I'll start this off by saying that my boyfriend and I LOVE to go out to breakfast. We have never been here so figured we would check it out. Sadly disappointed. We both left feeling like we need to go down some pepto, the food was so greasy and low quality. We got the omelets and they weren't cooked through. The person making them was very cold and almost rude. While there was a very large selection of food, hardly any of it looked appetizing. The scrambled eggs were soggy and runny, the sausage was cold, biscuits were cold and hard. I tried the shrimp and it was gritty and tasteless. Very disappointed with the brunch but will probably try the lunch or dinner some day. After I recover from this.

The Backyard Grill was recommended by the staff at our motel and was in easy walking distance. I would like to say we were greeted by the hostess when we entered but I don't think "you want to sit inside or out" could be considered a greeting. She took us to our tabe and left without saying anything more. Our waitress promptly appeared and greeted us and took our drink order. Our waitress was very attentive and was the highlight of our visit. The food was served within about 10-minutes of ordering. Our steaks were not prepared as we ordered, I ordered mine medium well and it arrived more medium rare and the mashed potatoes were basically cold. Our salad was nothing more than a bed of lettuce with a couple of croutons scatted about. They have TV's located in view of every table and would probably be a good place to have a drink and watch a game, but the food is just not up to par. Our total bill for two people was well over $50.00 and the quality of food was no where worth that. The Backyard Grill is not a place that we will visit again.

I normally like this place for lunch or for drinks. In the summer they have a wonderful outdoor seating area. Recently, however, my husband went in for their brunch. While the brunch was delicious, I was turned off by a manager's comment. While eating, I suppose others were going up to the bar and eating up the seafood "too quickly". The manager pointed this out, in front of paying customer's by saying "I can't keep bringing this stuff out. These people are just eating it all up too fast." Well, I suppose that is what people do at a buffet and if they don't like that they shouldn't have one. While it may be true that some go to further extremes than others, I thought it was in poor taste for the manager to make comments about it in front of the other paying customers. It made me not want to go back.

Everything was okay but not so much for what you pay for as in portions of food. Burger was good but I've had better.

Got a Groupon for dinner for 2 here. It was a very slow wintry/icy Tuesday evening. Hardly anyone was in the restaurant. We got all the attention of our super nice/friendly server. The highlight of our dinner was the filet mignon, which was one of the best I've tasted. My order of a 16-oz prime rib was a chewy chunk of meat. I would consider going back, with a coupon, to give it another try though. My companion complained that the smokers at the bar, which was in another closed section of the restaurant, were bothering her with the cigarette smokes. I didn't think it was so bad. Update: My review was promptly responded by the owner. My companion was wrong about smokers at the bar, as it's not allowed to smoke at the bar. Maybe she was smelling smoke from the patio that got blown in.

Ok......went back for a 3rd time to check for consistency. Walked in the door and saw Stephanie who greeted us with a smile. Each of the previous two times we were there Stephanie would mention their flatbread pizza but I figured this isn't a pizza place so I'd never order it. Well I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I dId. I have to admit tbis pizza was bigger than I expected. Pizza to me is all about the sauce. This sauce was a bit sweet with just the right amount of spice. The flatbread was thin and crispy and the pepperoni was delicious. I told Stephanie she was 3 for 3 on her food suggestions. My only issue on this night was the appletini we ordered tasted watered down. It really had no flavor. I was shocked by this because we had ordered one before when we were here and it was flavorful and quite good. Over all it was another great night. My compliments to the manager, the cook and as always to Stephanie for her personality and her attention to detail in her job. Keep up the good work....someone out there has taken notice.

Stopped in for lunch and it wasn't overwhelmingly busy, but even though our server was nice, the service was a tad slow. I think the decor is fun and the walls are painted to look like your backyard, including cute little animals like birds and squirrels. I ended up ordering a bacon cheeseburger and it was pretty good, but the fries weren't that great. I also tried the ceaser salad and I do not recommend it. The dressing was bland and didn't really taste like anything. The bar area appeared big, but I couldn't find a list of happy hour specials at the table so I don't know if they have good deals or not. There is a nice patio, which I'm sure is great when the weather is nicer.

If you went outside yesterday you know how nice it was and you couldn't wait to get out of work and get to a HH some place. Well this is where my friends and I came ... bad move! The service was so slow and unapologetic other than "Yeah someone called off" One person calling off does not excuse slower than slow service cold food and everything coming at once ie apps coming with the main meal. The manager was nice more apologetic and took a few items off the bill which I wasn't looking for just wanted to bring it to his attention. That is the reason for 2/5 his promptness and the beers were really cold.

WAIT....FOR....IT......It's a dumpity, dump, dump, dump!! Let me just say - BE PREPARED TO WAIT because that's what you'll do here. I tried this place a couple years ago, and I was not really a fan, but I decided to give it another shot since they have a pretty large patio that seems somewhat inviting. First off, we walked to our table on the patio and had to go through many clouds of smoke. It was disgusting! I went to the restroom when we first got there and only one stall was working, and this meant I had to stand in a really long line full of obnoxious drunk, trashy women. It was horrible. It took me about 20 minutes before I was able to get back to the table. My husband still hadn't gotten his drink at that point. When I got to the table, it still took another 10 minutes before his beer even came. Based on that experience, we decided just to order some appetizers instead of a full meal. The server took our order and came back to our table two times within the next ten minutes or so to ask us what we ordered again, telling me 1) that he had not put in our order yet, and 2) he's an idiot! It again took a very long time for the food to arrive, and while we were waiting, we had the pleasure of smelling the smoke from all the tables next to us. When the food came, it was looked extremely unappealing. The tuna tasted okay, but still not very good. The crab cakes had a nice amount of crab, but it only included two pretty small ones. Overall, our trip here, to order one beer and three appetizers took one hour and 20 minutes!! This place sucks!

More like 2.5. If you are really thirsty an want some grub, this is the place for it. I went for happy hour, the girl that help me ignored me for several minutes, then mechanically recited the offerings. The vibe was kind of pathetic. I got the impression the servers are not trained. For a whole better experience check out the hotel bars close by. Food no my thing here.

Came for lunch for first time. When I opened the door I immediately smelled that familar smell of old spilt beer. I almost turned around and left. Since the hostess greeted me immediately I stayed. The dining room is unremarable except that they have a nice sound system playing 80s music. The menu was mainly burgers and sandwiched and averaged 8-9 dollars for either. I thought the prices were high for the place. I ordered a turkey burger with cheese. Service was quick and I was pleasantly surprised that both the burger and fries were tasty. The server did a good job and food was good and freshly prepared.

