Ok. I did not read the reviews prior to eating here today, I am glad I did not or I may not have tried it. I am glad I went. I had the lunch special - a half chicken with yucca and a small salad. It was tasty, cheap and oh and the ranch dressing was very good as well...I would go back. Those who have commented on the smoking....there appears to be a place to the left which allows smoking and a totally separate venue one door down to the right which is smoke-free. This place also has a peruvian flare to their meal choices.

This dump is finally closed. Went in often only to get lung cancer from all the nicotine dripping off the walls. Good riddance.

I thought all restaurants in VA were smoke free as of January 1st 2010????? I guess not with this place. Lots of smokers all enjoying their cigarettes, one after another. A chain smokers paradise. The fact that you sat inside a cloud of smoke was disgusting. No ventilation, The food itself was nothing spectacular at all. Their sausage gravy is a huge disappointment for being "home made". It was gelatinous and had no flavor whatsoever. At least this place is cheap.

The previous review read my mind about the smoking. We were the second costumers in there and you could smell the stale smoke lingering in the air. When we asked the waitress about the smoking she said that they were attached to the restaurant next door, 4 C's and that because there was separate ventilation they were in compliance. The way the Va code reads the food preparation area has to be in a different ventilation area and it did not appear that way to us. If we had been able to sit in the "non smoking" area we would have, but it didn't open for another hour. I ordered the pigs in a blanket and received what i thought to be pre made hot cakes and small sausage links that were over run by the pancake. The grits were not instant which is a plus, but they were not done. The only thing worth eating was the scrambled eggs with cheese. They were actually really good. My boyfriend ordered a western omelette which was good and the hash browns were also tasty. The French toast was meh at best. We will probably not return any time soon.

Allows smoking. I had a reuben - pretty good. Service and cost was reasonable. Apparently connected to the 4 C restaurant - only reason I would not visit again.
