Lucy’s New York Style Pizzeria Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

This one gets almost gets 5 stars for the value. On Tuesdays, they do 1.50 slices. And they're big slices! I got two and was plenty full. It's NY style pizza. The special is limited to like cheese, pepperoni and a special. They have a pretty great variety on their regular menu though. Solid pizza joint overall. Based on the pizza alone, it wouldn't be the first place that comes to mind, but for the deal, I'll be going back many a time.

Exactly what I imagine a margarita is supposed to taste like with the olive oil and garlic as the sauce! I also tried the meaty and supreme, and both were great. My new favorite pppizza around is that margarita with the garlic and olive oil.

Love their pizza, seems like they use legit cheeses and the crust is delicious! My husband loved the wings... Overall great, BUT I must say their ranch dressing is TERRIBLE! We are huge ranch-on-pizza people and were highly disappointed at something so simple. Everyone should know Utahans love their sauces. Simple fix, hope it changes soon! :)

My wife and I have been to Lucy's many times now since it opened, we mostly do take away since the service has been iffy. The pizza itself is absolutely fantastic the sauce is original and the ingredients are fresh, its also very cool that you can see the cooks preparing your pizza in the kitchen. The Bronx bomber adds another layer of crust that my wife loves. I stick with the original crust that is nice and thin. Great flavors are everywhere to be found here. I definitely recommend.

One thing Orem does not want for is chain restaurants. They're everywhere. I've been waiting for a pizza parlor to open in Orem that isn't a national brand, and we finally have one. Yes, their original location is in Idaho, but still, not a national brand. It's a solid pizza. Very tasty. The ingredients are fresh, and I was delighted to see they have artichokes as a topping (a personal plus). Service is okay, it's still coming along. They seemed a bit shorthanded, but everyone was very kind and I really didn't have a huge complaint. Decor is good. The crowd is, well, Orem, so you never lack for screaming kids. I'm waiting for the beer to come along next, because there are few things in life as good as hot pizza and cold beer. With any luck, they'll have that going before too long. Lucy's is great. I'll be heading back soon.

I am so happy that there is a pizza place that is really good in Utah Valley. I recommend this place to any pizza lovers. My only complaint is their ranch dressing is terrible and ruins the flavor of the pizza. I'm sure in time they will realize how important ranch is and will hopefully change it soon. If you don't care for ranch on your pizza then you are good to go.

This is quality pizza. I went on Tuesday for half price pizza and I was surprised by how good it was. I kept it pretty basic and just got pepperoni and olives on my slice. Some other pizza places are venturing out with creative toppings, but sometimes you just need a classic slice of new York style pepperoni pizza.

Tasty NY style pizza. Good salads and bread sticks. Will try the wings next time but the pie is good. Marinated olives and pickles were nice too. Overall good.

I probably eat here once a week. Hands down the best pizza around the Orem area if you are willing to deal with a some what slow service while dining in.

Lucys, I wanted to give ya four stars. The veggies were super-fresh, the environment sleek and stylish, and the portions generous. But the employee who took my order went straight from eating her lunch, to bringing food to a customer, to taking my cash, to picking up a coin on the floor, to serving my food, WITHOUT washing her hands at any point. Yuck! (Hey manager/owner: I visited Saturday 9/27/14, around 12:30pm, and the employee was a Caucasian female with blonde hair. Can you please help her better understand hygiene when working with food?) If you guys can fix the hand washing issue, this place will be a grand-slam out of the park. Thanks so much!

I've been here twice now and haven't been disappointed. Have had the margherita and the "supreme". both were awesome. Family I went with both had calzones and lived theirs. The ingredients are fresh, the dough is the closest I've seen to NY style pizza in Utah county, and service is always friendly. I don't know why some have complained about the service. I guess every body had an off day once in a while. But I've always received great service! Definitely coming back!

The pizza is really good; the best New York style I've found in Utah county. Everything is built with fresh ingredients, prepared well and with quick service. They have some unique desserts that all revolve around cheesecake and a good selection of subs. The restaurant staff are all friendly and do a good job taking care of customers. Prices are reasonable and the availability of gluten free options is encouraging. On the whole this would be a great place to take a date or pick up pizza for a night at home with family.

