Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Best Philly Cheesesteak in the area. I will go out of my way to drive by the Philadelphia Cheesesteak even suffer that god awful back up on duke street to get on the beltway. This place is a interesting landmark among chains and fast food and might scare some less adventurous yelpers but if you are able to squeeze into a parking space or even park across the street and walk, you will experience the most authentic Philly style cheesesteak outside of Pennsylvania. I've never had their pizza or anything other than the steak sub. If you are in love why stray? Give this local restaurant a try. You won't spend a lot and you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I were looking to try something new and stumbled across this place. After reading the reviews we just knew we were in for a treat. We both ordered the Ultimate sandwiches. There was very little meat and it wasn't seasoned. We also ordered a large cheese fry. My husband was dissapointed that the melted cheese didn't automatically come on the sub (in Philly ther ed no question)...if he had know he had to ask for it he would have. We may give it another shot...we shall see

Second time trying this place, first time I tried this place I ordered the ultimate cheesesteak, it wasn't very "ultimate" there wasn't much meat, and was salty. Fries were very soggy. But I blame that on the hour it took to deliver, when I had called about why it was taking so long they tell me they were short on drivers... Then why tell me it'll be 30-45 minutes Second time thought I'd give another try, I had a groupon I bought and it was the "take-out, delivery option" so I called and ordered for delivery. They tell me they no longer accept delivery for groupon orders and I kept telling them that it's what I had... Took a few minutes for them to call their boss and that's when they accepted it... Order hot wings, onion rings, and a Italian hoagie. Hoagie was ok, onionrings were soggy very greasy and onion inside was all mush, and the hot wings, let's just say if u like them really tiny and soggy, then u can order that...

PCF, I am huge fan; however, you missed the mark tonight (9:30pm). My Dad was very disappointed with his cheesesteak. The tomatoes were sour, sub was dry and not seasoned well. As I stated before, my Dad lives in DC and travel to PCF just to have one of your cheesteak. I was very disappointed to hear his disappointment because I rant and rave about your subs and the quality of the food. Maybe the cook was having a bad night. Please get it together and check the tomatoes. $8.61 wasted.

Came here with a groupon, great prices even without. This place has a small set up, not much room to sit if it gets backed up. The cheese fries were terrible, very starchy taste and the cheese was something you'd put on a sandwich...like Kraft cheese The mushroom cheesesteak didnt have any mushrooms in it, maybe 6 max. Overall the steak in both cheesesteaks was flavorful but nothing too special

Came here because of a Living Social coupon, my husband ordered the ultimate philly cheesteak and I ordered the original. The service was fast and both sandwiches tasted really good. I would definitely come back here for their sandwich.

Food is usually good, but why the delivery guys have such a hard time coming up to our door is beyond me. Any other place we order from has no problem, but these guys make us leave the comfort of our home to meet them outside.

I make my own pizza all the time but this pizza is really very very good! The sauce is just right! The crust and everything is very edible...We order too much of it but it is very good! Cheese steak is great, chicken wings, french fries....YOU HUNGRY? Eat here or have it delivered.... What else can I say? Peter and his crew are the best!!!

This place is pretty bad. I was craving a cheesesteak and this was the first place that came up after a quick Google search. It looked decent enough, boasting a Philly-style cheesesteak, so I decided to give it a try. Instead of option for delivery, I drove there. The parking lot is pretty small and shared, but I didn't have much trouble finding a stall. The interior is tiny too, but it has character. A little dirty, but nothing too bad. The woman taking my order was pretty gruff and really looked like she didn't want to be there, but perhaps she was trying to give me her best Philadelphia imitation to make the experience more authentic. I ordered two cheesesteaks (one for me and one for my boyfriend), two orders of fries (one cheesy and one regular), and a jumbo slice of pizza. The pie came out first, and it was a sad attempt at a jumbo slice. Before you dismiss me with a "what did you expect ordering pizza from a sandwich joint?" I would just like to say that I almost feel obliged to order pizza from everywhere that offers it, and the pizza doesn't factor into my rating of this place at all. It's just a side note. Let's talk about the actual cheesesteaks, though. WHAT EVEN. I'm glad they at least offered Cheese Whiz as an attempt to be somewhat authentic, but even that couldn't save these. The consistency of the meat was almost like ground beef. Not what I'm used to at all. And the vegetables in both the cheesesteaks were on the verge of rotting. The rolls felt and tasted like they'd been left out for too long and were so dry. It was not a good experience. However, because I was craving a cheesesteak hard, I ate the whole thing. The fries were okay. They're on the thinner side (but not super skinny), which I enjoy. The cheese fries are covered with Cheese Whiz, which automatically made them a thousand times better than their naked counterparts. But I came here for cheesesteak, not fries. Hence the two star rating... If you can't make a cheesesteak right, let alone make it even resemble a Philly-style cheesesteak, why would you advertise that? Definitely not worth the price for a sub-par sandwich, and definitely not worth more than two stars.

Ah, PCF, how you tempt me with your delicious Philly Cheese Steaks. You the Reaper of many a failed diet, but who can resist such succulent cheese steaks made oh so many ways. Of course, I always order your original cheese steak with cheese wiz, because although it may not be real cheese, I'm sure that is the way the Food Gods intended it to be served, smothered in gooey, gooey Cheese Wiz. Yup, the Cheese Wiz is the way to go, for it flows much better that the provolone cheese, which always seems to clump up in the sandwich. However, my diet might survived your cheese steak siege if it weren't for your equally yummy pizza. Yes, I must confess that on more than one occasion I couldn't decide between your cheese steak and pizza, so I have ordered both. Yes, I have sinned against the Diet Gods, but who could resist in the face of such temptation? Your pizza is a slice of New York style, and I savor ever bite and cry when the last slice stares back at me from the box. Oh, PCF, I am helpless in the face of your pizza magic. It is as if you have cried "Havoc! And let slip the dogs of pizza." It is a battle I am happy to lose time and again.

This is the only place for cheesesteaks within 146 miles, as far as I'm concerned. Born and raised in Philly -- northern suburbs (Lee's Hoagie House 4 Life) -- bleed green in the winter, red in the summer. But been stuck in DC for 15 years, and for most of that time my cheesesteak needs have gone unmet. But no more. It must be said -- the Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory's cheesestakes are PERFECT. My go-to order is whiz with. The rolls are exceptional and legit. The meat is perfect, juicy and not gristly, the whiz is of course perfect. The cheese fries are a touch of home and bring a tear to my eye. But again, the CHEESESTEAKS. The CHEESESTEAKS PEOPLE. They are perfect. Everyone has their own preferences and I don't judge, but I honestly think perhaps some of earlier reviewers don't understand what cheesesteaks are. - One review said that the vegetables on her cheesesteak were old. First of all, I've never had anything but the freshest ingredients at the Cheesesteak Factory. Second, unless you're talking about onions, WHY ARE YOU PUTTING VEGETABLES ON A CHEESESTEAK? Yes around the country people sell things called "philly steaks" that have lettuce, tomato and mayo. And perhaps you can get something similar at the Cheesesteak Factory, and I respect the restaurant for being willing to oblige such misguided thinking -- I understand that to a restaurant, the customer is always right. However, please understand, in this case, the customer is very wrong. (In addition, i have never had anything but absolutely fresh, and stunningly legit, philly-style amoroso rolls from this place) - Another review said that the meat wasn't red. Yes, that is how you cook a cheesesteak -- it's not a New York Strip, where I personally go medium rare. Wikipedia makes clear that the meat in a cheesesteak is quickly browned. Or better, google image search "legit philly cheesesteak" and behold the brown caramelized goodness. - Another review compared it unfavorably to Subway. SUBWAY. You've done more damage to yourself than I ever could. - A few reviews mentioned the attitude of staff. I personally have never seen anything but prompt and efficient service. Was it always served with a Virginia-style smile? Well sometimes, but not always. And well it should not. PHILADELPHIA cheesesteak, people. Finally, I'll add that the pizzas are okay and serviceable but definitely not the main attraction. The wings are okay but I personally prefer them on the crisper/more well done side. But the cheesesteaks. THE CHEESESTEAKS. God bless you, Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory.

