The last time I went in (about 1 month back) and had the egg foo young had lost it's appeal. The sauce which is normally a hoisin based was not the same it seemed to be switched to a standard brown sauce. This change made the egg foo young go from fantastic to just average. Unfortunate for them as this was the dish that made me go out of my way for them. Why do restaurants not learn that screwing with a recipe is a sure trail to lost regular customers??? Maybe the cook was just being lazy or something but I don't want chance it and pay the hefty "Chefs Special" price for just average... SOOO SAD! Not sure if they have screwed with the other items of mention General Tso's or the sizzling rice soup?

Wow! Really think that people from SLC don't know good food. Ordered take out here last night. Should've been a sign when I walked in and no one was in the restaurant. We ordered the hot and sour soup, egg foo young, cream cheese wong tongs, spring rolls, lemon chicken and fried rice. Got home and was looking forward to a good meal. This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had and yes, I have eaten at some of the best spots in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. Second worst Chinese spot I've hit here in SLC. Think I am going to wait and go out for a good meal that is worth my wait.

My wife and her dad found the ad for this place in the newspaper. They claim to have no MSG. It's a nice cozy restaurant to visit in Sandy. It's located in a little "forgotten," corner from my childhood. It's a little more expensive than your usual Chinese Food, but it is delicious and if it is possible to be healthier it atleast tastes healthier. Her favorite dish is "Shrimp and Vegetables." I believe they also deliver if you live close by. ENJOY!!! Please share a review if you try it out, in the BAY Area I never eat bad food because of active Yelpers, let's get that going here in SLC.

WORST Chinese food ever, I would say minus five stars. Such a waste of money, typically I order Chinese food once a week and have leftovers but I threw my order away after three bites. The noodles were soggy, the fried rice had absolutely no flavor, the pot stickers were soggy and did not have much flavor either. My food was cold even though the delivery was pretty fast. Overall there was very little flavor, I am pissed I spent so much money for disgusting food. I would not recommend this food to anyone.

Worst Chinese We have EVER had! (GAG) Well this was by far the biggest waste of $40 I have spent in years! The salt & pepper calamari was tasteless and like pure rubber, The chow-mien was a SOFT NOODLE & Bland, The pan fried pot stickers had the NASTIEST taste unlike any we have ever had. Based on reviews that I read I decided to try the fried tofu what a mistake that was! HORRIBLE! I called to complain & the woman who took my order now spoke a little less English than she did when I placed the order. She told me that dishes are made differently at every restaurant. Also that their chow mien is a soft noodle. No offer to correct this situation. I did advise that I would leave a review she said ok. Well we have probably tried most Chinese restaurants around Utah & that was the NASTIEST by far! Pot Stickers are a staple when we order & have NEVER had them about GAG us anywhere! STAY FAR AWAY! Well Unless you like throwing your money away on food so bad you wont even eat it!

My husband and I were in the area on a Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was empty, other than one couple. That should have been our red flag. The food was okay. Standard Americanized Chinese food. Within 15 minutes, I started to feel sick. I went in the bathroom. If I had seen the bathroom before I ordered, we absolutely would have walked out. If that was their version of clean, I fear for the condition of the kitchen that my food was cooked in.

I don't know what place the girl with the bad review was talking about. This is by far the best Chinese in the neighborhood. Compared to some places I have eaten including the major cities including authentic home made Chinese this is yummy for a good little local spot. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Their lunch specials are very affordable and everything I have tried has been extremely tasty. They are conveniently located nearby 2 movie theaters. They are the favorite restaurant of myself and a friend whenever we go out. I have frequently called in take out which is available quickly and is hot and fresh. I have never had an experience with them to mention as a negative.

This place is amazing! I work close by so it's convenient to order here, but they never let me down. Amazing food and the girl behind the register is always very friendly. They're super fast, and cheap for the amount of food you get. I'd recommend these guys to anyone.

This is my favorite Chinese food! I almost didn't want to write a review because it might become more crowded. But it really is delicious! My favorites are the General Tso and the cream cheese fried Won Tons! Mmmm!!!

Great delivery service, but food is bland and boring. Wasn't normally the type of Chinese place I'd try, but less common in UT chow fun was on the mailer menu, so I gave it a shot. It's no California chow fun. The other dish ordered was equally disappointing. Won't return. Bummer.

Not much to write home about. I think I can get better chinese from mcdonalds with their chili honey sauce and sweet and sour sauce mixed with their chicken mcnuggets lol. Serious this place has no flavor and for you all that say 5 stars have you eaten their or are u just another un helpful yelper that gives 5 stars to everyone. Yelp is a place that people go to get honest reviews on places so u putting 5 stars for everywhere doesnt help and your just letting people get misled and end up eating crap when they read its good then they no longer beleive yelp.

This is one of my favorite chinese places in Sandy. Their orange chicken is one of my favorite dishes. It can get a bit soggy, but that's all the more reason to eat it fast. I tried the sweet and sour shrimp recently and really enjoyed it as well. We've never had a bad experience here. We get delivery or pick up and never have to wait more than half an hour for food.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
