to serve delicious Filipino food. Our waitress (I believe her name was Meghan) was very attentive and knowledgeable. The furniture has seen better days but there are plenty of pool tables and TVs for entertainment. They do have happy hours starting at 4 with $2 off appetizers. To finish the meal, we ordered Halo-Halo as dessert. It quickly became one of my top favorite dessert choices now! It reminds me of Patbingsu, a Korean dessert, but more decadent with all the condense milk and flan pieces. If you come here, you must try it!

Fun place! Although it's kind of odd looking from the outside, the inside was quite nice. It's not an upscale bar but it's definitely a local, sports bar. The staff was friendly and they serve all your typical bar food PLUS Filipino food. That was quite a differentiating fact for me. It's probably not the BEST Filipino food out there ever... but for a local watering hole, I was very impressed. I ordered the grilled chicken skewers and my friend and I shared an order of lumpia. The app was tasty - not too greasy which I was very appreciative of. The chicken was AMAZING! Not over cooked, juicy, and well seasoned. It came with some rice, but honestly, I didn't need it. The portions were pretty large. I'd definitely come back.

  • Lisa G.

I must've forgotten my previous review, because I was disappointed again. The pancit was okay. The lumpia was okay. The pork adobo was a very generous portion, but SO FATTY! My mom wouldn't even eat it, and I had a ton left that I didn't even bother taking home. Waitresses (not the kitchen) are on the slow side. This is a hangout. This isn't a place you go for great food. Get some wings, beer and listen to some live music or sing karaoke.

  • Coronda L.

I've been here twice and I would say that food was better the second time around. The first time I ordered pansit, lumpia, and turon; the lumpia were perfect, the turon was good, but the pansit was way too salty and a little on the dry side. My second visit I opted for lumpia, pansit palabok, lechon kawali, and kaldereta- all were absolutely delicious! The only thing I noticed was that the pansit palabok was a little dry, but other than that everything was wonderful.

Their Halo Halo is to die for! Their food is authentic, and full of flavor! They staff is incredibly delightful.

Great wings & lots of sauces to choose from. I would love to try the Filipino food one day because it always smells good (yes they have more than wings). This is a great spot if your looking to get away from the hooter/BWW crowd and still watch football with some tasty wings. The spicy teriyaki is good & so is parmesan-garlic. Love that they will give you ranch & carrots as well. They also do take out! Check it out!

Went here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with my brother in law and my nephew. When my brother in law told me that this was a filipino restaurant, I was completely skeptical. First off, it was a pretty far drive from Richmond. Secondly, it was hard to find in such a big but empty plaza. Just to save you the agony of finding it, it's near the end of the plaza in a stand-alone building. Upon walking in, it looks so much like a sports pub. There are tv screens lining almost every inch of wallspace, including a huge projector screen in the middle of the restaurant. (They were playing the Olympic games so I was pretty entertained) The menu was pretty large. especially the varieties of sauces that come with the wings. I of course had to get the garlic parmesan, mainly just to compare it to other places I've tried. We ordered lumpia, tinalong manok, kaldereta, and lechon kawali (we wanted to try as many filipino dishes as possible). The wait was pretty long, but the lumpia came out pretty quickly. They have filipino beers! Well, there's really only two of them, but try it out with the wings!! After finally getting our food we were surprised by how good the food was. I'm usually partial to our home cooked filipino foods, but this place hits the spot if you don't get it on the regular. Also a a plus, the wings were pretty good! My garlic parmesan wings had fresh parmesan sprinkled on it, which I don't find normally at other wing places. If you haven't tried filipino food, definitely check this place out. If you're not that quite adventurous yet, get the wings! And for those who usually eat filipino food, this is a great place to eat away from home.

The owner made us feel like family (it is rare to find a San Diego Chargers fan on this coast). Great wings with so many options on style and flavor. There are TVs of all sizes all around, and an area to relax and shoot a few games of pool. All in all, a great place to catch a game or just relax and have a beer.

    (5)
  • Mary S.

Wings are great. Lots of TVs. Tried a lot of different types of wings. They have over 20 flavors. You can get them three ways breaded, boneless, and regular. the breaded hot are just like Hooters maybe better.

