This place is great. The food was very good with the right level of spice (hot is hot). The spring rolls were really good, hot crispy and not oily. The tom yum soup was very good with a lot of flavor. The service was very fast and the place was clean and comfortable.

The food was good and priced well. The waitress was lack luster and not very helpful.

If you love Thai food, this is the place to go! For appetizer, I ordered the Fresh Basil Rolls - YUM! Rice paper stuffed with vegetables, basil, carrot served with plum sauce. Very refreshing and tasty! My entree was the Green Curry & coconut milk with chicken, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, basil, chili, sweet peas, carrot and steamed jasmine rice. Sooo good! Clean and niceIy decorated, I highly recommend this new restaurant!

We were in the St. George UT area for a few days. We love Thai food and we wanted a good meal while there. At that time, the Royal Thai was new and there were no reviews. We decided to take a chance and went there. The meal was as good as any that we have encountered in our travels. The place is large and nicely decorated. The personnel there were very friendly. This place deserves to prosper.

Hated it. I'm 1/2 Thai so I'm pretty picky. Too Americanized for my taste.

We had a quick trip from Las Vegas so,why we're here, Good taste...better than many Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. I'm Thai so I know we can't expect real Thai in other country even in Thailand too. They also have good padthai, drunken noodle (y) (y) worth to try...

Very good Thai food! The service was great and pricing was just fine. Highly recommend stopping by! I had the drunken noodles and they were perfect!

Good taste! Drunken noodles were great! Had the special mango curry (red curry with mangos in it). Very good as well. Only complaint I had is that the curry was a little runny for my liking next time ill ask them to make it a little thicker based sauce. Will definitely go back again.

Love them for lunch. They have great lunch specials that really hit the spot. Dinner items are a bit pricey but the food is so good. Amazing Drunken Noodle, Lettuce Wraps and Fried Rice.

I dream of their Spicy Fried Rice.....The best ever. This restaurant is such a gem. If you enjoy Thai food and you haven't tried this place, you must do so immediately. The service is awesome and the restaurant is very clean. Another thing worth mentioning, I get the exact same experience every time, I love this....no surprises, just EXACTLY what I want!

Very clean and welcoming environment. Friendly and accommodating staff. Amazingly delicious food! We tried the basil spring rolls, soup, garlic chicken, and green curry and were very pleased with the flavor of everything. We will surely go back again and again!

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. I don't recommend this place at all. No smiles, rude reception. I took food to go. Red curry and fried rice. It was not good. I know what real thai food is. I called them and they said bring the food back and we will refund. I took food back, and they said we cannot refund since you ate some, Off course I had to eat some to come to a conclusion that food was bad. But it was few bites only and they literally wanted to count number of bites. So cheap. Hey its only 31 dollars. Who asks to bring food back by the way, I don't care for 31 dollars, I am not coming back to you or my friends who know what good reception and good food means. Learn how to do good customer service. I wasted so much time to drive back with the food just to find out that they cannot refund. Why didn't you tell me over the phone that you cannot refund. Very Poor service ????

Very nice take out Thai food and better than we get at home in Denver. I had the Thai basil shrimp and my wife had the drunken noodles. Both very well cooked and we will be back during our short vacation in the area.

They are a nice change from the other tai restaurant. I really liked their soups!

Been back twice, first time they told me they could not do my order (red curry salmon with brown rice) for dinner only lunch and offered another salmon dish (choo choo) that was awful.. The fish was dried out and more like you have to chew chew it like jerky. Today, I tried again to have my order and was told they would not do it. Ok fine. Never going back.

This is AMERICANIZED Thai food, it is NOT authentic (even though they have Thai employees). They don't even have fish sauce!! Really?! Thai cooking relies HEAVILY on fish sauce! The Pad Thai is sickeningly sweet and everything else is mediocre, but I will say that the Basil chicken dish was good. If you are non-Asian or are not accustomed to good/authentic Thai cuisine, you will like this place. My family is Vietnamese and we love Thai food. We did not love this place.