Seriously good pizza. In addition, the take out service and delivery service is excellent. Staff is friendly on the phone and when ordering at the counter. The Zestbian pizza is a bit unusual and I seriously love it! Great thin crust, crisp through the center (never soggy!) and delicious toppings. I would definitely recommend this for those who like New York style pizza. Lucy's is my new favorite pizza joint in the area. Price is very reasonable in my opinion. Better quality than many competitors and decent price for the size. I haven't eaten in the restaurant, but this is my go to pizza and I do take-out. I've had one salad, good romaine lettuce and a variety of antipasto toppings. Very yummy, but I definitely come here for the pizza.

Small fun joint. Pizza was good. Cheese bread is pretty good (not a must have). Service was awesome! Definitely try the flavor shots. Used a groupon deal so it was super cheap and there was enough for lunch the next day.

The pizza was so awesome, I tried the CCB and the Zestpian, both so yummy. The thing that makes it so bad is our server/customer service. She depended on her memory and after asking and forgetting everyone's drinks, what ONE sauce we wanted after checking on us four times and no result, it made it a pretty annoying experience. I would probably just do take out or delivery next time.

First of all, the pizza is delicious. The price is great. My coworkers and I have been there for lunch many times since it opened. But we won't be going back because of the service. Here's the low down on service: 1. It is extremely slow. Going to get a slice and soda for lunch is easily a 1+ hour endeavor. You will be seated quickly but the waiter disappears for 10-15 minutes. They'll come back and take your orders, and then disappear for another 10-15 minutes before bringing out drinks. Then there is another 15 minute wait to get your food. And don't forget to add on even more time if you need more napkins, utensils, or a drink refill. Finally, it takes another 15-20 minutes to get the check and pay. This wasn't a one-time occurrence - - it happens every single time we eat there. 2. They messed up swiping credit cards on more than one visit. One time they mixed up the cards and charged them to the wrong receipt. They tried to refund the wrong charges and charge the correct cards, but failed miserably. My coworker's card was double charged. This has happened on more than one occasion. 3. They entered the wrong tip amount. My friend ordered the Tuesday pizza special )($1.50 slice) plus a drink. We were in a hurry (after being there for over an hour) so we wanted to pay quickly. We paid and left. A few days later my friend noticed that Lucy's had charged her $15 dollars instead of $5. This happened to two different friends. This was the final straw and we wont' go back. My suggestion for Lucy's: 1. Get rid of the waiter system for lunch. Let customers order at the counter and give them a number. This will reduce the time it takes to eat lunch and increase your customer turnover. 2. Have slices ready to go around lunch time. Ordering the daily lunch special (2 slices of pizza) shouldn't be a 30-45 minute wait. You should have those warmed and ready to use. Again, this will reduce the time it takes to eat lunch and increase your customer turnover. 3. Keep your place clean. The floors need to be mopped regularly and tables need bused and wiped.

I love a good pizza place that week let me make my own pizza with ingredients I like. Few places give you the flexibility to get 1 pizza and do 1/2 and 1/2 of two specialty pizza's for those of us that can't make up our mind. Great taste and high quality pizza.

Nice little local pizza place. I stopped by for lunch while my car was being worked on at a nearby auto shop. I got a slice of pepperoni (they're big NY style slices), house salad, and a draft beer for less than $10. Complimentary dressed up olives and a pickle spear was a pleasant surprise. Friendly low-key environment. Staff was nice. Good ingredients and good food. Check it out.

Wow. Apparently customer service is hard for these guys. 15 minutes sitting at our table for lunch. Not one server talked to us. I don't care how good your pizza is if it takes me 1 hour to even order ONE SLICE. We walked out.

Pizza wasn't anything special, if anything it was only a small step above Domino's. I didn't care for the crust at all. The restaurant itself is pretty decent, seemed clean, the kids liked seeing the pizzas getting made. The service was slow, which was surprising as we were the only ones in the restaurant at 1:30 on a Saturday. All in all, it was okay, but nothing I'd probably go back to by my own will.