I love the wings here! One of the best places for wings I've had in Virginia. I knew this place back when it was a hole in the wall, and got a surprise when I saw it move to a larger location. It's one of the few places in Virginia that serves Filipino food, but there is a reason why there aren't many places that serve Filipino cuisine. It hasn't gone mainstream. Anyways, I love the wings here, and the suicide wings are no joke. Buffalo Wild Wings hottest level don't compare to Wing Command's suicide. Side story: I wanted to celebrate my boy's bachelor's party, so we decided to order one entree of the suicide wings (12 pieces). The guys only took one bite and sweated like Niagara Falls whereas I had 8 wings. It burned our lips, and that night it felt like a fireball riding through my intestines. I have to go back one day and conquer that challenge in Man vs Food!

I read some of the reviews from others and yes the location is somewhat questionable. I questioned if the place was even open when we got there at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. This is not a reflection of Wing Command but the strip mall in the area. The statement "don't judge a book by its cover" is so true. Went in with a group of 4 kids and 4 adults. Ordered a pitcher for the adults and sodas for the kids. Service was quick and friendly. 6 dozen wings were ordered in various sauces. Waitress recommended the hot garlic wings, so we got a dozen of those. They must be the house special. Everyone loved them. All the food was served quickly and the atmosphere was sports related. Only complaint was the temperature inside the restaurant was cold, as it was 45 degrees outside. But the waitress did find a portable heater and set it up for the patrons that were eating. This is a great spot for casual food and watching sports on large TVs. We'll be back.

Best wings in the area! Fast and friendly service. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Family friendly. My family loves Wing Command. We have been eating here for years.

For those of you that judge books by their covers, stop reading and don't go to Wing Command. For everyone else, you'll be treated to awesome wings and friendly service. Their wings blow BW3 and Hooters away, both in flavor and variety. Additionally, the beer and liquor selection is some of the best in town. I was highly impressed that this "hey let's give this a try" sort of place had such a great catalogue of not only the mass produced (but tasty) beers, but also lots of different local and nationally known craft brews, too. With the exception of the lumpia, we haven't tried the Filipino food yet. We're looking forward to going in for dinner soon.

Great place to drink and feel at home if you live in the area. Lots of karaoke and open mic nights. Kids and bikers are ALL welcome! Red Horse beer cheap! Filipino at it's finest! Owner is super nice.

The wings we ordered were not good. They may have been old wings that were re-fried. If I ever try this place again I will not get the wings.

We stopped by this place with some trepidation... it's in a marginally questionable strip mall, and from the outside it looks... well.. iffy. What a complete surprise! It's a sports bar with some Filipino decor -- everything from Buddha to Ed Hardy makes the cut. The crowd was really varied. There are lots of TVs everywhere, so I imagine this is a great place to catch a game. The waitress was newish, so she wasn't the best, but she wasn't horrible. And the food was great. I wasn't brave enough to try the Filipino food (next time!) but the wings were great. I tried the raspberry ones and loved them! Also! They have halo halo on the dessert menu. LOVE! We'll definitely be back.

From the moment you walk in you don't know which way to go either to the takeout window or to the right where the main area is. A bartender not so friendly comes up to you and seats you. The restaurant is very dirty and not very kept. There's different TVs that play different stations everywhere - too loud and way too noisy. I ordered the wings they were good crispy hot exactly the way wings should taste. I also ordered Filipino food which was not so great. The dinaguan too bitter and the lechon kawali was too dry and not that crispy. I will say however the halo halo is very good I highly recommend it. This place is more like a dive bar than an established restaurant.

Fan of supporting local business. Atmosphere is good to watch a football game and the wings are good, but service is not good. If I hadn't walked around and found a waitress I'm not sure if I would have been able to get food. Wings to go and the take out business gets high marks.