Literally, in MY backyard. A local watering hole. It has the distinction of being in an interesting location, like a small peninsula of backyard fun in the concrete jungle. You go here during the summer to sit out on the patio and party. They have decent food. A patio bar, several plasmas and a decent wait staff. They also have NTN trivia, the electronic kind, if you're in to that. Now and then they will have a DJ or band. Multiple food specials and the beer is ALWAYS cold!

We have eaten at this restaurant every time we are in Chantilly (which is about once every other month), and have always had good service and great food...in the dining room section. This visit we were disappointed to see that the dining room was no longer separated from the bar. This would have been okay had they left the "garage doors" that separate the patio from the bar closed, but on a Saturday evening (about 5:30), I guess everyone in the restaurant had to be subject to what was supposed to be entertainment. The food was still good (we love the Ka Pow shrimp, sirloin meals, burgers, crab cakes, red beans and rice, etc.), but that is the only positive. This new atmosphere was horrible. Now just a loud bar...with sub-par entertainment (at least this particular evening). We may still order take out for lunch...but will no longer be dining in. Please put a wall back and bring back the dining room. Then tell other people to Yelp that it is back so we know when it is safe to come back. Very sad.....

Stopped by to sit at the bar and have a cocktail an appetizer and watch some March Madness. Bar reeked soooo badly of smoke we left. Very disappointed because previous visits we found the apps decent and the bar staff friendly.

Long story short, I have been here before for dinner, had awful service. Then the manager apologized and sent me gift cards to try again, it was so so. I only came back again because there happened to be a celebration here to attend and I wanted to use the last of my gift cards. Will I be coming back? Not after what happened over the weekend. My friend had a fly in her midori sour. We saw the manager was nearby so she walked up to him to tell her about the fly and did he apologize? No. He LAUGHED at her and tried to joke by saying "The fly comes with the drink!" It could be funny but not when my friend is upset about having a bug in her drink. He went to get another drink made but instead of personally delivering it to her with an apology, he made a server bring her the drink. Not cool. He also charged her for the drink. IF the manager had been nicer about it or apologetic, I would have given him a free pass. I know bugs happen. But you do not laugh at your customers when they are upset about a fly in their drink. Wrong way to handle it buddy. I really want to like this place because I know friends who always have a great time and get decent service (even they admit service is not great) but for whatever reason, me and my one friend always get the worst service. We're not hard to please. Sorry, Backyard, we won't be returning. We've given you enough chances.

When I went tonight, I was surprise to see what I would find with the other reviews, but I have to say, I didn't have any problems, food was good and service was excellent. I didn't have to wait long before I got my meal. I sat outside and the smoke wasn't bad at all. I will be back the next time I'm in town.

While dining at backyard grill my girlfriend and two other ladies were in the women's restroom when a man shouldered his way in through the door yelling, "You bi*ches need to get the f**k out!! I'm sick of you f**king bi*ches always complaining about the bathroom!!" These women had to physically push him out of the bathroom and block the door as he continued to try and push his way in. They left the restroom to complain to the manager that someone broke into the women's restroom and verbally assaulted them only to find out that IT WAS THE MANAGER WHO BROKE INTO THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM!! Someone had earlier lost their dinner into one of the toilets and the staff was informed that there was a mess in the bathroom. ...and that's how the MANAGER handled it. By accosting female patrons who, incidentally, had nothing to do with the mess, while they were in the bathroom. The worst part is, that after my girlfirend made multiple attempts to speak with the owner, Robbie Qreitem, he finally wrote her an email saying that he "spoke to the manager and he's sorry" but he will not be taking any corrective action. The attitude towards women in this place is appalling. Take your business to Bungalow Billiards & Brew around the corner unless you enjoy being treated like trash, by trash.

Poor, poor misunderstood Backyard :/ I'm giving it a solid 3-stars cuz I can't give it 3.5...their beer selection sucks(kind of goes without saying, this IS Northern VA, afterall) and their inside seating/dining space is a bit of a joke, but the patio here kicks mucho ass. Service is great-some of the friendliest bartenders around-and the crowd is a nice mix of people generally, with the occasional asshole thrown in for good measure. One complaint that I won't lay on the establishment itself...their trivia night has to be the WORST that I've ever been to. Other than that, head straight for the patio, grab an ice-cold, flavorless malty friend, tip the bartender well and watch the freak show that is suburbia unfold...

These guys have catered for me and it is always top notch. The Sunday brunch is a MUST and the food is really good., can't miss with almost anything on the menu. The staff is also attentive and friendly every time I am there. The "Cheers" of Chantilly

This is my preferred local watering hole. Monday is Trivia Night. Thursday - Sat has a DJ w/ hip hop type music (although once I went and they tried to charge me a $5 cover on a Sat night...and I went somewhere else). Sunday is Karaoke, I think. Anyways, drinks are decent, very friendly bar tenders, and lots of regulars. Plenty of TVs to check out your sports games, and the best freakin patio ever. Summer this is the "to go" place. Winter can get pretty smokey on the patio, but I appreciate the heat lamps.

Maybe had I not seen the "Rules" posted outside of the place I wouldn't have gone in with my negative attitude. Being that I don't drink beer, their beer specials meant nothing to me, and my friend was raving about the nachos and how these were the best nachos ever. 1. I do not like chili on my nachos. You have the option for chicken, but my vote was overruled. 2. There's an Anita's across the street. The nachos didn't suck, but if that was supposed to be enough to draw me in there, methinks not. I almost hate that I wasted a trip to Chantilly and cheated on what I consider to be one of the best Tex-Mex places in the area. It seemed like a good place to come and watch a game and such, but definitely be mindful of the RULES. I shall not be returning.

I went here last Friday evening for a steak. When you walk in, the unmistakable ol' smoky bar smell hits you. You can sit in the bar area or be seated on the left side where it's more your typical restaurant. The service was good and the food was good, a little expensive for a steak. I ordered the steamed vegetables but they were drowned in enough butter to make you think they were sauteed instead. I would consider going back but wouldn't be my first choice for a date, or even a steak. I would actually choose Jackson's in Reston first.

I come here mainly during the warmer months, and usually at night, never had any issues, I'm primarily my friends designated driver, getting drunk off of water (and I do) but every now and then I get to relax and have a drink or two. the patio is the designated smoking area. so obviously its going to be a little smokier than some places and not really bad. spring summer and into fall are the best times to go, after that (in winter) they pull the walls down and it becomes stuffy and harder to move around. usually good music, but it depends on the DJ. but if you like loud music. awesome people, goodish food (I mainly eat the cheese fries) and a great night and time, then this is the place for you.

