this is now my regular place for Chinese delivery. i have no idea if it has a dining room - i have never been inside. there are several other places that will deliver to my house, but this one is consistently tasty and QUICK. I love the cashew nut chicken - great flavor (altho no veggies). the Kung Pao Chicken has the exact same consistency, but a completely different flavor - also excellent. The Chicken Chow Mein was good - although i'd forgotten that east coast chow mein is very different from west coast (no noodles!). the crab rangoon and cream cheese wonton are yummy. the egg rolls have a zesty kick to the seasoning inside. note - the hot n sour soup is heavy on the pepper. not bad, but not my favorite. the only thing i have not liked so far is the Orange Chicken -- it tasted too heavily of orange rind.

Delivery absolutely stunk today. Over an hour for soup, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls! Delivery distance is under a mile. It has been acceptable in the past but has been sliding downhill over the years. This is the worst. Never calling them again. Don't expect too much if you try them and don't say I didn't warn you.

This place has been around for ages, at least twenty to twenty-five years. Went back recently and I was not disappointed. The food was really tasty, the portions huge and it all came very quickly. What else can one ask for?

This was the worst Chinese delivery I've ever had. It took way too long to get my food and ALL of it was terrible. Worst egg roll I've ever had, the cheese wontons had a really weird unsettling taste to the point where I threw then out, and even the sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was 75% water. So disgusting. And they didn't even bring my soda. I would call to complain, but considering they could hardly understand my address, I figured it wasn't worth the trouble. Sigh. So disappointing.

I ordered delivery for the first time from this place today, because they had a "mock chicken with cashews" entree on their lunch menu. Finding meatless options is such a rarity and I can't be more grateful for their options at BG. I will definetely be eating here again. Thanks guys!

Got a menu in the mail and thought we'd try the delivery this evening. First, I ordered online and gave my credit card information ... and waited. And waited. And waited. After an hour, I called. They had never received my order. So I placed it then again. The food came about 40 minutes later. It was awful. The wonton soup was overcooked and the noodles were slimy and falling apart. The rest of what we ordered had little to no taste at all. Save your money and order from somewhere else!!

Ordered carryout many times (mostly Lo Mein with a hot sauce on the side), I was always satisfied. My only complaint is that they should give more napkins. Never tried delivery. Much better than Panda Express.

Divey dining interior, decent chow foon, snappy service, SPICY ma po tofu, obscene portions for the price. No egg rolls, only spring rolls, but they were fried proper so I can't complain. The lemon chicken, however, was a nightmare of dense, undercooked batter, but they give you a ton of it so if you want to commit suicide by chicken breast and undercooked batter, don't let me get in your way. They don't have an American food menu, but Chin's Kitchen down the street can hook you up for your steak & cheese fix. Kinda skanky little strip mall, sandwiched between two laundromats and a 7/11. About the worst you can say is that traffic around the neighborhood is a nightmare, so unless you live in the area, skip the carryout and opt for delivery.

Vegan-friendly menu. Food is a bit sweeter than at other Chinese places. General Tso's vegan "chicken" was tasty but perhaps a bit too sweet and not spicy enough. But my main reason for writing this review is the racial prejudice of the server. I asked for green tea and she served me black Lipton. I asked again if they had green tea. "Chinese tea," was the answer. "Is it green?" "Chinese tea, yes, it's green." "I would like green tea." She brought green tea, finally. I had the distinct impression she didn't serve me green tea initially because because my skin is white. Pretty irritating.

I've only had one dish here and would normally hold off on rating, but there aren't a ton of reviews posted, so I'll add my two cents. This place has a definite hole-in-the-wall character to it, a sort of homegrown charm if you will. Plenty of tables, but I was the only dine-in customer from 7:30 to 8 this particular Wednesday night. That was great, since I could pick my nose without anyone seeing. Not a place for a first date, or any date for that matter, but could be cool for hanging out with friends. And obviously they do takeout. I came here as a turnaround point for a bike trip; it's 1-2 miles off the Mt. Vernon trail about halfway. This place, with its extensive list of mock chicken dishes and use of vegetable oil, was listed as a good vegetarian-friendly restaurant in the area, and I'm always looking to try more of those. I had the sweet and sour mock chicken with a pot of green tea. It was simple, fresh, and tasty. Life-changing? No. But there are few Chinese restaurants I could immediately bike home from and still feel this good. That's gotta count for something. If you bike 12 miles to get here, you better be in it for the ride and scenery. Should you find yourself nearby though, Bamboo Garden's definitely worth a look, especially if you're in the mood for vegetarian. Their omni stuff is probably good too, but of course, I can't say.

We've been ordering from this place for several months now, and they are absolutely great. We've tried several different meals, and have yet to be really disappointed. They are usually pretty quick, and they have coupons for free food when you order a certain amount. I think they only have one person answering the phone, so sometimes it'll ring with no answer. Try a couple of times, and you're sure to get through.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