Update: This place was so good I decided to bring my wife here for dinner. Their dinner prices are much higher for the same dishes. Ok, fine. It's so good, I'll deal with it. The waitress literally handed us our menus and said, ready to order? No, we haven't even looked at the menu. Now, my wife is vegan and i am not, so it usually takes us a bit of arbitration to figure out what we can get individually and what we can share. We told her to give us about 5 minutes to figure it out. She kept coming back literally every 30 seconds annoyed and impatient with us that we hadn't decided yet. It wasn't even busy, there were only 2 tables filled. I asked her at one point if we could split the drunken noodle order because my wife is vegan and so I wanted meat on mine. She looked at my wife with a look of disgust and attempted to make an excuse why that wasn't possible. She treated me like I was an idiot for asking. Her behavior was extremely condescending and rude, so we got up and left. It's a damn shame that such a great place can have its image spoiled so quickly by one poor employee. I won't be back anytime soon.

A place is not only about food. I was really annoied about how the waitress was eager to take our order (we arrived 40 minutes before the restaurant closes). She asked more than 4 times, although we had our menus open and were clearly discussing. The food was good, but the 4 dishes we order were served in a gap of 10 minutes. We had no option but to eat each other's food, otherwise we would have to eat cold food. The waitress also attempted to clear our dishes while we were still eating. Really unpleasent.

I really like Royal Thai's lunch menu but feel the dinner menu is a little expensive for the value. All their curry is top notch and so is the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. I have found it is hit or miss on most of their other entrees.

I go here on my 30 minute lunch break and they make my food in 5 minutes and it's always good!

Food is good. Love the atmosphere. There is a really nice and sweet waitress. Another is more to the point. But over all great place to just sit and enjoy the food.

I don't know what the rave about this place is. Its mediocre at best. Got the seafood combination pad tai. The seafood was all imitation. It was gross. For $15 throw some real crab meat in there or something. Also ordered cashew chicken which wasnt bad. The egg rolls were good.

Living just a couple of miles away, Royal Thai is a frequent option for us, and we've had meals here ranging from a quick lunch special to large take-out orders and dining with several people at the restaurant. What you will get is high-quality, flavorful food in large portions, served by extremely friendly and accommodating staff, for very reasonable prices. In my experience, they run a little mild compared to most Thai places, so a "3" here would be like a "2" elsewhere. They do provide a condiment tray to add your own chili sauce, etc. It's tough to beat, whether it be an inexpensive lunch or a casual-nice dinner out.

This place is a gem. The Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and Drunken Noodles are a few of my faves. The Spring Rolls are an awesome app as well. The staff is always very sweet, and the prices are completely reasonable. I'd definitely recommend.

I am still eating here multiple times a week and I still love the food and service. They know how to package to-go food so it stays warm for an hour, no problem. I have a new favorite item on the menu, the spicy fried rice with chicken. It is awesome, but beware, it will put some hair on your chest (spicy). My only complaint right now are the coke glasses they use. They are actually milkshake glasses and don't hold hardly any coke, so if you drink a lot like me, you're always a little dry in there. Luckily I usually get my food to go. This place is still much better than Benja's btw

Delicious. Great iced coffee. Super delicious and better than any fancy drink from Starbucks. It's a sweet coffee.

My son has been begging to go here, so we tried it out for lunch today. We will be going back. My daughter ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. Son had the Thai Fried Rice with shrimp, and I had the Thai fried rice with mixed seafood. These were lunch specials at $6.95 for the first two dishes and $7.95 for mine. All three came with the soup of the day....a very lovely (and pretty) Thai chicken with rice noodle. We all loved the food. It was very good, well presented, and great for the price. The rest of the menu is fairly expensive, though. It is the lunches that are great prices. The decor is nice, and the bathrooms are spotless. The waitress? Someone else here used the word 'lackluster' and I think that nails it. Everything else was great and we will return, but the service from the waitress (who didn't know what the seafood was in the mixed seafood....and didn't want to go ask because she doesn't eat seafood, so she wouldn't know (what?!?))....was terrible. She needs training....a lot of it.

If the executioner asks you what you would like for your last meal, make sure you send the warden to Royal Thai Cuisine. We've had Thai food all over the world and after one bite, you know when you are eating royally good Thai food, pun intended. Thai food should create a flavor explosion in your mouth, and it is to be matched equally with spiciness creating a food nirvana, and Royal Thai does just that. The very first time we dined at Royal Thai, I tried the Pad Thai, and my wife tried the Drunken Noodle - stir fried flat rice noodles, choice of meat or veggie, egg, bell peppers, carrots, chile paste, onions, tomatoes, garlic and fresh basil leaves. It's delicious and we can't wait to try even more specialties - maybe even a salad - which not all Thai restaurants serve. Royal Thai has four (4) to choose from. Southern Utah needs to be grateful that such a fine Thai restaurant is in its midst. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is cheerful. I appreciate the fact that the music they are playing is from Thailand and not some tacky top 10 radio blasting overhead. The prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the food and the overall experience. Lunch special is weekdays only and they close from 3 to 4 to prepare for dinner. Enjoy!