Never again. Order wrong twice. Waited 30+ minutes for a Ruben with pastrami on rye with no mayo add mustard. 1st on came out with mayo. 2nd one came out with the same cold onion rings from the 1st one with pastrami only and no corned beef. Ended up at Santinis Deli, better and cheaper.

If I could give negatives stars, I would. Actually, one star is appropriate -- the grits were good. Everything else ranged from mediocre to horrible. A friend and I went for the Sunday brunch, on the recommendation of a friend. So much for recommendations. To start with, the young lady who was our server clearly did not want to be working today. Between eye rolls, sighs and an expression that said "you are interrupting my day", the service was bad at best, and atrocious at worst. We practically had to beg for refills on our drinks, and getting hot sauce and catchup was a major undertaking. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. The biscuits could have been used as hockey pucks. The gravy was runny and tasteless. The corned-beef hash wasn't bad, but I suspect it had been heated from a can. The grits with cheese were quite good. The meat at the carving station was so overdone that it looks like someone ordered it well-done and it was thrown into a frymaster. The country potatoes were okay, but not great. All-in-all, it was definitely not worth the price. We will not be back.

  • Vanessa P.

Oh come on guys, Backyard isn't *that* bad. This place is good for late nights-- it's never too terribly busy and they normally serve til at least 1.30a. There is also ALWAYS a place to sit (most of the times right at the bar!!). Sure the place could use a face lift... the decor and overall look is worn down and the tables in the bar area are a little cramped... but otherwise, it's a chill spot.

  • Michelle B.

Wow...all these other reviews are quite- interesting. Let me first start off by saying that I have only had Backyard's food delivered, I've never set foot in the restaurant. From the sound of it, I may never want to. We received this menu in the mail one day and were impressed with the menu- my husband is anti fast food & pizza and they offered things such as salmon with shrimp and lemon sauce and tilapia. Most of the time we've ordered the food was outstanding. My parents and inlaws love the seafood meals, I love their wraps, and my husband loves everything, lol. Their citrus vinagrette dressing is delish, and you can add a huge side salad to your meal for a mere $3. Not bad for "to go" food. Their menu is a little pricier than I'd like, but definitely worth it to have a good meal without stepping food out of the house or in the kitchen.

  • Peter M.

Well, I guess it's just an easy coast chain or something, but I was mildly unimpressed. The portions were small for the price, especially coming in at ~ $14 bucks a plate for lunch. I had a tasty steak pasta creation, my gal grabbed $8 bucks worth of Buffalo chicken fingers, and her mom had the stuffed shrimp for $19 bucks. If it were half this, I would be a fan, but at current pricing, your money could be much better spent at a nicer restaurant. All in all, it was $75 with tip for three of us to eat an 'ok' lunch. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten my lunch on for that at Red Lobster. Oh well.

7/2/13 - Two friends and I went to Backyard for dinner last Friday night. There was a decent crowd at Backyard, but less than we expected (probably because it had been stormy all afternoon and was still very overcast). We chose Backyard primarily because of the location and the outdoor seating. The patio there is a great place to relax, chat, and enjoy happy hour. We were all pleased with our orders, which ranged from fish tacos and salads to chicken sandwiches. Everything tasted great, except the chicken on the salad. The fries were particularly delicious. Our server made a great recommendation of one of the shrimp appetizers, and we really enjoyed that as well. The service throughout the whole evening was very good, although a bit slow to bring the check once we had finished dinner. The one aspect of the experience that bothered us slightly was the smoky air from the neighboring tables. It seems to be unavoidable, but if the restaurant could somehow divide the patio/awning areas into smoking and non-smoking sections, that would really enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a fun place to get a good meal and unwind at the end of the week. We will probably return another time.

Food was good if not above average for a place of this type. The patio is great on a nice day. Our server Corey was one of the best I've seen anywhere. Although there were definitely some sketchy folk hanging around the bar on a Sunday afternoon, they seemed pretty harmless. Four stars based on service and a great chicken sandwich.

  • Sogol G.

I went there for lunch with my husband and sister. (three sandwiches + one drink = $26) Service was great. Food was great. Price was reasonable. However, the best part was the walls!!!! They have a unique and artistic interior design of the walls. I really enjoyed it. Also bar and dining area are separate and both are equally nice.

Food: Prime Rib was great, London broil was great, Gorgonzola burger was good, Ribs were ok, Tilapia was ok stellar. Shrimp was dead on arrival over cooked , first potato was cold and he second was hairy. Not a great experience. Booze and company was the only good thing about this visit.

  • Willy L.

Place sucks, service sucks, food sucks. But if you want a place in the summer with a big deck and battle all the douche bags then you have found your spot. If there is one silver lining to the place, the bartenders are pretty friendly.

    (1)
  • Michelle P.

This is not a place to go anymore if you want a nice quiet dinner. They re-did the restaraunt a few years ago to accomadte the bar crowd more. It is a good place to go have some drinks and maybe some dancing. The music the DJ plays is regularly HipHop but not always dancer friendly, sometimes it's simply rap. They play it pretty loud and it makes conversation difficult (I know, if it's too loud, you're too old. But I still would like to talk to my friends with out screaming). The food is good though, but I can say I've mainly eaten from the appetizer section. I actually worked here for a few months back in 2003 and it used to be known for it's food. Though I don't think the menu or recipes have changed I think the fact that the targeted crowd is now the bar crowd the food is just no longer the focus. The owner isn't always friendly, the female bartenders aren't either unless I'm there with a friend that is a regular. But the two guys that work the patio bar most weekends are always nice and make good drinks. Prices are pretty good. Not horrible but not great either.

We have three family there last night. The Manager tells us to be able to use the Voucher individually, each family has to sit at a different table. The manager is acting like a cop by asking us to show our vouchers. His tone of voice was racist and sounded like he did not want our business. It was embarrassing. Unfortunately, he ruined my daughter's birthday dinner. We had to go somewhere else for dinner last night. I would like a refund, please.

