If zero stars was a choice, this place would get it. I have no idea how the shake I ordered tastes. After ordering @ 7:28 PM I decided since it was now 8:15 PM, maybe I should ask when will I get my order. They had no clue when it would be ready, nor did they seem to care. Don't waste you time, there is no reason that it should take more than 10-15 minutes to make a shake.

The food is the only positive thing I can say about this place. I had a burger that was pretty decent. Unfortunately the rest of the place was a pit. It was dirty, service was slow, there was a horrible loud banging noise coming from one of the fridges/freezers, they had tepid water sitting out in open pitchers on the counter to drink, and the fry sauce containers were disgusting that they had sitting out. I am all for fun places downtown but I will definitely not be going back to Zeek's.

Employees were incredibly nice and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the first timer with a peach cobbler shake! Can't go wrong! Also super cool chalk murals on the walls!

Great food, great vibes. Really cool employees, tried the Hugh Jackman burger and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was so great. Our group got a plethora of food, fries, and shakes. The burgers were amazing, and the French fries & fry sauce were good. The sweet potato fries left something wanting. They were soft, and chewy. We didn't care for them, (and we usually get sweet potato fries everywhere we go) so I would skip the sweet potato fries next time for Sure. They also have battered French fries. YEP. BATTERED. they were AMAZEBALLS. Extra crunchy, and extra bad for you. Everything you could ever want out of a fry. so that's what I would suggest when ordering fries. The battered fries and Hugh Jackman burger are the bees knees. All The shakes were delicious. I wish the peach cobbler shake had a more prominent peach flavor, slash, more peaches in general. It mostly tastes of vanilla with subtle hints of peach here and there. The shakes also took forever to come out, and they also forgot one of our shakes all together hwhich was sort of annoying, but we were also a big group, so I'm trying to be forgiving on that. Over all, great experience with great food. We will definitely be back next time we are in Utah.

Went here with some friends. The pie shakes are really good, the food was alright. It looks like a dump and one of the counters where people would normally sit was broken, so it felt a bit cramped.

Great service I recommend the King Charles Xavier, it is my new favorite burger. They were generous with the fries and the peach cobbler shake was tasty.

Ate here last night with a friend going to BYU Education week. The place was busy at 7 - 7:30 pm, folks mostly getting the shakes. We both got the Provo Burger and Coke. I have to say, the burger was close to perfect - nice thick, 1/3 lbs juicy patty, great bun that did not fall apart or flatten away at the end. Very tasty hit the spot. This hole in the wall establishment has been around probably since the 1960's - 70's so the atmosphere has some patina that I like. Expect a bit of old world charm to the place.

Great atmosphere and personality, not strong the food, but obviously a local classic.

The food was spectacular--I highly recommend Rod's Rad Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The shakes were delicious--especially that raspberry cheesecake one. The ambience was cool--exactly what we hip college students are looking for. Aaaaand the workers were attractive--I'd like to flirt with every last one. All in all, the place--with its new management--is EXACTLY the burger joint I want to eat at every week. Great for dates, great for friends, great to go alone.

Came here after my wife suggested trying a new place. Ordered the hugh jackman and the first timer. Both burgers were undercooked and the buns were very soggy as if they sat a while before they were given to us. The fries were also undercooked, they were almost raw potatoes. They were out of ice so we had warm sodas to wash down our undercooked burgers. The place looked dirty and unorganized. Will not be coming here again.

I'm kinda weird about the way food places look, and Zeek's could use some updates in the future, but honestly their food is REALLY a good. Like, where else can I go and get an actually piece of pie in a shake? The glut inside me gets real excited at the thought of some Zeek's. Also, pricing is pretty decent too. Win win for a college student.

First time there. We won't go back. Lunch time on a Saturday and they had one cook and one person working the register/helping make fries. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. Burger was pretty good but my sweet potato fries were burnt and gross and the regular fries were not good either. If you want a good burger, amazing fries and fast service go around the corner to Station 22.

A "hole in the wall" can go either way- a hidden treasure or a total dive. Unfortunately, rather than being quaint or cozy this place just seems run down. The fries were fresh and hot but the "famous" shakes are bland at best, thin vanilla soft serve with a negligible amount of pie mixed in; pretty disappointing actually considering that's their selling point. I really wanted to like this place for being unique but sadly I wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone.

So Zeeks is the former Sammys under new management. I won't go into the business drama of what happened with Sammys but the change could be for the better over the long run. Be aware that coupons and certificates for Sammys will not be honored, except for Groupon. I had purchased a restaurant.com certificate the day before and not accepted. Not necessarily Zeeks fault; part of the transition, though the owner could be more proactive online about it. I was not the only customer who hadn't known of the owner change. The real review: I wanted to give Zeeks a great review and I could change it another time, but it was overall just ok. The burger I had was very nice, except for a bit overcooked. The shake was tasty but no tastier than any other shake for $4.50. I admit we just got Strawberry and not a pie shake which the place is known for. My date got a grilled cheese with Ham which she said wasn't special. It was good, like a grilled cheese I coukd make at home but not unique. I would not recommend the sweet potato fries. They tasted blah. The regular ones tasted better but my date felt they were way too oily. They are more oily than other fries. Frustrations: It took us at least an hour to get in and out of here. There just before 6 on a Friday. We were order 68 and order 60 was there when we arrived. One guy was working and two more showed up while we were there. We had a 7pm movie and could have gone to a full restaurant with that much time. When I ordered I was a little bothered I couldn't upgrade a combo - pay a little more for sweet potato fries or get a larger shake as part of the combo. I was told I couldn't do the combo with sweet potato fries (even in paying the difference). It was set in stone, so I bought less and got the smaller shake and no soda (which costs next to nothing for them). That could hurt them over the long run with my bill being at least 10% less than it would have been. ($20 instead of $22). I wonder if that happens often. Our fries were forgotten and grilled cheese took 5 min extra over my burger (30 min wait as it was for the burger). The shake operations need to speed up. We got the shake about 6:45... Need a better system and/or more workers. My girlfriend was impressed with the single worker and his attitude and energy and left a tip but that doesn't make up for the delay. Everyone there received apologies and a smile. I would have felt more sincerity with some discount to come back, something more tangible than the smile. As the food overall was ok, and the wait was super long I'm likely not to rush back. I would like supporting a local place but they need to improve operations or I will be happy to stick to five guys. The burger market is highly saturated after all and there are too many choices.

Zeek's is awesome. Nothing lacking after the change in ownership. The food is exactly the style and quality that you'd expect from a local hole in the wall. It's not fancy, but it's unique and super super delicious. I love the fry sauce and sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and friendly. You feel like you're hanging out at a friends place. There's even chalk for writing on the walls. Definitely go check this place out, especially during a free rooftop concert or other downtown event. You'll feel like a part of Provo.

Burgers were great and the pie shakes are one of a kind. Couldn't be happier with my find today.