Stopped in for lunch after having several people mention the place. Have to agree with the friends that have previously ate there that it was good and the lunch prices are reasonable and will defiantly go there again.

The food here is freakin amazing. I stopped in here because its close to work. I ordered the Drunken noodles and the egg rolls and I was blown away about how much food I got and it tasted amazing. The owner Johnny is pretty cool too.

Let me start by stating that I am a professional chef of more than two decades... To night my fiance and I visited Royal Thai Cuisine in St George for the explicit reason of trying Thai food other than Benja's. This place has the usual decor and general atmosphere. We ordered to go because it was late in the evening and we were just coming from a Christmas show. Upon inspecting their offering on the menu they appeared to have what can only be described as the usual and expected fare. The pricing was in the same general range as their competitor. We went in with the expectation of getting a genuinely good meal having heard from friends that it was above average. Not the case (so much for our friends advice)... We ordered the "Spicy basil shrimp, beef Panang curry, chicken fried rice and the chicken lettuce wraps. For the record that last mentioned item was their only saving grace and that came with a wedge of ice berg lettuce that was literally a "WEDGE" of lettuce good for God knows what. To begin with the "spicy basil shrimp" was a composition of watered down chili sauce with rubbery shrimp. The beef Panang curry was also a watery bath comprised of a minimal amount of coconut milk and Panang curry paste... And the beef? Where do I start? The beef was at best chuck steak which was tough and as dry as one could expect given the quality utilized in this dish. All told we spent $52.00 for what? The fried rice was $13.00! It amounted to frozen peas and carrots, dried out chicken and slivered onions. Oh yeah! AND IT WASN'T FRIED! It was more akin to steamed rice with the protein and vegetables thrown in to differentiate it from steamed rice. Lololol! I don't care if you use frozen vegetables and bottled sauces, but dam it make it a good and convincing product. This place is amateur hour and we just got had! RTC, you blew the first and only impression for this foodie. To the others who wrote in which such wondrous praise for this place you clearly have had no exposure to well made ethnic cuisines. It's actually not your fault. This is St George, UT and I need to remember that fact when I'm relating the good from bad.

Amazing food ! Amazing service! The owner even came by and chatted with us about tennis after our meal, so we are hooked. Best curry in town and the prices are better than other Thai places in town. Can't wait to come back.

4 stars for the best Thai iced tea I've ever had. It seems like a new restaurant in a new shopping center. The decor is modern, very nice and clean. The servers wear Thai style uniforms. My boyfriend, sister, her boyfriend and I came to eat here for the first time while visiting Utah at the suggestion of my sister who wanted to try it also. I had the chicken pad woon sen which was pretty tasty. My boyfriend had the tofu drunken noodle a.k.a. pad kee mow and he enjoyed it. The waitress was new and a little nervous but it was okay - she did a good job. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers. The owner or manager came out to take our orders and also help serve us our food. He was very nice and attentive and answered any questions/requests. I would go back for the Thai iced tea for sure!

Chairs were up and mopping was to smelly to eat in, an hour before closing, so I ordered a curry with vegetables to go. Only when I opened the meal 30 miles away did I discover they gave me chicken instead of vegetables. It didn't have herbs or greens of any sort, and it was quantity over quality, although the spices were good.

Great Thai food and I hail from a city with many excellent Thai restaurants. We tried this on the way back from a camping trip to Zion, Bryce, etc. This is about 10 minutes outside St. George and a great option for people passing through or lodging in this area. Because it's located in a corner building alongside some big box stores, it offers lots of free parking, and inside is pretty and inviting. Food is great: we particularly liked the Panang Curry, the (spicy) Papaya salad, Pad See-Ew, Ginger Shrimp, steamed dumplings and crispy tofu. Service was particularly good. Glad to see that it's getting attention as a wonderful choice for Thai food in the area. Good food, prices and services; recommend.

I ate here while on a hiking trip to Zion. I had a cup of their Tom Ka Gai and Massaman Curry with Pork. The curry was nicely spiced and the pork quite tender. The soup was quite nice, though the bamboo shoots had to be eaten around as they were quite woody. I would eat there again on another trip to Utah; the prices were nice and the service was excellent.
