Went there on Tuesday night. First they told me they ran out of sprinkles, what ice cream place doesn't have sprinkles? Second, this place had no management presence at all. Everyone that works there is a teenager, they give off a we don't give a crap about the customer vibe. No one was wearing a uniform and the place was pretty dirty.

Years ago I vowed I would never go to this DQ when the counter girl insulted me for not believing in Jesus Christ the way she did. Yet, when I hear that it was under new ownership and I was in the neighborhood getting gas next door, I thought, heck I'll stop in and get some Buster Bars. I should have stayed away. Firstly, because the woman who appears to have been running the place was running back and forth yelling at everyone in a tone of voice that was annoying to the point of giving me a headache. Secondly, because the kid that helped me didn't seem to know where the product was that I ordered. I mean he really appeared stumped and without a clue. Thirdly, because the Buster Bars I ordered had just the smallest little hint - I mean about at thick as fruit leather - of hot fudge in the desert and only in one location. I thought it was supposed to resemble a Peanut Buster Parfait with layers at the top, the middle and top of hot fudge and peanuts (this is how I get them in other locations (except West Jordan). I won't be going back.

3 stars for the classic blizzard. Otherwise this location is gross. Pretty disappointing considering I was excited to take my daughter here for a treat. The lobby and amenities are so dated, old, and nasty looking that I didn't want to eat food here. This place looks like it needs to be sanitized from the ground up. The staff wasn't the friendliest either. But whatever, I suppose that's to be expected given the Great Depression atmosphere they're working in. But if you're going to have a tip jar at the register (seems weird for a fast food restaurant) then maybe be extra friendly. This was honestly the first time I've eaten Dairy Queen in at least 10yrs. Doubt I'll eat there again, I'd say at least at this location, but I have no idea where another one is in the salt lake valley.

I have to say this is the saddest Dairy Queen I have ever been in. The employs have no energy. They did not stay true the their word about if the blizzard is not served upside down or it is free. They said I had turn it upside down myself. I did not know I was suppose to serve myself. Should I make it too. This is a sad excuse for a DQ. I was really hoping to take one of my Clients I take out for a real treat... guess not... I hope this helps change things for the better because I am a fan of DQ, but this one is a downer.

This place had the slowest service I've had in years. The kids wanted to stop in on our way out of town and we waited 20 minutes for our food. When it did come the got the order wrong and we waited another 10 for the fix. My forgiving wife said "let's give them another shot" and we did only to have the same speed of service and poor communication. It seems like the place is staffed with socially challenged youth with very little to no training and no management. Pretty rough experience both times. Not a place to go to until they train the staff and get some management in place.

Not as good as it used to be. Slow service, the fries are too small now, the food is good (not bad, not great, just good). And they apparently can't take coupons unless they're printed out on some old thing called "paper." Weird.

I'm pretty sure this place is an after school club for misled youth, but with no leaders. No uniforms. Writing dirty stuff on tickets on the counter in front of customers. General disorganization and unkemptness. No apparent supervision. There is a little part under the counter that opens up, and used to be for people to go through. Now the top is covered with stuff, and the floor below? Also covered with stuff. Dirty napkins, general filth, obviously hasn't been swept in a very long time. So also not mopped. And what the hell is with the long stringy cherry stem business? (photo)

This has got to be one of the worst run restaurants ever, fast food or otherwise. There was NO management on property. Six teenage boys, no one older than 17, were running around like headless chickens. We had to have our son run in and tell them to take care of the drive-thru after waiting over five minutes (who knows how long the woman in front of us had been waiting). He returned, telling us there were like six guys just talking amongst themselves and ignoring not only the drive-thru but the customers inside as well. We placed our order and pulled around to find not only the car in front of us still there but a car ahead of who that had gone around more than five minutes before. When we pulled up to the window we could see one of our items already there, melting. Everyone working there was running to the window and reading the order tickets then running back, still not knowing what they were fixing. When the second of three items came up they handed us the melting Blizzard (which thankfully had a lid snapped on) and tried to hand us a dipped waffle CONE. We had ordered a dipped waffle BOWL. I told them that wasn't what we ordered and the kid walked around with the cone, melting in his hand, for more than two minutes trying to find someone to explain the order to him. Someone else finally came to the window and we explained again we ordered a bowl, not a cone. He then asked probably the stupidest thing anyone at an ICE CREAM establishment has ever said. "Do you want ice cream in the bowl?" I honestly don't want to give the place any stars but their rating needs to be brought down. There should be adult supervision at all times, let alone a manager always on duty. There wasn't even anyone to complain too. I don't even want to know the state of the healthiness of the food being served. If ever a place needed to be shut down, this is the one.

I've experienced much better. It seems like there are a bunch of 15 year olds running this store because I have yet to see one adult in I'd say 10 visits. We have come here for the monthly specials before and been told they don't have it (more than once). We have tried using deals like buy one get one free at the drive through and they wouldn't do it. The kids don't fill cups all the way or give you what you're paying for. I've always felt that whatever job you're doing you should do it well and I certainly don't get that vibe from this restaurant. I love Dairy Queen- excellent treat for a cheat day, but I am very disappointed that this is the closest franchise within miles.

My experience here (twice) has been with the drive through. I order a mocha moolatte and it is served in a timely and polite fashion. Also I've had this one in other DQ's and here they really know how to make a good one. I mean it is EXCELLENT!!! There is nothing like a well made Mocha MooLatte!!! :) Update: I went thru drive thru third time with a new person who I think didnt understand the order and they did not make it correctly. I emailed DQ to complain!

The owners at this location aren't mean, just efficient. There is a cultural difference between them and the average Utahn. I've been going there for over 12 years and have never had any mention of religion come up so I think is a none issue. The staff is mostly teens so you get what you pay for but overall I think the food is above average the staff is efficient and the owners are doing the best they can. Love this place on a hot afternoon.