Best cheesesteak outside of the Philly area! Haven't been back since dairy and gluten are no longer allowed in my diet, but I often find myself craving Philly Cheesesteak Factory!

Over the years, I've struggled to find a place with a solid Cheesesteak. This all changed when I first went to Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory. The sandwhich is made on a traditional Philly roll and is made with the your choice of cheese (American, Provolone, or Wiz). The cheese is then melted in the steak. YUM. A few other places with good cheesesteaks have sprung up in DC in the recent years, but PCF is hands down one of my favorite places - and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I went because someone RECOMMENDED ME this place and it turned out to be the worst. Got there and the lady that got my order looked like she was having a bad day to start with so i knew right away not to ask any questions since she looked so upset. I knew what i was getting so right away i ordered two cheesesteaks w/ mushrooms, lettuce and tomatoes..a few minutes later i get my food and i walk to my car and just incase i check if my order is correct and i noticed there were no mushrooms and no tomatoes i mean they threw ONE SLICE of tomato, seriously!!!!!!!!! Cmon!! I had to go back and as i went back i tell the front desk lady and she was so rude and the person making the subs was even more rude!!!!!! He threw the subs in the trash!!! with a rude attitude and he just did it all over again without asking me if i just wanted more srooms or tomato. Worst customer service. Worst place. HAVE HAD BETTER! Never coming back.

I always pass by this place while driving on Duke, but for some reason, had always believed it to be some type of a golf shop (I thought the sign was a big golf ball, and thought the PCF was actually a 'PGF,' standing for 'Professional Golf Federation' of some sort - HA!). Little did I know did it actually stand for Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory! They have a location out in Tyson's Corner as well. Their menu offers appetizers (french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread with cheese, jalapeno poppers, etc.), wings, salads, wraps, burritos, pizza (by the slice or by the size), burgers, chicken cheesesteaks, classic cheesesteaks, grinders, hoagies, stromboli, and even gyros and quesadillas. Eddie was the chef, and the cashier was a friendly guy named Carlos. We ordered and sat by the counter area (about 7-8 stools). We started off with cheese fries and onion rings - I absolutely LOOOOVED the cheese fries as the fries had a nice crispy batter and the cheese was hot hot hot and salty and cheesy - yum! Best cheese fries I've had in quite some time! The onion rings were pretty solid as well. We shared a Cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz with some fried onions and mayo - I thought the meat was a little too 'peppery' for me; the bread was just okay, and they sure did not skimp out on the Cheez, which I could appreciate. However, I wasn't a fan. I'd like to come back and try out their pizza as well as their wings. I'm definitely a fan of their cheese fries, though! The guys were friendly, and there seemed to be a lot of call-ins for carry-outs. I'm glad I was able to finally try this place out! :D +cheese fries :D +ask for Eddie :D +some counter seating available; outside seatings available

We ordered 2 "originals", one with wiz one with provolone, and a large fry to share. A ton of meat and cheese. Disappointed they don't have malt vinegar for fries or old bay. Seating is sparse and counter style, it's clean. I don't live close enough to return often, but otherwise would. If u like cheese steaks, this is a great place.

I have seen this place a million times but have never eaten here. I was in the mood for Philly subs so figure I would place a delivery order. Almost an hour later the driver arrives at my door, and is perturbed, and hands us our food. Since the name of the place is the Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory I was expecting the best cheesesteak I have ever had. The classic cheesesteak was bland. The meat was a brownish gray color and had a weird consistency. The meat was also very salty, but still bland. The bun was soggy. There was very little melted cheese, onions and mushrooms. Really, all you could taste was the bland meat. The hoagie sub seemed to have more cheese, and flavor overall, but it was only marginally better. The Onion rings were not crispy and were also soggy. The Jalapeno Poppers were decent. Oddly enough the best part of the meal was the Pierogis. They were not traditional pierogis, but more like mini Calzones. However, the Pierogis were pretty tasty. It would seem from reading other reviews that perhaps this place is a hit or miss depending on the days. Everyone seems to love it or dislike it. I guess my first experience fell in the latter category. I thought the subs were very subpar for a place named the Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory. There are better cheesesteak places further down the road. However, I am possibly willing to give this place another shot in the future.

I love this place! Got a cheesesteak sub and some cheese fries that probably took some time off my life, but dammit I can say I lived! This is my favorite cheesesteak in the area by far. The sandwiches are humongoid ginormous large. They are extremely tasty. And they are made fresh to order. You can order online, which is kind of cool. I think they also have pizzas, but for my first visit I had to go with a signature item. Although I think this is a chain, the store has a private feel--maybe it's a franchise. There is minimal seating inside and a view of the road out the windows, so you don't come here for the relaxing ambiance. But the food is so delish! Most people seemed to be getting food to go. We were the weird ones who ordered in and then sat and ate. Nobody else ate in while we were there, although there was a steady stream of lunch crowd. Nobody had to wait long, including us. The workers were really cool. I felt like I was at one of the old famous Philly sandwich shops in Philadelphia, but maybe a little bit friendlier. The menu was bigger than anticipated so we were delayed on our ordering, and the guys waited patiently and were all business. There is a parking lot next to the building. It's no frills, but if you are in the area, it's one of the best meals you can get! And somebody complained about prices...let me tell you, you're hard pressed to beat this place. I got out of here for under $10 but with about $30 of food in my stomach. Heck, I'd come here over most places in Old Town. It really is substantially better and would be a go-to option for me no matter where it was located.