My flight got in late and I was jonesin' bad for a good burger and a cold beer. And the concierge was stumped at my hotel, so I went out to search on my own, at which point, I stumbled across this place. The "Backyard" part of the restaurant name is what sealed the deal for me to check it out. The burger I had here was fantastic. Simply awesome. The fries were okay, and the salad was sub par, but the burger was worth the visit. I must have had a brand new waitress, because she kept getting my beer orders wrong and couldn't keep my order in her head, despite the fact I was the only one in here (in the dining room) that evening. And I waited and waited because she never seemed to be there when I needed her... The bar was full of drunken patrons watching the series playoffs and it was hopping to say the least. Drunk people make for good people watching!

I usually only make it to Backyard when my bar nearby closes early and I have just enough time to make it for a couple drinks before last call. The staff is great and the drinks are decently priced. I like going in the summertime when the outside portion is open although that's when it gets a lot more packed. I've never tried the food at the Chantilly location, but was NOT impressed with the food at the Manassas one. I think what I like best about backyard is the trivia games they have. I used to see them all the time, but not so much anymore!

I have eaten here a few times now, which was never my choice. Their food is below average and it always smells like there was a huge beer party the night before and no one bothered to clean up. It is dark and dirty and the walls and decor is worn. The wait staff is terrible and the last time (last time I will ever go there) I was there it was as if the waiter was trying to pick my girlfriend up. I don't think so, chief. My dish once came out cold and the manager seemed as if he couldn't care less. Brunch on Sundays is incredibly overpriced and NOT appetizing, the food is always cold and the guy who makes the omelets and carves the meat is unfriendly. If you want to go here and get blasted it might be a good spot, but not to take your family out to eat. Choose one of the many other places in the area.

I went here for lunch and really liked this place. I was expecting a smokey dive bar, but it was not that at all - it was actually really nice inside and had a cool atmosphere. I ordered a chicken sandwich and french fries - very basic - but it was really good. They offer your typical bar food menu, but they also offer some other surprise dishes. The restaurant appeared very clean, service was excellent and I was in and out for lunch with no hang ups or hassles. I highly recommend this place for lunch or happy hour!

I been going here for years, from before the remolding and after and from regular hh nite to weekend party nights. always a great time. I run a local motorcycle club around here n this owner is always down for charities n to give back to communities. I have read some of other peoples comments, it seems u are expecting this place to be Jackson s in Reston or clydes!! there are smoking section n non smoking sections, also if u can't afford $5 cover charge on a saturday night maybe u shouldn't be out on a Saturday, in fact look for a new job during ur weekend., go rent a movie at ur local redbox instead. service sometimes do get crazy, well BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY, and it's a busy place when summer time comes. it is what it is!!! be patient and enjoy urself. I hate places that are too flashy and charge $6 dollars beer, how u sleep at nite. anyways this is just my 2cent. comment back if u don't like what I said, more spaces for friends and I to be at.

A friend and I came here for Sunday brunch to check the place out. After reading previous reviews, I have confirmed that service needs improvement. The service we received was not bad, but the server could have been more attentive to refilling the water glasses and coffee cups. I don't know how much they are paying the college aged wait staff but many of them didn't seem too enthusiastic. The drink refill lady that wanders around Chik Fil A is what I call enthusiastic. The brunch was not bad and not great. If it wasn't for the oysters, the brunch would not have been that memorable. In the future, I'll just save my appetite for the soon to be opened Hibachi Grill near KMart.

I can only give my impression because I was only able to stay inside for 3 or 4 minutes. My friends and I wanted to meet for drinks after work and I was the first one to arrive. Wanted to see if there was a wait for the patio. When I walked in, the cloud of smoke was so thick and disgusting my lungs almost collapsed; even with the place opened up to the patio. I could never eat in here. After a short wait at the door I turned around and called my friends immediately. All I can picture is a huge room and bar with 40 people in a row smoking cigarettes. YUCK!

I was in the ladies restroom on Monday May 9th, 2011. Another female patron complained to the manager about a toilet that was a clogged mess. Moments later, a man flung open the door of the ladies room, yelling that we need to get the F*ck out of the bathroom, and that he is sick of F*cking bitches always complaining about the bathroom. One of the other two women in the bathroom had to physically struggle with the man to close him out of the bathroom and I helped her hold the door shut. I was horrified to learn that the man was the manager on duty!! I complained to the owner, Mr. Robbie Qreitem, who declined to take any appropriate action. I have an email to prove that the man admitted his behavior to the owner, and that the extent of the owner's response was to say that he is sorry and it will never happen again. I don't own a restaurant, but I'm pretty sure that the verbal assault of female patrons in the ladies bathroom is NOT a second-chance kind of offense.

on two different occasions i ordered food and got something different. the second time, the waitress (christin) didn't come back for at least 20 min. on both occasions they charged me for my food and didn't even acknowledge that they messed up. worst customer service ever. and now they are charging a cover on weekends?? for what? my friend plays guitar up there every once and a while and not even him playing there will get me to go up there anymore. cant say enough bad things about this place and will be sure to spread the word to everyone i know.

Went on a tues evening and the bar wasn't busy but very casual and the staff especially "tracy" made the sub par food worth coming back. she was a very attractive girl and genuinely a very positve and upbeat person. The problem with the bar is that when i find a bartender who can take my shit, give it back and has a personality, i will frequent them. Prices were a lil steep but I am always willing to pay for premium alcohol. after talking to tracy she told me that she was the newest bartender and only worked one day a week because the ownership didnt have shift for her until the patio opens. stupid move. Id be there alot more if she had more than one shift. overall the food was okay, service on tues was awesome, crowd was good for a tues.

**bar review only** Oh Backyard Grill, please don't ever change. I used to come here for happy hour at least once a week when I worked at the airport bc it was on my way home. As such, I was excited to see it was still around when I was in the area this weekend. Turns out it was everything I remembered. Sure, it's a little bit of a dive; but they have a fun patio, nice staff and generally good (albeit loud) music at night. That's exactly what I was in the mood for at the time, so I had a blast! I can't speak to the food or the inside bar, but the outside bar is A-OK with me.

The service on our last visit was great! Our bartender was on the ball and she was able to help us out. But a WARNING to everyone who comes here for the CRISPY WINGS. Management is phasing them OUT. You can only get them on the sampler platter for some reason associated with cost. But since it just started, our bartender was able to get us a plate as our last hurrah. But the sole reason for coming here is being erased from the menu.

