My husband and I went for our Anniversary. Our server, Michelle, was very excellent. She was friendly, knowledgable, and courteous. I had prime rib which was so delicious it was mouth watering. Grilled corn on the cob that was perfect, jalapeño shooters that were delicious. Plus, I had a black and blue margarita that screamed summer! Loved it!

This was our first visit. The staff is friendly and informative. The restaurant is clean, music not too loud. My steak came out too cooked and they insisted on getting another. I would come here again.

Went this weekend on our 4th visit. Friendly waiter, great service. Food was better than the last visit, months ago. We only go there for super special occasions and the food never spoils a special time. We'll be back. Good enough, we left a $40 tip. Keep it up Longhorn!

You cannot go wrong with longhorn steak house. I always order peach iced tea. The best tea i ever tasted. Pleasant atmosphere, great service, and perfect medium rare steak! Me and my husband usually order porterhouse dinner for 2, and it is delicious. The waiter mix the homemade steak sauce in a little pot with a heated rock in the bottom at the table. I just love it. I still don't know why my husband choose A1 instead ;(

We were at this restaurant on July 21,2014. We had to wait a long time for a table . There were lots of dirty tables all around the restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food, but the food was good when it actually arrived. It just seemed there was total confusion among the staff , and a lack of training in the restaurant. Pass this place up, unless you have a lot of time to waste ...

Went there for my birthday yesterday and had the worst experience ever, we waited an hour and a half just to get seated for a party of 10 (also we called the morning of to reserve) and the only reason we got seated was because my loving S/O spoke to the manager and the manager was super rude and ended up splitting up our group when the large table for groups sat empty the whole time... Not to mention our service was just awful! We spent well over $900 dollars there and was treated like crap! We will NOT be going back!...

Took my family in for dinner last night everything was perfect. My kids were treated like people and not talked over or about but talked to by the waitress Shawna who never had us wait for anything the glasses were always full and everything was cleared as it was empty. The food came out perfectly. Could not have asked for a better night can't wait to go back again.

Regular wait time at 6 pm on a Friday night (20-30 min). Crazy irregular wait times after we ordered (30-40 minutes for just the two of us). The food: Longhorn Burger-very bland and plain. Salad-nothing special. Parmesan Chicken-2 large breasts with excellent flavor, very delicious. Macaroni and Cheese: Awesome first bite or two but the abundance of salt takes over and it gets real hard to finish. Strawberry lemonade: Wonderful and tasted like real strawberries without artificial flavoring. Appetizer Bread-Nothing special. Service: Knowledgable and professional, hard to find and very busy. Overrall: High end pricing for hit and miss flavoring, not recommended to anyone on a budget. Unless some changes are made or the prices drop to reflect the quality of the restaurant Money is better spent elsewhere.

Had a GREAT experience at lunch here yesterday. Service was top notch and above expectations. Hawaiian Steak was great! French Onion soup was best I've ever had. Decor is a bit cheesy, but not garish so you can ignore it.

Phenomenal food and service. The waitress (Tammy) and manager (Angel) were both very accommodating and personable. I will definitely come back!

Heard bad reviews, decided to try anyway. Reviews were dead wrong. Server Ben was super nice, thorough and informed. Filet steak melted in my mouth. Sides were scrumptious. Macaroni is not like macaroni, it's heavenly. Will definitely be back.

Longhorn steak house just opened in Ogden on Monday of this week, it was a new build in front of the Newgate mall. We went for lunch on Saturday, there was a pretty good crowd but not too busy. We started with the Firecracker Chicken Wraps (we got a coupon for a free appetizer by joining their club online). They were pretty good, a slightly spicy cheese sauce with bits of chicken wrapped in wonton wrappers and fried, laying on what looked to be a lettuce and tomato salad and they came with avocado dipping sauce. Two of us ordered a lunch 1/2 Sandwich with soup, both of us got the sliced prime rib. I got the baked potato soup it was good but not anything special, my mom got the shrimp and lobster soup and was quite impressed. The Prime rib sandwich was very tasty, plenty of meat for half a sandwich, all and all these were good lunches for a reasonable price ($8). The wife ordered the Rancher Sirloin, a sirloin with bacon and egg, which she ordered medium. She got a medium rare which was good enough, the egg was overcooked so the yolk had set but otherwise the steak was good. Her side was the sweet potato bites, basically sweet potato tater tots in a very sweet sauce, ok but she probably will not order again. As I mentioned they just opened earlier this week so service was spotty, I assume it will get better. We had to ask a couple of times for silverware, they brought out bread but only 3 slices and never came back with the second helping they promised but otherwise OK.