I don't understand the high reviews. This is one of the worst meals I've had recently. I could have gotten a better cheesesteak at Subway. I came in with some expectations and they weren't even close to being met. The woman who took our order was not pleasant at all. I tried to be polite and express interest in the business and she really did not seem to care. Plus she did not know what "Wit" meant. I had to explain a second time that I wanted onions. Anyone who works in a Philly Cheesesteak place should know what "wit" means. Alrighty then. We also order an order of cheese fries and a fried calzone. We tear into the calzone on the way home. It was really good. Actually, it is the only thing that saved this from a one-star review. There was this small shack in my childhood home town of Cape May County, NJ in the early 90's. They had this fried calzone and I have never seen it anywhere else. I was excited to see it. Sadly, the sauce they provided with it was cold. Not even room temperature. That was really disappointing. But that is about where the pleasantness stops. I can see them making my steak. They pull some meat out and throw it on the grill. The meat that gets put on the grill is brown. No red to it at all. I was getting really concerned. The meat on the finished cheesesteak was gray. It was not good quality. It did not taste fresh at all. Actually, it did not taste like anything. I ordered extra whiz and there was a thin layer on the bottom of the steak. I saw other people's pictures with sandwiches covered in Whiz. That was not my experience, at all. The roll was good, but that was about it. My husband's steak had lettuce on it and he said it was very limp and didn't taste good. We ate some of the cheese fries but decided it wasn't worth it. If I am going to eat bad food I want to enjoy it. There was no enjoying this. There was sort of a layer of very lumpy whiz on the bottom of the container. The fries where blech. I'm guessing a layer of american cheese was melted on the top? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Whiz and American cheese. This was just plain nasty. Now don't give me this "Don't expect a proper Philly Cheesesteak if you aren't in Philly" crap. There is a place in Newport News called Ricks which has the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. They mixed the steak with the whiz and a sandwich with no extra cheese had twice the amount of whiz than this places' extra whiz. The meat tastes fresh and is not gray, plus they have so much meat on the steaks that it is almost impossible to eat without spilling it everywhere. That's a good steak. This steak was not a good steak. Won't be coming back

I've ordered from this place before for delivery and it is pretty solid. I've ordered a variety they have of cheese steak. All were yummy. In chase you don't get enough cheese, their cheese fries are also delicious. One time I ordered the gyro and the meat reminded me of lunch meat. The delivery service is also quick.

Now, if you are the average joe, you don't care if a Cheesesteak is called a Steak and Cheese or a Cheesy Steak. You don't care if the meat is boiled, grilled or pan fried. You don't care if it is served on a hotdog roll or Kaiser. And this review is not for you. This is for all my Tastykake loving, Breyer's Ice Cream craving, Hoagie eating, Soft Pretzel and Wooder Ice aficionados. I walked in this place, hungry for a taste of home. Of course you see the sign that says it's a factory, but the place is small. It reminded me of some of the less known cheesesteak places in Philly. Not the Geno's or Pats, which any true Philadelphian will tell you is purely a tourist stop. It's like going to P.F. Changs for authentic Chinese food instead of going to China Town. I went in and saw the pictures of Philadelphia. You know, standard stuff like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall. I think if I would have seen a picture of Patti LaBelle or Sly Stallone I would have turned and left. You can tell which places try to over sell the whole Philly thing. I noticed the guys behind the counter had the right look to them. Rough looking, but kinda friendly. Like an ice hockey coach on the way out of their midlife crisis who just found Jesus. . I even caught a bit of Philadelphian accent when he asked me what I'd like to order. We'll it was more of a "HEY, Whatchu want?" I appreciated the directness. I asked one question before even daring to order. "What kind of rolls are your sandwiches on?" His answer. "Amoroso's" I then knew it was the real deal. Amoroso's Baking Company is a Philadelphia based, family-owned company that specializes in hearth baked breads and rolls. This is must for any real cheesesteak. Just like any other art, it is defined by the techniques used and the skill applied. One way to begin is to examine a cheesesteak is to identify the ingredients used while each cheesesteak artist selects the style in making an cheesesteak hoagie, chicken cheesesteak, or peppersteak. The decision to get it with or without cheesewiz, with salt or pepper, or fried onions inevitably effects its creation; the cheesesteak becomes something different from how it might be if it had been created if made by someone outside of the tri-state area, even if everything else about the ingredients remains the same. Another way is by taste. Soggy bread to bag ratio. Salt content vs over seasoning in the meat or the sheer amount of cheese. The true greats know how to build a Cheesesteak. They completed the task. Of course this is my subjective review and maybe I would have given them more Stars if I could find a Franks Pineapple Soda. Not Pop! SODA PEOPLE!

My last experience here prompt me to write this review. Last Sunday I ordered a cheese steak and asked for delivery. Let's say it took almost 2 hours for it to arrive and when I called to check the status the lady taking orders did not answer (I believe they have caller ID). The food was cold and bland. I was truly disappointed. In all fairness, I would give then 4 stars but that's only if you are go in and place your order for takeout.

We purchased a Groupon from this establishment. We arrived in the afternoon and had to fight traffic just to get in. The food was not worth it; hubs got a cheesesteak and I got an extremely dry cheeseburger. Save your time and skip this place.

I've driven past PCF countless times and only recently taken any notice. A good friend of mine lives up the street from this place and when I asked her for her opinion, she dared to say that she'd never been. Whaaaat? How is that possible? So, after harping on her about it for a while, and getting nowhere with it, fate interceded. A menu with the word DELIVERY appeared on my door a few weeks back. As it happens, I was nursing a New Years hangover and needed hangover food. What better food for a hangover than a greasy cheesesteak. Am I right? So, I utilized the coupon for an extra large specialty pizza, a cheesesteak and a two litre for $19.99. What a deal! And waaaaaay too much food for this chunky lil princess, but still. I really wanted that cheesesteak and I really didn't want to put on a bra. Delivery was timely and friendly. The cheesesteak (with whiz, duh) hit the spot, but the pizza was mediocre. Go get your cheesesteak on at PCF, but skip the pie. Now, I have half a cheesesteak and a pizza missing a slice to feed on for the remainder of the week and probably into the weekend. Somehow that seems like $20 well spent.

Now I'm not from philly so I don't know what a real "philly cheese steak" is supposed to look or taste like.....but this place is really good. The service is great. When we got there and ordered we asked if they'd drop a fresh batch of fries for us and they were happy to do it. The bread for the sandwiches is amazing. The cheese fries were really really good too. Not to much cheese. The only thing which is really a minor thing, I was disappointed the tomato wasn't ripe, which I could understand if it were winter time. Everything else was perfect! Thank you PCF, we really enjoyed it!

Fail...everything I asked for about the order was wrong. I ordered through grub hub, so it was already paid for. I got a chicken cheesesteak-light cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ranch on the side. What I got was extra cheese, lettuce, onions (no tomato), and no ranch. I have my grub hub order receipt, so I know I ordered what I wanted. I asked the driver about the wrong order...he was clueless (as he started to walk away) and said "yea I don't know what happens in the kitchen." Great first (now last) impression!

Went there for the first time today. Excellent northeastern food. We ordered the classic cheesesteak with wiz, cheese fries, a meatball grinder, and a meaty salad. It was all very good. The building is out of a 1950s suburban oeuvre, probably an old Howard Johnson's or those places the Marriott family owned. Lots of crazy north Alexandria wannabe playas getting their grub on. Will def repeat. Oh, and the nice cashier lady brought out dum dum pops. Total 20th century experience.