IF I COULD VOTE ZERO STARS I WOULD AND HERE IS WHY. I went to this place for an out of town trip. The place was built well and had a nice layout. I was short on money and was only able to tip $4 cash on a $40 credit card tab. I wrote on the receipt how great the service was and felt bad I couldn't leave anything more for the bar tender. Moments later another female bartender came up to me and laid my signed Receipt on the bar and asked me if this 'was a joke sir' I told her unfortunately not, this was my budget constraint. She then berated me in front of other patrons in an attempt to embarrass me. I spoke to a manager about this where he offered me a free $3 shot for my embarrassment. I told him I would like my receipt voided where he then told me to contact a lawyer. Extended Story: I had called back and let the manager on duty know that due to level of scrutiny i was susceptible to that I will be contesting the bank charges. He told me that's fine. I asked to have this issue escalated to the owner, i was told this was not possible. I asked him does this mean it's fine for their employees to alienate their customers, he told me to take it out with my bank.

This place is a little dumpy but a good time. Most recently, I tried to come here with my friends and we were turned away because my male friend was wearing a Zara tank top and the bar has a "no tank" policy. Even with a low cut, tank dress, they would have let me in. This kind of restriction is a poor attempt to limit the customer base instead of addressing behavior, and in this day and age, I think we should all call it out for being discriminatory. I'll never come here again.

I love this place, they have excellent food choices in the menu. Great deals during football season, great and wonderful staff and bartenders. The blonde bartender, I believe her name is Rhi. .. she's always welcomed me with a smile, always taken good care of me whenever I dine. Djs on the weekends, and great bands playing inside of the bar.

Food was good service was decent. We went for lunch and kept it super simple (K.I.S.S) because we were from out of town looking for a quick bite, nothing too complicated. The wings were good the burgers were decent. The place looks like it gets pretty rowdy at night (graffiti in the bathroom, some punch marks, a busted T.V.) but the beer is cold and food is decent so giv'em a try.

Great place for happy hour and watching games. HUGE outside patio, plenty of room. Lots of big screen TVs $2 domestic bottles and $6 appetizers.... Tasty too Just make sure if you're sitting at a table you'll have to wave the staff over if u need something. Also guac with the nachos is an extra $1.50

We have ordered delivery from Backyard three times. Each time hoping the item we ordered would be better than the last. I have to say that the food is awful. I was excited to get a Monte Cristo sandwich and when it got here it was soggy French toast with ham , turkey and cheese. Ummmmm. A Monte Cristo is deep fried always. Name it something else. Sorry for the bad review , but that's my honest opinion.

Asked for no side, got fries anyways. Asked for no bun, got no bun. Also no tomato or pickle. Did get a single heat-wilted piece of lettuce thrown in. Burger was good though.

This place can be a hit but usually its a miss. I have been here a couple times for dinner and its been just okay, nothing special. So I knew they had Sunday brunch and wanted to try it. Adults pay $14.95 and kids pay $8.95 which isn't a bad deal at all. They have options such as fish, rice, roasted veggies, breakfast meats, roast beef, made to order omelettes, belgian waffles, raw seafood bar, eggs benedict and some other assortments. What I liked most was bacon of course, biscuits and sausage gravy wasn't too bad, homestyle potatoes and maple sausage. Everything was quite bland, had to add some salt and pepper to most. Even the orange juice was too sour, I'm guessing they make it homemade? Because once an employee saw me make a "sour" face after drinking the OJ he told me he was going to tell them to make another one. The next one was a little sweeter but definitely not as sour. Summer is a good place to go for HH since its nice outside and they open the patio. But other than that, food is okay, service was a bit slow. I wanted to leave but I couldn't find the waiter until 10 minutes later. No idea what he was doing since he only had 2 tables. Don't waste your money here unless you're just coming for drinks but not sure how good they are with that either.

Excellent spot for happy hour. Good drink and food specials. While the majority of the bar/wait staff are wonderful, there's one or two that can be rough and rude. If you need to charge your pjone, sit at the bar where there are two outlets by every stool. Very convenient!

Lost me as a customer when I walk into an outdoor patio filled with cigarette smoke and am told cigars have to go sit in the corner by themselves isolated from everyone. It's policy. Even though the customers at the bar were fine with it. Won't be back for anything. Way to go with that policy!

Yeah like most comments, this place, while nice atmosphere, misses the mark completely on service. The food was excellent, but the less than stellar service, took the rating down significantly. We waited at a table top for 10-15 mins while the servers just passed us by, like we were ghosts. So we moved to the bar. We had to wave down our bartender, who was a very nice guy but again we flag him. The manager looked like miserable, never cracked a smile or asked any patron how they were doing. Just an unfortunate environment bc the food was actually really good.

This place is a bad joke. I was aggressively kicked out by a blond bartender who is "acting manager" from time to time, aka shift lead. This woman is absolutely unprofessional. She kicked me out because I bumped into a bar stool and it fell, chased me to the door, and tried to act like she wanted to fight. Pure comedy. She clearly had a bone to pick with me because in my 6 years patronizing this bar I've never seen them kick anyone out, nor have I seen them have an issue with people fighting inside as well as right outside the bar. News flash, Backyard is not the only restaurant around the area. There's Bungalows (which is just as awful in my opinion), Blue Iguana (drink specials all night long, great music, always a number of people having fun, A MUST GO), Revolution (former Fast Eddies, great specials varying on night, .39 wings on Weds, $9 craft beer pitchers Thu), Red Rocks, Velocity 5, Primetime, Texas Roadhouse (bar has great specials), Bob O's (amazing happy hour), Hooters (pitcher specials), Breakers (good happy hour including $1 beers until 9), Ned Devine's, Sully's, Alf Lalyah (hookah lounge right next door), Auld Shebeens (Thu nights), Buffalo Wing University (Tue and Thu are great here), Hard Times, Red Zone, The Green Turtle and just about anywhere in Reston or even DC if you're feeling adventurous. The only thing I'm losing from no longer patronizing the poorly filtered smoky patio is increasing my risk of cancer from the second hand smoke. They don't have any good drink specials, they've increased their food specials. Oh, and did I mention the roaches I saw walking around on their patio bar? Save yourself some time and poor service and look elsewhere.

I don't normally write a review, but the bar staff we had last night really impressed me. Our bartender her name was Rhi was so friendly and attentive made two out of towners feel like family. She suggested drinks that fit our tastes perfectly and behaved with flawless professionalism when she had to deal with an extremely obnoxious patron. If it had been me, I would have hit the guy, but she maintained a calm and considerate manner. Its not often you see a young person with that level of professional demeanor. I will be back next time I'm in town, and have recommended this place to my local friends. Thanks for a great experience Rhi!