I know this is just a chain steakhouse but I've been here 3 times in the past 6 months and can't say it has ever been a terrible experience. The price can rack up kind of quick but the flavor profile is very good and some of their alcoholic drinks are delicious. I believe I was seated by the General Manager last time I was there and the small talk and hospitality before my meal was a pleasant surprise. I will be going here again.

Surprisingly the best filet I have had at a steak house, even when compared to top-dollar establishments. That alone will keep me coming back.

We called ahead to be put on call ahead list. was told there was a ton of seating, so didn't need to be on the list. 10 minutes later, we arrive and end up waiting 10 minutes due to wait time. The hostess didn't smile anytime she talked to anyone..she seemed pretty put out to be there. Then as we were led to our table we learned we were expected to set our own table. Plates and silverware were stacked on our menus. My medium-well steak was closer to medium-rare. This was our 3rd visit and were very disappointed because the other 2 were great. But, considering the amount of money we spent...we felt that we should have been treated better.

Travel the U.S. and eat out often. First time to the property and very good service from Corey. Had a little problem with one of the items and manager Angel made it better than right. The food was superb and I will be back.

*Disclaimer: This is a long review because we tried so many things! We had an absolutely fantastic dinner experience last night at Longhorn Steakhouse on Wall in Ogden. The manager and his staff we very warm and welcoming and did a fantastic job with our group. Appetizers came out first and we tried some of everything... * Fried green tomatoes... I'm not a tomato fan, but i tried these and they were good. Others in my group loved them along with the dipping sauce. * Wild West Shrimp was delicious and went great with the sauce provided. I ate more than I should have! * Sweet Corn Fritters... these little suckers are like hushpuppies dilledfilled with bits of corn. They were so tasty and were served with 2 different sauces, a southwest type and a cheesy dip. * Pretzel sticks with BACON honey mustard dipping sauce! These turned out to be my favorite of all the appetizers! Very thick pretzel sticks, more or less the size of large breadsticks but with a tasty pretzel-ly outside. The bacon honey mustard sauce was totally new to me and was simply amazing. If you love bacon (who doesn't?) these are a MUST try! Salad came next and I went with the simple garden salad. It was a standard garden salad with fresh green lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and croutons. Plenty of Bleu cheese dressing - the thick, quality kind with huge chunks of cheese throughout. Entree time and I ordered their Garlic Outlaw Ribeye. Wow! This thing was massive and fully took up half my large plate! Seasoned perfectly but slightly undercooked (ordered medium but it was more medium-rare). Still perfectly delicious and amazingly tender for this large of a cut of meat! I could only finish half! Mashed potatoes were buttery and excellent. Finally, the desserts came out... I was so full by now, I could barely try these, but I had to push through! * Chocolate Stampede cake... a huge slice of cake with multiple chocolate layers and drizzled with nite chocolate syrup, served with vanilla ice cream also drizzled. This is a chocoholics dream! So rich and chocolate... whew! * Blueberry Lemon Butter Cake... buttery, tangy lemon cake with lemon cream and whole blueberries all over the top. As full as I was I ate a bunch of this and liked it even more than the chocolate cake! All in all, a great 5 star experience between great food and excellent wait service! If you are hungry and in the mood for great steak and large portions of everything, get down to Longhorn and check em out!

The ribeye steak was very very tender, absolutely flavorful. The strawberry salad is a specialty salad and is a full dinner plate of mixed greens, grapes, mandarin oranges, strawberries and the best raspberry vinaigrette on the planet. The fried green tomatoes had a sauce and caso cheese on them and was the best tomatoes anywhere for their full flavor and nice texture. Not mushy either. All in all a great dinner The staff was a class A act.