I order from here a week ago for the first time and was very disappointed... The Philly cheesesteak did not meet my expectations. The sandwich was made with cheese on only half the sandwich, and the steak had no flavor. I also purchased a chicken Caesar wrap and was given so much wrap vs filling that I can't tell you if it was good or not. I also ordered the barbecue wings, which was pretty good. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I placed an order on delivery.com an hour later I call the restaurant to see where my order was. The manager gets on the phone to tell me that they did not receive the order till about 10 minutes ago and that it should be leaving the restaurant in about 15 minutes. I decided to cancel the order because they did not offer any sort of apology and tried to pass along the blame to delvivery.com . So i call delivery.com . They tell me that the restaurant had acknowledged the order 8 minutes after i had placed it. They call the manager Pete and pass along my complaint. Pete offers to deliver the food free of charge and it should be there in 15-20 minutes. So i think i am good. Except its been over an hour since then and guess what...still no food. Horrible customer service (except from delivery.com ). i will never order from them again. too many other places to take my business.

This place has gone down hill since they first opened. They used to cook the steak n cheese fresh off the grill now everything is precooked and they warm the meat and cheese together before putting it on the bun. The steak meat is more like ground beef and the seasoning they use leaves a bad after taste.

Really good pizza, especially considering the price. Don't order if you're starving because they take up to an hour to deliver, it's probably faster to just pick it up. They've also always (and I do mean ALWAYS) get my address wrong. They call me from another building and I have to direct them to mine. And this is even after calling the shop and confirming my address. Still, it's good pizza (and really good prices)

I had a craving for a cheesesteak and decided to order from here.big mistake Delivery took over an hour. Food was cold when it arrived. Tasteless and bland not even close to a Philadelphia cheesesteak experience. Avoid this place, it's not worth it.

So, I ordered the classic cheese steak after reading all the great reviews about how awesome this place is! I added on bacon and provolone cheese w/ a side of cheez whiz and followed it up with some cheese fries and proceeded to wait in my comfy chair for it to arrive to my house... after about 40 minutes, I received a huge bag of items which smelled delicious by the way and I could not wait to partake in the festivities going on in my bag. However, this was the driest philly cheese steak I've ever had, the meat was hard and the bun was soggy (how does that even happen?) and the seasoning was subpar... it greatly needed some salt and mayo... the fries were cold, it tasted like they were left out for a while and then reheated with cheese on top. This is ridiculous, we just moved to this area from Miami and I swear some of these food places are just so mediocre! I wonder if it'll be different if I came up and order it in person but, I'm too scared to try! Welp.

Usually if I am unimpressed with a restaurant, I'll just decide not to eat from there again and just leave it at that. That being said, I feel like after the experience I had the other day, I need to let everyone know that, from a delivery standpoint, you will be frustrated. My wife and I ordered from PCF this past Sunday evening. When I called, the woman who took my order had a very difficult time getting my address down, and this gave me the feeling that there may be issues getting the food. About 25 minutes later, my wife got a call from the driver saying he was having trouble finding our place -- and the reason was because the address was completely wrong. So my wife repeated the address, and he repeated it (wrong) so she gave it to him again. He said he had it (he was using a GPS which he said he didn't work so well). He then called back again three minutes later saying he was still having trouble, and repeated the address back again (wrong again). My wife repeated it, and began to give him directions from Duke to our main road. He then said he doesn't really know the area so well. Keep in mind he's the delivery guy, and we live like a mile from the restaurant. So he called back again, and at this point my wife was so frustrated that she didn't want to talk, so I took over. Just as frustrating. He gave him step by step directions, and he was still having trouble, and he kept asking me questions like "what do I do now" like I was riding shotgun, only I didn't know what street he was on. So I gave him the address again and gave him general directions. He called back again three minutes later, still having trouble, and telling me he was frustrated (not at me, but at the fact that he got the wrong address). I agreed that it was frustrating. So I pretty much spent the next ten minutes guiding him over the phone, and giving him alternate routes when a wrong turn was made, and pretty much talked him to our front door. At this point I was done with the whole thing, so my wife answered the door. He was apologetic for the hassle, but he was obviously frustrated with the whole thing. So we have our food now. They were missing an order of fries, and I looked at the receipt and the woman had forgot to put it down on the order. We figured we'd just split the one order of fries because it most definitely wasn't worth the trouble. But then, five minutes after we sat down to eat, my wife received another call, this time by a third person, who let us know that there was an issue with our address. No kidding, but it's not our fault. My wife said we had our food and were tired of the whole thing, after which the guy said thanks and hung up. I really don't know what the point of the call was, but it succeeded in extending the delivery experience through the actual delivery. Long story...long, the food was OK, although may have been soured by the delivery drama. Who knows, maybe I'd have a much better experience if I actually ate there or carried out, but I'd have to really want a cheesesteak from there. And I definitely don't see myself ever ordering delivery from there again. I really don't mean to sound condescending or anything, and I actually left out a good amount of details so as not to pile on. But I really thought this whole experience warranted a review.

The cheese steak was greasy than I'm typically used to getting for a steak sub. The flavors just weren't as great as some of the betters subs I've tried. The fries were nothing to write home about. None of the food was bad per say, but they definitely weren't very good.

Been going here for a couple of months and order the same thing everytime.....grilled chicken sandwich platter. For $7, I got a hot off the grill fresh chicken breast sandwich with lettuce tomato and mayo, good size order of fries, and soda with refills. Food was very good and priced more than fair. Better and CHEAPER than McDonalds up the street!! The several times I have been here, nothing but delicious, hot food. Pete, you da man! One day, I will go after the chicken cheesesteak....one day

I only had a cheese steak, but in no way did it resemble a real one from Philly or Pittsburgh. Cheap meat and no cheese whiz!

Just ordered delivery here and was not totally impressed. I ordered the original cheese steak and some chips and salsa. I was excited when GrubHub asked me how I wanted my meat cooked, so I was expecting a delicious medium rare juicy cheese steak with fresh mushrooms, onions, and peppers....not exactly what I got. The meat was not medium rare, but it wasn't dry, so that's okay. Bread was pretty good. I believe they used canned mushrooms...not so good. I could barely taste the onion. The meat, peppers, onions and mushrooms were all kind of muddled together. Now, a little disclaimer, I'm no cheese steak expert by any means...so maybe this is the way things are done in Philly, and with that being said, I can respect that. But I guess it's just not how I would like a cheese steak. Now, for the the BIG disappointment...my chips and salsa were just Tostitos chips and salsa, or some kind of store brand. I do realize that when you have a busy restaurant, it's hard to make EVERYTHING home made, but I think salsa should definitely be one of those things...by the looks of the menu, they basically have everything to make it...salsa is pretty easy. I would order here again, they have a pretty large menu full of other things that look pretty good that I would love to try. I also really appreciate the fact that the owner is taking time to look at this website at the reviews to try and improve his business. I've never seen that before on here, and totally admire that. Oh, and about the complaints of the slow delivery...you live in a big city and are probably ordering at busy meal times....get over it. You can wait an hour.