Now that Ned Devine's got rid of Buzztime trivia, the choices for Reston-ites addicted to network trivia (not to be confused with live trivia) like myself are: Buffalo Wild Wings (near Ashburn off route 28) - like playing in a bright cafeteria, but the wings are usually good and they have a steady steam of players. Mighty Mike's (old part of Sterling): Somehow got an exemption from the anti smoking law in Virginia. No gracias. I used to visit Backyard Grill in the late 90s when I lived in Chantilly, and the place was called something else (Back Porch, I think?) As others have stated, it's a big place that is dominated by two bars - one smoking (separate ventilation system, which is VA law - again, how did Mighty Mike's bypass that?), and one non smoking, where the Buzztime game is. The food is better than Ned Devine's in my opinion, and the prices during football games are great ($6 for a cheeseburger; $5 for potato skins). The beer selection is decent, although too many taps of craft and no bottles or cans of craft. That should be fixed. The bar tenders are not especially friendly - mainly because they're so busy. But they get the job done. All in all, a good place to spend a few hours during the cold months.

We went on an afternoon to catch the hockey game playoffs. I love the open air patio and they are definitely a sports focused spot. They have typical bar fare and the hamburger and Reuben sandwiches we ordered were good. They have a nice selection of beers and offer a full bar. Our waitresses (we had two for some reason) were OK. Pretty typical sports bar servers that are tired of slaving over tables then getting stiffed on tips. As the evening wore on the clientele shifted from sports to night life focused and that is when we left. Overall, this is a great place to catch a game or a fight when the patio is open. I'm not sure I would enjoy this place if not for the patio. It's OK.

I usually feel mean writing negative reviews so this is my first time but there's no way I could let others fall victim to this place. I got the chicken tenders, fries, and mashed potatoes and they made McDonald's seem gourmet. The mashed potatoes were cold and actually looked gray. The fries looks too repulsive to even taste one. And the chicken tenders were the worst I've ever had. I got delivery so I don't know how the service is and I don't mean to jeopardize business and jobs but I highly recommend them working on their quality.

A great place to meet friends co workers, family. Located at the end of a strip mall in Chantilly VA, Backyard has one of the nicest patios in northern VA. It is well kept with trees for natural shade and ambiance. 2 awesome bars, great bar tenders and staff. Just recently went under some remodeling, which included adding more TVs and a 360 degree bar inside. This really opened things up. Great wings, (I recommend the crispy wings) If you are in the mood for a steak or burger they have some great choices. Catering also available for your large party etc. Nightlife: Something always going on at night. Monday : Monday Night Football Tuesday: Bar pong with Live DJ Wed: Poker night, Thursday thru Saturday is Live DJ, Sometimes a band on Saturdays or FREE UFC. Sunday Funday: , Plenty of HDTV to watch our favorite team. Outdoor bar is always busy so get there early for football and friends :) I will be a regular at one the coolest bars in town.

Went to back yard bar and grill for a nice afternoon with live band and drinks. The food was mediocre bar food reasonably priced. After we ate we were asked to hurry and leave because we were at an "unmarked" reserve table. The server was pleasant and attentive but it was clear she was annoyed by the manager asking her to make us leave. Later saw the server asking to allow us to finish our drinks. Was sure to call the group we were meeting up with at Backyard and tell them that we will be meeting at another bar. A bar that doesn't make tables reserved after we have been sitting at them for over 45 mins.

Met some friends here on a recent Sat. night because we wanted to see the band that was playing. Because a "Final Four" game was on, the tables on what is usually the dance floor were not moved out (as they normally do for the band and dance floor), and customers were allowed to stay there and watch the game. The band was moved outside to the bar, which is enclosed - and smoky - even though it opens to the outdoor patio. (It was cold so sitting outdoors was not an option.) Several in our party were very disappointed that we had to tolerate smoke in order to see and dance to the band, but tolerate it we did, because we love this band and enjoy dancing with our friends. Never again, though. Apparently your TV-watching customers are more important than your live talent and the customers who come to see them. Smoke is not good for the singers' voices, nor for any of us who choose to be smoke-free. I hope the management will make better choices in the future. Even if this was a one-time exception, it was a bad decision, as it will affect our group's return. As far as the service is concerned, our server, Jay, was great. He was attentive, polite and took good care of us! I can't speak to the food; since the reviews were not great, we had dinner somewhere else.

Located next to CVS, Backyard Grill stays open the latest on the weekend compared to other bars in the area. Which is the ONLY reason I come here, I promise. I have found that the later you visit Backyard Grill, the better. It's always fun to see drunk girls dancing and flirting with men. Drunk girls humiliating themselves in public is my idea of a good time. On Saturday nights, they have a live band and a DJ. The DJ tends to get more patrons but I actually enjoyed listening to the live band as I made my journey to the restroom. I have always known the drinks to be decent in taste and price. As for the food, it's a bar. Nothing to write home about. But if you are trying to soak up the alcohol, I would go for the chicken wings.

Sunday brunch for $14.95 is a good deal. This includes a carving station with roast beef and Virginia ham aside from the usual brunch items of pancakes, bacon , corned beef hash, sausages etc. The roast beef is cooked to perfection with a rosemary and thyme herb crust. It is served being dipped in au jous prior to being served. The raw bar is not to be missed.

Avoid on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights when there is a "DJ" and "dancing." I still can't get the images out of my head. I think I watched all the characters on stage at a Jerry Springer show suddenly get up and start grinding on each other. When a couple of loner 55-60 year-old white guys creepily tried to get in on a booty-dance "sandwich" set to gangsta rap music, I just had to pull out the camera phone. Naturally. It was dark and the few pictures turned out crappy, so I put the phone away. Suddenly, a random girl came angrily over to our table and copped an attitude with me, saying she was going to kick me out for taking videos of HER to put up on YouTube. I said I was not and asked her if she worked there. She went off in a huff to a bouncer/manager, who came over and told us to not take any more videos or pictures; however, because of the lack of signs, they sure as hell weren't deleting what I had already taken. I also looked around and made sure I wasn't a) in a strip club, or b) back in eastern Europe at some sketchy club with angry Russian bouncers and a "FACE CONTROL" sign on the door. Nope, still a sports bar in Chantilly. Moral of the story: if you're going to be ashamed of something, DON'T do it. Not only was the girl ashamed of herself, but so are the people running the place. They obviously don't want word getting out what it's really like on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights (their feature nights, by the way, on their website) so that you too are duped into checking out the place. And now they are trying to get my uploaded photos removed, saying that they do not "broadly represent the business." Uhhh. Right.