I was in Ogden for some business with my wife we get done is near 5 o'clock so we decided to have dinner so we chose Longhorn steakhouse because of the closest steakhouse that we thought we could find the atmosphere here is really nice have a couple TVs have some country music so enjoy that . I chose the outlaw ribeye medium and as far as dates go it was pretty dang good was in the best I've ever had that's why gave this place before that's not bad at all my wife had the prime rib and she said she told enjoyed it I have unlimited honey bread which is really nice and I had loaded potato and salad this place is pretty good I think it's a good value if you want s good stake. Third time I've been and every time the service is EXTREMELY slow. And every time we end up getting a free apology appetizer. Went last night. Got there at about 5pm. We were seated immediately. On our walk back to our booth one couldn't help the large amounts of food and garbage all over the floor. It wasn't a very busy night. We sat in our booth for about 15 minutes before our server arrived to take our drink order. Of course we gave him our whole order as we had plenty of time to decide. Our bread and drinks came about 10 minutes after that. 20 minutes after that our appetizers arrived. Almost an hour after we were seated our burgers finally came out. I understand if this was a one time, really busy night thing, but unfortunately this has always been the case anytime that we have visited. I don't know what is wrong with this restaurant! Why are they so ridiculously slow getting your food out? It was only a couple of months ago that my mother and I went for lunch and she ended up having to have them box her food before she could eat it because she had to get back to work. The food is usually pretty good. We had the mussel appetizers and lobster dip. When our burgers finally game out an hour later, I was pretty full and decided to cut my burger in half (Ranchers burger), and maybe take a bite or two and then save the rest. Well I'm really glad I cut it in half. It was completely raw on the inside! Not rare...RAW! I pinched the blood, red oozing liquid burger between my fingers just to make sure, and yep...squishy raw meat. Now I'm not one to complain about rare meat. That's usually how I request it. But they never asked me how I wanted my burger done to begin with so I was shocked to see my husbands very rare, (but still slightly cooked) and my seared but raw on the inside burgers. We pointed it out to our server who immediately got the manager. She was very apologetic which I appreciate. She asked me if they could re-cook my hamburger which I declined because it apparently takes an hour to cook a raw hamburger at this restaurant. She offered me a bowl of soup but we just really needed to get out of there because we had already been there so long. So she took the burger off our bill , comped us an appetizer, and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer on a future visit. But really...we won't be going back. My husband ended up grabbing me an In&Out burger on the way home. Longhorn Steakhouse on Wall ave...you can do so much better!

Good as always. The only thing that sucks is that there are too many appetizers on the menu at one time. Could order all of them and only have that for dinner. But if I so that I can't suck down a steak. And why else would I come here than to have a cowboy style rib eye.

Revisited to check the dinner scene and liked the experience. 7 in our party, including the 2 year old. He was well entertained with crayons while we went over the menu. 5 of 7 ordered steaks, 3 different cuts. all cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The veggies I had on my side dish were fresh, cooked well, and visually pleasing. The other 2 in the party ordered the Parm crusted chicken and it was fabulous. My only issue was the waitress made too many trips back to the table to see if we were "okay." It became a bit uncomfortable and I began second guessing if there was a reason things should not be okay.

Well for a first impression this placed FAILED!! My wife and I checked in, they gave us the electronic notifier, told us it would be 30 minutes... After 35 minutes I walked up to check our status and was told by the same girl who checked us in that it would be another 25 minutes with a mouth full of excuses!!! I simply laid the electronic notifier on the desk and we left NEVER TO RETURN to give a second chance of screwing us out of a nice evening with my wife. As we were walking away we over heard customers walking to their car after dining saying how the meal "Sucked". that solidified my reasoning for not returning.