Had a rare craving for cheesesteak yesterday so decided to try for first time yesterday. Overall stands up to any of the steaks I've had in Philly...and I've tried em all during my 10 years in the 215. Simple, quick and friendly service. Fresh made and had all the topping choices you expect. Bonus of having green peppers which I love on a steak but not all the "classic/purist" places have. I got the mushroom, pepper(hot, sweet, and green), with onions and provolone! Great sandwich! Half of it could've satisfied me but was so good a scarfed down the whole thing! I will be back here whenever I need to satisfy my Philly steak urge!

Wow, I'm sure I don't know what to make of this place and all of the bad recent reviews. Went there tonight to pick up a takeout order of one classic and one ultimate cheese steak. Both had perfectly good meat that wasn't dry, plenty of cheese, and better rolls than I've been able to find anywhere else in this area. I'm especially confused by these comments that this is no better than Subway. Are you kidding me? These 2 sandwiches alone had more meat on them than they probably use in the average Subway store in a whole day. And there is no comparison in the rolls. My only possible complaint would be that the rolls were a bit soggy by the time I got home, but that's somewhat understandable given the transport time. Also, did I taste a hint of oregano on the ultimate? Don't remember anything like that on any of the hundreds of these things I've gotten in the Philly and south Jersey area. Overall, I don't think I've had better cheesesteaks anywhere in this area, although admittedly, that isn't a very high standard. Too bad this place is so far out of the way for me, so it's really only worth stopping by if I'm already in the area, which I'm usually not. Given that so many of the complaints seem to center on delivery disasters, I don't think that would be worth a try. Maybe I just got lucky with the crew working tonight, but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Ordered lunch from here today- I usually get one of their cheesesteak sandwiches - which are pretty good- but today I decided to try a burger which was pretty disappointing..luckily we also got some wings which were really good.

Mmmm~ I have yet to have an original cheesesteak, so I'm unsure of just how it's suppose to taste, but this was delicious! We stopped by after we checked into the hotel because after a long 11 hour drive, good food was just what we needed. We ordered the original cheesesteak and the peppered cheesesteak, and the peppered cheesesteak was delicious! The peppers add great taste with it, and the lemonade is a good compliment to the cheesesteak! If it can get any better than this, bring it! But until then, this is by far the best I've had since this is the closest to Philly I can get.. currently.

Definitely NOT your Philly cheese steak!! I would compare it to subway's steak and cheese. The meat was completely dry! I am not sure how ppl are rating this place higher than 3 stars!!

Ordered a salad & stromboli tonight. When he was 20 minutes late I called to check on our order and they just said "he's left the building just give him more time please." I think I've given him plenty. It's now 1 hour 30 minutes (food was supposed to be here a 45 minutes ago) and I called to cancel the order, which the guy didn't want to do and argued with me saying instead why didn't he just comp our next meal. But we don't plan on eating there again. I finally got him to agree to refund our meal and cancel the delivery. The cheesesteaks are pretty good, so are the jalapeno poppers. But their delivery is ridiculously bad. We only live 2 miles from the restaurant. Last time they were 20 minutes late but I was willing to give them another chance -- big mistake.

Probably the best cheesesteak in DC. Granted that's not saying too much, but my classic sub came just right- flavorful meat, soft roll, gooey cheese and (yes!) whiz. Not fancy...no frills...that's why they call it Philly style, folks.

I love this place! It's as close to Philly as I can get without a road trip to Geno's! Finally a place that doesn't try to put lettuce and tomato on a cheesesteak in VA! The parking lot can be a little tricky, but it's worth it. Definately a good lunch stop if you're in the neighborhood and not being too worried about a diet.

Philly's finest in VA!! YUMMMY!!! So I have passed PCF many times before and never thought twice about it. Today I noticed this little shop with its sloping pitched Green tile roof and the Food Gods called out to me.... As I skimmed over their menu, my eyes instantly locked on the Meat Lovers Cheesesteak!! Nothing says Yum better than a delicious Philly with extra meat, extra cheese, then filled with Ham and BACON!! Yes BACON!! I have to say that I devoured every yummy morsel of this sandwich as well as a large fry. This was definitely as good if not better than any other cheesesteak I have out outside of the original Geno's/Pat's originals. I will definitely be back to enjoy this little secret jem again and again!! PS.. To make it truly amazing you have to throw some of those delicious fries inside or on top of the which!! TRULY DELICIOUS!!

Customer Service makes a world of difference!! Long story short: We ordered from PCF for the first time this evening and the delivery driver got completely lost trying to find our apartment--I mean I am talkin' going 20 minutes in the complete opposite direction. They ended up comping our meal and the manager (maybe it was the owner) delivered our food directly to us ASAP. Not only am I beyond pleased with their customer service but the food was delicious too. We will be back! Thank you for making what could of been a 1 star experience into a 5 star!

I am a huge CS fan and really like this place! I am going there at least 2-3 times a month now even though it is 20+ minutes from my house. The meat lover cheese steak with a large cheese fries and it hits the spot EVERY TIME. i highly recommend this place to any cheese steak lover. Keep up the great service and awesome food!

Saw this place on a rainy night, looking for a quick bite but not in the mood for the usual chain restaurant. Total hole in the wall that looked for all the world like a classic Philly place (in my mind anyway, how would I know--I grew up in Alexandria). Anyway, I had an "Original Philly Cheesesteak". Very simple, tasty, prepared fresh and served hot. Basic and unpretentious sandwich. And absolutely delicious. The service was good too...I was really the only person there so its hard to say, but the counter lady was friendly.

I've only eaten at this location but they are always nice, quick and reasonably priced. I love cheesesteaks and chez wiz so I may be biased but they offer a full menu if you want something else. Far from gourmet but big on taste.

Quoted 30-45 minutes for delivery. One hour and 20 minutes later I call and they said the guy is just now leaving the restaurant and hang up on me. No sorry. Nothing. Wow!!! This cheesesteak better be life changing!

So let me set the stage for you. I've been snowed in all day yesterday and I'm from outta town. I passed by this place a few days ago and decided that I had to put them to the test before I leave Alexandria. Walked in here around 2pm, I wanted to miss the lunch rush. Ordered a "wiz wit", a test that was passed with ease by the owner. An easy test I admit, but that was just the first question. The real test was the cheese steak. The only way to describe it was that's it was delicious. Better than Pats. I sit at their small counter now, dreading my last bite because it would conclude my journey with this wonderful creation. My only regret is that I only had one sandwich while in town. If I get to come back to DC, my first stop will be to PCF

Ordered online from here for the first time, and I am not doing that again. It was just, ugh. The food was mediocre and I've had cheesesteaks better at school and it seemed like just a pile of meat. The onion rings were bathed in grease, so with the fries, it does not seem like the cooks let the food rest before packing it. I mean, come on. I understand that the business wants speed, but take care of the customers food also. The only good thing that I actually tasted ok was their ham and cheese stromboli.

Tried this place for the first time... my bf claims it's really good, so I thought I'd give it a try and I ordered the original philly cheesesteak. The bread was nothing special.. kind of dry and I wish they toasted it or something. The meat was ok - a bit bland. It's a huge cheesesteak, maybe 1 ft long but flavor wasn't too great. A little pricey. My bf still loves it, but I'm not a big fan and probably won't be coming back.

