This place was awesome! The fire pits in the patio seating were awesome!! If you sit on the west side of the patio you get a beautiful peak-a-boo view of the valley over smiths. Our wait time to get a pizza from the door was about 40 min Ina busy Saturday night (not too bad, especially because they have pitchers of beer that are reasonably priced that will make the time go by faster). My pizza was a "build your own" and came out exactly as ordered, friendly staff, no problems! I love the pie!

Best thin crust pizza west of NYC!!! By far the best pizza in Utah. No need to EVER ask for extra cheese, as they really heap it on. Their Italian sausage is SO good! And if you're one of those California Pizza Kitchen types that prefers weird unamerican pies such as artichokes, beets and salamander tails covered with goat cheese on a gluten free crust....well, they have that as well!

The cheese pull aparts are the best thing on the menu. If you're feeling adventurous, order your pizza with the apocalyp-dough...but have a glass of water close by.

It's amazing what a change of venue can do for a place. I've been a fan of the pie since the 80's, eating in a dingy, dark basement in Salt Lake near the University. "Travis, your Zappi is ready" barely audible over the guy playing guitar and the loud college voices. The food was ever so wonderful and was duplicated when they opened the Ogden location. But what was missing was the ambiance. The Pie in Ogden was built in an old Godfather's Pizza and it just couldn't get that good feeling. Que the new location!!!!!! Patio seating with outdoor firepits. Lots of big screens, open floor plan, and a vibe that reminds me of what an Indie pizza place should be. No corporate BS, no 15 pieces of flair, no "I've been in this place 100 times before all over the country." They nailed it. A classic sketch of Belushi on the wall, the reference to the local skiing, and just an overall good feeling about a place. It matters, it really does. As for the food, it is still one of the best pizzas in Ogden. They've added a take out area to make it easier and have lots of menu options to make everyone in the party happy. Good beer and soda selection, and a choice of seating that just plain kicks ass. Tables for small parties, booths that will hold all of your friends, and a patio designed to enhance the mood while keeping the bugs out. Nice job Pie! Now lets go get that Zappi ready.

This is probably my all-time favorite pizza place. Well, the SLC U of U campus location is my favorite, but this place has the same food and almost as awesome of an atmosphere. The pizza is phenomenal. It's not too pricy, and they pile the toppings (which are all delicious and fresh) high. The Wiseguy is amazing and pretty unique. The Buffalo Ranch Chicken Pizza rocks my socks. Their appetizers are great too, from what I've tried. Simply put, this is one of my favorite places to go with friends. We can split a pie or two and have a great time. Good music, great food, good service, what more can you need from a pizza joint?

I never seem to get tired of pizza, and the Pie Pizzeria is one of my favorites! The pizza is magnifico! I love the new location, and the decor is great! It's very unique and you can tell this is a pizza joint in Utah! Most importantly, the food is delicious! Such a unique and diverse range of selections, toppings, and it is all so good! You do pay a premium over most pizza chains, but the quality is superior and there are always leftovers to have for another time! My only complaint is the pizza is pretty greasy and messy. But that's also the beauty of it ;)

Went to the new location of the Ogden Pie. The seating indoors was nearly the same capacity as the old bldg, but there was an enclosed patio area with fire pit burning with a lot more space for larger groups. We arrived before the big lunch crowd so our food came out fast. We ordered two medium pizzas with toppings that we each liked. I always get mushroom pineapple and my husband gets sausage chicken. They use fresh mushrooms which is a plus. Canned mushrooms are my pet peeve. The pizza is always good here and we had a large takeout box with the leftovers. They gave us sharpees to write on the wall to carry on the tradition of the old place. We made sure to leave our mark. The disappointing thing we noticed was that they didn't move the pinball machine to the new bldg. We always played when we ate there. Also, we noted the third level of the parking lot is the closest to the door, and will be sure to park there next time.

Their new location has a great atmosphere. You can choose to sit indoors or on their patio thing. Very spacious. Great place for groups, dates, or even group dates. The specialty pizzas are delicious! Some of their huge takeout pizzas are pretty greasy (some people like that) but they fill you up! Get yourself a chug of root beer and have yourself a pie pizzeria pizza today!

The pie combo, definitely get the pie combo! Place looked kind of old- reminded me of an old run down Pizza Hut, but perhaps better pizza?