My husband, a friend, and me went on my birthday this year (jan,23rd) 2015, we waited for 20 minutes for a table then decided to just sit at the bar, due to room being available there. We waited another ten minutes for someone to Greet us and order drinks, another 30, possibly 35 minutes for a partial order of our food. We got my husband's and mines orders but not our friends because they were out of the particular side dish he had wanted (which would have been nice to know before hand). They offer mac and cheese instead which was fine with my friend but then took another 5 minutes to get that ready... The server was friendly when she was there but couldn't handle the volume of people. They need to hire more servers if that is the case, there needs to be more then 1 server for 15 people. Anyways to wrap this up my friend didn't even eat with us because we were almost finished by the time his food got there all the way! The food was fantastic but service doesn't make it worth the price!

On Wed, the 14th, I took three 90 plus aunts and my cousin to Longhorn Steakhouse, Four ordered yams, beans, and Salmon for lunch, one ordered ribs with mixed veg. We were all amazed at how good the service was. We loved the hot bread brought to our table and how much attention was given our table. Our server was pregnant, but went over and above what we needed to make our stay memorable. As for the food...the Salmon was moist and worth the trip north. My Mothers ribs were tender and all meat/fish portions ample. I will be back! Being seniors we would like our vegetables cooked longer, but the taste and quality there was excellent add well. Loved the delicate French beans...unlike the larger ones usually served! And the bread was light wheat, steaming hot with ample butter. I recommend this very highly...will return when I visit my Aunt in Ogden again. I plan to try the rib sandwich and steak since that is what is a feature here.

We went twice over 4 days. The service was great each time and the food was very good. My husbands steak came out a perfect rare unfortunately he ordered it med rare. No big deal. They fixed it very quickly. I would highly recommend this place and I will defiantly be back. Ps try the Parmesan crusted chicken. It is Yummy!!

Me and my boyfriend ordered two "well-done" rib-eyed steaks with shrimp. The shrimp was missing when he checked before he left and all they said was "oh sorry." We sat down to eat and one steak was medium cooked and the other medium well. The problem is I'm pregnant and on permanent bed rest at a local hospital. We were celebrating for making it one step closer to healthy delivery. It's said it not safe for pregnant women to eat uncooked food, right? So, I didn't eat that night and was pretty sad and disappointed.

Clean place, found the hosts to be squabbling among themselves our something, a little loud, but these things happen, the wait staff was friendly and very helpful.. The food was really disappointing, flavorless, I would not go back.

When we arrived we were given an old menu, and what we chose was no longer there. They apologize, and have us an appetizer for free. The appetizer was very good. The meal was average. Overall service was average as well.

We came here on a Monday night and it wasn't very busy. My boyfriend and I got there and our drink orders were taken after about 5 minutes, and we then ordered an appetizer and our entrees. The appetizer and our salads came out promptly and tasted pretty good, the Texas Tonion wasn't a typical "Awesome Blossom" which was a great change from the normal greasy onion most places serve. He ordered a steak which he said was good, and I got the Parmesan crusted chicken which was also pretty good. The reason why I am only giving this place 3 stars is that I only got my drink refilled once. The waitress said 4 times "I will go get you another drink." And she only actually brought one at the end of the meal, and it was like pulling teeth to get her to even bring sour cream for my baked potato. I don't understand why it took so long to do a simple task like refill my drink so long when the place was nearly empty. However, that is just par for the course at Long Horn I guess. This is the 3rd time I have been here and practically beg for a diet coke.

Waiter was quick and friendly. Hostess wasn't very nice didn't even smile at us once while we were helped. I got the baby rack ribs and they were quite disappointing with a lot of grisel. My husbands sirloin was very good I'd recommend it. Overall it was an ok experience, when your paying 20$ for a rack of ribs you expect better.

  • R.j. D.

It a busy night. Service as average at best. Waitress took about 20mins to bring us our drinks and take our order. She only refilled my ice tea once. Our food took about45minutes. No-one in our party was especially impressed. My steak had a lot of fat and was overcooked. I thought it was overpriced for the quality and the experience. Next time I'll stick with Ruby River.

  • Ken H.