I've been to Backyard more times than I can count. Here's what you should expect out of Backyard... a great (and sloppy) time out with friends. Backyard's outdoor area is huge, they usually have a DJ Saturday nights (even if it isn't always the best DJ - it makes for a good time dancing), and they have pretty good nachos (for drunk food). The bathrooms are fairly clean for as many drunkies they get in any given evening as well. For single people, its a decent bar to mingle around in. I wouldn't suggest this place for like, an actual meal or an outing with co-workers. As long as you go not expecting fancy & just looking to have a good night out, the rest should follow suit. Enjoy!

I've had a couple of lunches here. The steak salad is very good, the cobb salad with chicken was not. The time we ordered the appetizers, the apps arrived with the main course. Oddly (they weren't crowded), paying our check took a really long time, too.

I was pleasantly surprised by the brunch here. $24.95 for a champagne brunch buffet. It included 2 glasses of champagne/mimosas, and a very large, varietal buffet. The food was good too, great scrambled eggs that they keep refilling. Awesome grits. Shrimp, pancakes and French toast, an omelet station, roast beef station, and waffle station. That's not even all of it. They had a full BBQ spread as well. Without the champagne it was only $20 a person, totally reasonable. To top it off, we sat outside on the patio and it was lovely. They open up the whole restaurant and have tables with umbrellas. Very impressed for a place that is technically a local watering hole and busy bar at night. I would definitely go back.

It's... okay? Not great, not bad, just okay. Problem is, you don't want a restaurant to just be "okay". You want it to be great. Really good. The Backyard Grill is not that place. I've been here a few times with coworkers, and each time I've left disappointed. The Reuben? Tastes great, but the soggy bread accompanied with squishy fries is just missing the mark. It tastes great, but you don't want your food to feel sloppy. Ahi tuna salad? Chewy, fatty and ridiculously expensive ($16) for the value. The burgers are pretty tasty if not a bit dry. The Backyard Grill is bar food, bar food that tries to be more than it is, fancier than it should be and it doesn't achieve its goal. Food, I am disappoint. I want you to be delicious and tasty, but you leave me wanting. Add in mediocre wait service and it's just not hitting high points. I think they could be a 3 if they paid attention to service. It's not BAD, but the service really just takes away from the experience.

It takes a special talent to make a classic martini undrinkable, but they manage. Then they mix a foul mango martini to truly distinguish themselves. After that, I was scared to order food, especially since I noticed only one person in the entire place eating. The trivia is fun, so it earns one star instead of zero.

I have been here exactly two times; once for dinner with a large group of friends and for a happy hour. Dinner with Friends: I don't recall the dinner or service being horrible or conversely anything over the top. While I wouldn't go here willingly because I think there are better options in the surrounding area, I also wouldn't not go here if someone wanted to eat here. Service and food was fine, no complaints but also nothing to get overly excited over. Happy Hour: Went here on a Thursday recent for a Happy Hour and it was quite crowded so seems like a good place for a Happy Hour as an alternative to Reston Town Center or Fairfax Corner.

I went to Backyard Grill last night to see my friend's parents band play. As soon as I walked up to the front door a bouncer hopped out the side bar (patio) and carded me. I walked in and circled the bar in the restaurant section. All the seats were taken, so I squeezed in between some people and ordered a cosmo. It was well made, not too strong or weak. A seat opened up a few chairs down so I took a seat while I waited for my friend to text me back where exactly she was. I sat by the door facing the stage (pretty far back). I couldn't see that much, but remained there and examined the crowd. It was an older crowd. There may have been a few people in their 20s and 30s there, but not many. I eventually found my friend who had a booth. She had a ceasar salad that smelled good and looked fresh, but I did not try it. Their waiter also seemed a little inattentive and had difficulty putting in the 20% discount they got from downloading the app. My friends left and I went to the side bar (smoking area), which was guarded and heated (big plus)! There was also a dj playing in this patio area. He was playing some pretty old club jams, which I thought was weird. One drunk woman was dancing. I sat at the bar and ordered a water (I had to drive) and the bartender rolled her eyes. Also, the bartender was a little GROSS. She was digging in her mouth with her fingers and then proceeded making my water with her hand (unwashed). She grabbed a glass with the hand she didn't use to dig in her mouth and grabbed the drink dispenser with the hand she had in her mouth. Then peeled off my straw entirely with both hands. She put the water down in front of me (no napkin or coaster) and walked away. I didn't touch the water, finished my cigarette, and left. There was nothing rememberable about this place. I have no remarks concerning food besides it looked good and the male bartender made a decent drink. However, the girl on the patio needs an attitude check and sanitation information.

Meh! We bought a Living Social deal for this restaurant. It wasn't what we were expecting. When we walked in it immediately smelled of smoke. Is that even legal? We continued to smell it the whole time. What appeared to be the manager visited the tables around us but not ours. We also had such a hard time hearing our waiter. It was so loud in there because of the music and people. I left a thumbs down when Living Social asked how it was. I didn't think anything of it; I was just giving an honest response to the question. I got a snippy message back instead of asking why I gave it or how they could make it better they got defensive. They should of realized that running the deal was a good way to new customers and hope to get them to come back. They definitely didn't show that they understood that concept. Their customer service could definitely improve. The food was ok except the fries were way too salty. We could go get better food and service at a better price elsewhere.

I give this place a one star cause there is nothing lower. The atmosphere is ok but the bar service sucked badly. If you ask for a top shelve drink they use we'll alcohol and charge you do top shelve. And do dare question the bartender specially if she is young. You will get the attitude of a two year old and of course her fellow coworkers will make excuses for her and if you ask for the manager he will disappear and is never to be found. If you like being aggravated and insulted this is the place to go. If that not you, avoid this joint like the plague.

So, hadn't been to this place in 10+ years, but finally made it back. Our group of 4 arrived after lunch hour before a flight back home. We were quickly seated and got our drinks food order going. They used multiple servers to help us out, and overall it worked smoothly. There was some confusion with drinks, but not a big deal. Food was solid. Standard bar food, nothing to write home about. Bottom line, everyone was pleased with their food. Two had burgers, two had pasta. One order of wings was had and enjoyed. Tried the french onion soup and it was a standard offering. Overall, decent place to eat. Seems like a sports bar trying to be something else, but not sure what that is. Regardless, with proper expectations, you will enjoy your visit here.

