Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Just saw Yelp didn't post this when I originally wrote it. Bad Yelp ;-) Came here for the Lunch Buffet back in 2012 I expect. I am finding these pizza lunch buffet places are becoming fewer and farther between. I enjoy them when I can go, but also have noticed there doesn't appear to be a great deal of patronage. Regardless, I went, had lunch, and everything seemed to have met my expectations :-) I was not wowed, nor was I disappointed. I would say I was a satisfied customer.

Horrible service. Our waitress came over to us, put down our menus, said nothing and walked away. A few minutes later she came back and stood there not making a sound. I then said, "water?!." Our drinks took awhile to get. She later took our order, still saying nothing and walked away. Our food took more than an hour to come. We were tempted to have Papa Johns deliver to us. There were only 2 other tables waiting on food; both complained about the wait. The staff was plentiful but the food and manners sure weren't. Someone needs to turn this place around!

I ordered from this location for my daughter's first birthday and the driver (who also took my order) was early, friendly and went above and beyond his call of duty. We were really glad that our order wasn't just another order to them and that we were treated the way we were. The pizza was also nice and hot and yummy!

Order pizza for pick up at 1 and has a pick up time at 1:15. I get there exactly at 1:15 and there is a rather large group there. There are about 5 people working there...one on the register when I arrive two runners and 1 guy in the back "taking phone orders" the phone didn't ring once while I was there. Anyway...the lady at the cash register was taking an order when I arrived so I stood behind her and waited my turn. To my surprise as soon as she finished taking the order she walked away without even acknowledging my presence. I waited for 15 minutes to just pay and get my pizza. I didn't order it in store....I was there on time all they had to do was swipe my card. To be honest...I'm not so upset about the wait, I could see the crowd, but to not be acknowledged is ridiculous. You're busy, but it takes 2 seconds to say "I'll be right with you". Ignored by not just 1 but a staff of 5 people. Finally after catching the eye of the guy in the back he asked me if I had a pick up. I told him yes ( I was extremely annoyed)...he walked out and shrugged his shoulders like "it's not my fault"...took my payment and watched as I signed and added no tip.

Just ordered food from here. Well after 10 mins i thought about her not asking me any info about where they need to deliver or my phone number or even name. So i call back and im on hold for like 7 mins. Probably would've been longer but i pressed the numbers on my phone and they picked up. After telling me she changed it to delivery, she then told me my food will be there in 45 mins and guess what its already made and ready to go. By the time it gets here it will be cold. The people on here are right about this store. Also a friend of mine ordered and they messed it all up and acted like they couldn't fix the problem.

I ordered a medium pie with extra sauce, the better option not the marinara, and the hut favorite crust. I got barely any marinara sauce, extra cheese, and the plain crust. I ordered online, so this isn't a case of lost in translation. I also ordered hot wings. The wings they gave me didn't have enough sauce to cover 1 non the less all 8 the chicken was also so hard I could barely eat it. So, to sum it up; my pizza was wrong, my hot wings were hard and barely had any sauce. That's 2 for 3. Come on guys, get it together.

Called twice and no answer! Ordered by app said it would be 1hr 20mins for one pizza. I love a block away! So went to pick up. Took forever to get my pizza. Way too loud inside can't hear anything. At lease the pizza was good. Service needs work.

The worst. I love Pizza Hut and this is the only one that is closer to my house for delivery. I live around the corner from them, but it doesn't matter...the last 4 times I've ordered from them...it has literally taken well over an hour. Some times they don't even bother picking up the phone. ..like today. And someone's they deliver me burned pizza. ..like yesterday. I have a credit worth them. I'm going to use it as soon as I can get someone to answer the phone and I promise I will never order from them again. I'm over it.

I ordered at 6:20pm so prime dinner time. It took a little long to pick up the phone. And the guy I spoke with seemed rush. He almost hung up on me before I was able to tell him I wanted to pay by card. He did tell us it'd be an hour for delivery. Which was fine. I ordered a large pizza, bread sticks and a 2 liter. It got there around 7:20, so an hour it was. Something happened and the breadsticks weren't there. They were in the order but not there. When I called to speak with somebody I was put on hold for seven minutes. I hung up, figuring I'll just eat the pizza and have the pepsi. Mistakes happen. So I took a bite of the pizza... and it was cold. So I called back and asked to speak to a Manager. She was nice, and polite, and apologized for the mess-up, and gave us a $20 credit for the next order, AND sent somebody out to give the breadsticks. So that was nice. I'll probably order again just to use up that credit, but other than that I'll probably stick with Vocelli's, and Tony's. EDIT; those breadsticks didn't come until just before 9pm. Terrible. I will NOT be returning, even to use the credit.