It was pretty bad. My wife and I went there on a Friday night. It was packed and we were told that the wait would be about 20 minutes which was completely understandable. We sat down and ordered an appetizer. It took them about 20 minutes before we got the appetizer and took them another 45 minutes before we got our meal, which was overlooked by the way. Told the manager about the overlooked steak and she offered us a free desert. We ordered a cheesecake and they brought the wrong thing. Another 15 minutes later, they gave us a FROZEN cheesecake. We sat at our table around 7:45 and we didn't leave the restaurant until a little past 9:00.

The food is good! But...the service is HORRIBLE! We went when fist opened service was horrible figured we try again about 6 months later. STILL HORRIBLE. Not a server to be seen 98.9% of the time. No plates ever cleared, everyone's plates arrived at different times. Never going back!

  • Kevin P.

We got to this location on a weekday at about 3:15 and they proceeded to make us wait for one of their many open and available tables just long enough that we wouldn't be able to order off the lunch menu. Interesting tactic I would say. If you don't want to honor your lunch menu and you make people wait over an hour for a table on a not busy day, just get rid of the lunch specials altogether so you don't have to worry about it anymore!

    (1)
  • Steven V.

They just opened their doors and we went Sunday evening after showing up on Saturday and was told it would be an hour wait. In showing up on Sunday they were out of menu items I.e. asparagus, thousand island salad dressing, miss served mixed drinks, and had sparse toppings on the baked potato. Overall steaks were cooked to order, and the French Onion soup was amazing. The lobster/shrimp appetizer was equally wonderful as was their margarita. Their dessert menu had fantastic adult desserts and we brought two home. We plan on going back! Steve and Dave

Last night I had the outlaw ribeye, best steak I have ever had! The flavor was awesome and they grilled it perfectly. The server was also very attentive and made the whole experience fun without feeling rushed, thanks again for the military discount.

Nice enough place, clean and all, but Hubby ordered a ribeye, and it was good.... Not great, but good. Bon Rico's in Evanston has the best Ribeye's, and everyone else just doesn't compare. I had the prime time burger and while it was good, the Two-Bit Street Cafe in Ogden SLAUGHTERS there's and is only HALF as much. Not impressed. The ONLY thing that was really great was the French onion soup! It was excellent! Otherwise, the place would get two stars.

We went for lunch last Saturday. My daughter and I both had the baby back ribs. They were really good- well seasoned with extra sauce on the side. Fall off the bone cooked just right. Wish they had malt vinegar for the fries. A nice touch was the warm wet face cloth provided - a real necessity for ribs. Will definately go back. Great ambience

We thought we would try this new steakhouse. When we arrived there was a lot of people in the reception area waiting, I put our name in and the lady told us the wait time was 30 min and gave us a thing that would notify us when they were ready for us. Since there was no place to sit, we sat in our car, waited 30 min, went in to ask how much longer? She sai 30 min again! Point is... Don't say a time if you don't know.....if we were told an hour we would of left and not waited even 30 minutes. We did leave and were not impressed with their customer service skills at all. I think we will skip this place......

My husband and I have been to Longhorn twice and we have not been disappointed either time. I love the flavor of the ribeye it was prepared just the way I like it and my husband can't get enough of the stuffed trout. The service was very attentive and and knowledgeable about the menu. We plan on returning often, it's nice that Ogden finally has such a great steakhouse!

  • Cindy S.

Worst place I have ever experienced, my husband took us here for our 25th anniversary. First of all it was quite busy, so we waited over 40 mins for a table, only to find out ,they never gave us a buzzer to call us ( even though we checked in at the front door). Once we got seated it took another 20 mins, to get waited on, we ordered an appetizer, and two dinners with steak smothered in mushrooms , baked potatoes and salads. They brought us the steaks first, ( no seasoning, no mushrooms) had to ask for the mushrooms 2 more times. (They were cold canned mushrooms) We received our salads after we were done with our meals, (they were wilted and almost un eatable ) then they brought the appetizer and a box to go. I was livid, and had not been treated so awful at a restaurant before ever! If you want a GREAT steak go to the Texas Roadhouse not here! I will never step foot into this horrific run place again.
