Yo Mix is a friendly place where you can get some great frozen yogurt. The owner Deborah and her staff do a great job making everyone feel welcome. I've never had a bad experience. They have a terrific selection to pick from and the largest amount of toppings I've ever seen. I love the wet-nuts alone on my fro-yo, but I usually can't help myself and add some fresh pineapple and hot fudge too. ha! Best part is Yo Mix supports a reading program at my daughter's school. She gets a discount at Yo Mix if she reads her books. It nice to see a local business be advocate for learning. It shows Yo Mix cares about the community. Carrollton needs more businesses like Yo Mix and I'm glad they are here.

Expensive and not a particularly great product. I've been 3 times since the grand opening this summer and I'm just not impressed. The yogurt doesn't have a great texture (kind of icy and thin), the flavors are just OK, and it always seems like it could be a little cleaner (the second two trips, the place was practically empty, so no excuse for it not being immaculate). The choice of toppings is good, though. I've met the manager/owner and she's very nice, but the rest of the staff is just OK. All three times, our yogurt has been very expensive, for the amount we felt we got. I LOVE a local (ish) froyo competitor, but with Yo Mix, there's nothing here that ever inspires me to come back.

Too expensive. They only offer the large bowls, so you pay for the weight of the large bowl even if you you want a small amount. Two of us did not even fill our bowls up to the top and the bill was well over $12!!! That's ridiculous. The yogurt was also not creamy.

YoMix has always been satisfying for my sweet tooth. They seems very accommodating and friendly to families, as I have gone in with my indecisive 5 year old and the staff has always been pleasant. I have learned not to load up my cup with heavy toppings like fruit, which can make it more expensive. I also don't fill up the cup more than 1/2 full because it ends up being a lot of frozen yogurt! The flavors are what you would expect at a frozen yogurt bar and I find the froyo to be of similar consistency to that of others in the area. I have never been disappointed and look forward to going back.