I ordered via seamless on my phone, and I got the chicken cheesesteak and jalapeño poppers. Price was good, and the reviews looked decent. I didn't get a confirmation email so I called to confirm. The guy who answered was rude and hung up on me after answering my question. The delivery guy practically threw the bag at me and ran off. I'd decided I would never order from there again. Rude staff and smarmy delivery on a 30% tip? Forget that. Then I took a bite of the sammy. It was delicious and perfectly spiced. So, rude service and delicious sandwiches? I'm pretty sure these people actually are from Philly. I decided to order again. Great sandwiches matter more than nice staff:)

We used the website to order a couple of sandwiches. Confirmation email said 45 min but showed up in 27 min. Special order instructions to add & omit toppings were followed exactly, chicken cheesesteak was tasty. Eggplant parm was very good with delicious sauce. Bread was crunchy and good. They did charge extra $1.50 to deliver about 3 miles away. Glad we found this place!

  • Amber D.

Jalapeño poppers were very good. I had a steak salad, which has the steak they use on the subs. It's was good, but the dressing (ranch) was not great. My boyfriend had the ultimate steak sub & he said that was good too. Nothing life changing, but good. The delivery was very fast. The guy on the phone said 45 minutes & they were there in 25.

Their website says $7.99 for 10 wings + a can of soda. Their employees dismiss it and don't honor it. Their "wings" are no meat and deformed (although the hot sauce does taste good). Ignore the picture on the menu of the wings with the celery, you don't get any. Their customer service is non-existent and the girl who I dealt with couldn't have been less interested in even faking a sense of happiness. First time customer, last time customer.

I was a regular until tonight. After getting a reciept at 7.04, I called at 8.15 and they never got my order. They didn't care even a little. They were absolutely terrible. Won't go back. Their food isn't that great to put up with crap like this.

Have had both cheesesteaks and pizza from here, and it's among my favorites. The cheesesteaks (with real whiz) are among the best I've had this side of Philly. Great service and tasty food. The one downside is there isn't a lot of space there to eat in, but if it's a nice day the picnic tables are fine.

    (4)
  • David P.

Ordered the Meatlovers Cheesesteak, was good and packed with plenty of meat and cheese, definitely an entire meal without ordering any sides to go with it. Parking is scarce and so is seating (about 6 chairs across a bar to eat from). More of a place to pick up and go rather than stay and eat.

    (3)
  • Melanie B.

This place is great! A little small if you want to dine in, but they also have super fast delivery to Old Town. The chicken ultimate cheesesteak is my favorite, and I love the cheese fries too - none of that cruddy nacho cheese, it's nice creamy cheddar or something. Love this place!

  • Jennifer T.

I know the background of this place says it was started by two Philly natives, but I have to agree with other reviews that these aren't what you'd get in Philly or even anywhere else in PA. They're about half the size to start with, and they don't have as much cheese or peppers, it's mostly just meat. The meat has more of a ground beef texture and taste than any Philly cheesesteak I've had in PA or anywhere else. BUT, quick delivery and decent for what it is, plus it's better than a lot of the other food (especially delivery) that you can get in this area. They did forget one of the sandwiches when I ordered, but they brought it over super quick. The mozzarella sticks were decent, but not worth the nearly $7 price, so stick to the sandwiches if you're going to order here, but keep in mind that it's about half of what you'd get from the same order in Pennsylvania.

I am a big fan of Philadelphia's Philly cheesesteak and after a long drive all the way from California, this was really heavenly! I got the original cheesesteak -- packed with a lot of meat , onions, and melted cheese. Amazing! :-)

A native Philadelphian would have started a riot over what I received via delivery last night. I'd never ordered from the restaurant before, so of course, I expected that the sub would be a normal-sized cheesesteak. Wrong. What I received was barely an inch and a half wide. Although it had a decent amount of meat in it (for its size) it was probably a third of the size of a cheesesteak you've had anywhere else. It was just meh---didn't have a lot of flavor. I felt cheated. The onion rings were also not worth $2.99. I received about 7, and it just wasn't enough to justify the price. They were also lukewarm and needed reheating. Delivery of pretty much anything in Alexandria is either hit or miss, and this definitely falls in the miss category.

    (2)
  • Maggie G.

I ordered the basic cheesesteak and french fries. The cheesesteak was lukewarm and nothing special for a restaurant claiming to specialize in them, and the fries were terrible. Cold, soggy, bland, and gummy. When the delivery guy still hadn't shown up more than an hour after I placed my order online, I called the restaurant. The girl who answered the phone was super rude - didn't even take my name or order number, and just said the guy left a long time ago and would arrive soon. Umm, how do you know he'll arrive soon if you don't even ask for my information? I won't be ordering from this place again, and recommend you save your money as well.

  • Shani H.

As a native Illadelphian I can stamp this place. First thing you look for is the "sammich shop" using an Amoroso roll for the cheesesteaks? Yes this place does. Second, do they use cheese whiz? Yes they do. And the kicker for me is, do they have sweet peppers? Yup, yup. I always get the same thing. A chicken cheese steak with american, whiz, fried onions, sweet peppers, and ketchup. Every time. And every time its hot, fresh, and super tasty! I always call my order in and its always ready in 10 minutes. Check this place out!

I find it funny that PCF can manage to get into my building to put flyers under my door at least once a week but cannot enter the building to deliver food. Over an hour after ordering the food had not arrived. When it did the hot food was VERY cold, and salad was wilted. I won't order from them again. Very disappointing.

Having grown up in South Philly I figured I had to give this place a whirl. It is, I believe, the newest of a chain in DC with about 3-5 other locations, one being on M Street in Georgetown. POSITIVES: Good variety of appetizers and steak combination including chicken cheesesteak...large portions and varied toppings. NEGATIVES: Price! A cheesesteak at Geno's or Pat's in Philly goes for about 7.00 these days, a cheesesteak here will set you back bout 8 bucks, which is ridiculous. The sandwhiches are ok, not too greasey, have ample amount of steak, just be careful to note everything included as a topping ... call me old fashioned, but fired onions and cheese is all that should be on a cheesesteak...lettuce, tomato, green peper --- oh hell no. I guess I just miss saying, "Cheesesteak wit" but if you want a fix and can't make it to Philly this place is an ok substitute.

  • William A.

God I hope this isn't what a Philly Cheese Steak is suppose to taste like because if it is then the the reputation of a Cheese Steak is a myth. I got a cheese steak with mushrooms and fried onions using provolone cheese, yeah yeah yeah Ive heard all about people using whiz but even in Philly there is debate about using it so don't rag on me about using it, and it had to be the saltiest thing Ive ever tasted. It was all most inedible it was so salty. The only thing good about it was the roll. Nice tasty roll. Great I paid $7.00 for somewthing that tasted like a salt lick on a tasty roll.