Mediocre food at a high price isn't a selling point for me. Despite that, I've given Backyard Grill more chances than it really deserves to impress me. Why? Because I really want to love their Sunday brunch buffet - But, I just can't. The food is subpar at best; some of it is just plain awful. The scrambled eggs always have a ton of liquid in them from sitting untouched too long, the biscuits are hard, the pancakes/waffles are very dried out and starchy, and the omelets produced on the omelet station are just awful. I'm not sure what kind of eggs they use for them, but they are so disgusting in taste. They can't be fresh eggs. Service is hit or miss - Though usually miss. Getting drinks refilled is a challenge unto itself. They are also pretty lax when it comes to clearing plates, or asking in general how everything is. Don't bother asking for things such as ketchup or hot sauce, because if they do ever get around to bringing it, you'll get a teeny tiny black plastic cup of it. They can't even bother to bring the bottle? Despite these very huge cons, there are some highlights to be had on the brunch buffet - The shrimp cocktail is always pretty fresh and tasty, though we have had an instance where they were overcooked, and the cocktail sauce is always very spicy. The sausage gravy is pretty good, and certainly helps to soften up their meteorite bricks - Also known as their biscuits, and their eggs Benedict while not the best is edible. The potatoes are good when they are cooked all the way through, but sadly they usually aren't. I really love breakfast foods, and even more so, I really love buffets, but at $20.00 per head, Backyard Grill just doesn't do it for me. There are too many cons in my book which just don't make the pros worth the price of admission. I've also been for lunch a couple times and tried their sandwiches. The Reuben and Club are okay, but very high priced for what you get. Personally if I was going to pay a premium for a sandwich, I'd rather just go to a deli and get a "real" sandwich, which is larger, fresher, and tastier, and roughly the same price. Backyard Grill has seen the last of my hard earned money.

I'm done here. I went to backyard grill a few months ago I had burgers and wings. The burgers and wings I had were decent... not too bad, but the service was horrible. Which i can't understand because it wasn't even busy. I went there today... I tried the prime rib not worth it. Outback has better... sweet water as well. The baked potato you can tell had been sitting all day the taste and consistency let u know it was either cooked early that day or the day before and was sitting in a warmer. A friend ordered steak with sauteed mushroom (mushroom never came... and when he asked the waitress she took forever bringing it out... and it came when he was almost done eating. Another asked for salad with dressing on the side. The waitress brings it out and says "I put the order in for dressing on the side but they put the dressing on anyways." Uh... I could not understand why she even brought it out instead of bringing out the correct order. Fries came out soggy and not even crispy. Why is it that this time as well there was barely anyone inside (except for at the bar) and the service still failed. There really are better places to go get food if you go here to drink and are wasted then the food doesn't really matter, but if you want an actual meal go anywhere else.

Possibly the rudest most and uncaring staff i've seen in years. On my second try at this place (I dont critic after only only one visit) I was greated by an elbow tattooed attitude in tight shorts. She was too busy to make simple eye contact. I got a "gimme a minute" and "what do you think" responce to two questions I asked her. Skip this place unless you want.to be treated poorly while paying for over priced food and beer.

I had the hot roast beef, open faced sandwich. It was passable. Gravy on it could have been thicker and more flavorable, but it wasn't bad. Service was good, perhaps because I had Yelp up on my cell phone reading the reviews of the place. All in all, no complaints and I'd come here again, but perhaps heed the warnings about the dance nights. ....

Food was really good, portions were generous, service was painfully slow. There was absolutely no reason for how long it took to have anyone come up to our table. The patio area had maybe 6 tables and at least 3 servers taking care of the area. No one was getting quick service. The inside was dead... the servers were all just chatting up by the bar area.

I was in Chantilly on business and Backyard Grill was across the street from my hotel. It was Monday night during football season and I was both hungry and thirsty. I didn't think I could go wrong at a sports bar ...and I didn't at Backyard. The patio is amazing. It is huge and has two bars and a bunch of flat screens. I didn't experience the "stale beer" smell that one of the reviewers mentioned but, I can see how it is possible. The crowd was a mix of young professionals and football fans and everyone got along. I sat at the bar. The bartender was excellent. She remembered my name and kept my beer glass full. The beer selection is mediocre. Sam Adams seasonal was about the best thing going. I had the Backyard Burger. A burger topped with bacon, BBQ, mushrooms & provolone cheese Served on ciabatta bread. It was cooked medium rare and pretty tasty. It came with onion rings, which, if not home made, were excellent none the less. I'll definitely come again.

The interior of Backyard has changed a lot since the last time I was there, I guess it's been a long time. The outdoor patio is covered and heated and they have a dining room separate from the bar area. In the past I've been there during the day for food and at night for the bar scene. I remember the food being typical bar stuff, and the crowds at night a giant CF. I had an hour to kill while I waited for my car to be serviced and I thought a bite at Backyard was over due. I sat at a cocktail table, the bar was particularly full for noon on a Thursday. Turns out they get a lot of daily regulars, "where everybody knows your naaaaame". There was also a steady stream of lunch crowd types heading to the dining room. Burgers on brioche was all i needed to see to make my decision. I got the BYG gourmet burger which also came with cheese, saute onions, and their special sauce. The lettuce and tomato on the burger were fresh and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The burger itself was quite enjoyable, very juicy. Not listed in the burger description is that the burger is made with two patties, a perfect way to sneak an extra slice of cheese in there. Any time i'm getting my car serviced in the area I'd be happy to return for this burger. They have NTN which is also a plus.

Backyard grill is a favorite stop - outstanding chicken wings and friendly service. Great for after-work get togethers, this easy to visit location offers plenty for the non-drinkers as well in the way of tasty appetizers. I've never been here for their main fare, so look elsewhere for info on that. Their chicken wings are uniquely fried without being tossed in sauce - I haven't come across their particular method before but I sure like it. Their layout is unique with a split dining room and patio that opens in the afternoon. This is a great location to catch soccer games not normally caught at home.

Another update. I have to say that their service has improved greatly and we are a huge fan. My friend and I take my 16 month old there for lunch and love the atmosphere. I also like going there for happy hour- the bartenders and female manager are awesome- so accommodating. I will be so excited once the patio is open- there aren't many places to eat around here where you can sit outside.

Everything was just alright, sliding on bad. CPIK and I ate here because it was close to Lowes and we didn't want to go far for food. Our pasta was so bad, we sent it back, our meat tasted old....service was not particularly BAD, but it wasn't GOOD either. All in all, I wouldn't come back. It was an interesting place to try, but definitely not our cup of tea.