I went to Wing Command after work on Friday. I wanted to try something different from the typical wing spots I usually go in the city. Wing Command has a small restaurant and sports bar feel. The restaurant has one large projector screen and flat screen television throughout the restaurant. I was hungry,so I decided to try different wing flavors. Wing Command has a variety of flavors unlike your typical wing restaurant. The flavors range from strawberry to peanut sauce. I decided to go with the ginger peanut, roasted garlic BBQ, garlic parmesean, and jerk. All of the sauces were tasty. The ginger peanut reminded me of a Thai type wing. The garlic parmesan didn't have much of a garlic taste but a lot of parmesean. The jerk was good but it wasn't spicy. The roasted garlic BBQ was flavorful. I really enjoyed my wings at Wing Command. I also had the cheese fries. The cheese fries didn't lack cheese but the fries weren't crispy enough. I still enjoyed the fries. I decided to have a small dessert since I was full. I tried the turan. The turan was meh .Wing Command also has a Filipino menu(I didnt try the Filipino food). The house margaritas were on special during happy hour ($3.50).The house margaritas was tasty. Wing Command has a small seating area outside. There's plenty of parking outside the restaurant (Wing Command is located in a Strip Mall). The service was solid. The employees were nice. Wing Command has a social atmosphere. If you are looking for a different unique wing spot, Wing Command is a good choice.

Y'know, after hearing such good reviews of the place, I was a little disappointed. We ordered 4 kinds of boneless wings, some fried filipino "egg rolls", a rice noodle dish and some fries. The fries were good. The boneless wings were okay. The egg/spring rolls (I'm sorry, the name eludes me and the menu is not online) were definitely not good. The rice noodle dish was okay. I will give it a second chance. I know some places have "off" days. Maybe the regular wings are better. We went on a whim, ordered to go, and had to wait like 30-40 minutes. Next time we will call to order ahead or eat in the restaurant. If it's better next time, i will update my review.

Walked in Friday/Saturday night with the karaoke on full blast, place was lively and everyone was having fun. We were seated at a section for diners and not "karaoke-ers". Expect it to be loud during peak hours! The place is a classic sports bar with TVs and ... sports stuff... (not into sports so I don't know how else to describe it lol) What we ordered: Fried Tilapia - crispy fried, served whole Lechon Kawali - crispy fried pork Barbecue Chicken - sweet barbecue sauce Steamed Rice Filipino Beers - San Miguel and Red Horse (it's a great summer beer) Total Bill was around $40.00 I'm not sure how open people are to Filipino food, most of the time it's not knowing what it is exactly that stops people from trying it but this restaurant doesn't serve anything weird. The menu has a description for each entree and it's a cross between thai/chinese type cooking.

My first experience here was for a friend's birthday party on a Saturday night - karaoke on one side, bar on the other. I was pleasantly surprised at how lively this place really is. Great space for those of us that attended - our party was about 30 strong- so they had to put us in booths too. I ordered a few appetizer plates and drinks and was happy with my mini-meal. The fried mac and cheese was a-maze-zing! I did end up doing karaoke that night (not the best compared to other places around town, but hey, its karaoke). A great night out. The bar area is great for those sports-enthuasists, as they have tv's with the games on. There is a lot of parking. A bit loud on weekends, so kids probably should not attend. Otherwise, great spot.

I have yet to try the Filipino food. Its been a long time since I have had it, so I am anxious to have it again. I actually had wings on Wednesdays a few weeks back. I like how they have a wide selection of flavors. I like how the place is setup like a bar/pub type environment. Great places to get drunk and party, if they allow it. I like how good the hostess looked in her short shorts. I did not care for the cocky, loud mouthed, bartender/owner(?). I don't know why some guys feel that have to show off and act macho around women when other men are present. Is he marking his territory? WTF The only thing I did not like was the fact that the wing special is for boneless only. More importantly the boneless wings are not wings, they are chunks. Chicken chunks are not boneless wings. But they were tasty either way, so I will be going back at some point. Now that I know what other flavors they have I can call in a different flavor as opposed to the generic, run of the mill flavors the girl over the phone gave me.

Two of my most favorite foods: Hot Wings and Filipino Food! Went to this place because I was craving wings. Found out they served Filipino food as well. Being Filipino myself, I don't ever find any places locally for me where I can get fresh Filipino food, unless I cook it myself. So looking at the menu, which prices were fairly reasonable, I figure why not get wings and some adobo! Favorite flavor: Hot Garlic. No flavor can compare to this one. The only downfall to my experience at Wing Command was the atmosphere/service. We went for lunch and there was only one server taking tabs, working the bar, taking to go orders, etc. The restaurant itself felt dead. But I believe they are more known for their dinner/after dinner hours, featuring karaoke and whatnot, depending on the nights. I would come back again simply for the food.
