Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Service here is total crap. Placed online order ahead of time and came 5 minutes after scheduled pick up time and was told that it will be another 10 minutes. Pretty much that meant they havent done anything until I came into the store. It wasn't even that busy. This wasnt the first time I had an issue here.

I have no idea why this Pizza Hut is still open. Everything here is horrible. I only order carryout and every time I walk in, I'm ignored for at least 5 minutes. No "hi, I'll be with you in a minute." Nothing. I might as well be invisible. Service is always slow. I would stop coming here but my son loves their pzones. The one we picked up tonight had about 5 pieces of pepperoni and hardly any cheese in it.

Ordered meat lover's pizza along with some wings. The order was ready in about 13 minutes. Everything tastes great, especially when you're starving!

I don't know what it is, but the last couple of times I've ordered here it's been so Meh. I used to really like Pizza Hut. Of the "Big Three" pizza chains, Pizza Hut was always my favorite. Their stuffed crust pizza is a guilty pleasure, especially with some garlic dipping sauce. But the last couple of times I have ordered a Stuffed Crust from here it's just tasted a bit off - not delicious like I remembered it. I'm not so sure that it's this location, but rather Pizza Hut in general. The cheese in the stuffed crust seems to be lower quality. And the garlic dipping sauce has a weird taste to it. As for the customer service at this location, it's been fine. My wife and I dined in here once many years ago and it was fine, although I don't think they offer the pizza buffet. The service when ordering take out has been fine. (I never get delivery because I live so close.) No complaints there. But that stuffed crust pizza that I used to love just doesn't taste the same anymore. Whether it's location or (more likely) franchise-wide changes, I'm a bit bummed.

My pizza came in 30 minutes! After reading the previous reviews, I was skeptical about the quality of my pizza. It was good, and the delivery guy was very friendly!

Mmmmmmmm! Stuffed crust pizza! So rich and buttery! Got a large stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and black olives, plus an 8 piece Buffalo wing order (traditional) - to go. Pizza was very good! Wings were a tad on the small side though. You can eat in at this location, however they don't offer a salad bar at this location.

The online system would not work for me. I called my amazing local store and the GREAT manager Lily accommodated me to reflect what the online system would not do. Thank you! Your restaurant is the BEST! Love your staff! And your pizza!

I've ordered here 3 times. 2 of which were on purpose. The third and last time I ordered pizza here I had forgotten just how dry and completely tasteless my pizza was (I ordered a thin crust supreme all three times). I usually order from the Pizza Hut in Reston. That location is really good. I would hate to think it's because of the location that my food looks and tastes bad here in Manassas. It's pretty hard to mess up pizza but somehow and my guess is lack of cleanliness and an uncaring staff, they have managed to achieve the impossible....Congratulations. It really is just that bad.

This location is aweful. My orders are never correct. Ever since pizza hut came out with the new sauce drizzles and crust flavors, i never receive what i order. Ontop of that, this location always forgets wing sauce. Breadsticks are always overcooked, pizza undercooked, and the service is horrible. The location on sudley road is 10 times better.

My wife and I have eaten here a few times. No one's ever there so if you want eat out by yourself this is a good choice. Despite being empty, service is usually slow which is no big deal to me. I like the occasional deep dish pepperoni and don't except much in the way of service so I'm never disappointed :)

Took the kiddies out for Pizza Friday night. Uh..OK. First, I'd like to give credit where credit is due....the Pizza, the marinara pasta, and the alfredo pasta were very tasty and served hot :) My server was a sweetheart and very attentive. However, I can't believe how dirty the restaurant was. I could tell the table had been wiped down, but it was still dirty. The blinds were dusty and I could see the food splatter spots on them from previous customers on prior days. The tops of the booths were dusty/dirty. Why is this important?....if the dining area looks like this I'm concerned about what the kitchen looks like. Also, it was hard to enjoy my meal when I had to keep telling my kids "don't touch anything"!!! And why would you NOT have crayons and paper available for the kids while they are waiting on their food?? I've been ordering carry-out from this Pizza Hut for nearly 3 years and the dining room is always empty, now I know why.

When we arrived it said please wait to be seated. We waited and were greeted very promptly. The server was as nice as could be. We were brought out drinks (and they were big cups too!) So she told us help ourselves. As we did, the 2 top plates had food encrusted on the plates. My father's fork was also dirty...luckily I don't use a fork for pizza. They asked if we were o.k (had to ask for more Pepsi...they should have offered.) I was really impressed by the manager offering the customer waiting for their pizza to partake in the buffet. As for the pizza, it was underdone gooey. when I tried to get a vegetable slice it had either chicken or sausage. I may go here again...but not any time too soon.

Disclaimer: I have reflux (GERD) and pizza frequently does not agree with me but there are some that are just fine and I don't have any ill feeling later, like LEDO's. We have been here a couple of times because it's the closest. The other reviewer is correct. I arrived at lunch to pick up a "Little Italy," and I noted that the salad and pizza bar was not set up for the lunch buffet available at other PH locations during the lunch hour. The "Little Italy" is a large size, oval pizza that has about 16 pieces, approximately the size of two mediums, and it is on special for $12 with three toppings. We had mushroom, onions and green peppers. The toppings weren't the culprit, the tomato sauce was in this case, aggravating my GERD. The only thing I can order therefore is a white pizza. So if we return, that will have to be it. I have tried some of the takeout entrees (at a church potluck someone brought a couple) and you can do better at the grocery store if you don't want to cook, but do heat and eat.

I've frequented this P Hut since it first opened. I have to say that I'm likely done eating or ordering here. The service has gone downhill to the point that I don't like dealing with the majority of the people in there. The pizza is at best so so. We ordered two pizzas today. One large Thin and Crispy Sausage and one large Pan Pepperoni. The Sausage was fine but the pan was blech. Dried out and nothing like the pan pizza of yesteryear for PH. Too bad PH, it's been a good run.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
