Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

I used to go to the Iceberg in 3900th South and one in Draper, when I was a much younger person. The one I went to on State Street by the new Jordan High School was good. I was looking for a milk shake and that's what I got...a New York Cheesecake, mini size, which was more than one person should have. It was delicious and if it hadn't been, I'd been surprised. I will be going again.

Service was just weird. Awkward. The lady brought the ice cream for our kids meals out before our food. The store is filthy dirty and the bathrooms stink so bad that when anyone opened the door the whole place smelled. Not appetizing. The food was good and the lady took our ice cream back to the freezer, but honestly the environment made me nervous to eat my food.

The only place worse with service is Cafe Rio. I've never waited so long to get fast food. We're talking 20-25 mins to get two shakes. The staff looks visibly frustrated and clueless as they bumble around the kitchen trying to figure out which order is up next and who is fixing it. And this is how it is every time I go to the Sandy Iceberg.

If you are looking for a place to surprise out of town visitors, Iceberg would definitely be the place. Be sure record the looks on their face when you drop the "small" shake on the table. The stores are located throughout the valley, and this location seems to be newer with nicer interior, but parking seems limited at this store. Forget about all of their other food, they are mediocre at best. Shake should be your prime concern for visiting Iceberg. They are not the best one I had, but does the job good enough being close by. Flavor varies for everyone. The texture of the shake were the traditional type in form of soft ice cream unlike the liquidly type you get from MickyD, so you will have to eat with spoon instead of straw. I am usually good with anything involving peanut butter. Grasshopper is a good choice too. Service was better than a lot of fast food places. Overall, it was a great place to grab milk shake, and they open as late as 11 on weekend. Too bad they are closed on Sunday.

My girlfriend lives just up the street from here and they are open somewhat late. This means we end up here every once in a while for some burgers and shakes. This particular visit I got lucky. I ordered a double hickory burger, buffalo chips, and a shared a brownie shake with my girlfriend. A few seconds after ordering the cook came out and said my order would take a little bit longer because he didn't have any meat ready...take that as you will... I considered myself lucky because the burger tasted pretty good. The buffalo chips were fantastic and the shake was pretty good. No real complaints can come from me, it was a good meal and didn't cost an arm and a leg. The other times I've had shakes there they have been fantastic. As has been said, go for a regular for 30 cents more! I don't think I would go as far as to say this is a place that visitors must go to or anything like that, but it's a good little burger shop.

This was my first experience at iceberg. I have heard pretty good things about their shakes so I decided I should give it a shoot. I wasn't very impressed with the decor and the parking at this location wasn't great. The shakes were huge. I really can't complain about portion sizes cause I love ice cream/shakes. Sadly I have been cursed with being prone to getting brain freezes . The selection is quite intensive. I had the cookie n cream and it was great. Chunks of Oreos always makes any dessert epic. My friends that were with me also got food and we all shared a little bit. I wasn't impressed at all with the good. I don't recommend coming here for the food, stick with the shakes and you will always be happy with your order.

The milkshakes were huge and really delicious. It only costs .30 more to get the regular size vs. the mini and it's double the size, definitely worth it. They don't skimp on the milkshakes, a regular is more than enough for two people to share. We tried a variety of shakes, nutella, snickers, black raspberry malt. They were all really good, but the snickers was lacking on chunks of candy, so that was a bit disappointing. The nutella was by far the best and very rich. The place had good service and felt very divey, right out of the 50's. You can save 15% is you sign up for their VIP club.

Beside the kid rapping in the intercom while I was trying to order, this is a great place for monster shakes! They have a plethora of flavors! My new favorite is the Muddy Penguin! Sounds horrible but it is so tastey! Classic grasshopper is great, the Nutella Shake seems to die for. I usually don't eat the food (trying not to have a heart attack) ... But hot fries with a cool shake is a great Saturday night. The staff is young, but mostly they care, don't except much and you will be happy with them. Oh don't forget to sign up for their point card, you get BOGO shakes!!!

oh wow!!! if you're craving a major milk shake. This is the place. The portions here are huge for milk shakes. I got a mini and it was totally not a mini for a little kid. This could definitely feed two people. As for the food, I think it's a hit or miss. I'm not sure since I've only been here once late at night. I got the rodeo burger and fries. The rodeo burger consists of a regular burger with bacon, onion ring, and barbecue sauce added to it. Sounds good right. Well, it wasn't as good as I would think. The burger was actually smaller than it looked. The burger was kinda dry except for the center. This is due to the barbecue sauce not being evenly spread out. The outer perimeter of the burger was dry due to the onion ring not having sacue in it. The fries on the other hand were pretty good for a fast food place. My other gripe about this place is that the employees were cleaning and touching a dirty rag with their bare hands and preparing food at the same time as well as collecting money. I just think that a separate person should be preparing food or not cleaning and collecting dirty money at the same. I understand that it was late and almost closing time and they wanted to help each other to finish faster, but still. So, I ended up throwing most of my food away when I got home. So the low down: good for milk shakes and late night fast food. The not so good: burger was blah, possible contamination by not having designated duties. I think they actually should get a 2.5 stars

Good ice cream. Con: with customers still coming in they had all the chairs turned up on the tables except for one and were sweeping the store (including pulling the entry mats) 30 mins before closing. A little excessively eager to get out of there in my book... but hey it is a week night and I have worked a minimum wage job before ;)...

Went through drive-thru and got a burger, onion rings, & a drink. The burger was "okay" - pretty average The onion rings however fell apart upon touching them. I soon was eating onions without any breading whatsoever. I prefer onion rings with tasty breading on the outside. I was disappointed with my meal.

The regular is seriously gigantic. I was struggling to finish it. First time here so I'll be sure to update if my opinions change but it was a pleasant experience. I tried the grasshopper which was pretty good but didn't quite remind me of that tasty little cookie I love so much. I'm hoping next time my choice hits the spot and I'll definitely be going with a mini.

This review is strictly reflective of the shakes at Iceberg. I've not tried any other food there. The shake was one of the best I've ever had. It had the right consistency and the portions were very fair for the price. Can't wait to go there again!

  • Tori A.

My husband and I came here for ice cream and they did not let us down. We each ordered a regular shake, and I would call them more like "extra large." The shake contents overflowed the cup by a couple inches. I barely even made a dent in it the first night. It will probably take a couple days to finish this monster. I got brownie flavor that was great and the Hubs got orange, which tastes a lot like a creamsicle. Having an Iceberg so close to home could be dangerous for me!
