God awful experience on 11/7/2014! Had visited a couple times prior even though it had been over a year but went in thinking it would be comparable....boy was I wrong. First of all the place was completely dead at 7:00 on a friday night...this should have been a sign. Despite this I proceeded to the counter to place my order. Having purchased an entertainment coupon book for a fundraiser I decided to use the bogo entree coupon for qdoba. Mentioning that was my first mistake. The individual who I later learned was the manager was nothing less than 100% immature and rude. Not my fault you manage a burrito joint honey but don't take it out on paying customers. Anyways I ordered a steak quesadilla and burrito. She throws a gigantic flour tortilla up on the counter and proceeds to ask me what I want on this thing. I'm assuming we were creating the burrito...wrong again....this was the quesadilla and I had no clue until she threw it up on the grill press. When I realized this I made a comment about thinking I was creating a burrito and she rudely looks at me rolls her eyes tells me this was the quesadilla and says she can make another if I want. Ok so she offered and I said yes remake it. I don't want beans and rice on a quesadilla. She literally took a spatula scraper thing and slings it right off the press into a trash can comes back to the counter grabs a torn tortilla and says this is the burrito. Rude b***h is what I was thinking but I was still as friendly as ever as I watched her put the bare minimum of the ingredients i asked for into this "burrito". On a side note the meat looked incredibly dry and old the queso was crusted on it's container and the general appearance was very unclean and unsanitary. So we were now done with this little baby burrito she folds it up throws some foil on it and doesn't even bother up wrap enough to cover the tortilla so part of my tortilla was touching this counter....ugh. Next we do the quesadilla and while I'm waiting for it to grill she starts building a burrito for a man who had walked in at some point behind me. Let me just say she put so much stuff in this guys burrito that she was having difficulty folding and rolling it up. He got his $9 worth....we on the other hand did not!!! The food itself is fair at best...being from south texas I know good Mexican food....this is FAR from it!!!! But more than anything I would not recommend because of the rude, immature "manager" with the blue hair. Perhaps it was because I was a female or that I had a coupon or couldn't mind read to know she was making the quesadilla first...whatever it was....was not worth it!! Save your $9 and the risk of food poisoning and avoid the crappy service. I could make better steak fajitas and queso in my sleep

Good food, good service. A touch pricey for the quantity of food, but not ridiculous.

I actually love this place but 3 stars because I feel there is something lacking, but I can't quite figure out what it is...I ordered a rice bowl full of healthy options and it was delish! I will be coming here again, by that time I should have it figured out what they're missing.

It was decent food. Their buy one get one free special was awesome, you just need to purchase a large drink with it. Service was decent, they could do a better job of advertising their special. Burrito with bacon cheese was pretty good, they have limited healthier options. Rated three stars just because the food was average, can't really expect more from them.

What a disappointment. I was expecting more from this place and after the meal I felt like had eaten a low rent Chipolte. The selection was sparse and over all not a filling meal at all. I ordered the steak taco meal, they will let me mix and match by the way, with hard shells. There really weren't a lot of condiment choices for filling those taco's compared to their contemporaries like Moe's. I had them add cheese, some sort of hot salsa that wasn't hot at all, and guacamole. The food was ok I guess, but maybe leaning toward the bland side. Nothing had any zip and was all very neutral. The taco meal I had was 3 taco's BTW and really it left me wanting more. I think a 4th taco on this meal would would be an improvement. All in all, not real impressed at all here. I'm going to go somewhere else next time I want some quick Mexican for lunch.

complete 180 from the bad experience I had before! I've ordered from here a couple times since then and haven't had a problem getting in touch with the catering manager. One time they even forgot our guacamole and the girl went all the way back to Greenbrier from Chesapeake square to get it for us. None of that oh we'll get you next time bs.

I assume this Qdoba is relatively new, since my GPS with the outdated maps can't find it. So, I am adding it to yelp now. Everyone in my family is a fan of Qdoba and have been for a long time. Of all the joints that are similar, we think Qdoba is the best. The food is always fresh, tasty and made to order. I go with the vegetarian burrito, though I am a carnivore through and through. But, the combo of beans, rice, guac, and cheese is as good as it gets. My wife and son go with tacos and those are always a hit. They have a decent kids menu that is reasonably priced and the place is always fairly clean. The staff is friendly and the service is efficient. Check it out!

I didn't like it at all. The burritos are ok I guess, nothing you would brag about or recommend. That's just my opinion.

Staff did not roll my burrito he just folded the Tortilla around the insides and squeezed it into a ball and the price was a little high. The meet was not bad but it was not Kearny Asada but not bad, the guacamole could use some fresh veggies and more Cilantro, the rice needs work but the beans were good. I must disclose I live in south San Diego County about 10 miles from Mexico.

I just want to update my review. I recently decide to try all 3 of the major burrito places within 2 weeks and compare the prices, food and service. Qdoba is definitely the best deal. They give you the most on the burrito. The rice is seasoned a little bit spicier than I would prefer, but its good. Go on Tuesdays, everything is BOGO. My husband and I went recently on a Tuesday and enjoyed only paying for one burrito! The chicken is amazing. The up charge for guac is half of the up charge at Chipotle.

I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious and they are super fast even when the line was to the door.

Staff was friendly upon entry. The food is good and is essentially "speed Mexican" or the Mexican version of Subway (kind of like Moe's and Chipotle, so pick your fave). Restrooms, tables and floors were clean.

Mexican food? There's nothing Mexican about it. I am a proud Mexican and I come from Southern California where I am surrounded by renown Mexican restaurants. This place is a wanna be chitpotle, and it's a disgrace to Mexican culture, learn how to say quèso instead of "Kay so", and Salsa VERDÈ instead of green salsa.. Because when I ordered the first time and sounded off what I wanted in proper Spanish terms I received a very unintelligent facial expression from 2 different employees and an annoying "whaaaaaat?" Moving on to the food. I'm not going to lie, it was alright, HOWEVER, the rice, the beans, (you shouldn't need to put pico de gallo) the pico de gallo, the WEAK SAUCE, all of it LACKED taste. Which only means they only care about quantity not quality. Huge mistake.

Qdoba is my preferred chain burrito destination (over Moe's and Chipotle). They have great options and the quality is really good. This particular location is great. They're always quick and friendly. If you want a little variety for your meal, make sure you try their "pick two" options.

I have eaten here numerous times and never had a bad experience. I love their 3 cheese nachos and naked burrito with pulled pork. Their portions are huge! Mondays are $5.99 meal deals with military ID- dependents, too. There is a BOGO free coupon in the paper every Tuesday. This location has beer, as well.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