  • Amanda T.

My coworkers and I order delivery from here about once a week. Delivery is quick and the pizza is always fresh and tasty. We've tried the original NY crust (thin and foldable, but can get a little soggy) and their "Bronx" style (thicker, soft) and both are great.

The pizza looked delicious as it passed us to the other tables, unfortunately we never got to try it. On our part we came in fairly late, about 8:40 pm. However, we assured them we would be fast and ordered quickly. We waited 30 minutes for our pizzas until at 9:10 our waiter tells us our order was never put in the system. He told us unfortunately the kitchen was not going to make our pizzas, but if we wanted he could make them himself (no thanks). Our waiter was very disrespectful to the restaurant. He was clearly the one who did not put in our order but tried to blame it on the kitchen. We left hungry and frustrated with horrible service. I'm blaming the immature waiter, not the restaurant.

We brought our two young kids here early on a Saturday afternoon. The pizza was quite good, fresh ingredients, nice thin crust, hot and satisfying. The restaurant was very clean and has fun New York themed decor. But what really stood out was the family experience. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and kind to our kids. They provide fun whiteboards and dry erase markers for the kids, and partway through our wait, one of the pizza chefs came out with globs of real pizza dough for them to play with! The kids were delighted! We also loved watching them toss and roll the dough in the kitchen while we waited. Between the great pizza and the family atmosphere, we'll definitely be back.

New York style pizza is the king of all pizza. SORRY CHICAGO, but DEEP DISH is so WEIRD. I don't want a sauce pie. I really dont want much sauce to begin with. I want thin, enormous pizza with a crispy CRISPY crust. Lucy's fills my new york pizza sized hole in my heart (also probably plugs it up a little, amirite?). The pizza is fresh and delicious and hot off the press...er...oven? The slices are LARGE and BRIMMING WITH CHEESE and whatever else you put on it. The service was above average. I had a to-go order and I waited in the restaurant for about 10 minutes (which is worth the wait for fresh pizza, cheese sticks and cannolis). The pizza boxes are the best part. "Live free, pie hard" and George Washington wearing a "#1 dad" apron, flipping a pizza emblazoned on each box. I can't... I love it so much. I haven't had a bad pizza there, and their bread sticks are decent. The cannolis are adorable and so delicious and the perfect tiny size so you don't feel like a horribly disgusting person eating pizza AND cannoli's in one sitting. I LOooooOooVVVeeEEE you Lucy's.

Yet another delicious place I got to try because of Groupon! My husband's favorite food is pizza and there's only so much $5 Little Caesars a person can eat before they want to curl up in a ball and die. But, we have officially found our new go to authentic pizza place with Lucy's. I knew we were in for a treat when we got our appetizer - which was an actual brick of fried mozzarella cheese. I'm pretty sure I died from clogged arteries and went to Heaven with this delightfully fattening dish. My side salad was delicious (highly recommend the blue cheese!) The main act was even better than we were expecting. The pizza was huge and we took more than half of it home to continue with our fantastic dining experience the next day! If you're looking for a great pizza place that's not one of the "chain restaurants," look no further than Lucy's in Orem!

First time there, service was excellent! Kids da enjoyed the cheese pizza (kids halves pizza is half a med pizza) & wings. We tried the Zestbian 15" & one slice was fulling. The ranch bbq sauce was really good & jalapeños were fresh & they served beer which is rare in Utah County

We finally found a good, affordable, family friendly pizzeria. It was our first time and I picked Lucy's based on other positive comments on Yelp. It didn't disappoint. We loved everything about Lucy's. The pizza was great. Their sauce with simple and fresh. The crust was excellent too. Crispy on the outside, with just the right amount of chewiness. The house salad was good, and I highly recommend the cheese bread for an appetizer. The service was very friendly and accommodating, and our order was ready soon after placing it. Bonus points for their pizza box designs. We will definitely be back, most likely with friends.