My last review was for the spot behind the Chevron and I suppose this kind of arguably still is, but is now packed back a bit. New location is about 4X the size of the old place, but just as choice. Walls are currently mostly unmarred, so make it there and make your mark! There is a very nice patio that I also dove in on, but this is much more like your classical pizza joint than the sort of tiny charm and ambiance the old joint had, which itself was a bit tiny, but overall a pretty cool spot. This one could still use some help in the drinks department, but it is a lot more restauranty...it's a solid upgrade in space and despite it being a lot different, it is the equal to the other place inside. Again, lovely kickass pizza, by far the hallmark of the place is in its consistent quality and that is again present here. A lot of the video games and other stuff from the old place are long gone, but many of the decorations made their way as well. Bathrooms here are spacious and immaculate. A wholesome change overall and if you haven't yet been, I highly recommend it!

This place is so good!! The buffalo chicken pizza is to die for tastes just like hot wings! We got pepperoni too. It was good but it had about 1/2 inch of cheese. On top of the pepperoni. Overall it's delicious

Who can not like the Pie?! This place is amazing. Awesome new location. Still the same delicious pizzas, salads, and of course the cheesie pull aparts. We love the Mountain of Meat with green olives. Mmmmm. For those wondering if this is really that good, I'll stop you right there and tell you, no, it's even better than that good. It's AMAZING!!! Their culture is one of the highlights, friendly staff that you know enjoy their job. Management is always on top of things. If you need it they will provide. Enjoy!!!

Pizza was good but not the service . I ordered a large chicken be pizza to split between friends and when we paid the bill someone wrote in their own tip . Wow really ? That's stealing. I get text alerts when from my bank so buying a pizza and writing in your own tip bc you felt out tip wasn't good enough is still stealing . Not only did we tip with a card but we tipped cash and left it at the table bc we all thought the pizza was awesome . I feel like the guys working here are sketchy and if I do come back, I'm paying with cash. On a better note- they do have sriracha sauce which I love bc I put it on everything but it's still a major let down with writing in your own tip and giving yourself a 40% tip . Wow .

The chicken bacon ranch pizza is the best. My whole family loves eating at The Pie. They have something for everyone from cheeses pull apart, XL pizza you name it they have it. They cater to vegetarian and gluten free. The gluten free pizza and cheeses bread sticks are the best I have found. They blow lucky slice out of the water!!

We drove from Phoenix to Idaho and out son said we needed to make a small detour to come eat here. I am sure glad we did! Food was amazing, and the people that worked here were too. Super helpful and patient, they took the time to explain all the menu and were genuine with us...loved it!!!

Great pizzas! Their 23 inch pizza is great for parties! It's MASSIVE! Makes a definite impression that you're at a good party. Their dining area is pretty nice. Laid back atmosphere. very convenient location next to Weber State University.

If you're looking for a fun pizza place with great pizza, this is the place to go in Ogden. Being next door to Weber University there is always a crowed here, but that is part of the fun. With my girls being gluten free, they can make every pizza with gluten free crust. Nice outdoor seating too!

  • Mike S.

Food is ok. A bit way to over priced for what you get. Customer service seriously needs an overhaul... Especially for management. New location is super nice. But, it's still a pizza joint. That being said, I'd go back if the employees were able to stop being so uptight and take that stick out of their butt.

I love the large variety of toppings. Their largest pizza with all the toppings feeds my entire family of nine! I've never been disappointed getting pizza from here. It can be pricey though.

Same awesome food, way awesome-er location! The excellence of the pizza at The Pie has never been in question. The yearly Best In State - as well as other - awards say it all. What certainly **was** questionable was their old location, a dilapidated former Godfather's Pizza building. Parking was abysmal, seating was limited, and waiting space was nearly non-existent. The brand new location (half a block south) is phenomenal. Open, airy, and plenty of space (at least twice as large as the old location if you include the huge enclosed patio), with a nice contemporary urban vibe. Gone is the cattle chute ordering aisle, and there is now proper waiting space for takeout orders. Parking is no longer a problem. The issues of the old facility often kept me from eating at The Pie but those issues are now just a bad memory. Kudos to The Pie for the design of their new building. For The Pie newcomers, be warned: this is some seriously hearty pizza. You won't be able to eat as much as you think you will! (Bonus: more leftovers for lunch the next day!) Tony's will always have a special place in my heart, but The (New) Pie is now my favorite Ogden-area pizza eatery.