Had an intoxicating need for a great PHILLY CHEESESTEAK while in DC so I researched and found this place. Went there and was treated with a gastronomical wonder that closely resembled the legendary CHEESESTEAK of Pat's in Philly. Took the CHEESESTEAK to my hotel in MD but my taste-buds couldn't help themselves. While driving towards my destination, temptation led me to peel the cover and take a small bite to satisfy that palette. Alas, that act was my mortal doom. Pretty soon, the entire CHEESESTEAK was gone and resting in the bottom of my acid filled sack. What to do now that its gone? I know, I'll pick the scrap which carelessly fell into my cup holder of the rental car and the passerby won't suspect a thing. Oh, what an experience you gave me PHILADELPHIA CHEESESTEAK FACTORY!

    (5)
  • Cassandria M.

The bread was soggy - could not stand up to the fillings. I specifically requested provolone on my cheese steak but was given white American instead, which caused an allergic reaction. Of course by the time a replacement sandwich arrives my fries (delicious) will be ice cold. By the way, I waited for 20 minutes and they are 2 minutes away. I guess once they had my money and a generous tip I was no longer important.

Here's my tip for all the Philadelphians complaining about this place not offering up sandwiches as good as the cheesesteaks back home: Any time you see a restaurant whose name includes the name of another city or state, the food will be a pale imitation of what that city is famous for. (Example: Austin Grill.) If you go to Philadelphia Cheesesteak Factory with that in mind, the experience won't be nearly as jarring. For those looking for a benchmark, the cheesesteaks here are better than Jerry's, not as good as Jersey Mike's. But, it's reasonably fast and reasonably priced. If you're driving east on Duke and need a quick sandwich, it's fine. I'm not even sure it's worth the difficult left-hand turn into the dinky parking lot if you're going west on Duke.

Great steak and cheese, reminds me of geno's in Philadelphia with the cheese wiz!

  • Aaron M.

Only problem was the bread, they really need to fix that, because the steak & cheese part are 4 starish, the bread is less quality than generic Giant/Safeway. May give it another whirl, maybe it was the end of the day and didnt have any fresh bread as it was falling apart as i ate and most of the recommendations i had gotten was based on the great bread. Generous portions of overflowing toppings, Could be great little whole in the wall as most of the menu including pizza is good good, just need to fix the bread.

Stopped in about 11 AM on a Saturday, tried the Ultimate Cheesesteak with a Diet Coke. Sandwich was OK, but I'm not quite sure where the "cheese" was. Steak seemed a bit on the dry side, and the portion seemed a bit small. Not outrageously small where I felt I was getting cheated or anything, but perhaps a bit skimpy. Service was quick and staff was courteous, as to be expected when you're one of two customers in the store at the time... Service = 3.5, Food = 2.5, Value = 2.5. Better than 2 stars but barely makes 3 stars in my book. Will I go back? Maybe to give them another chance, but I don't know that I would go out of my way to make a special trip here...

Used a Living Social delivery credit to try out this place last week. Cheesesteak was loaded with meat and cheese. Cheese fries were very mushy (had to throw them away they were so bad). Chocolate cake was delicious.

Had PCF for the first time tonight. We ordered the chicken cheesesteak and classic. The chicken cheesesteak was good (maybe 4 stars even) but the classic? The meat to cheese ratio, considering it's called a CHEESEsteak, just didn't do it for me. One slice of cheese does not a sandwich make. I thought that they were made with whiz, but I guess not?!

  • Jason M.

Living in Philadelphia for 26 years may make my review a bit bias; however, this place isn't too bad. The staff is friendly, and the food is prepared quickly. There is a large menu to choose from, but I typically order a plain cheesesteak and fries. The steaks are cooked right and the fries are served hot. This place doesn't compare to the Jim's and Steve's of Philadelphia, but I would take a cheesesteak from here any day over Pat's and Geno's in Philadelphia. The only knock I have against PCF is the sandwiches can be quite greasy, so by the time you get the sandwich home, the bread is soggy. I typically call in my order and then go and pick it up, and it is always ready in 10 minutes as they tell you on the phone.

    (3)
  • Maita B.

Decent food but they need to get their act together. I ordered from grubhub with my normal order, and the order was put in for pick up, not delivery. When I called PCF, the employee who answered the phone rambled on and on about reasons why food wasn't delivered instead of taking initiative and fixing the problem. Even after the delivery fiasco was finished, they still messed up my order. No compensation was offered for the hassle and once again the delivery driver went on about excuses. Very poor service for decent food.

Used to love this place, but had a bad experience recently. The guy Overloaded the sandwich with some kind of liquid and it came out soggy and terrible. The owner is nice and the prices are right, but it's kind of hit or miss. The quality of your sandwich depends on who makes it.

My boyfriend and I just tried this place, and we're hooked! I'd never really had a whole cheesesteak to myself, and I decided to get my first during a weekend trip to Philadelphia this weekend. We ate at South Philly's most famous (?), or should I say "hyped up" cheesesteak joint, Geno's, and we were sorely disappointed by the lack of flavor and crappy bread. Anywho, this is a review of PCF! He had the cheesesteak with american, raw onions, lettuce, mayo, and hot sauce. I had the chicken cheesesteak version of this, and, to me, it was Heaven on a hoagie. Staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt. The prices were reasonable, and the menu pretty extensive. We'll be sure to stop by this place again and again for the occasional less-than-super-healthy indulgence. ;)

Not authentic wit wiz but the sweet pepper steak has good flavor. If the onion rings were crispier they would be great. Fast service. Went back and tries the buffalo chicken hoagie. You cannot go wrong with fried chicken, buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. Well, you can go wrong, if you ate one regularly or semi-regularly or every once in a while if you do not take lipitor or other cholesterol fighting medication.

I had tried this place several years ago and wasn't too impressed. An instant Groupon came across for 1/2 off lunch so I decided to give it another try. They are definitely nothing special. Jerry's Subs and Pizza is much better. Not worth even half price.

Authentic winged insects flying around. Average customer service. I used my $20 for $10 Groupon. Chicken cheesesteak was pretty good. Cheese fries were a bit soggy though, and seating was scarce. Next time I go back, I will get it to go.

Was looking for a taste of Philly. Went with that expectation. I have gone twice. The key is to add the proper toppings. 2nd time around my cheesesteak was good w/ extra toppings. They have the Amorosa roll from Philly so this adds to original flavor. Bread gets a little chewy as I am sure the rolls are flash frozen. Not great but good. The fries are very average. If near one, give it a try.

The place had bug traps in the bathrooms! It is a dirty and greasy place. The cheese steak was okay, a little on the dry side. The manager was telling the other worker that he made doughy pizzas and the worker said he didn't care because the customer did not complain. Needless to say, I did not have any pizza.

To follow up with my previous comment about having items that you serve as part of your name (and those items better be outstanding), this place's cheesesteaks are pretty meh. They're good, but the pizza we got was better.

I'd have to say that if you really want a true Philly cheesesteak just make the trek, but, seeing as it is somewhat of a hike I guess this place may suffice. The bread and cheesesteak were pretty tasty but I felt a little let down with the fact that they used basically raw onions...who does that? I mean just at least grill the bad boys up with the meat right? After my detective skills discovered this mishap I simply removed the problem and enjoyed the remainder of the sandwich. As others have stated the price is a little heftier than what you would expect and don't really consider eating there (even with the free refills) much of an option but I'll definitely be swinging through again due to the fact that they are near my abode.