The $6.99 pizza being advertised on tv was very clear that we can choose any toppings for $6.99. When my husband went to Pizza Hut in Sudley rd Manassas va, on Friday JUNE 19 2015 ,he was told that he can only choose among the prepared pizza. He CANNOT choose a topping for the pizza. So when he got home it was pepperoni pizza and pepperoni and sausage pizza. I ask him why he didn't ask for mushrooms too. He said they won't let him choose a topping. I told him that the commercial said CHOOSE your own Topping for $6.99. I recorded that commercial on my phone. Attention Manager of this Pizza Hut on Sudley Rd Manassas Va, your staff are lazy and you are lazy for letting them do this.

Ordered via phone. Was told it would be 30 to 35 minutes. I literally live across the street. So an hour later I get my food and it was cold. This location needs new leadership or management because this has been a problem for a while now. It's sad too because Papa Johns in farther down Sudley Rd. and I get my pizza super fast every time.

Not sure why everyone hates this place -- their pizzas are no better or worse than any other Pizza Hut. I've never had a problem with service or delivery in the 10+ years I've been going here. The staff is always nice, the wait time is always reasonable.

Placed an order online this evening at 10:45pm for two large pizzas, a 2 liter of diet Pepsi, a 20 ounce bottle of Mountain Dew, an order of the Pizza Hut favorite breadsticks with marinara sauce, & traditional breadsticks with cheese sauce (the whole reason I ordered these was cause I can't have marinara). The order arrived at roughly 11:45pm. It wasn't until the driver had left that I realized the Mountain Dew was missing. Upon further inspection the cheese sauce for the breadsticks was missing and my husband's pizza that was supposed to be hand tossed with extra sauce was instead thin crust with no sauce. Not worth calling to complain since they close at midnight. Won't be ordering from this location again.

It's been a long time since I've had pizza from Pizza Hut. I am not among the PH haters out there. In fact, I've always enjoyed PH pizza - it's just that there is no PH that delivers in the Gainesville/Haymarket area. Called ahead to place an order for pickup and then stopped on the way home to pick up the order. Ordered a large stuffed crust supreme pizza, with extra pepperoni and Italian sausage, plus 10 spicy Buffalo wings. I'd forgotten how delicious and buttery the stuffed crust pizza crust is - particularly the area with the cheese. Delicious! The wings were also good - skin had a lightly crispy aspect to it which I like - I dislike wings with soft, undercooked skin. I only had to wait a couple of minutes when I arrived to pick up my order! For folks that want to eat in - this is a full service Pizza Hut.

i placed an order this evening at 7:55, they said it would be to me by 9:00. It finally showed up at 9:25 cold and dry like it had been sitting out for an hour. I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street. If they were not going to get it hear relatively quickly I could have walked over. The time was not as big an issue as cold dry pizza.

Probably the worst place I've ever dined at. The waiter kept making inappropriate comments and trying to flirt. We waited for the pizza for 45 minutes before I got up to ask the manager where it was and found it sitting in the back waiting to be picked up. When we complained about the service they told us to pack up the pizza and go. The waiter continued to yell rude things while we were walking out the door. Worst customer service, ever. The place smelled disgusting and every table was dirty while walking in and while we were walking out.

I normally order Dominos, but I figured I would try. First I called and the phone rang for about 2 minutes with no answer. I hung up and called back. I ordered a large 1 topping stuff crust pizza and order of wings. They said it would be around 50-55 minutes for delivery. Kinda long, but ok. I called after 1 hour and 15 minute wait. I said I was unhappy and they did not say anything other than he would be there in 2 minutes. Now 15 minutes later the guy finally shows up. Total wait time 1 hour and 25 minutes. To top this off the pizza was COLD! Very hungry we heated it up in the microwave and ate. I called the manager and told her this. She said sorry that the wait time they gave me was incorrect as it is now 80 mins. I asked for a discount. She said they don't do discounts on paid orders and if we want a warm pizza I would have to wait 80 mins for a new one and I would have to give her the old one. No way. Plus we reheated the pizza and ate it. The manager said no can do if you already ate it. Terrible experience for my first time order.

I placed an order for pizza online last night. Was hoping for delivery, but it turns out they, nor any other Pizza Hut on this side of town seem to deliver anymore. For years I have been driving by this Pizza Hut, and never cared to go check it out any further. The locations looks kinda crumby from the outside, and I expected the worst. Boy, was I wrong. I looked around a bit while I was waiting for my order to come up and this place is so clean and in such good repair that it looks almost new inside. The manager was running the register and he looked professional and was hustling. The same for the staff, clean uniforms with a sense of urgency. My pizza came up quickly and looked fantastic. Hot, good looking food! Next time I'll eat in, now that I know the place runs so well.

My local Pizza hut left a flyer on my door stating the pzone was back for a limited time. I have an errand to make so on my way I call in to order the pepperoni pzone. The young lady on the phone then tells me they no longer offer the pzone. I told her that this location just left a flyer on my door stating that the pzone was back. She put me on hold for a few minutes and came back saying nope the don't offer pzone. Thanks a lot pizza hut. Order a calzone from pizzarama since it was in the same shopping center as my other errand.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
