We stayed for 3 nights at the Red Brick Inn for a family reunion and it was amazing! Way better than the motels on Main Street. Peggy, the owner, is an amazing cook and was really cool about us lingering at the breakfast table chatting and drinking our coffee through the morning. We had a 6 month old with us who isn't a great sleeper, but our room was the perfect size for a travel crib and secluded enough that her cries didn't wake anyone else. The backyard of the inn is great with chickens, bird feeders, and lots of comfy places to hang out. Highly recommended.
Traveling through Utah put us in Panguitch for a night. I was fortunate to come across The Red Brick Inn while searching Yelp. Owner Peggy greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the house and a brief history, then allowed us to choose our room. We stayed in the Lazy B Ranch, a large room decorated in a cowboy theme. Our bathroom was across the hall and equipped with anything you might need. Another plus was a great collection of movies to watch while relaxing in the comfortable TV room. We were the only guests so had the run of the house. I was delighted to wander the house and check out the antiques, quilts and unique decor. The attention to detail throughout the house shows what a labor of love the B&B is. Peggy referred us to a terrific local restaurant (Cowboy Smokehouse) for dinner and made us a gourmet breakfast the next day. My only regret is that we were only there for one night.
This place is the bomb! As others have noted, the decor is somewhat historical with a touch of whimsy--perfect combination. Peggy, the innkeeper, is both affable and quite knowledgeable about the area--we got lots of great tips on where to go and what to do. And the breakfasts were absolutely delicious--I'm not a breakfast guy, but I loved these. I look forward to staying there again.

Don't let the exterior fool you, the pizza is great! I also love the cheese sticks with sauce.
When you roll into a middle of nowhere town, you've been driving for 4 hours, and this is the first place you see, and you're like, "Hunny how about pizza?" and he immediately makes a turn into the parking lot, welp - you've accepted your fate. C Stop Pizza & Deli - not sure what makes up the "deli" part, as I saw no deli when I entered. But here's what you need to know: decent pizzas, a pretty mediocre taste, but edible. Service was very congenial. If you're in Panguitch, I would recommend trying this place out, because hey, why not?
Extremely clean pizza joint and super friendly. I love how there was a kid, not teenager but an actual kid working the counter. Yummy pizza. The crust was soft, crisp, and flavorful. Perfect little pit stop on the way home.

So, they don't have a ton of nearby competition. I assume you're reading this because you're headed to Panguitch sometime soon while you're visiting Bryce Canyon. Yup, I've got you figured out. It's good barbeque. Nothing to write home about, but super, super solid, at least the night we went. Waited a while for a table, then had like total stellar, friendly service, super personable, maybe even a little much if you're not a people person (but, we are, so really just great). Full rack of ribs is, in my opinion, too much to eat, and I don't say that very often. Coleslaw was just mediocre. Bake beans are incredible. Salad was solid as well. Get ready to dish out a bit of cash. But, you're used to that. It's kinda the middle of nowhere... what do you really expect? No 5 stars, because, well, it's not that amazing, but a solid 4 for the area. More like a 3.5 if you're in the city with lots of options. Stay at Grandma's Cottages if you can! It's amazing! Thanks for listening!!
Came though here on a sight seeing tour of southern Utah. I'm Jewish so I always feel a little on edge in Utah, but the people here were really nice, I even saw a guy who served at one of the same posts as I did when I was in the army (although he now weighs 20 stone if he weighs a pound). The food was absolutely acceptable by "middle of no where" expectations. And best of all, my paramour was able to get a beer! As amazing as it seems, getting liquor in some parts of Utah is still kinda hard. I would give a 3.5 if I could. 4 stars for the service, 3 for the food.
My boyfriend and I hit up this place for lunch on our way to the Grand Canyon and liked it so much that we made sure to stop there again on the way back. I'm a fan of barbeque, and the food here is definitely done right. On our first visit, I got the ribs with pinto beans. The ribs had a great smoky flavor, and were fall off the bone tender. Their sauce added just enough sweetness to be really complementary. The pinto beans were nice and flavorful, with a generous amount of black pepper. You can't go wrong with that! My boyfriend got the cowboy cheesesteak and potato salad, both of which he enjoyed quite a bit. I'm super boring and ordered the same meal on our next visit, but my boyfriend got the smoked turkey sandwich, which he really liked (but not as much as the cheesesteak). Quality was just as good as the first visit. Our servers on both occasions were very friendly, and the prices were not too bad. I wish my lunch portions had been a little bigger, but that's mostly because I'm a glutton. I'm going to have to find an excuse to get back here.

We stayed in one of the log cabins. It was roomy, clean and quiet. Beds weren't the best and pillows were thin. Water pressure was good but hot water ran out pretty quickly. I think each cabin has its own small tank. Owner said restaurant is only open for dinner right now from 5-10pm. Based on previous reviews about whether or not the restaurant was open, we chose to eat in town. We didn't get to experience the restaurant or verify if it was open. We would stay again.
Do not go here! The big barbeque sign is a lie! The "limited" menu is brats or burgers grilled on a propane grill on the front patio of the "restaurant". The food was okay for a backyard BBQ with friends but not what I had expected from a restaurant. The soda my husband ordered was poured from a 2-liter. We would have been okay with this IF the bill didn't come to over $26. We ordered a brat and a burger. Chips were included. When we went to pay the bill we were informed it was cash only. There was no sign up front so we were blindsided. When we only had $20 in cash, one fellow seemed irritated that we were unaware of their inability to take a credit card. The fellow who had grilled our food said it was okay to just pay the $20 but it doesn't take away from the fact that we were over charged and stuck with being unable to pay the entire bill. The music was loud and inappropriate for the type of patrons at the establishment (there was a family with young girls eating with Lords of Acid style music playing in the background). I guess this place is under new management because our experience was nothing like what the other reviews suggested we'd have. No printed menu, grilling out on a patio (I'd be curious to know if there was a food handlers permit among the three folks working), and odd music choice for the clientele.
Even one star is too much. Very bad heated up breakfast with no taste. The worst breakfast we have had during our West Coast trip. Too expensive as well!