The reigning king of Utah Pizza, usually I go for a Hawaiian or good OL' Pepperoni, the cheese is piled, the toppings are fresh and also piled and the crust is THICK, this is not a pizza for the faint of heart. The new location is still quaint but spacious and offers a great view over Ogden. This is one of the top 5 pizza's I've ever had outside NY and def the best in Utah.

  • Josh M.

After a previous issue was resolved, I can safely say that this pizza is quality. The new location is spacious, and the patio is a nice addition. If you like a doughier crust and lots of cheese, this is your place. Lots of options and friendly staff. It's counter service, which seems to work well for them. I'd recommend if you're around and hungry. Try the cheese pull-a-part for a hearty appetizer before your pie arrives.

As far as pizza goes, most of their pizzas are extra extra saucy, and cheesy (not in the best way). Although, their Thai chicken pizza is freakin AMAZING! And their salads definitely give you the bang for your buck. I am addicted to their ranch, and the cheesy bread is out of this world also.

My favorite pizza place in Ut. Tons of cheese and lots of great flavor. You can smell the garlic a mile away. We had the pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and it was fantastic. Fun college vibe with good music playing. They did sell pitchers of beer as well which accompanied the pizza well. We also got the loaded cheddar cheese bread and it was great. Our friends had the veggie pizza and it looked amazing. The waitstaff was pleasant. We basically walked up to the counter, ordered and they called our name when it was ready. Loves it!

My all time favorite pizza! Best pizza ever! I have always loved the pie. Have many good memories at the original location up by the U. If you are craving pizza this will definitely hit the spot. They also have beer to go with it. I even worked for the pie when I was younger and I still eat there all the time. And even as good as the food is, it is also very reasonably priced. Most locals know all of this but if you are new to the area go get some pizza!

Loved the pie, beer and location. The crust (ordered the mushroom one) was great and there was no shortage of cheese. Lots of space indoor and out, with a heated patio. The service was good, especially given that it was a crazy Friday night.

Very surprised by the food. I thought it would have been better then I tasted after reading the reviews. The crust is WAY thin in the center but it has a huge crust. The meat toppings are under the cheese...I know that is preference but the toppings slide out more that way. Very greasy way too much cheese for the thin crust. If it was more of a Chicago type pizza crust it would have made sense. The cheese pull a part bread was dry...guess why...no cheese on top?!?! After eating that then the pizza why not ? Very strange.

Good pizza, cold beverages and pinball. Those are the things I think of when I think of the Ogden Pie Pizzeria. The wife and I like to go and order a small pizza, play some pinball and have a beer in a nice atmosphere. We order the small because with the thick crust and all the toppings even a small is too much for the two of us to consume in one sitting. Went back again and tried something new, the Vesuvius Calzone, I guess I will stick with the awesome pizza. This Calzone is basically spaghetti & meatballs in a Calzone. The problems for me were not enough meatballs and a sauce that is way to sweet for my taste. It was a very large portion at a reasonable price but not right for me

Even though it's kind of pricey, it's well worth it. Love the breadsticks! We made our own vegan pizza there. Sun tomatoes, artichokes, basil, cilantro, olives, mushrooms.... We had to stop adding things because it was getting expensive. But was so worth it. My husband loved their Hawaiian pizza and Stromboli. I just can't get over their crust! So good. Love this place. I came here for lunch with two locals, and they recommended the lunch special. They told me the special consists of a slice of pizza, salad, and drink. I was a bit skeptical because I'm pretty good at eating more than just one slice of pizza. Okay so I'm very good at it. I ordered it anyway. Although there was almost no one in the place, it took a while to receive my order. But when I did, out came a decent-sized salad and a huge mountain of a slice of pizza. I ordered it with pepperoni, olives, and jalapenos. It was excellent and constituted a meal worthy of a road warrior. It made me feel complete. Whole again. This a very casual place, where you order off the menu hanging up on the wall and take a seat until they call your number. It can take a while for them to do that, but call it they will. I think I'd come here once in a while if I lived in the area. Not too many places you can get a single slice of pizza and call it a meal.

    (3)
  • Lyndon B.