Wow, this place was full of surprises for me. Surprise #1: this is a wait-to-be-seated, your-waitress-will-be-right-with-you type of establishment. For some reason, I was expecting to walk up to the counter and place my order. Not bad. Surprise #2: immediately after I placed my order, the waitress returned with a plate of pickle spears and spiced (?) black olives. Seriously, the olives are coated in two kinds of cheese plus red pepper flakes along with a couple other things... and they are yummy! Very nice. Surprise #3: the slices are HUGE. Their lunch special offers "two slices & a drink for $6.50." Okay, why not. I also ordered cheese sticks because they sounded good (and they were!), and the second she put the tray with my slices on the table, I knew there was NO way I'd be eating it all. The food was great, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and they sprinkle humor here and there as well. This is a great pizza restaurant and is certainly an excellent value for the price; my grand total with tax was $11.85 and it would have easily fed two people.

Lucy's Pizza is one of my new favorite restaurants. Authentic, new york style pizza and it's good. Really good. I came here because I am truly in love with pizza, and I was not disappointed. If you like thin crust new york style pizza, this place is definitely for you. Lucy's is very easy to get in an out of. Friendly staff, and a delicious variety of options, it is hard to beat this place. I ALWAYS start my meal with their cheese bread which is some of the best I have ever had. Covered in tons of melted cheese and a variety of herbs, dipped in marina sauce it is as good as it gets. In fact, sometimes I just order two of these for the table and get nothing else. The pizza is exactly as you would expect good new york pizza to taste like, plenty of flavor and cooked to perfection. I like that you can order slices throughout the entire day, and not just on the lunch hour. A good lunch here for me consists of cheese bread, and 1-2 slices of pizza. They usually have a pizza of the month or week or something, and that is usually what the slice offering consists of. I want everyone I know to come and try this place so they can become popular enough to stick around. I really like what they have going, and it is nice to take a break from places like nicolitalias and pizzeria 712. Come try the pizza, and please do not forget the cheese bread. You will not be disappointed.

If your thinking " I don't want to try a new place" or "I'll stick to what know." DO IT! Go here! Buffalo wings are amazing, cheese bread is great and the Zestbian pizza blew my mind.

I grew up eating at The Pie in Salt Lake City. That is what I compare all pizza to. Lucy's is so legit! I loved the NY style pizza, the cheesy bread, and the wings. Everything I ate there was absolutely delicious. I'm fat... trust me.

This is the only pizza place I've tried in Orem at this point so I'm comparing it to my favorite pizza anywhere. Honestly I'd like to give it a 3.5 or maybe even a 3.75, but yelp doesn't allow half stars sadly. The restaurant was very clean, which I think is important. They had good service and the pizza itself was really yummy. I love that they have GF crust, however it is quite a bit more expensive. I got the veggie pizza and it was so good that I ate the entire 12in GF pizza myself (which is way more pizza in one setting than I've had in years). The only downside was the price though. For 2 12in pizzas (1 GF) and a soda our total was about $28. However I'd much rather pay this price for better quality pizza than pay less money for a chain like pizza hut or dominos.

Not so great food combined with awful service. The saddest part is that it says "Voted best pizza in Idaho Falls 2011, 2012, 2013" or something like that, I feel so bad for the people of Idaho Falls if this is the best they get. We came in here after some disc golf at Scera Park and were ready to eat. After getting seated we didn't see the waitress for another 20 minutes. After she finally came back she hadn't brought our waters, so she just took our orders and promised to bring the drinks soon. We ordered a slice of pizza each, cheese sticks and the hot buffalo sticks. We were asked if we would like them to come before the pizza or during the pizza...neither happened. We got our pizza and it just wasn't exciting. Coming from Salt Lake where there are 4 or 5 awesome by the slice places I was expecting better. The pizza was okay, a good sized slice for three dollars, but again, nothing stood out about it. The Mountain Dew with flavor shots was great. Much better than the flavor shots you get from a gas station. I had the huckleberry and the watermelon, both were really, really good. The buffalo sticks didn't come out until it was too late. At this point we had been at what we thought would be a quick pizza place for over 45 minutes. We asked for them to go. I tried them in my car and was really disappointed. The first bites were okay, but after that the cheese had a very odd texture and just didn't taste good. I didn't even eat a fourth of them. I did notice that they have a $6.50 lunch special that includes a slice, drink and salad. I think that would be a good deal. The monthly slice flavor was BBQ chicken, which I'm honestly over eating at this point. I would like to see something more exciting like Pie Hole's potato and bacon pizza or any of the other flavor of the day slices that Pie Hole has. I really think that Orem could use some good pizza places in the style of Lucy's, but I don't think Lucy's does it for me. For what it's worth, my friend with me from New York enjoyed it a lot. The service was really, really awful and I don't think I've stated that enough in this review. I didn't get charged for the Mountain Dew though, so that was a plus!

