Best diner of which no one's ever heard! We happened across Outlaw on the Albuquerque to Mountain Home leg of our cross country misadventure- and MAN am I glad we did. I had. The. Best. Pancakes. OF MY. LIFE. Seriously. SO... GOOD. I ordered the egg/hashbrown combo with pancakes as my choice. They aced my poached request, and got the outsides of the hashbrowns sufficiently crispy, as asked. My husband had the burger steak and eggs because- seriously, burger steak? Too random to pass up, and he was getting sick of pork after a few days at my aunt's house in Oklahoma. ;) It was a hamburger patty cooked up with a side of eggs. He chose toast and had a darn good sourdough. Our waiter proclaimed himself a stand-in for the usual waitress, and completely inexperienced... but he still was 10x better than the service I've (unfortunately) become accustomed to in Olympia. A+++. Wonderful.

The bar in picture is not at the outlaw cafe its located at 31 east main in Wellington at the Cowboy club. Where you get delicious food and awesome famous curly fries. If coming thur Wellington stop by look for the maroon awning and get homemade breakfast, lunch or.dinner. promise you won't leave hungry! ! Awesome food!!

3 stars because it's a decent place where there really isn't much of anything else. Interesting clientele when we were there...I had pancakes + hash browns and they were decent. Wife had chicken strips....not bad. Someone else said they were the best pancakes they've ever had. I would say mediocre. Nothing special, but they worked.

Great little Mom and Pop diner. This is our second visit on our route from Salt Lake City area heading SE. Make sure you stop on your scenic Rte 6 drive

I came here with a group of friends on our way to Colorado a few years ago . They had a great Reuben sandwitch, their clam chowder was REALLY good, and their bleu cheese dressing had generous chunks of bleu cheese. We were all so impressed we had to stop by on our way back. I'd love to come back sometime.

Don't get this restaurant confused with the Cowboy Cafe! No curleyfries or cool bar at this place. Mediocre food. Check out the indoor pool in the back where the restrooms and pay showers are located!

I'm a fan, but some of the enthusiasm in the other 4 reviews seems to be driven by the geographical context - i.e. the next best alternatives are pretty ... uh, non-existent. That said, we enjoyed our dinner here, when driving between Moab and Salt Lake City. First time to stop, and stopped because of the Yelp reviews. It is a diamond in the rough, and this little gem is nestled along Hwy 6 in Wellington, attached to an old school motor inn [with indoor pool no less!]. Waitress was efficient, super busy covering the 6 parties ... including our party of 6, and friendly. She circumspectly steered us to the philly cheese sandwiches. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. However, aside from being a bit spare on the meat ... though, certainly sufficient to make a good sandwich ... it was an excellent specimen. Kids had pasta, burgers, and other things, and liked 'em. Fries were good, as noted on other reviews. Inexpensive, too! It was a bit slow. But, again, we're in a part of the world where life is meant to be savored and enjoyed - not hastily devoured.