The pizza was served hot and fast. Online it looked like you could get a thinner crust but this option wasn't available for pizza by the slice. The price was great and I got full off of two slices. The atmosphere is also great. I will come back

We have been here many times and I have yet to review it but we have always had a great experience here. But on our latest visit......we ordered and sat at the table with our drinks and they brought out my salad. Just when I was asking my girl if she would like some my foot added pressure to the table base which jolted toward her which in turn tipped my beer over creating a domino effect and hitting hers making it do the same. Needless to say beer was everywhere not to mention her purse. The staff was more than helpful in attending to us helping clean up the disaster area. We moved to the next table and I believe she is the manager there brought us two fresh beers. Never a sigh or a frown, no glares she was just pleasant and courteous which made an uncomfortable situation bearable. For that alone it's 5 stars!! Cheers

After the raving reviews I heard from a few this was a disappointment. We ordered the gigantic pizza and it was just overloaded with cheese. I felt like I was eating a heated up mozzarella cheese stick. Also, pepperoni was under the cheese instead of on top. I know this may be a personal preference but when you have that much cheese the pepperoni seems basically uncooked. There were seven of us and no one really cared for it so it wasn't just me. We had left overs and they weren't any better the next day.

I'm not exactly sure of what it was that I had, my roommate ordered the pizza for the house, being a fairly new resident to the Ogden area (and a huge pizza fan) I was extremely curious as to how this experience was going to play out. All I know about the pizza, was that there was lamb on it, and the ranch sauce that came with it was absolutely cosmic, that's right, cosmic, I just metaphorized ranch sauce to something on a galactic level, stop for a 10 seconds, and contemplate, that someone, literally, just compared the greatness of ranch sauce to the magnitude of the cosmos. Or better yet, just go to Pie Pizzeria and indulge your curious taste buds, dip your tasting stick into the pouch of awesomeness that is Pie Pizzeria and their ranch sauce. This is an urgent message I'm sending out to the rest of mankind. Eat. This. Pizza.

Try the "Wise Guy"! This is the kind of food that will take years off your life and will have you laughing at reason, while you blissfully consume this mixture of pure glutinous joy. Top this off with the hot cookie dough ice-cream in a skillet thing-a-ma-bob and you may be in Heaven tonight. ;) Tip: So good you will need a nap when you are done.

Went to The Pie for my birthday. Took an hour and 15 minutes to get 2 pizzas. Worst pizza I have ever tasted in my life!!!! Crust was not cooked through and very doughy! Dough also seemed extremely over proofed and tasted strongly of yeast. Sauce was sour and all toppings and cheese fell off each piece in to a huddled mass of grease! Quite upset about the large chunk of change I dropped on such a nauseating meal. I will never go back and I would not recommend it to anyone I know!!!!

I'll never understand why this place has such a devoted following. I was not impressed with their pizza... there is wayyyy too much cheese. I honestly couldn't even taste anything else. If I wanted to eat a block of mozzarella, I could just do that at home.