There was a bit of a wait to be seated, though that wasn't it. Everything was okay until I read the menu and found there is a pizza with sour kraut. No, that wasn't the moment the killed it for me. Maybe it was when one of my party got a drink in his lap. There was an apology, but I think that a drenching should be followed up with a manager or an olive branch or something. I don't think it was the pizza. The pizza was fine. Meat pizza was mighty meaty. No, it was fine pizza in dolldrum wrappings. A plain place, and mediocre service. Acceptable if you're close and too lazy to venture further, but beyond that ... uninspired.

I ate here before with my husband and saw they have a side room. I decided after our first delicious meal that I wanted to have my birthday party there. It was awesome. The pizza was excellent. We went in the night before the party and got everything arranged to have pizza ready when guests arrived. Our server Nick arranged everything, and was so nice and easy to work with. They set aside a few things for us. They even set the place up with balloons and a card signed by the Lucy's crew. It was those kind of extra touches that made my evening special. I really felt like Nick and the manager were eager to please us. Every time I went in, asking questions about parties, etc. they were extremely helpful. They have some fun creative flavors. Try the fire sticks and the zestpian. I also really like their margherita pizza. They even made us something called a Lucy's Log for dessert that was basically a giant log of sweet, sugary goodness. I'll be back and feel like a regular at a home town pizzeria.

If you're going to put NY Pizza in your name, I suppose it's not out of line to compare it to NY. Shall we say, if Lucy's was transplanted to the West Village or Brooklyn it would be out of business post haste. But it's not in the West Village, it's in Orem. Here it's the best traditional pizza option. Pizzeria 712 is in a different style and class. Sometimes you want a neighborhood place to relax and have pizza and a beer. It's an American tradition that hasn't existed in Orem in the 28 years I've lived here. Growing up in Chicago, it was in every neighborhood. They initially deliver california olives with that powered parmesan cheese we all remember as kids. It also has olive oil, peppers and dried oregano on it. It doesn't do it for me. We left most of them. It looked like most other tables did too. We started with the Fried Mozz. It was a delight. After all the frozen, fried up little sticks, this was the real deal. The marinara sauce wasn't overly sweet and had good balance. This bode well. Then we ordered Pizza. We ordered the supreme. There was a LOT of very thinly sliced undercooked green peppers, onions, and california olives. After removing 75% of them, it helped. OTOH, that's what the picture shows, so I should not have been surprised. The pepperoni is that large, terrible, super thin, nearly flavorless, stuff you always seem to get outside the few cities that have a Pizza tradition. As soon as it arrived, the crust was nice. Very quickly oil separated from the mozzerella and the crust became soggy. Not in a good way. The crying, squealing kids, and loud tweens are to be expected. Considerate people and casual family restaurants in Orem never go hand in hand. So, in the end. Some highs and lows. We will be back. We really want a place like this. I assume they will work out the kinks. It's recently opened and probably hasn't had time to get everything right.

Enjoyable, bright atmosphere with really friendly servers and tasty New York style pizza. We come here every now and then for a taste of nostalgia when we are missing the city that never sleeps. The kids love the pickles and olives that come out before the meal and they are currently enjoying America's funniest home videos on the TV above the kitchen. Good place for family or a fun night out with friends. (There are a few beers on the menu if you want to have a lot of fun)
