Good service. I beat the wait by just ordering my meal with the beverages. We already had to wait for a table so why wait longer when we get to a table. Ordered the infamous 4 course meal which leads to no questions asked just keep the food coming! We went close to closing and still got everything at an above average. Food quality and service should be good from the first customer or bowl of soup to the last person and bowl of soup. Our drinks were brought after our 1st course after I reminded the server but that's fine. Everything else went great.

Ah, Red Lobster. You always sound like such a good idea. I'm always sucked into agreeing to meet at your mediocre establishment, by having visions of grandeur regarding your mouth-watering Cheddar Bay biscuits. Unfortunately, you always seem to hit below the mark for me and almost never fail to disappoint. The other day, my eating partner, Amanda, decided that she wanted to grab a bite for lunch before scouring MacArthur mall. I passively agreed, knowing that at the very least I could shove a mountain of astronomically calorie-saturated cheese biscuits into my mouth. We arrive at the RL and stand there while minutes pass, receiving zero service. Finally, after about five to six minutes, we are seated. After perusing the menu, Amanda and I decide to share the Shrimp Nachos (minus the jalapeños and pico). Bad choice. The nachos were soggy before they hit the table and tasted incredibly bland. Amanda ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp, while I order the Shrimp Scampi with rice and green beans. Neither were good. Amanda's salad was overwhelmed by wilted lettuce and had a stingy amount of salad dressing inside of it. While my Scampi was drenched in pure butter versus traditional Scampi sauce that's filled with garlic. The manager could see our disdain with our meals/appetizer and kindly took them off of our ticket. While she was sweet and kind (which swayed me from a 1-star review), it could not make up for the perpetual nausea that Amanda and I felt throughout the rest of the day. Please, step it up, RL. Maybe you would see more foot traffic.

Are they making things from scratch at this location, they must be. If not, the kitchen staff must be constantly waiting for the next shipment of food to come in off the boat because they are SLOW!. My meal experience lasted 2 hours here! 20 minute wait, another 20 minutes to order, that was after sitting for 2 minutes having the waitress ask us if we were ready to order, we weren't...then returning 18 minutes later when we only needed 5. We ordered our food, 30 minutes of greasy biscuits and frozen salad later, we get our food. I got shrimp tacos and the green beans, very good portion size and tasty. The other person at the table got the steak and shrimp. Was in their words, was dry and salty. I enjoyed my food but the service could have been quicker. This must be why Darden is selling this place, it used to be a true gem, now its just worn out and turns me green.

Very similar to most of the other chain restaurants like Olive Garden, chills, etc...the food is always "good". The drinks taste good but are weak, the staff is friendly, and the food tastes identical every time but is nothing to rave about. They do have good mashed potatoes and the cheddar biscuits that they give you are TO DIE FOR! Other than that, everything we had was just okay. The seafood stuffed mushrooms app is not worth the $9, and the lunch options are nothing to go back for. Have not tried but heard the dinner portions are crazy big.

I have been here before for Specials and have rated it much higher. Today's visit was not good. First I must say - the beer was cold and good. The waitress (Jennifer D) was friendly. The Lobster Pizza Appetizer was delicious and very good. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were very good (but 2 were served upside down). I ordered a salad with Caesar Dressing. I got a Caesar Salad (not what I ordered) and the lettuce was bland and not bright green and some was way past prime. I wouldn't eat or serve a salad like that. It was Bottomless Shrimp time and I ordered a Teriyaki Wasabi shrimp (New) and the Scampi Shrimp. It took forever (at least a 1/2 hr) for it to come out. The shrimp was tiny and had no color and had little or no flavor. It was obviously foreign and previously frozen shrimp and farm raised not wild cought. The Teriyaki Wasabi Shrimp had no taste of Wasabi and no kick to it. The Scampi shrimp had no flavor of garlic (which is what makes scampi). I wouldn't buy or serve shrimp that looked like that or had no flavor like that. I got the rice for a side. There was no more than a table spoon of rice on my plate - give me a break. My wife (Monica) ordered a Bar Harbor Salad with shrimp. Her shrimp were like mine - tiny and no flavor or color. The salad was weak on freshness and flavor - definately a bummer. For a Thur with the place 1/2 empty - the service was extremely slow. The food was mediocre at the best and bland and poor at best. I'll not be returning to Red Lobster ever again. I'll post some photos to show the food we had. Go to local seafood market and buy fresh USA food and forget this place that is more concerned about making a buck than serving a decent meal. Jim

Very nice service. Jennifer was very sweet and did a fantastic job. Went in for dinner. Tilapia entree was great and endless shrimp: coconut and hand breaded. Did a calamari and vegetable appetizer and was not a fan. Undercooked and didn't quite seem as calamari is supposed to be taste wise and texture. Brownie dessert was yummy. Nice location and would go back.