As a senior, I look back at my college experience and marvel at its beauty. It has fun, and it has dissonance. It has boredom, and it has excitement. It has parties, and it has studies, though the studying is not as proportionate as it should have been. There has been a wonderful continuity throughout my life as a student, and I'd like to thank them today. Nothing has brought me through more stress, to more guys nights out, to more late-night irresponsible dietary decisions than this, The Pie Pizzeria. In every college town, there's a legendary spot where people go to eat, get drunk, watch or game, or really do anything but go home. Luckily for Weber State, The Pie Pizzeria is in the Ivy League of college eats. Anyone who hasn't been to The Pie and has attended WSU for more than five minutes is not a true Wildcat, regardless of whatever their bell tower kissing ritual says. I've made out with a pizza. That's good enough for me. To say that the pizza is good is like saying that Michael Jordan is good at basketball. It's not just inaccurate; it's downright offensive. The fact that they're local makes them all the more easy to love. In case you don't know, here is a quick primer to refer to for pizza education. PIZZA 1010: I love pizza, so I'll be writing about it frequently. There are many genres of pizza, but I find that most fall within three veins of thought . . . New York style: A wide, thin pie that you can fold if you so desire. Emphasis here is on the sauce, which is rich and flavorful. Toppings are used carefully and sparingly, as they detract from the pie. Chicago style: This style is all about what you put in the pie. Whether it's stuffed into the pizza or a deep dish, it's all about the toppings, which are usually buried under four pounds of cheese. Neapolitan: Being Italian by ancestry, I appreciate the Neapolitan's authentic style. While fresh produce graces the pie, the focus of this style is on the crust. The dough has very specific requirements to be considered authentic. The odd thing about The Pie Pizzeria is that they seem to have a blend of all three. The sauce is the feature item, but the crust is not neglected, offering a wonderful tag team of flavor and texture. Many critics would complain about the generous amounts of cheese, but I would turn them back to the Chicago style of making pizza, as they often layer their toppings under, over and through the cheese. Simply put, this is the trinity of pizzas: the three in one. But The Pie isn't content on stopping there. While the traditional pizza is still their forte, they churn out white pies (all-white cheese and sauce pizza), Thai pies and a pleasant surprise of an Oktoberfest pie, all to phenomenal success. How you can take apples, sauerkraut, sausage and mustard and make them work on pizza is beyond me, but they did. And it was tasty. As strong as their pizza is, the local favorite is crowned upon the cheese pull-aparts. Parmesan, romano and garlic are peppered across the top of a pizza shell, filled with molten mozzarella. Dipped in their garlic ranch, no food stands a chance in competition, especially not in the collegiate league. When (not if) you go, keep in mind that the best control in your pizza-tasting experiment is a cheese pizza. You'll have opportunities to go crazy later, but you want something you can compare. My favorite pie is a simple cheese and spinach, or the Wise Guy. My wife's is the spinach chicken alfredo. We both prefer the cheese pull-aparts. Regardless what you choose, The Pie will fill your heart with more than cholesterol. If you're like me, it will offer some of your fondest college memories. I had my bachelor party over an Oktoberfest pizza, washed down with a pint of root beer. I've helped patch broken hearts with garlic ranch. I've shared a heart-shaped pizza with my wife days before we got married. I guess what I'm trying to say is that The Pie has served as a wonderful venue for pizza-themed memory-making, and I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on it. So go and eat, and be happy.

Oh.My.God. The pizza is delicious, so fresh, so cheesy, its like a brick in your stomach, in a good way. Hungover? this is the pizza for you.

  • C F.

Super greasy pizza. That's all there is to say about this place. People tend to like the pizza because they load up on ingredients but that also comes with a quart of oil for some reason. There are lots of choices but when you can actually see the cheese sliding off the pizza because of it then it's time to leave.

We always get delivery, so I can't speak for what the experience is like inside the bricks-mortar place. We've tried just about every pizza delivery place in Ogden. Is this the best pizza on earth? Nah. Is it the best pizza in Ogden? Most likely. Is it the best pizza in Ogden that will show up at your door fresh, hot, quickly, and with unfailingly polite service from call to the delivery person saying "thank you"? Yes! Some folks say they use too much cheese. Hmm...yeah, maybe. They'll put on less if you ask. The ingredients are fresh, good quality, and generous, especially the vegetable toppings. The crust is flavorful and doesn't sog out, and the red sauce isn't sweet like at some places. The sandwiches are pretty good, too. I was sad to see the spinach salad taken off the menu. If I have a complaint about the food it's that the ranch garlic sauce and the seasoned chicken are just too salty, which goes to extremes when you order them on the same pizza.

You can't eat pizza in Utah without comparing it to The Pie! My favorite part of any pizza is the crust and this type is my favorite..kind of like a chewy artisan bread yummo! I'm not a "pepperoni" kind of girl and so I usually get the chicken and broccoli alfredo. The white sauce is great and something about lightly charred broccoli brings a smile to face. The price is a little higher than Pizza Hut but not only are they heftier helpings but it's by far better. Try the local beers while you watch the game! Polygamy Porter or a Provo Girl being my personal favorites.

I'm not a major pizza fan, but this place is good. It's decent pizza and soda. I don't love the atmosphere. I may not love it, but I go here every once in awhile. The salads are decent.

The Pie is an enigma, as its reputation far exceeds its results, which is pizza that should be harvested for its excess oil, rather then for its taste. The crust is good not great, and the amazing quantities of oil that ooze from every slice leads one to contemplate selling The Pie Pizza on the Chicago Commodities Exchange as Utah Crude rather then as a food. I am not buying the hype anymore! You want honest to goodness GREAT pizza....head to Piccolo Bros.