Overpriced, but good. I only order cheeseteaks O.G. fashion--cheese and onions and maybe some hot peppers on the side. I douse with ketchup while eating. The rolls were good! Close to the Philly/Jersey style--soft and devoid of any nutrition, with just the right amount of resistance when you bite into them. The steak was greasy, but it was done well. For the price the sandwich was small. Extra star for the neon "hoagies" sign.

Great place. This is a little hidden gem. I ordered a Chicken Cheesesteak and fries. My wife had a Cheesesteak Hoagie and fries. First let me say, I don't know if it is consistently like this, but the fries were on point. Some of the best fries I've had in some time. The sandwiches were good as well. And the great thing is they have online ordering capabilities. If there is one thing that I don't like, it's the fact that you have to pay for extra toppings like onions or peppers. At least it is not expensive so that at least makes up for it. That is a bit of a draw back but this is still a place I would come to. Definitely recommend this place for ones looking for good Cheesesteak without hitting 95 north.

I got the plain steak and provelone with no onions or peppers - it was great! They'll be really hot when you get it so be sure not to burn your mouth. It was great! Very filling too - you could easily split one and still be completely full. Total cost for drink and sandwich was 7 bucks. PROS: They have a soda fountain with free refills. The sandwich was warm and filling. The cheese to steak ratio was PERFECT! They had a few parking spaces in the little side lot. CONS: They didn't ask what type of cheese you want on the sandwich and I would have prefered NOT to have provelone (but it was still good). They had a counter to sit at, but no tables. Final Thought: I would go back if I wanted an A-OK cheesesteak.

Small place with about 5 stools for eat in so I stayed and enjoyed an excellent plain cheese-steak and Sunday afternoon NFL on the big tv . Certainly there will be a return trip.

Great pizza - lots of cheese and tastes wonderful. I have never had anything but the pizza, so I can't comment on anything else they make. The pizza is almost always hot when it arrives. Once in a while when they get busy delivery can take up to an hour, that is my only complaint, but that really isn't any worse than anywhere else.

Ever since Subway discontinued its chicken parmesan sandwich, I have all but stopped going to Subway and have been searching for a chicken parm sandwich that could compare. PCH failed miserably at even trying. While one might be inclined to cut PCH some slack by saying that they're a cheesesteak place, "so why would you bother straying from that part of the menu?", to me this is not good enough. If you're not going to give an item on the menu a serious effort, then leave it off. Here is what PCH's attempt at a chicken parmesan sandwich amounts to: 1) You take a deep fried chicken finger that looks like it has been frozen since the beginning of time, and you place it inside of a hoagie. 2) You then proceed to burn the hoagie, a bit of mozzarella cheese, and some kind of alleged tomato sauce such that every ingredient is visibly blackened in some way. 3) Throw all of these elements together just as you might expect a large dumptruck to absolutely murder the other uneaten chicken parmesan sandwiches from PCH as it drives over them at the local dump, and you get the idea. Yes. It was that bad. I literally could not take two bites out of this thing.

Wow. good and FAST. I ordered a hoagie with everything, fries and a drink. I paid, got my cup, filled it, and sat down on a stool expecting a ten minute wait. I mean, the place was pretty full! I had hardly sat down when the guy told me my food was up. And it was good! I will be going back.

What's not to like? Honestly- its a cheesesteak place! Its fast, yummy, cheap and filling. I sometimes stop here on my way home if I work late, to pick up cheesesteaks and fries(it's my hunny's favorite food!) They are pretty nice, although at 8:30 at night the teenage boys working in the back tend to stare at any girl that walks in the door. Plus- they customize your sandwich, just be careful, if you ask for a cheesesteak and don't specify, you might end up with all sorts of peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo!

I placed my order at 7:35 pm Sunday, 3/14/10 and received it at 8:55 pm. The entire order was cold...not room temperature, but cold! I ordered with a reasonable amount of time to allow for delivery, eat dinner, and make a 9:00pm conference call. Needless to say, I had to leave my dinner and get on the call. This was a terrible experience, my dinner should have been free, and I will most definitely tell all of my friends NOT to order here. I should have believed the other reviews I read about the crappy delivery service. Shame on me for giving them the benefit of the doubt. I have eaten here before and it was great. DO NOT get it delivered!!!!

Just like the others that have reviewed this PCF I'm stoked about its arrival in my area. There hours are great - open late to serve those of us who have a hankering for cheesesteak at 10 pm. The staff is friendly and will try to create any type of 'steak' you like. I would have to say that they need to cook their fries just a touch longer to make them more crispy. And the only major complaint i have about the cheesesteak themselves is that they don't use fresh peppers or mushrooms.... just the canned version. This tends to detract from the quality of your sandwich in the end. Parking is adequate but somewhat confusing. Do you park on the side with Dunkin Donuts or in the Meineke parking lot. I've never really figured out which side is really parking for the PCF. However this by no means stops me from getting my hands on a good cheesesteak. I typically do an order ahead scenario because there are only 6 to 8 bar stool type seats to eat your food. But if you do decide to eat in, make sure its during the evening rush hour so those sitting in their cars on Duke St. waiting to merge onto Telegraph / 495 can be envious.

It is truly a shame that people invest money in a business only to have their employees destroy it. Should have turned around when I noticed the cook was the same person I had seen on the parking lot chilling with his friends a few minutes before. Greedy or crazy? You decide. I don't know if he washed his hands and was stupid to trust he had. Got a chicken cheese steak and ended up hugging or running to the toilet all night. ugh...makes you want to eat at home 24/7. All I kept thinking was - he never washed his hands.

I've been there twice and both times the cheesesteaks were great and service was fast. As some of the others have posted it's not an "authentic" philly cheesesteak, but that being said I'd take one of these over Pats or Geno's any day.

This was the only 2 nd time I ordered food from PCF. First time the chicken cheesesteak was a log better. This time it was rather soggy. Same with the Stromboli. Last time was just right. This time i asked for extra cheese and thy never put cheese in top and even the strombolli was way too soggy. Rather difficult to eat and tasted bland.

I really don't see a need to give this place anything less than 5 stars. It's conveniently (or unconveniently if you're watching your weight) located directly across the street from my complex. I haven't had anything other than a standard chessesteak (with cheese wiz thank you) but gawd dammit that's all I need. Great quality for the price. It also gets an extra star because the manager there is cool as shit and they periodically give out free pizza slices while you're waiting for your food..

I know, I know this is a high rating for PCF but I'm so stoked to have this place just open down the street from my house (1 block). Plus they are open til 11pm Sunday through Thursday and midnight on Friday and Saturday. In my part Alexandria there isn't anything open this late Now this place offers great drunk food it's just to bad they aren't open as late as the Georgetown store. In fact I don't even need to be three sheets to the wind to enjoy their food. The sandwiches and pizza are made fesh in front of you and the prices are low and they give the customer free toppings on their subs, now that's cool. I will end by stating that they will be earning my hard earn money over a prolong period of time and of coarse their gift to me is heart disease on a bleach flour sub roll.
