We stayed in one of the log cabins. It was roomy, clean and quiet. Beds weren't the best and pillows were thin. Water pressure was good but hot water ran out pretty quickly. I think each cabin has its own small tank. Owner said restaurant is only open for dinner right now from 5-10pm. Based on previous reviews about whether or not the restaurant was open, we chose to eat in town. We didn't get to experience the restaurant or verify if it was open. We would stay again.

Do not go here! The big barbeque sign is a lie! The "limited" menu is brats or burgers grilled on a propane grill on the front patio of the "restaurant". The food was okay for a backyard BBQ with friends but not what I had expected from a restaurant. The soda my husband ordered was poured from a 2-liter. We would have been okay with this IF the bill didn't come to over $26. We ordered a brat and a burger. Chips were included. When we went to pay the bill we were informed it was cash only. There was no sign up front so we were blindsided. When we only had $20 in cash, one fellow seemed irritated that we were unaware of their inability to take a credit card. The fellow who had grilled our food said it was okay to just pay the $20 but it doesn't take away from the fact that we were over charged and stuck with being unable to pay the entire bill. The music was loud and inappropriate for the type of patrons at the establishment (there was a family with young girls eating with Lords of Acid style music playing in the background). I guess this place is under new management because our experience was nothing like what the other reviews suggested we'd have. No printed menu, grilling out on a patio (I'd be curious to know if there was a food handlers permit among the three folks working), and odd music choice for the clientele.

Even one star is too much. Very bad heated up breakfast with no taste. The worst breakfast we have had during our West Coast trip. Too expensive as well!

Came into Bryce but was sent back to Harold's cuz they had a vacancy. We get there and call and call and call. The phone was off the hook cuz we just got a busy signal. Door was wide open but no one ever showed up. Lost out on our business. Then we stop by the next afternoon on our way back into the park and this time the door locked and there was still no one in the office. Sign on the door says to call only if you need a room and the "OPEN" sign was on. Very disappointed.

Their Breakfast is Cheap and Big servings, The menu is limited to traditional breakfast fare such as eggs, bacon, potatoes and pancakes. you get 10% off your total if you stay at their motel. it was the best Breakfast on our trip. We didn't eat dinner there but the fare was traditional home-style food at a moderate price.

This review is for the inn. I had to review this place to tell people how horrible this place was. AND how rude the lady was. It started with a locked office with a sigh to go to restaurant to pick up your key. Very confusing. The restaurant had NO customer, but she was not in the office. WTF!! The distance between office and restaurant was not close, and it was really annoying to walk all the way to check in. Especially if you are tired by all day walking. The same thing happened when I check out. I had to walk all the way to the restaurant under the burning sun to just give the key. Stupid. I kindly suggested the lady to stay in the office while people are checking out, and she was like "there is a key drop box" which I NEVER heard when I checked in. Wow, very nice, I really need to thank her to telling me AFTER I walked all the way under the hot sun. Additionally, the room got this unpleasant smell, and it would not go away even if you open the room and change the air. The bed seemed like it got people's sweat... it was humid and almost wet... it felt gross. they need to do something about it. The internet was SUPER SLOW.. I had to wait almost 1 min-5 min to load every single page. or sometime it got no connection. Aware, due to the super thin wall and bad quality doors, whenever someone closed their door, it was really really loud. (they are not banging but you can hear everything) I woke up several time at the middle of the night and early in the morning because of that. There is no reason to go back there ever again. AVOID if you are thinking of staying there even a bit.

This place is a gem. Not sure why there's no listing for the Inn and cabins attached. The cabins are big, clean, and cheap, by the way, but I'm reviewing the restaurant here. I think this was the best dinner we had in Southeastern Utah, including the 5-to-6-times more expensive destination places outside of Zion. There's little or nothing in terms of a wine list, the decor is limited to chipboard ceiling, mounted deer head, and American flag, but someone in this place knows how to *cook*. Seriously - the trout was perfect & the pork chops sublime. Breakfast was lovely despite weakish coffee. Service stops early (8:30 PM I think) and it definitely doesn't feel luxurious, but there were hummingbirds at the window, the staff was genuinely friendly, and the food was fantastic. Cheap too. Go Harold's!

Solid 4 Stars for the fried chicken dinner, at $10. The dinner included 3 pieces of crispy chicken -- the coating was unlike any I have had before -- sweet carrots, a smallish potato, and a choice of soup or salad. The soup that day -- tomato-bacon-cheddar -- was delicious; my companions got the salad, which looked fairly ordinary. We are all big guys, and we were all very satisfied by the meal. Beer is also offered, including the Cutthroat Pale Ale from a Utah brewery. We didn't have room for dessert. The decor was log-cabin-y, but not in a pretentious or "precious" way. Rather, it fit the setting of the Bryce Canyon locale. Our waitress doubled as the manager of the cabins, and she had a really funny dry humor. We moved on, but our friends stayed in one of the on-site cabins. If you need lodging, the cabins are a better choice than the motel-style rooms also on the site.