So while the Pie is not the best pizza I have ever eaten in America, I do happen to grab a slice every time I travel to Ogden. There are all types of pizza's to choose from and some are far better than others, but the best thing to get are the cheese pull-a-parts. This is the only college bar O-town has and is a place that many of us know fondly because of it.

This is the best pizza in Ogden and probably the state.. If you want to cheap pizza there's always pizza hut - if you want "wow", this is your place. If you like NY style order the thin crust. If you like awesome yeast'y bread, go with the normal crust. Even their homemade Italian dressing is awesome. The atmosphere is fun and the folks that work there seem to really like their customers.

If mountain style pizza pie is your thing, then this is your place. The pizza is tasty and the crust is very good. Good enough that when you are finished eating the topping covered portion you have a crust that you can cover in honey for dessert! The atmosphere is fun and the prices are good. I can understand how this place would be a favorite for the local college kids.

Not sure if things have changed since I went to WSU a few years back, but I remember, of the 2 times I had their pizza, they were very VERY greasy. Greasy cheese is usuallly a sign of cheap cheese which reflected on the flavor. They have good variety, some look quite tastey, but the excessive grease drove me away.

  • Rob W.

The Pie is better than big chain pizza, but nothing particularly special. I tried the BBQ Chicken Cilantro with thin crust. It was ok, if a touch bland. Disappointingly, their thin crust is about as thin as a Cabbage Patch doll after a 3 month KFC binge. About as greasy too. In short, The Pie is a good choice if you're looking for a good ol' fashioned basic heart-stopping pie as opposed to gourmet 'pizze' drizzled with aioli and imported saffron flowers.

The Pie knows how to load a pizza knee deep in ingredients and cheese. This is heart-attack-chest-pounding good American style pizza that Chris Farley would have both lampooned and complimented in those old SNL Chee-cah-go Bearsssz skits. The pie will raise your cholesterol, plug that hungry hole your gut, and lighten your wallet just a bit too much for what it is. Yes, it is as irrational as pi to adore the Pie, so, but you just gotta salute a pizzeria where, in one bite, you can relive the smells, tastes and memories of the best of your pizza-filled-college-party days. But for the sake of your heart and colon, do try to stop after a slice or two worth of bites, okay? (And don't miss out on getting some of the cheese pull-a-parts to go along with your beer-and-pie, too.)

I am in love with The Pie. I love their pizza. Pabst on Tap woot woot! I love the cheese they use and their sauce. I love the environment and all the signatures on the walls. Pie Pizzeria why do you do what you do to me?? I'm so in love!

I have to agree with JD H. This place is quite overrated. The pizza, while better than Domino's, is average and overpriced. I think the atmosphere is obnoxious and it makes waiting 45 minutes for pizza feel like an eternity. I appreciate the beer and pizza selection, but I'd rather head down to Pizza Runner and pick up a 12 pack.

The Pie makes the Best Pizza I have ever eaten. Keep up all the good work.. cheesy, saucy, delicious! The only problem I have is the addiction and craving..prices are very reasonable especially for the size and quality. I have lived in 7 different states throughout the country from west to east and this particular pizza is the best I have ever had. 5 stars

I think this is the best pizza in Utah. This is the good stuff. You will pay a lot more for this pizza than others but it is worth it. ENJOY!

If you are with a group of 3 or more the cheese pull a part is a MUST order. You table will gobble it right up and it is the most affordable item on the menu. I'd skip the wings cause they are too pricey. I'm greatful that they finally added a decent big screen but I wouldn't rely on going to the Pie to watch a sporting event. The Pie piles on the cheese so plan on being stuffed after. I like the specialty pizzas with chicken and I usually add tabasco pepperoni. Jakes Over the Top right above makes a good spot to grab a dessert after a visit to The Pie. The Pie is family friendly and has a nice heated patio and a few video games/pinball. Expect to spend around $18 for a med specialty pizza and 2 drinks. They are open late on weekends which is plus. I am docking a star for the raised beer prices when the Pie used to be a great spot to get affordable pitchers. My rec hoops team used to always go to the Pie after just for the affordable beer. Now it is as much as going to a club. Also docked a star cause once we went for a Jazz playoff game and the manager would not put on the audio to the game over the PA system. When I asked he game me some spiel about they are not allowed too. . Use you damn mind buddy. Your place is full of people watching the game and your marquee outside says "Come watch Jazz playoffs here." You can put the terrible butt rock you normally play on hold for 2 hours

The Pie's pizza will appeal to you if you like a lot of gooey cheese on a wonder bread crust. Give it accolades and call it pizza if you like. But for something closer to the real thing in Ogden check out Zucca brick oven pies or Lucky Slice's slices.