We chose this specific location - based on the number of reviews and overall 4 star rating. Another location closer to VB (which was our ultimate destination after dinner) lacked the number of reviews that I would like to see. We drove a bit more with the goal of having a shot at a great meal and were not disappointed. We arrived around 525pm on Sunday night and had to way *unnecessarily* about 15-20m - more on that later. We were seated and one in our party had the $14.99 feast (handbreaded shrimp), another - child popcorn shrimp (he is 10 but eats more and it was a bit small IMO) - he had a baked potato which he ate most of (smothered in sour cream no less). The other two of us - Maple Chicken with roasted veggies and I had the seafood trio. - The cheddar biscuits - I have been to RL many times and quite frankly the BEST I have ever ever had. - The order was mixed up with fries and beans going to the wrong plate - no biggie. - All the food tasted fresh and great and my wife suggested that it was better value than Ruby Tuesday. I agree somewhat. Special note that everything was hot when it came v. sometimes part of a dish comes warm. - The only negative with the meal was with the garlic shrimp scampi in the dish with the trio. Normally floating with artery clogging liquid love. I love that dish for the sole reason that you can mop up that liquid with the cheese biscuits. Gosh what a pairing. Unfortunately, it was a bit on the dry side - the shrimp itself was cooked perfectly mind you - so I don't think it was overcooked and the liquid cooked off. Note: I was advised this dish (perhaps others) is made offsite - product control with exact measurements. Sad (in some ways) if this is the shape of things to come across the chain. - The waiter, Joey, was good - a bit more MIA than I would like - a mid meal "how are things?" would have been nice. We saw that he was hit with a rather group. Minor comment and this did not affect the rating and/or tip. He was there and proficient when we needed him to be and that was the main thing. Finally the manager of the restaurant went table to table asking everyone if everything was fine a nice touch as I have never seen that before. (!!) Which leaves me with a bit of a sore spot - the initial wait. We arrived as I stated and had to wait 20m. When we were seated I noticed that there were MANY unfilled tables. I have never seen this in any restaurant - period. One thing to have to wait for tables to be cleared and cleaned - but never to wait for ... what? I immediately asked the hostess, who seated us, why this was the case. She was going around in circles a bit but the gist I got was "so many tables per waiter". So I then asked "so you are understaffed" - then another excuse - no real acknowledgement of what was obvious. I didn't speak to the manger when she came around about this (a good manager will read these reviews!!!). Could be a temporary thing - I am not a regular. However, I think it is pretty poor to have people waiting for tables when they could be seated. Especially when there are (gasp) three (3) hostesses if you can believe if. ... and lastly -- bathroom was clean.

Probably better than a few Red Lobster restaurants that I have visited but still no better than a three star. We stopped by for a early and quick meal a couple of weeks ago but found it pretty busy and pretty much a zoo inside. But, that was to be expected of a large place that offers fairly cheap eats. We had received a gift card for Christmas and did not want to put it off any longer. The food was ok but not exactly what we expected. I have to say that it was fixed pretty quick but it's still a tough choice to either start while your wife is waiting on her meal to come back out or, sit and let your meal get cold then eat together. The bottom line is that the food was ok but not great, the service was acceptable and the atmosphere was worse than a High School lunch room.

Good food.... But what made it really 5 star for me was the staff... Really wonderful customer service! I would come back to this red lobster anytime I am originally from Japan so i may not have the same views about chain restaurants as the majority! :) just giving my opinion.

As is our family tradition, we went for a double birthday celebration. How fortunate that Lobsterfest would be going on too! Arrival/Ordering: We went on a super busy Saturday evening. When we checked in, they handed us those little pagers and said it would be about 40-45 minutes. We sat down and waited with everyone else. Not sure if it was the unseasonably warm weather or what, but the restaurant was warm, as if they weren't ready to turn on the AC. It was about 20 minutes later that the pager buzzed then went silent. Having heard everyone else's say "Please return to the hostess" or whatever, I questioned whether our pager crapped out on us. It sure did. I'll easily forget defective equipment since they called us much sooner than anticipated. Appetizers: We ordered the usual calamari and lobster bisque. We used to get clam chowder but that lobster bisque actually tastes like lobster. Sooo good. The calamari dish was different in the fact that the broccoli that is mixed in wasn't its typical bite-sized floret. Still good, just overwhelming. Cheddar Bay Biscuits were, as always, hot and delicious. Side salads were good too. They dice their cucumbers which is nice. Diced tomatoes, however... I think I prefer them sliced for my salad. Entrees: Hubs got the Cajun chicken alfredo dish. Not spicy enough for him but had lotsa chicken in it. I had the Lobster Lovers' Dream. After stuffing myself with the appetizers, all I could eat were the lobster tails. They sat under the heat lamp for a bit, I think, but were good. I ordered the Crispy Red Potatoes for a side--I hadn't seen them on the menu before. They were okay. A couple of them were lotsa potato and not much flavor. Overall: We were definitely too stuffed to even think of dessert. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks full. Another waitress even offered to clear our table and get us bags for our leftovers. Other than the uncomfortably warm temp of the restaurant, it was another enjoyable birthday celebration.

Why do people go to Red Lobster? The best things are the Ceasar Salad and the cheese biscuits. Seafood is real weak.

Went on a wednesday@ five hardly any customer's, but to my surprises we had the slowest service we have ever had. The waiter I had needs to hang up his apron! If it wasn't for the manager stepping in I would give this red lobster NO stars.

I have to honestly say that coming here is always bittersweet. You get hyped up with all the commercials and dinner menus and then you show up and leave disappointed . The problem is not with hostess because they work to make you happy and make you stay. The waiters are courteous and professional . The problem lies with the food itself . The food doesn't really taste as fresh as it should , it tastes like it was frozen and then cooked. I can honestly say that I rather eat at Captain Ds than to eat here . At least at Captain Ds you know it's fast food. Overall I consider Red Lobster as an overpriced fast food joint who banks on their telemarketing.
