My Mom and I were on our way back to Hampton from Suffolk and stopped here for lunch. The place was very nice on the inside. Lunch time it was empty but I imagine it gets to be quite rowdy in the evenings. We both got Reuben Sandwiches and they were enjoyable. I seem to remember really enjoying the sides we ordered but I can't remember what they were. I think we were told they have some good deals on Seafood on certain days. We'll have to come back and try that. Overall decent choice for lunch if you're passing through the area, though!

I try to find positives so the server was attentive and the potato skins were good! The rest not so much! The Bigger Band was excellent ....

Fortunately for most businesses, yelp can be an amazing source of advertising. Any successful business is aware that word of mouth is the most powerful tool for driving customer flow into their establishment. UNFORTUNATELY for bridges restaurant, they failed miserably at realizing this bit of information whenever PROFITABILITY 101 was being taught. When I say that we had the most comically awful dinner experience of all time, I am being very generous. I made reservations for 8:00pm. We arrived exactly ON THE DOT. The second we walked in, BOOM you are at the hostess stand. It quickly turned into a cluster you know what as more couples started funneling through the door behind us. The couple in front of us did not have reservations, so we were seated first. The non reservation couple followed right behind us, and were seated next to us. Our waitress came over to take our drink order, and told us she would look for menus to bring. Within a few minutes, the couple next to us received their menus, and their drink orders had already arrived. Around 8:30,the nice couple next to us was done figuring out what they wanted, and were KIND ENOUGH to provide us with one of their two menus. We then flagged down the hostess to alert him that we had not received another menu, and were still waiting on part of our drink order. His snarky response was that they did not have enough menus, they were short-staffed, and they were very busy. YET, as I looked around, there were open tables everywhere, and 3 waitresses up at the hostess stand looking out and pointing around. Granted, this was Valentine's Day, but knowing that, and taking common sense into consideration, PRINT EXTRA MENUS, SCHEDULE MORE PEOPLE---WORK SMARTER, not harder. We came very close to walking out, had I not talked my significant other out of giving it more of a try. At around 8:45, we put in our food order--Delmonico steak with a baked potato, and a seafood platter with scallops, shrimp, fish, and hush puppies . It sounded delicious, and we were just happy food finally seemed to be in sight. Time ticked and ticked, and around 9:15, after a few drink refills, we asked when our food would be ready, and were told that they were slammed in the kitchen and all the food was coming out at once, but that it was being plated. It was true, we looked around, and NO ONE was eating, except for ONE table just laughing and enjoying their meal. I guess they got lucky. 9:30 rolled around, and FINALLY IT CAME! HALLELUJAH! At first glance, it was LESS than disappointing. For $20+ a plate, the plates were very small, portions on the seafood platter were dime-sized, and it was as if someone gave the chef a bottle of Old Bay Seasoning for Christmas and told him to just GO NUTS! It was doused in seasoning, the steak had a giant fatty piece in the center, almost like a donut, you could only eat around it. My baked potato was subbed out with French fries without me ever being asked, because they had "GIVEN OUT ALL OF THEIR BAKED POTATOES," which I was never made aware of. And we NEVER received hush puppies with our platter. To top it all off, IT WAS COLD! Imagine that. Hmm. We took one bite, and said, "This is ridiculous." We brought the waitress over, explained our more than horrible experience, and asked if there was anything they could do to rectify the situation. She After playing phone tag between her and Mr. Hostess man, she came back, and relayed that there seemed to be confusion in how we were not having the time of our lives?? Her and the hostess/manager talked behind their hands back and forth, and ultimately left it up to us, asking what WE thought THEY should do to fix it--partial discount, full comp?? Umm, nice. REAL professional putting your customers in that situation to decide what should be done. It was very uncomfortable and awkward, and because we drank our drinks, and had bites of the food, we, as good customers, felt a full comp wouldn't have been right. SO they decide to discount us $20 off of our $60 bill. HA! Sure. We would have payed $100 just to GTFO of there. So glad they are concerned with retaining customers. Had the manager come over to speak with us, apologize for the horrible experience, and offer to compensate us in every way, we could have called it an even understanding. But you can COUNT on my life that myself, my family, all of my friends, and hopefully everyone reading this review will not put themselves through that kind of insanely horrible service. SO overall--for awful food, WRONG food, slow service, rude service, incompetent management, and bad business practices--how many stars shall I award? One--but only because it won't allow me to put ZEROOOOOO.

This is an interesting place. I went on a Monday night. I walked into a dimly lit and seemingly well thought out restaurant environment. What struck me as odd was a laser light show and an elderly karaoke host soliciting singers during normal diner hours. Apparently this place has a "club" during some hours and a Restaurant during others. The problem is that they don't know when to turn one on and the other off. The food was ok nothing great; passable at best. The drinks were high! 275 for pabts blue ribbon! On a good note the shrimp and scallops were cooked well and the wait staff was great. I hear they pack the house on weekends. I feel they should make appropriate changes for the rest of the week. I proably won't visit again for dinner.