I've only ever had the pizza here. And for a year or so, I had been trying to decide between The Pie, and Tony's. And... I go with Tony's. The pie is great for those times that I am craving pizza and Tony's is closed. The hours at the Pie go late, which is nice, but my opinion of the pizza is there's too much crust.

My favorite pizza on earth, bar none. The amount of cheese they use is insane. I visit Ogden once a year, and make about three or four visits to this place during each visit. This is, no doubt, not good for my health.

BBQ Chicken Pizza smothered with fresh mozzarella, smoked gouda, and a sprinkling of cilantro? YES PLEASE. Garlic toast covered in more cheese than you can shake a stick at? Roger that. Fast delivery, piping hot goods, and way reasonable prices? That's affirmative, Ghostrider. The one con - yes, as some reviewers have mentioned, the crust can get a little floppy. But remember - it's floppy because it's loaded down with delicious fresh ingredients. I'm willing to make that trade. Look, just do yourself a favor and get a piece of The Pie while you're in Utah. You will regret it if you don't. It was delicious when wolfed down in my hotel room; I can only imagine how incredible it would be when nomm'ed after a hard day on the slopes. Why are you still reading this, GO ORDER SOME PIE!

Not a huge fan of the sporty atmosphere but I was happy to find out that they deliver and impressed when the friendly delivery guy remembered my silly daughter on his second trip (two months later) and was nice to her. Good pizza too with a variety of unique toppings.

I've eaten at a lot of the "great" pizzerias in the country and this by far is the best pizza I've ever had. I will say, that I'm a west coaster, so the Chicago style and NY style pizza doesn't impress me. The pizza at the Pie is actually really inexpensive compared to Domino's or Pizza Hut, since you eat less of this pizza. The quality is amazing. They pile on the cheese and toppings and use fresh toppings. I've had their specialty pizzas and although they are good, they aren't my favorite. I prefer just to order the toppings I want. They have great breadsticks too!! I'll never order pizza from anywhere but the Pie!!!

Just came from pigging out here. It was one of the few places open later on a Sunday than everywhere else. I saw the reviews and had to come for myself since I'm staying overnight in Ogden. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza (so i can compare to others that I've had) and a local Hefewiesen to drink. The beer was excellent, they had 3 or 4 local brews to choose from and a few other big names (Blue Moon, Guinness...). The pizza was good. Nice thick crust, lots of chicken, LOTS of cheese, a little too much cheese for me, but if you like that, then this is the place for you. I ordered a 12" and i could only eat half, and it was a little pricey, 16 bucks for my pizza and a beer. Overall the quality was great, minus the cheese. haha. PS. the decor of the place is pretty cool, Webster State crazy, big screen tv, and you can write stuff on the brick walls, so bring a sharpie of whiteout pen! Will definitely eat there again if im out in the area. Boom goes the dynamite

The best pizza in Ogden! This place's pizza is no secret if you happen to live in Ogden, but for anyone just passing through this is the place to check out. Their house combinations are great and they make both thin and thick pizzas. They got beers and even microbrew root beer on tap. Thank you Jake for taking us there!

Probably one of THE best pizzas ever. Nice thick crusts and heaping of toppings. The only reason it's not a 5 star for me is it is pretty dang pricey for pizza. Enjoyed the Pie for over 20 years now since their days in SLC, and was stoked when the put one in up here in Ogden. Definitely a must have for any pizza lover.

after having horrible pizza the day before in Norco (on a road trip) it was a pleasant change to have pizza here. this place is pretty tucked away but worth the hunt. they REALLY pile on the toppings and cheese! i think they also put garlic IN the crust. the seating inside and out is nice as well and the service is above average. not sure what it would take to get that 5th star from me. in San Diego we're spoiled with great NY style pizza and a couple decent Chicago style places. i think i have a hard time giving a 5th star to pizza that is just "regular" pizza even if the quality is exceptional. would definitely eat her again if i was in the area.
